Study a bible verse with me 🤍
John 12:24 (NLT) says:
“I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels—a plentiful harvest of new lives.”
• Through scripture, Jesus uses the metaphor of a grain of wheat to illustrate a deeper spiritual truth. In agriculture, a single grain of wheat must be buried in the soil to grow into a plant. So technically, it’s “death” is essential for new growth and multiplication.
• The "death" of the kernel symbolizes the necessary sacrifice and transformation required for new life. For Jesus, this metaphor directly points to His impending crucifixion. His physical death is essential for the spiritual renewal and salvation of humanity. Just as the seed must die to bring forth new life, Jesus must undergo His death to bring about the promise of eternal life.
• This verse emphasizes that Jesus’ sacrificial death will not be in vain but will result in a "plentiful harvest of new lives." This indicates that His death will lead to the growth of many new believers and the establishment of a new spiritual reality. The “new kernels” represent the new lives and believers that will emerge from His sacrificial act.
• This principle extends beyond Jesus’ own death. It serves as a broader teaching on discipleship and sacrifice. As followers of Christ, we are also called to embrace the idea that personal sacrifice and self-denial are often necessary for spiritual growth and fruitful ministry. The idea is that through sacrifice, individuals can contribute to a greater spiritual harvest and the spread of God's Kingdom.
• The verse highlights a counterintuitive truth in the Kingdom of God: true success and growth often come through sacrifice and loss. This perspective challenges worldly views on success and encourages us to embrace sacrificial love and service as pathways to spiritual fruitfulness.
• In summary, John 12:24 uses the metaphor of a grain of wheat to show why Jesus’ death was necessary for a great spiritual harvest and crucial for our salvation. He died for our sins out of immense love, so we wouldn’t have to face death ourselves. His sacrifice leads to new spiritual life and growth, not only for Himself but also for those who follow Him and are called to live selflessly.
Have a blessed day 👼🏻🙏💕

Bilton and Scaggs
Back when I was working in the map of Soho, I got to Bilton and Scaggs Hats and Caps. There is so much to say about this shop and its history, and it is so interesting that it warrants its own post, so here we are
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bilton and Scaggs Publishers was a London publishing firm in the 1600's, we don't really know when it was established though. They were not one of the eight great publishers of London, but they were doing well enough, after all, it was able to survive its three major publishing disasters (which occurred in rapid succession). Alas, it looks like Bilton and Scaggs, publishers went out of business somewhere in the 1890's and the milliner who set up shop there, kept the name. Nowadays, only Aziraphale knows the full story. What follows are details of their disasters. They are quite funny, unless you are Master Bilton or Master Scaggs of course :P
The first one was in 1651; when they accidentally printed the so called Buggre Alle This Bible. This very rare misprinted Bible had a few verses added to Genesis and a variation in Ezekiel. Of course our angel owns one copy. Genesis chapter 3 normally has 24 verses where the last one goes like this: "24. So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life." The three additional ones go like this:
25. And the Lord spake unto the Angel that guarded the eastern gate, saying Where is the flaming sword which was given unto thee? 26. And the Angel said, I had it here only a moment ago, I must have put it down some where, forget my own head next. 27. And the Lord did not ask him again.
"It appears that these verses were inserted during the proof stage. In those days it was common practice for printers to hang proof sheets to the wooden beams outside their shops, for the edification of the populace and some free proofreading, and since the whole print run was subsequently burned anyway, no one bothered to take up this matter with the nice Mr. A. Ziraphale, who ran the bookshop two doors along and was always so helpful with the translations, and whose handwriting was instantly recognizable." The other issue with this Bible was a little change in Ezekiel 48:5 and it is the change that gives the Bible its name:
2. And bye the border of Dan, fromme the east side to the west side, a portion for Afher. 3. And bye the border of Afher, fromme the east side even untoe the west side, a portion for Naphtali. 4. And bye the border of Naphtali, from the east side untoe the west side, a portion for Manaffeh. 5. Buggre Alle this for a Larke. I amme sick to mye Hart of typefettinge. Master Biltonn if no Gentelmann, and Master Scagges noe more than a tighte fisted Southwarke Knobbefticke. I telle you, onne a daye laike thif Ennywone with half an oz. of Sense shoulde bee oute in the Sunneshain, ane nott Stucke here alle the liuelong daie inn thif mowldey olde By-Our-Lady Workefhoppe. @ “Æ@;! 6. And bye the border of Ephraim, from the east fide even untoe the west fide, a portion for Reuben.
What we can conclude from here is that Aziraphale owned a bookshop in the 1650's that was in the same block as Bilton and Scaggs Publishers. From the deleted scenes in the script book we know he opened A. Z. Fell & Co. in 1800. But there is nothing saying he couldn't have owned a bookshop with a different name decades or centuries before. The bookshop tour special feature from the S1 DVD says he's had it for 350 years. Counting from 2020, that would put it at around 1670. But if we generalize to around 2000, that means the shop could have been there in the 1650's. This more or less matches this ask where it is explained that Aziraphale bought the land in 1630 and over the next 60 years (1690ish) he expanded and built the current bookshop.
Tumblr media
Sorry for the tangent, back to Bilton and Scaggs.
The second publishing disaster occurred in 1653 when somehow they obtained one of the famed Shakespeare's "Lost Quartos" and subsequently lost it (the three Shakespeare plays never reissued in folio edition and now are totally lost to scholars and playgoers. Their names are "The Comedie of Robin Hoode, or, The Forest of Sherwoode", "The Trapping of the Mouse", and finally "Golde Diggers of 1589." In S2 Episode 6 we see all three folios inside the box Gabriel brought with him. I am sure if asked directly, Aziraphale will assure you that he has no idea how those pamphlets got into that box. It was completely empty only four days ago!
Tumblr media
The third and final disaster happened in 1655 and involved a prophecy book that didn't sell a single copy and ended up being the first book remaindered in England: "The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, witch." Not even the sign "Locale Author" attached to the book helped sell it in the author's home town in Lancashire. At the end the publisher destroyed all the unsold copies. Aziraphale, however, seems to have found the 1655 catalog from Bilton and Scaggs that contained only the 1972 prophecy "Do not buy Betamax."
I do find interesting that although evidently Aziraphale had a close relationship with Master Bilton and Master Scaggs, he still failed to secure a copy of the prophecies. It was printed right there! Next to you! How did that happen? Where were you, Aziraphale??!!

He Has The Remedy
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ John 8:47 Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
========================
+ Psalm 116:1-2 I love the Lord, because he has heard my voice and my pleas for mercy. Because he inclined his ear to me, therefore I will call on him as long as I live.
=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM LISTENING
I AM FOLLOWING CHRIST
CHRIST HAS THE SOLUTION
I AM HOLDING HIS HAND
========================
READ TIME: 8 Minutes & 39 Seconds
========================
THOUGHTS:
=======================
When we were all in school, we had math classes, and I can remember algebra class, and it was tough coming up with the solution. I remember having this paper and a sharp pencil sitting there figuring out the solution, and sometimes I didn't come up with the right one, which was even more frustrating the more I tried it; I still couldn’t get it, and my teacher would get on the board and explain the solution step by step she would take her time, and as I saw her do this I’m like it’s no way I can ever do this I don’t know why she's even asking us to do this I can't do it,
I wanted to give up because the solution to every algebra problem was long. I felt defeated, and as the weeks went on, I learned how to come up with it, but it took me time to watch her and go from step to step slowly and look at her as I did it. I had to stay focused on her because I don’t think I could’ve done it on my own.
This is just like our Father who is in heaven; he has the remedy, the solution to everything; it's just up to us to keep our eyes on him and trust him through the difficult stages of every part of our lives a lot of time we don’t know what we are doing because we lose focus or we think that he doesn’t know what he's talking about. Still, God knows about everything we have a problem with, and he has seen it all before; we haven’t, but he has the solution and the remedy to it all; it's up to us to follow every step he’s given to the letter.
Proverbs 3:5- 6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart.do not depend on your understanding.Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take.
Jesus will show us the right path if we take it and walk with him; a lot of times when I messed up on my algebra problem, it was because I wanted to take shortcuts and figure things out on my own but what we must understand that we can't take short cuts with God we can try to do this in every area of our life but doing this with our walk with Christ can be difficult because we are taking our eyes off of him, we can't do this friend,.
We must seek his will so that the steps we take will add up to the path he wants us on often times we don’t know what he wants because we aren’t paying attention the Bible tells us don’t depend on your understanding when we are unsure about life we must count on the one that is for sure which is God he knows our most significant hurt and the solution to the most challenging things all we must do is ask him.
Verse 7-8: Don’t be impressed with your wisdom.Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones.
We can't count on what we know to get us the solution to our problems because we don’t know, but when we count on him, he will guide us slowly through our hiccups; the word says to turn away from evil; we can't count on this world to lead us I tried everything to get me the correct answers to my problems when I was doing algebra , but I still had no success.
Still, when I focused on the steps and wrote them down, I could quickly finish the problems because I was watching my teacher do the work; watching someone who knows and listening to someone who knows shouldn’t make us feel less but should make us understand that we can do as much as we can alone. Still, we will always need God to hold our hands, and that’s what he wants us to do in everything.
This week, we talked about being partakers, and sometimes we feel we have to be partakers in this world to get ahead or to feel included, but we don’t have to; every day, we must give our sleeves to Christ so that we can remain in him because disconnected from him we can't do anything but as long as we are reading our word praying and mediating we can do everything through his strength because its his strength that strengths us.
Philippians 4:13 For I can do everything through Christ, who strengthens me.
It might be hard to listen to God because we want to do everything on our sleeves, but we must listen to God even when it hurts; we talked about this week how obedience hurts, and it sometimes hurts because we have to let go of a lot of things we use to do ,but when we finally realize what God is trying to do in our lives we learn that we will be okay and the solution , it might seem complicated, but it isn’t.
• Psalm 119:60 I hasten and do not delay to keep your commandments.
* John 14:21 Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my father, and I will love and manifest myself to him.”
* John 15:14 You are my friends if you do what I command you.
To walk in the commands of God it takes maturity because, as babes in Christ, we sometimes want to do our own thing; we want God to follow us, but we can't have this kind of mindset; everything we do must be growing in him and changing in him, and as we change in him, we began to see what he wants for us is what's best for us it might not feel this way at the time.
Still, as long as we are waiting on him and growing in him, we will see what he wants is what's best, and that’s how we grow in him in maturity; we can't be on milk forever; we have to begin to grow and be on more solid foods, how many of you are ready for solid foods, how many of you want to walk in the calling God has for you , well we can't do this until we start listening and obeying him.
Ephesians 5:2: Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.
**** Today we learned about how to follow Christ for the solution and that we don’t know the solution, we don’t know the way, but he did; going step by step and listening to him is the only way to obey God; we don’t know the way, he might give us his will, but we still must go back to him to hear if we are going the right way .
No matter how much I have written down the solution I still got it wrong why because I was missing the small steps and God doesn’t want us to miss the small thing he wants us to continue to walk in and be obedient children, we all want to know our way but we don’t know the way if we won't listen to the true way and Christ is the way, not this world not fancy house and cars, but knowing God and seeking him is the true way to a peaceful life; today, if you find it difficult for you , ask him to show you the solution because he has the answer. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, we thank you for having the solution to our problems. We ask you to help us to hear you when you speak, lord we are sorry if we did anything that’s not of you; help us to take our walk step by step with you! Lord, we love you so much, and thank you for everything. Lord, we love you so much. Help us through the rough parts of our lives, lord; we don’t know everything, but we know you do; please lead us into what you want from us in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Hey there, I have a question.
First off, I used to self h«rm a lot and attempted suic!de multiple times. When I finally decided to talk to the social worker at my very Christian school, the first and only thing she told me was that what I did was a sin, and that I had no right to do it, since my body only belongs to God. Don’t get me wrong, I’m Christian too, but what she told me really damaged my faith. When I told her that I am bisexual (that wasn’t the main topic, it just came up), she told me that for that, I deserve to be kille?, and that it would’ve been better if my attempts had succeeded.
I tried dot educate myself on the topic of suic¿de in the Bible, but I couldn’t really keep doing that since it only triggered me and I couldn’t keep doing it. But I feel like you really know about the Bible, and so I wanted to ask what you know about that topic.
If you don’t want to answer this, that’s completely fine, I can understand it‘s a sensible topic.
Have a beautiful day, you deserve the best.
Wow, I'm so sorry you've had such serious struggles and the social worker would tell you such things. Some people really shouldn't be put in positions where they are supposed to be a trusted source of advice and counsel and she sounds like one of those people. Those are incredibly damaging things to say to someone who was in the very vulnerable state you were in. I'm glad you were able to keep your faith in God and made attempts to study the issue yourself even though you had an experience that understandably made both those things more difficult. Like if she actually told you it would have been better if your suicide attempts were successful that's very suicide baity and I hope she's not still in that position.
I'm very honored you feel like I know the Bible pretty well. I have been studying it more in depth this past year or two so I definitely know more than I used to but there's still a lot for me to learn!
The Bible doesn't explicitly address suicide and say not to do it, but we can get a very solid understanding of what God thinks about it by reading and studying his word. We know that God is the creator and he has given us the gift of life. And he makes it clear in the Bible that all life is unique and precious to him and he does not want us to take it upon ourselves to end our own lives.
There six or seven people mentioned in the Bible who committed suicide and several more who had suicidal thoughts but overcame them by putting their hope in God. Elijah, Solomon, Jonah, Job, even Paul all hit the point where they wanted to give up on life and some even asking God to end them, but instead of going through with these desires, they ended up putting their trust and faith in God and he pulled them through, which is what he wants us to do whenever we have to the point where we are in so much despair the only things we can think of to distract ourselves or end our troubles is self harm and suicide. In Acts 16 Paul even explicitly stops a prison guard who was about to kill himself after thinking a bunch of prisoners had escaped and tells him not to kill himself.
There are many verses in the Bible about coming to God when we feel at our lowest.
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." - Isaiah 41:10
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11
"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." - Psalms 55:22
"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death." - Romans 8:1-2
"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." - Psalms 34:18-19
Those are by no means all the verses, but it is a small sampling that shows that God wants us to come to him with our despair, sorrow and grief so he can give us healing and hope again.
Speaking theologically, suicide would be a considered a sin. It goes against God's commandments and disrespects the gift of life he has given and disrespects the fact that God is the giver and taker of life. Life is not ours to take. Not from another person and not from ourselves. God created us special. In 1 Corinthians it says “Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” This pertains to far more than suicide, but suicide is definitely a way to disrespect our own body.
God does tell us not to commit murder and suicide is technically self-murder. So while suicide is a sin, it's not unforgivable and it's not something you deserve for anything else you do or are struggling with and it's completely unbiblical for anyone to say you should be killed or your suicide attempts should have been successful.
I am very glad you made attempts to study for yourself instead of just accepting what that woman told you and I hope you have found healing and I hope I was able to provide a somewhat satisfactory answer for you.
Thank you for your kind words. I hope you are doing better and have a wonderful day! God bless!

I’ve been seeing Rimmer outfit appreciation post lately and I wanted to add the OG JMC uniform, I mean…look at him. It doesn’t wash him out either which more muted colours can do.
He must have so proud when he put it on the first time, 16 years old on his first away mission (I’m assuming the JMC works like the UK military and you can join at 16) regulation boots polished to gleaming, tie done over and over until it sat just right, sewing over his arm patch again with meticulous precision just so he could be sure it wouldn’t come off. So full of hope, he was going to become an officer, he was going to make his family love him, he’d be successful just like his brothers, sure he hadn’t been able to get into the academy but school isn’t for everyone, plus he’d get a more hands on education in a real mining ship, no theoreticals here, just the unaltered experience, he was going to prove them all wrong, he was good enough, he wasn’t a failure, he wasn’t worthless, he was going to be one of the greats. He’d taken a grinning picture next to the Dwarf before he’d gotten on board the first time and sent it to his Mother, he’d never heard back about it.
Oh how naive he’d been, he’d think to himself years on, how childishly, ignorantly naive. How stupid, how worthless, suddenly the uniform he’d been so proud of caused him no amount of shame, he shamed it by never getting as far as he wanted, by the time that Lister comes around he’s fourteen years and two menial promotions in to a devastatingly pathetic career that his family (or at least his parents) enjoyed pointing out him immensely, his brothers were marginally kinder, Frank had even given him an awkward side hug and quoted a Bible verse about everything working itself together for good that he didn’t believe in, but at least he’d tried, Rimmer begrudgingly admitted to himself, John had showed his support by having his wife interrupt their Mother with wedding inquiries when they were engaged, then baby preparations when she’d degraded him for what he deemed too long, his wife was genuinely nice, their parents hadn’t liked him marrying her as pretty or as intelligent as she was, probably because she was nice, she baked and he was always the first to try a new recipe, she was the only one of the in laws who remembered to invite him to family celebrations and events, she even had coffee with him when he was shore leave on Io, her voice was soft and her hugs were warm, she would shoot him these commiserating looks over the table, and Howard, well he hadn’t said anything, which was better than joining in, Howard stayed mercifully silent and he was known for his sharp tongue.
Despite all this the uniform was a strange comfort, even though it was a constant reminder of his failures. It wasn’t that he didn’t have “normal people clothes” as he put it, or couldn’t fit in a pair of jeans, that had gotten a slap across the back of the head, it was that the clothes made him feel oddly vulnerable, he’d always imagined he’d ware them on shore leave or a weekend partying with friends, friends he’d never made, they made him insecure, so they sat in the bottom of the wardrobe locker untouched. He knew it was sad, but so was the rest of his life.
The song has very little to do with the post other than being something angsty I’m sure would listen to and Josh Groban deserves some appreciation for that performance.

Deconstructing "we love because he first loved us"
Gods are reflections of the people who write about them. God loved because humans loved first.
Early in my deconstruction, I really struggled with reframing the Bible as something other than the inerrant word of the Almighty Christian god. I'd operated for so long under the fundamentalist idea that every word was divinely inspired that it was difficult to think of it in any other way. Sure, I could take a verse or two apart and make counterpoints against specific arguments. But what about the book as a whole?
It really helped me to revisit other ancient texts that I'd read in school and learn about others that I hadn't heard of before. Eventually, I started thinking about the Bible as something like Homer's Iliad, Odyssey, or Ovid's Metamorphoses. The authors of these works make a lot of claims about both human events and divine interference, but I do not feel pressure to live my life by them. I do not fear the wrath of any of the gods in these poems and I do not view them as unquestionable, divinely inspired works.
I've been asked before, on this blog and by Christians in my life, if I can still find meaning in the Bible. And I do, just not universal meaning. Because none of these works are universal. I now see all of these works as human-made. They reflect the purpose, preference, and knowledge of the people who wrote them. And with that understanding, I finally let go of my fear of the Bible as the Word of God.
The violence, grace, and love of the Biblical god were extensions of the humans who wrote the Bible. He cared about the success of a specific group of people because they cared about themselves. He railed against their enemies because they did. He gave divine explanations because they were interested in understanding the workings of the world. And the Biblical god loved because they loved first.

Lets talk numerology
As episode 11 will be rescheduled to next week (and while this is quite a bummer), it also gave me a chance to delve deeper into the numbers (+ combinations) present on the plates of the car of No. 3 and KMC.
Its really fascinating and fitting (personality wise) what I found out after a long and deep dive into all of it.
Here we go
Meaning of the numbers
The history/mythology behind each of them (note: I cannot include each mythology or can expand on them)
Korean numerology meaning of the numbers
Interesting fact about KSJs house number (177)
Number plate of the parcel driver
Lets dive into the topic!
Lets start with the number combinations present on the plate of No.3's car
Tumblr media
31.
Also called an angel number, 31 represents new beginnings, fresh opportunities, creativity, positivity, motivation and progress. It helps to let go of old habits, to move forwards.
When this number appears in someones life, the angels are telling them that new beginnings are on the way. They want people to trust themselves and the universe to make the necessary changes to achieve their goals.
It also signifies the need for open communication, honest and trust (especially with a partner)
67.
Yet another angel number, 67 exist to represent spiritual awakening, fulfilling purpose and shows the "right path"
It is also associated with new beginnings, fresh starts and new opportunities. If someone is looking for a change in their life, the number 67 may be a sign that they should make some changes. (It is a powerful combination of 6 and 7, more on these numbers later)
In the bible, 67 has a significant meaning as well, It appears on multiple occasions:
1. The Apostle Paul conducts his final and fifth missionary journey between 63 to 67 A.D. His journey begins in Rome after the Roman Empire acquits him of the charges against him and he is freed. He then sails to Crete and travels to Nicopolis where he will write the books of 1. Timothy and Titus. In 67 A.D., while in prison, Paul writes his final and fourteenth book called 2. Timothy. It is a heartfelt letter to his best friend and fellow evangelist Timothy. It offered both encouragement and a warning that his martyrdom was fast approaching. »But as for you, be vigilant in all things, endure hardships, do the work of an evangelist; fully carry out your ministry. For I (Paul) am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight; I have finished the course; I have kept the faith (2Timothy 4:5 - 7)« 67 A.D. will prove to be the last full year of Paul's life. Nero, who had recently begun the first state sponsored persecution of Christians, shows no mercy to Paul the Roman citizen. He condemns him to death by beheading in 68 A.D. just before he himself commits suicide on June 9.
2. The twelve Minor Prophets (Amos, Habakkuk, Haggai, Hosea, Joel, Jonah, Malachi, Micah, Nahum, Obadiah, Zechariah, and Zephaniah) have a total number of 67 chapters.
3. Psalm 67, credited to King David, is a song praising God that expresses his desire that the whole world come to understand the salvation the Eternal offers to all humans. »May God be gracious to us, and bless us, and cause His face to shine upon us. Selah. So that Your way may be known on earth, Your salvation among all nations . . . Let the people praise You, O God; let all the people praise You (verses 1 - 2, 5).«
90.
Here we have yet another angel number. This time, it helps to manifestin dreams, signifies positive energy and development and just like 67, its to be associated with enlightenment and spiritual awakening. It also symbolizes the imminent endings and terminations of some events in ones life.
3.
In numerology, a 3 is associated with harmoney, wisdom, understanding, joy, abundance, success and good fortune. It is also associated with Jupiter (both the god and the planet)
It also appears in the bible on multiple occasions:
1. Number 3 is mentioned 467 times in God's word. It derives its symbolism from the fact that it is the first of four spiritually perfect numerals (the others being 7, 10 and 12). The 3 righteous patriarchs before the flood were Abel, Enoch and Noah. After the deluge, there was the three righteous "fathers" of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 2. Jesus prayed three times in the Garden of Gethsemane before His arrest. He was placed on the cross at the 3rd hour of the day (9 a.m.) and died at the 9th hour. There were 3 hours of darkness that covered the land while Jesus was suffering on the cross from the 6th hour to the 9th hour. Christ was dead for three full days and nights. 3. In Christianity, there exists the "threefold office" which states that Christ performs the functions of prophet, priest, and king.
In Norse Mythology it also holds significance
1. Prior to Ragnarök, there will be three hard winters without an intervening summer. These winters are called "Fimbulwinter" (meaning awful, migthy winter in old norse)- these winters mean no summer in between, but filled with snow, bitter frost and icy storms. (There is speculation that climate change, which began in Scandinavia at the end of the Nordic Bronze Age, gave rise to the legend of the Fimbulwinter.) 2. Odin endured three hardships upon the World Tree in his quest for the runes: he hanged himself, wounded himself with a spear, and suffered from hunger and thirst. 3. Bor had three sons: Odin (father god in norse mythology associated with wisdom, healing, death, royalty, the gallows, knowledge, war, battle, victory, sorcery, poetry, frenzy, and the runic alphabet), Vili and  Vé. All three sons are the creators of the world.
In greek mythology it too makes its appearance through the 3 sons of Cronos (god of time)
1. Zeus (god of sky and thunder) known for: turning his first wife into a fly which he then ate, cursing Sisyphus to push a giant boulder up a hill forever, chaining prometheus to a rock so an eagle could eat his liver, consistently being unfaithful to his wife (Hera), confining Tantalus in the underworld out of pure reach of nourishment, turning into a cloud to seduce Io, tricking Pandora into opening the box and ultimately turning herself into the burden of humanity, wiping out humankind, binding Ixion to an eternally burning wheel, forcing Atlas to hold the world on his shoulders, raping Callisto (whom he then turned into a bear) as well as Antiope and Alcmene (and many other female gods) 2. Poseidon (god of sea, storms, earthquakes and horses) known for: fighting in the troja war where he created such a huge earthquake it nearly destroyed the underworld, raping Athena and Demeter (and many more) 3. Hades (god of the underworld and the dead) known for kidnapping Persephone and tricking her into marrying him
(The roman equivalents are Saturn, Jupiter, Neptun and Pluto)
Other religions also reference the number 3
The Wiccan Rule of Three. The Triple Goddess: Maiden, Mother, Crone (the three fates) The Slavic god Triglav has three heads. There were three primary gods in Babylonia mythology (Anu, Bel, Ea) Three aspects to the Egyptian sun god (Khepri, Re, Atum)
And it represents the male principles
The number 3 is a very mystical and spiritual number featured in many folktales (three wishes, three guesses, three little pigs, three bears, three billy goats gruff). Plato saw 3 as being symbolic of the triangle, the simplest spatial shape, and considered the world to have been built from triangles.
In German folklore a paper triangle with a cross in each corner and a prayer in the middle was thought to act as protection against gout, as well as protecting a cradle from witches.
Three black animals were often sacrificed when attempting to conjure up demons. On the other hand, a three-coloured cat was a protective spirit. In William Shakespeare’s Macbeth (1606–07) there are three witches, and their spell begins, “Thrice the brindled cat hath mewed,” reflecting such superstitions.
Also, 3 is the dimension of the smallest magic square in which every row, column, and diagonal sums to 15
We continue with the number combination on the plate of KMC's car

21.
Again, another angel number. It signifies good luck and faith.
21 means to enter a time of abundance. For those who have been dealing with a time of transition or facing difficulties, seeing this number can be a positive sign that soon this period will be behind you, and you can take the lessons of the past and put them to good use in your bright and beautiful future. This number has a special meaning - one connected to comfort, protection, and positive energy, helping you enter the next chapter of your life path.
In the bible, 21 is present as well
1. It represents great wickedness of rebellion and sin. After the people left Egyptian bondage, they had twenty-one major rebellious events as they wandered the wilderness. 2. The book of Judges and the gospel of John contain 21 chapter 3. The book of Hebrews contains materials from twetnty-one Old Testament books 4. In 2. Timothy the apostel Paul writes of 21 sins which show the exceeding wickedness of self and sin. He begins chapter 3 with a warning; "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will…" he then proceeds to list the sind humans will indulge in: 1) selfishly love themselves 2) Love money 3) Bragging 4) Be proud of themselves 5) Blaspheme 6) Disregard and disobe their parents 7) Not be thankful for what they have 8) Reject being holy 9) Will not have natural affection 10) Will be uncompromising 11) Falsely accuse others 12) Lack of any self-control 13) Will be fierce 14) Hate anyone who does good 15) Betray others 16) Will act hardheaded 17) Will have exalted, selfish views 18) Lovers of pleasure 19) Reject loving god 20) Will seem superficially to be godly 21) Deny God's power
0.
The number of nothingness. freedom and no limitations. It is also often referred to as the void, as it represents potential and choice. It most likely means that positive change is on the way
In Chinse numerology on the other hand it takes on a quite positive meaning (beginning of all things (and is generally considered a good number, because it sounds like 良 (pinyin: liáng), which means 'good'.
9.
The number of completion, although not a final ending. 9 means "near the final destination", and represents fulfillment of one cycle so you can prelare to initiate the next one as well as ebb and flow.
Again, another important number in the bible
It represents the fruits of God's Holy Spirit. These fruits are faithfulness, gentleness, goodness, joy, kindness, long suffering, love, peace and self-control
And it also appears in Norse Mythology
1. The universe is divided into nine worlds which are all connected by the world tree "Yggdrasil". 2. The number is also associated with Odin, as that is how many days he hung from the world tree Yggdrasil before attaining knowledge of the runes » Odin's self-sacrifice: But he wanted to know everything and gain wisdom and knowledge of things hidden from him (runes). This was a desire that drove him to sacrifice himself. He sacrificed his eye in Mimir's well and he threw himself on his spear Gungnir in a kind of symbolic, ritual suicide.«
As well as in Greek Mythology
1. There exist nine Muses in Greek mythology named: - Calliope (epic poetry) - Clio (history) - Erato (erotic poetry) - Euterpe (lyric poetry) - Melpomene (tragedy) - Polyhymnia (song) - Terpsichore (dance) - Thalia (comedy) - Urania (astronomy). 2. The River Styx, across which souls were ferried to the underworld, is described as having nine twists. 3. It takes nine days (for an anvil) to fall from heaven to earth, and nine more to fall from earth to Tartarus (place of punishment in the underworld) 4. Leto (goddess of motherhood and protectress of the young) labored for nine days and nine nights for Apollo, according to the Homeric Hymn to Delian Apollo.
The number 9 also often represents pain or sadness. The 16th-century Catholic theologian Peter Bungus pointed out that the Ninth Psalm predicts the coming of the Antichrist. In Islamic cosmology the universe is made from nine spheres—the traditional eight of Ptolemy, plus a ninth added by the Arab astronomer Thābit ibn Qurrah about 900 CE to explain the precession of the equinoxes.
In Anglo-Saxon cultures 9 crops up frequently. The early inhabitants of Wales used nine steps to measure distance in legal contexts; for example, a dog that has bitten someone can be killed if it is nine steps away from its owner’s house, and nine people assaulting one constituted a genuine attack.
In German law the ownership of land terminated after the ninth generation. Many folk sayings involve the number 9. A stitch in time saves nine. Cloud nine is the ultimate in happiness. A cat has nine lives.
76.
And of course, yet another angel number and associated with luck, success, wealth, clarity, thought, love and creativity. The number also shows to focus your attention on your goals and continue to work hard to achieve them. It is a powerful combination of the number 6 and 7 (more on these numbers below)
2.
In numerology, the number represents teamwork, service, love, friendship, patience, personal growth, learning, emotional balance, partnership, acceptance, peace, bonding and mutual interests.
It again shows up in Christianity as an important number as it represent Adam (the failure, sinner and destructor) and Jesus (the sucess), Lilith (Adams first wife) and Eva (Adams second wife)
The number 2 symbolizes many of the basic dualities: me/you, male/female, yes/no, alive/dead, left/right, yin/yang, and so on. Dualities are common in human approaches to the world, probably because of our preference for two-valued logic—yet another duality, true/false. Although 2 was female to the Pythagoreans (Members of a religious-philosophical and politically active school, the Pythagoras of Samos in the 20s of the 6th century BC), other numerological schemes viewed it as male.
In Agrippa von Nettesheim’s De occulta philosophia (1533; “On the Philosophy of the Occult”), 2 is the symbol for man, sex, and evil. One reason that some have associated 2 with evil is that the biblical book of Genesis does not use the formula “and it was good” when referring to the second day of Creation.
Some religions are dualistic, with two gods in place of the one God of monotheism. Examples include Zoroastrianism, where Ahura Mazdā (the god of light and goodness) battles with Ahriman (the god of darkness and evil).
The number 2 is often associated with negatives, as in the words duplicity and two-faced. Northwest Coast Indians required the parents of twins to observe various taboos because they believed that supernatural powers would bring the wishes of twins to fruition.
It is also symbolic of the female principles
This part will include number 1, 6 and 7
1.
This number represents confidence, movement, newness, creation, birth of all things, origin of the universe, opportunity, to turn circumstances into anything we wish, control of future, independence, goal oriented, innovative, forceful, risky, doubtful, power and action in numerology.
Not surprisingly, the number 1 is generally treated as a symbol of unity.
The Pythagoreans did not consider 1 to be a number at all because number means plurality and 1 is singular. However, they considered it to be the source of all numbers because adding many 1s together can create any other (positive whole) number. In their system, where odd numbers were male and even numbers female, the number 1 was neither; instead, it changed each to the other. If 1 is added to an even number, it becomes odd; similarly, if 1 is added to an odd number, it becomes even.
In the faiths of Islamic, Jewish and Christian cultures the number 1 is associated with the unity of God. For medieval alchemists and metaphysicians the number was associated with the Philosopher's Stone, the unknown catalyst that was thought to transform base metals magically into gold.
The number 1 is also associated with the following deities:
Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of Love
Apollo, the Greek God of Beauty and Truth
Diana, the Roman Goddess of the Hunt
Vesta, the Roman Hearth Goddess
Freya, the Norse Goddess of Fertility
Pangu, the Chinese God who seperated earth and heaven
The number 1 is associated with the colors red, crimson, scarlet and cherry. Gemstones associated with the number 1 are ruby and garnet. Flowers associated with the number are red roses and red carnations.
Common superstitions about the number one are:
Break one egg and you will break a leg
It is unlucky to walk around the house in one slipper
Only keep money in one pocket or you will lose it.
People with one hand are psychic.
  A one-eyed person is a witch.
Seeing one magpie bodes a death in your future.
Seeing one white horse brings bad luck.
If you wash your hair on the first day of the month you will have a short life.
It is unlucky to get married August 1st or January 1st.
6.
The number of domestic happiness, stability, harmony and blessing.
In Christianity, it holds a significance
1. It appears as the number of six days of Creation in Genesis, with God resting on the seventh day. The structure of the Creation parallels the sum 1 + 2 + 3: on day 1 light is created; on days 2 and 3 heaven and earth appear; finally, on days 4, 5, and 6 all living creatures are created. 2. The number 6 and its meaning are related to man and human weakness, the evils of the devil and the manifestation of sin. Man was created on day six of creation week. Men are appointed 6 days to labor and then they are commanded to rest on the seventh day (Friday sunset to Saturday sunset). 3. A Hebrew slave had to serve 6 years before he could be released in the 7th year. Six years were appointed for the land to be sown and harvested. The number is also associated with Satan in his temptation of Jesus 4. The bringing together of triple six is the mark of the end time Beast power of Revelation. As such, it represents the very best system of governance that mankind can produce without God and under the constant influence of his chief adversary.
In Greek Mythology, number 6 represents
The goddess Venus (Goddess of love)
Hermes (God of Commerce)
Athena (Goddess of wisdom)
In Roman Mythology it represents Bacchus (God of Winemaking and Fertility
Some common supersitions about the number 6 are:
Its unlucky to purposely turn the number 6 upside down in jest as it means your projects will not be completed
If you find a rose with six petals it means you will be lucky in love
If you find a pansy petal with six colors on it, it means you will be protected against hurricanes and tornados
It is unlucky to get married on October 6th or November 6th
7.
In numerology, this number is associated with war, protection, eternal life and pefection
The number 7 is equally sacred amongst Islamic, Christian and Jewish religions. According to Jewish and Christian mythologies it took six days to create the world with the seventh day being the holiest day - a day of rest. The Bible, Zohar and other religious texts also recommend that fields were to be left fallow every seventh year as means of allowing the earth to regenerate itself. Some Christians believe the number 7 represents the seven levels of hell.
It is Hebrew tradition to mourn, or sit Shivah, for a period of 7 days.
Deities associated with the number 7 include Frigga (Norse goddess of marriage, life, motherhood and heaven) Minerva (the Roman Goddess of Intelligence and Wisdom) and Mithras (Sun God in Zoroastrian lore)
The number 7 is associated with the colors violet, purple and plum. 7's gemstone is amethyst.
Flowers associated with 7 are irises and deep purple roses.
Some common superstitions about the number 7 are:
If your date of birth can be reduced to a single number that can be divided by seven then you will have a particularly lucky life.
Shattering a mirror brings 7 years of bad luck.
If you sing before 7 am then you will cry before 11 am.
Wrapping her husband's belt 7 times around a tree causes a woman to become fertile.  The seventh child of a seventh child is said to have psychic powers.
If you wash your hair on the 7th day of the month you will have trouble with the law.
It is unlucky to get married April 7th or December 7th.
If you dream about the number 7, you will soon meet a soul mate.
Interesting thing about number 321
It represents creativity, joy, harmony, balance and moving forward
Korean supersititions on number 3:
This number also occurs several times in Korean mythology.
One of the key figures in Korean mythology is Hwanung. When Hwanung descended from heaven to earth, he had three seals and was accompanied by 3,000 followers. Also, Hwanung owned three powers: wind, rain, and clouds. Furthermore, according to the myth explaining how the first human appeared on Korean land, a bear stayed in the cave for three weeks. After that time, Hwanung transformed the bear into a beautiful woman.
Korean superstitions on number 9:
Apart from “4”, people in Korea are wary of “9”. When people reach an age ending in 9, for example, 29, 39, and so on, some of them begin to worry. They believe that this particular year will be difficult and misfortunes or failures may occur.
This attitude towards the number is due to the fact that after 9 comes 0. As a result, it is interpreted as the end of the old, and new beginnings from scratch which many people have anxiety about. There is a risk of choosing the wrong path at such an important time, some may even postpone significant events, such as weddings, to a later date.
Interesting fact about KSJs house number (177)
Tumblr media
Seeing angel number 77 indicates divine support, and spiritual growth, and calls for a time of self-discovery and freedom.
Aligned with the soul’s purpose
Indicates psychic experiences and heightened spiritual awareness
Represents healing, spiritualism, and psychic abilities
Ruled by the planet Saturn, indicating challenges ahead
In a twin flame context, 77 signals a transition from rocky times to positive changes
Numerologically, 77 signifies freedom, introspection, adventure, and heightened spiritual awareness
Angel number 77 love reading is all about strong, healthy relationships. It advises caution in giving your heart too quickly
Seeing 77 meany to take risks, listen to the inner self and to follow dreams
While the number 77 rarely occurs in the Bible, far more common is the appearance of double 7's, some of which have a special meaning.
Noah wanted to determine the status of the water after the great flood. He sent out a raven and later a dove from the ark (Genesis 8:7 - 8). The dove returned without any symbol of life. Seven days later, he resent the dove. This time it returned with an olive leaf, proving that the waters had almost completely subsided although the ground was likely still water logged. He waited yet another seven days (double 7 or 77) and sent the dove yet again. This time, it did not return, which meant that the ground was dry enough for many kinds of animals.«
In mythology, number 77 is oftentimes symbolic of destruction (gilgamesh epos, which is similar to the noahs ark story)
Moreover, it indicates a time of inner reflection and self-discovery
177
An angle number and a powerful reminder that when we stay true to ourselves, use our creativity, and trust our intuition, anything is possible. It's a sign that we are on the right path and have the courage to pursue our passions and make positive changes in our lives.
It serves as reminder that it is up to us to go after what we want in life. We may be feeling scared, or like we are not good enough.
It will often show up when the reason we arent acting is fear and doubt. Perhaps we fear failure, or doubt that we truly have the ability to achieve something. It could even be that we don’t really think we deserve the things that we want- tells us that these are just symptoms of low self-esteem, and that we need to work on loving ourselves.
It also points to our intuition, and its power to help guide us through life. It is also our intuition that will let us know whether seeing the number 177 is a sign from the Angels.
The number is also always a call to action. It will often show up when we are in a state of indecision or fear which is stopping us from doing the things that we need to do. The number often shows up to help us overcome our fear of moving forward.
The same nudge that causes us to notice the number will prick our intuition and let us know that there is something special about this number.
It serves as a reminder that even when we are doing nothing, we are not standing still, as everything around us is moving, changing our relative position. This means that the main difference between action and inaction, is that when we act, we choose our destination, while when we stay in one place, our destination is chosen for us by other forces.
EDIT
The numbr we get to see on the plate of the parcel driver are 2583

In the Bible the number 25 represents "grace upon grace." It is composed of 20 (meaning redemption) and five (grace) or grace multiplied (5 x 5).
And the Word became flesh, and tabernacled among us (and we ourselves beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten with the Father), full of grace and truth . . . And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:14, 16 - 17, HBFV).

Hoo boi... The Forge was so GREAT !!!
Ooh man ! Yesterday , I went to see the Kendrick Bro's movie called the Forge and it is a sequel to their film, the War Room ( which I haven't seen before so I need to go watch that one ) and me and my parents watched that movie at Eaglewings Cinematics ( which is a Christian movie theatre that is owned by a devout Singaporean Christian , and that guy owns the company called Eaglewings and it is based on the verse from Isaiah 40:31 and it says '  they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint' ) . But yeah for the movie, i gotta say this movie does have some emotional parts to it, and those emotional parts really touched my spirit deep inside and it has made me cry my eyes out and it really inspires me and also my parents too , and really this movie is SO FREAKING GOOD ! And I give it a 100/10 :)
The actors themselves really are SO VERY WELL DONE , and they pull off the expressions and their emotions SO FREAKING FLAWLESSLY !
There are some humor moments here and there and man when you need to feel emotional , it is RIGHT THERE AND HOOOOOOOOOOOO BOI IT IS SO GOOD !!!!
Soundtrack , ABSOLUTELY SO GOOD TO LISTEN !!!
Cinematography is VERY WELL DONE AS WELL !!!
Although , one thing that I have to make a small nitpick, NOT on the movie though, it's just that the cinema theatre room was quite loud to say the least and I wished they could have turned it down , and that me and my parents were sitting at the very top of the cinema hall where the speakers were, and most of the time while I was watching it , i was having Airpods on the whole time while the movie is going on though ... Wish they could have lower down the music a little bit, but eh ... that's what it is when you watch a movie in a cinema huh? That is a small nitpick on that alone, but really despite the loud music that is blasting at the very top level of the theatre hall, I was having a blast watching this movie , and my soul and spirit were being challenged by it too.
For those who want to see my summary review for the Forge ( warning for spoilers for those who haven't seen it yet, Seriously , if you YOURSELF LOVE JESUS and what He did for you , I IMPLORE YOU TO PLEASE GO AND GIVE IT A WATCH !!! ) Here it is :)
There was this young teen boy but he is like a non-Christian and he was being a jerk , and he is looking for a job , and there was a guy who works for this fitness thing but it’s for like an overseas ministry , and the guy who works for this fitness place , he gets the young boy to come to Christ , and there have been some struggles with him and the dad, but the guy who runs the fitness place , tells him that just give it all to God . And that as the boy reads the holy bible , his life and behavior began to change , and during almost like the end , the fitness place has a lay off , but the boy told the people , we are pushing it until we can get al the orders out , and they delivered , and at the coffee place , the boy finds the girl who’s working at the coffee place and her dad who was working there , he came in to apologise to the both of them , and also at the post credit , the boy bumped into the girl , and the both of them are doing high school . All in all , 100/10 !
and here is what Google has to say of the summary of the movie itself:
A year out of high school with no plans for his future, a boy is challenged by his single mom and a successful businessman to start charting a better course for his life. Through the prayers of his mother and biblical discipleship from his new mentor, he begins discovering God's purpose for his life is so much more than he could hope for or imagine.
Seriously , I IMPLORE YOU GUYS TO PLEASE GO AND GIVE THE FORGE A WATCH !!! This really touched me in so many ways and that this movie has challenged me in ways man... This movie is SO FREAKING GOOD !!!! I'm sorry for all this gushing about The Forge, but it is really SO GOOD ! PLEASE GO AND GIVE IT A WATCH MAN !!!!
The movie pushes and challenges us christians to be the light in this dark and hopeless world that we live in right now, and to make disciples and to spread it everywhere in the world , and that prayer is EXTREMELY SO FREAKING POWERFUL , and forgiveness , respect , responsibility .
This movie IS SO, SO, SSSSSSOOOOOOOOOO FREAKING GOOD !!!
Seriously, PLEASE GO AND GIVE IT A WATCH !!!!
Alright , i'll stop now with me gushing over this , this is my first time doing a review on my this hatty time blog on here , and I hope you all have a blessed rest of your day and that I need to sleep right away ! So good night and I hope you all have a blessed and awesome day :)

If Dom decides to jump off a mountain, must Tom do the same anon? Ppl are not their parents. You can respect your parents' for giving you life and raising you, but that doesn't mean one shares the same values as you age. Tom's dad comes from a Catholic family, but I've never seen Tom or his siblings quote a bible verse in my life, lol.
Dom is also a comedian who isn't successful and relies on corporate gigs. To me, that means he'll say whatever that will pay him, and most conservatives pay a lot. It's no different when your fav liberal singer all of a sudden jumps on a plane and needs to go to the Middle East or India to sing for some rich man's daughters wedding, lol.
Yeah. Good points.
But I think anon must be trolling because when has Tom ever given us a reason to think he's a conservative? Lol.
Regarding his relationship with his dad, I believe Tom's parents did a great job raising the boys. However, I think Tom credits his dad so much because his dad is an insecure man, and his son's fame somehow bothers him. I don't think it's a big issue or something Dom constantly thinks about. It's very implicit and often disguised as jokes. Overall, I believe his dad feels he raised his son well and is proud of Tom, but there's a bit of jealousy in the back of his mind. Tom's humility might come from an unconscious decision to make his dad feel less inferior, but that's just me.

Most of my Christian walk I focused on the last part of this verse about resisting the devil in trying to resist Satan's attacks and accusations. One day my daughter pointed out to me that we have to pay attention to the first part of the verse first because it is most important and it literally tells you how to do the second part. "Submit yourselves therefore to God" is the actual “victory strategy!”
We cannot resist Satan in our own efforts - but that is exactly what happens when we do not first submit to God.
The key to a successful walk with God - is complete submission to God from your heart. We cannot depend on our own human resistance to the devil.
We have to let go - first of all - giving God everything. That includes everything that may give the enemy an entrance or access into our life that he may use to attack us - and anything that may be hindering or even blocking our spiritual growth. We should always even ask God to expose, and make us aware of the things we do not realize are giving open doors or windows - or causing us not to grow! Because sometimes we do not even realize!!
We have to surrender our own preconceived ideas on how to overcome sin or Satan and rely only on God's Word. His Word and prayer are the only weapons we have and they are the only weapons we need, along with the love of the truth. I literally pray every day that God will put the love of the truth in my heart.
I had to learn to actively set my attention on spiritual matters throughout my day - His Word, His music, etc. Keeping my attention fully on God, with God honoring things.
This is why I tend to post so much, because I’m constantly in the Word throughout the day - in my personal Bible, my Bible app, my strategically filtered newsfeeds, playlists, etc., and when something ministers to me I am compelled to share it, because my thinking it that it’s likely to help others as well.
“For though we live in the flesh, we do not wage war according to the flesh. The weapons of our warfare are not the weapons of the world. Instead, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We tear down arguments and every presumption set up against the knowledge of God; and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” Corinthians 10:4-6
Our main source of attack and conflict in life is not with other people, but against spiritual forces of evil (Eph, 6:12), For that reason, worldly weapons will never defeat our real enemy and demolish Satan's strongholds.
Only the weapons that God provides will do that - and they will help us with things like resisting the devil, ungodliness, and false teaching.
The love of the truth, the Word of God, and prayer are powerful weapons from God against spiritual enemies.
They will literally force demons out of our lives, wash us clean, and literally transform us.
It’s tempting to listen to, and rely on human wisdom - which can seem helpful at times, but not lasting - and it won’t have the spiritual power that comes from God's Word (which is ALIVE and transforming).
Only the power of the Holy Spirit can destroy sin's power in people's lives, and rescue them from Satan's sneaky schemes.
Our spiritual warfare is often fought on the battleground of our minds, and this requires bringing all our thoughts and desires into line with the character and purposes of Jesus, which we find in His Word. When we don’t do not know His Word it leaves us wide open to ungodly thoughts and battles that seem to just take over our lives.
Some of our thoughts originate from our own desires and imaginations - or they can come from worldly influences - but many come directly from evil forces trying to influence our thinking.
These ungodly thoughts, fears, and temptations will literally resist, oppose and set themselves up “against the knowledge of God!” (His Word!!!) But we do not have to let them hold us captive! We do have control over what we think!
It is not a sin to be tempted or have a thought. Jesus himself was tempted (Matt. 4:1-11). But giving in to temptation is a sin, and dwelling on the thought can lead to sin.
If we deliberately and foolishly expose ourselves to images and situations that we know will bring ungodly thoughts and desires, we have already crossed a boundary line and set ourselves up for failure - God promises a way of escape - but if we choose not to take His way and the escape He shows us - it is definitely sin.
When a thought or temptation comes into our mind, we have to immediately take hold of that thought before it goes any further into our spirit and consider how it measures up to the standards of God's Word. We cannot dwell on the thought - we have to catch it and replace it with the truth of God’s Word.
I will say “No!” Out loud, and then I will say out loud “God please take that out of my heart and replace it with Your character!” And I speak His Word that applies against that thought out loud as well. (Of course if I’m in public I will either speak under my breath or in my mind!) it’s no good scaring people lol!
I always ask for His strength, especially if I’m having trouble with being bombarded with a certain thought, or a train of thought.
Like: "God, here it is; take it. You already dealt with this as you suffered for my sin. I need your help with this issue, and I submit my thoughts to you."
Philippians 4:8 says that "whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable - if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things."
These kinds of thoughts will actually guard our mind against ungodly desires and help us say "No!" to the devil, temptation and sin.
This is how we “set our mind” (and thoughts) on God, His Word, and eternal things, rather than on earthly things.
We have to be careful what our eyes see and our ears hear, because these are the absolutely powerful doors to our mind.
“Those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh; but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace” Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭5‬-‭6‬‬

Where Is Your Sword?
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ 2 Chronicles 15:7 But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded.”
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
========================
+ Ephesians 6:17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM HOLDING MY SWORD
I AM STUDYING MY SWORD
I AM HEARING GOD
I AM PATIENTLY WAITING
********************************
THOUGHTS:
=======================
Where is your sword? When someone carries a weapon, they keep it near and dear to them. Sometimes, people will place theirs in a sword belt or holster. They don’t want to be without it because they know if they don’t have it, they will have to worry about fighting without it, so they always carry it everywhere; where is your sword?
I can tell you I have a physical copy of the word wherever I go, whether at work, on my desk, or my nightstand. It's near me because I want it at arm's length. Sure, we can have the bible apps, but it's nothing like the physical copy of the Bible; some call me old school, call me whatever you want, it doesn’t matter, but in my opinion,  the best copy to have is always the physical bible, and if I can't get to the copies, I use my app, but my sword is everywhere.
It’s different from having a sword (bible) and allowing it to lay on your nightstand or the coffee table; some only use it when going to church or bible study. No, that’s not what we are supposed to do every day; we must pull out our word and read it, and not just read it but eat the word of God, and you'll hear me use that word a lot: when we eat the word of God, we are taking our time.
We are digesting the word of God spiritually, applying it, and allowing it to mold and shape our hearts and minds, and that’s what the word is telling us to do: allow the sword to penetrate us.
• Psalm  119:105: Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
•Matthew 4:4 But he answered, “It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’”
•Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not.
The word of God will place a light on our path. It will show us the right way to do things, and it will also show us what God intended for us in our life. We are also told here that we can't live by bread or physical food; we only supposed to live by the word of God, and that everything,in this world will pass away, but the truth, which is the word of God will not pass, that’s why we must read every day because how will we know the word if we don’t pick it up, how will we defend ourselves if we don’t have our sword near our heart, that means we aren’t meditating on it.
Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to everything written. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
We must meditate on it day and night because, without it, we will be in the dark, and there is no light in the dark. God wants us to pick our word up and enjoy him teaching us; some of us don’t enjoy it because it knocks on our door. It shows us what we are doing is wrong, so some refuse to do it. We refuse to allow it to change us, but we must be righteous to make it to heaven. The word of God says that ONLY the righteous will make it in.
Joshua 1:8 says do not allow the word to depart from your lips; meditate on it day and night, so then if it’s there, we will be careful of what we do, and we will be successful because we obey the word of God and we are allowing Gods will to be in our life but once again the question is asked where is your sword, a lot of us carry things that are unnecessary in our bags in our purses. Still, the one thing we get is the word of God. We must study it because one day, we might not have our Bibles or the apps, and when this happens, we won’t worry or fret because we know we have it down on the inside. Study to show yourself approval, know God more, and be near his presence.
***Today, we learned that we need to study our word, and it doesn’t matter if we place it on our coffee table on Psalm 91; it does no good for us, but what does us some good is when we pick it up, and we study it every day, some of us only study when we are at church but what about in between commercial breaks when we are watching Hulu, Peacock, we must utilize our times carefully. Better yet, how about turning our phones and TVs off and focusing on God? Psalm 119:11 says, I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.
We store up the word of God so we won’t sin against God; we store up the word so we can know his will, and when we forget his will and study, we leave ourselves vulnerable to the sneaks and traps of the enemy. He will take any foothold he can to get us to deny God's love and by getting his people not to study the word of God. In Hosea it says my people perish because of lack of knowledge. Because we refuse to study, we refuse to stay equipped; we procrastinate like we’re studying the word, but we’re not; some of us will say we read the Bible for an hour. Some of us will say we read the Bible for 30 minutes, but it doesn’t matter how long you read it; it’s about how you apply it to your lives. Are you applying the word God to your lives? The question is, where is your sword? ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, we thank you for everything; we praise you for mercy and grace; Father, forgive us of the sins we have done; we thank you for your love. Lord, help us to be more like you; lord, give us strength every day to read our word; we ask that the Holy Spirit teach us and that we become more open to reading. Lord, we are sorry for everything we have done; we ask you to help us on our walk with you , and help us to hear you when you speak in Jesus' Name, amen

But "he who glories, let him glory in the LORD." For not he who commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends. — 2 Corinthians 10:17-18
If we are members of the church of Jesus Christ, if we have roles to play in the church and the kingdom of God, and if we achieve some success in these endeavors, then to whom should we give the glory? And, since the word translated as "glory" in our verse for today literally means "boast," who should we boast about? The answer, of course, is the LORD. It is the LORD who makes all this possible and it is the LORD who should be given the credit.
On occasion, the Apostle Paul would boast about the things that he accomplished in the church (2 Corinthians 11:16; 2 Corinthians 12:5). He did this, however, not to lift himself up in the eyes of church members, but to keep them from being led astray by certain false apostles that had infiltrated the church. Further, he never made any claim that what he accomplished was done on his own apart from the LORD. Indeed, he maintained that God's power was made manifest despite his weaknesses (2 Corinthians 12:7-10).
In order to bolster his teaching on this, Paul quotes the prophet Jeremiah: "he who glories, let him glory in the LORD" (Jeremiah 9:23-24). Anyone who gratuitously commends or boasts about himself is not approved by God. A person who does that is fundamentally mistaken about our place in the world. We are not independent agents who deserve all the credit for whatever we accomplish in life. We are mere "earthen vessels" that God uses in order to make His power and majesty known (2 Corinthians 4:7-12).
Further, it is whom the LORD commends that is approved by Him. The LORD delights in those who understand Him and know what He does in the earth. The LORD delights in the humble who give Him the credit. They are the ones that He approves of and they are the ones that He commends. The LORD likes to use the humble to accomplish His purposes in the earth because He knows that they will give credit where credit is due.
There is no need to boast about yourself and what you have accomplished. If you glory in the LORD and boast about Him, then He will commend you and approve of you in the eyes of the world.

True Repentance
Sometimes life can feel like one big performance. We can get caught up in pleasing people, becoming successful, and attaining our greatest dreams. While those things are all good, what happens when we fail?
Most people go hard on themselves when they don't live up to their own expectations, or the expectations others have set for them. Can you remember a time you messed up? Did you feel guilt, shame, or even condemnation?
God’s Word talks about this very thing. That’s because God knows that we are not perfect, and that we will mess up in life. But when Paul talks about sorrow that comes from God, he talks about it very differently.
In 2 Corinthians, Paul says that godly sorrow doesn’t lead to condemnation, shame, or guilt, but rather it leads to repentance and restoration. When we look to Jesus, we are reminded that He took on all of our shame and guilt on the cross. This means we don’t have to carry the shame that Jesus already carried.
When we mess up, our first response should be to go to God and remind ourselves of the truth of the cross. While earthly sorrow pushes us down, godly sorrow brings us to Jesus where we can know we are forgiven and made new.
So while we may still mess up and fail, we can be confident that we are continually being made new by Jesus. God’s love and forgiveness never change.
Take some time to think about the love of God and His forgiveness in your life. Remind yourself that you are a new creation empowered by the Spirit of God to walk in new life. Write down one or two ways that you can remind yourself of these truths throughout your week.
