I saw one of those Mbti templates and ... Yep. Filled it in with Rachel. Kinda shows her hidden traits.
"doesn't enjoy chaos" 😂 probably isn't all that wrong, her life just happens to be involved in a lot of them
"responsible desires" 😭 if only ...

BTS Suga Birth Chart Analysis
Based on my opinion and observations. Not an expert. May change later
March 9th, 1993
Daegu, South Korea
Unknown time
☀️♓️🌙♍️
Pisces sun is artsy, creative, sensitive, and empathetic. It should positively aspect his Pisces mercury. He genuinely seems like an emotionally intelligent person (esp with his interest in pyschology) as he's very patient and understanding. He's never raised his voice at the members or get very angry in general (except ofc for the few times he did fight with RM...I still wonder how Joon was able to get Yoongi so mad to the point of throwing things at him lol. But they were both very young and both have Cancer mars, an emotionally charged mars sign).
Virgo moon is reserved, prefer to detach and analyze their feelings and thoughts. This could be why he may seem "cold" to people. He's not, he's just calm and more controlled about his emotional expression like a majority of Virgo moons.
Having a Pisces sun and mercury though, he is able to comfortably express his deeper emotions through a creative outlet: his rap and lyrics writing skills. Music has always been his comfort and love. His song "First Love" is the best example for this.
Aries venus is in detriment. Being a Pisces sun, Suga is sweet and even a little idealistic at times, but Aries venus can make it awkward to express that. It's either he doesn't know how to initiate affection (e.g wanting to hold hands with the members but not knowing how to ask) or can be quite bold (e.g wanting a red string tattoo with the members. Could also be linked to his Pisces' romanticism lol)
Seems like a grand square is in his chart, which indicates many struggles and hardships. He's been very open about all the harsh things he's endured, so seeing this isn't surprising. Having to survive on small amount of money and working other jobs to support his career that was at high risk of failing, having unsupportive parents, shoulder and ear injury, mental illnesses, etc...
Possible rising: Aries. I have seen this to be his rumoured rising and I agree tbh. I'm not too sure about Venus in 1st considering how reserved he is (could be in his 12th). Mars could be in either 3rd or 4th. I am leaning towards 4th bc I know his parents weren't the most supportive of his career and he has made some implications that his parents were just a bit strict in general.
Sun and Mercury would be in 12th. Sun in 12th is perceptive and internal, preferring to observe from afar. A sense of detachment. Mercury in 12th keeps thoughts and feelings to self, so essentially a quiet and private person, which he is. Both are quite intuitive placements.
He has the passion and determined nature of an Aries. Capricorn MC also helps with the good self discipline and hardworking ethic that Yoongi has. Capricorn MC can also make one look serious and private, maybe a bit cold and workaholic, which a lot of people tend to say about him. Both signs share the ambitious and success seeking trait, which is very Yoongi.

would you ever share that natal chart analysis of jeno 🥺🥹🙏 also i get u sooo much with the mbti vs astrology among idols like ive been waiting for content on the latter but idk i guess 16 personalities rly has its grip like that 😵💫💀🙄
this is the tiktok
I’m not going to share what oomf said about his chart, but she mostly agreed with this video!(the cc talks a lot, like my advice if she ever sees this: learn to summarize💀)
also, I know a longgggg while ago this was discussed but the videos have since been deleted, and I saw it circulating again when L*cas scandal gate erupted but I wish I could see the entire palm reading a psychic did for Jeno becauseeeeee from what I saw he said there would be some problematic scandals in his future…and he needs to be careful. It was deleted before I ever saw it bc ofc! as usual! fans are extremely sensitive and dont want to hear anything that could be negative abt their favs! cant comprehend that(the man who did it was also very old/not a kpop stan/did many celeb palm readings, I’m sure he removed the nct videos bc normal people arent interested in arguing with kpop stans.)
like ok I’m not super into the zodiac chart things aside from my own, especially after that one Lemonade stand video when Johnny told Jungwoo(pisces) that he’s an Aquarius like him/Jaehyun and Jungwoo was all “yeah, sure! I’m an Aquarius!”
I was like yeahhhhh the zodiac shit is very western to kpop idols. ask them what their sign is and they’ll be like “???”. pretty sure there is a clip of Jeno not able to remember that he’s a Taurus actually… MBTI has them in a damn chokehold istg💀 the way trends run that country…
BUT OK, my friends linked me this youtube psychics video about BTS one time(and you know how dangerous it is to speak on them negatively), it was actually insane bc everything he said basically happened and came to be….it was about how they’d handle their solo careers and I watched this about halfway into their solo era and most of it happened/the rest unfolded over time. like damn…..if only kpop stans weren’t such fucking losers we’d have more silly content like this to enjoy but alas.
I find it interesting when they really do fit their signs though, probably the most we’ll be able to know about their *real* personalities that we can connect to what they do share with us as fans.

SF9 Chani MBTI Analysis
- INTJ -
An in-depth analysis of an idol's MBTI type. Based on my opinion and observations, may change later. Not an expert.
MBTI: INTJ (Ni - Te - Fi - Se)
Dom: Ni - Introverted Intuition
A percieving function that uses one's personal insights and ideas.
Chani has admitted that celebrity life is not for him and the main reason he joined entertainment was to support his family. His end goal is to ensure his family with financial security. He's not really ambitious and doesn't seem to have any other plans besides helping his family. He also does take his time to plan out things and decide how he's going to get there. Ni often prefers to plan before taking action to make sure it's perfect and attainable.
Aux: Te - Extroverted Thinking
A judging function that relies on established facts and data to create a working environment.
Chani is realistic and honest. In the MBTI interview with Hwiyoung, Hwi says Chani is the type to provide solutions rather than comfort, which is very Te. Te doms/aux would rather get to the problem and solve it instead of just complaining about it.
If he were an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si), he would likely resort to Fi to comfort rather than go straight to problem solving. He would also partake in Hwi's flights of fantasy rather than say they're silly (Hwi = INFP. Fi - Ne - Si - Te. Ne from both xNFPs would come together to brainstorm. But Chani doesn't do that with Hwi).
"He's clear on what he wants to do as an artist, the type of image he wants, and his goals as well, so you can see him grow towards that goal." - Rowoon from 2019 Ranking Box interview.
Tert: Fi - Introverted Feeling
A judging function that uses one's personal values and beliefs to compare and make choices.
Chani seems to have a bit of trouble with self expression. It may be awkward for him and so he chooses not to be very expressive. However, he's still very soft and mellow, especially when he talks about his love and care towards his group. He may not show a lot of emotion towards many things, but when it comes to the things he cares about (e.g SF9), you can really see his mood light up. Fi will open up more if it's about their personal passions.
Inf: Se - Extroverted Sensing
A perceiving function that uses our 5 senses to process the external world.
Having inferior Se, it is likely the reason why Chani can be incredibly slow moving. Se is focused on the physical world and movement. However, Chani moves very slow...talks slow as well.
"However, in everyday life, it's a miracle to see Chani moving around." - Hwiyoung in their Cosmopolitan Korea 2019 interview
___
Why he's not an ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si):
I very highly doubt Chani is an ENFP...if he were, he would have to be in an Ne - Te loop or something. However I just do not see any high Ne usage in Chani in general though. Compared to actual Ne dom Inseong and Ne aux Hwiyoung, Chani is much more of an Ni user.
He's also very relatable to me as an INTJ too...And I highly doubt I am an ENFP so lmao.
Actual ENFPs: BTS V, TWICE Sana, P1Harmony Intak
If he is not an INTJ though, ISTP would be my second guess. However I don't see much Ti-Fe usage in him.

Jungkook as an ISTP x Cognitive Functions
So, as BTS released MBTI test results with Festa 2017, I was going to go back on all of my analyses and re-think everything in order to make my impressions fit with what I was seeing. But then I realized they ranked the accuracy of their results, and that delighted me. Because oftentimes, the MBTI is taken in Korea in high school as a career aptitude test, which means the accuracy of the results is questionable. And, sometimes it is just really hard to get an accurate result taking MBTI tests, even if you try to answer the questions truthfully. Which is where cognitive functions come in (and, of course, exploring other type descriptions as well).
A lot of people who like MBTI don't know about cognitive functions, but they are basically what determines one's MBTI type. Here's a link to a good article about cognitive functions, which I will be using as a source for this post.
I'm a bit of a cognitive function rookie myself, so if I get something wrong please feel free to correct me. This series of posts will be based on cognitive functions. I might do some later posts just relating to their actual type descriptions. :)
I'm going to go with what most of the members said about their types; particularly, I think J-hope, Jin, and V seemed to feel that their types were quite accurate. Jimin seemed mostly satisfied, but I still think there is the possibility he is something else (but will comment later). HOWEVER, Rap Monster, Suga, and Jungkook's types need some more fleshing out. CLEARLY. And although Rap Monster gave his type 4 stars, that one 5th crying star was too much for my heart...I still think he's INFJ. So without further ado, let's talk about why Jungkook is not an INFP.
As an INFP, Jungkook's dominant function would be Fi. In a dominant position, Fi exhibits itself as a moral compass. An Fi user is highly preoccupied with how an action fits into their moral code, and will make decisions based on where that action finds itself in their sense of morality. My INFP brother has very strong feelings about his morals and judges everything by those morals. They don't have to match the system around him, but are instead his own unique set of ideals that influence all of his decisions. A caveat: Fi users usually know very well how they feel about something and are comfortable with theirs and others feelings.
His auxiliary function would be Ne. Ne is focused on the possibilities of a concept. Ne users will entertain all of the manifestations of an idea, no matter how crazy.
His tertiary function would be Si. Si is a nostalgic function. Si in the tertiary position is concerned with matching previous facts and experiences with current ones and making connections between those experiences. It manifests as nostalgia as well sometimes, or a longing for the past.
His weakest, inferior function, would be Te. Te is an executive, logical function. In its inferior position, Te manifests when the user is stressed out. And a stressed out, inferior Te looks like someone on a power trip. Lol, just kidding, but the frustrated Te user comes across as someone who cannot set in motion the plans they have, and feels inferior because of this. They fear others perceiving them as inferior, incompetent, or immature, and will lash out with "bossiness" and sensitivity to criticism of their decisions and executive abilities. *This is one reason why Rap Monster /could/ be an INFP, because he sometimes has these types of reactions to the other members when under pressure.
However, I don't believe Jungkook is INFP. My reasoning goes as such: we do not see Jungkook vocalizing his use of an internal, emotional, moral compass as an evaluation of his decisions. While he is often seen observing, his observations are made towards the physical that he is interacting with; he is intrigued by how things work. We don't see Jungkook getting nostalgic, either. Whether it is because he's so young, or because of his personality, he isn't often seen reflecting back on his earlier days like, say, Yoongi. Instead, Jungkook lives in the moment, a typical trait of SPs.
Finally, I refer to the "Hamburger Incident" and "Birthday Surprise" videos. Under both situations, Jungkook does not become aggressive. Instead, it feels more like taking pot-shots at a puppy...which is exactly what it is, based on his inferior function as an ISTP. He insists he brought hamburgers, he insists he didn't get the dance moves wrong, and then he retreats because he isn't able to insist on his point in the waves of his highly emotional response (which he is unable to control).
As an ISTP, Jungkook's dominant funnction would be Ti. In a dominant position, Ti presents itself as a fact-gathering, highly introverted function. Ti users can appear quiet and shy, and when presented with a new situation will sometimes hang back to take in all of the information they can about the situation before making an analysis of what they wish to do next. They are preoccupied with determining how all logical systems work and love to point out any inconsistencies in those systems. We can see Jungkook using his Ti in his cool, almost nonchalant reaction to most things occurring around him. He quietly takes in information and enjoys spotting the inconsistencies in others stories. He is assured of his assumptions regarding the world around him and this contributes to his "I got this" attitude in most situations which he can, or has already analyzed. Ti users tend to be independent thinkers who prefer making their own observations before determining whether or not something is as others say it is.
Auxiliary Se: Se is a physical function. Se in the auxiliary position is fascinated with the physical world and wishes to experience many enjoyable feelings, sensations, and emotions. They are preoccupied with the current moment and wish to live out as many exciting, exhilarating moments as possible. We can see this in Jungkook's affection for roller coasters, the banana boat ride, the paraglider, and just about anything that gets his adrenaline running. He is most at home in the moment. His introversion still rules, however; he cannot match up to Jimin's extroverted prowess on stage, despite his smooth dance moves in practice videos. His image leans toward the quiet, sexy one instead of the spotlight stealing heartbreaker. And he's comfortable with that.
As an ISTP, Jungkook's tertiary function would be Ni. Ni in the third position comes across as a kind of passion for perfectionism, which Jungkook shows us constantly. He is the golden maknae- he can do everything, and he prides himself in that. When his abilities are questioned, such as in the video where he is surprised for his birthday, he just works even harder, believing that there must be something wrong in his approach which can be improved upon. This is the essence of tertiary Ni. In fact, I think his second and third functions were easiest to pinpoint in this analysis. Lastly, an ISTP's inferior function is Fe. I'm going to quote the post above as I think they just nailed the inferior Fe description so well for this one: "As an inferior function, Fe originally manifests as the user being reluctant to dabble with or express emotional concerns, as the user cannot logically make sense of many of his or her own emotions and therefore doesn’t feel confident in moderating them. As Fe matures, its user will feel increasingly comfortable making and keeping emotional commitments to others, as they grow more confident in what is expected of them. The inferior-Fe monologue (prior to maturation): “Feelings make me freeze with anxiety because I don’t know how to moderate them. I am terrified of accidentally offending someone.” "
And this is Jungkook's feelings in a nutshell. His birthday surprise video sums it up well; although he is delighted to be surprised by the other members and staff, he is somewhat offended that his emotions were so easily toyed with. He doesn't enjoy showing emotional sides of himself, as he himself doesn't understand those emotions. He is also terrified of offending others as can be seen during the "Hamburger Incident". He becomes paralyzed by the fact that he might have unknowingly hurt or offended someone, all while being hurt and offended himself and perhaps not even realizing it. Others might assume that an ISTP is made of steel based on their cool, risk-taking, highly independent, sometimes impulsive personalities. But they are not. In more developed positions, Fe is the loving, people-pleasing, puppy-dog warmth of Jimin and J-hope. Those with inferior Fe can exhibit that too. But at Jungkook's age, they are usually terrified of showing that side of themselves, as they don't understand it. Though affectionate, Jungkook can come across as a bit cool and reserved to anyone other than his closest friends, which arguably are some of the other members of BTS. His moments of emotional breakdown are a result of either feeling comfortable showing those emotions in front of others, or being assaulted with a sudden onslaught of disapproval and criticism, which literally hits him in the feels. An Fi user, like an INFP, would be 1. more comfortable with this emotional response (instead of describing it as "annoying" as Jungkook did) and 2. would react rigidly to others criticism, perhaps even lashing out or becoming cynical. Jungkook simply collapses, and that's why I think he's an ISTP. A huge thanks to Heidi Priebe for her amazing article on cognitive functions, which introduced me to this lovely mess which is typing.

BTS’ confirmed MBTI and how it shows in them. pt2
Or how it’s inaccurate.
This one is accurate! :D
BTS confirmed their MBTI during BTS Festa in 2017. This likely being from the Myers Briggs test, it could be accurate or completely inaccurate.
RM - INFP (✔️)
Jin - INTP (!this post!)
Suga - INFP
J-Hope - ESFJ
Jimin - ENFJ
V - ENFP
Jungkook - INFP
I’ll be examining this by analyzing the cognitive functions.
Long post warning.
Jin - INTP
-Introversion, Intuition, thinking, perceiving
-This result shocked a lot of fans, including me. Until I looked into it, at least.
-I was almost certain Jin was an ExTP. Now I agree with the INTP result. (If anything else, there is a chance he could actually be an ISFJ.)
-Many view him as an extrovert because of his energetic and lively behaviors he expresses when on camera.
-But here’s the deal: not all introverts are mute shy robots with no energy or social skills. Honestly, about 95% of introverts do not fit that stereotype.
-Introversion and extroversion is based off of where they get there energy from! Introverts get their energy from time alone, and that energy gets drained more quickly when they socialize. That’s why they don’t go out and do as many things as an extrovert does. With extroverts, it’s vice versa.
-An example: I know two INTPs, both whom I am very very close to.
-One of them is an introverted introvert. She is quiet and reserved when around groups of people. But I strong part of that is the fact she has p bad social anxiety. When(or if) you manage to get to know her, she is super goofy, funny, and expressive. She actually acts similar to Jin, but has a slightly different sense of humor.
-The other INTP is an extroverted introvert. She is introverted, but when she is around people she’s talkative, expressive, funny(istg all INTPs are hilarious), and not hard to get to know.
-I’m an INFP yet I actually sometimes act like an ENTP when socializing. Its only the people I’m very close to that get to see my Fi.
-So what does that mean? Everything depends on the specific person!!!
-Everybody is different in there own unique way. Not everyone is exactly like the stereotype. Not every INTP is just like the next. Everyone’s personality is slightly different!
-That being said, I do think Seokjin is an introvert, but the way he expresses himself to others can appear very extroverted. Introverts can be confident, loud, and funny too, believe it or not!
-So now we have the I vs E thing settled, I’m going to look into the INTP cognitive functions. I would highly recommend googling cognitive functions if you don’t already know about them. It’s super important when it comes to MBTI.
-INTP’s functions are Ti-dom, Ne-aux, Si-tert, and Fe-inf.
-Another thing that made people skeptic Jin is an INTP is the fact that Fe isn’t very dominant in that type. His personality does give off strong Fe vibes and behaviors, but here is why I still think he is an INTP...
-It is possible for an INTP’s Fe to develop. Sure, it’s said that using your type’s inferior function can be mentally unhealthy, but thats only if you use it more than any other function. You can develop you inferior function, as long as the others are developed too and you STILL aren’t using it much more than the others.
-His dominant trait is Ti, introverted thinking. Because he expresses himself so lively and uses mostly his extroverted functions in camera, it was a bit difficult for me to figure out where I could see his Ti.
-the other functions serve the Ti, so I looked at them to help me see his Ti. Even when his Ne and Fe are very noticeable, I see his straightforward, somewhat factual way of speaking. Ti-doms also theorize but always come to a logical conclusion/observation with thoughts, and I can see this with they way he tells stories or jokes, or just overall when he expresses thought. They value accuracy and truth.
-Ti tend to love learning and researching. I don’t know how much Jin does this, but I can’t see into his personal life so we may never know.
-his auxiliary function is Ne, extroverted intuition. I feel like people were skeptic about him being Ne-aux due to the stereotype that they are super imaginative people, constantly expressing crazy and unrealistic dreams and ideas. Sometimes Ne’s are that way, but it often depends on what their dominant introverted function is. Ne “serves” Jin’s Ti, and his Ti is his main/most dominant function so you have to remember that.
-I feel Ne can be where he gets his energetic personality from. He may not be as energetic at home as he is on camera, and his Ti is going to be less apparent on camera. Instead, the Ne will jump out, and with Jin, his developed Fe too.
-Ne’s are known for making awful yet hilarious puns, and we all know Kim Seokjin is the king of puns and stupid jokes!
-I feel that because his Fe is developed, his Ne is a bit watered down. Either way, the Ne-aux in INTP specifically are much less “jump at your face crazy imaginative” or whatever the heck-
-His tertiary function is Si, introverted sensing, but I’m gonna completely skip over that because I don’t think many idols use their tert function outwardly on camera anyway. The tertiary is a “relief” function, so I don’t think Jin’s Si is gonna be seen by us very often.
-Now onto his inferior function: Fe, extroverted feeling.
-As I’ve said, it seems his Fe-inf is developed a good bit, so it shows in him more often than it would in the stereotypical INTP.
-It is known that Fe values interpersonal harmony. They are very selfless and will care for others over their selves. I’m not saying Jin does this 100% since it’s his inferior function, but he often knows how to interact with other idols at award shows in a way that offers win-win situations, or very occasionally win-lose, and he is the one losing. Selflessness, lol.
-He can be very talkative, lively, cringily funny and goofy with the boys(Ne), but also smart, logical, jokingly savage, and observant(Ti), as well as comforting, selfless, helpful and “motherly” with them(Fe).
-I feel the reason many disagree on what Jin’s type is because all of his functions are so well developed, it’s difficult to see with his dominant, auxiliary, tertiary, and inferior.
-But Jin did rank his test results 4.5/5, and I definitely think he is an INTP with a developed Fe.
-Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Life Is Strange MBTI: Nathan Prescott and why he is an ISFP 6w7
Nathan Prescott has been one of my favourite characters ever since I’ve played and finished LiS! I’ve been always drawn to characters like him. I love a good challenge. And characters who appear one way and are, in fact, another (sometimes the exact opposite) has always been my cup of tea.
Unfortunately, these characters often suffer from a misunderstanding by the majority of the fandom. People refuse to look deeper into them and are quick to assume that their surface behaviour is their „real“ personality. And this, with many other factors, leads to mistyping them.
That’s why I’d love to share my point of view with you!
In the following paragraphs, I’m going to try to get into Nathan’s head a bit more, look deeper into him, see through his mask and show you why do I think he’s an ISFP counterphobic 6w7! :)
I’d also like to forewarn you that this article is most likely to contain some spoilers from the game! So if you haven’t finished it yet you might want to avoid the “keep reading” option.
Typing Nathan is nothing easy. It’s not just that he is unhealthy but, mainly, he’s affected by various mental illnesses. Typing a character with mental illness is always sort of a challenge since their behaviour is out of the ‘norms‘ we tend to associate with each type.
If the player is cautious enough they may notice that there are a lot of hints suggesting that Nathan suffers from bipolarity disorder, most likely schizophrenia, depression, psychosis and even some eating disorders etc.
Meeting Nathan:

When Nathan is presented to the player for the very first time he appears to be this unstable, paranoid, impulsive, ruthless, bully rich-kid who goes around bullying and intimidating others, going as far as to pull a gun on them.
If a player wants to truly understand Nathan they should view him as, sort of, two different people.
However, the game offers us some parts and scenes where we can see Nathan’s “real“ personality.
To understand it better we’ll use the most generic pattern for typing a character. We’ll focus on the Exterior Nathan (they way he makes himself to be) and Interior Nathan (the way he’s really like.)
Let’s start with Exterior Nathan.
Nathan’s surface is quite clear, we’ve already talked about it a bit. He wants to be intimidating, he wants to control people, to control the situation, he has no problem with threating and bullying others, he’s critical, pretentious, rude, hot-headed, quick to act etc. And all of these exterior qualities make a lot of people mistype him.
Nathan is mostly (in like 99.9% of the cases) /mis/typed as ESTP (Se, Ti, Fe, Ni). Let’s take a look at some examples from the gamse:
Why do people think Nathan is an Extravert:

Nathan is known and shown as the head of Vortex Club. He’s supposed to attend all these big parties with tons of people, therefore he has to interact with them. He’s supposed to spend time with all the popular kids.
But does that mean he enjoys it?
Does that mean he recharge this way? Or is he doing it just to support the act?
If you think about it, have you really seen him joyfully interacting with anyone else besides Victoria?
In the limited edition of Life Is Strange which was released on January 19, 2016, his door slate is replaced with LEAVE ME ALONE instead of the original THE PRESCOTTS RULE THIS TOWN!!! slate. Implying that he may act a certain way but, deep down, think something completely different.
Why do people think Nathan is a Thinker:
There’s a common assumption going around that Thinkers are usually more ruthless, rude, cold and cruel than Feelers.
And Nathan, without a doubt, acts cold. He seems to think he’s way above everyone else, doesn’t hesitate to swear, and attack people – either emotionally or physically.
Therefore it’s more likely for a Thinker to spit profanities at you or/and trying to intimidate you, which Nathan does quite often.
A lot of people don’t seem to connect rudeness and hostility with Feelers.
Feelers are portrayed as these warm and gentle people who would do headstands to help someone, they won’t curse at anyone, won’t boast about having this and that, instead, they’d keep modest.
Out of thinkers, ESTPs are best known as the “bullies“ of MBTI when unhealthy.
Why do people think Nathan is an Eight:

Enneagram is all about the Basic desire and the Basic fear. If we look up enneagram type Eight we’ll come to find out that:
Basic Desire: To be in control | Basic fear: To be controlled.
It’s absolutely understandable people think Nathan is an Eight. He actually gives away almost all the signs of an unhealthy Eight.
Unhealthy Eights, among other things: Are filled with fear that someone may take advantage of them. They’re quick to let everyone know who’s the boss here. They are highly confrontational, bullying. They use threats and power as tactics to make others obey them.
8w7s: One of the subtypes which is most prone to addiction. Many examples that Nathan is doing drugs (hard or soft) can be found in the game. 8w7s are competitive, very boastful, materialistic, wanting to show off they’re better than others. Can’t stand self-pitying in others (as well as in themselves). At their worst, they can be explosive and violent.
As you can see Nathan really does appear to be an ESTP 8w7. People who type him that way can’t be really blamed, especially because he plays out his charade so well.
However, I feel that typing Nathan the way he makes himself to be is a huge loss for his “real“ character, for the way he’s underneath all the designer clothes and sharp words.
Why is Nathan an ISFP (Fi, Se, Ni, Te):

Nathan doesn’t appear to be what ISFPs are known for. He doesn’t seem like a gentle, warm person who wouldn’t hurt a fly, does he?
Why’s that?
Because he’s highly unhealthy. Therefore the most frequent ISFP pattern cannot be applied to him.
There’s a huge conflict going on inside Nathan.
As the typical FiSe he has problems with making decisions. His auxiliary Se values freedom. To be able to do exactly what he wants to do, whenever he feels like it. Unfortunately, that is not how Nathan’s life is supposed to be.
Since he’s the son of (one of) the most important families in Arcadia Bay he can’t be the way he would have wanted to.
He cannot be himself which is the most horrible thing that could happen to a FiSe. And this can’t lead to anything else than to him becoming unhealthy.
Dominant Fi is usually what helps ISPFs to connect the dots between events going on. It keeps them present. They’re truly living in a moment. They are able to differ who’s a good person and who’s a bad person. However, this function gets oppressed when the FiSe becomes unhealthy making them delusional and out of touch with reality.

(A letter to Nathan’s father from Nathan’s personal doctor. The letter can be found in Life Is Strange episode 4 in the Dark Room.)
Auxiliary Se makes ISFPs very individualistic people. They might enjoy breaking rules from time to time even when healthy.
Unhealthy Auxiliary Se: rules-breaking becomes almost the meaning of their life. Nathan feels the need to express himself and he does it the worst way possible. By breaking every single rule that exists.

(A list of Nathan’s recent lash-outs. The list can be found in Life Is Strange episode 3 on the computer in principal’s office.) (The attempted theft of Tobanga can even be considered as another effect of unhealthy Se: Auxiliary Se users need to connect with nature, their surroundings influence them and they feel drawn to it, want to experience things with all their senses)
Tertiary Ni usually functions as the supportive, understanding friend to an ISFP. The one who pats them on the back and says It’s okay, you don’t have to understand everything and everyone. It’s okay to feel this way.
Unhealthy tertiary Ni twists around the original concept and makes ISFPs doubt themselves to the fullest. Making them feel worthless and useless if they can’t fulfil what they’re supposed to. Eventually leading to them becoming apathetic because no matter what, they won’t be able to satisfy their and others needs.
Inferior Te is the function which raises (and oppresses the dominant function; Fi) when an ISFP becomes unhealthy. To put it simple ISFPs are completely robbed of their warm personality. They become extremely paranoid. They tend to be over-analytical, thinking everything is out to get them, they misinterpret innocent gestures for threats. Instead of being able to tell trustworthy and dangerous people apart they assume everyone is potentially dangerous – which leads to them becoming antisocial and distant.

(Nathan’s scribbles reading Rachel In The Dark Room. This scribble can be found in Life Is Strange episode 3 on the computer in principal’s office.)
Why is Nathan an Introvert:

An introvert recharges when being alone. They need time for themselves. Which seems to multiply in Nathan since he has to act like a certain someone. He definitely needs the time to sort his thoughts out.
We may want to take his changed door slate into consideration.
He’s often seen alone. When talking to people about Nathan most of them reply that they’ve recently seen him going around alone mumbling something to himself.
In Before The Storm, he’s even more introverted. Probably because he’s not that damaged yet. He’s shown walking around the campus, clutching his portfolio not wanting to talk to anyone. When he’s forced to interact with others he leaves to be by himself as soon as possible.
The only moment we can see him with a relaxed expression is when he’s sitting alone on the fountain in the middle of the campus.
Why is Nathan a Feeler:

(Natha’s Best Son In The World diploma which can be found in Life Is Strange episode 4 in his dormitory room.)
The question should be phrased Why is Nathan a Feeler and doesn’t appear warm and welcoming?
I think you guessed the answer by now: It’s because he’s the unhealthy type of a Feeler.
The main difference between Thinking and Feeling is that Thinkers are objective and Feelers are subjective. It honestly strikes me how people can type Nathan as a Thinker when he is all about being subjective and objectivity is the last thing one can find in his personality.
Pretty much everything he does is subjective and impulsive. He doesn’t apply methodical logic when making decisions, he makes them based on his own ‘logic‘ and the heat of the moment. Rather than logic, it’s his heart he depends on.
He lets people take advantage of him (especially authoritative figures) so he can feel at least a bit valued. According to the diploma in his room, he clearly cares (or once cared) for what his father thinks about him. He wants to make him proud and therefore does anything and everything (based on completely subjective ‘logic’) to make him feel that way.
Why is Nathan a counterphobic Six?
It’s quite common that counterphobic Sixes get mistyped as Eights, and that’s exactly what usually happens when typing or analysing Nathan’s character.
Enneagram Six:
Basic Desire: To feel safe/secure | Basic fear: To be abandoned.
People seem to think Nathan does everything because he wants to be in control. Especially according to his own quote (and probably the most popular one) from the first episode of Life Is Strange.
But, in fact, Nathan doesn’t desire control as much as he desires security.
He’s absolutely lost in his own head. He’s been denied the medicaments that he needs, his thoughts are becoming scattered which makes him an Unhealthy counterphobic Six on a borderline of Destructive counterphobic Six.
Unhealthy Sixes: Feel the desire to escape from their own anxiety and doubts. They oscillate between being explosively reactionary or clingingly dependent. They can explode under pressure and then succumb to the fear of losing a certain amount of their security. They can appear independent only to mask the insecurity and clinginess. They tend to get rebellious and belligerent.

(The letter on the right is an unused letter which was supposed to be in the game. It’s Nathan’s letter to Mr Jefferson after Mr Jefferson cut ties with him after the Rachel incident.)
Destructive Sixes: are even more insecure, anxious and paranoid – to the point where they can abuse drugs (from alcohol to heroin) to ease their anxiety since they feel there’s no other escaping. They often suffer from chronical depression. They can stay in an abusive, manipulative relationship fearing that their partner will somehow punish them if they leave or do anything wrong. Counterphobic Sixes are most likely to become hysterical and lash out at others.

(A note from Mark Jefferson which can be found in the Dark Room in episode 4: Relationship between Mr Jefferson and Nathan is definitely an abusive one. Mr Jefferson uses him, taking advantage of his weak psyche while Nathan depends on him and sees him as the father he’s never had)
6w7s: Six with a Seven-wing can be overly ingratiating because they want to be accepted and liked. They can get impulsive for the sake of quelching their anxiety. In extreme cases can become utterly manic and chaotic, experience enormous mood swings from mania to depression and vice versa – this can be associated with Nathan’s bipolarity. May resort to drugs, drinking, overspending, overexercising, overeating or nonproductive hanging-out as a way to try calming their anxieties.
Nathan is most likely a Self-Preservation type. He values his security to the highest levels. His main instinct is to survive. This can be affected/supported by the denial of any medical treatment for his illnesses.
SP Sixes: Consider their home as somewhat like a castle, island, fortress or barrier of safety to protect them against the dangers of the outside world. Although definitely not the Prescott Estate but this can be easily applied on Nathan’s dorm. Tend to be overly concerned about how authority figures perceive them; feel the need to be well liked by them. Can develop theories about people’s negative moods or hostile intentions which are totally off (goes along with the unhealthy usage of cognitive functions).
- - - - - - Phew, This was quite the journey! Thank you all who finished the whole analysis! This is pretty much all I have to say about Nathan’s character! :)
Let me know what do you think of him! I’d be more than happy to discuss him with you literally anytime because he definitely is one of my top favourite characters! :D
If you feel like it, you can find me on one of my tumblrs, entirely dedicated to Nathan here!
Thank you once again! ^u^

THE ULTIMATE BTS ASTROLOGY ANALYSIS: MOON SIGNS- JHOPE
BTS moon signs masterlist
Jin, Jhope, and Namjoon all have their moons in their 1st house, so I wanted to put them close together so as you are reading, you can see how the SIGN (Aries for Jin, Taurus for Jhope, Sagittarius for Namjoon) can change, making the PLANET (moon) act so different from person to person.
For reference, Here is what planets, signs, and houses mean. For all things astrology, go here. The moon is your emotions and how you react and handle your feelings in day- to- day life. The house and what zodiac sign your moon is in will affect how you handle your emotions compared to someone else.
JHOPE

Moon In Taurus 1st House
Namjoon has said before that if he wasn’t the leader of BTS, that J-Hope would be the next best option. His Taurus moon in his 1st house really highlights his leadership qualities. I often view J-Hope and Jin as kind of the rocks of the group. Every group has one; that one member that if they aren’t around, the other members seem lost. I always think of Mark from GOT7, Blackpink’s Jisoo, and Seungkwan, Joshua, and Jeonghan from Seventeen. They are always quietly supporting their members and just seem to be super observant. Hell, Mark has flown to his bandmate’s shows in other countries tons of times to go support his maknaes even though they always make fun of him. Notice how Bambam posts birthday wishes for ONLY Mark on instagram? Ride or die type stuff. That’s how I view Hobi as well.
Hobi himself has shown those qualities countless times, as members have spoken that he always agrees to a late night drink on the spot, and always drops by solo shoots to support his members. He even did it most recently in Jin’s Suchwita episode!
Hobi’s Taurus moon give him the qualities of stability, security, strength, and sensitivity. Taurus is an earth sign represented by the bull. I always imagine bulls like oxen- very heavy and sturdy; reliable and strong. These attributes fit well with Taurus. What makes this earth sign different from Virgo or Capricorn is that Taurus is ruled by Venus, making this zodiac have a more sensual and luxurious feel. Have you ever met a Taurus that doesn’t like the finer things in life? They work hard to get those expensive items, and that certainly applies to J-Hope as well, as he is a well-known fashion lover and goods collector.
The moon is emotions, so when combined with Taurus, it makes the person like to stick to what they know. Basically they are not big fans of change. Hobi does have an INFJ MBTI (same!) and is probably a homebody like me. A Taurus moon definitely likes a cozy familiar environment. I just imagine his house to be filled with throw pillows and the comfiest blankets.
A Taurus moon is actually exalted, meaning that the moon is the most comfortable in this zodiac sign, so lucky J-Hope! Basically, this means that he has control over his emotions. His strong constitution and emotional stability help him keep his cool in stressful situations and contribute to his success.
Taurus Moon Square Aquarius Sun
If you are an old ARMY like myself, you remember all of the hate Hobi received in the beginning of BTS’s career. There were even smear campaigns to get him to leave the band. The hate got so bad that Jimin had to post that photo of him spelling out Jhope's name on Twitter (rip their old account when they used to actively use it) to cheer Hobi up :(. This hate can be seen most clearly through his Taurus moon square Aquarius Sun: it was written in the stars for him to go through these hard life lessons to become who he is today. This aspect tells of success that does not come easy and is only achieved from hard work. (He learns this wisdom and applies it via his Taurus Moon Square Aquarius Mars which we will talk about next.)
Hobi’s ego (sun) and his emotions (moon) are not aligning. While he may be strong willed (Taurus moon), he may not have all the resources and support systems readily available for him (Aquarius moon). We all know that J-Hope is very close to his family and had to move to Seoul from Gwangju to be a trainee. He even said that he quit BigHit and only came back because Jungkook begged him. It seems after that experience he really buckled down and made some thoughtful plans about how to execute his path forward so he could achieve his goals. His determination, stamina, and discipline paid off as all the work he did back then has made his life easier now.

Taurus Moon Square Aquarius Mars
J-Hope took the wisdom from the hard lessons he had to learn as a trainee and applied it to pursuing his goals. His Taurus Moon (strong willed determination to get what he wants) being square to his Aquarius Mars (drive and passion that inspires others) helped him to debut and go on to become one of the most famous dancers in K-Pop history. He continued to practice and improve his dancing skills by uploading Hope on the Street videos, showing off his determination to improve himself.
Taurus Moon Opposite Scorpio Jupiter
This placement makes Hobi willing to take risks and go for it (Scorpio Jupiter) but because it is opposite his Taurus Moon, his emotions can cause him to doubt himself. A perfect example would be Run BTS episodes where he is afraid of heights or to stick his hand in the unknown box. He wants and needs the feeling of being passionate about his daily routine and feels it is invested with his later goals or mission. He is so committed to BTS and perfecting their dance, that the members are “scared” of him when he goes into dance teacher mode. He needs to make sure that he isn’t so invested in work that he stresses himself out, though. Having practical strategies to deal with emotional distractions, like hobbies or someone to vent to would be good for someone with this placement. This aspect also makes him extremely likable! Other people admire and look up to him (Taurus Moon) and enjoy his friendly nature, optimism, and generosity (Scorpio Jupiter).

Taurus Moon Trine Capricorn Uranus
Yoongi and Hobi both have this placement since entire generations will have the same Saturn-Pluto since they are slow moving planets. These qualities demonstrate differently in these two men because of their different moons. A good rule of thumb for remembering Uranus is that it is ruled by Aquarius. Aquarius= all things eccentric, alien, weird, out of the box. Hoseok’s Capricorn Uranus is positively aspecting his Taurus Moon. Remember his infamous acorn pouch? This is where his love for all weird fashion things comes from! Others are intrigued by his personal style and freedom of expression. He may be the weirdest or most unique person in the room (and he certainly has had an interesting fashion evolution over the years), but it has zero impact on his confidence. He is sure of who he is and he is elated to share it with the world! That is why he is so fun and exciting to be around.
Taurus Moon Trine Capricorn Neptune
Hobi also shares this same placement with Yoongi, except their moon signs are different. This will make the way the planets affect slightly different. Hobi sees the big picture in everything and has a talent for finding a way to get there, whereas Yoongi is a little more black-and-white (although over the years he does seem to be getting wiser with age).

J-Hope has incredibly strong empathy for others, making him extremely trustworthy and easy to get along with. He might also see the best in others when they may not deserve it, and may need to take caution to make sure this doesn’t backfire. Like, not spilling his guts to someone he thinks is a friend who then goes and blabs to the media type of thing. Jimin has said he has lost friends because of situations like this. I’m curious to see if he has this placement.
Taurus Moon Opposite Scorpio Pluto
Hobi’s exalted Taurus moon faces difficulty as it is opposite Scorpio Pluto. Scorpio (transformation, death) and Pluto (transformation) are a killer combination for the ego. Emotions come from the deepest parts of Hoseok’s being and are not always easy for him to understand. It could have been especially hard in his early life where it might have felt as if his emotions controlled him and they manifested themselves ferociously and unfiltered. He might have had terrible tantrums or was labeled “sensitive”. Over time and with more life experiences, he learned how to control his emotions and was probably able to strengthen his intuition with wisdom.

Hey, I saw your post about Namjoon being an ISFP and I was pretty surprised. Some time ago you said that he's an INFP (if I'm wrong, then sorry, but I believe you had a discussion on BTS's functions with someone who also tried to type them) and you mentioned he tells us about his sensory experiences. Don't you think he could be just overusing his Si, be stuck in a loop or something? I'm just curious, because I can't see him as an ISFP.
Hi! I’m assuming you’re referring to the time I had a debate with someone whether Yoongi is an INTP or INTJ. I just looked back at it, and I said that Namjoon is an Fi-dom. I’ve been on the fence about it for a long time now, it’s finally now that I was asked that I really sit down to think about it and narrow it down.
Ok, since I only analyzed Ni-tert rather than the possibility of an Si-tert, lemme do that really quickly. Healthy Si-tert is that when the Ne-aux is too busy popping out ideas and possibilities, some of the ideas might be too far out for it to actually work. So the Si is the introspection of what has been done before. Is this idea practical? Is it realistic? Is it valid? Can it actually work? Not everything has to be innovative, because sometimes some of the solutions are actually really simple, easy and is a tried and true way.
If the Ne is stretched super far out to the point that Fi isn’t able to keep up, Si snaps Ne away like a rubberband and Fi and Si loop around the Ne. Si tells the person, “I hate myself because I know I’m right, but everything I try isn’t even working. Everyone’s right, it’s unrealistic. I’ll just go back to sticking to what I know, what’s comfortable, and stop trying to explore my possibilities in making a difference.”
Given that, I’ve never seen his thought process to be “this is a practical, tried and true method that I can use.”
But what if the Se-Ni that I see is actually his Si? If that’s the case, where’s the Ne?
I have a sneaking suspicion that people will point out his music making is his Ne-Si working; it’s his creativity to come up with so many musical things, Si is telling him that music making is a tried and true method of his to share his ideas with the world. But we need to remember, these two are perceiving functions, they gather data for his Fi. As an INFP, he would judge a certain value within himself (Fi), gather the possibilities of where and what kind of ways can this value integrate into society (Ne), and then double check whether this can work (Si). Music is the result of of his decisions, not the process of his decisions. Also, I wouldn’t contribute his music to his Ne. I contribute his music to simply his passion, his job. Also, it’s his hard work (Te) that’s sharing his values and feelings (Fi)
Sensory example: this post. He told us a story with such detail, he remembered every moment. I’m not saying that detailed-storytelling is a for-sure way to recognize a high Se-user, but as my description of an Se-aux, this is how I would consider “gathering data on how the world works, what is happening with the world, and real-life experiences.”
Let’s look into another fancafe post for a looping example. “From the moment I pay attention to myself and others…I feel like I’m wandering with no direction/aims.” This is where I see his Se starting to stretch too far (by paying attention to everyone and himself for so long, to experience and indulge in all the emotions around). When he feels like he’s wandering with no direction/aims, that is Fi-Ni looping, there’s no meaningful direction. Tbh, in the rest of this post, he bounces from “wearing clothes that suits me, so I like it”, people’s loneliness, reaching “perfect understanding”, “can’t make up my mind about the weather”, etc. All of these things, tbh, I’m sorry Namjoon, I’m not following. He bounces around and even I don’t understand what he’s really trying to say (unless I’m stupid, we can go with that if you’d like).
In his mixtape, RM, as well as his random song he popped out (i don’t rmbr why), Always, I see his Fi super strong in all his lyrics, as well as his Ni in regards to finding the meaning of things.
That’s why I think he’s Ni-tert.

Run BTS show content ideas that we might see in the future.
...and not necessarily as a Run BTS episode!

This Photo Folio idea was Jungkook’s because during Run BTS ep. 124 aired Jan. 12, 2021, he came up with this idea. Here is how that episode unfolded and all the ideas that poured forth and a long analysis of how many have been used so far:
In the first part of episode 124, they brainstormed and presented ideas. They were given about 20 minutes to jot down some ideas. They did a lot of talking while sitting. Hobi said roller skating. JK and RM approved, then Hobi backtracked thinking it too dangerous, then Jin said in that case bicycles are too dangerous too. Yoongi said tennis and RM approved of that too. A few months after they filmed this, they probably shot the Dynamite MV’s and all that went with Dynamite including the roller skating rink that ended up in a couple of Bangtan Bombs. As we saw, Tae and Hobi were newbies at roller skating.
They all jokingly talked about a drivers license challenge for RM.
Hobi said hair designer. Yoongi brought up team sports and JK said e-sports, Yoongi said basketball.
Hobi said raw fish/slicing fish which was a very unique idea. A sushi show. We’ve seen various Run BTS episodes that involved cooking and food prep.
Jimin said keyword location hunt meet up using memory or telepathy to find it and all meet there. Yoongi said it could be emotional, Hobi said it would be funny if all but one made it to the meeting spot...they all laughed about the possible outcomes of that idea.
After writing down their ideas they each stood on the platform and made presentations.
They all said standing up there speaking made them nervous. (kekekeke)
Yoongi's presentation:
Sports challenge but wasn’t clear whether to play as one team against another unknown team or what. They did table tennis in episodes 138 and 139.
Psychological counseling or mental analysis which Jimin thought it was a great idea. This was the MBTI Lab videos they posted on BangtanTV back in May of this year.
Tae’s presentation:
Learn a music instrument and then perform a song as a band. Um is this why JK has been really taking his drum lessons seriously? We’ve seen him carrying the drum stick case everywhere and not yet once seen him playing drums recently.
Bangtan in disguise...travel on public transportation etc. and if you arrive at the final point without being recognized, you win. As soon as you are recognized, you are out of the game. Everyone agreed that was a brilliant idea. But good luck with that. Security guys will need to be in disguise as well.
Hobi’s presentation:
Hair designer. Jimin was ok with it as long as it was just styling and not cutting. I am really, really serious now. All of the long hair on the members is for this episode. We will be getting Hair Designer Bangtan in an Run BTS episode. Mark my words.

Healing time doing what each member likes to do for self care but separately. Jimin did not like it because he feels they should be together doing something.
BTS song festival, divide into teams and make songs to upload to Soundcloud for Army.
Jimin’s presentation:
The telepathy meet-up. This is obviously the theme of the upcoming Run BTS reboot – the Run BTS Telepathy Special teaser with them being led out of the studio blindfolded and we’ve seen photos of them out on the streets and in front of that stadium. All of which was filmed earlier this year.

Robotics. I would love to see them try this but so far, not any evidence that it might come to pass.
Crafts, accessories, friendship accessory (jewelry), silver. Of course, this was Jimin’s Vlog.

Hide and seek police and thief game on a large scale. This would be interesting.
Jin’s presentation:
Maze, large scale or 7 identical rooms and each has as much time as they need to escape it. Escape room type thing. I am thinking they did something like this in the past.
Scavenger hunt on a mountain (rent a mountain hahahahaha, money is no object for Jin) similar to the one they did on ATVs but this time walking/hiking. I would love to see this.
Classic childhood games, throwing at a target, hopscotch, rubberband, spin tops, etc.
Tae's additional idea:
Mafia village role play game where each member plays a character they need to really get into while the game is ongoing. They did this in Ep. 120 Dec. 15, 2020 when they role-played and searched for clues in real buildings, and in Ep. 121 when they continued their missions but at the end of the episode they got transported back in time to Joseon Dynasty and those episodes were 145, episode 146 and 147 which aired August 2021.
Namjoon’s presentation:
Create Run BTS theme song (ost) using simple objects. They did create a Run BTS song but it was far from simple. It’s a banger and apparently going to be used as the ost for the Run BTS reboot!
Lucky 7 with simple things (the childhood games idea), flipping bottle competition, bottle caps, etc. Run BTS episodes 126 and 127 were titled 777 Lucky Seven 1 and 2.
Fan merchandise. Of course this is the Artist Made Merch we fought the Hunger Games for at the beginning of this year. These items were already in the works by the time this brainstorming episode aired in January 2021 as the planning stages began in late 2020.

Jungkook’s presentation:
Photoshoot for editorial pictures. THIS is where Vampkook originated. This is the Photo Folio idea.

He brought up team sports again and everyone discussed different sports.
Jimin brings up shooting a music video for a b-side song and JK says he had that idea as well.
In the second part of the episode they reconvened at some point within the following month and a half and they narrowed down the short term and long term ideas:
The results:
Short term show themes: Role play Mafia game and Lucky 7 games. These were episodes 120-121 and 145-147 and Lucky 7 games were episodes 126-127 as mentioned above.
Long term project: Learn a team sport and all kinds of sports were listed: basketball, tennis, volleyball, dodgeball, baseball. As it turned out, tennis was the chosen sport and it played out in episodes 129 and 130. We know Jin ended up taking on tennis as a hobby because we’ve seen a Bangtan Bomb as well as Jin posting on his IG his late night tennis practices and we’ve seen Jimin and Jungkook going to their tennis lessons together for which I cannot find the video but here someone posted a clip of it on twitter.
So...that leads us to why I started this post in the first place: Photo Folio which was Jungkook’s photoshoot idea. We are getting photos and maybe behinds I think.
And the other ideas they brainstormed...I wonder if we will see they have learned music instruments since we know Jungkook carried his drumsticks everywhere. Playing music instruments as a band, a b-side song music video shoot, large scale maze, robotics, hair designer, Bangtan in disguise...all ideas we are waiting to see realized. They did so good coming up with ideas.
NOTE: I believe the brainstorming episode 124 was filmed in 2020 because they spoke about social distancing. The first part of the episode with blonde Jimin was filmed probably March 2020 and the second part with black hair Jimin was filmed probably late April or early May before the 28th because by then Yoongi had black hair.
#Run BTS the show#vampkookie#i got to watch a bunch of Run BTS shows for this post#i would love to see them playing instruments on stage#i think going to concerts where artists play instruments has influenced them#i see a bruno mars/anderson paak vibe#one can dream and hope#bts chapter 2#blonde jimin

I learnt today that Owen has/had cats, and we know Tom adopted dog(s?), I'm curious to see if a personality analysis can come out of this cuz they are otherwise mostly very similar (love the mbti posts btw)
my analysis of this is: OWEN HAS CATS???? CAN THIS MAN PLEASE STOP MAKING ME FALL IN LOVE WITH HIM MORE AND MORE EVERY SINGLE DAY I'M FHSJDHDJ
other than that though it's pretty interesting to me. this is not really an analysis, more of a vague personal thought based on how cats and dogs usually behave. that said, Owen (the more bubbly and extroverted of the two) having cats makes me think that he's probably good at respecting boundaries and not overwhelming others. while Tom (the more measured and introverted of the two) liking dogs makes me think that he probably enjoys being around energetic people.
in my completely biased eyes this confirms that:
their characters are not as extreme as they might seem at a very surface level. tom is more energetic and chaotic than he looks (and this is far from a shock once you see a few interviews or bts) and Owen can be more mellow than he lets on
they do well with people whose character sits on the other side of the spectrum
my conclusion is: they're soulmates literally perfect for each other I love their dynamic good for them good for them
#literally owen is a golden retriever and tom is a cat#at first i was like nah idk what to say about this it doesn't really mean anything#but the more i think about it the more it does actually mean quite a lot#i love it#i love them#also as always i'm joking about them but i genuinely love their dynamic even just as platonic and i'm so happy they found each other#personality rants#widdlewow#owen wilson#tom hiddleston

BTS MBTI
*based on my opinion and cognitive functions. May change later.*
*Also I am aware they have talked about their types, but they most likely used the 16personalities site or something similar. The results are often very inaccurate from there.*
Explanation of functions
___
RM: INFJ (Ni - Fe - Ti - Se)
Ni (Introverted Intuition) is a perceiving function that prefers to plan things out and focus on future goals. It seeks for deeper meanings in things. RM seeks for deeper meanings, peeling layers of things and people. He's clearly always had the dream of making music and making an impact with their work and so never gave up on it. Even when they were at risk at disbandment, he never wavered and continued to pursue his dream with the help of his members (Fe).
Fe (Extroverted Feeling) is a judging function that's concerned with social harmony. It places value and concern on other's feelings. He has always put the group first, always does what's best for everyone. Values deep connections with others, his Ni makes him curious about a person and want to get deep into their mind, so his Fe may push for him to get them comfortable enough to open up. He's always been very aware of how other perceive him and the group and has always used his Fe to guide the group in a careful manner. He himself always tries fo be considerate and sensitive to other's opinions and emotions.
Ti (Introverted Thinking) is a judging function that is curious about the fundementals of systems. It constructs a consistent system in the mind for the info it analyzes. He picks apart at his insights and thoughts, as Ti can be concerned with the small details. Ni - Ti doesn't want to miss a thing and risk messing up his plans.
Se (Extroverted Sensing) is a perceiving function that relies on the 5 functions to process the world. As his inferior, Namjoon is incredibly clumsy and honestly seems to lack some common sense. However, he seems to be trying to engage with it more by biking and travelling to places. He especially loves going to art galleries, which allows his Se to just appreciate the art for what it is while his Ni also tries to decipher the meaning of the pieces.
...
Jin: INTP (Ti - Ne - Si - Fe)
Ti - Jin seems to be really good at logical games, usually quick to analyze situations. He also doesn't mind just speaking his mind at times, even risking conflict just to defend his claims.
Ne (Extroverted Intuition) is a perceiving function that sees connections between ideas and many possibilities and outcomes. His random connection of ideas during his debate on BTS Run...Even when he's just talking on Vlives, he often rambles and can drift away and jump onto different topics.
Si (Introverted Sensing) is a perceiving function that relies on past experiences and set systems to figure out answers for the present and future. Jin can be skeptical of new things, preferring to stick to stuff he's familiar with (e.g can be doubtful of new tech bc he isn't sure if it eould actually be helpful).
Fe - Inferior Fe makes him kind of awkward, especially in emotional situations. He also kind of "bursts" with his feelings, especially anger, but he does try to diffuse it with some humor. It's like he's kind of aware of the mood of the environment, but since intense emotions are awkward for Ti doms to handle, he still has the need to release the intensity. He doesn't want to make others and himself uncomfortable though, so it can be expressed a bit harshly.
...
Suga: INTJ (Ni - Te - Fi - Se)
Ni - Has always dreamt of working in music, putting in all his effort (with Aux Te especially) to achieve his dreams. Even when his parents didn't want him to, he still chased after his passion. Ni works with having a clear goal in mind, which for Yoongi was to become a music producer.
Te (Extroverted Thinking) is a judging function that focuses on making objective decisions for an efficient and productive environment. Goal oriented and ambitious, success and recognition means a lot to Suga. He always puts so much effort into what he does in order to achieve his best work
Fi (Introverted Feeling) is a judging function that is focused on one's own feelings, morals, and values. Suga may not be the most expressive person physically, but he clearly puts a lot of his personal and deep feelings into his music. A lot of his songs display Ni - Fi loop - unsure where to go and what to do, wondering if there's even meaning or a reason for what he does, etc... He's genuinely very sweet though and empathetic.
Se - Yoongi's inferior Se isn't as bad as Namjoon's. Not as clumsy (although has sustained a few injuries here and there...). He doesn't like to move around a lot physically though, would rather just move at his own pace. It also seems like it's hard for him to enjoy the moment at times as he wants to work on the next big thing.
...
J-Hope: ESFJ (Fe - Si - Ne - Ti)
Fe - Hobi is incredibly in tune with the mood of the environment, he's always trying his best to liven things up and make others laugh. His Fe can be a mask for him sometimes as he tries to be positive and smiling all the time. A social chameleon. He gains energy by being around people, even throwing a huge party.
Si - A clean freak and super organized like many Si doms/aux. He also isn't the most eager about new experiences as he gets scared easily. He's not really a risk taker. His Si gives him a good eye for details and routine, which is probably why he's such a perfectionist about dancing. Se is more focused on energy and image of the dance, while Si wants to get the moves correctly.
Ne - Goofy and fun, his Fe - Ne brings out his weirdness and optimism. He's also really creative, which can be shown through his style of clothing and even to his album covers (compared to Ni doms Joon and Yoongi, his covers are so much more colorful), and even to the way he can easily do freestyle dances.
Ti - Seems to be more comfortable just observing and listening to what people say during group discussions. His Fe may make him more conscious about what he says in order not to accidentally offend, while Ti will usually just be more straightforward.
...
Jimin: ENFJ (Fe - Ni - Se - Ti)
Fe - Definitely cares about how others view him, is quite sensitive to other's words and opinions. He craves external validation. He's also constantly preoccupied with how others are doing and spends a lot of time with them, talking to them and helping them when he hardly uses the opportunity to express himself.
Ni - Has talked about how all of his dreams/goals have been achieved by now. He even obsesses over meanings of concepts and details, which is definitely Ni. His goal has always been to be a singer that can comfort others, which is so Fe - Ni.
Se - His dance and performance skills are amazing for sure, he always gives it his all on stage. Fe - Se lets him focus on the current moment and be able to read people's moods, so it can make him really sociable and receptive.
Ti - I don't see this much since he doesn't seem too concerned about analyzing details and being logical. He's too kind to the point of caring a bit too much of others rather than asserting his own independence. Ti doms/aux usually won't care what others think of them, but with a high Fe, Jimin is sensitive.
...
V: ENFP (Ne - Fi - Te - Si)
Ne - Always doing things differently compared to others, being very creative with solutions (e.g pretending to be a mannequin when RM was looking for him). His creative and unique mind is probably what made people call him weird in the beginning of their debut
Fi - Tae always wants to express who he is, he will not change himself for anyone. He always states his true thoughts and feelings (e.g telling weird fans to stop being so stuck in their imaginations, basically telling a fan he'll do what he wants when they commented something rude about his mustache, etc).
Te - Having Fi - Te makes him blunt and straightforward. He doesn't mind calling out people if they've bothered (if i recall correctly, he shoved his camera in front of a fan who was way too close to him and had her phone in his personal space)
Si - Taehyung seems to dislike a predictable routine, always wanting variety in his life. He has talked about how he picks up new hobbies only to drop them not too long after.
...
Jungkook: ISFP (Fi - Se - Ni - Te)
Fi - Introspective and focused on authenticity, Jungkook just wants to focus on being himself. He wants people to see who he is and like him for him. He's definitely very passionate about his career and about the world in general. Fi - Ni wants to live without restrictions and achieve his dreams. He just does what he wants to do.
Se - The fact he pretty much excels at a lot of physical activities (dancing/performing, boxing, black belt, swimming, literally snatching an eel out of water so easily, etc) is a good indicator of aux se. He pays attention to his aesthetics, expressing himself through creative outlets such as drawing and fashion. His Se pushes him to just go for it, with the help of the emotions of Fi.
Ni - His Fi seems to fuel his Ni in doing whatever he wants to do. E.g younger Jungkook saying he wanted tattoos and years later getting a sleeve and several piercings
Te - His Te seems to be maturing as he's said he's a lot more relaxed with his emotions now. He isn't as impulsively emotional as he used to be, more patient with himself and the external world.

BTS’ confirmed MBTI and how it shows in them
Part 1: RM
BTS confirmed their official MBTI types during BTS Festa in 2017.
RM - INFP
Jin - INTP
Suga - INFP
J-Hope - ESFJ
Jimin - ENFJ
V - ENFP
Jungkook - INFP
RM - INFP
-(Jesus actual Christ he looks so freaking good)
-Introversion, Intuitivion, Feeling, Perceiving
-An INFP’s cognitive functions are introverted feeling (Fi), extroverted intuition (Ne), introverted sensing (Si), and extroverted thinking (Te).
-So they are Fi dominant, Ne auxiliary, Si tertiary, and Te inferior. (In other words: Most to least dominant of their functions, but they all play at least one part.)
-Dom functions and aux functions are the most important, so an INFP is considered to be a “FiNe”.
-INFP’s lead with Fi, it’s their dominant function and the one they use the most, pretty much all the time.
-An FiNe’s “Feeling” is highly based on values and morals. Fi is a form of decision-making that is based off of their gut instincts and moral code. Those instincts are often based off of their strong value for authenticity and how they would want to be treated.
-^ That is why it doesn’t surprise me that Joon is a feeler rather than a thinker.
-Thinkers are said to be more logical and tend to follow their heads, and feelers are said to be more emotional tend to follow their hearts.
-Everybody does both!!!!!
-A lot of people view Namjoon as a thinker due to his academic intelligence, because smart people are purely logical, right? Not always. Often, sure, but not always. Whether you are a feeler or a thinker does not affect your academic success.
-I’ll never be able to know what exactly is going on in his head, but the way he talks, expresses emotions, and seems to view the world really says “feeling” and “Fi” to me.
-Now let’s talk about Ne, extroverted intuition. A type’s most dominant extroverted function is perceived as how they interact and see the outside world. An “external” function. This could seem confusing for Ne since “N” seems like a very internal trait.
-There is an internal aspect to it, since everything you do is based off of how your brain works.
-Ne aux’s way of “serving” the fi dom is by looking out and exploring all the sources, possibilities, values, ideals, and inspirations they can find among their outer would. They way they find and see all these things will often affect the way they speak and create. You can see this in the way Namjoon writes lyrics.
-His lyrics can be complicated or simple. He writes and produces the kind of songs that you can easily associate with an aesthetic. And many of the aesthetics gives off a creative and imaginative vibe. His lyrics can be inspiring as well.
-He clearly has strong and strict morals and especially for authenticity. You can see how passionate he is about the whole Love Yourself concept.
-Now lets talk about Si, introverted sensing, INFP’s tertiary function.
-Si is a bit more on the concrete and realistic side. Without tertiary Si, an INFP’s mind would be a mess. The Si function has a good sense of right and wrong. I like to say an INFP runs their values and morals through with Si to make sure they have the right thought process. Otherwise, Fi and Ne would be constantly giving INFP way to many unrealistic and unreliable thoughts. (Even more than they already do with Si.)
-Your tertiary function is much less overt than the first two, because of this, I have a bit of trouble seeing it in Namjoon as I would when typing anyone.
-The main thing is just how you can see all the right reasons why Namjoon values what he does.
-Now onto Te, extroverted thinking, INFP’s inferior function.
-Te is a problem-solving function. This could be where INFP’s always try to find win-win situations. Te tries to figure out the best way to do things, whether it’s the quickest way, the most efficient way, etc. it’s another logical trait. INFP’s don’t use this function very often.
-And I definitely won’t be able to spot the Te function in Namjoon since it is the inferior function and very covert.
-Now I can look a bit at the actual letters in “INFP”
-But in a nutshell because this is getting long
-Introversion: We don’t ever see him except when he is around people, but he could definitely be an introvert.
-Intuition: Namjoon definitely has an imaginative and creative way of thinking.
-Feeling: this being a slightly more covert trait it’s harder to notice, but you can see in his lyric writing and how he talks; he deeply feels his own emotions and is willing to express them and his moral ways and thoughts about things.
Perceiving: This trait is more flexible, adaptable, spontaneous, and open-minded than judging. I don’t know where to go into depth here, so basically I see all those traits in Namjoon.
-So overall, INFP is definitely Namjoon.
