{made with the Ancestors and Great Spirits of the African Diaspora in mind, here's what I associate with each day of the week and the children of the diaspora born therein:
Monday's child is fair of face
Tuesday's child is full of grace
Wednesday's child is full of woe
Thursday's child has far to go
Friday's child is loving and giving
Saturday's child works hard for a living
And the child born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, good and gay.
Monday: masters of finding new roads and moving forwards, tearing down blockages, trailblazers and warriors. Artists of all kinds, writers, poets, singers.
Tuesday: embodiment of thunderstorms, winds, omens, they're powerful conjurers with hot hands, always busy, always moving. Often times scholars, historians.
Wednesday: defenders, protectors, of humanity and nature as a whole. Warrior spirits at their core, but also great diviners and mediums.
Thursday: eloquent muses of the arts of love and war alike, great beauties who lead armies with equal charm and force. Sweetening, love and luck workings come easy to them.
Friday: personification of abundance and status. A commanding presence. Building legacy, great manifestors and conjurers, specially for work and finances.
Saturday: guardians of waters and the beyond. Community leaders, gifted healers, divine messengers. Carrying all the wisdom of the Elders and Ancestors.
Sunday: priests and priestesses that defy status quo, very old Ancestors coming back to reshape and rebirth reality. They will enter your life and purge every aspect of it.}

monday's child legacy challenge
judging by the influx of addams on the gallery lately, by now i'm sure ~everyone~ has seen the new WEDNESDAY series.. i loved seeing all the creations, be it households, builds or cc - but what i was inspired to do was create my first game challenge; it's not particularly inspiring and i'm unsure if it's doable at all, i suspect i'm mostly putting it on proverbial paper to direct this nursery rhyme somewhere concrete, since it insists on lingering in my mind
i know in the ocean of challenges there is a days-of-the-week challenge already but i don't think their similiar, feel free to check for yourself
i considered making GEN 1:MONDAY > GEN2:MONDAY'S-CHILD/TUESDAY and so on, to extend it to one more generation, but prefered to keep it faithful to it's origins instead
s o w i t h o u t f u r t h e r a d o....
⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️
RULES
standart legacy rules apply; play in extreme if you'd like
succession laws: gender - strict equality
preferences and trait discovery: spin wheel for yes or no
NOTES
this hasn't been play tested - yet ; so for now I sugest playing at the normal or long time span - change it with mccc if you'd like, the goal is to have fun, even tho it's a challenge i really have no concept of how doable it was designed to be since i usually drag out my sims lifes for pretty long

more traits in cas
chingyu traits {100-traits, seasons-traits}

I also love love love lumpinou's relationship and pregnancy overhaul, check it out !!

Concept design of the saints of seven luminaries — sun, moon, fire, water, wood, gold, and earth. Do you know that the seven days of the week were named after these planetary elements?
‘Monday’s Child (moon) is fair of face.
Tuesday’s Child (fire) is full of grace.
Wednesday’s (water) Child is full of woe,
Thursday’s (wood) Child has far to go.
Friday’s (gold) Child is loving and giving,
Saturday (earth) Child works hard for a living.
And the child born on the Sabbath day (sun) is bonny and blithe and good and gay’
Which day of the week were you born on?

Hey, y’all, it’s Weird Wednesday! Where on some Wednesdays, I blog about weird stuff and give writing prompts.
Today: Monday’s Child is Fair of Face: Divination Rhymes
Happy Weird Wednesday! A common divination rhyme says if you’re born on a Wednesday, you’ll be “full of woe.”
Maybe not the best news. Anyhow, today we’re going to look at some rhymes that purport to tell the future, starting with:
Days of the Week
Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace.
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursday’s child has far to go.
Friday’s child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for a living.
And the child born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, good and gay.
(Curious about your day of birth? Plug your date into this calculator.)
I was born on a Thursday myself, which is not much better than Wednesday. But there are many other version of this rhyme (though we Thursday folks still don’t tend to do well).
Born of a Monday, fair in face
Born of a Tuesday, full of God’s grace
Born of a Wednesday, merry and glad
Born of a Thursday, sour and sad
Born of a Friday, Godly given
Born of a Saturday, work for your living
Born of a Sunday, never shall we want
So there ends the week, and there’s an end on’t.
Other (occasionally rude) differences include:
Monday: full in the face
Tuesday: solemn and sad
Wednesday: merry and glad and born to power
Thursday: inclined to thieving (ouch), many losses to endure, and finally, welcome home. (Aw, thanks.)
Friday: free in giving and loving and kind
Saturday: lags far behind
Sunday: a gentleman and of a contented mind
Check out the blog post for the whole story and some fair writing prompts, such as:
What if it’s true? You could create a fantasy world where day of birth really does determine one’s fate. You could choose from any of the examples above or make up your own. What if day of birth determined length of life, number of children, or spiritual gifts? It could also easily be used for discrimination, with rules about who is allowed to marry or be in power/do certain jobs. Would parents try to induce labor on auspicious days?

The Netflix show Wednesday has a theme from an old nursery rhyme / poem called Monday's Child where it gives a reason for each child of a particular day of the week. In 1999 David Bowie released an album called Hours and the main single off of the album was a song called Thursday's Child. And yes, the song is inspired by the same poem that Wednesday's name was (according to the Netflix show) was inspired from.
Monday’s child is fair of face,
Tuesday’s child is full of grace,
Wednesday’s child is full of woe,
Thursdays child has far to go,
Fridays child is loving and giving,
Saturday’s child works hard for his living,
And the child that is born on the Sabbath day Is bonny and blithe, and good and gay

Their designs are based on the poem, as well as the deities they are named after.
For anyone who's curious, they are:
Monday- the moon
Tuesday- Tyr

I don’t know if this has been said yet.
The poem Wednesday gets her name from, Monday’s child, has a line:
And the child born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe, good and gay.
Bonny: attractive , beautiful
Blithe: having a cheerful indifference
Gay
In conclusion Enid was born on a Sunday
