half these jealous moments i see edited online i feel are really just taekook wanting to be the one allowed to be close to the other. the way it’s portrayed though is as if one of them is mad at whichever other member is getting attention when all of bts are touchy. i get a little sad sometimes when i see it but then again that’s just what’s happening in front of the cameras

Hi anon!

I feel the jealousy evolved a bit over the years. Early on, I think the jealous moments did actually spring from uncertainty about whether the other might be attracted to someone else. Like Jk’s reaction to Tae admiring Jimin’s muscles in front of him, or to Tae going to talk with those girls during that mv shoot, or to everything concerning Tae and Park Bogum.

As they grew older and more secure, I think that jealousy turned into a frustration about not being able to publicly claim each other while others were able to show physical intimacy with their partner. I think there’s a clear growth in the way they deal with jealousy in their relationship and it aligns perfectly with them growing up.

I think especially Tae has struggled with not being able to claim Jk as his publicly and I feel this may be one of the reasons why Tae has mentioned Jk as much as he has during his lives and why the Dream premiere seemed to be such a big deal. Although not inherently romantic, those moments were them laying some sort of claim in each other. Something I can imagine important to them, even if it’s only being perceived as them laying claim on each other as friends.

Also planning a holiday together, isn't odd, what's odd is planning a holiday in secret only to reveal it after the fact. The fact they are open about it means it's not too private and not scandalous.

It just means he likes listening to the same song whilst driving, and red wine is rank so I agree with him. Also, JK prefers white wine too, just so you know.

Tae's from Gyeonggi-do, so why even state that? However, who is from Busan that we know he's close to also? Well, there's only JK (whom he can't seem to stop touching at every opportunity) or Jimin (his frenemy bestie), make of that what you will...

However, If I were just coming off a 16-hour flight at 6am in the morning, from a country with 13-hour time difference, I wouldn't have the energy to stay awake let along get ready and go to some birthday parties for a few days. I found it hard with 6-hour time difference (I arrived in the morning and spent the better part the day sleeping and had no energy to do anything for several days after), imagine what Tae had to deal with.

Taehyung, is able to have friends that he has similar interests and have friendship jewellery with... it does not mean he's doing the horizontal tango with whichever Tom, Dick or Park that seems to cross his path.

Maybe, it's possible they are collabing on a song together.

Congratulations - Bogum

(Admin: Mitzy, this is not my greatest work, I hope that you still liked it anon)

You hold the award between both of your hands, bowing to the other actors around you. You brush your hair away from your face, taking your seat next to your co-star, Seo Kangjoon.

"Congratulations, you deserve it," Seojoon smiles, gesturing towards the trophy in your hands.

"I thought Song Hyekyo would win," you admit, "Encounter was really popular."

Kangjoon nods in agreement. A comfortable silence falls between the two of you as the show continues. By the time the show is over both you and him are ready to leave. You are stopped in the hall of the auditorium by another actor. You recognize him, anyone could, Park Bogum the "nation's boyfriend" titleholder. You are younger than him despite your earlier start in the industry.

"Congratulations on your award," he blurts, you smile gently humming.

"Thank you, I'm surprised you didn't get one yourself," you admit.

You look around realizing that Kangjoon had left you when you stopped to talk to Bogum. You let out a sigh, not that you expected your friend to wait, he had been complaining about wanting to leave for around an hour. He still could have at least mentioned that he was going to leave first.

"Something wrong?" Bogum asks looking around himself.

You shake your head: "Kangjoon isn't here, I was looking for him."

Bogum hums nodding his head, continuing to look around, in an attempt to find the odd-eyed actor. You pull your phone out of your bag laughing at the text Kangjoon sent you.

"He left, he said he'll take mt to lunch tomorrow to make up for not celebrating with me tonight," you laugh, turning your phone towards Bogum to show him the message.

"Sorry, did he leave because I stopped you?" Bogum murmurs, you shake your head.

"No, he's been ready to leave for hours now," you explain, brushing off his worries, "he doesn't like sitting in one place for a long time."

You can tell that there is another question on the tip of Bogum's tongue that he is pushing away. You can already guess what it is and why it is hard for him to ask. Both of you are actors, both of you get the questions of whether you are dating a co-star are not every time you film a new show. You let out a small laugh, hanging your bag on your shoulder once more.

"You don't have to be afraid to ask, we're not seeing each other, Kangjoon is friends with my older brother," you explain.

"I stopped you because I have been a fan of yours for a long time," Bogum admits, "I still feel starstruck speaking with you right now," the formality in his words feels foreign since he is older than you.

"You don't have to speak so formally, if anything I should be speaking with more formality to you," you trail off, "you're older than me," you remind, "I only started acting two years before you."

Bogum lets out a shy laugh covering his mouth with the back of his hand while he laughs. You hate eating alone and Kangjoon is not going with you anymore, it is awkward to ask Bogum. The words sit at the forefront of your mind, but it takes you longer to ask than you would like to admit.

"Since Kangjoon left me, do you want to get dinner with me?"

"Of course," Bogum rushes, "it would be an honor."

Boyfriend material

Late 2018 till mid 2019 was the most suspicious time for me. There was a period when I genuinely thought taekook are not as close as they were behind the curtains. On one hand we were getting continuous updates of Tae with his other friends (Park Bogum, vacation with wooga) Jungkook was spending more time with jhope, BTS members and jimin in particular (no i never thought jikook was possible, never gave me that vibe) but it made me think if some differences are going on between taekook. Especially when in BV4 jungkook said he only met jimin and jhope in a month holiday. I know partners don't have to be attached at hip but a month without meeting was too much. I was upset so I went back to 2018 timeline where Taekook were more freer. The whole timeline became clear to me.

If you remember 2017 was a separation stage of taekook by Bighit we only got a selca but a lot of scenes were edited but atleast we had so many things to pacify us like dispatch posting about them, their interactions at award shows, them slipping sometimes but 2019 was so weird. Nothing behind the scenes, superficial interactions which can be called fan service or interactions as a band member. Yes they both reacted to each other but everything was so normalised if you look at their interactions with others and it was non-frequent. Especially Jungkook was shown non-approaching on camera when he is told to do so, otherwise with edits.

2019 was an altogether different separation era for me. Especially former months. They hardly had any interactions on concert. Anpanman interaction stopped, DNA interaction stopped. Infact so show me, I show you stopped for a while. I think Brazil we got better interaction and Japan too (no fancams allowed). Dispatch who was notorious in posting about taekook started posting them with other members, that I love you sign which was a sort of secret sign between taekook now became a group sign. Bighit was smart, it gave us taekook moments sporadically and so edited but hyped jikook so much in 2019 that it looked to me like they were trying to tell see they are band members but their bond isn't that great as compared to other members. I think concert moments were restrained due to the fact they wanted to believe even though members were performing fan service it's on the spur moment between members who are close and comfortable to do it. That jikook walk in the concert was directed by Tae himself smh. So people who are smart enough understand fan service moments are directed earlier even taekook ones what brings beauty to them is creativity they add on stage.

I think this agressiveness by the company took a toll on Taehyung. He really wasn't up with things. Their exclusive things were made public, they are not allowed to sit together, have to blantatly lie on camera, all of this was maybe difficult for a free soul like Tae. Jungkook on the other hand was engaged in so many group activities I think there was a disbalance at one point in 2019.

My saving grace was Tae's subtle eye moments in award shows, his body intune with Jungkook, that iconic vlive one anon mentioned and them trying to be near each other at concerts despite constrained interactions. But it was really bad to the point army in general noticed Jungkook's awkwardness in taekook interactions and that is why I think Tae's imagination comment on weverse blew up so much. I'll come to this but I want to touch in the topic why I think this happened.

After 2017 seperation by bighit, it was surprising we got all those cut scenes in the form of bangtan bombs from January 2018. I think two factors were at play- one disbandment talks (taekook relationship was a part at play) the other their contract renewal in May 2018. This was to pacify members especially taekook. Remember when Jungkook kept on telling he wanted to tell us something I am still waiting on that coz it stopped after contract renewal. They became so agressive in floating their ship, after contact renewal, that they butchered taekook moments, focus shifted from hyung line. As RM said, they would have disbanded again if Covid didn't happen.

Coming back to that Tae's comment when #taekookisoverParty trended you can see the shift in their interactions. Taehyung started responding in English so people don't take things out of context and taekook moments started happening again.

You see 2019 was utter load of shit (pardon my language) because of Bighit and their horse's vision. Can you imagine two people who are not sitting together in award shows, not interacting in concerts so much, not meeting behind the scenes according to company are sharing hotel rooms (may 2019), their interactions became so natural, their content has increased, now they are hugging in GDA. If that seperation publicly was not fabricated, I don't know what is true anymore. They had to do that SOOP conversation to not take any blame on themselves.

That's why I don't really like the company and BangPD. Protecting Taekook I understand, protecting the company I also understand but butchering characters of real people to the point people misunderstand them I don't.

I am sorry what started as Suspicious moment turned into a rant. I was with them during this period and it did hurt like hell.

Thank you for sharing your perspective as someone who was around through all of that time!  I was not, so I always find it interesting to hear from people who were.

I especially want to emphasize this part of what you said because it really seems this way to me too:

I feel like the separation itself is obvious if you watch Big Hit content critically and watch non-BH content at all.  I could see maybe believing they were genuinely less close for a few years if there wasn’t so much footage of them being extremely close in non-official content.  I could see maybe buying the ITS conversation if I had been taking it for granted that they were less close.

But after noticing all the discrepancies between official and non-official content, paying attention to all those little details, that narrative -- the one that huge factions of this fandom believe -- simply doesn’t make sense to me.  It doesn’t fit the facts if I look at all of them together.

Personally, though, I have a hard time making blanket statements about the morality of how the situation was handled.  I certainly think that it could have been handled better, and obviously the whole idea of needing to hide because of bigoted social norms is incredibly messed up, but with the exception of physically separating Taehyung and Jungkook from each other with the double standards that they did, it’s just too hard to know who was making which decisions.

As far as the character assassination (which is probably an extreme way of putting it, but hopefully you know what I mean) of Taehyung and Jungkook as a result of all of this, I honestly kind of doubt anyone foresaw the way all of that would play out, and it’s clear that there are always going to be people who hate on the members or have understandings of the members that don’t align with those of other fans.  That’s inevitable.  So even though it’s frustrating that a lot of people dismiss their bond, whether they even care about shipping or any of that side of things, it’s hard to lay the blame for that in any one particular place.

 Sometime back, someone asked me about Tae’s friendship with Bogum and if it had anything to do with Jin, so here’s the very delayed answer. 

It’s not the first time I’ve been asked this but this is the first time I bothered to look further into it and with the help of some people from the cc, managed to compile this. 

Disclaimer: This is a little compilation of TaexBogum from information readily found on the internet for those curious about their friendship and in no way meant to probe into his circle of friends unnecessarily. I don't know and don't claim to know more than what they have chosen to show publicly. 

The question that started this whole thing:

And the comments/thoughts by various people on this matter:

- Different anon but now i'm intrigued as to why some ARMYs think there was anything going on btwn Tae & Park Bogum. Can some anons list down any suspicions they have about them? 😅 Seems like it'll be good fic material lol

- I personally never had any doubts. It seems really similar to what Tae does with his wooga squad. But because Bogum is just one person, people immediately joked about dating. At least I always took it as a joke. I never knew there was serious dating claims going around. - another different anon - the jeju island trip was the most intriguing part to me when speaking of bogum and tae. also the pics and videos seem very domestic and romantic. however, the fact taehyung recently said he wants to go on a 10 days vacation to jeju island with the members kind of changed my mind about it - i think he really likes the place, and when you like a place why not visit it with your friends? bogum and tae are very close, i think its adorable they traveled there together. also he just got back to korea and missed him and its nice they did something fun together. i must say that i do think theres a possibility tae had a crush on him back then, but i dont think there was something more between them. also, i think its important to state that a crush can coexist with unrequited feelings, so i dont think his feelings for jin were any less. All this will just stay under the speculation/imagination territory since there's no way to verify them. 😂😂😂

- Now that you mention it this way, Jin's word choice of 'Let's break up/Let's end this relationship' is rather peculiar. And even though Jin always teases the boys about dates, like that 'hoe-ing' tweet. But he has never put himself in that kind of joke with anyone. Hmmm. Or, seeing as how Taejin went together matchy matchy with Bogum to the concert and how Bogum was praising Jin after the LY concert, to me, there seems to be no hard feelings. Maybe Jin was slightly jealous that his boyfriend was going on a trip alone with his friend leaving him at home. Tae posted the selfie to tease Jin and Jin joked about it. 😂😂😂 So many possibilities.

- Different anon but i simply thought that the taejin tweet photo with the caption "thx❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️" was to thank the fans that came to the Bangkok concert. But now knowing the chronology of events that happened: 15-21 April - Tae & Bogum trip to Jeju 22 & 23 April - Wings concert in Bangkok 24 April - Taejin wearing matching hoodies at the Airport For Tae to tweet a selca of just him & Jin (Jin's unflattering photo lol 🤣), now it has made me "???????" okay guys thanks for making me curious for no reason 😂 Also i have a question since the reply to that tweet was "No... that's too much" & "Let's break up" https://mobile.twitter.com/BTS_twt/status/856113742731333632 , how do the fans know it was Jin who tweeted that? Or do we all just assumed it was Jin by the assumption of Jin didn't like how he looked in that photo? 😅

Tae went to Big Bang's concert with Bogum, and is joined by Jin. Widespread, most people know that Tae and Bogum went to watch Big Bang's concert together, I'm not sure if they also know that Jin was present as well and there are photos of the trio together.

Tae and Bogum went on a trip to Jeju island. This trip took place (if my date sources are correct) around 3 weeks after their burn the stage fight. 2 weeks after Taejin made up. I know some people feel that these photos feel very 'colourful' and seem more than friendly, though as one anon pointed out, he loves going on trips with his friends and this seems no different than how he is with Wooga gang, the only difference being Bogum is one person while Wooga is a group. Also, Tae is a social butterfly and loves making friends. That said, I don't think there is anything remotely ‘suspicious’ about this trip.

Here comes the most debatable part of Taejin x Bogum, despite the fact that Bogum is not even in this selca and this is supposedly linked to Taejin's fight in burn the stage. This is here only because Tae tweeted this (again, if my sources are correct) 2-3 days after Tae got back from his trip.

Personally, there are a few things which stand out in this tweet: 1. The use of red hearts. 2. 5 of those red hearts. 3. The captions being 'thx'. 4. Jin's reply to this tweet. 5. Tae deleting his reply to Jin's reply.

The rest are just a whole web of speculations and assumptions.

If I recall correctly, Tae was the only one who used purple hearts before 2018? And he only used purple hearts when he posted about Jin. So this here, 5 red hearts on their selca after their fight and right before they wore matching brown hoodies sort of stands out. Not that it's wrong, but makes me wonder if something happened to trigger this caption. The captions, obviously- thanks for? An anon pointed out that they initially thought it's meant for Army, which maybe true, though due to the reasons listed above, I personally think it’s more than that. Another thinks it could be related to Bogum, reason being- "thanks for letting me go on a trip with my friend alone, you're the best boyfriend" - a tease to Jin. Who knows? 

Reminder that all these are wild speculations, nothing more. It could also be nothing related to Tae's trip with Bogum.

Jin replying 'let's break up' (to the anon who asked how do we know it's Jin, it's likely him, I don't see the other members interrupting their interactions especially since this is after they had a fight) I assume is due to the 'unflattering' expression that Tae chose to post.

So, despite the questionable captions, there is nothing concrete or substantial to show that this is indeed linked to Bogum or this is just Taejin being Taejin. Just a reminder- this is the final selca Tae posted of the both of them and we never had any more photos from him since, except for the heart shaped hand shadow photo in 2018. (Not counting videos of Jin that he posted, of course)

Bogum posted a selca of the both of them. Right now, Bogum has enlisted, I don't doubt that their friendship is ongoing and strong. Perhaps we'll see more selcas of them in the future.

Bogum came to LY concert in HK

He met them backstage, without telling Tae or any of them. And there's a Bangtan bomb of him meeting them after the concert:

He complimented Jin because he sang so well. I know there's a bunch of analysis videos on this depicting jealousy but I personally saw none, everyone was jolly and there was no awkwardness. I also feel that Jin and Bogum may be closer in real life, Jin being someone who keeps his friend network largely private, we'll never know and so can't verify unless he chooses to reveal them. I wonder if Bogum is one of the friends Tae requested a ‘Happy Birthday’ video from to compile to send to Jin. Considering how tight they are, Jin probably received one from him as well.

Finally, to answer the anon's question- no, I do not think there was any love triangle between the three of them. I do agree with that one anon who thinks Tae may have been star struck by Bogum back in 2015, who is an accomplished and well known actor. There could have been a little crush, who knows, nothing close to what he had for Jin, if I were to make a comparison, perhaps he sees Bogum similar to the way he sees J-Hope, full of trust and admiration and someone he feels comfortable being with and have deep conversations. Also, Jin and Bogum are most probably close friends as well.

Do you think a majority of tkk shippers are Taehyung biased? I am Jimin biased. I was within seconds of seeing him and hearing him sing for the first time (Dynamite iheartradio 2020). Prior to this an army friend of mine had told me he had a special soulmate bond with Taehyung and I remembered this. I was interested in seeing this soulmate bond, so of course I began looking up videos on youtube. My reccomendations starting showing Jikook shortly thereafter and I clicked out of curiosity. Immediately I could tell something was different with them and how close they were with each other (I even showed videos to my army friend like, "Look at this! Do you see this too?!"). Months later and here I am supporting their bond. I guess I have a hard time believing someone could call themselves Jungkook biased and be a tkker when his bond with Jimin is so obvious. Jungkook is always close to being my bias wrecker. Exploring his bond with Jimin has allowed me to really see what a beautiful person he is (each member is special to me and they are all have such beautiful souls!). I recently watched the Bangtan bomb with Park Bogum. A lot of shippers (on both sides) were trying to say how jealousJungkook was in it. Can the Jungkook is a jealous boyfriend narrative die in a fire already? I am a hardcore introvert and all I see is another fellow awkward introvert (and just Jungkook being Jungkook). Thanks for listening. :D

I think so? But I can't say for sure. But it's probably more than that. 

I do remember seeing videos analysing that bangtan bomb as well. And some people's imagination or lack of it is... something else. And as you say, there are videos made by jikookers and tkkrs, the conclusion of both is the same: Jungkook was jealous. And to be honest that's... stupid, the guy just wanted to keep eating whatever he was eating when he walked into that room.

And I kind of hate that narrative too. I don't think anyone would doubt that Jungkook has been jealous of something or someone, it's inevitable? I think. But then again, Jungkook is the man who says "what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine" The guy is confident in what's his. So maybe he doesn't get jealous.

But those videos... No. I've seen some videos titled "jeonlous something..." and at the end of the video I end up like O.o when did jungkook get jealous?

Taehyung slams his phone on the bar counter in frustration after hearing the same voicemail for what felt like the hundredth time. He turns it off before he has the urge to call again, then let’s his head sink into his hands with a groan.

“You alright, Tae?” Jeongguk asks as he slides into the seat next to him. His black t-shirt is slightly damp from all the dancing he was doing with Hoseok; sweat trickled down his temple when he saw Taehyung sitting alone at the bar. He signals for the bartender to get them two more bottles of soju, although Taehyung is not usually a big drinker, he has an empty bottle in front of him today.

Taehyung turns to look at Jeongguk, eyes narrowing and head tilting to the side questiongly. “Do you think I'm unattractive?”

Jeongguk, who’s taking a sip of his drink, practically chokes the moment he hears Tae's question. He assumes it's a joke because ‘Taehyung’ and ‘unattractive’ are two words that would never, ever, fit together. He lets out an airy laugh, waiting for the punchline to come in. Any second now. Unfortunately, Tae’s furrowed eyebrows show no signs of humor, his bottom lip lightly pushing out in a pout. A baby, Jeongguk things. A big cute baby. He registers the question before furiously shaking his head.

“Tae, what-”

Taehyung’s delicate hand flies up to cover Jeongguk’s mouth, quick to interrupt him. “Actually, don’t answer that. Don’t want to get my feelings hurt by one of my best friends tonight.”

He sulks in his seat with a sigh and to be honest, it’s truly not like Taehyung to be brooding at a club on a friday night. He’s usually laughing, dancing, looking pretty (not like he doesn't right now. He does! He always does) and messing around with Jimin. But instead he’s sitting here, rosy red lips that match his jacket out in a pout, checking his phone every three minutes or so. To say Jeongguk is concerned is a bit of an understatement.

“Here you go Mr. Jeon.”

Jeongguk nods at the bartender with a polite smile before opening Taehyung’s drink for him and nudging him slightly with his elbow.

“What's wrong hyung?”

Taehyung only responds by taking his drink from Jeongguk, and staring into it deep in thought, “A couple nights ago...” He starts, but soon realizes the problem sounds rather childish and he doesn’t want to bother Jeongguk, so he just dismissively waves it off with his hand and takes a sip of his drink.

Jeongguk furrows his eyebrows, “A couple nights ago… what??”

“I’m not telling you.”

“What, why?” He whines, dragging the last vowel.

“Because dignity, my dear gukkie. I would like to keep the little bit I have left.” A teasing smile appearing on the boy’s lips.

“Yah!” He shakes Tae’s arm stubbornly.They share everything with each other, and now he’s not going to tell him this one thing that’s bothering him? Nope Jeongguk doesn’t think so. He makes it his mission to help his best friend feel better… and also he’s curious, “Since when do we keep things from each other.”

Now it's Jeongguk's turn to pout, and Taehyung can’t help but smile. He isn’t wrong, Tae thinks, they do share everything with each other. After all, Jeongguk is Taehyung’s best friend (Jimin is his soulmate).

He’s silent for a couple seconds, just staring at Jeongguk’s (adorable) face of anticipation: his doe eyes are round and big in concern, yet they seem to sparkle, the younger one has always had shiny eyes, it’s something that captivated Taehyung from the moment he met him, and lips slightly parted with the bottom one pushed out.

He takes a deep breath.

“So you know how Bogum has been taking me out on dates, right” The words come out rushed, sounding more like a statement than a question.

“Uh, no-”

“Well we finally hooked up Tuesday-”

“You what!”

“But he left right after and won’t return any of my calls now.”

“Pause. Rewind-” If Jeongguk’s eyes were big before he can’t imagine how they must look like now. He stares at the other boy in shock and confusion because he did not, in fact, know anything about this information. Taehyung was going out with someone else? Taehyung HOOKED up with someone else? He chooses to ignore the light, very very light, barely even there, ache in his heart.

“It’s been three days, Jeonggukkie.”

“So what you’re saying is you got ghosted”

He winces at his poor choice of words, perhaps he could’ve phrased that better, not been so blunt. But also, what the fuck, because Taehyung has been going out with Park-fucking-Bogum for god knows how long and Jeongguk had no idea. This is betrayal. Or something like that.

“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to... um, i’m sure he probably didn’t…” He pushes his feelings to the side because this is not about you Jeongguk, he needs to be there for Tae.

“No no, you have a point.”

“I’m sorry, TeTe. He’s an idiot if he let go of a gem like you.” Jeongguk places a hand on Taehyung’s knee and gives a light squeeze of encouragement. He knows his comment was sappy and completely fuled by the alcohol he had consumed that night, but it doesn’t stop it from being true. However, the blame is completely placed on the bottle of soju.

“It’s not like i'm even hurt… well maybe a little… but all i want is just an explanation, you know?” Taehyung looks at his drink again, stare deep and cutting, as if it was going to reveal the answers to him, like a magic 8 ball. “What if I’m the issue?”

He says it so quietly that Jeongguk almost misses it, almost misses the way his voice quavers, even for a half a second. He snorts in response, “Yea, that’s definitely not it.”

“You don’t know that.” Taehyung is looking at him now, and Jeongguk can see the uncertainty in his eyes. Taehyung is confident and assertive, with a presence so strong that leaves you breathless. An aura so powerful he makes heads turn in his direction any time he walks into a room. To think that this motherfucker Bogum, who played him, is now making him question how overall amazing he is just makes Jeongguk’s blood boil. He promises himself to put that asshole in place the next time he sees him.

“But what I do know, is that that dude is a dick and you’re better off without him.”

“That’s not the point tho.” Taehyung mumbles into his drink.

“That is the point hyung. He led you on, you don’t deserve that.”

It’s quite clear that Taehyung is tipsy, Jeongguk doesn’t know how many drinks he had before he found him and Tae was never good at handling his alcohol. So he continues with his rant, disregarding everything Jeongguk is saying. “Maybe I’m bad in bed,”

This has the younger one laughing, not because he’s insensitive, but rather because he’s dreamt about Taehyung in bed multiple times and not once was it anything but mind blowing. That is in his dream of course, but he imagines the real Taehyung wouldn’t be any different.

“Maybe I’m not a good kisser.” Taehyung continues, his hands flying to lips to ghost his fingertips over them dramatically.

With those lips? Impossible. “Taehyungieee, stop you know that’s not true.” Jeongguk manages out in between giggles.

“Hmm it’s a possibility, you don’t know--”

Jeongguk stops listening to whatever Taehyung was about to say as his eyes quickly scan around the club, making sure everyone is in their own world before turning his attention back on Taehyung. His words are cut short because, in a matter of seconds, Jeongguk’s lips are on his. Tae’s body stiffens, too in shock to pull away or kiss him back. Right before he could react, maybe start to kiss Jeongguk back or tilt his head so their lips could fit together better, Jeongguk was already pulling away.

“Could be less tense, with a little practice you would be a total pro.” Jeongguk comments nonchalantly. Taehyung doesn’t miss how his tongue comes out to lick over his bottom lip, as if trying to taste the kiss all over again.

“Why… W-what did you just do that for??” Taehyung stammers, his wide eyes looking directly into Jeongguk, attempting to read him, his intentions. Jeongguk swallows the urge to kiss him again.

“You kept rambling on about how ‘bad’ you were, so I figured I should make my own conclusions,” He chuckles. “You were wrong by the way.”

Or: Taehyung is a hopeless romantic who falls too quickly. After being ghosted by some dick, part of him begins to wonder if maybe sucks at sex... His drunken self voices his thoughts to his best friend, until said best friend shuts him up with a kiss. Now Taehyung can't keep him his mind from going back to when the sweet boy's soft lips were on his. Wondering how many excuses he can come up with to kiss Jeongguk all over again.

Vacation - Park Bo Gum

(Admin: Babyboiii, I’m a big Bogum fan)

“How does it feel to finally have time off?” Bogum asks pulling you against his chest almost immediately after you throw yourself down onto the hotel room bed, you turn over in his arms to face him.

“It’s incredible, even better since I get to spend it with you,” you say with a soft laugh finding it hard to maintain eye contact with him, Bogum rests his hand on your cheek leaning forward to press a soft kiss against your lips.

“What should we do?” He asks stroking your cheek with the pad of his thumb, “I looked up restaurants nearby that we could go to later,” he suggests you hum nodding, “we definitely need to go to the beach while we’re here,” he mumbles looking upward seemingly searching his mind for more things to suggest to you.

“Let’s worry about that in the morning, it’s late, we just got here and I’m tired,” you say pushing your hand through his hair to get it away from his face smiling softly at him, he returns your smile humming, “thank you,” you say brightly.

“For what?” Bogum inquires leaning his cheek further against your hand closing his eyes.

“For planning this,” you say with a sigh, “I don’t know what I would have ended up doing if you didn’t decide to plan this trip,” you rush out, “I’d probably just spend my vacation days at home, sleeping,” you admit with a click of your tongue.

“We’ve never been on a trip together, that wasn’t for work,” Bogum says apologetically, “I felt bad about that,” Bogum admits pulling you closer to his chest resting his hand on the back of your head and the other on your shoulder, “let’s make the most of this trip,” Bogum near-whispers resting his chin on the top of your head.

i finished watching record of youth and honestly regrets because i wasted my long weekend watching this it was such a waste of time there was not enough park sodam imagine wasting your oscar winning lead actress like that !!! imagine making her character just a mere love interesst to park bogum !!! every side characters was annoying af esp the best friend’s mom his little sister that was one of the more interesting character got zero screen time and no closure to her story 

i feel like the writers dk what to do after the first few eps and kinda just wrote whatever their braincells could come up with which were the most boring storylines they could thought of i had to watch the entire show at 1.5x the speed cause i started the show and cant not finish it

also villainising the gay character, making him a predator that abuses his position to get what he wants then have him kill himself i just couldnt understand why he did that did he feel sorry?? guilty ?? enough to take his own life??? idk seems like lazy writing to me tbh 

anyways park sodam deserves a better outlet for her talent and watch run on instead for good lgbt rep

in record in youth park sodam meets park bogum, who is a model struggling to be an actor. secretly, she’s been his fan for many years and finds comfort in fangirling over him. lo and behold they become friends immediately after they speak and GRANTED that she’s very happy about meeting him... if it were me... and I met someone like shinwon... I would not be so calm. I’d literally evacuate my bowels upon seeing him first of all. If he talked to me I’d literally disappear into molecules like those marvel characters. there wouldn’t be a potential friendship between us because he’d call the cops on me immediately. I can’t imagine acting like a regular person if I were to see a celebrity that I went crazy for years and years like I would COMBUST if shinwon walked past me. I’d be grovelling. I wouldn’t just do his makeup for him all normal and then go home to reminisce about it later... security would have had to been called...

Y’all, i feel so bad for Tae, like i really do. Idk wat it is, but there’s something about him that attracts toxic ppl towards him and oh my god, it’s just crazy how fucked up this is for him and he really doesn’t deserve to be going through this.

The man has already fucked up a lot wen he was close with park bogum (he’s a cultist and believed that homosexuality should be corrected. In short, he’s homophobic). Like his beliefs and influences really got to Tae at one point and fucked up his mind, but thank god he realized how toxic he was and started distancing himself from that piece of shit.

And bighit had the audacity to bring park bogum to their persona fan meeting and recorded a bangtan bomb with him. God, it was so hard to fuckinf watch and the tkers are like “awe, jk is jeonlous of bogum bc they’re both really close. Such cuties uwu.” Nah bitch, it’s bc this peice of shit right here is a homophobic asshole, if i were him, I’d be uncomfortable around him as well.

And his fucking STANS!!!! majority of his stans are fucking toxic af and wat sucks is that there’s a lot and they’re LOUD. A lot of the toxicity in this fan base comes from them. God Tae, just, agh, idk wat to say or feel, i can’t even imagine wat tae is going through in his head rn, and god, he doesn’t deserve this.

I can’t say much on wat i know about all of this, but all i can ask for all of you is to please keep an eye out for Tae, like I’m really concerned for his mental well-being and even tho he’s getting help, I’m hoping this will help him heal mentally and learn to forgive and accept himself for who he is w/o the lingering influence of toxic ppl around him.

My year in dramaland pt. 2

Reply 1988: Yeah... so... Never watched it before till this year. My sister (I swear she does really get her way with me more than I thought) convinced me again. I knew the ending, of course. While it was being aired I kept up with the recaps and was rooting for Park Bogum, but I was sure he was not going to get the girl (which was the reason I did not watch Reply 1994) so you can imagine my surprise when he did. OMG, I was so happy but I just kinda forgot about the drama. My sister watched it shortly after and told me she loved it and I was like “K. Cool.” LMAO I guess it wasn’t time to watch it then.

Would I recommend it? I, honest to God, think I was the last person who hadn’t watch it, but if somehow there’s still someone who hasn’t, I apologize for the spoilers and I say yes, watch it: is sweet, heartwarming and nostalgic but beware, the episodes are awfully long. Still, I binged it fast, and for a little while, I almost got second male lead syndrome. But then he made something stupid (and by that I mean he did nothing) and I got so angry... Then it was Taek’s time to shine and I forgot everything else.

Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung: Not a fan of saeguks, but I can’t resist Cha Eun Woo’s handsome looks. Yeah. That was my reason to watch. That and, again, my sister started it before I did, so I unintentionally watched some bits here and there that made me curious. It felt like a drama that was meant for the modern age but set in Joseon era. And it worked, it was a really good story. I liked the heroine a lot, she was practical, smart, independent and did not take no for an answer and she had the guts to even stand up to the King. What a girl. No wonder our leading (yet sweet, romantic, emotional and unaware) leading man fell for her. They had reversed roles from the typical ones that you normally see assigned for men and women, and it was delightful.

Would I recommend it? You might have picked up on this, but this year I did not force myself to watch any drama that did not make me happy. If I do it as a hobby to make me joyful, what would I waste my time on making myself miserable? So, yet again, my answer is yes. Plain and simple.

*Note: I know there are many not so favorable opinions on Cha Eunwoo’s acting, but I think his problem is that he takes a long while to get to know his character and really get under his skin. Ideally, this is allowed to happen in the firsts episodes, but not past 4 or 5 and yet it does happen to him. However, in the second half of the drama there were scenes in which he surprised me with his emotions and acting on point. I believe he can improve.

Extraordinary You: If you have seen my previous posts (and if you haven’t, please feel free to pay a visit, I TALKED extensively about this drama) you know how much I loved it.  I’ll tell you this: episodes 1-8 have to be the most perfect first half of any drama I’ve ever watched, seriously (the setting of the characters, the pace of the story, the attraction and blooming romance wow!); episodes 9-12 did amazing with developing and deepening the romance (so much love and swoon and heartbreak); episode 13 is the one where things got out of control, but episode 14 got back on track with a bang! while episodes 15-16 make a good job in closing the story (with the material that was given) while also making you the saddest you’ve ever been. LOL The drama had a bittersweet yet perfect ending.

Oh, and that thing I mentioned about not wanting to watch dark dramas for the rest of the year? Yeah, I did not fulfilled it. Granted, EY was not promoted as a melo (so I was deceived into watching it), but it wasn’t much of a romcom either LOL. It was a fantasy and a romance drama about a world that was terrifying. And it excelled at it.

Would I recommend it? A big YES. What the hell are you waiting for if you haven’t seen it?  I fell in love with the characters (and cast), fell in love with the romance, the story and the OTP became my favorite in all of the kdramas I’ve watched. It was my favorite drama this year. (And I think a lot of people’s, too). I promise you the hurt is worth it.

*NOTE: Wasn’t a fan of Rowoon before (I had seen him in Where the stars land, but he was a bit annoying as the guy that was in love with the female lead) and I wasn’t sure on how he would handle the emotional scenes, but man, do I love to be proven wrong. He delivered beautifully and I’m here to say to you that all the hype and popularity he is receiving is well deserved. Now I’m a fan of him and his group. Stan SF9!

The tale of Nokdu: Did a whole and somewhat detailed post about it here. What else can I say? Well, I loved Nokdu a lot. He is the definition of a true hero of the story without being full of himself. You just can’t help but fall for him and wish for his happiness. Also, it takes time to warm up to the heroine but you end up loving her because she is most definitely not your typical female lead. She has a big appetite for revenge and I loved that about her for some weird reason.

Would I recommend it?  Of course, but only if you like saeguks (or don’t mind them too much) and are okay with the switch of genre because it starts romcom but then gets very saeguk, a bit melo, bloody and becomes a big plotting royal mess. Still, it maintains the romance aspect, and the journey of the OTP is worth watching.
