Puyo Puyo Drama CD #8-2: Ecolo and the Puppy (ENG Translation)
Tumblr media
[DISCLAIMER: This translation was made by me! Feel free to repost parts of it or the entire text wherever you want as long as you credit the translator correctly!]
Translator’s Note:
This is a good time to mention that the Drama CD stories are not in chronological order and for most of them, it is hard to tell when exactly they take place. You will see why this is important to keep in mind for this track in particular.

Ringo: Ecolo and the Puppy
-
STORY
Ecolo: *humming a melody~*
Ecolo: Alright, where should I hang out to play today? Taking a stroll through spacetime sounds fun, but I could also just do what I always do pay Ringo a visit! That’d be nice~ *more humming*
???: *whimper*
Ecolo: *humming, continued* … Huh?
???:  *sad whine*
Ecolo:  Oh, wow… What’s the small thing squirming around under that bridge…?
-
[Puyo Battle SFX]
Ringo: Solved it! Got it!
Maguro:  Check this out! Here it comes!
Ringo: Permutation!
Maguro: Butterfly Dance!
Ecolo: Hey there~~!!
Ringo&Maguro: HUH!?
[Sound of a ton of Nuisance Puyo crashing down]
Ringo:  Ow, ow, ow, ow, OUCH!
Maguro: Oh no…!★
Ecolo: Hey, you guys, lookie what I got~!!
Ringo: Ecolo, c’mon! You can’t just barge through the clubroom window in the middle of our Puyo battle!!
Maguro:  Looks like all the Nuisance Puyo we were building up came crashing down all at once, huh…★
Risukuma: You will have to declare the battle a draw, it seems.
Ecolo: Oh, who cares about that! Anyway, look at this thing~!
Puppy:  *miserable whine*
Ringo:  I-Is that… a puppy? Awww!
Maguro: Wow, the lil’ guy sure is cute★
Risukuma: I have never seen a breed like this before. It might be some manner of mix.
Ringo:  Hey, Ecolo, where’d you even get that doggy from?
Ecolo:  Oh, it didn’t look like it had anything better to do, so I gave it a ride here!
Ringo: *terrified* W-W-What’s THAT supposed to mean!? Don’t tell me you just went and grabbed a dog from someone’s house…!?
Ecolo: You got it all wrong! It was sitting under some bridge, shivering something fierce!
Ringo: Huh…?
Maguro: So what you’re saying is that it’s probably a stray, I guess…
Ecolo: A “stray”?
Puppy: *whine, yipping!*
Ecolo: AH! HEY! Don’t just try to run off on me…!!
Ringo: Hey, Ecolo, listen. Stray dogs are often dogs that were abandoned by their owners.
Ecolo: Huh?
Ringo: That’s probably why it is on edge. It might be suffering from anxiety.
Maguro: Yeah, you might wanna be a little bit more gentle with it…★
Ecolo: It’s anxious…? That’s so rude! I wasn’t even trying to do anything bad to it!!
Puppy: *yipping*
Ringo: Ecolo! Stop it!!
Maguro: It’s still a baby, it doesn’t understand what you’re doing, or anything, for that matter.
Ecolo: What’s there not to understand, huh!?
Puppy: *whimper*
Risukuma: Mhmm… I would say that it appears to be hungry. How about we attempted to feed it for now?
Ringo: You’re right. Maybe it will be less anxious on a full stomach.
Ecolo:  Food, huh? Food… Oh, hey, Ringo! Hand over your apple!
Ringo: As if! Dogs don’t even eat apples!
Ecolo: Whaaaat? Picky, aren’t we…
Risukuma: We happen to have some cans of tuna and other foods here in the clubroom. Should we use one of those?
Ecolo: Will it really eat that stuff!? *SFX of can being peeled open* Heeeey, lil’ guy, you want some of this~?
Puppy: *curious puppy noises* *eating puppy noises*
Ecolo: Ahah! Wow, it ate it!
Maguro: And it’s eating really fast too. It must’ve been starving, poor thing.
Ecolo:  Whoa… Eating for your life, huh? ….Wooow…. Huuuuh…? Hmm…. Ahaha! You wanna have some more food?
Puppy:  *agreeing puppy noise*
Ecolo: Ahaha! Your voice is so funny~!
Ringo: Oh, wow, this might…
Maguro:  Um, Ringo…?
Ringo:  AAAALRIGHT, ECOLO! The others and I will be off now~!
Ecolo:  Huh!?
Ringo: So take good care of the little guy, okay~?
Ecolo:  T-T-TAKING CARE…??? ME???
Ringo: I mean, it doesn’t have an owner, right? It’s completely helpless on its own! It needs someone to look after it for a bit.
Maguro: Hm… Okay, I’ll be going home too★
Risukuma: And I, too, shall abscond for the day.
Ecolo: What? WHAT!?
Ringo: Alright, Ecolo! See ya~~!
[Footsteps of everyone leaving]
Ecolo: What… WHAAAAAAT!?!?!?
-
[Later]
Puppy: *whine*
Ecolo: Tch… I just wanted to show Ringo the funny, shivering furball I found! Why am I stuck doing this now!?
Puppy: *whine*
Ecolo: Urgh, let’s just ditch this thing here…
Puppy: *sad whine*
Ecolo:  Don’t you give me that look! I’ve got better things to do, y’know! More fun things, and… Huh? Eww, something stinks…  And why’s the floor all wet now? HUH!? Don’t tell me you peed yourself!? STOP IT!!
Puppy: *miserable whine*
Ecolo:  Huh!? Why are you shivering again now? Are you cold? Are you hungry?
Puppy: *whine*
Ecolo: Uhh… What’s your problem…!!!
-
[The next day, birds are singing]
Ringo:  Morning, Maguro~!
Maguro:  Morning, Ringo!★
Ringo: You sure are up early today~
Maguro:  Could say the same ‘bout you!★
Ringo: Eheheh! Guess you also wanted to and check out the situation in the clubroom, huh?
Maguro:  Yep★
Ringo: I sure was surprised to see Ecolo, of all people, pick up a stray dog. I wonder how he’s been handling taking care of it so far~
Maguro: I sure hope he didn’t just dropkick it outta the clubroom window…
Ringo: Oh, you don’t gotta worry about that. I know he doesn’t seem like it, but Ecolo’s actually pretty…
[They open the clubroom door]
Ringo: Hey, Ecolo! Good morning!
Maguro: I hope the puppy is okay★
Ringo: Wait… They’re not here!
Maguro: Where did they go!?
Ringo:  Ahhh, uhhh, ehhh… um… Huh!
Maguro: What, what’s happening?★
Ringo: You see that black puddle over there in the corner!? I… I think that’s Ecolo!
Maguro:  WAAAAH!? T-Then…
Puppy:  Woof! Woof, woof!
Maguro:  T-That dog just came leaping out of the puddle!!!
Ecolo:  *snor*
Ringo:  I think Ecolo’s asleep…
Ecolo:  Uhhh… Nooo… don’t pee yourself… go to sleeeep…. uhh…
Ringo:  Ahaha! He’s still taking care of the puppy in his dreams!
Maguro:  Looks like he used tissue paper to clean up the messes. There’s still some dog footprints all over here…Guess last night was dedicated to battling the little one’s bowels★
Puppy:  Woof, woof, woof!
Ringo:  Look at that doggy running circles around Ecolo!
Maguro:  Guess I really didn’t need to worry, huh…★
Ecolo:  Uhh… c’mon here where it's warm… stop shivering… uh…
Ringo: Yeah. Anyway, let’s let him rest for now…
[They close the door again.]
-
Puppy:  WAFF! Woof, woof, woof! Woof!
Ecolo:  Look, it’s a Puyo! Fetch!!
Puppy:  Yip, yip!!
[dog running]
Ecolo:  Hey, I said “fetch”! Not “catch and run off”!!
Puppy:  Yip, yip! Woof? Woof-woof!
Ecolo:  OH, C’MON!!!
Ringo: Ahh, it’s so peaceful these days~
Maguro:  Can’t disagree there…★
Risukuma:  Before we knew it, watching those two play by the riverbench has become part of our daily routine.
Ringo:  That dog has really grown fond of Ecolo, too…
Ecolo: Alright, now, sit! …I said ‘sit’!
Puppy:  Woof, woof!
Ecolo:  Oh, c’mon!
Ringo:  Ahahaha! Hey, Ecolo! You got trouble with obedience training?
Ecolo: And how! I mean, they got the easy tricks down by now, but…
Ringo:  Oh, like what? Please demonstrate!
Ecolo: Sure, okay! Let’s go… Hey, Puppy! Do a 5-chain!
Ringo&Maguro&RIsukuma: What?
[Puyo Battle SFX]
Puppy:  Woof! Wo-woof! Wowowooof! Wowowowoooof! Wohoooof!
Ecolo:  Goood! Great job~!
Puppy:  *happy puppy noises*
Risukuma:  Uuuuuuuuuuhm…….
Maguro: That’s… not the skill-level you usually go for when training your dog…★
Ecolo: I was thinking about teaching them how to talk next!
Ringo: *laughing* Ecolo, dogs can’t talk!
Ecolo:  Huh!? Are you serious?
Puppy:  Yiiiip?
Ecolo: Whaaaat? I thought for sure they’d learn how to talk when they grow up! I was so looking forward to that too! Hey, hey, are you sure you can’t talk? Hey, try saying my name! Say ‘Ecolo’! ‘E-co-lo’!
Puppy:  *confused whine*
Ecolo:  We really won’t be able to talk? Nooo….!
Ringo: Uhm… A-Anyway, Ecolo! Do you have a name for the lil’ guy already?
Ecolo:  A name…? Can’t I just keep calling them ‘puppy’?
Maguro:  Then how are you gonna tell them apart from other puppies? You should really give them a name that’s all their own★
Ecolo:  Uh? Uhm… Uhm… You pick one, Ringo!
Ringo: Okay! ‘Good-boy-Ecolo-found-ington’!
Maguro: Hey, Ecolo, maaaaybe relying on Ringo for names is kinda a bad idea...★
Ringo: You wanna say that again to my face, Mags?
Risukuma: You should probably give them a name that is easier to say and memorize.
Ecolo:  Alright, then I’m gonna shorten it to “Ecomaru”~!
[Translator’s note: “-maru” is a common name ending for old-fashioned boy’s names in Japan. Ringo’s original suggestion here contained it. Dogs tend to be given old-fashioned names in Japan.]
Puppy: Woof! Woof-woof!
Ecolo:  Ahahaha! That settles it! You’re Ecomaru now~!
-
[Rain SFX]
Ringo: It’s raining~♪ It’s raining~♪ It’s R-A-I-N-ing~! Just a raining afternoon in the physics-clubroom~It’s raining~♪
Risukuma: It is rather chilly outside today, wouldn’t you agree?
Maguro: I wonder if Ecomaru will be okay?
Risukuma: They have a reliable chaperone with them. I am sure they will be fine.
Ringo: You’re right! …Eheheheheh!
Maguro:  You sure seem to be in a good mood today, Ringo.
Ringo: I mean, look at how much progress Ecolo’s made! He’s being so kind and gentle with Ecomaru.
Maguro: Yeah, you’re right★
Ringo:  I mean, don’t get me wrong, I feel sorry for that puppy for having been abandoned, but I am really glad Ecolo met them. He hasn’t been up to his usual weird pranks at all anymore lately. Just watching the two of them together makes me really happy!
Maguro: That’s true. I do hope things stay this way★
[Rain SFX get louder]
Risukuma: Hm? I believe the rain has gotten a little stronger. I shall close the window for no-… Ooof!!
[Something shoots by]
Maguro:  R-Risukuma! Are you okay!?
Ringo: Sounded like something shot at him! Wait… is that… an arrow with a letter on it!?
Risukuma:  Y-Yes. There is no need to be alarmed. This is a letter from an acquaintance of mine. Let me see what it says… “I will be arriving shortly…?” Oh my, it sure has been a while.
Ringo:  A-An acquaintance? Ris, who is that acquaintance, exactly?
Risukuma:  Well, you see… Oh, it appears they have already arrived.
Ringo&Maguro: Huh?
[Sci-Fi SFX]
-
Ecolo:  It’s sure pouring down today. Let’s wait it out under this bridge for a while~!
Puppy: Woof!
Ecolo:  So, hey, Ecomaru?
Puppy: Yi~p?
Ecolo:  Ringo said that you were abandoned, right?
Puppy: Yip?
Ecolo: So everybody forgot about you, and then you were all on your own?
Puppy:  *whine*
Ecolo: Then I guess you’re the same as I was a while ago…
Puppy:  Yipyipyipyip!!
Ecolo:  Ahaha! Hey, don’t jump around, I’m being serious here! I’m ticklish… Ahaha… Anyway, it used to be the same for me. I was always on my own. And I thought I was fine that way.
Puppy:  *questioning whine*
Ecolo:  But you know, I’ve been having so much fun lately! Every day, there’s others around me. There’s people who go out of their way to remember I exist for me. And that’s why…
Puppy:  Woof!
Ecolo:  There’s so many fun things I wanna teach you, Ecomaru!
Puppy:  Woof, woof!
Ecolo:  Because you’re special, okay?
Puppy:  Woof! Woooo~
Ecolo: Ahahahaha!
Puppy:  Woof-woof, woof!
Ecolo:  Huh?
Puppy:  Woof-woof-woof! *excited yipping*
Ecolo:  Huh, E-Ecomaru! What’s wrong!? You can’t just run out into the rain!
Ecolo: Wait… What is that!?
[Sci-Fi SFX, like an UFO is landing]
???: Would you happen to be called “Ecolo”?
Ecolo:  Who… are you? You look a lot like Ecomaru…
???:  We are from an extraterrestrial species that happens to resemble this planet's “dogs”. I am this child’s parent. We unfortunately got separated when they went astray during a sightseeing trip to earth. I have been looking for them ever since.
Puppy:  *excited yipping and whining*
Alien:  Ahaha… I see how it is. Did you miss home? My poor child.
Ecolo:  Huh? …Ecomaru?
Alien: Ecolo, I must thank you for taking such good care of my child. You have my gratitude.
Ecolo:  HOLD UP! So you’re just gonna… take them away!?
Alien:  Uhm… Yes?
Ecolo:  But, Ecomaru! I told you, didn’t I!? There’s still so many fun things I want to teach you…!
Puppy:  *sad whine*
Ecolo: *screaming*  Come here! Let’s go back together! I still want to play! I still want to play with you!!
Puppy:  *whining*
Ecolo:  *weakly* No… Please, no…
[Ecolo lowers his voice here.]
Ecolo:  Alright… If you don’t want to play with me, I’ll have to make you play with me…!
Alien: …Ecolo!?
[Puyo SFX]
Ecolo: *sounding pissed* Let’s go… good. Pretty nice…!
Puppy: *yipping*
Ecolo:  LOVELY TRICK!
[Ringo comes running]
Ringo:  ECOLO, NO! NO, NO, STOP IT!
Ringo: …INTEGRAL!
[Ringo fires her spell and blocks Ecolo’s. It sounds like she’s taking the blow for the aliens too.]
Ecolo:  What… Ringo?
Ringo:  Ouch, ouch, that hurt…
Ecolo:  Ringo! Don’t get in my way!
Ringo:  Ecolo…
Ecolo:  RINGO!
Ringo: I’m so sorry. We were the ones who told Ecomaru’s parents that you were out here.
Ecolo:  What…?
Ringo: …Ecolo… Look…
Ecolo:  Oh. I… get it…
Ringo:  I’m so sorry…
Ecolo:  They… have a home… a place they belong…
Ringo:  *crying* I’m sorry! I’m so, so sorry…!
Ecolo: …It’s okay. I’m used to this anyway. Bye bye, Ecomaru. It’s fine. Just go and forget about me.
Ringo:  *trembling voice* Ecolo…
Puppy: *whining* …Yip! Yip, yip, YIP!
Ecolo:  What is it?
Puppy:  Yip! E…Eco… Ecolo…!
Ecolo:  Huh…?
Alien:  Oh my… Ecolo. This was the first time my child has spoken a word. Their first word was your name!
Puppy:  Ecolo! Ecolo!
Ecolo:  Ecomaru…
Alien:  I am sure they are trying to tell you that they will never forget you…
Puppy:  Ecolo! Five-chaaaain!
Ecolo: …Ahaha. Ahaha, hahahaha! Yeah… Thank you, Ecomaru!
[UFO leaves SFX]
[Footsteps]
Maguro: Ringo! I-Is everything alright!?
Risukuma: What happened to Ecomaru?
Ringo: Oh… Maguro. Ris. Ecomaru already left, I’m afraid.
Risukuma:  I see…
Maguro: S-So… How’s Ecolo taking it…?
Ringo:  I… think he’ll be okay. Yeah. He’ll be just fine…
-
[Another day]
Ecolo: Heyo, Ringo! I’m swinging by for a visit~!
[EXPLOSION]
Ringo: GYAAH! ..Urgh! Ecolo! Could you NOT just come barging into the clubroom while I’m in the middle of an experiment!?
Maguro: Yeah, somebody could lose an eye!★
Ecolo: What are you guys up to today?
Ringo: Oh, I’m using the legendary art of alchemy to try and make a philosopher’s stone!
Ecolo: Wow! A classic!
Ringo: Hey, Maguro! Could you mix the yuzu-jam and salted sesame seeds over there into that glass of soy-sauce pickled nori, please?
Maguro: Pretty plebeian ingredient-selection, but okay★
[Door opens]
Risukuma:  Why, hello everyone. It is nice to see we are all in one place today.
Ringo: Oh, hey, Ris!
Maguro: What’s that you got in your hand there? Wait! Isn’t that the same thing as back when…
Risukuma: This arrow-mail arrived at my place yesterday in the dead of night.
Ecolo: What’s up with this thing?
Risukuma: It is a message from Ecomaru’s parents. They wanted to inform us of how Ecomaru has been doing as of late.
Ecolo:  Huh!?
Ringo:  C-c’mon, Ris, read it out loud! Quick, quick!
Risukuma:  Very well. Ahem… Let me begin.
Ecolo: I wonder if Ecomaru is doing well~?
Risukuma:  Woof, woof, woof. Yip, yippity, yip. Snif, snif, bark.
Maguro:  Hey, um… Ris?★
Ringo&Ecolo: We won’t get a thing if you read it in their language!!

Note
with all the Discourse TM around plagiarism and creative theft lately, something that struck me watching the trailer is how it shouts out first Viv as the creator and then the Broadway stars. It's fine to shout out the creator and the voice talent, it's a common marketing thing, but it strikes me how the people doing the work to bring HH to life - the animators as well as people working on music, foley & SFX - will not be given their flowers for working in (allegedly) a crunch environment on a show that's shaping up like it might be a total car crash
I hope that the remaining Spindle employees, specifically the ones that just want to build a career, are able to just add this to their resume and move on to bigger and better things like Michael & Ashley did
Same. I hope they're able to get something nice for their resumes, then get the hell out of Dodge.

Picking Takes vs. Dialogue Editing vs. Sound Design — a Beginner’s Guide
How do you tell these three apart for audio drama? Here’s how I do it, in case that’s helpful.
Picking Takes: Taking the raw recording from the actors and deciding what take to go with when multiple were recorded. This is often the director’s job, but it sometimes goes to the dialogue editor or showrunner (if those people are distinct from the director). Sometimes this involves opening a DAW and deleting the takes you don’t want, other times it involves listening through and providing your dialogue editor with written instructions of what take to cut in.
Dialogue Editing: Taking the selected takes and ordering it according to the script. The biggest thing a dialogue editor does is decide timing, which is especially relevant for asynchronously recordings. However, timing takes properly is an art no matter the format of the recording session. I’ve noticed that the dialogue edits I do on live-but-remotely-recorded sessions involved tightening the dialogue by removing lag from the call.
Sound Design: Taking the dialogue edit and building the audio world around it. There is action sound design (adding SFX for what the characters are doing) and environmental sound design (adding SFX to represent the environment). Often, the sound designer is in charge of mastering the audio, which includes cleaning and leveling it.
Example under the cut!
[SFX] On a ship at sea: a tempestuous noise. Enter ALONSO, SEBASTIAN, ANTONIO, FERDINAND, and GONZALO.
ALONSO: Good boatswain, have care. Where’s the master? Play the men.
BOATSWAIN: I pray now, keep below.
ANTONIO: Where is the master, boatswain?
BOATSWAIN: Do you not hear him? You mar our labour: keep your cabins: you do assist the storm.
We’ve got 3 actors, who I will call by their character names: Alonso, Boatswain, and Antonio. Let’s say these actors recorded 3 takes of each line. I’ve labeled each take A, B and C.
Alonso: 1A, 1B, 1C
Boatswain: 2A, 2B, 2C, 4A, 4B, 4C
Antoni: 3A, 3B, 3C
The person picking takes will listen though and decide which one to go with. Let’s say our director has chosen 1C, 2A, 4A, and 3B. This choice is less arbitrary than I have made it seem here, but this is not an article about directing, so we’re moving on. Now we have our takes!
The dialogue editor will take these four lines and order/time them appropriately. I can’t show you timing easily in this article, but for order: 1C, 2A, 3B, 4A. We now have the full exchange in audio.
The sound designer will take the clip of this exchange and add sound effects. For our action SFX, we’ve got characters walking in at the beginning. The sound designer would probably add 5 pairs of footsteps on wood to reflect this. For our environment SFX, we’ve got the sound of a ship in a storm. The sound designer would probably add the sounds of waves crashing, a ship rocking, thunder, lightning, rain, etc. They may also apply filers to the audio of these actors to better reflect their environment, or just make the audio sound better in general by removing background noise, clipping, popping, etc.
Occasionally, the sound designer will pass their audio off to someone else to master it. This person makes everything sound its best, and produces the final product.
These jobs are frequently bundled into one category of “audio editing” or “audio production,” but if you’re bringing people on board for your show it’s important to make sure the two of you have the same expectations for what their job is. Are they picking takes? Editing dialogue? Doing sound design? Mastering the audio? It can all blur together, so discussing specific definitions can be helpful.

Crashing through wall gmod collision sfx
Trick or treat :3
*The comically anatomically incorrect allosaurus skeleton stationed outside of my askbox starts moving and roars, jump scaring you.*
Max and Ms. Moynihan expressly forbid the others from playing pranks on Veloci because it’s childish and they’re better than that.
The others agree, but each of them sneak out to play environmentally friendly tricks on the RaptorDyne building in Kittery Point.
Fiona sneaks away claiming that she’s gonna pick up more drinks for their party, but while she’s out she stops by RaptorDyne and seed-bombs the barren front lawn with local wildflowers that will reduce CO2 pollution nearby.
Rodger has spent the last several months developing a robotic arm to perfectly throw toilet paper rolls so they unroll at exactly the right speed for maximum coverage. He decides to “test it” at RaptorDyne while he’s taking his little brother (who is dressed as Darth Vader) out trick-or-treating.
Caruso volunteers to catch Rump when he “accidentally” gets out and takes the opportunity to toss some plant based stink bombs he created while he’s at it.
Buzz decides to give the place a good old fashioned egging on his way to the lighthouse.
Coincidentally, the stink bombs, TP, and rotten eggs do a great job fertilizing the seeds Fiona spread around, and two weeks later RaptorDyne is overrun with wildflowers.
Moynihan and Max have their suspicions, but the rest of them steadfastly deny any involvement.

Bestie. Fellow podcast fan. I saw in your recent post that podcast hiatus's are driving you insane, have you listened to wooden overcoats before? because if you haven't I just listened to it because tmagp break is driving me crazy and its very good 100% would recommend.
Omg yes I have!!
Antigone Funn my belovedddddd 😭😭😭
I was so excited to see Beth Eyre credited as [REDACTED] in episode 10 of tmagp, coming out of that locked door in the ruins of the institute
I (and the world) need more Beth Eyre creechurs lurking in the shadows and scaring poor unsuspecting bystanders
Thank you for the suggestion! There are a few shows I'm binging right now, you're also welcome to join me if you wish!
Liberty podcast, scifi from the makers of the white vault, I think it's one of their first creations and it's been on my list for a while. I'm on episode 6 and so far the world building is intriguing and I'm already getting attached to the team on the research expedition going out from their safe high tech city to the dangerous post apocalyptic parts of their world
The orphans, another scifi horror of survivors of a crashed ship who lost their memory and are being chased around on a strange planet by multiple threats. I'm on episode 3 and each and every person in this is the poorest little meow meow you've ever met, including the deteriorating AI who can only ever be rude to everyone around it. Actually establishes some good tension in the action scenes, something that is hard to do in podcasts and I rarely find any who succeed in doing it without compromising clear sound queues and well balanced sfx.
The liminal lands is the last podcast I'm binging. I randomly chanced upon the name and decided to pick it up. It's about a man who one day went hunting, tripped and fell and no-clipped into an alternate reality where no one else exists and time and electricity are on the fritz. I'm on episode 3, it's a beginner's passion project so the acting and sound is challenging to anyone used to high quality but the story is fascinating and keeps me hooked and the crisp southern accents definitely help. It's like a podcast version of the backrooms and it definitely manages to convey the same kind of eeriness.
Oops I went off lol, hope this is somehow helpful even if you didn't ask for it 😅
And yes I fully agree about wooden overcoats everyone should listen to it asap it's so good!!

S & D Tier Comic Adaptation - Issue 1 (draft one)
This is deeply unfinished by I believe in showing my work and this is my first time scripting a comic. It’s not professional formatting, but I’m doing my best and I’d like to share what I have so far. Constructive feedback is appreciated!!
(NOTE: I know that describing panel layout is a bit gauche, I have done it in a few places just for visualisation, as this is being read by anyone, not just a specific art team)
Page 1
Panels 1-4 - introductory splash art of four seperate FAIRNESS ASSOCIATION HEROS. (first draft first draft I don’t have all the details yet).
Panel 5 (central inset) - a group of FAIRNESS ASSOCIATION HEROS, led by THE CHADSTER are flying towards the outer atmosphere in the invisible jet.
Chad: my friends, this time I am certain we shall defeat this dastardly villain
FAH #2: [something vaguely reasonable, Alex is Big Scary blah blah blah]
Page 2 and 3 - a double page spread of SPACE!!! it is BIG AND EMPTY!!! To the lower left of page 2 we see the invisible jet. It is very small compared to the vastness of SPACE!!!
Page 4 and 5 - another double page spread. Wow!! I’m so creative. This also shows the vastness of SPACE!!! Except that now ALEX is in the centre. They look unbearably hot (details unimportant). To the lower left of page 4 the invisible jet has been disrupted as though by a sonic blast. To clarify ALEX is big enough that they could probably pick the jet up in one hand if they wanted to.
Page 6 (three single image strips with the vastness of SPACE in the background)
Panel 1 - FAHs 1 and 4 (I really need to give them names) blast out of the front windshield of the invisible jet
SFX: CRASH
Panel 2: ALEX grabs FAH 3 from the wreck, who is actively firing back at them with their laser vision (to no effect)
Panel 3: CHAD and FAH 2 watch on from the wreckage of the invisible jet, leaping into action (note: I cannot for the life of me remember what chads powers are rn. That is perhaps why he’s not doing much yet).
Page 7
No idea of the formatting, I got bored of vague art direction with no dialogue. It’s going to be a maybe 7 panel layout depicting a the heroes and Alex fighting their way back towards earth. Maybe a second group of heros in the distance. IDK how powerful I should establish Alex to be this early ?? (I’m not changing anything, but pretend this is going to be read by a fresh audience. Information is shared in bits and pieces.) (chants under breath: first draft first draft)
Page 8
Panel 1 - a column up the left side of the page showing a perfectly normal, if slightly industrial apartment building in a nice city
Panel 2 - wide shot! A nice, comfy apartment. One wall has a BDG-style conspiracy theory board, maybe with an old treasure map pinned to it, but otherwise the room in very normal
Panel 3 - mid shot, in an armchair MORGAN is reading a book. They are average looking (details unimportant), and wearing a soft jumper.
Panel 4 - MORGAN takes a sip of tea, and continues to read their book. Perhaps there is a fucked up statue in the background.
SFX: siiiiip
Panel 5 - wide shot of the apartment, from one side ALEX comes through the door loudly, while on the other MORGAN is in their armchair. (Or couch?? Maybe it should be a couch. Or a beanbag chair.)
Page 9
Panel 1 - close up of ALEX walking towards MORGAN
Alex: the heroes foiled my plans and blew up my castle
Panel 2 - MORGAN in their armchair, looking surprised as ALEX continues
Alex: then they chased me into the outer atmosphere! And they know I killed Rebecca the Rebreathable last month
Panel 3 - ALEX sits
Morgan: that’s weird
Alex: no, that’s pretty much the norm
Panel 4 - Morgan and Alex face each other, either in chairs or on a couch
Morgan: really? Because that hasn’t been my experiance at all
Panel 5 (this takes up like, the bottom half of the page). MORGAN talking happily while ALEX looks on in bemused confusion
Morgan: like, when they rescued that person I kidnapped last week they also fixed my toaster and found my car keys and all the pieces to the jigsaw puzzle I dropped last week, and they fixed the electrical issues with the cable car, and the cleaned up my junk draw, and set the timer on my microwave…….
Image fades into the bottom of the page with no hard cutoff, as MORGAN presumably continues on with the list of things the “point-and-click” heroes did.
———
Thanks for reading!! In case you didn’t know, most of the dialogue on page 9 is taken from the original video that started S&D Tier. I’m not sure how many changes will happen between this VERY PRELIMINARY FIRST DRAFT and the actual final comic, but I’m excited! (Yes this is just 9 pages. The next one will be longer. It’s a start.)

Thinking of how goob (my kirby self insert) would fit into the franchise mechanics and lore-wise is so fun to me I love world building. Mechanic’s wise I’d like be playable in the way the yoshis and nabbit are in mario wonder. I don’t have any fancy powers however I cannot die. And lore wise it makes sense too I haven’t explained it but goob is essentially some being created from stars that crashed into dreamland and is just kind of like that. I get whacked with a hammer and it’s just squeaky toy sfx. Goob is not aware of the concept of physical pain they are just the worlds most malleable star creature

I know you're into fnaf and bendy, but I was curious, do you have any other horror games you enjoy/would recommend? Also hope you have a good time of day <3
Thank you, anon! FNaF and Bendy are two of my special interests, and re-hyperfixating on them happens sometimes lol. I was into other horror games before, but I don't know them as well as those two. But, I can try to recommend some good ones from memory, just know it's been around ~6 years since I've played or watched a Lets Play of any of these.
(And I think it's worth mentioning that I don't play horror games blind, I usually watch a lets play first before I decide to get them. I like horror but I also cannot stand the anxiety it gives me.)
Dark Deception - Takes place in Hell. You're playing a guy who actually deserves to be there, but is given a second chance at redemption if he collects a bunch of crystals for this woman named Helen. Really good character design, good tension. Story is still on-going.
Little Nightmares - Takes place in a strange world where you play as a child named Six, who is absolutely tiny compared to the world around her. It's a side-scroller, which is a fun take on horror, and it utilizes it's far-away camera to its advantage to build tension, and almost feels like you're watching a movie sometimes. You're on a ship called the Maw, which is basically a pleasure cruise for people to eat their hearts out, people who don't look like, well, people. Their bodies have been exaggerated to weird proportions, and their faces are... eugh. Great character design, level design, sfx, music, and holy shit that ending.
Little Nightmares 2 - I believe the theory is that this is a prequel to the first game. I remember less about this game so bear with me here lol. You play as a little boy who finds Six and adventure with her through another dangerous area, this time, a city. He can use TV screens to get around. I think the character designs are better in the second one, but I can't remember enough of the game to say which one was better overall. And holy shit that ending.
Among the Sleep - Gotta be honest, I barely remember this one, but I remember it freaked me OUT back when I first watched a lets play of it. You play as a kid who has a teddy bear, and the bear gets stolen from you at night, so you hop into a nightmare realm to go get it, basically. A lot of it was a metaphor for family issues (and maybe abuse?) from the eyes of a very young child. His mother is clearly upset by something, and it's heavily implied to be an ex or something. But the majority of the game is spent in Wonderland but horror. I should really rewatch this one.
Tattletail - sorry it's more mascot horror, it's what I grew up on. This one takes place at Christmas, where you play as a kid and get a Furby- sorry, Tattletail- as a christmas gift. Then, another one named Mama tries to hunt you down throughout the night. The moral: don't open your Christmas presents early.
Superliminal - Confession: I have not seen this one all the way through. The game fucks with perspective- if you pick up a thumbtack sitting on a desk and then hold it up to the door before dropping it, it becomes as big as it looked while you were holding it. Extremely trippy. The more horror elements start to appear about halfway through.
Subnautica - c'mon you'd be lying if you don't think this is a horror game. it counts. Subnautica is another one of my special interests. Takes place far in the future, your spaceship crashes down on an alien water planet and you're one of only a handful of survivors. The character designs are EXCELLENT, the worldbuilding is captivating, the sound design? MMMM THE SOUND DESIGN. The music goes HARD. And when it gets dark? It gets dark. Trigger warning for big ocean, terrifying creatures, and dealing with a plague during the story.
Doki Doki Literature Club - omg i almost forgot ddlc. DDLC absolutely shaped part of my childhood growing up, as it deals with things like depression, suicide, domestic abuse, and self-harm. You play as an anime self-insert protagonist and start the game off like it's a dating sim- get to know the girls and figure out which ones you wanna get closer to, you know how dating sims work. But there's a moment that happens later in the game that completely rocks the boat, the game resets, and a character completely disappears from the game completely and is never mentioned again. I cannot spoil this one, it's see-to-believe, but also BE CAREFUL with this one. The subject matter it tackles is not for the faint of heart.
Phasmaphobia - Multiplayer ghost hunting game where you can hear your friends getting killed in the distance and there is nothing you can do to save them. Terrifying, but can also be funny under the right circumstances. Specifically Jacksepticeye's first Phasmaphobia video, there's a moment right at the end that makes me burst out laughing every time.
I know there's more but I can't think of any of them so I guess we'll end the list here.
I love horror for weird reasons. I love worldbuilding and fun characters, so if the concept is wild enough, then I might look into it. FNaF was the first horror game I ever watched someone play (unless you count those surprisingly effective Minecraft horror maps from back in the day). I only grew attached to a couple titles, and the rest I'll enjoy casually as a thrill ride if I want one. But as a lets play, because even that is sometimes too much for me.
Uh, I hope this list was a good one! I should really revisit some of these, lol. Among the Sleep specifically, I wanna rewatch that one now as an adult.

EXT. OCEAN
There is fog everywhere. The drone of the waves is a white noise machine left unattended. Occasionally, there is a crash in the distance, though it can't be sure if it's a wave or cries of anguish.
ENTER: MARTIN BLACKWOOD.
He is walking along the shoreline, nothing particularly amiss. His arms do not swing, nor does he walk with a destination in mind. He is looking out into the distance, not like he can actually see anything. His glasses are folded and hung from the front pocket of his jeans, and swing dangerously like they're about to fall into the sea, but they do not.
MARTIN — Not a lot to do here, I guess?
ALSO-MARTIN — No, not really.
ALSO-MARTIN doesn't walk so much as he appears in and out of the fog. He's there, and once MARTIN passes him by, he's gone until he's spoken to again.
MARTIN keeps walking. The crunch of the sand and water seep into his boots. To any other, it would be uncomfortable, but he either doesn't care or notice. An indeterminate amount of time passes before he himself is swallowed by the fog, chased by the waves.
SFX. WAVES fade out.
The fog remains, but all is dark and shadow.
SFX. FOOTSTEPS ON SAND AND WATER fade out.
SFX. FOOTSTEPS ON PAVEMENT fade in.
Slow, measured. Like a pulsing heart. There's only one set.
SFX. RAIN ON PAVEMENT, a drizzle, to a proper shower.
EXT. LONDON
MARTIN has not stopped walking. The streets are sparse, and we're not sure what time of day it is. His path is now less aimless, as he turns corners this way and that until he stands in front of the Institute, umbrella-less and looking at the gold plaque by the entrance. There it is, 'The Magnus Institute' plaque, covered in rain drops. There is a screw missing on the lower left corner. Other than that, it's gleaming.
Focusing on MARTIN, we finally see his face. His stare is unfocused and distant. Fog curls sweetly around his ankles, beckoning him over and over to be swallowed once again. He almost does, except —
CHILD — Mommy!
The CHILD sprints across the bridge a small distance away. Her MOTHER is waiting with an outstretched hand. CLOSE UP MARTIN'S HAND. It clenches in anticipation.
BACKGROUND MUSIC, "ANTICIPATE".
When the CHILD reaches her MOTHER, (MUSIC STOP; SFX MARTIN, SHARP BREATH), nothing happens. Everything continues. MARTIN does not relax until they are safely away, and even then, a frown remains on his mouth. He turns back to the Institute. The fog is gone, replaced by London's usual gray.
He's about to push open the door, when he hesitates. He looks up, left and right. Something is missing.
There's no where else safer than the Institute though, however ironic that is. He seems to recognize this, and enters the building, met with the rush of cool air conditioning.
ROSIE is at the front desk as usual. She smiles at him.
ROSIE — Morning, Martin!
MARTIN nods at her, and keeps walking. (SFX. MARTIN'S WALK, TILE, WOOD, CARPET as the environment changes.) As he clambers down the stairs, he notices the CCTVs, pointed at him. He frowns, but ignores them. He can deal with them later.
He stops at the wooden doors, with a little sign on the left reading simply, 'Archives'. He hesitates, and we're unsure why. Is it a hallucination? A product of the Lonely, maybe even the Distortion? He may not want to open the door because he does not want to get his hopes up.
But he grasps the handle after a few beats, and turns.
The Archives is clean, inviting almost. From the door, he can see Jon's office a light already flicked on. He takes a few steps back outside to look at the break room at the end of the hall. The morning darkness takes a muted quality as he approached. The sound of a coffee machine is heard now, gurgling and sputtering. The soft shuffle of feet, and a humming sound is audible right outside the door.
He opens it without preamble.
SASHA — God! Martin! You surprised me.
MARTIN — ... Sasha? Sasha James?
SASHA — Yes...? Something wrong?
MARTIN — (stuttering) No. (beat) No! Perfectly fine.
SASHA — Are you sure? No offense but you look like you haven't slept in a week.
MARTIN — (sarcastic) Haha, hilarious... (pause) Do you have the date?
SASHA — Oh, um. July 18, 2015. Why?
MARTIN — (immediate) You're joking.
SASHA is growing visibly concerned. MARTIN begins to pace, and run his hands through his hair. A faint tendril of fog starts to escape MARTIN's mouth.
MARTIN — (almost mumbling) It's not possible. It can't be! Can it even do that? Helen might, but it could just — it could just be fake! (looks up) I KNOW IT'S A JOKE HELEN, YOU CAN COME OUT NOW.
SASHA — Martin? Martin. I need you to sit down. Who is Helen?
MARTIN does not hear. It's also likely he just ignored her. He's still pacing frantically. SASHA watches him for a few seconds, but gets fed up waiting.
MARTIN — ANNABELLE, I KNOW YOU CAN HEAR — ow!
SASHA grabs MARTIN's arm and bodily drags him onto a chair. There is a steaming mug of hot water on the counter, and a small box of tea bags behind it. SASHA plops a tea bag into the mug and pushes it into MARTIN's hands.
SASHA — Breathe, Martin.
MARTIN does. Both of them pause, looking at the mug. Now that we can see it, it reads, "Have A BeauTEAful Day", in clunky handwriting. SASHA looks like she's about to say something, concern knitting her brows.
The door opens. It's MARTIN — but there's already one, albeit with longer hair, darker bags underneath his eyes, and death-pale skin, sitting in a chair holding his punny mug — who freezes in the doorway once he's able to process what's in front of him.
SASHA immediately puts herself in front of MARTIN, the one at the door.
SASHA — Okay. What are you.
MARTIN, the sicker one, is grimacing.
MARTIN — I'm Martin. Martin Blackwood.
MARTIN — (stutters) But I'm Martin!
MARTIN — And I refuse to be called Also-Martin. That prick is going to laugh at me when I get back there.
MARTIN — What are you talking about, this is ridiculous! You can't be me!
SASHA — Martin, we deal with the spooky stuff everyday. Is it really that weird?
MARTIN — Yes! No! I don't know! You're going along with this?
MARTIN — It's good to see you again Sasha.
MARTIN — And you know him?
SASHA — No!
MARTIN — It's a long story...
TIM — Good morning, rise and shi - hine?
The commotion has drawn TIM to the break room. He was going in just to see what the fuss was about, but he wasn't going to turn away an opportunity to shit talk the boss if that's what's up. Instead, he stops in his tracks once he realizes that there are two MARTINs.
TIM — ...Boss is gonna love this.
SASHA — Not the time!
TIM — I'm just saying, if he wasn't already, y'know, with just the one —
SASHA — Tim...
MARTIN — (amused) I am still here.
SASHA — And would you care to explain why?
MARTIN — Please.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2022 review
I recently remembered when I watched that movie and to be honest I couldn't even make it all the way to the end. I had 11 minutes left and I just couldn't handle it. I'm still gonna spoiler this just in case you want to actually watch it but I'd give it a like 3/10 if I'm being nice.
So first of all I have a hard time picking up on the tone of the movie. I know it's explicitly political, which on it's own isn't bad. Horror movies can be political and still work very well. For instance Day of the dead is a great zombie movie and it has political undertones. Get out is another great movie that it very political too. Now thinking back to it I understand they're showing the nuances of the gun debate and all of that which I think was like decent. But you have that one guy saying "try anything and you're cancelled"? I mean you can call out how people think cancel culture is an actual thing when it literally isn't but like just make it better and not super cringey.
Also them kinda implying there is nuance to the whole "Confedrate southern pride" debate with the flag hanging up there. Southern pride should be about like all the great food, the community that the south holds, activists from the south and amazing people who have done amazing things that are from the south. Not trying to defend slavery and the continuing oppression of black people in America. I think still debating about that kind of stuff is stupid when the effects of slavery are still very well felt today, which includes the slave labor of the people in the prison industrial complex. I don't want to get political on here but this movie is political and stupid so I am.
If you wanted to talk about issues that effect black people in America you could have talked about how sun down town all over the south are still very real things. Or maybe something about how liberals can and usually are just as racist as conservitives. Bring up something more realevent or like something you could educate people on.
I also understand they're trying to talk about gentrification and how it affects people. But a majority of the time it's wealthy white people displacing POC and poor people in urban areas, not annoying milennials displacing a elderly woman. I think if they wanted to talk about that they could have done it in a way better way.
Also I have a huge bone to pick with how they potrayed Bubba. Of course he's going to be killing people, that's a given. But he kills people because that's what he was raised to do and he also kills people who threaten him or his family. So killing those people in the car crash is well in character for him. But he's not going to go into a big crowd of random people. He just wants to be left the fuck alone. Also why would he take the face from the woman who took care of him for decades? I don't get that.
Another thing is I'd assume in the original Bubba is over the age of 18 because unless you're like some super human no minor is gonna be 6'6 and have the build of a chubby linebacker. So why have him stay at that house? I don't get it.
Also you build up to bringing back Sally and you just kill her within the first few minutes of their fight? I mean if you're going to kill her at least let them have a proper fight. I would have given this a better grade if they didn't kill Sally or at least gave her a better fight and a worthy kill for horrors first final girl.
But the reason I give it a three out of ten is the acting is pretty good. The actors did their best and I think they'd do great in better movies. Also the gore is great. Very gorey I do have to say but the effects aren't horrible and I hope that the sfx makeup artists work on better movies because their work looked great.

We’re talking ‘bout Quirk, Strangeness & Charm …
OK, it’s not Hawkwind, but when an album is said to have “two recurring themes: the unity of matter and the breaking down of barriers” a quantum physics gag is surely excusable?
Ruth Theodore isn’t shy of crashing through genre boundaries as proved on her last album Cactacus, and her upcoming release I Am I Am is no more hidebound by the restrictions of stylistic pigeonholes.
It’s not a surprise then that on opener Barbed Wire Fence Ruth’s playful quirky vocal (think a Brighton Big Yellow Taxi) rails wryly at boundaries and borders of all kinds, propelled by a loose-limbed acoustic guitar, upright bass and cocktail drum Greenham-campfire-by-way-of-Montego-Bay bounce. Bright and breezy like a day by the river, punctuated by tricksy touches in the timings bringing you up short like the eponymous barrier.
The upbeat mood continues in Full Metal Jacket, a glam-tinged deconstructed piano boogie driven by a striding left hand bassline and witty right hand ornamentation, topped with Andrews Sistersesque tight three-part harmony vocals adding vivacious venom to this relationship revenge tale with a twist; and People People, a stone-cold cert for a crowd pleasing set-closer or a single, with folky strumming, rattling rapid-fire Greenwich Village coffee shop lyrics, swooping vocal acrobatics, and a solidarity-soaked singalong chorus.
There’s more opportunity for crowd participation in Captured, albeit at a more measured pace: a slow tribal drumbeat (as of a ritual procession) is punctuated by heartbeat swells of strings and piano in a homily to the Insta generation on living in the moment and keeping it real, Ruth’s lithe vox descending from falsetto passion to breathy near-spoken and back again, with an airy, easy-going whole-band choir mantra chorus.
Subtler colours come in a trio of more introspective songs: Brighton Stones’ wave SFX, twinkling piano arpeggios, folky acoustic, and ethereal harmony humming make for an ostensibly mellow hypnotic beachside hymn, although the ticking-clock percussion and aching vox hint at a darker theme; opening almost as a chamber piano trio, Watercolour opens out with the aid of minimal drums and rich double bass into a Hammill-meets-Piaf anguished keening soul-baring drama; and the melodrama reaches cinematic peaks in the finale of Here Comes Your Song, an epic sprawling tale of defiant positivity in the face of hardship (and the power of music) that restlessly shifts mood and timings before closing in the aforementioned, almost Springsteen-like, climax.
Ruth waltzes off into the sunset with the closing pair of similarly-timed, if distinctive, tracks:  the deceptively simple off-kilter waltzing Thomson wraps you in snuggly marimba, bass and lyrical cello lines before repeated urgent waves of passion build and release until a belting crescendo, while Hold On Me is an out-and-out, 24-carat, 1970s radio 2 smoochy soul classic, well executed and without a hint of pastiche (but plenty of cracking piano, organ… and trombone!)
Rich production, stylish arrangements and a jeweller’s eye for intricate details (like spangles of Fender Rhodes and dashes of trumpet here, shimmering pedal steel-like strings there, a surprise (and surprisingly effective) underlying combination of synths, modern beats and strings, or washes of wistful village brass band-style horns) add depth, interest and sometimes plain otherness to the songs, making a complete cosmos of each… with Ruth’s mercurial vocal being the fundamental particle binding them all together with quirk, a bit of strangeness and bags of charm.
I Am I Am is released on Righteous Babe Records on May 3rd. Available to pre-order from Ruth's Bandcamp here: https://ruththeodore.bandcamp.com/album/i-am-i-am-4

So there was two parts to this one
watchign it from the pov of or I guess one could say that iw as just simply that woman,., an so like Theres this like show opening with this woman dancing in this like park area, and then breakdancing next to this bus loading up fulla ppl. She'd/I'd be doing all sorts of acrobatics and flips and swinging around on nearby lamp posts and slingshotting between them because Id be building up so much momentum from swinging around an all that. Eventually we'd all board the bus, start driving out and then she'd drive the bus after a point in the song for the opening and it would always like. Cut to this pov like the skyrim death cam following along as the bus would tumble and roll and slide its way down a mountain. Or like glaciers.whenever this started happening, it was framed likea comedy show with lots of sfx and like crowd cheering or booing sfx. Specifically the onesi  remember was like this audience of children cheering n clapping sfx accompanied by like a "correct" sfx when the bus stopped moving and landed upright like as if nothing happened, signifiying that every9one on board as well as the bus itself was just fine, and then gasping or booing sfx + an "incorrect buzzer" sfx, whenever the bus took some nasty hits or flipped in aparticularly violent way tha would have normally, definitely killed at least SOMEONE on board. But it never did. And it kept happening. oh yeah i was wearing like a plain pink turtleneck sweater with ab lack skirt and black leggings and some like some dark coloured boots of some kind… had a headband too. And likje two really big flower barrettes on each side of the headband… was wearing brown gloves. Not sure what kind. I can say for certain they werent fingerless. Maybe they were driving gloves. From the beginnin of the shows opening, From the dancing, then the breakdancing and other acrobatic shit in front of the bus, and then to the driving of the bus until it cut to the bus being on topa cliff face or a slope that lead to the quickest path down the mountain/glacier, it was all just. Was done in slight variations each time. then the music stops and the sfx starts as it starts, crashing, flipping, rolling, tumbling and sliding violently or slowly on its way down. And every time it would land upright atht he very bottom and the cheering and clapping sfx would play every time. Eveyoen would walk out and it'd start again. And again and again. Getting quicker and quicker in the process. However This whole processs was changing everyone on board.
It was making all of us evolve into creatures that would make this whole process go by faster? or smth lol, And so for the next like millennia or hwoever long, we kept repeating this process until we all turned into like actual whales. Like as if whales were the most efficient animal to be for this process to continue as efficiently and quickly as possible. The bus was gone by that point and it would quickly loop a few times as whales until I remember hitting this large lunar crescent shaped recess in the mountain that formed from the bus crashing and falling into this particular area so many times over such a long time period. And a large body of water had formed, connecting to the ocean or soim ereally big sea. The water was dark. like had a sludge like colour. not so sure abou thte actual consistency of the water itself tho. And it was full of tiny and neatly cubed ice less than a centimeter in size, and some other mysterious clear solid substance… the first dream ended when I landed in the pool and was like kinda sick of this cycle, and during thist ime I apparently still had a human shaped arm and hand. Which I then stuck deep into the centre of this deep dark lunar crescent shaped body of water forming at the base of the mountain and as I did, I  screamed. I felt hundreds of thousands or perhaps millions of years go by in an instant of me and the other, now at this point, whales, going thru this cycle of tumbling and rolling down this mountain/glacier go by. And as I felt it happening the body of water was like reacting almost like I could feel a consistent, thin layer of almost powdery solid particles suspended a set distance abovce the waters surface and where I drove my hand into the water, a whirlpool of sorts was forming around my hand. But instead of spiraling or anything or forming currents, it was like being absorbed by the passage of time. Or by my hand. Or both. It was like the whirlpool was forming at the bottom of my hand and the water was vibrating so quickly and strongly that it wasli ke evaporating or smth. I couldf eel like a vacuum where my hand was. But it wasn’t suckign anything up. The water was just kinda like dissapearing into where my hand was. And Holy shitt hat scream I made. it was a haunting way to wake up. Felt this weird sensation in my right arm for a while after waking up too…

UH . UHM. 3. 18. 21 . Idk how many stories you've got going on but with however many you have pleas .or not that's fine too like just one would also work
YESSSSSS MORE i'll do HWS/through the red door AND radio ghost for these
3. any recurring images/elements?
Through the Red Door: the color red obviously, doorways, car crashes, the serpent devouring its own tail, severed limbs, reel-to-reel tapes, concrete cured and uncured
Radio Ghost: empty fields, radio towers, flocks of birds, burning corpses, necromancy, a huge guy with a big axe chasing you
21. you have been given unlimited funds to make your story idea a reality. what are you sparing no expenses for?
the answer for both of them is cool practical effects, were they to be made into movies. hws would be more extravagant cos i'd really enjoy a huge animatronic red thing and i'd also like to spend a lot making the scary inside of the office building really cool. radio ghost would be less involved but it would still get fun sfx gore and prosthetics. ALSO for both i'd like to license a lot of cool music and make the soundtracks as banger as possible cos it's important to both stories
answered 18 here!
