bitty takes jack to see the cowboy carter tour because jack actually likes a lot of songs on that album and jack is so awed by her competency and hard work over the course of the three hour set that the show is deeply impactful to him and bitty gets to listen with tearful hearts in his eyes as jack spends the car ride home solemnly extolling her athleticism and preparedness.

This is my art entry for WIPBB is for Bad Idea by @porcupine-girl ! I'm so honored to do art on PG's writing, as I have been reading her stories for as long as I've been on A03 (...10 years this year).

This is based off of a scene in a future chapter!

I did something a bit different for this entry! I had to get rid of my Adobe subscription so I ended up using clip studio paint for the first time in years. I was also watching Fruits Basket and got inspired to try to do a comic page. All this to say, I learned a lot and had fun doing it!

bitty SUDDENLY succeeds the throne. surprise! assassination attempt on his life at coronation! double surprise! by his posted knight! hat trick!

jack is called OFF THE BENCH to be Bitty’s knight and follow him everywhere/ensure his safety/take the first bite of his food /die for him casually/etc. here’s your grumpy new knight who is unbelievably good and the only one who isn’t tainted by the ranks but also hates you with a burning fiery passion because he came out of hermitude for this. AND he’s the only choice.
