Unpopular opinion: 🗣KARMA ISNT REAL🗣.

Karma is the tool of the pacifists and pushovers.

Karma implies there's some universal concept of fairness, and universal morality. These things do not exist. The cosmos has no requirement to be fair. A planet full of the most benevolent and moral beings could be destroyed by any number of astronomical events just as easily as a planet of the most evil beings, and the likelihood is only determined by the position of that planet in space, not based on the actions of any of the population.

Who arbitrates it? Who decides that, because you were a dick to that guy on the subway you now have to stub your toe? Who decides what child is starved? What woman is raped? What black man is shot by an officer? It sounds like a bureaucratic nightmare and antithetical to the parsimony we usually see in natural processes.

Karma is a coping mechanism of delayed gratification - like heaven and hell- because there are laws against revenge and retaliation. It’s a concept riddled in fear.

We are told Karma will even things out. But it doesn’t. I have seen too many decent people taken advantage of and even tortured while predator people do just fine and keep getting better at the expense of their victims. But people will hang onto the concept of karma- because it’s all they have and can’t deal with the idea that the one that has so wronged them will never suffer any consequences and have no means for compensation unless they deal it themselves.

To believe in Karma is to believe Breyonna Taylor doesn’t deserve justice...George Floyd didn’t deserve to breathe...Our ancestors deserved bondage

this was in 2016, when CMPD murdered Keith Lamont Scott and Justin Carr. I protested for MONTHS, slept on the headquarters of our police departments HQ & didn’t know the baby I’m holding was in my belly the whole time. Her name is Justice. I don’t know if the museum is still going to travel thru the US like it’d planned but this was one of the most peaceful points in my life. Somehow the chaos and war was settling.

I only got to protest once this year and don’t have any photos, I didn’t care about them but in 2016 I ended up in so many.

Quarantine Dreams

Hello friends.  As we start the fall, let’s take a look back at some of the revelations made over the summer.  First off, after watching the NBA last night, the analysts on TNT gave their opinions over the facts surrounding the Breyonna Taylor case.  The overall conclusion seemed to be that we needed to take a look at the “No Knock Warrant”.  After hearing all of the facts myself, I came to the conclusion that justice WAS served by the 12 million dollar lawsuit that was won by the family.  However, in light of the details of the case, I believe the “No Knock Warrant”, and other such pernicious legalities which are most likely the result of the Patriot Act, should be gotten rid of.

Another revelation that came to me was that we don’t actually have a capitalist or fascist economic system, rather it is more of a “Neo Mercantilist” one; a term I’ve coined.  Prison slavery still exists; a “improved” version of colonial slavery that now includes whites and blacks; ‘though I am not taking sides in the upcoming presidential election due to issues of conscience, Mr. West is, as I understand, against this institution.

Also, after reflecting on some issues of the past season, I remembered something a former churchgoer of mine said when I used to attend some of their weekly meetings: “I think temptation should be against the law”; it made me laugh when I shared this with a friend but the wit and echoes of cynicism in it hinted on a lot of what we are experiencing now.
