When I saw Wonderland and watched the movie for the first time, I really wanted a world like Wonderland to come, and I had expectations that such a world could come someday

What if there were goodbye's that could relieve just a little bit of sadness while keeping the preciousness intact? Even if it's an illusion,

The things left behind are limited and the memories are gradually forgotten and fading, so it's not just that we miss each other alone, we ask each other how we are doing, have we eaten, what the weather is like, and as we each spend another day, when we remember each other, we feel the feeling of having a beer, the sound of glasses clinking together. Even if it doesn't happen, if you can feel it in some form, whether it's artificial intelligence or something else, then wouldn't it break down a little less? I was idly imagining things, but when I returned to reality, the regrets I had put away came flooding back

These days, I feel more warmth and preciousness towards people. I can't be a good person to everyone, but seeing my sunbaenim made me think again that I want to be a good person to everyone who helped me live

I don't know if it's a movie I happened to watch with a senior I'm not close to, but it's a movie that leaves a deep impression on me

I met a warm and great sunbaenim in my life and watched a warm and good movie.

It's really scary in the idol industry and meeting real nice people is rare and I'm glad people like bogum exist to appreciate people like seventeen at those dark times where they needed appreciation. My Taekook timeline thoughts

I'mma try this. Let me preface by saying I'm baby Army, coming up to a year. I pick stuff up fast and I have ADHD so I hyperfixate and deep dive but there's definitely stuff I don't know/am still trying to figure out. I ALSO got exposed to a lot of rumour and speculation without much foundation early on so I'm trying to remove that from my thinking.

2013-2014

Tae is instrumental in bringing Jungkook out of himself. They're CLEARLY close. Initial puppy love vibes.

2014-2015

This always feels to me that the attraction is strongest/most obvious on Jungkook's side. I don't think it's one-sided but Jungkook wears his heart in his EYES and Taehyung finds it easier to centre himself, perhaps. 2015-2017

Jungkook is what, 18-20 at this point, Taehyung 20-22? (my maths is appalling. I think that's right) and they seem to have exactly the kind of relationship that two young guys figuring themselves out have ie; DRAMATIC.

Sweet and clingy and lots of eyes and touching. Doesn't seem beyond the realms of possibility that kissing/whatever might have occurred. They're young and besotted. But it also seems to be a time of some pretty intense down moments like whatever the heck happened around Tokyo.

If you think about the Inkigayo video where JK seems a little bit stroppy with Tae for not being there sooner - well, devolve his emotional maturity by 6 or 7 years. I know people say JK doesn't like when he's not getting attention and it's supported by some clips, I feel. Like the slight drama with Bogum. I can imagine this combined with scary queer feelings combined with *SPECULATION INCOMING* being seperated on camera*, against their natural instinct to be close, would create a pressure cooker of Feels which would only ever come out in drama.

Also: Stigma is released in this time, Namjoon says Tae has his own story about it. I have wondered if Stigma might have been related to HYYH but I don't think the storyline bled into the songs, did they? Please correct me if I'm wrong there.

*side note: Dispatch threat to reveal a same sex couple then Dispatch suddenly getting BTS exclusives is an intriguing theory but I think even if it's nonsense or about a different group, I imagine it would create nervous ripples throughout various agencies? Maybe seperating Taekook was precaution? I don't know. Just a thought.

2018

It's well known JK and Tae were having some of their worst times during 2018 and disbandment talks. What intrigues me is that Jin says JK isolated himself and didn't talk to the members.

But Yoongi sends Tae and JK the supportive text message and Tae says he and JK read the messages together and cried. JK is isolated and not talking to other members but he's with Tae at this point? Interesting.

(I don't know if anyone else gets this but there seems to be a kind of implied "Well except V" in a lot of these stories. JK in his 2023 Sirius interview "I didn't really get a chance to see the members this year." and yet he's with Tae on a number of confirmed occasions and maybe other unconfirmed? Almost like Tae is aside from the collective members when it comes to JK.)

I feel like intentions might have been set here and some kind of commitment made, though I'm not sure it's a "together" commitment. Just an undetermined milestone of things getting much heavier than they were. An admission, a mutual understanding, a commitment to stop the drama... I don't know.

2019-2021

Oh I suppose we have BTS: ITS1 filmed in 2020 and as we all know, Tae and JK have been awkward for a while and the only way Jungkook wants to be near Tae is if Jimin tricks him into going. 🙄

They just seem real sweet and close these years. No particular dramas between the two of them are cropping up for me, correct me if I'm wrong. JK has his tattooist nonsense which just feels like a silly storm in a dumb teacup. Still being seperated and forced to pretend they barely like each other in lives but that's just Bighit Streisand Effecting themselves. 😇

If not 2018 then something in here feels like it might have been the actual commitment.

2022 onwards

Demonstrable time spent together. Confirmed private time where JK hangs out with Tae's friends. Unconfirmed time too. WHATEVER WAS IN THE WATER FOR DREAM PREMIERE. Obviously Jennie weirdness in late '22, early '23 but that feels so much like a press stunt that I just J-Hope side eye it.

I once looked up if there was any telltale signs of fanservice when I was newborn army and so confused. A lot of the response was just "if it looks gay, it's fanservice." LOL but one person replied, paraphrased, "Disregard stages, photoshoots, some of the promotional lives, anything under direct agency management. Consider whether they actually interact privately where nobody is." and I feel like that kind of sums up Taekook since 2022 when BTS are on hiatus and they're still in each other's orbit.

2023

The episode really showed just how fun it is to know/be friends with Tae. Like he's such a joyful person. And he's so good and spreading it across everyone involved. Like has he spent more time lately with JK? Sure. Did he vmin the living daylights out of this trip? 100%.

It made me happy just watching him. I can only imagine how it feels to be sucked into his joy vortex. I just know he's that one friend that connects all the friend groups. Like if you went to a party he's the common thread and he will just effortless move between everyone.

He just seems to experience life really well. And that's no small feat for anybody. I'm not sure I can explain this well. But he's an incredibly famous, rich, handsome and talented person. And that gives you more access to most things. But we constantly see Tae just be happy and appreciate simple things. Like splashing in a pool or riding a little yellow scooter. I think about when JM described him as the most down to earth and JK said he liked his innocence. It feels like it all comes from the same place and one of the ways it manifests is just watching him truly appreciate and enjoy everything and everyone around him.

It’s not surprising to me that every person who meets Taehyung immediately dotes on him and spends only good words about his persona, imo he’s the one of the most authentic idols we have in the industry. Bts members called him a happiness preacher, Bogum said he was born to be loved, how many idols look up to him, how many friends he has in every field, the way he travels with his high school friends and take them to pretty places. He’s a sweetheart.

I feel the jealousy evolved a bit over the years. Early on, I think the jealous moments did actually spring from uncertainty about whether the other might be attracted to someone else. Like Jk’s reaction to Tae admiring Jimin’s muscles in front of him, or to Tae going to talk with those girls during that mv shoot, or to everything concerning Tae and Park Bogum.

As they grew older and more secure, I think that jealousy turned into a frustration about not being able to publicly claim each other while others were able to show physical intimacy with their partner. I think there’s a clear growth in the way they deal with jealousy in their relationship and it aligns perfectly with them growing up.

I think especially Tae has struggled with not being able to claim Jk as his publicly and I feel this may be one of the reasons why Tae has mentioned Jk as much as he has during his lives and why the Dream premiere seemed to be such a big deal. Although not inherently romantic, those moments were them laying some sort of claim in each other. Something I can imagine important to them, even if it’s only being perceived as them laying claim on each other as friends.

If anything, the taegum situation always gave me unrequited love/ one-sided vibes. Let's be real tae is always overly friendly and obviously a social butterfly, especially pre-2018. Developing a close friendship with another male is just his thing.

I think with the situation with bh not in their favor and the overwhelming fame they got starting 2017, he wanted an escape. And I can imagine kook fuming even if tae would've explained the nature of his relationship with bogum.

I think jk just always thought bogum had eyes on taehyung and never changed his mind as the years went by. That bb when bogum came to visit backstage was awkward as hell even the presence of the members there couldn't disperse the awkwardness. Tae kept his distance, which is weird, and Kook was either side eyeing bogum, tae, or both or being overly friendly with bogum ? However, If I were just coming off a 16-hour flight at 6am in the morning, from a country with 13-hour time difference, I wouldn't have the energy to stay awake let along get ready and go to some birthday parties for a few days. I found it hard with 6-hour time difference (I arrived in the morning and spent the better part the day sleeping and had no energy to do anything for several days after), imagine what Tae had to deal with.

  its hard for me to make the point im trying to make here. basically what im saying is, even if there werent large living reptiles in our early history, and ALL those stories form ALL those peoples from vastly different cultures and even across vast oceans with no contact with one another, were based on the uncovered fossils of long exting reptiles, and they called them dragons and made up tales about them still being alive and brave knights slaying them etc. they would still be dragon bones because thats what they were called upon their discovery and beyond a few fanciful things like fire breathing and wether they were extinct or not, what ancient peoples understood as dragons is literally no different from what we call dinosaurs, why change the name? why not just say they were long dead before the first humans ever existed? its not like it was some ancient obscure name that they updated or something, dragon legends are fucking ubiquitous and of all creatures who supposedly never existed its the most popular by far, even if we disregard the question of why it leaves the question of how they managed to call dragons dinosaurs when for thousands of years we called them dragons, must have taken a lot of effort to educate people in this way, but again it begs the fucking question why?

 of all the posts i make these are the riskiest, because the point im making is abstract and its one where only very smart people are really gonna see what im saying even if they disagree and to most people this is just gonna make me look stupid and insane. imagine there were legends from the dark ages of a completely unique creature, lets call it the Bogum, its a spherical animal, perfectly round and huge, basically a huge furry ball, and every culture from around the world had legends of the Bogum, at first talked about as an everyday ordinary animal, and after hundreds of years discussed as a rare animal, and then eventually after hundreds of years described as a potentially mythic animal which never existed, then hundreds of years later a fossil of a massive spherical animal is discovered but this is a cardat, totally different from a bogum. its just nonsense.

I think the Bogum thing was a joke born from a little nugget of truth when he was quite young and dramatic.

I can't see it happening these days. Not when he knows how important the Woogas are to Tae and how he doesn't actually have to choose because JK is integrated. It's a lot less cute aged 26 and actually I do think ultimatums like that are kind of toxic in adult relationships. (This is not to say I thought JK was toxic back then. That was clearly a bit of silliness and being young and hormonal.)

But imagining? I think Tae would say Jungkook then immediately post a picture of himself with Seojoon because he's a troll 😂

Congratulations - Bogum

You hold the award between both of your hands, bowing to the other actors around you. You brush your hair away from your face, taking your seat next to your co-star, Seo Kangjoon.

"Congratulations, you deserve it," Seojoon smiles, gesturing towards the trophy in your hands.

"I thought Song Hyekyo would win," you admit, "Encounter was really popular."

Kangjoon nods in agreement. A comfortable silence falls between the two of you as the show continues. By the time the show is over both you and him are ready to leave. You are stopped in the hall of the auditorium by another actor. You recognize him, anyone could, Park Bogum the "nation's boyfriend" titleholder. You are younger than him despite your earlier start in the industry.

"Congratulations on your award," he blurts, you smile gently humming.

"Thank you, I'm surprised you didn't get one yourself," you admit.

You look around realizing that Kangjoon had left you when you stopped to talk to Bogum. You let out a sigh, not that you expected your friend to wait, he had been complaining about wanting to leave for around an hour. He still could have at least mentioned that he was going to leave first.

"Something wrong?" Bogum asks looking around himself.

You shake your head: "Kangjoon isn't here, I was looking for him."

Bogum hums nodding his head, continuing to look around, in an attempt to find the odd-eyed actor. You pull your phone out of your bag laughing at the text Kangjoon sent you.

"He left, he said he'll take mt to lunch tomorrow to make up for not celebrating with me tonight," you laugh, turning your phone towards Bogum to show him the message.

"Sorry, did he leave because I stopped you?" Bogum murmurs, you shake your head.

"No, he's been ready to leave for hours now," you explain, brushing off his worries, "he doesn't like sitting in one place for a long time."

You can tell that there is another question on the tip of Bogum's tongue that he is pushing away. You can already guess what it is and why it is hard for him to ask. Both of you are actors, both of you get the questions of whether you are dating a co-star are not every time you film a new show. You let out a small laugh, hanging your bag on your shoulder once more.

"You don't have to be afraid to ask, we're not seeing each other, Kangjoon is friends with my older brother," you explain.

"I stopped you because I have been a fan of yours for a long time," Bogum admits, "I still feel starstruck speaking with you right now," the formality in his words feels foreign since he is older than you.

"You don't have to speak so formally, if anything I should be speaking with more formality to you," you trail off, "you're older than me," you remind, "I only started acting two years before you."

Bogum lets out a shy laugh covering his mouth with the back of his hand while he laughs. You hate eating alone and Kangjoon is not going with you anymore, it is awkward to ask Bogum. The words sit at the forefront of your mind, but it takes you longer to ask than you would like to admit.

"Since Kangjoon left me, do you want to get dinner with me?"

"Of course," Bogum rushes, "it would be an honor."

Hello! If they ask you why you believe in taekook, what would you say? And on the other hand, what do you think happened to Bogum and Tae's friendship?

Hi anon!

This might get long, because it seems insufficient to simply state ‘ít's their bodylanguage". Let me first state that I don't think it's possible for anyone to be absolutely sure that Taehyung and Jungkook are together. We see so little of their actual lives, it's impossible for anyone to be 100 percent sure of this. Having said that, I do believe it's possible for us to be fairly sure that they are a couple.

I wouldn't be able to explain my believe in Taekook in just one sentence or by just one situation that's shown their connection. BTS as a group are very close. Some of the members are also physically comfortable with each other. The way it's normal for men to show skinship in South Korea is a thing that has made me question whether I was misunderstanding Tae and Jk's relationship a lot in the beginning. It was confusing to me because on the one hand being queer isn't much accepted in South Korea, but on the other hand it isn't weird for men to hold hands or be touchy in general. So it took me some time. I went through a lot of footage and I payed a lot of attention to how Jk and Tae interacted, but also to the way they interact with the other members. And... it's just different. For instance, we all know this moment:

Can you imagine this happening with any of the other members? I cannot, not even with Jimin who both Tae and Jk are very comfortable with. There's just a sense of safety they have with each other. No touch seems unwanted or too much. You can also just tell that their touches are calming (except those that are not calming at all ;) ) to both of them. It seems cliche, but they really are each other's safe place. To explain this to others is so difficult, because it always comes down to perception. And for every moment I could use as 'proof' someone else could come up with a debunk. To me it's just the amount of instances I've seen with Tae and Jk. It's consistent, it's almost something predictable at this point... I just know that whenever we see Tae and Jk together, they'll be drifting towards each other.

As I said at the start of this reply, simply stating "bodylanguage" isn't enough. An understanding of context is also very important. Understanding that South Korea is not a safe place for queer people and that therefore Tae and Jk's relationship has to actively be hidden. They cannot show the extent of their feelings to the public. So if they seem awkward or dismissive, the reason for that will probably be feeling unsafe as opposed to them not loving each other. BigHit has tried very hard to make it seem like Tae and Jk aren't close and if someone were to not pay attention to how they actually interact, that person might believe what BigHit tried to convey. To me one of the biggest 'weird' things is the way they went so hard on Tae and Jimin being soulmates, while never adressing the close (to my eyes closer than Jimin and Tae's bond) bond Tae and Jk obviously have. These days especcialy it's so obvious that Tae and Jk spend heeps of time together, while Jimin is hardly ever mentioned even. Not to take away from Jimin being important to them, he obviously is, just... Tae and Jk are more important to each other.

To kinda conclude... because I could go on and on and on about this... To me Taehyung and Jk just react to each other differently than any of the other members. Their eye contact is more intense, with a way longer duration than just 'normal' eyecontact. Their touches linger and never seem to be enough, while with other members they might also touch and cuddle, but it's always for shorter periods and with a definite ending. When they're not touching, they're looking. They are always checking out the way the other responds to things. They take care of each other's well being to an extend none of the other members do. Aside from all this... there are so many instances on camera that show clear desire, attraction, jealousy, hurt (never underestimate the 'only love can hurt like this'). It's continued patterns in their relationship that make me quite convinced that they are together romantically.

As to Park Bogum and Taehyung.. I'm not really sure what you're asking. You mean do I think they were together?

We don't like how tae has been behaving all along BUT like see things from his perspective too! We are told the story largely from y/ns perspective and not from tae's. There might be reasons behind. We all know y/ns hesitation regarding expressing her feelings for tae, maybe he has the same? Maybe he hinted them before but y/n didn't pick it up? And he stopped, thinking that's definitely stupid, for, come on, fear of losing your friendship over some unrequited feelings is very real. ( Y/n too is guilty of it) I'm not justifying is behaviour but saying there might be more to it. Plus, i love how y/n stands up for herself FINALLY in front of tae, and not letting him dictate the course. Bro, because no deserves to feel like they are someone's convenience. Also, it's hard to adjust to the changing dynamic of any relationship. If one was someone's priority and suddenly they are not, you tend to hurt. And if no one is taking your side, you usually react the same way as tae does here- albeit not publicly, cause people prefer to wallow in private- but it's not unheard. Y/n on the other hand, ALWAYS had people to support her. She too didn't express her feelings and wanted more from him WITHOUT letting him know. How is that any better? Tae doing the same thing riles everyone up. We heard he is not a good friend too, but maybe does things for her that he publically does not acknowledge? All I'm saying things are from Y/Ns' POV. and maybe he started dating Hana to move on from her but failed miserably? It's not like he doesn't love Hana which he does and that's why he spent time with her, but he wanted to sure of his feelings so that he may not hurt them both before letting her into his group. But because they insisted he introduced her before actually evaluating his own stand completely and hence hurt both her and y/n. I'm NOT justifying his acts but saying that because we see it from her pov we might be ignoring his, and a story always has two sides to it. ANYWAYS. Can't wait to see where this goes. And Bogum, oh my goddd. The way he handled the situation, get me a man like that pls🥺

Okay but can I just say you literally just came from heaven with this ask!!!! It’s exactly how I feel about the whole situation! I still want to encourage everyone to have their own opinions but it’s been really discouraging seeing everyone react like Tae is this huge villain for the way things have panned out. Like his friends all took Baby Jung’s side for reasons he can probably guess but which have never been confirmed to him. Yes, if he knew how y/n felt, he should have talked to her about it. Yes, it was dumb to get into a relationship if he wasn’t totally certain of it but like you said, he also got outed before he was ready.

I love my boy Tae and while he isn’t perfect by any means, I think his actions are understandable even if he went to the extreme. But I guess that’s also the beauty of self-insert fics, y’all are really empathizing with y/n and right now Tae does seem like the bad guy but try to imagine it from his perspective.

He gets a girlfriend and before he can even tell anyone, his best friend disappears for 3 days, all his friends blame him for it and his relationship gets outed before he’s ready, his friends continue to hate on him except for y/n who is trying to be supportive but he can still feel her pulling away, then all of the sudden SHE has a boyfriend? He can cope with that, that’s fair even if it does seem a little coincidental but then he find out this guy said the L word to her (something he hasn’t been able to say in over a decade of knowing her)? He sees red. He doesn’t know why. He hasn’t accepted his feelings but he also hasn’t had time to process anything in between him and Hana getting together and all this. Now y/n is threatening to end their friendship? He’s panicking, y’all!

Again, his actions might still be wrong but he feels like his life is spiraling out of control and he’s just reacting and not thinking. He’s gonna get it together, I promise!

Anyway, you took the words right out of my mouth so THANK YOU for this! I was just telling my bestie that I was losing motivation to write the end of this AU because what if people didn’t forgive Tae in the end no matter what he does? I hope you’ll all keep in mind his perspective even if I don’t always write from it! And also, it’s an angsty fic in general but it’s going to have a happy ending!

Sorry if this was rambly or didn’t make sense. I’ve been trying to keep my opinions to myself but I love this Tae so much even though he’s an idiot!
