So I've been kind of obsessed with this au and I can't stop thinking about it so here's a long list of things I've concocted

- Nandor met Guillermo when he was working as a waitress, Nandor was having trouble composing and Guillermo helped him. One week later he convinced Guillermo to quit his job to start an underground band

- Nandor is the singer and Guillermo is the lead guitarist, sometimes he also sings and his melodic voice is a nice contrast to Nandor's rough tone

- they met Nadja and Laszlo when they where playing at an open night, Laszlo has a classical music upbringing and plays various instruments, but his favorite is the piano/keyboard. Nadja plays the drum and loves to sing but she sings very very poorly

- they play experimental rock/punk (very experimental) and kind of a mishmash of everything they all like and think it's cool in the moment

- Colin Robinson met Nandor and Guillermo when they were on their van fase and thought nothing of it but after he heard them with Nadja and Laszlo he saw something so he decided to be their manager

- they're not a big band at all but they have a small number of really devoted fans. The fandom has a lot of theories specifically about if Nandor and Guillermo are together, imagine like mclennon and larry but the thing is the theories are in fact correct

- theres a lot of controversy on twitter because some people keep saying they're using gay culture to get famous and are queerbaiting and shit and when they asked Nandor about it in an interview he got really confused and said "we're all fagots" Twitter really didn't like that

- speaking of Twitter they're really not online that much, Guillermo is the only one who has a kind of active account (he posts lyrics and sometimes a few photos once a week), Nandor has an Instagram account he uploaded three years ago, nobody can find anything about Nadja online there's no trace of her existence anywhere and Laszlo has like three throw away accounts he uses to follow sex workers and see what people are talking about them

- speaking of Twitter and controversy, Colin told them to make a video to apologize for saying faggot that ended up being a new song called Sorry where they told everyone to fuck themselves and the chorus is basically faggot faggot dyke tranny etc

- sometimes they fight that Nadja and Laszlo doesn't take the band too seriously because they have a career outside the band, but to Nandor and Guillermo the band is everything they have, they don't have a plan B with both having stranded relationships with their family, Nandor with all the disowning thing and Guillermo growing more and more distant from his family as the years passed

- one of their songs became a hit on TikTok and suddenly they were making headlines on festivals and they kind of hated it

- the fame didn't last long, the experiments of their songs isn't very marketable and soon enough they're back to audiences in the few hundreds

- Guillermo gets into fights a lot and has a fame of throwing arms with everyone who says shit about the band. They have been kicked out of some bars they played because of that.

- one time a fan posted how they've been in their 0.05% of listeners on Spotify wrapped for three years in a row and after that every year they name drop them asking is that you again? And every year it is them again actually

I have just bearly bitten into avos (I'm on chapter 8 of Thunder and Shadow), but I'm enjoying it so far 😁!

I love NeedlePaw, she's so sassy and energetic, and yet she also have some real depth to her character (and unfortunetly this type of characters often lack it, on text at least{ everything can be fixed with the power of remembering previous books & character analysis 🤪. ,I say while pointing at Rosetail or; Sunny from wof,). Also her friendship with AlderPaw is so cute <3 (though he can be really annoying sometimes, and pushed into the narrative of a sad good boy, even though some of his actions are rather selfish and acted out of jelousy of his sister Sparkpelt, than purely sympathetic), (but {thx StarClan} his biggest annoying fase was only, at least for now, in the Apprentice Quest. Now in Thunder and Shadow he's much more enjoable!<3)

I also think NeedlePaw being this big sis/bff for Violetkit is an incredibly good plot point! (even though NeedlePaw is a really, really bad role model XD). AlderPaw and Twigkit's interactions are also really sweet!

I just really don't understand why Jayfeather was made so, so pointlessly mean in this arc 😓, like I know he always was this way, but in po3 and oots it at least was more balanced, now it just seems forced and caricatured. I get him being annoyed and fed up with Sparkpelt and AlderPaw (after all, they are the new "true" children of his parents, and they live the life he once had, but was taken from him), but why is he so mean to everybody else? Why is he so horrible to Twigkit? ( like he is one of my Most Favourite characters, but now it feels like he's kinda boiled down to a stereotypical forced annoying plot device).

I'm probably gonna write a longer and more comprehensive analysis, after I'll finish Thunder and Shadow, because there's just a ton of stuff I wanna talk about! to much to write in one sitting.

Felix hates his big fucking boobs, he doesn't even know where he got them in the first place, cause his mom and Venetia had small ones(although that maybe could be for their eating disorders) it's not like he looked too alike the rest of his family anyways

the point is that he hates them, and he can't get a top surgery yet, Cause his parents have the hope this is just a "fase" of his(at least they accepted that he will take testosterone, they wanted or not) and that he will grow up of it, so they won't give him the money to get ride of his boobs, using binders is painful sometimes and he's just so tired

Oliver, by his side, has the full support of his family since he came out when he was 14, he had his surgery at 18, his family may not understand him very well, but they always were supportive with him

Oliver tells Felix he's hot that way, and that even if he can't get rid of them now, Oliver will make Felix enjoy his time with them

Oliver worships those boobs every day, Felix thinks is awkward(he really is not that sensitive there) but he always feel so validated

He can't help but stop hating them when Oliver is making this effort

Addicted Heroin. Here we go again.

Ok so, I wasn't really planning on watching this one. Mostly because I have so many shows to watch and haven't been in a high-school thai bl mood lately. Also I watched the two Chinese versions of this story and I have a weird thing about remakes.

But ultimately, curiosity, and @pharawee's posts, made me want to see it for myself. And since it's on yt, it was easy enough. (although eventually I tracked down the uncut version because I needed to see what I missed, and even tho I won't write down all the differences, a big one is the start of the show where in the uncut version it starts in the future before we go back into the present, which I thought was a weird choice but not necessarily a bad one).

The first thing I noticed, and was expecting to be different, was the overall visual. It looks like your standard thai bl. No point in comparing with the 2016 version, because the feel of it is very different. The original has a darker feel to it, and this one looks like a more light-hearted version.

Even with that and the fact that it's a different country, the characters are basically the same, they even kept the fact that Hero has bad penmanship. The first episode has a lot in common with the beginning of the 2016 version. The pranks, the presents, the underwear...

I think the pacing is different for sure, we're moving quite fast through the 'enemy' fase of the relationship and into flirting territory. I think since we have a side couple here and with all the future drama, it had to be this way.

Speaking of side couple, I'm curious to see Newyear and Jur again, after Hit Bite Love, which, although the show was a bit of a mess, I thought they were cute together.

With all that said, there's nothing outstanding here. If I forget about the adaptation, this is a very average thai bl with a twist on the stepbrothers trope.

I don't know if I'll keep watching, it will depend greatly on my overall mood and curiosity, and although it's not one of the best things airing right now, it's also not one of the worst.

Do NOT watch "How to make millions before grandma dies" if you are a big crier like me.

As someone who is VERY close to her grandma, this one was hard to end. Don't get me wrong It's beautiful and kinda funny (when you are not crying to death). It shows the dinamic in Amah's family when she's in a fase where all of her sons where distant, how she's afraid of not beeing visited even when she dies and all the plot just got me thinking about my grandmothers.

One of my grannies died of cancer when I was 13, just like the film, and the other lives in a apartament in front of me, that's why it was even harder and hit me so bad.

M started to visited Amah with the wrong intentions, just like her sons but It was incredible to watch the grandma and grandson dinamic. Seeing how our time is the best thing we can give to someone.

It took me more than 4 hours to watch, because I paused every scene that make me felt emocional or that I was about to cry, the movie ended and I kept crying for two more hours. I do think that if you didn't have contact with your grandparents you will not get it.

Lonely? I don’t know about that. but I dislike the days after chinese new year. the fridge’s full of leftovers and I have to eat them all alone.

You won't have to take care of me anymore.

I loved it and gave it 5 stars in letterboxd.

I know a lot of people hate him, but he's charming and... has mommy issues hahaha

Right now, I'm shipping him so hard with Gella. Their dynamic It's just so awesome and natural. I'm on edge every time they talk. I'd like to draw that dancing scene (Convergence)!

Anyway, I prefer the first one. Much more like my style, but I painted this too (awful, but I tried).

My name is Grazi, I go by she/her, I am not an 50 year old man pretending to be a girl blogging here (I feel like that’s important info since we’re in tumblr 🥲), I really love theater, writing and some random stuff! Currently, I am a fan of the musical Cabaret and the musical Pippin!

Also, I love jazz dance and especially Bob Fosse’s choreographies, from Sweet Charity to The Little Prince (1974).

I also adoreeee vintage fashion, especially the 70s, 80s and 1920s!
