Bullet Journal - Collections 2023 Setup!
Every year I'm like "allocate some time to do the bujo thing because it takes a while" and every year it takes longer than I anticipate.
Still hacking away at it but we've got some Monthly spreads drawn up! It's a good start, right?
Now we ran into issues last year.
I'd forgotten to move to the next page in the calendar app on my computer that I was using to get dates from. So December ended up being a repeat of November. It took me like 8? 9 months? To finally get around to finding some stickers and ordering them to fix the spread.
(I mean in the end it looked pretty cute anyway. The circles worked, even if I miscalculated and got two-tone that meant I didn't have *quite* enough of the blue. But it balanced out, because work was finishing on the 23rd! Small mercies)
ANYWAY so. That was a pretty big stuff up that took months to resolve (it was like literally a ~40 minute job really when you count finding stickers, pealing them off, and writing in the new dates. But sure Etlu, take 8 months, it's not that important right?). We should be right to do this properly without fault for 2023.
No.
This time it's personal.
Not only did I have to seriously say to myself "are there 30 days in October or 31?" when halloween exists as a thing, it's also my birthday month. Like come on!
Pro: This year I know where to get stickers from. They've been ordered. Should arrive sometime in January.
Con: Looks like either my favourite supplier is changing up her stock or stopping her functional stickers? D: I hope it's just a changing of styles or something because they've been such a good find!
THINGS TO GO:
• Public Holidays
• Rubbish week cycle
And then we get onto the Collection spreads.

Two Spreads I always use in my Bullet Journal. „Things to check out“ such as books, movies, games, music and a „Places I traveled to“ Page.
Although the places I went were pretty limited the last two years… 😅 Hope this will change in 2022🤞🏻

I only had pages left in my current bujo (left) for half of June, but I'm also due with my baby in June, so I figured I'd use that as the benchmark to start in a new notebook (right)!
If you've had a baby while bullet journaling, what worked and didn't work for you?

☁️ I may have, sort of, kindaaa... accidentally overbooked myself for the shortest month of the year lol ☁️
My planner is getting a hell of a workout though 💪 and I think this new project calendar I added and am trying out [insert 103 from PPCo] seems quite promising so far 🤔 At the very least it's helped take a load off of my mind by getting everything in my head out and onto a visual monthly spread~
I have a step-by-step breakdown of what each project needs as well as a habit tracker to see which projects I tackle on what days and how often. And most helpful of all is that on one monthly foldout list I have external deadlines that I need to meet and on the other is smaller milestones/deadlines I would like to meet in order to help me stay on track for those external deadlines...
I'm hoping this new addition to my planner is exactly what I need in order to get me through this month in one piece lol ✨
