3 goobers floating through space...

This funny idea popped into my mind the other day so it had to be made. This is a HECK of a crossover lol. Made in Blender, Clank and Wheatley rips from their respective games. I haven't actually shared the other art with these 3 goobers where GIR is 2D. Decided to make him 3D for this one.

All around a fun lil silly piece. Feel free to use for a background if you'd like! It should be in 4K.

CHECK OUT THE ALTERNATE TOO- While posing GIR, he accidentally ended up looking like a surfer dude. So I grabbed a satellite model off of Blenderkit and heccin made it happen.

I recently discovered BlenderKit, an asset library with free and paid content. Tbh building sets is my least favorite part of rendering and I know very little about compositing, so I decided to try out some of their prebuilt scenes with my favorite mermaid OC. This one is a reasonably good match for Lake Lunvik!

I'm not sure how I feel about the compositing, but I love how fluorescent Audrey looks. I tried to get a similar effect with emission maps but this looks much better. Overall, I'm definitely enjoying the chance to play around with premade scenes!

Treat yoself to some free assets for Blender

This is probably old news to everyone but me, but there are some incredible free repositories to be found for Blender these days. These two in particular really stood out to me.

A cozy Christmas interior rendered in Blender (Cycles). Most elements in the scene were modeled from scratch, including the holiday wreath, garland and decorations on the fireplace, sofa, fireplace itself, rug, festive stockings with gifts. Additional assets were downloaded through BlenderKit to complete the scene.

The character was created in Mixamo Fuse, and I used GIMP and Microsoft Designer for post-processing. This project aims to capture the warmth and festive spirit of a holiday evening at home. Hope you enjoy it!

A personal project as a bit of change of pace. This was one of my first dives into full scale realistic Blender scene creations (with the help of some things from Blenderkit haha). I tried to go for more of a moody nostalgic feel, my family used to visit here when I was younger. It's the Food Lion (a grocery store chain) in Avon, North Carolina. Replicated more or less in Blender haha, I was using substantial Google Maps.

Believe it or not, but this was also one of the first scenes I've made where I've ran into a technical limitation of Blender. The fog glow you see ended up being a lot of manual work and not compositing. Basically setting it up the way its supposed to be set up (verified with others), my environment fog cube wasn't filling the scene properly when the render was split apart into render layers. I wanted to do render layers because I wanted the lamps and MINI headlights to glow different amounts.

So after much trial and error, and no success, I ended up still using render layers. But instead I merged more together and simply manually edited the effect with Photoshop. 0/10 not a good flow for making an animated sequence, which is what I was hoping to practice with this scene. Either way, still fun!

Oh also the MINI Cooper there was entirely modeled by me. Twas my first car model. It took some time thats for sure haha and there's still quite a few things not perfect about it.

Totally Spies-inspired living room with armory under the pink wall. Blenderkit was super helpful with the set dressing. Would try to make it messier/lived in for next time... There is no real reason for the table shot, I just wanted to put an aespa album in there lol!

I FINISHED A MASSIVE 3D MODELING PROJECT THE OTHER DAY WOOOOO!!!!!

This is Kepler's Curios, the shop that the main character of my upcomic webcomic, Escapist Fiction works at. It's owned by a retired old man who keeps the shop open just for his own passion of running it.

Shoutout to Bookgen, whatever the built-in shelf generator Blender has is called, and BlenderKit for helping speed up this process, absolute LIFESAVERS here.
