I really do love the souls community, as while you do have people like the rude hunter here (came mid fight trying to gank me while I was fighting the crucible knight player) most others will show respect and kindness. Such as the crucible knight legend who refused to be used as a shield, legend.
Before I then instantly lost against the crucible knight, but eh they were the better player and a legend.
The happy endings are up to you! Here are some of my ideas if you're not sure. Or if you're curious.
Personally for Gascoigne, his wife doesn't leave and die, and his kids are waiting for him. He escapes beasthood and lives to see the end of the hunt.
Queen Annalise is freed from her metal-head contraption, and she is able to walk amongst the living, no longer confined by her prison.
Arianna survives the night and does not become impregnated by Odeon. Another option is that she does, but she doesn't go mad and chooses to love the baby despite it all.
Eileen survives to hunt the hunters another day, she is also free to retire peacefully if she so chooses.
Djura stays vigil over old Yharnam until (in my own canon) the beasts vanish once the night is over. He is freed from his self imposed exile and allowed to mourn the tragedy of Old Yharnam.
Henryk does not go mad, and survives the night to live another day. Perhaps this time, although much is lost, another endless hunt won't happen in his life time.
Simon survives after hiding in the hut, and when the Nightmare is over, his spirit is freed, no longer burdened by the horrors that took place.
Lady Maria does not stay vigil in the clocktower for as long as she did (implied to be a VERY long time) and her loneliness, guilt, and self imposed "punishment" is forgiven by you, the Good Hunter. Since she is part of the Nightmare, once it is over, her spirit is able to move on. Gameplay wise you HAVE to kill her to get to the fishing hamlet, and there is no way around this. The happiest ending is arriving earlier, and freeing her from the vigil.
Iosefka does not get killed by the imposter, and her genuine attempts to help the civilians are/provide a safe dwelling is successful. She survives the night.
Odeon Chapel Dweller survives the night, but with all the (right) npcs/civilians sent to him, he is not longer outcasted by Yharnam society due to his appearance. Instead he is venerated for his kindness and ability to provide a safe space whilst so many others focused on only helping themselves.
NOTE: These are my takes on a happy end, you have your own version as well. Would love to hear them in the tags or discussion chat.
I've been compared to the doll from bloodbourne twice this year. I've never played bloodborne, and have no desire to (sorry), but I genuinely wish I knew how to take this.
Hey all! I got a Twitch stream schedule up! It is as follows:
Monday: 3-5pm PST - Bloodbourne Playthrough while I try to remember how to play and where I'm supposed to go now.
Tuesday: 6:30-8pm PST - Silent Hill: the Short Message Playthrough while I complain the whole time.
Thurday: 6:30-8pm PST - Dead by Daylight Stream while I work on leveling up my killers to Tier 3.
Saturday: 6:30-9:30pm PST - Psychonauts Playthrough while I commentate and complain about the Playstation port, plus dropping some bits of PJ lore.
Sunday: 3-5pm PST - Pathologic 2 Playthrough while I wander aimlessly and try to figure out what I'm supposed to be doing.
I'm just starting to figure this out and I'll test out this schedule, but it will probably change as I get into the swing of things. This is mainly me to try to finish up games I've already started, though I will be playing Psychonauts from start.
You can find my Twitch channel schedule here: https://www.twitch.tv/molonara/schedule
However, I want to know if anyone else had the problem of its difficulty being too easy.
When I first played the game, I felt it too easy. I managed to defeat the cleric beast & blood-starved first try, and farther gascoigne second try all before I figured out how to level. With it, then only taking 2 trys with the rest of the bosses in the game, with ne only learning how to equip the gun until Gehrman fight.
I do want to make 2 notes as it may be the reason for my problems with game. (If so my fault)
1. I started playing bloodborne directly after I had 100% completed dark souls 3, so naturally, I would still be wired for the game style, but I never found the later game bosses difficult like I still did for DS3.
2. I have not finished the DLC. I got it, got to Ludwig, killed him first try (even though I was journey 3 so it felt like he had far to much health and not a lot of damage being dealt to me.) Got the moonlight greatsword then forgot about it. So, I don't know if the DLC is harder than the base game.
If the solution to my problem is to go back to bloodborne as it's been a few months since I've played it, this time doing a new run and with the DLC I will. I love the game. it's not like you have to force me to play it again.
I just want to know if anyone else had this problem?
OK so... bloodbourne questions and potential spoilers
(1) Why is Ludwig a horse?? Is there any lore explanation or... is he just like that? Is the horse form symbolic?
(2) Queen Annalise makes you a vileblood if you follow certain decisions so... when you become a Great One, does she just wait forever for the Hunter to return not knowing that they're now a wormy offspring?
