I really do love the souls community, as while you do have people like the rude hunter here (came mid fight trying to gank me while I was fighting the crucible knight player) most others will show respect and kindness. Such as the crucible knight legend who refused to be used as a shield, legend.

I was committing crimes against Erathia but then I REALLY wanted to play a fromsoft game.

All of the ones I have are on my PS4 100%'ed, except my second copy of Elden Ring on my pc. So I shall continue my second attempt at 100% completion of Elden Ring in prep for the dlc.

I mean I love Alexander of course (especially after radahn lol). And I like how Boc keeps pursuing beauty despite the fact that tailoring is useless.

I love Ranni. But ever since seeing the frenzied flame ending and especially since reading @eskawrites's Elden Ring AU Version 2 I REALLY love Melina.

I'll tell you who I DON'T like though. That Loathsome Dung Eater. He is a real piece of work.

messmer seems like the amalgamation of everything the golden order deems undesirable - snakes, scales, horns (his spear seems to be adorned in omen horns). the red hair makes me think this is one of marika/radagons children. ive seen some people speculate this is miquella, after the corruption of mohg, but i think miquella WANTED mohg to kidnap him and bring him to mohg's palace for his blood collection quest (miquella needs blood to nourish his tree and mohgwyn palace is conveniently placed on top of a tree stump, right underneath radahn's battlefield, this video and especially this video explains this theory so well) so i dont think messmer and miquella are the same. not to mention we literally see miquella at the end of the trailer and he's as blonde as ever. however, he could be the third, unmentioned child of marika/radagon. marika was known to toss her undesirable children away (margit, mohg), so i wouldnt put it past her to lock away another child in a dreamworld or smth. the nascent butterly = miquella, aeonian butterfly = malenia, and we thought the smoldering butterfly represented melina, since she's a kindling maiden. but messmer seems to be using fire as well, so he would fit as the third child.

his role in this dlc is really hard to speculate on rn im not even gonna pretend i know how his and miquella's story will play out! also bbygirl your arms are SO long
