Introducing the bean who started my oc obsession, it's Kess, the artificial half-shinobi beast lab rat! She's trans and her pronouns are she/her
Full name: Kestrel Aeon (Also known as Eve in some ninjala worlds)
Age: 28 (ninja gum turned her 12)
A young woman who moved to Eagle City in desperate need of space from her family and a shot at a new life; despite lacking ninja genes, she was able to snag herself a position in the WNA retail brand. After being discovered by a scientist by the name Hugh G. Pewchofer, she was taken in under contractual obligations to be tested on to create a ninja gum that can work on all humans. Her body handled the tests poorly, and soon her genetic code became rewritten, leading her to become trapped in a mixed state of shinobi beast and human
After various events, she was able to escape, and through a large journey met a sibling she never knew she had, and was able to come to terms with herself, regaining a human form, at the cost of turning into a child. After being recruited by a WNA agent in the area (who was unaware of her past relations with the company) she now spends her days learning the ways and culture of ninja.
If you wanna learn more about her main story, you can check it out on Ao3 here! (It's almost at 100 hits! I would be beyond excited if you helped it reach that number)
That's only one ninjala timeline too! In another timeline she was abducted by the space ninja, where she was experimented on (again), and in another, she hangs out with a group of well intentioned troublemakers, and gets a cool mech suit based on the ninjala drone!
Her signature weapon is a weapon that fits her love and desire to protect others. The chocorama! A shield type ninja gum that excels in deflecting and powering through your foes attacks.
All in all, she's my most utilized character, and I have a habit of fitting her into any universe I'm fixated on at a given moment (I've figured out her story also in Pokemon, Unsighted, Demon Slayer, One Piece, Wildfrost, Kirby, and even Splatoon! [Which I'll discuss another time])
While I have a lot of characters I love, Kess is the one closest to me. She is bean and I will love her in every universe and beyond
Much love to numerous people who have drawn her in the past, @drdocsir, Ronnie, Edny, and several more!

I read on twt forgot who that buggy is like the woman who gets between popular yaoi I can’t stop thinking about it. LOOK
1. His bond with shanks is not deep enough for fans
2. He has fake fans who love him so much they can’t ship him with anyone but some random character
3. Fans complain about every little thing he does
4. Fans think he doesn’t deserve the hype and mention him often. Don’t want him on merch
5. He is forgotten by fans on purpose
This is my buggy is trans agenda. Or that he is woman. Oda wrote him like women 😭😭😭
I have been saying this for so long. Also, Buggy's story with Shanks is the most lesbian drama I have ever seen. Buggy's character is what we call in Spanish "bollodrama" (the literal translation is dykedrama lmao) and I promise you you're not crazy because I believe he's written as a woman too. That is a failgirl to me. Transfem Buggy my beloved but also Genderfluid Buggy or just Non-Binary Buggy or-- Cisn't. That's the word.

Trying to be productive at work today but all I can think about are these fox toes I'm trying to design.
Smol.
Red fox toe beans are ridiculously small compared to most canines, so small they're not usually visible on winter coat foxes. Because of that, I don't usually bother putting them on my fox plush. Sewing tiny things adds considerable time and effort, and isn't worth bumping up the price for something hardly anyone will even see.
But.
I'm making a summer coat fox next. The beans are a lot easier to see when the toe fur isn't quite so floof, and I'm as much a sucker for beans as anyone else on the internet, so. Here we go.
I designed the original pattern with this possibility in mind, so it's mostly a matter of drawing into the existing pattern and adding some strategic darts. But placement--and where and how big to make those darts is where the "trying" comes in. I'm on my second draft (the picture above) and I feel pretty good about this one.
I thought about sewing claws out of fabric for about 5 seconds and decided I didn't hate myself that much (my wolves have sewn claws and they're the worst ever to sew, turn, and stuff). I'm using foam, at least until I figure out a more durable but still plushie-gentle material. I've done clay claws twice and they're both difficult to install and also not very cuddle-proof (unless you enjoy the authenticity of being clawed by the animal you're holding), though I do have some cosclay I could try which is softer. Felt lasts about 5 minutes before looking like my hair after it rains, and folded faux leather turns to string cheese. But the foam claws on my coyote have held up well for the last 3 years so I'm giving it another go with an even thicker foam. But if anyone has any suggestions please do let me know!

Is there anything that you should avoid doing with the clone beans? Like how you can’t feed a Gremlin after midnight?
Also, are there things that beans universally love? Like a type of food or anything like that?
Aside from stealing them?
Hm, I'd say respect any and all boundaries/rules any of the troopers immediately stipulate if they entrust their Bean to someone other than another clone. As more animated extensions of their being, the Beans often have quirks that reflect their trooper. So if their trooper isn't overly fond of something, their Bean will have a more extreme reaction to it.
Example: Rex doesn't like heights, Rex Bean hates heights so much that seeing anyone near a ledge will cause him vertigo and he will become extremely anxious (Ahsoka found this out the hard way when she climbed up the rafters on the training room, and immediately had to come down because Rex Bean started wailing in a puddle of his own tears out of sheer stress).
There's also the fact some Beans do go outside of their trooper's parameters because they're emotional outlets. So their behavior is a little more hard to predict. That said, no trooper is foolish enough to leave someone with their Bean unprepared!
Example: Dogma very rarely entrusts his Bean to anyone that isn't Tup, but if he really has no other choice he will also entrust them with a datapad full of puzzle games to keep Dogma Bean occupied (otherwise the little guy will run off and proceed to inconvenience anyone that he thinks has been unpleasant to Dogma in the last 24 hours). He also says that if a mouse droid comes looking for him, to let the lil fella go with them.
As for something the Beans universally love...
Well I'd say the only thing the clones all unanimously love is to be in each other's company. They are very social and really don't like being alone. In fact, for a Clone Bean to want to be alone takes something quite extreme, such as the loss of their trooper or their conversion into a Vestige. Although the latter is less so by choice and more a result of Vestiges being so disconnected from the world around them.
The only outlier is Coh, who not only seems to ground himself by continuing to remain by Cody's side despite not having as strong a connection as he used to before the commander got reconned, but also actively tries to engage with other Beans in play and other social activities (failing miserably at it since he freaks them out considerably).

The man on the radio says we could be in for a wild Wednesday ... on the other hand, we could just be in for a bit of this, that, and nothing in particular ... whatever, whatever, he's keeping us whirling around the kitchen dance floor. Weatherwise it's sun, rain and wind in equal measures ... a Victoria Sponge of vagaries. The traffic lady came and went without my attention being paid.
Today's groaner: my coworker, Kelvin, recently retired from the weather station and was replaced by a new guy, Celsius ... He's the new temp ;-D badoom tish ... here all week!!
The day after a shiny metropolis trip is always one of not knowing whether I'm coming or going. Mr Pooter's friends from Diary of a Nobody would be appropriate visitors today.
Lots of yawns and bleary eyed gazes out of the window as I sit here. Not much moving out there and even less in here ... aside, that is, from Biggest Dog who is panting and pacing after her walk. A good night's sleep for both of us last night and she's keeping all the beans for herself.
Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday and it's time to tootle off and take stock of what needs doing ...
