a/n: hi anon! i decided to use what you suggested, hopefully your okay with that and how i wrote the story :) and honestly just writing this i'm getting more and more excited for their actual debut hehe <3

also i had so much fun writing this especially the interview part lol. this is the first time i've ever finished writing someone in one sitting!! i was so into this <3

being an idol was something you always wanted to become after seeing celebrities on tv sing and dance. you were luckily to be accepted as a trainee in a company and trained for a good 2 years before officially making your debut as the lead vocalist. you were very loved by your fans for being both talented and having a warm personality.

right after you debuted, your first music show appearance would be on music bank. your group was one of two groups chosen to be interviewed by the mc's eunchae and chaemin. needless to say that you were thrilled.

when your group members were all done getting ready with their styling, you were then escorted to the room where your interview was going to be held. that is where you met zerobaseone, the group who was joining you for that particular interview.

one of the boys signalled for the other members to be prepared to introduce themselves. "1, 2...d1, be the one! hello, we are zerobaseone!" they all exclaimed then bowed afterwards.

your group followed by your own introduction and the moment you looked up from bowing, you made eye contact with the guy standing in the centre. you had no idea what his name was or who he even was but you felt your heart start beating.

"we recently debuted with the album youth in the shade, we hope you have lots of interest in it!" the boy in the centre said. you nodded and thanked them as they handed their album to you that was signed.

your manager took the album aside and you did the same exchange with them by handing them your debut album. that's when you were called for the interview and you all stood there, excited but nervous at being able to promote your group on tv.

as they counted down from ten, the interview began and eunchae began speaking. "chaemin! did you hear? there's two new groups in town who are making a big splash in the hot month of july!"

chaemin then nodded, "of course! their hot debut is definitely a hit, let's meet them! welcome, zerobaseone and (group name)!"

once again your group introduced themselves to the viewers and zerobaseone did the same. the cheers you both received were such a indescribable feeling, seeing all the fans with banners and lightsticks really made it seem like your dream came true.

afterwards the interview went excellent! your leader took over most of the talking and you all made a great impression. but even throughout the interview, you couldn't stop thinking of the boy standing in the centre. he shined so bright even with his other eight members surrounding him.

your group headed back to your waiting room and you were the last member trailing behind everyone. but just as you were about to head in, you felt a presence linger behind you.

"um, excuse me?" you turned to see that boy you noticed from earlier behind you. his face looked so...perfect. like everything was sculpted to perfection. his downwards smile when you noticed him made your cheeks heat up. keep your calm (name)!

"oh! hello!" you bowed. he did the same and did the honours of introducing himself first, "my name is zhang hao! i'm the centre of zerobaseone. i just wanted to say that i really liked your debut song." oh so that's what his name was, zhang hao. it sounds pretty just like him.

"oh wow, thank you! my name is (name). i watched your debut as well and i was very impressed!"

he then shyly looked to his other member standing behind him before turning back to you, "is it okay if we can shoot a tiktok video together?" was this really happening?! the cute centre boy of his group asked you to film a tiktok with him?! you couldn't say no and followed him to the iconic pair of staircases that nearly every idol danced in front of for collabs at music bank.

"are you ready?" he smiled, his other member from before was filming it for him and before you knew it, the music began. you became fully immersed into the song as if it was your own debut and put your effort into making your cover good.

when the music finished, you once again bowed to him but it wasn't until that you were about to return to your waiting room that zhang hao stopped you once again.

"yes?" you asked. he seemed flustered but took his phone out and opened the contact app, "um, i want to get to know you better and get close. can we exchange numbers?"

his other member began chuckling to himself as zhang hao sent him a glare but retained his focus to you, once again showing his downward smile.

at first you were worried about the stacked july comeback lineup but now you were so thankful that you got to debut in the same month as him.

"of course! here, i'll put my name and number." he handed you his phone and you did exactly that.

"your name is (name)?" he said while staring at the contact, you nodded, "that's me!"

"thank you! i hope we can keep in touch!" he said while waving goodbye and heading back to his waiting room with his member who was filming the tiktok.

"me too! have a good day!" you responded. you went the opposite way and just then you heard his other member say something to him.

"hyung has a crush~" they said, zhang hao playfully nudged their shoulder.

"stop it!" you couldn't help but giggle. now you just had to wait for him to message you first, hopefully this encounter turns into more.

Oh yeah, in my head Robin’s coming out swiftly derails into an argument between her and her Mom because “you would disown me, don’t even try to pretend-“

I love the idea of Steve discovering she’s a Summer of love baby and uttering the phrase (or mimicking Melissa calling her a “love child”) when he wants to to shut up.

I also like to imagine, that as exams are coming up, Steve starts coming over and doing Robin’s chores for her in an effort to maximise the time they can spend together. Robin’s parents are convinced that she has bullied him into this somehow and, while initially impressed with her, are getting sick of coming into the kitchen to see Steve trying to pretend he wasn’t washing dishes two seconds ago.

Also, I know you’re a fan of Hop adopting Steve, but hear me out; Robin’s parents occasionally stand in for Steve’s (hospital etc) and Richard amuses himself by telling people they’re Irish twins (he makes himself laugh and that’s what matters). A couple of times he refers to them as “the twins” to Melissa, but it’s when he refers to them as “my twins” in conversation with someone that knows he only has one kid he realises - they kinda have two kid now.

Alternatively, they’re eating dinner, there’s an argument and when Steve buts in at the wrong moment Melissa or Robert automatically (bc they were expecting it to be Robin who was going to argue back) snap “go to your room!”

And Steve, looking out upon, gathers his plate and his glass and without hesitating takes his dinner to eat in Robin’s room (or the guest room, is their house is big enough).

Robin’s only reaction to yell “You’re 19 you Dingus, they can’t boss you around like that anymore!”

Robin arguing with her mom that she would hav totally disowned her and Melissa going "I'd only disown you if you joined the military and committed more war crimes that normal!! and even then it's iffy!! We just wanted you to feel safe!!" while Steve (moral support for Robin) and Mr. Buckley stand off to the side.

Mr. Buckley walking in of Steve looking like he got caught with his hand in the cookie jar but he's actually vacuuming the drapes(have never been vacuumed before bc that's a rich people thing to do) is so funny. when asked why he's doing them for her if she didn't blackmail him or something he says "because if I do them when she's at school then she doesn't have to do them and we have more time to hang out 🥺" a la patrick "wait fo you to get back" star.

Listen okay. I am actually a fan of a cold war happening in Hawkins between a select group of adult who are all vying for being seen as parental figures to steve. Hop, Claudia Henderson and the Sinclairs (they're a team), and the Buckleys are all glaring at each other and inviting Steve for dinner and asking if he needs anything. they all think they have the Most Claim over the role lol. Steve is unaware of why everytime he says he's having dinner with Hop Mrs. Henderson invites him over a few days later, or that he says Mrs. Buckley showed hi how to troubleshoot a clogged or leaky sink Hop suggests they go fishing the next weekend, or why Richard Buckley offered to teach him his Nonna's tiramisu recipe when told Sue Sinclair baked date squares with him....

I don't really think steve and robin having a very sibling-like relationship but a few people half-jokingly calling them the twins is funny. like it's their Team Name. they aren't siblings but they're twins do you see this. Will and El are THEE Wonder Twins but Steve and robin are the ""wonder twins"" am i making sense.

I love how adorably you draw Xero. For me it is difficult to draw him so expressively, so how do you do it?

To be completely honest, I’ve been drawing Xero for like 2 years now or like a year and a half. Practicing has made me understand how I want to portray his character and the personality he has (or that I’ve given to him) in a way I don’t really acknowledge it, like, my hands know how to but my mind doesn’t- if that makes any sense lol

I still struggle to draw him from time to time, sometimes I feel like I do the same doodle lol. I guess exaggerating face features and moving them around is my way of doing it. Like I move his eyes a lot, every doodle of him has different eyes. I also add that little “brow” line on top to indicate the feeling better (just that one line can change the way he looks! which is impressive and a ur scary-) Playing around with poses too, even if you are just doing from the chest up twisting the body around helps, not just making him stiff in a straight line, certain poses can reflect someone’s personality! Like the way you stand is different from the way others stand (some out all their weight into just one leg, some have their hands crossed, etc etc) and that can show the way you act.

Sometimes I draw a little fang to show mischief for example! When his eyes are straight it means tiredness but when they are more tilted they look more angry, another example!

Im not a big expert on art and it’s hard for me to explain stuff to others but I hope this helps! We all start drawing something in a way you might not like, but slowly you get good at it! dw you’ll find your way!!

Ngl this made me look through my old doodles, so here’s how much I’ve grown to draw Xero!

These 2 doodle were done in November of 2022. The way I’ve drawn him has changed a lot actually- I hadn’t drawn him that much so these do feel a bit awkward- I hadn’t placed my art style on him yet, I was just using the in-game design.

Here are three others that I had done around 2023. I was getting more used to drawing him, tho I was still improving at drawing! The emotion I give him is expressed through his eyes cause he doesn’t really have a mouth lol- different shapes of eyes can help change what he’s feeling for me so yee.

And these are the last doodles I’ve done for him, literally drew these yesterday. I feel so comfortable drawing him now cause he’s just so funky and silky. His helmet is so hard to get use to drawing tho, I still find it a bit hard to draw his side view but hey I’m trying! (Also I tried redrawing the doodle of Xero on a throne-)

Tbh I’m really happy that you think he looks expressive!!! I always tell myself I gotta add more emotion to him and not letting him have an emotionless face, so I’ve been forcing myself to add more and more feeling slowly lol.

I don’t really know the exact way of adding more expression tho, kinda just guessing why it may look like that. Sometimes, I just do it. So, keep practicing! It’s what every artist tells other artists but it’s true, sadly lmfao.

Recently started doing spin classes! They are fun, would recommend! But lol, I couldn't get spin instructor Mikasa out of my mind and then I thought, I don't need to start another AU and it sort of fits with size queen Mika, so why not!

It’s been a whirlwind and Eren honestly doesn’t know how he got talked into this, but Historia is standing next to him, practically bouncing in place in a pair of tight little biker shorts and a baby pink bra. 

Her eyes are as bright as stars, he can practically feel the excitement emanating from her, feeding off all of the other participant’s energy.  “I can’t wait for you to meet her! For you to enjoy the class, it’s amazing you’re gonna love it!” 

“I can’t believe you talked me into this,” Eren grumbles, trying his very best to keep his eyes from wandering around the lobby as they wait for the instructor to open up the door to the darkened spin classroom. She’s a friend of Historia’s, Mika or something? He’s never met her, but Historia’s been raving about her for the past month or so, and he hasn’t shut her up because he’s been sulking.  He's still pissed about his most recent rejection, actually, his only rejection. 

Just the thought pisses him off, the hot grey-eyed girl rejecting him simply because his dick was of all things, too big?  Unhinged. 

He needs to move on, and there’s no place better than a spin class made up of almost entirely women, most of them his age, and with bodies that are consistently stealing his attention.  There’s a blonde girl a few feet away who keeps making eyes at him as she locks up her locker, and Eren is seriously considering dropping off his number after class. But even as he considers it he knows he won’t, because as humiliated as he is about it all, no matter what he does he cannot for the life of him get that girl out of his head. The lithe little body, the way she’d spoken to him, all soft and sweet, the plush of her ass cupped in his hands as he’d pressed her up against the wall, how she’d tasted…

“Eren!” Historia snaps, “Stop ogling girls and put your biking shoes on, it’s almost time to go in.”  Ugh. 

“Fine,” he groans, putting his own sneakers in a locker, and putting on the weird biking cleats they’d handed him upon entrance to the little studio.  He’s never been too particularly keen on biking, but with the way Historia’s been raving about the spin classes and the fact that Ymir had firmly refused to go ever, he’d been her next victim. And like any other sap he’d ended up saying yes after some puppydog eyes and a promise of lunch if he didn’t like it. 

The door to the room opens up and Eren follows Historia in dutifully, where she takes him to two bikes in the back row, helping him set the proper height and clipping his shoes into the pedals. 

The room is large, two rows of bikes set up on different levels, all facing a large mirror and one bike in the centre, raised on a higher platform where Eren can see Historia’s friend, their instructor setting up. He can barely see her in the dark of the studio, the only light provided by the backlit mirrors and the array of moving LED bulbs overhead that move with different patterns and colours every few seconds, barely providing enough light to see much at all as they glow blue.  It's a cool atmosphere he’ll give them that, and chilly as the fans sweep by him, but he’s sure to have one hell of a workout, he can already tell he’s going to suffer.  The instructor peppy as people filter in, greeting everyone with cheerful ‘Hello’s’ and sentiments about being mindful and girlpower, making the most out of their workout, all that usual personal trainer crap he’s used to.  So far, as he warms up on the bike, pedaling absently, he’s not super impressed with her. He doesn’t know what Historia was raving about.  But then, as the rest of the class gets set up on their bikes, the overhead LED’s colour yellow, finally providing enough light for him to really see the girl Historia’s obsessed with.  And to his horror, he knows exactly who it is, that pretty face engraved in the deepest parts of his brain, that lithe little body that haunts his dreams, perky tits that are compressed tightly in her sports bra, the line of her abs dipping into her tight biker shorts, fuck.  “Good morning riders! I’m Mikasa and I’ll be your instructor this morning,” she tells the room airily, speaking over the mic attached to her headset as she starts riding, “I hope you’re ready for a great workout, let’s rock this Friday together!”  Eren proceeds to have one of the most grueling workouts he’s ever had in his life, he doesn’t even have time to have dirty thoughts about the hot instructor he wants so badly to fuck it’s been haunting him for weeks. No, he’s too busy suffering as her cheery voice tells him to push harder, turn the resistance on the bike up, pedal more, just one more race!

By the time the class is over, and the lights are being turned on again, he’s a pathetic slump on the bike, struggling to unclip his cleats from the pedals and Historia cackles as she helps him remove himself. Here he thought he was in shape, how very humbling. 

“I’m gonna go say hi to Mikasa,” Historia pipes up as Eren steps off of his bike, grabbing for his towel to wick away some of the embarrassing amount of sweat he’s got going on right now.  He nods at her, barely listening, his eyes too intent on said girl now standing at the front of the room, slowly extricating herself from her headset. 

Mikasa.

What a name, beautiful, elegant, just like her, it suits her perfectly.  Mikasa, the one who got away. 

He’s hit with the insane urge to say it out loud, let it flow from his lips, knows the edge of it would be addicting, that he’d want to say it all the time, for the rest of his life. 

Eren presses his lips together tightly as he approaches the front of the class where Historia is excitedly praising Mikasa for a great class. 

Get your shit together Yeager! 

He’s about to confront the girl of his dreams, see her again for the first time since she’d rejected him in the cold of his apartment for having an above average sized dick.

It’s show time.  He sidles up next to his blonde friend, making himself known and Mikasa’s eyes flick to him immediately, those familiar greys coloured with soft curiosity. 

He waits for a moment as she takes in his presence, Historia saying something next to him, probably some kind of introduction and he keeps waiting, hoping, expecting something, anything, some kind of reaction.  And yet there is nothing, no hint of familiarity in her eyes as she thrusts out her hand, a pretty smile overtaking her face, flashing pretty white teeth in the dim light of the room, “Hi, I’m Mikasa, nice to meet you Eren.” 

She has no fucking clue who he is, not even a hint of recollection. 

He takes her hand numbly, his much larger hand grasping firmly over hers, gripping warm soft palms, a bit sweaty with the heat of the workout, delicate unblemished fingers, such a stark contrast to his own. 

He swallows, his throat suddenly dry as he warbles out some pathetic response, “Nice to meet you Mikasa.”  In some ways, saying her name is a relief, but in others it’s a death sentence, because as the musical ‘a’s slip from his lips, her eyes sparkling as he pronounces it so perfectly on the first try, he gives a name to the monster that haunts his dreams. The pretty little five foot seven waif of a girl that could simultaneously knock him on his ass and be crushed in his arms has a name. 

Mikasa Ackerman, she tells him, batting her eyelashes and gushing over the fact that he’s one of the first boys to attend her classes. 

Here she is, the beautiful lithe little Spin instructor that is going to ruin his life.

Well it only took me a few months, but I finally got around to beating Pokemon Abstract- a fan game made as part of Relic Castle's Game Jam #9 back in August of 2023. The short and sweet of it is that during their game jams, groups of fan devs will team up to create a fan game in a small window of time- this one being completed in about... 2 weeks, I think?

Pokemon Abstract definitely doesn't feel that way, though. It's understandably not perfect, but given the quality, I'd say it's up there with some fan games that have had a few years of development. The big appeal of this fan game is that it actually supports an open world format with adjusting levels in accordance to your progress. So it's not like Scarlet and Violet where you can technically go wherever but gyms are stuck in certain levels- literally you can challenge whatever gym you want in whatever order you want, your progress only hindered by what traversal items you've obtained, such as an ax for cutting, surfboard for surfing, climbing gear for rock climb, etc.

The fakemon in the game are also pretty decent looking, although there's only a small handful, so you're more than likely going to be using oldies. That being said, there's a pretty great variety present in the game with even Megas returning, and new ones at that.

My one gripe is that I think you should be given the flying taxi MUCH sooner in the game, because there's times you'll have to progress through the entire map again to get somewhere you need to go on the opposite side.

Otherwise, fun game! Again, very impressive that this was done in about 2 weeks. Serious kudos. Fun characters, fun adventure, I'd love to see something like this in the future again but with more time invested into original music and more fakemon.

As for my team:

Mega Rusalkat (Water/Ground cat mermaid)- My starter. Like Uranium, the starters only evolve once and get 1 mega evolution. Rusalkat was a pretty fun one to use and super strong, with its mega having the ability Sap Sipper to nullify the Achilles heel that would be Grass types. Really tanky, and also capable of sweeping.

Yusagi (Ice bunny)- My first capture, and also the one that never evolved. Despite that, she was actually the strongest in a lot of cases. Potentially the weakest, but has also wiped out huge chunks of tough teams with a literal snowball effect of Ice Ball. Known for slaying dragons quiet easily, and was the fastest to grow to level 100.

Veewiweev (Bug/Dragon, the Girafarig looking guy)- what I suspect is a convergent species of Farigiraf. One of my early game captures and also very reliable. I really relied on it when fighting everything from dragons, psychics, dark types, even fairies in some cases.

Goober/Arcanine (fire)- Another early game catch, and although he had a ruff beginning, he easily became the most important team member towards the end. With an arsenal to deal with grass, ice, steel, ghost, psychic, ghost, dragon, and fighting types, plus extreme speed, he was often the last standing member of my team and saved me during the final battles of Team Eclipse and the Elite 4.

Gaga/Espathra (psychic)- Yet another early game catch, but ultimately replaced before the last 3 gyms (aka a few days ago lol). It didn't win much, but it came in handy when I needed it most. I felt bad about boxing it.

Gengalita/Mega Gengar (ghost/poison)- my fav mega and a lovely find when I came back to the game after a few months. Gengar was actually caught a day after the rest of these guys back in November, and ultimately became a glass cannon when I finally got her mega. It was useful for a lot of cases- most frustrating was the fact I didn't get a single poison type move for it. Well, in any case, it had psychic and electric moves for additional coverage.

Narlgrimm/Grimmsnarl (dark/fairy)- A late game change up, but a pretty smart one for dealing with more ghosts, dragons, etc- surprisingly it was my main FIGHTING type user with drain punch.

For my trainer sprite, I actually edited gen 3 sprites like Abstract did for the most part, and adjusted my usual character head to gen 3 size. Its a neat little dude.

The rest of the sprites are found within the game files itself and I claim no ownership to them.

Think I might try to finish out Insurgence next

hiiii! So I dont know if it was the same in every show but I saw LOTS of guys during my Louis show in Bogota lol I was actually sitted between two guys that were there by themselves.. I thought they were together and asked if they wanted me to change seats with one of them so they could be together but they didnt know eachother lol anyway I was impressed by that, some were there with their gf or bf but lots seemed to be fans! Also lots of people around my age (29) and lots of people under 18! Some girls asked me if I was Also a Harry fan but like they asked like they were afraid I was gonna think something bad/was gonna be annoyed by their question and that was like a hmm moment to me bc it means they felt like Larries are no longer majority of Louis fans or that they have met some Louis fans that dont like H

that’s a cool observation! yeah i’ve seen an uptick in dudes going to louis shows too and i was also amazed at how young some of the fans are at his shows too. standing in line for a few of my dates, we talked to a handful of 14-15 yr olds (a lot who hadn’t gone to a concert before louis 🥺) which is neat for him to be around as long as he has and to be picking up the younger demographic. like you said, there’s a big chunk that is below 18. that’s not always an easy feat. really leans into the longevity and power of his career going forward!!

maybe they were just nervous! you never know what you’re gonna get when you ask a fan at a show how they feel about some of the other boys rip but i’m glad you had a good time ✨

Thoughts on Raw?

Hi anon! Sorry, I know it’s been a while!

I know the ask referred to the Raw from the week before, but I turned that off at some point and only caught up by watching some clips over the course of the week. So I’ll talk about this week’s episode instead, if you don’t mind, cause I actually sat down and watched it.

Short answer: An overall solid episode imo and one of the better ones they’ve done recently, I think. I didn’t love it, but I also didn’t hate it. They started some good new feuds, teased some development in already existent ones, had some solid filler segments. It was pretty much what I wanted from a post PLE show. 

Match by match (segment by segment) under the cut:

I’m a bit salty that Wade is doing commentary on Raw instead of SD. I like watching SD a lot more, so I wish the better team of commentators didn’t get switched to RAW, obviously (sorry, but I can't stand Kevin Patrick on commentary, he needs more training and a lot of it). But then maybe it’ll make sitting through Raw a little easier. 

Opening with Cody - do I have to say anything at this point? Nope. I’ll admit I was excited when Seth walked out (can we take a moment to appreciate that killer outfit please? 🔥🔥🔥), cause these two put on some banger matches in the past. TJD interrupting, Sami making the save and this turning into another 6-Man-Tag? That pretty much killed my excitement though. I always love love love seeing Sami as we all know ❤️ but not as a third wheel for whoever needs it that week.

Fatal 4-Way #1 Contender: This was a BANGER match! Loved it! Highlight of the night for me. It made all the competitors look good and I love love love me a rare Gable win (especially in front of his home crowd and his son! and that celebration? THE CUTEST OMG). Realistically we all know that he’s not gonna beat Gunther, but this was a feel-good moment though.

Tbh I didn’t really care much for the Cody/Seth relationship drama and Sami deserves much better booking, but them agreeing to do it for Kevin was kinda cute.

Shinsuke vs. Bronson: These two will always put a decent match together, both are very impressive, but there were a few scary looking moments/botches in that one. (I personally feel like this „feud“ is getting a little old by now, but apparently Shinsuke is moving on to bigger and better things now and we love to see it!)

Patiently waiting for that Raquel/ Rhea feud to really take off. They deserve a good feud! The attack at before the Main Event was 👀 I’m excited!

What even was that Kaiser/Maxxine/Otis backstage thing? I’m just- 

Becky Promo: I know you’re tired Becky, so am I. There’s just so much frustration around this feud. This could have been one of the all-time-great feuds of this era, but they completely fumbled it, took away all the spotlight it deserved and made it feel mediocre at best. Becky, Trish (and Zoey) have taken whatever crap they were handed and worked with it the best they could, but something just doesn’t work here. WWE missed out big time (no pun intended) with this. I hope they’ll give it proper time and a proper sendoff next week or at the next PLE. These women deserve so much better.

I’m not gonna say much on the whole JD McDonagh thing. I don’t want him in TJD, I don’t want him around at all, that’s it. That guy is right there on my shit list with Theory and Riddle. No further comment.

I LOVE that delicious tension building between Finn and Damian, they’re doing a very very good job with that (of course it’s the briefcase’s fault, of course lol). When shit hits the fan eventually, these two are gonna have a banger feud with banger matches, no doubt (and I wouldn’t even mind it being for the WHC once Seth had a good long run with it, both Finn and Damian would deserve it!)

Stark vs. Baszler: Y’all know by now that I have lots of love for Shayna 💕 and I thought the match was really good! These two are great workers imo. (I was a little distracted by Becky and her lemonade though, cause that? Girl, I got you! Go get their pathetic asses for doing you so dirty with that terrible booking! YES!!! Honestly, at this point it wouldn’t surprise me if Becky walks away once her contract is done.) They teased Shayna vs. Becky later on and I’m interested, even though I really need Becky vs. Rhea to happen more)

SAMI GETTING HURT/ BEING INJURED IS MY WORST FUCKING NIGHTMARE 😭😭😭 God I was devastated. I hope he’ll recover soon (same for Kevin) and that they’ll receive some better booking upon their return.

While I don’t like Cody, I love that the tension with Seth is still there and I’m hoping to see another round of that feud at some point. He is nervous beforehand, not because he is afraid of the rides, but because he doesn't know if he will be comfortable in these surroundings.

This is a bit of my personal view, but Chongyun seems like someone who is prone to experience sensory overload quite fast?

Amusement parks draw in a huge number of people, meaning his senses will have a lot of imput to deal with the entire time. He worries that it might become too much for him, that he will leave you disappointed when he needs to take a breather away from the busy heart of the park, that you will come to the conclusion that he isn't fun to go out with.

Still, he decides to risk it, only to find out that it's totally worth the risk!

He actually likes the elated atmosphere that hangs in the park and as long as it doesn't get too crowded around him he is totally fine.

Most rides aren't all that intimidating, he also comes to find, and the excessive music and flashing lights add to the fun factor, so he can bear it pretty well.

Okay, maybe he isn't too big of a fan of the more extreme rides, only hopping in occasionally if he knows you enjoy them but please give him a bit of time so he can ground again after being shaken up by that one rollercoaster with multiple loopings, freefalls and corkscrews.

With Chongyun, there are quite a few moments where you just retreat to the more quiet areas of the park, to sit and relax for a bit while you eat and drink something and just relish in the small break from the liveliness.

Oh, give him cotton candy. The blue one because Chongyun with blue cotton candy is adorable for obvious reasons.

You two also decide to eat churros but I speak from personal experience that it takes quite a while before the nauseous feeling disappears after eating them so you spend a lot of time skipping past all the rides and just walking through the park hand-in-hand.

He preferably goes home long before the amusement park closes its doors for the day, but you convince him to stay longer by telling him how the park will empty out as it grows darker. Having the park almost all for yourselves brings a sheen of peace over the area, and it's a good way to process all the events of that day before you go home.

Yo, Beidou absolutely loves it here.

The buzz in the air, the liveliness, the contagious joy shared between all the visitors, the rowdy rides that are sure to set the adrenaline pumping; yeah, that's her definition of entertainment.

You're bound to have the time of your life when you visit an amusement park with Beidou.

She's so cool!! Truly not afraid, not even the tiniest bit nervous at all, for any of the rides. This woman is probably the calmest person in the queue between all the nervously fidgeting people. Even the waiting time doesn't really bother her, I think she's pretty patient and only thinks of it as an opportunity to talk to you and not as a waste of time.

"That was quite tame," she states after getting off the most intense ride in the entire park.

You are standing next to her, trying to process what kind of rabid storm you just went through as you thoroughly wonder how Beidou is so unfazed.

Is there even a ride that can impress this woman to begin with? I honestly don't think there is. Nothing can stop her.

Maybe it's just a thing in my country, but a lot of the amusement parks here have pirate-themed rides and of course Beidou would gravitate towards them.

Her excitement is so contagious and you too enjoy the buzz of adrenaline as you go from ride to ride though you are a lot more nervous than Beidou lol.

She also really values the moments of leisure, though. Taking a seat near the arcade or near the food stalls, taking a break from the adrenaline and enjoying the livelihood around you.

Yeah, she still favors the bustling parts of the park over the quiet parts, but if you tell her you need a break from the chaos she'll listen to you without second thought and find a calm spot with you.

In these moments, she still makes sure to have fun and the two of you enjoy some light-hearted conversations and a good laugh together while sharing a drink. Even now, there won't be a dull moment with Beidou around.

≡;- ꒰ XIAO ꒱

He genuinely doesn't see the appeal of amusement parks. Those big metallic structures? The loud noises? The lights that flash everywhere? Mortals have peculiar ways of passing time, he thinks, following you through the park with his hands buried in his pockets stubbornly.

Don't worry, he isn't completely appalled by the idea of being here. The joy in your eyes when he said yes is all worth it, he just isn't expecting to have fun at all and his expression is a bit sour.

Maaaybe his mood is a bit grumpy at the beginning of the day as well, but it is quick to dissipate since your joy and excitement is pretty contagious and Xiao loves it when you look so happy – how can he possibly stay grouchy when you are smiling like that?

It's fairly easy to convince him to join you for rides, and it doesn't really matter which rides you line up for because he follows you anyway. If this peculiar form of mortal entertainment makes you happy, then he shall partake in these activities as well.

Xiao seems quite unfazed by the rides, and even if he is nervous at all, he doesn't show it in the slightest bit. At the same time, he doesn't really get why you are nervous because you're the one who wants to take the ride?? Still, finds it adorable but won't admit it, just quietly tells you that nothing bad will happen and emphasizes that he won't hesitate to confront whoever is responsible for this place when something does go wrong.

His protectiveness makes you laugh softly – of course you know nothing is going to happen, it's just the adrenaline and excitement that makes you a bit jittery.

It's not long before he comes to find that he kind of likes the adrenaline rush that awakens during rollercoaster rides.

"Hey, Xiao," you call out, taking his hand in yours and using your other hand to point at a specific ride ahead of you. "Wanna try that rollercoaster?"

Even though he replies with a gruff "fine, whatever," you can see the excited glint in his amber eyes and it's the cutest thing ever.

He still isn't a fan of the crowd and all the flashing lights and chaos that surrounds you, but he endures it for you and now that he has found his enjoyment as well, it bothers him less and less and against your expectations, you end up staying until closing hours.

Also, please take this guy with you on the ferris wheel at night.

You softly take his hand and watch his awestruck gaze when you reach the top of the ride, where you have a wide panorama view over the almost fairytale-like scenery that stretches out afore you.

He is speechless, the sea of tiny lights reflecting in his eyes. He turns to you and for the first time that day, or maybe even for the first time in a while, he offers you a grateful smile.

Honestly, I think amusement park dates are a reoccuring event with Thoma, simply because he truly enjoys going there with you and it's his goal to visit all the parks across the country together.

Expect to be there from opening 'til closing hours!

Cool guy who isn't all that intimidated by any of the rides but exits the more extreme ones with wobbly legs and a look on his face that says "what the heck just happened–"

That doesn't stop him from lining up again, though. Especially when you enjoyed the ride, he will gladly go in once more despite feeling like he has just conquered a hurricane.

Oh, prepare to also spend quite some time at the arcade section.

Thoma must and shall win the biggest plushie for you, no matter what it takes please stop him as soon as it gets out of hand!

He's doing really well, and you can't quite tell if it's skill or just plain luck, but without wasting too much money he manages to reel in quite some smaller prizes, but as I said, he isn't satisfied before he wins you the biggest plushie of them all.

Yeah, of course he succeeds.

He realizes too late that you now have to drag the massive dog plushie through the park for the rest of the day but he takes responsibilities and thus, he walks around with a massive stuffy in his arms.

He won't complain, not even once!

But you might catch him looking at the plushie with a very troubled expression sometimes.

Thoma is a real gentleman.

He carries your bag and all the snacks and drinks and prizes he won, on top of the huge stuffed toy. He also hold your hands reassuringly in line if he notices that you are a bit nervous for the ride, but yeah even if you're not nervous he still holds your hand because why not?

This guy just wants to give you a nice day full of fun and enjoyment and he doesn't care if he ends up with sore muscles the next day because of all the stuff he carried for you all day.

You don't even have to thank him. Seeing the smile on your face is the best reward he could wish for!

He's a courageous baby.

Even if some rides initially intimidate him a bit, he doesn't hesitate to line up, reassuring you that he'll be fine.

Maybe a tiny little bit to look cool in front of you, or maybe even because he wants you to be proud of him, but mostly because in his eyes, fears are something to overcome.

Especially since he knows that he will most likely have lots of fun as soon as the nervousness wears off, and he really wants to enjoy all the rides with you.

I think Gorou sometimes has these little burst of energy every now and then and then he's skidding next to you excitedly with a sparkle in his eyes, while a little later, he's more laidback in his demeanor and just looks around him to take in his surroundings and all the things that happen in the bustling amusement park.

Shooting games at the arcade!

He's very good at them and he looks absolutely adorable when he's like super focused on taking aim to guarantee a bullseye hit in nearly all of the targets.

He ends up winning a lot of stuff but I can see him as the type to forget them somewhere and by the time you realize you can't find them anymore no matter how many times you wander around the park.

He feels so guilty!! But you tell him that it's okay while secretly gushing over how cute his adorable pout is.

Also expect a lot of hand holding because he doesn't wanna risk losing you in the crowd.

But he also uses this as an excuse when there is hardly anyone around because he just wants to hold your hand y'know?

Every time the two of you take a break he will heave out a relieved breath now that he can finally stop summoning up the courage for all those crazy rides for a minute or so, but it won't be long until he decides that it's about time for the next ride.

Yeah, he really likes it here.

Bonus; Gorou getting all shy as you offer to share a huge fluff of cotton candy but he's more than happy to do so, and he takes really tiny bites until you stuff his mouth with a big floof of candy floss and burst out in laughter until he returns the favor!!

She never really did anything like this before, so you two visiting an amusement park together is really special to her!

The days prior to the visit, she is super excited, though she is quite timid when it comes to showing it, and it's the little things and habits that let you know how much she is looking forward to it.

On the day itself, though, she gets quite nervous. She has absolutely no idea at all about what to expect and is happy that you are going with her because she wouldn't set foot there with anyone else.

Though she is kinda used to big crowds because of her family's importance, she still gets quite overwhelmed once you arrive, due to the jittery atmosphere and flashing lights and cacophony of sound.

Please hold her hand!!!

She will take some time to let loose a bit, but over time you see the smile on her face grow wider and brighter as she points at rides and games she feels like trying.

Ayaka isn't a fan of the extreme rides, not because she's afraid but because she just doesn't find them enjoyable at all, prefering the calmer rides where she can actually enjoy your presence instead of being trashed around in rollercoasters filled with loopings and freefalls.

Your date has a lot of wholesome times where you just share ice cream or other snacks you buy around the park and talk about small things that come to mind and Ayaka is just smiling softly all the time and it makes you so happy because her smile is so precious and it's so sweet to see how she enjoys her time with you!

Ooh, hear me out! Getting plushies together at the arcade!

Ayaka holding her breath and cluthing her hands against her chest every time you are close to winning a prize and the little encouragements she lets out when you are nearly there and trying her best to hide her disappointment when you lose because she doesn't want to give you the feeling of pressure.

Maybe the claw machine isn't in the best mood, maybe you end up pushing in a few more coins than you initially planned, but the smile on Ayaka's face when you hand her the plushie is all worth it!

She is sooo happy!

As grateful as she is, she thanks you over and over again, telling you how much she enjoys her time at the park with you and how much it means to her.

You leave quite early since both of you are pretty worn-out, but you make a silent promise to take her out on another date again soon!!

actually im going to put this under a cut bc my last ask was a long one and i feel like i am going to talk about this for way too long bc its 1am and im honestly a little tipsy.

note: i just finished answering this it took me an embarrassingly long amount of time and i dont think the person who asked this is even going to read it but i apparently have a lot of thoughts and no one ever wants to listen to me lol 

firstable yea actually unfortunately anytime they do a livestream, or anytime anyone SOMEHOW RELATED to them does a livestream. there are ppl in the chat talking about frerard. they both have comments off on insta now, i didnt actually read the comments that much and franks have been off for ages but im positive there were people in the comments talking about frerard. i mean fuck, franks LAST tweet he qrted someone who tagged him in the replies of a pic of The Kiss. so i mean yea its definitely not a majority but it still happens extremely frequently.

this is like. genuinely really funny to me bc im sure frank didnt see it, i think he knows enough not to look at the chat for the most part. but the moral is that its 2021 and people STILL dont know how to act. i wont go on about it but it actively enrages me anytime i watch a stream. rule one of real person fandoms is keep all that shit in your fan spaces. which is actually why i prefer tumblr. none of them are on here. actively engaging in mcr fandom on twitter is too close for comfort, especially since frank follows a handful of my friends and also like. knows me.

so like moral of my most times unavoidable wall of text is that ppl are right to be frustrated with the fans who act this way. i am extremely frustrated with them. and i think for the people who have never like tinhatted or anything, this type of behavior stands out and makes an impression and becomes the like. poster child for ppl who are like 'hmmmmm but what if.' about the frank and gerard stuff.

anyway, moving on, i think a lot of peoples hang up is that they view it as rpf. which i have a couple things to say about actually. its no secret that i have read a lot of rpf. i had never heard of fanfiction until i started getting into mcr in 2008. that was my introduction. and at the time, in that community, it was completely normal. and it was for a loooooooooong time. i knew of people who didnt read fic or felt weird about it but the majority of people i interacted with DID read fic. and on top of that, the people who didn;t were nothing like they are today. we all got along. no one was like demonizing people who did read fic. in 2012 when i think mcr tumblr was at its peak, ALL of the most popular blogs were "frerardies" (hate that term). they all talked about and recced fic and a lot of them wrote it too. everyone had a boyfriends tag. anyway when i came BACK to the mcr fandom in 2016 after a couple years away post-breakup it was still like that. people talked about fic all the time and you didnt have to like, hide it in fear of being labeled as a terrible person.

i always discussed this stuff, fic and theories, openly on this blog. for YEARS. the first time i noticed the rpf shift was 2019 tbh, when my blog was suspended and i (not related) had a mental health crisis and i spent a handful of months off tumblr, when i remade on a different blog suddenly it seemed like people were like noooo you cant talk about that. ppl who read fic are disgusting. if you think something happened between them you're homophobic. i was like honestly baffled bc i didnt know how it had seemingly changed so much in a matter of like 4 months or so. but thats the society we live in now lmao.

anyway the other thing about rpf is that i think most of these people are hypocrites. bc almost everyone makes an exception for unholyverse. theyre like ok i will dabble in the most popular fic and see what its about while still demonizing the people who read OTHER fics. like ugh.

also i have noticed its an age thing. a lot of the time. almost every mcr fan i personally interact with or know, which is a lot of people, read fic, used to read fic and just sort of grew out of it, and/or (usually and) believe something happened between them. but everyone i interact with is an adult and all of my closer friends are long time mcr fans like me. i feel like the percentage of fans who are minors who are extremely anti-rpf is way higher than the percentage of adults. and i think thats just due to the fan culture we grew up with and the fact that young people a lot of times are like..it seems very performative in an attempt to be the least problematic person that ever lived.

also random side note its really funny to keep updated with this debate on twitter. they literally yoyo there. frerard is ok on a bi-weekly basis.

anyway back to what i was originally saying which was that people view tinhatting as rpf and therefor not okay. which like idk maybe i sound crazy but i also always said this when i was in the phandom and discussing like dan and phil and whether or not they were soulmates before they came out, i don't think tinhatting is rpf. or like. idk theres a part of me that can see why people think rpf is a bad thing even though if i was famous i wouldnt care if people wrote fics about me. but like. analyzying the real life things that people have done and said in public (important). in order to try to contextualize their relationship or understand that dynamic better. well i mean first of all its not fiction. but like i do think its a lot different than writing explicit bdsm fic about them.

and i know a lot of the people on here who dont like actively participate in these conversations do like. see where we're coming from. with the frank lyrics and millions and like all of that stuff. they just dont talk about it. i mean *I* have stopped mostly talking about it at all unless its vague, due to the current climate and opinion. and sometimes we'll all have a moment of hysteria where we've all decided its ok to speak about. me right now apparently.

anyway im positive no one read all of this. i need to learn how to be brief but ive been saying that my whole life. but you're right. to me its clear that there's a bigger story behind it than frank and gerard just being buddies who were in a band together. a logical conclusion. and i wish we could just all get along again instead of people being sooooo mad about it.

Stray Kids Bang Chan x Idol!Reader Summary: You're known as the gym rat in your group, and quite frankly, you only have two moods: shredding or chilling. This was why when you're not asleep in between schedules, you're spotted with a male idol you happened to meet in the gym you were at that day. It's a known fact though, that you and Bang Chan are gym buddies and each other's spotter. Word Count: 2k+ Warnings: Internet toxicity, sasaengs, vulgar language, sexism, misogyny, pining, fluff, mentions of Pentagon because why not <3, etc.

A/N: Girl, i shouldn't do this but I did. It's so funny to me someone requested this cause I have recently become an exercise junkie lol. Also, if you can't tell, there is a pov shift after the cut so yeah. I also wanted to keep the reader gender neutral but I want to write about how psychotically different people treat male and female idols because that stuff aint it. It's most definitely not what anon was expecting me to write but I hope they enjoy it nonetheless.

There's compilation in YT with growing parts centered around you flexing your physical fitness and prowess. It ranges from you affectionally touring your fans, which really meant the cameraman, through the gym, introducing your trainer, and doing your routine on camera, to your group (and others) both fawning and bragging about how strong and how hot you are.

CLIP #1: A scene from an interview of your group in Japan, struggling to talk about how you can do 40 straight push ups.

There was a male interviewer in a suit you could all faintly recognize was talking about your recent Instagram post of a gym mirror selfie.

One of your youngest members smirked and in broken Japanese, cutely said, "Wah, she does 100 push ups! Everyday, every night."

You snap your head to the maknae and raise your brows, "nani?" You begin to shake your hands in protest and begin to explain your truth, "absolutely not 100. Maybe around 40, but nooooo, not 100."

The interviewer and your group comically react in awe. The man in the suit urges, "can you show us?"

You give a face, "Excuse me, but I'm not getting paid to do that in this miniskirt."

Everyone, including the film crew, break into laughter.

CLIP #2: A scene from a variety show where you had to prove you were, in fact, yourself, by doing a shortened version of your exercise routine.

One of the hosts of the show asks, "Wait, do you honestly do all of this in your workout? Like you can do all of it?"

The list of your exercises were written on a colourful cardboard, held by the one who just spoke. It was a range of exercises in 10 sets, from jumping jacks to sit ups, to vague sounding exercises like crab pinches and robot arms.

You purse your lips at the last question asked of you, not really liking the tone in which it was asked. You answer quickly and nod proudly, "I actually do more, cause when I get in the zone and I'm already really sweaty, I feel like I should keep going until my whole body burns." You chuckle.

The older hosts, tilt their head and mutter lowly under their breath something along the lines of, "I'd rather die."

You finally do the routine, quickly, continuously, earning impressed reactions from everyone.

"That's hot," one of the hosts note.

"Ya, for some reason it looks easy to do."

The hosts begin to clamour at that statement, and force whoever said to do the exact thing you did. Clearly, they don't work out as much as you do and cannot even get halfway through it without stopping.

You break out into a breathless laugh in amusement of the comical attempt but then protest, explaining how bad it is to force yourself to do more than you can

CLIP #3: Pentagon, Hongseok especially, fawns over how fit you are

Trailing a conversation about how your group is close with Pentagon because your companies are situated closely to each other and you wind up eating together a lot, there is an anecdote about how there was a jar no one could open, no one but you, that is.

The interviewer asks no one in particular, "wah, none of you could open the jar? Really? Or did you all just pretend so she could open it?"

There is a chorus of answers concluding with, "no really, she was the only one that was able to open it."

The story is backed up by how the jar had a really small lid and some hands were too big. Then came an explanation how you were recently into the new rock climbing machine in your gym.

Hongseok speaks up, "I was invited to go to rock climbing in, like, an actual rock climbing place and I was honestly so surprised when she began to climb. She said she never actually tried rock climbing on a wall, but it seemed like she had been doing it for years."

Shinwon agrees, "Right, right. I was also really curious about what they did that day," he points to Hongseok, "that I joined them one time. I never felt so out of shape in my life. I just stayed back and filmed everything."

Pentagon laughs, and then agrees that you were exceptionally fast and just super fit in all honesty.

The interviewer catches Hongseok's expression then suddenly asks, "do you like a woman like that?"

"Yeah, I like my women strong."

Then came a lot of teasing remarks from Pentagon, and a plethora of complaints from delusional fans who did not want Hongseok to ever breathe in your direction again.

With all that's been said about that, in all the parts of this series floating around in the internet, one thing remained, there was a slightly larger population of impressed fans than the still large portion of antifans who wanted nothing to do with it and only came around to hate.

It's hard not to think about it, but even the slightest back handed compliment can sometimes linger in one's mind.

And right now, as much as I kept my mind on my counting as I finished my set high knees, I couldn't help but think of how much backlash I got from posting a post workout photo with my midriff exposed.

Apparently that was not only enough to merit hate for being both a whore and an attention whore, but people baselessly began to hate on my groupmates simply for being associated with me.

It's kind of sad really, how, say Wonho, can post a fairly exposed photo of himself and get so much praise for it, and yet I couldn't even do anything remotely close to that.

And I don't even mean to come at Wonho, we all know he's a beast at the gym and should be able to show as much of his hard work as he is comfortable in showing, but why can't I?

"Hey trooper. I thought you said you were only doing 80 counts?" a voice cracks me out of my train of thought.

I turn to whom spoke and chuckle at myself as I stop my leg raises, "ah yeah, I got lost in thought, and your really good song."

I pull on my earphones and give a lopside smile, "I love working out to God's Menu."

He gives a soft, "he he, thanks."

"No need for a thank you when I'm only giving my honest opinion, Chan."

"Yeah, well still, it makes my kokoro go doki-doki," he sniggers, crossing his arms and flashing a dimpled smile. I raise my upper lip and reel back, "EWWW!"

I playfully shove him. He acts hurt, "this is violence against children."

"Chan, you're literally older than me."

"That doesn't mean I'm not a child at heart."

"You mean, it doesn't mean you're not a drama queen."

"Hey, I have no interest in having a throne, my only interest is," he leans in and whispers, "you."

During school hours, if you’re busy in the halls getting ready for next period, he tries to get your attention from afar--even if it’s from the other end of the hall--with the rest of his guy friends, a smirk on his face as he blows a kiss to you from a distance, leaving you to blush.

Eventually through him trying to impress and talk to you so much, he takes the opportunity to ask you out.

And of course, with you not having feelings for him, you’d say no.

He was expecting that you’d say yes, so getting rejected was really strange to him, but of course, he wasn’t going to give up that easily.

Since he has a major crush on you, he’s going to be insistent about going out with you.

Like, he’s not taking no for an answer.

He’d constantly harass you in the halls or in class about this, saying to stop playing hard to get when you’re making it perfectly clear that you have interest in him at all.

He’ll even pass you notes in class asking about the same thing or try to get your attention in class by whispering your name while everyone is busy and mouth ‘you look hot today’, leaving you to turn around in your seat and frown as this was getting annoying, his arrogance being a turn-off.

With being desperate, Ayato will even go as to steal your cheerleading uniform from your locker and hold it for ransom.

There was one time where you were walking to the girl’s locker room to get ready for cheer practice, which meant changing into your uniform. You were already late due to talking with a teacher after class, so you knew the locker room was empty since it was after school and most students had already gone home, and that your team was already practicing without you.

You went inside and opened your locker to find that the uniform was gone. Instantly, you questioned where it could have gone since you had just washed it yesterday and had placed it in there this morning before school had started, but a familiar, yet annoying voice soon rattled your thoughts.

“Hey babe, looking for this?”

You’d turn to see Ayato walking toward you, the uniform in his hands as a smirk displayed itself on his lips. You literally almost screamed knowing he was in the girl's locker room as this was not a place for him to be, your privacy feeling disturbed.

“Ayato, give it back.” You’d say, trying to take it from him, but he would be quick to hold it up high and out of your reach as you gave your best attempts to jump and grab it.

“Not so fast, sweetheart. You’ll get this back on one condition.”

“Fine.” You’d retort, feeling tired from all your attempts. “What is it?”

“Go out with me.”

“Ayato, how many times am I going to tell you that it’s not going to happen?”

“You can try to deny me all you want, but a girl has never said no to yours truly.”

“Well this one has.” You’d hiss, jumping up high enough this time as you finally grabbed hold of it and yanked it away from him. “I don’t know what it’s gonna take to make you understand that I’m not interested.”

There was an awkward silence between the two of you and you thought he would just leave. You were going to walk away and change, but you noticed he just continued to stand there. Being fed up with this, you’d hiss, “What?”

“You’re already late for practice. You’ll get there a lot faster if you let yours truly help you with your uniform.” He’d grin.

“Get out!” You’d scream, pushing him in the direction of the door.

It took an endless amount of attempts, but he’d eventually get the message that you just weren’t into him.

Once Ayato came to terms with himself and that you had no feelings for him, he basically ignores you at all costs.

For example, if he sees you in the hall, he’ll look or walk away and pretend he doesn’t see you--you’re basically erased to him.

Even if you tried to pull him aside to talk to him to work things out and just be friends, he’d simply brush you aside, hands in his pockets as he’d mutter ‘tch’ before walking away.

“Tch! How can she not like yours truly? . . . . Whatever. It’s her loss. She’ll never find another guy like me.”

Subaru:

Oh my, for him to like someone is quite difficult since he’s not even a fan of himself.

However, there was something captivating about you that caused this vampire’s undead heart to throb.

He hated the fact that he had feelings for you since he doesn’t want to feel weak for anyone, but you made him feel things in ways he couldn’t explain.

Every day at school was the same to him until he saw you. You were new to his school and the teacher introduced you to everyone and this was when he took note of your existence.

Since Subaru is a loner, you really had no idea who he was or that he even existed at first.

Just like everyone else, you would walk right past him in the halls, but it’s not because you were rude, you just didn’t know him and it would be strange to just start talking to someone you didn’t know without a reason.

He on the other hand noticed everything about you--your every movement, the way your smile would gleam, the way your style bewitched him along with how your intelligence astonished him during class discussions.

How you noticed him though was quite the opposite of ordinary.

You were once walking through the crowded halls at school and witnessed a physical fight taking place in the middle of the hall with two male students, Subaru being one of them as everyone huddled around to watch.

You saw the way his fist collided with the other male’s face as he sent him to the ground, several teachers soon arriving as they broke up the fight and sent both of them to the principal’s office.

At that point, you knew who he was and everyone was talking about that fight for weeks. Due to this, you heard rumors about him as well--about how getting in trouble was common for him due to him getting in fights with students in the past and that he was quite brash in general, but you weren’t one to judge.

Now, returning to him having a crush on you.

When in class with you, he will stare at you but will look away quickly since he doesn’t want to take any chances on being noticed by you or anyone else. The last thing he wants is for someone to suspect that he has a crush on you.

You were once assigned to be his partner in class and let’s say he was a nervous wreck about it all.

He was a lot meaner than usual, mostly because it’s a defense mechanism he uses to demonstrate his tough exterior so no one can take advantage or hurt him.

But deep down, we all know that this bby car is a total softy :’)).

Since you both had a project to complete together, you both met up in the library to prepare for it. You were both looking at the textbook to find the information you needed when your hand accidentally brushed against his. He instantly withdrew it, muttered ‘tch’ as he walked away to hide the blush that bloomed on his cheeks. This left you confused, but you decided not to question it since he was quite the enigma.

I’ve cannoned this in the past with @liannelara-dracula that he likes to corner you when you’re alone, especially during break, so he can have a small conversation with you.

He may say something slightly perverted to flirt tho ;)).

Through knowing each other, you like waving to him in the halls as you’re walking to class with your friends, your endearing smile dawning on him quite incandescently.

He’d never wave back at first, always muttering his infamous ‘tch’, and was usually just annoyed by your kindness, but with you not withdrawing your gentle nature, he soon started to grow a bit more comfortable with this.

When he reached this stage, he’s always taken back by you saying hi to him casually like that. He doesn’t really know what to do, a minor blush appearing on his cheeks as he'd slightly, but very awkwardly, lift and wave his hand, quickly looking away from you to avoid eye contact.

Your friends, however, would take note of you saying hi to him and would constantly be asking you as to why since he’s bad news and isn’t very approachable.

“Guys, he’s just misunderstood. It’s not like we really know him and we can’t just judge by what’s on the surface.” You'd say.

He really isn’t the type to just confess due to fear of rejection and his feelings grew more and more as he got to know you.

You really brought a lot of fun and joy to him, something he isn’t too familiar with due to his upbringing, in fact, he even started to smile a little bit each time he saw you.

Even his brothers took notice of his new behavior, a certain fedora-wearing vampire wanting to know more than what was on the surface when they were all riding home together once.

“Fufu~, what’s with the new attitude, Subaru? Why the smile? Is it about a girl?”

“Tch! Shut up!” He’d retort, looking away from all of them as a minor blush appeared on his cheeks, leaving them all to laugh at him.

Later on though, Subaru caught on to the idea of you not liking him back due to seeing you kissing your boyfriend in the halls one day.

He was crushed in all honesty and ended up recoiling back into his old life of being lonesome.

He rarely talks to you now. Since he knows you have someone else, he doesn’t want to bother with getting to know you any further since it would just hurt him more.

He’d also be a lot meaner and irritated than usual. In fact, it wouldn’t be surprising if he’d get into more physical fights due to his anger towards this situation.

He hates the idea of you not liking him back . . . but to be honest, he kind of expected it because he thought it was something that was too good to be true.

“It only makes sense that someone like her is already taken . . . . Tch! Like she’d ever date a piece of shit like me.”

Shu:

Considering his childhood trauma, for him to take an interest in someone is quite rare and almost unexpected.

Especially since he believes that if anyone associates themselves with him, they either end up dead or are left in a really bad situation they can’t get out of.

It took him a while to realize his feelings for you. He honestly just kept denying them for the longest time, but he accepted them later on since you were always on his mind.

However, even though he's realized them, bear in mind that he is an ass about his feelings since he always tries to push them away. This is mostly due to his experience with Edgar since it left quite a mark on his childhood.

Anyways, Shu first took notice of you during homeroom--which he actually bothered to attend for once xDD--and noticed you sitting in the far corner writing some things down in your notebook whilst your ears remained attentive to what the teacher was saying, your beauty being captivating to him.

By him not going to class a lot of the time, he wasn’t too familiar with a lot of his classmates. But with you being in homeroom hour, he actually started to attend it a lot more because he found you interesting—the way you focused throughout the period as you listened to instructions and paid no attention to the other boys who sought your attention when the teacher was either too busy teaching or doing something else.

By seeing you a lot in homeroom, he’d notice you in the halls whenever you were either conversing with your friends or going to your locker to grab the stuff you needed for your next class.

The way your hair would whip every time you turned, the sound of your laughter echoing in his ears every time you and your friends joked about something.

It was all so amusing to him, something he wouldn’t typically see.

With you piquing his interest, he wanted to make himself known to you. In other words, he wanted you to talk to him in some way, so he staged an opportunity.

You were running late to class one day. Since it was on the second floor you had to use the stairs, but you soon stopped when you saw someone occupying one of the steps that prevented you from ascending, his figure asleep as you recognized it to be Shu.

You had heard of Shu before due to his family name and because he was so popular with the girls, along with the fact that he always skipped class, but you never paid him much thought since you had your own clique of wholesome friends.

Since you were already running late and that was the only way to get to class, you’d politely approach him and ask him to move, but of course, he didn’t give a response or budge.

You supposed he was in a deep sleep, so you reached out to tap his shoulder, his eyes snapping open as he’d quickly grab your wrist, preventing you from giving him a nudge.

“Huh, touching a man you don’t even know. That’s quite lewd of you.” He’d smirk.

His remark caused you to slightly blush, “That- that’s not- I wasn’t doing anything like that.”

“Huh, surely doesn’t seem like it.”

You grew pretty annoyed as you’d send him a frown. “Look, can you move? I have to get to class. I’m already late and you’re making me get there even later.”

“You being late isn’t my problem. If you wanna pass, just pass.”

You’d sigh taking his suggestion, taking a step forward as you attempted to skip over the step he occupied. As you stepped over, he lifted a leg causing you to trip and land on the landing, pain traveling through your body as you shot him a glare knowing that what he did was on purpose.

“Hey! What the hell?! You did that on purpose, you jerk!”

“You’re imagining things. First you trip and then you wanna blame your clumsiness on me.”

He was so lying, and you knew that for sure. You didn’t just imagine it. You literally saw him do it.

“But you-,” You’d sigh, knowing it was going to be pointless to continue arguing with him, plus, you had a class to get to. “Whatever, I don’t have time for this. I have to get to class.”

As you’d leave, he would make a perverted remark about your skirt, a blush rushing up to your cheeks as you’d walk away and up the next flight of stairs to get to your class.

After class, your friends had asked why you were so late and you had told them about your encounter with Shu. They were in awe at the story and even teased you about it.

With that incident, things only escalated, especially with his endless flirting. He honestly gets a kick out of it.

Since he skips class a lot of the time, if you happen to pass him in the empty halls as you walk to class or elsewhere, he’s going to say something to you for sure.

This can range from him making more perverted remarks about your skirt, or your panties if he’s laying down; even going to the point of teasing you about being perverted when you’re not.

That motha.

He even accuses you of bothering him when he’s the one who started the conversation.

Says that you ‘walk too loud’ and that you’re spoiling his music because of that reason.

You’d grow fed up with this and with being so distraught about it, your friends would be bound to ask what was bothering you. You’d mention why, but they would only find it amusing considering who he is. After all, Shu isn’t really known to give much of his attention to anyone.

“Y’know, if he’s talking to you in the halls for no reason, that says something. He only talks to girls he has an interest in.” One of your friends would say.

“Interested my ass!” You’d retort, rolling your eyes. “He’s such an ass. He’s just some spoiled rich kid that’s probably never worked a day in his life.”

Honestly, Reiji would love you on account of this xDD.

I’ve also cannoned this with @liannelara-dracula that even though he’s lazy, he would take the time to get to know your schedule and show up everywhere you’d typically go.

And then, he’d accuse you of stalking him since you’re always running into him.

Since he’s pretty perceptive, Shu eventually noticed that you didn’t like him through one incident that he took note of in the hall one day. You were walking and you ran into your crush, your heart racing as he stopped to talk and say hi to you. You were pretty good friends with him and he was just the sweetest guy ever. You always felt butterflies in your stomach whenever you were around him and deep down, you hoped that things would change between you two eventually.

To Shu, it was plain as day that you liked someone else. He’s centuries-old and definitely knows how this stuff works, he’s not stupid. Plus, the asshole he was also listening to your heartbeat when you spoke to your crush, making it far more evident to himself that you had an interest in someone else.

By knowing about your crush, he does use it to piss you off. He’ll act like an even bigger ass now because he knows you don’t like him.

“Y’know, it’s never going to happen.” He’d tease, his infamous smirk being evident.

“A girl can dream.” You’d retort. “You seem to do it all day, so why can’t I?”

Based on his fear of someone getting hurt because of being involved with him, he’d never tell you that he liked you.

Is actually pretty accepting of the fact that you don’t like him, and to be honest, he thinks it’s better off this way due to his fear of destroying something he would later on cherish, but yet, he still carries on with being an ass towards you since it amuses him.

“You’re better off without me. Dream all you want about that guy, but I know he’d never satisfy you the way I could.”

DNP Rewatch: A Day in the Life of Dan and Phil in JAPAN!

The first Japan trip! DNP were in Japan from April 9 (also when Nick Jonas tweeted “hey buddy you in London?” to Dan 😂) to April 20. Phil was calling it his dream holiday before they even left. I’m going to split their tweets/Instagram posts between this post and the next one (for DAN AND PHIL JAPAN HAUL!) based on what they’re talking about in the video.

This is really soon after the last DITL video, which was just in December 2014. I always write way too much for these, so here we go...

0:00 - this is the most energetic start to a DITL video. Also the first joint intro. I feel like usually Dan is holding the camera when filming both of them, but not here. They lighting is much better than they think it is, lol.

0:07 - there we go with Dan taking over the camera holding. They really do look happy.

0:12 - “Phil and Dan” for once, just to make the rhyme work. Although not in the video title.

0:19 - awwww, cute inclusion of fan art!

0:21 - starting the adventure with a toilet is so random. Dan’s giggle in the background is amazing.

0:35 - I get the impression that Dan knows this is a bad idea but is making Phil do it anyway

0:47 - Dan’s hyena laugh! Phil looks shocked but is still grinning so much at Dan doubled over laughing in the background.

I mean, I love all of the DITL videos and this one is no exception. They just seem to be having so much fun on this day. DNP were really so excited about this trip. 

I do like that they chose to only film on one day, and just enjoy the rest of it. I’m sure they needed a bit of a break after the TABINOF announcement and before the craziness of the tour starting. They did share some photos of things they did on other days, of course (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).

Kaoru (DIR EN GREY) & Hazuki SPECIAL INTERVIEW 1/2 Translation

Kaoru: Thank you (laughs) Hazuki: Thank you for being here! (laughs) Kaoru: Well, somehow as the tension is different than usual, I got a bit surprised…(laughs)  *he means the program started suddenly* Hazuki: (The program started) In a single blow…I cut in with a single blow…. I’m sorry… Well, I’ve been on Youtube since last year….I already had Ryuichi Kawamura (Luna Sea’s vocalist) and an acquaintance who is a death metal/death growls instructor….being able to do talks like this it’s a bit special so I want to do more and more….like for example, telling everyone stories about Kaoru they’ve never heard before….I would like to see that more and more….I asked you (to come here) and you agreed immediately so thank you so much… Kaoru: No,no…you don’t need to (thank me)…. Hazuki: I’m really thankful…. Kaoru: But, the first time we talked about this was last year…. Hazuki: It was actually a while ago, that’s true… Kaoru: But somehow, I wondered if there was something good we could talk about here…. Hazuki: This time, “Oboro” will be released on 28th April….so I’d like to talk about that as well…there are also a few things here *pointing at the table* so it’s not just that…. I often met Kaoru but there are times we meet from the beginning but sometimes we meet in a second or third different stages…. Kaoru: After eating… Hazuki: There are some patterns about coming together, like sometimes it’s the two of us at the beginning…. Kaoru: Yes Hazuki: Or both of us staying until the end…..to this day, I haven’t get used to that situation at all….*laughs* Kaoru: At those times, you are a bit…..like this…..*starts imitating Hazuki, making awkward movements* Like this…..*Hazuki laughs, Kaoru too* At that moment I feel like  “ohh” *ego boost gesture lol* Hazuki: No,no…. (laughs) It feels exactly like that to me…..yes….I feel it…. So, before these talks, I get a drink for the guest that is here. I brought a lot of things but for the time being, let’s open a beer and after getting some alcohol in our bodies… Kaoru: That’s right… let’s start with this, right?.... because if you don’t drink, you won’t say anything…. Hazuki: I’m sorry….as there is a little distance between us…. I’m nervous so I need to drink alcohol…because you are a big senpai for me….cheers! Kaoru: Cheers! They both toast with their beer cans. Hazuki: It’s good…everyone is curious about one thing…. It’s really in the way….*Hazuki puts his hand on a bottle that it’s on the centre of the table, covered by a cloth* It’s really an object that stands out but,  the drink that I want to serve for Kaoru today is….well, for me this…..how long has it been?  I think 15-16 years… but in this long time there is especially one drink that left an impression in me…. Kaoru: Is something we drank together? Hazuki: We did….I get to know this type of alcohol/sake from Kaoru…. I couldn’t drink it at that time… Kaoru: I wonder what it is… Hazuki:I couldn’t drink it but as you were really into it and drank it….I was like….”I want to drink it with Kaoru”, so I tried  and it was delicious….so I was able to drink it that’s why today I brought it…do you know what is it?...*pointing at the cloth* Kaoru:*Laughs* I wonder… what can it be?.... Because of the size I would say it’s whisky… Hazuki: Ah yes the size…..but it’s not….it’s another thing…. Kaoru: Sweet potato shōchū? Hazuki: Ah, you are quite close….it’s a type of shōchū…. Kaoru: Eh? Hazuki: It’s not Sweet potato shōchū Kaoru: Is it Tantakatan? * Tantakatan is a shōchū made with perilla leaves. It is produced in Hokkaido, Japan. Hazuki: *screams* AH!...that’s it…..*Kaoru and Hazuki laugh* That’s amazing *Hazuki starts clapping* You knew it so well…*Hazuki takes off the cloth of the bottle* Kaoru: It’s been a long time! Hazuki: It’s Tantankatan…. Kaoru: This makes me feel really nostalgic…. Hazuki: How many years ago? Kaoru: A lot…. Hazuki: I think it was 23 years ago…. Kaoru: I used to drink this a lot…. Hazuki: Drinking this kind of alcohol on the rocks…. I was still young at that time, I’ve only drank beer, shōchū and highball shōchū. I thought “I should really try this”. When you asked me to join you, drinking this, I drank a lot and got really into it. After this, there was a boom in potato-fermented drinks *Kaoru laughs* But because you asked me to drink it together, I got to like it. *Kaoru laughs* *On the rocks” means serving an alcoholic beverage in a cocktail glass with ice. I think Hazuki means is “a fancy drink”. Kaoru: How nostalgic….I barely drink this anymore…. Hazuki: I drink it…. I thought “this is definitely the drink I want to share with him”…..after drinking this beer…. Kaoru: Let’s drink it….let’s finish the beers… Hazuki: You don’t need to hurry….we still have time…. Hazuki seems to be amazed by Kaoru’s reaction towards the Tantankatan. Kaoru: This makes me feel really nostalgic! Do they sell this at convenience stores? Hazuki: They do. Hazuki wants to know when Kaoru had the first chance to try Tantakatan. Kaoru: Maybe on tour… Hazuki: I see, because it was popular/a trend…to drink it with everyone… Kaoru:  Maybe the first time I drank it…. It was with Mr Ito, from the security company of X (X Japan)….that person’s face looked like a gorilla….*Hazuki laughs* when we started going on tour together, I started drinking it with him…. *Mr. Ito was popular for being in charge of the security of  X Japan and Luna Sea. He worked later with other bands like Dir en grey. He is said to be the saviour of many fans as he worked sometimes in the front lines. Hazuki: He gave it to you and you drank it together….I see…. Actually, it’s not the first time you appear in a program I’m doing…. Kaoru: You mean the radio one? Hazuki: Yes, the one called 「Weekly lynch」. When was it? 8 or 7 years ago. At that time, you were about to release “The Unraveling”. You were releasing “The Unraveling” so you came to the program. Since then, probably most of the people who are watching this haven’t heard that radio program, especially Lynch fans so, roughly I’d like to talk about how we ended up here….I would like to talk about this again…our first encounter….do you remember it? *Hazuki starts laughing softly but ends up laughing loudly when he sees Kaoru struggling to remember it* *Kaoru appeared as a guest in「Weekly lynch」in NACK5 FM on March 2013. Kaoru: It was because of Reo, right? Hazuki: That’s it, that’s it…. Kaoru: I remember it was Reo (Lynch’s guitarist)  who introduced you to me…. About where it was…..I think it was at some hotel lobby… Hazuki: That’s it, that’s it…at that time you were staying at a hotel in Nagoya…. Reo and I went to the lobby to meet you and we went to a shop…..I was really really nervous…I was thinking “finally I’m going to meet Dir en grey”,  as I knew the band since I was in high school…I was really nervous about meeting you for the first time but….at that hotel lobby there were many fans showing up as well…like waiting for the members….I was thinking “as expected from stars/famous people” when you were getting off quickly…*Hazuki laughs* Kaoru: I see….it was at a hotel…

Hazuki: That time we hardly talk…. Kaoru: That’s true….I talked to Reo mostly… Hazuki: But I was listening to you in the sideway….at that time I already liked to drink…. But Reo doesn’t drink right?...*Kaoru nods* I guess he can’t drink…. I don’t know though….but he didn’t drink…the next time you came to Nagoya, I find the courage to invite you, I was like “tonight I’m going to invite Kaoru!”, but at that time you have another plan with other person so you told me “I’m sorry”…so I went back home…. The next day, you contacted me by email to meet in the afternoon… Kaoru: Suddenly? Hazuki: Suddenly…I thought it was weird because it was your day off… I got super excited….and we went to “Mountain”… Kaoru: Aaaaaa Hazuki: (Mountain) in Nagoya….I want everyone to google it….it’s a pasta place among other things… Kaoru: I’m sure your fans know it well….I get to know this place from you…. Hazuki: Is that so?-….*laughs*.. I was the one who introduced this place to you… Kaoru: That’s it, that’s it…. Hazuki: Well….since that moment….. each time that Kaoru came to Nagoya with Dir en grey…we would usually drink together….it was almost like a perfect attendance award, right? Kaoru: Right…. Hazuki talks a little bit more about attending Dir’s live when they came to play at Zepp Nagoya even though he lived in a rural area. Hazuki: At that time, I lived at my parents house in a really rural area of Nagoya.  As going by train to Nagoya was hard, coming back was also hard, manga cafe… Kaoru: *cutting in* That’s it! They both starting laughing. Kaoru: I asked you if you were ok (staying there)…. Hazuki: The first  time after the live was over….at the first after party…..the other members were there….there were many people gathering there… every one was talking and I didn’t do much there… the second time you told me to wait for you….when we finished drinking it was past midnight….early in the morning…. There wasn’t a night bus and I didn’t have money to come back by taxi….so I came to the manga café, slept a bit and came back by train in the morning… Kaoru: That’s it…. Hazuki: For me, that you came to Nagoya and we could drink together….it was something really valuable for me….it makes me feel nostalgic….those days have kept going these 15-16 years….it might feel a bit like “why a vocalist and a guitarist *laughs* but you are really a big senpai that I respect…that’s right…this program….for this talk corner….nothing has been decided…*Kaoru nods* I really didn't decide anything….what could be the first topic?....mmm…I think we could talk about the moment you got into rock music…. Kaoru: Like when I started playing? Hazuki: That’s right….for example, I only listened to kayōkyoku ( Japanese popular music from Showa Era) when I was an elementary student….at that time it started to sound “Rosier” by Luna Sea and I was like “what is this?” so I got into the rock world…is there something like that for you? Something like “oh that’s amazing!” or so…. Kaoru: The first time I listened to something and thought “that’s rock” was BOOWY. Hazuki: Eh?? Is that so? Kaoru: I think it was a thing for my generation…..everyone listened to BOOWY. Hazuki: They were still active? Kaoru: Barely….it was before their disband.…. Hazuki: I see… Kaoru: But at middle school everyone listened to them….but the band I listened to before them was Seikima-II…. Hazuki laughs. Kaoru: Singles at that time were records (LP), right?.. Hazuki: Yes… Kaoru: I bought it and listened to it….even at that time, like when it comes to bands and rock music it was like…..something amazing and flashy… Seikima-II felt like “this is it”….that’s how it felt when I listened and looked at them….I didn’t listen to them with the image of “this is rock” or a “band”…. But when I heard that kind of band, the guitars, the bass….everything together I thought “this is cool”….as expected, BOOWY’s (activities) at that time were decreasing but there was also bands like Barbee Boys and Ziggy…. But among all those bands I listened to….when I was in middle school, a transferred student came to my school to my class….he looked  very serious…in that class he felt like the calm type….he sat next to me….and once we were going back home he invited me to hang out with him…even thought he was a middle school student….his room was full of records…..he had everything….an amplifier, record player, tapes…he also have CDs that were a recent thing at that time….he also had this huge speaker…of course he had a bed as well as it was his room…. Hazuki: But it was your friend’s stuff? Not his father’s? Kaoru: It wasn’t his father’s stuff, all belonged to him… Hazuki: Ehhhh Kaoru: It was amazing….it looked like an unknown world to me….I went to his house often to hang out after school…we would listen to the records that he had, he told to listen to the music he liked….one of the things he made me listen to was metal…. Hazuki: Western music? Kaoru: There was a lot of western music as well…like Iron Maiden and Judas…also Japanese metal and so but….it was like a “no way, no way” for me…. Hazuki: At time it wasn’t your cup of tea? Kaoru: At all…. Hazuki: Eh… Kaoru: I liked music in English….like Michael Jackson…I like Pop….music from the UK…..I listened to new wave bands for example….but that kind of hard rock or metal….I have this image of muscular guys playing in shorts jumping around energetically while playing….with those things in their shoulders that made them look like Saint Seiya….*Hazuki laughs* I had that kind of image… Hazuki: This is after BOOWY? Kaoru: It’s after BOOWY….I still was listening to BOØWY’s all the time….*Kaoru mumbles something about BOOWY’s CD covers?* Hazuki mentions Japan ( A new wave band from the Uk). They also mention again BOOWY’ and finally, X Japan appears. Kaoru mentions X’s Vanishing vision and that he didn’t like it at first because of the fierce and fast tempo songs. Hazuki: Eh? *laughs* I really can’t believe what you are saying right now… Kaoru: It was like a “no,no” for me…but among them, there were one or two songs that I liked… Hazuki: Yes, yes… Kaoru: Then, at high school…..I graduated from middle school and I started high school on April…and the 21st of April “Blue blood” was released…. Hazuki: Oh! Kaoru: At the bookstore and so there were X stuff there, I already knew them….and I preordered the CD…. Hazuki: *Laughs* How did that happen? Kaoru: I don’t know….I just did it… Hazuki: But you didn’t like them at that time….*laughs* Kaoru: But somehow for the first time, I was interested in them so I went the day of the release to buy the CD, I went back home,I listened to it at the radio-cassette and I was like “what on Earth is this?” *Hazuki laughs* Hazuki: That wasn’t too fast and fierce for you… Kaoru: It wasn’t….at all… Hazuki points out that the song called like the album “Blue blood” is fast and fierce but Kaoru seems to not care about that as he was amazed by the album. For Hazuki, it was too fast and fierce so it was a “No” for him at that moment. Kaoru: I was like “what’s this”?.... Hazuki: And because of that opportunity, even though it was fierce and fast, as you bought the CD yourself… Kaoru:  For me, it was the feeling of the whole “Blue blood” album….it was like listening to something amazing… Hazuki: But you got interested in that album when you saw that add (at the bookstore)…. Kaoru; That’s it, That’s it…. Hazuki: From there, you got into that world-view…. Kaoru: Certainly…that’s it, that’s it…at first, as expected, I didn’t know much about instruments and their sound….but the songs…and the atmosphere when I listened to the songs….I saw there was a live at the medium hall of the Kousei Nenkin Kaikan in Osaka but the tickets were already sold out. I feel like going to the venue at that moment…. Hazuki: But you didn’t have a ticket…. Kaoru tells next the story about how he got the ticket after walking around the venue. It seems  he was first offered a ticket by a old guy who asked for 5000 yen for the ticket (the real price was 3000 yen) but Kaoru didn’t have the money for it as he needed some for the train back home. Kaoru gave up about getting a ticket and he was wondering if he should buy some merch as people started to gather for the concert.  Then, another old guy guy approached him and offered him a ticket, that was a seat in the last row of the first floor, and Kaoru got it. Kaoru adds he was kind of careless for doing that? ( getting a ticket from a scalper) And Hazuki starts laughing nervously. Hazuki: Well, well it’s ok…..because  it’s an old story…. Kaoru: Then at the live I was on the right side…. Hazuki: That was Hide’s…. Kaoru: When I saw him….I was shocked…. Hazuki: Like it was something you shouldn’t see…. Were you a middle school student at that moment? Kaoru: A High school student…. Hazuki: Ah, you were in high school…. Kaoru: After seeing him, I just could see this person… Hazuki: But you are Dir en grey’s leader, right? Everyone…that fast and fierce songs were a “no” for you *laughs* Kaoru: It was really a “no-no” for me….for real….no way… Hazuki: And after that, the most intense and fast songs……but you didn’t like that at the beginning….but because of Hide…..X japan at that time was really fierce/violent….*Kaoru nods* With their hair up this way…*makes the gesture of the hair* Kaoru: All of them have their hair up…..but at the beginning, I was a little reluctant to get into foreign metal…. Hazuki: I understand that, it was the same for me….I was reluctant to it…. Kaoru: It was like it felt hard to get into it…. Hazuki: But when I was reading interviews of the artist I liked, they wrote about other musicians they liked, right? I wanted to try to listen to them, but I couldn’t really do it….because I didn’t like it…. Kaoru: That’s right… Hazuki: It was like that….was it the same for you? Kaoru: Like Alice Cooper with all that heavy black make-up…..he looked scary….when I listened to it, I didn’t really understand it… Hazuki: Like “X is better”, right?….it was like that for me too…. Kaoru: Hide was into pop music so I got into some artists because of him. Hazuki: I see… Kaoru: It’s stuff that I still listen nowadays….at that time he introduced these artist to his fans and I got into it. Now I listen to it and I think it’s cool...somehow it became like my roots….but at that time when it comes to rock, it was like “I don’t get it”…. Hazuki: I see….at that time, the members of Luna Sea would talk about Guns N' Roses or Nirvana….I rent some stuff from them but I was like “it’s not fierce, it’s not dark or bright, it’s just different”. Another time I listened to Korn and Slipknot and I was like “Oh, I like this”…until then, I barely listen to anything like that…. Kaoru: So since that time, you started to listen to western music…. Hazuki: Yes, I started to listen to it properly…..you already finished your beer… Kaoru: I did…. Hazuki: Oh, I’m sorry….*Hazuki grabs the bottle of “Tantakatan” to open it* That guy you talked about, the guy with the audio equipment, what happened to him after that? Kaoru: At that time, we graduated from middle school and…. Hazuki: Is that so? Kaoru: I don’t know what he is doing since then at all…. Hazuki: Eh???
