i made myself a new profile picture because i’ve been really really loving all bright rainbow colors lately, i got new pink glasses, and my hair is longer :) so fun so fun

also made a matching banner that’s just fun swirly colors!! because in case you hadn’t noticed, it’s fun

also cleaned up my intro post because i felt it was wayyyy too unnecessarily long, and the blog is all fresh and shiny and cute and new again :)

hello! i'm jean (formerly may, formerly moriah, etc. etc.) and i'm trying to make my "big tumblr comeback" now that i'm actually writing again! so i'm gonna make this as quick as i can :)

i'm an english student based in the us midwest, and i'm currently writing a novel! i keep my projects a bit more under-wraps at the moment, but i would like to hype it up a bit here and there. i write primarily gothic, literary, and/or fantasy fiction (but no speculative fiction is out of bounds!), and i have a fascination with vampires, the seattle grunge scene, and the color red.

i'm hoping to eventually build a bit of an author platform here (sort of) because i hate like, every other social media platform, but mostly i'm here to have fun, make friends, and immerse myself in the writeblr community again, because i miss it and you really can't find anything like it elsewhere online! so definitely don't be shy if you want to say hello; i'd love to chat :)

So so so. I have a few important announcements to make.

#1 my profile will be having a makeover in the following week, so expect huge changes

#2 I need to start calling my followers/readers something other than "guys" or "everyone" and stuff like that. So, my page is gonna have a certain theme, and based on that I want you guys to think of nicknames for me to call you. I'll make a poll later in the week about that. Just remember, it's what I'll be calling all of you, not just one person

#3 I'll probably make a page about myself so you can find out more stuff about me if anyone's interested

#4 here in Greece you fucking need to have an English license or something what the fuck I literally write fanfiction what do you mean study those 5000 words and go take the exam
