Good morning. 🐦⬛🐦⬛🐦⬛
27 July 2024
Something that we don't have in Louisiana are earthquakes. We used to experience them occasionally back in California, particularly when we lived near San Diego. I recall a time when I was out on my homemade skateboard and the ground started shaking, I would swear that I saw the road move like a wave, maybe it was my imagination. In Japan we experienced them more often. But since I moved east, I haven't felt a one, knock on wood. But here in Louisiana we experience the occasional hurricane which wasn't a thing back in California. Hmmm … on a side note, I left California about the time Nixon resigned, though the two events are not related.
"The great earthquake shall be in the month of May; Saturn, Capricorn, Jupiter, Mercury in Taurus; Venus, also Cancer, Mars in zero." - Nostradamus

Nothing like a series of minor earthquakes to rock you to sleep.

Author: Susanna Jones
Notes: Very unlikable main character, so sadly not my kind of book. Won't be keeping this in my shelf.
