This probably has a target audience of only like 3 other people, but I’ve been playing Peggle since I was like 4, and I realized recently that ever since, I’ve unconsciously headcanoned all but one of the Peggle masters as not-straight. I wasn’t even aware of it, I never actually thought to myself “that character is gay”, that’s just how they were in my head, and I never had to think it specifically, it was practically subconscious.

Sorry if this doesn’t matter to anyone but I needed to talk about it and my friends don’t know the game and my brother doesn’t care

Anyway here’s what I headcanon each of them as now that I’ve been able to think about it for real. Pt 1:

Bjorn Unicorn: Gay

Jimmy Lightning: AroAce

Kay Tut: Pansexual

Spork Sporkan: I’m not sure but just not straight. (it kind of works cause he’s an alien so maybe his species has different understanding of gender and sexuality)

Claude Lobster: Bisexual

Renfield Pumpkin: Gay/Ace

Warren Rabbit: Bisexual

Tula Flower: Bisexual

Lord Cinderbottom: Gay

Master Hu: Asexual

Apparently literally NOBODY on the internet has any kind of documentation on the extra features in Peggle Dual Shot; not even SPRITER'S RESOURCE, of all places!

Therefore, I took it upon myself to download a ROM (it was NOT hard to find) and screengrab all 10 of the Bonus Underground areas.

It's actually pretty interesting how seamless they look on emulator (barring the literal seam in Hu's hourglass); usually DS games put in some kind of invisible gap in two-part images to accommodate the gap between screens in the actual hardware, which looks awkward on an emulator.

Canute is a pegasus with a unicorn body. He becomes a full fledged alicorn after King Sweyn is killed. He uses his new horn to kill Askeladd.

Thorfinn is a pony! He uses his mouth to wield his daggers - I haven't figured out how he can dual wield them... But he wears the sheath on either side of his body like a saddle bag!

Bjorn is a draft horse. Very strong and reliable! I moved his beard braid to his hair since ponies don't typically have facial hair. I still haven't figured out how to draw a helmet on him and make it look good >.<

Askeladd is a hippogriff (half horse, half griffon). I originally was going to make him a full griffon but realized he should be a half breed. Gratianus and Lydia are griffons though!

In order:

Askeladd - golden ouroboros (inspired by the snake bracelet he wears)

Bjorn - mushroom (fly agaric), self explanatory

Canute - sacred heart

Thorfinn - wheat bouquet

Canute and Thorfinn would remain blank flanks for a while. Canute would get his after his debate with Willibald about the meaning of love. I haven't fully decided when to give Thorfinn his but a good time may be when he decides never to resort to violence again?

imagine Fjord and Beau (post ruidius chaos)going to liberate the orphanage where Fjord grew up and make it their mission to get the kids to good homes and also make the orphanage a much better place.

They meet and care for so many kids of all different races in that time, but some have latched on to them.

Literally, in Fjord's case. From day one a half orc that can't be older than four grabs on to Fjord's pinky and follows him everywhere. He doesn't speak, but he is very smart and knows everything and everyone in the orphanage. When Fjord mentions leaving for the night the boy releases his pinky and bear hugs his leg. After a bit of gentle parenting from him and Beau, Fjord accepts his fate and goes home to Jester with a kid on his leg. Jester's exuberance scares the boy at first, but she wins him over with sweets and hamster unicorns. Soon he starts opening up to them. His name is River. He likes pancakes. He's scared of storms, even dark clouds make him panic. He hates his tusks, too. Fjord and Jester never really sit down and discuss adopting him, or even ask River. It's clear without any words or labels that they are a family.

Beau has a rough time with this project. Sure, the first few days are great. The kids are cute, and they look up to her. But there are so many of them. And they are so loud and sticky,how are they so sticky, when did that even happen? But she knows what it's like to have a shitty childhood, and works to make sure they won't have one any longer. There's one that's different than the rest. A half elf baby that Beau almost didn't know was there. She's quiet but curious, eyes always wandering, and content to just lay around. Beau makes a baby Bjorn to put her in while she herds children and does paperwork. It's strange, she never in a million years thought she'd be anything close to nurturing. She's not even doing much. But this kid seems content with her, even smiles up at her when Beau looks down from her work. When Yasha comes by she is swarmed by children. They treat her like a jungle gym and she could not be happier. She takes turns caring for this nameless baby and is in awe with her. How tiny she is, her big beautiful eyes. Yasha nicknames her Bug and tells her stories. There's no changing her mind, this is their baby, she tells her wife. There's just the question of her name, now. They make lists of names for her: flower names, names conventionally used for boys, weather names, warrior names. Nothing seems to fit her. Then one day Beau notices she has a red birthmark on her back at the base of her neck, where she herself has a tattoo to remember a fallen friend. Then it's clear what their little girl's name is. Soon after, they throw a party at their home to introduce the rest of the Nein to their daughter, Molly.

if each of them had a perfume, which would it be and why?

And if each of them had to their their shared kid, independently on a plane, and their toddler was creating a bit of a ruckus, how would their parenting react or try and mitigate their kids fuss?

Finally, I saw you made this wonderfully long guide to getting into dramione with a bunch of recs, would you mind making one for Drarry? It really read like Ravenclaw’s guide to dramione (compliment), which was wonderful, I just thought it would be cool if maybe u could indulge drarry 😊(like I’d love to know for you what u think ur intro to drarry is like you did for disappearness of Draco malfoy and all the other categories yk? Hi anon! Let me answer your last question first. I did do a shorter list for an intro to drarry, as well as a follow-up post with more recs here. I don’t know that I’m the right person to make as in-depth of a post as I did for dramione. I’ve read dramione for 20-plus years, drarry I’m still fairly new to, so though the lists I linked above are filled with great fics, I’m not the best source. I will say that if you’re looking for the perfect intro to drarry fic, in my opinion that’s Away Childish Things. I recommend it to anyone looking to give this ship a try. I just re-read it last week and I’m already itching to do it again. It’s the perfect story to show how these two could overcome their differences, forgiving and communicating under some strange circumstances.

Okay, now perfume I know next to nothing about, so I’ll give scent profiles instead. Draco I think very crisp, a hint of floral, a whisper of sugar. Harry I’ll say more earthy, hints of fireplace but also fresh air. Again, not a perfume person so *shrugs*

Okay, toddler on a plane. Draco is not getting into this situation because you are not getting that man onto a plane. He is strapping that kid to his chest with a baby bjorn and they are taking a broom, portkey, apparition, Floo, the Knight bus, horseback, muggle car, literally any other transport.

Poor Harry is going to resort to begging and bribery immediately. That toddler is going to get so much candy and the promise of a unicorn.

I was a bit worried about not being able to wear pants with the Butterfly Tunic, but it actually turned out okay with the leggings!

It was a bit hard to pick a decent hairstyle, but I think I managed.
