I found out that nautiluses have pre and post-ocular tentacles for sensing things (how exactly idk,, chemosensory maybe?) so i was testing out how that’d look on Tera.

WIP of Xeno!Wesker lost in the sauce

In the early stages he was in control but as the mutation progressed the xenomorph biology and instinct starts to take over. He begins to hear the other xenomorphs and the Queen on the station that are being kept in captivity and has episodes of intense dissociation and anxiety. He eventually loses his sight and is replaced by the senses of a xenomorph; he 'sees' through electrical impulses, vibrations and pheromones given off by other lifeforms. His hair turns platinum blond as he mutates, blood becomes slightly acidic and his tongue starts to grow teeth. Insomnia, heightened aggression, loss of appetite, difficulty speaking and recognising people are other symptoms he suffers with.

While Chris and Carlos are doing their best to keep him under control, Birkin and Luis are trying to find a way to undo what Wesker has done.

A gender connected to being a doctor and a thing. Associated with scars, blood & gore, less than ethical medical practices and a lack of empathy. Similar to doctarion, where you aren't a girl or boy, and just a doctor. This gender was made with those with NPD in mind, but can be used by anyone.

A xenogender I made with my fiance because most doctor related xenogenders are either d//ctor who related or only focus on the general medical aspect of being a doctor. :3

Bloodlines Indigo - GHB

<ID> Digital art of the Grand Highblood, Gamzee's ancestor from the webcomic Homestuck; he is seated on a throne, snarling, and gesticulating with one hand while wielding a juggling club in the other. He is a gigantic, top-heavy troll; here depicted in a buglike, xeno style that segments his limbs and gives him a long toothy muzzle. The moody purple colour of the majority of the piece accentuates the golden shine of his long back-swept spiralling horns; on his prominent dentition - sabertooth canines and outswept flattened tusks jutting up out of his mouth from both top and bottom jaw; the gold continues on the razer-sharp scything claws on each of four digits on per hand and two per foot. </ID>

The Grand Highblood for the Makara edition of the Homestuck Bloodlines Zine. I based his teeth off of a combination of musk deer and warthogs. He was fun but tricky to do; I am not quite fluent in Blender, especially posing and the fancy modifiers and math and whatever, which was instrumental in this piece. With any luck I will be able to remember how I modelled his horns, since that will be a very useful skill in the future. It involved 3 parts, IIRC: modelling a small trisection, using a curved line to indicate the general horn curve and having the section repeat along it, and applying a spiral. There must have been a taper function used as well, I think that might also have been a curve? Looks like I have forgotten it all already! Oh well, I will simply have to re-learn it next time!! This is an older photo from around 7-8 years ago, at that time Harlow would’ve been around 17. She’d been hunting salmonids since she was 13, but taking on a Steelhead solo would’ve been a big deal to her back then.

You can tell the photo’s old because Harlow doesn’t have her EVP slopsuit yet, and because she has two eyes. Weird, I know.

THIS Is the fic i’ve been lovingly referring to “a comically biblical plague amount of bugs brings a (fallen) angel of the lord to climax” i gave myself permission to be SO weird with it because neither of them is human and both of them are hiveminds but they’re different KINDS of hiveminds, and. well.

You’ll see.

Knives is curious enough to let Zazie touch as they please, to let the Worms indulge their own curiosity. He's not quite been given his own full permission, though Worms will land on him and buzz and sing and they nestle in his hair and against his hands. Zazie responds to his noises in kind, buzzing wings and chittering mandibles and chattering legs where Knives hums and sings and oscillates to a song that only he can hear. The occasional company is nice when Knives travels alone in the sands. Knowing that Zazie is there helps soothe some sort of ache Knives refuses to acknowledge even exists.
