I had a big need for a fandom butterfly/moth display. Updated with an ID: Art drawn to look like a Fictional Moth/Butterfly display case based on 4 characters from The Magnus Archives on a 8.5x11" print. Big bug center top is labeled as "J. Sims": big green Luna Moth with multiple prominent eyes a bit like an Emperor Moth's markings, and holes in the wings that mimic the holes in a cassette tape. There's an eye on the mid of its body. The markings are more fantastical than the other bugs.

Labeled "M. Blackwood": Silver Clouded moth, smaller, to the right of J. Sims, with a cloudy looking pattern in greys on the wings, and two small dots.

Labeled "N. Sasha": Center-left. A blue butterfly but with markings that look like eyes and possibly claws extending across the top pair of wings. The wings are lined with black and white markings that resemble piano-keys. The lower pair of wings have golden markings that is supposed to resemble calliope pipes.

Labeled "Tim": Takes up the lower right side. A Mourning Cloak butterfly but with orange markings inside the wings that resemble flames. Mainly red wings lined with black then yellow edges, with blue spots across the black.

They are on a board with a spider web stretched across underneath them. The black tape of a cassette tape ribbons around the board in loose loops.

swatch cutting the brand name from spamton's brand of bow ties and reselling them has got to be one my my favorite Hater Moments of theirs. like i'm just picturing them in a fancy robe with a glass of wine (battery acid?) sitting there after spamton gets evicted dramatically and coldly cutting off the tags one by one, all "good riddance" about it. i like to think hate drove their obsession since the very start, even as they were a shoulder for spamton to cry on (and especially as spamton was spending time in the basement pre-eviction; judging by how it's noted that he prayed there often rather than staying in his room). and so it all culminates in the both of them just being wildly dramatic about one another. it's really good divorce.

Talking with Hal Kanter, the writer/director of Loving You, from Alanna Nash's Baby Let's Play House.

Elvis had a question for him. Was his character, Deke Rivers, required to smile much in the movie?

“What do you mean, do you have to smile?”

“Well, I’ve been watching a lot of movies. People like Jimmy Dean and Humphrey Bogart and Marlon Brando. Good actors. They hardly ever smile. And the women love ’em, because they don’t smile.”

Elvis brought the director up short. That had never occurred to him, but Elvis was right.

“He said, ‘When I smile, I want it to be an event.’ And I said, ‘Very well put.’ ”

I don't know, I mean, I kind of get it. Smiling is for losers, looking angry and pensive is hot.

what is your favourite clois scene?

I honestly love all their interactions so much that I couldn't even decide on my top five, so I'll just talk about their opening scene in booster because I keep thinking about it and it really captures one of the main reasons I love them so much.

So they're both in transitional periods of their lives, with Clark trying to create a new persona for himself and Lois working towards a promotion, and they're just so... invested and supportive about it?? Lois is helping Clark with his body language and reassures him because he's feeling insecure but then he's like "forget about ME Lois you're up for that promotion!!!" and you can see on his face how proud and excited about it he is like, he's really her biggest cheerleader and I'm😭😭😭

They're best friends and they're in love and above all else they just genuinely want to see each other thrive and be happy and grow into the best versions of themselves and it makes me want to collapse on the floor in tears.
