“Oh god, I remember this one! When we went on that coffee date on campus?”

You hold up a printed picture of the day Shuri and you went on your first date together. It was at a crappy angle, as neither of you knew how to take those hip selfies that kids just a few years younger than you did, but it captured the new innocence that came with a fresh relationship. The two of you beaming ear to ear with your chosen beverages from the local campus cafe where you first met; it was a day neither of you have forgotten.

You lay the image down on the corkboard, pressing it in place with a thumb tack along the purple line that was strung along the length of the board as well. There were some pictures on their already, commemorating important moments and milestones within your relationship to date. From said first date to the most recent vacation the two of you took to Haiti, plus the many more photos you had stacked in tiny piles next to either of you, the tracking activity was something the both of you were enjoying far more than what you thought you would.

“Okay, but what about this one? The one Nakia took of us by the beachside?” Shuri hands you a polaroid of said picture, the memories of the evening flooding back to you. It was your first anniversary together, and it just so happened to fall in the timeframe you both were going to see Nakia and to check up on the progress of the school she was running. Spending a night out on the beach with a moonlight picnic, the intimacy of the date made you feel like a true princess; and so lucky the two of you were that Nakia came by and offered to commemorate the moment with a picture.

“You know what would make this board really complete?” You said to Shuri, a little smile on your face that always told her that you were up to something. 

“What are you suggesting, love?” The royal questions, eyebrows raised curiously. She watches as you instantly raise, trotting over to the nearby dresser, and pulling out the white polaroid camera the two of you bought while in the states. As you return to your spot on the ground, you beckon Shuri to shift closer to you to be in the camera’s view.

“Let’s take a picture here,” you said, “to commemorate where we are in our relationship now!”

Shuri looks at you with an immense amount of love in her eyes, lips stretched wide across her face in a smile as she nods to your request. She makes it a special picture, too, planting a kiss on your cheek as you take the perfect snapshot. She’ll have to remember to get copies of this polaroid made, so that she can keep one for herself, to remember one of the happiest moments she’s ever had in her life.

So marvel recently revealed a bunch of Varient Covers of "What if every hero had a sidekick/youth counterpart" and while I love most of the designs, some definately are better then others

I hate the Vision Design and I dont know why. Something just feels fundamentally off about it/ Maybe its the fact its a pitch white, skintight 8 year old? Maybe its the posing? The Debris? IDK Man is feels weird.

It's just Billy and Teddy. I love Billy and Teddy, their some of the only actual Gay Men in Marvel, but come one guys. Certainly you can do a young Dr. Strange and Young Hulk thats different? Strange goes higher if only because I like the art more, the Young Hulk I just dislike entirely

Speaking of uninspired, the only reason Miles is above Billy & Teddy is that at least shes a different gender then her mainline counterpart. Other then that its probably the laziest design here. Also, you may notice the webbing seems off, that will be a recurring trend here where limbs or background elements were layered improperly or something.

I actually really like this character design. It looks like a fun character in a superhero elementry school spin-off book. The only issue um... thats Storm. Its the next gen Storm and she's white. That's basically my only issue, and why shes above the 3 I actively somewhat dislike designwise, but... Storm is one the premiere Black Superheros. Having her next gen counterpart be white feels so weird. I

On one hand, I can 100% see normal Deadpool wearing this. On the other, the My Boy adds way to much charm for me to rate it with the other uninspired ones, and at least I dont feel like its whitewashing anything. We are at the point where I'd unironically love to see any of these designs in a book, even if its an Elseworld instead of main universe one.

Teen Female Wolverine has been done to death, but I do like how this one goes for a more monstrous Angle compared to Laura and Gabby. The tattered, beast up costumes, beastial feet, large Ponytail giving off the deelling of a mane, nasty looking teeth, and BONE CLAWS very much makes it feel more like a feral forest mutant then the more clean, assassin design Laura had.

The big thing I like here is it isn't a reimagining of Carol Danvers current, captain marvel outfit, but her Miss Marvel ones. We already have Kamala for a new gen version of Carols current design, so a reimigining of the old one, in a way that doesn't feel super fetishy is nice. First I thought it was a dude, but it might be a girl? Unsure.

I really love this design, but it doesn't really scream Black Panther... and I honestly dont care. I love bright colors, makes my brain go byr, and the fact she has a completely different powerset most likely intrigues me.

I have a weakness for fishpeople of all types ok? I find the designs naturally appealing. Even still, Starlord's Chibi Starfish Successor is neat, but not amazing. The ideas done a lot better later on.

He looks like he is having so much fun with his Mentor. I also like how, unlike everyone else, Black Cat's Apprentice is kinda chubby. I don't know man he just seems like he'd be a fun guy to hang out with at college.

Whats better then a succesor to one hero? a Succesor to TWO HEROES! The Captain America Succesor I feel very much has some elements of Wasp design, and I always am down for High Tech Wingspans even if they weren't intentionally going for it.

Instead of being the Scarlet witch they made her the Magenta Witch. All in all I just really like the sorta sorceror design, especially the chosen color scheme. Also ghostly mystical fire is fun you should follow it into the swamp.

Listen I love this design. Its in the top 10 for a reason but man... that arm. Every time I see the image I cant help but notice how insanely small his arm is, like he was supposed to have both arms resting but they decided "Have him twirl a stake so people know its blade."

Moon Squire is here to kick ass and pass third grade math! I just like the Cowl mixed with baseball cap design lol. Moon Knight always fucking kills it with the drip though so im not surprised.

A Friend told me It's Gwen Tennyson cosplaying Magneto and now I cant not see it. I do like that shes implied to have a different powerset then Eric as well, always fun when they did that.

The better Chibi Venom. Only missed the top 5 since I dont think he'd be able to carry a book as the main protag, he is the perfect sidekick though. Just this mildly creepy cutie pootie handing with the fairly creepy Symbiote. After Extreme Venomverse shouldn't be surprised the Venom varient is amazing, but I am suprised thats the direction they went.

If Next Gen Storm and Next Gen Moon Knight are in the Elementary School book, Wee-Hulk is the main god damn character. She's just a very fun little kid hulk, I especially love how shes doing the Iconic "She-Hulk holds a Car Above her head" pose with an electric scooter.

Did you guys see the new trailer for Black Panther, Wakanda Forever? I’m so excited! November can’t get here fast enough! But for now I’ll pass the time by writing for black panther

Yes we finally went to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (aka Black Panther 2) everyone who was going could go so the tickets were bought and we all showed up in the lobby before the movie started

Also yes there was plenty of Black Panther stuff down at the theater which of course included cups and buckets! you can read more about that here.

As for the movie I thought it was very good! I did enjoy it and I feel that all the Marvel movies are more like chapters in the larger story and this was a pretty good chapter in that context.

It probably would have been a completely different movie if Chadwick Boseman didn't pass away, but what we got was pretty good

I'm sure alot of ppl wanted to see how they would handle things in regards to him not being there and I think they did a good job at the first of the movie somewhat explaining what happened where it was like an "unknown illness" and the whole funeral scene and all that was very impressive and I felt they gave him a true King's send off with all that.

alot of the movie deals with grief and loss and trying to move forward with life after some who you loved and cared for passes away. I can only imagine how everyone was feeling when filming this it must have been hard at time to do certain scenes. It was a very emotional movie at times and ppl were all saying stuff like they sobbed through the whole movie becasue it was overwhelmingly emotional and full of sadness and all that. Now me personally honestly I didn't shed a tear or get emotional at all during the movie and didn't feel sad or anything. They had a nice tribute to Chadwick Boseman at the end of the movie where Letitia Wright's Shuri is remembering her brother and all the good times and letting him go so to speak which was very touching but didn't at the same time it didn't effect my feels/emotions at all.

I think that was partly becasue I was more interested in other aspects of the movie and not focused on the absence of Chadwick Boseman but more focused on the introduction of characters like Namor who is a very prominent character in the Marvel Universe and was interested in how they would bring him to the big screen.

Now I thought Tenoch Huerta did an amazing job as Namor he looked the part and he acted the part although I did feel that he was a bit soft at time where I thought Namor would be more stern or aggressive becasue he is not a very nice guy alot of the time from my exposure to him in the comics but I do feel that Tenoch Huerta absolutely nailed it also Mabel Cadena as Namora I didn't recognize her at first until her name was said and then I was like oh thats her! I kinda had a feeling it might have been her being she looks completely different then she does comic wise and Alex Livinalli as Attuma and I thought he did an excellent job with him and the look of the character was you could tell it was Attuma.

Another interesting addition to this was introducing the character of Riri Williams aka Ironheart I can't say I'm a fan of the character and in a way I felt she was kinda shoed into this and becasue kinda like this whats the word? MacGuffin? for I would say the first half of the movie until she is rescued by the Wakandans and begins to work on her suit with Shuri don't get me wrong Dominique Thorne was great in this but I just felt that she was kinda shoed into this to be a plot point. Also I know she is getting a Disney show and I guarantee it that ppl are going to be all "its that IronGirl from Wakanda Forever" when that show starts. Also everyone else who returned to the movie did an amazing job also reprising their roles Lupita Nyong'o, Danai Gurira, Angela Bassett, Winston Duke and Martin Freeman were all fantastic.

The score was great there was some nice music in this and apparently a song by Rihanna which was suppose to be the title song was playing during the credits but didn't pay too much attention to it being I was talking to friends while we waited for the mid credits scene. I'll probably listen to it later to see what its like.

of course the production design and costumes were all amazing and it was cool to see the world of Wakanda fleshed out more from the first movie.

The fights and action were great also but I don't find there was alot of action in this one it was a bit more dramatic and extremely story centric with lots of dialogue and subtitles the cool thing though was the subtitles were color coded for different langues which I thought was a interesting idea.

Also the visual effects in this were quite amazing all the all the sea life that was created was impressive, having Namor fly with his classic winged ankles was awesome and the whole scene where they take a tour of Talokan (the Atlantis of the MCU) that was extremely impressive all the under water stuff that was don't was visually amazing.

Now here is the part that ppl might not like and it would probably be considered an "unpopular opinion" but after watching both Black Adam and Wakanda Forever I personally and the other 5 people in our movie group who watched these with me we all agreed that Black Adam was a better movie. After Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was over and everyone was talking before the mid-credit scene everyone agreed that we all seemed to have enjoyed Black Adam more then Wakanda Forever one of my friends said they felt Wakanda Forever was too "scattered" and they were doing to much at one time

It was a good movie and I did enjoy it for the most part and as I said above this was a good chapter in the MCU storyline Its going to be interesting to see what is going to happens next. the only thing I guess I am sad about is that we didn't get to see the original version of what the movie was suppose to be, but out there in the vastness of the Multiverse there is a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever staring Chadwick Boseman but on this Earth this one was pretty good.

－ In which during a tumultuous time during T'Challa's duties with the Avengers in America, he pays a visit to a certain someone ro calm his mind.

A King should never get too comfortable in his position - and if he is, then he shouldn’t be king. It was one of the many morals instilled upon T’Challa as crowned prince to the Wakandan throne. He knows he’s got a lot to risk for himself, for his people, and unfortunately he doesn’t have the ability to allow himself to get too comfortable. Though, just because he’s King of arguably the most powerful nation on earth, doesn’t mean he’s absolved from having guilty pleasures.

And it just so happens that he’s on his way to visit said guilty pleasure right now.

He has to keep a low profile, though. More than raised eyebrows would occur if people saw a member of the Wakandan royal family casually strolling into a college campus, accompanied by brightly colored warrior women trained to kill. So he dawns much more casual, American clothing, and so do the two members of the KingsGuard accompanying him, because of course, he couldn’t come completely alone.

With so much happening the past few months, all T’Challa truly wants is to be in your arms. To remember how they feel around him, to cement your kisses into his skin so that they never disappear again. It’s wishful thinking, he knows it is; there’s only so much time the two of you will have together, but he doesn’t like to think about that. Instead, he chooses to relish in the present, and perhaps, speak on what future instances would look like.

He remembers the day the two of you first met. Being introduced to each other by his friend who taught the graduate level african history class you were enrolled in, the professor relayed your expressed interest in Wakanda and the desire to study the history of the nation on a deeper level. While he could not grant you access inside the tightly secured country for reasons, T’Challa was more than willing to oblige in your questions to assist in your research. Little did he know that the mere prospect of assisting you in your extended project would lead to something much more deeper.

It was a breath of fresh air for the royal, a change of pace from his constant need to save face. You didn’t treat him like a King - which, granted, he had to get used to - but rather an average scholar you were bouncing ideas off of. While most of his life he has been molded to be a pillar of sovereignty, with you, T’Challa was able to have some semblance of normalcy in his life. Something he didn’t know he craved so carnally until he met you.

He sighs as his fist raps at your door, his body already buzzing with excitement at the idea of seeing you again after a long time being apart. You open it, and T’Challa’s lips immediately crack into a smile.

“Now, I remember telling you to let me know when you’re coming by,” you say in a voice akin to disbelief, standing in the doorway of your apartment that resides close to campus, “y’know, instead of knocking on my door like you’re the police or somethin’?”

“Can you blame me?” T’Challa retorts, “I was in a rush.”

Well, there’s little you can do about the King who seemingly lost his manners, besides welcome him into your home - and your heart - for the night.

Backstory

Shuri and riri where your neighbors and your dorm mates best friend. Most of the time they where always at your dorm.You would admit to you friend you may have a little crush for them .You could never express those feelings to shuri and Riri obviously you didn’t want to mess up there relationship.Because of that you ignore them at all times .

When you see them walking towards you,you walk another way. When your at a party and you see them you leave the party . You woke up at times knowing they wouldn’t be there. When they text you you don’t respond.When they come your dorm you make up excuses on why you can’t stay . You did this for months hoping no one realized what you really where doing .

Present Day:

It was a Friday 6:15 pm you where in your dorm with your dorm mate Amani. “I got a question “ Amani starts to look at you . “I have a answer “ you say smirking . “Why do you always ignore shuri and riri” you in fact did not have a answer for this. You thought you hid it so well ,guess not . ���Uhh what do you mean “ you look at her hesitantly. “Y/n you know damn well what I’m talking about” she say slightly raising her voice . “ ok fine a couple months ago I developed a crush and I don’t want to ruin their relationship “ you say talking in a fast pace yet Amani still understood you .”They miss you “ Amani says “There coming over and asking if you would stay this time they should come at 6:30 “ Amani says you start to look sad for you have done “I’m sorry Amani but I’m going to Zaryees 90’s party “ you say sounding sad . “I might go but probs not “ Amani says “ima leave at 8 the party at 9 “

you say to her .You started walking to your closet looking for your outfit . You heard a knock at the door it was was probably shuri and riri .”I’ll get the door “ you say while walking to the door.You open the door wide so They can com in while covering your face. They slowly walk in obviously seeing you. You lock the door after they come in. You walk back to your closet to find your outfit. Shuri and riri took a seat on Amani’s bed .You decided to wear some outfit from the show moesha and you where going to do your hair like her . You put your clothes in your bed .”The silence is real loud “ Amani says you let out a chuckle . “That’s because y/n doesn’t talk to us anymore “ riri says while Amani winks at you ,you roll your eyes at her.”Where you going “shuri asks while she watches you make your outfit.”Somewhere” you say while moving to your jewelry box.Shuri begins to hum after what you said . You layout your jewelry with your outfit.You move to your accessory rack you got out your sunglasses and purse. You then chose some heel fluffy brown boots and than chose you scent .”Done” you say looking at your outfit. “Ima take a shower because this party finna be lit asf “ you take your outfit leaving the accessories on the bed. You get your underwear from your closet and walk to the bathroom with your underwear clothes towel and your speaker.

Y/n has been acting hella weird for months. She practically ghosted me and riri for some reason.I miss her , I miss y/n and how she was her laugh her smile .now she just runs away from me or riri .I don’t know why she runs away from us but when we try to talk to her about it she ignores us. So we stopped trying and left her alone.

“Where is y/n going “ I ask Amani in a serious tone of voice. “She going to some 90s party” Amani says while Turing on the tv . I was hella protective of y/n ,I couldn’t tell anyone why but I was . “ we going to that party" i demanded while getting up to leave."i was going to go anyway " riri said I roll my eyes and we leave her dorm .

It had been 2 hours since your shower. Your did a orange make up look. You did you hair in pigtails with orange hair ties . You had brown glasses that rested on top of your head . You had a bandana bag that matched your blazer that had your keys and phone. “See you Amani “ you say while waving at her. You leave your dorm making it to the hallway. You check your dorm door to make sure it’s locked .You walk in hallway making it to the elevator you hear a door unlocked and close. You turn around and it’s Riri and Shuri .You run to the elevator and click on the first floor button. You get a notification on your phone from Uber you Uber was here . You got off the elevator waking out of the dorms heading to your Uber .

Once you made it to your destination you waited in line .you heard your name being yelled you turn around. “NORA!!” Nora was your best friend you grew up with her before you moved . You guys ran and hugged each other . “What are you doing here “ Nora says letting you go . “ My friend zaryee throwing the party “ you say to her. You feel the line start to move and you shuffle with it . You slowly make your way inside the party . You hear the song you believe is “Stay-jodeci” .The party looks cool you look on all sides and you see a bar.You walk over to the bar and get a margarita.You than started slowly moving your hips once you got your margarita and made it the dance floor .They start to play I Like by guy. I finished drinking my margarita and put my glasses on a random ass table while I was walking to the dance floor. Once I made it to the dance floor .I was slowly grinding and dancing around on people . Than the played Stay-By Jodeci.I slowly Danced and belly rolled on people .

Shuri’s Pov

Once we made inside the party I see y/n bumping and grinding on random ass women. It made me angry in a way to see her do that to someone that’s not me or riri . I decided to get a drink from the bar “ Aye can I get some whiskey light on ice “ i ask the bartender. I get my drink and head over .I see riri dancing and grinding just like y/n . I roll my eyes and just slowly admire riri and y/n for how they are . After I finished my drink I start to relax . I hear the beginning to the song that’s finna make y/n riri go crazy. Back that ass up starts to play . I get up from the my chair and get ready to get y/n off the dance floor.

Y/n Pov

They start the intro to back that ass up. You start to do a 2 step until the song really starts.The song starts and you start twerking .hoping that your dress don’t ride up your sides . You feel a firm hand on your back but you dance and dance until the song was over. You went back to the bar “Can I get 4 shots” .The bartender puts the places the shots on the table . “Thanks “ the Bartender nods from my response. You drink each shot one by one . “Can I get 4 more shots please “ you ask .Than you started to walk to the dance floor they started to All I do is think of you-Troops.You see this one person that looks familiar to me but you can’t tell your drunk . You hear your voice from a distance.”Can I dance with you ma” the voice sounds hella familiar but you can’t tell who’s voice . “Sure “ you start to sing “ I can’t wait to get to school each day~” you sing . You lay your head on their chest.

Riri’s Pov

Y/n placed her head on my shoulder and danced my hands where on her waist. Y/n looked up at and looked like she realized who I was. "you know you and shuri are my crushes I avoid you guys cause I love you" y/n says. She has to be drunk. "All I do is think of you guys" y/n says smiling. "Shuri" I yell getting her attention. “I think y/n is drunk and she just confessed love “ I say scared of Shuri’s reaction.”That makes sense why she has been hella weird “ shuri says while adjusting the rings on her finger I just nod . “Get her an Uber “ I say telling shuri . Shuri opens her phone ordering and Uber for us.We walk to the entrance while y/n is taking “Your really pretty riri can you pleaseeeeeeee give me a kiss “ I roll my eyes y/n is so drunk .The Uber comes after a while and we get in the Uber . Y/n starts to fall asleep on my chest . As I look at the girl on my chest I show a smile admiring her. She occasionally wakes up from time to time but still lays on my chest. Once we made it home sense y/n could still do things we told her to take a shower so she wouldn’t reek of the smell of alcohol. Once she did we gave her some pjs and we put her to bed while me and shuri where thinking about her confession .

You wake up to some sun light in my face . You sit my self up and notice this isn’t my bed or bedroom. Where the hell are you and how did you get there . You look to the left and it’s riri and you look to the right and it’s shuri . How the fuck did your drunk self manage to get in this situation. You look to see if you had on pjs on thankfully you did.

#Despite everything, they didn’t kill him

Yes When we went to see Black Panther: Wakanda Forever there was actually alot of stuff for it! they had some lil Black Panther plush toys, Drink coasters, Socks and packs of playing cards plus Cups and Buckets of course! and of course we picked up our Cup and bucket

The buckets again were metal and embossed/stamped out ones that we gotten before. But this one is different from the other ones we got this one isn't round its more of a pentagon shape with different characters on each side. What I would consider the front has The movies title logo and a nice tribal looking Panther logo then the other 4 sides there is going to the left Shuri,Okoye, M'Baku and Nakia and of course its a really nice bucket all these metal ones have been pretty nice.

Now as for the cups are the usual plastic cups but this is one of the smaller ones it says 32oz on the bottom(which is like 946ml or so?) there is cover has a thing but there isn't any topper for it

On the front it has the group of Shuri,Okoye, M'Baku and Nakia on it and on the back it just has the movies Title logo and there is like Trible desins on it as well and like the Morbius cup it also has this nice metallic purpleish/blueish black finish on it. it’s pretty cool, I think.

also..! when we got this the girl behind the counter handed me this lil blind bag thing I didn't open it yet its just sitting in the bucket at the moment but you get one of 3 Black Panther items a Keychain, a necklace or a bracelet? by the feel of it I think its the bracelet and I do wear bracelets but I'm not sure if I'll open it or not? I'm thinking of just leaving it closed. but anyway that was our in theater merch for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
