It’s hilarious how the wolfstar fandom abuse the prank plot and try to make Sirius grovel and self hate. But that’s what it was to Sirius, a prank. He never shows any remorse even when he tells Harry about it. He still said Snape deserved it. So, its funny to see so much wolfstar revolving around making Sirius OOC just to make wolfstar work. That’s not even touching the whole traitor thing. Smh.

even remus is a bit. Wonky while talking about the prank. it’s an entirely realistic interpretation (imo) if it was more that—remus was uncomfortable w his own lack of guilt about the whole incident. and that sirius’ unapologetic justification about the whole thing was uncomfortably similar to his own about their full moon jaunts and he didn’t know how to deal about that.

that combined with sirius’ disdain & irrelevance (esp when he’s not james and has shown, in the pet & future, that he can be objective when he comes to snape) makes me far more inclined to believe that the prank was never a big deal and has just been blown up.

i think it’s very easy to either dismiss mormons as annoying missionaries who won’t leave you alone or as like a quirky wacky group with weird underwear, but otherwise harmless, but like. they have such a long history of being horrible towards black people, horrible towards native americans, and horrible towards women. all of this continues to this day. this isn’t even going into the homophobia and transphobia like every single lgbt exmormon i know has come out of it traumatized. but while the mormon church’s treatment of lgbt people grabs the most headlines it doesn’t even scratch the surface of their abuse towards their own members and neighboring nonmembers alike.
