Rant about how ppl argue about tfo bees depiction

People are all "we need to talk about bumblebees trauma and coping methods" until the coping method that comes from the trauma is acting younger than he actually is.

I'm so fucking tired of people bitching and moaning about someone drawing tfo bumblebee and optimus as father and son, or bee being younger than op. Especially when the voice actors have said they believe they have a father son relationship and it's literally shown in the movie at points (see knife hands scene) and the vas also said that they see bee as late teens to early 20s.

I'm tired of people acting like age regression isn't a viable coping method. Especially when bee was stuck down there for so long with: no friends, no family, nothing. That kind of isolation from early years of life can definitely influence them to regress as a coping method. And the regression doesn't even mean "Oh so you think he acts like a baby" regression can be anything from a small amount of years regressed to a ton of years regressed. Baby and toddler regressors are just the most common. You can be 18 and regress to 16 or 14 and it's still regression, it's still coping, even if only a couple years. And it's not that someone always regresses to the same age, one time they could regress to 5 years old and the next they could be regressed to 14 years old.

You don't have to think this is what happens with him. But you DO have to respect how people represent that trauma and how he copes. You DO have to respect people with different opinions to you. If you don't like people depicting bee as young or ops adopted son then BLOCK THEM. It is not their fault that you dislike it!

Hairy bodies help trap pollen.

They have compound eyes and strong mandibles or proboscises for feeding.

Bees can see ultraviolet light, which helps them find nectar-rich flowers.

Honeybees perform a "waggle dance" to tell hive mates where to find food.

TFP: Human to Sparkling PT 2 Raf

Raf is the smartest of the trio but he is also the youngest so when he gets turned into a sparkling the poor kid suffers the brunt of being regressed into the body of a robot baby. Design: Even as a cybertrionian Raf is tiny, and looks wise he is the spitting image of Ratchet except if you made him scrawny. Also replacing his red and white with orange and white. He even has the little horns to match. The only main difference is a light green visor and a small pair of wing nubs. - Out of the three, Raf hates this new body the most. He can't talk, walk, or even think properly. Every time Raf thinks he has a hold over his own mind, something doesn't work in his favor, and he bawls his optics out. - Ratchet has completely taken over Raf's care. Not even Optimus can get too close to Raf without Ratchet growling at the prime. He has become borderline possessive of the tiny sparkling. - Bumblebee has tried to get Ratchet to lighten up but he's met with harsh resistance. This leads to his and ratchets relationship to become strained. - Raf will spend most of his days just chilling in Ratchet's chassis the soft mesh keeping the sparkling warm and cozy. But after a long nap Raf will kick and scream to be let out much to the medics disdain. - When Raf is out of Ratchet's chassis he has to be in the room with with him at all times. The sparkling is to never be out of sight of Ratchet's watchful optics. - Raf's main annoyance with Ratchet is that if the medic thinks Raf is harmed or in danger, in any way Ratchet will stop whatever he's doing and promptly stuff the sparkling back in his chassis no matter how fussy Raf gets. - Everyone at this point has gotten the unspoken rule of "no one touches Raf but Ratchet unless you want a wrench thrown your way." - Miko and Jack find Ratchet's protectiveness exhausting but they don't envy Raf in the slightest. Both are glad that Bulk and Optimus aren't crazy protective of them... Well sorta. Other humans turned cybertronian: Jack / Miko / Sam

Soft, slender fingers combed through your hair while your eyes fluttered. You heard gentle humming slow down, and you forced your eyes to open in annoyance when the fingers in your hair paused.

Bellatrix.

“Hi, pet. You must have been tired.” She commented with a smile, pressing a quick kiss to your forehead. “We came back from graduation lunch and you knocked right out when I started to read, dearie.”

You rubbed your eyes, stretching your legs with a yawn and sitting up on the plush sofa. “Where’s Cissa?” You managed to grumble, your vision finally adjusting to the light.

The gentle hand on your head moved away as Bellatrix stood. With a laugh, she took your hand and helped you up. “She’s baking you a surprise, bunny. We’ve both been so proud of you today. And you deserve lots of treats for being such a smart little thing.”

Heat rose to your cheeks at the praise, and you stared downwards at your feet while you shuffled. “Thank you, bumble.” You replied, allowing her to give you a quick hug before pulling into your hand.

“You don’t have to thank me. You’re the one who worked so hard.” Bellatrix replied. She swung your hands together as you walked, her thumb rubbed over your own.

The scent of brownies started to waft in the air as you neared the kitchen, and your stomach gave a loud grumble in response.

“Sounds like I have a hungry little thing on my hands- the perfect time for a treat then, no?” Bellatrix teased, and before you could reply, you were greeted by the side of Narcissa placing down a pan.

“I see our bubby decided it was time to join us, hm?” Narcissa teased, raising a brow. “Mummy almost thought my tiny goose would sleep forever!” She exclaimed as she walked up to you, placing a hand on the small of your back and guiding you to the counter stool or the kitchen island.

Giggles escaped your lips as you sat, squirming a bit in your seat while Bellatrix sat right next to you. “Mummy baked it all yourself?” You asked excitedly.

Narcissa and Bellatrix had never been bakers, by any means. They had grown up used to elves doing it for them, finding it almost beneath them to do so. But when they met you, everything in their lives changed.

So when you squeaked and babbled about baking with your bumblebee and mummy, how could they say no? (Even if it did, admittedly, make quite the mess.)

“Brownies!” You squealed, clapping your hands when Narcissa grabbed some plates and batted Bellatrix’s hand away from the leftover bowl with lingering batter.

“Bella! Sometimes I think you’re the little one, hm?” She scolded, raising a brow while you giggled.

Bellatrix retracted her hand with a huff, slightly embarrassed to be scolded in front of you. “The batter is good! Don’t you agree, pet?” She asked, tilting her head to look at you; while you couldn’t stop yourself from laughing at the pair.

“Bumblebee’s right.” You reasoned with a chirp, watching Narcissa tut and shake her head while she put a brownie on three plates.

Quickly, you dipped your fingers to the sides of the bowl and scrapped the extra batter, licking it off while Narcissa rolled her eyes. “Dearie, the cooked brownie is right there.” She scolded.

Bellatrix laughed while you shrugged your shoulders, taking a bite. “So yummy!” You exclaimed after swallowing it, clapping your hands and letting Bellatrix pinch your cheek while she cooed at you.

“My pet likes it, I presume?” She replied fondly, taking off a piece of her own treat before turning to Narcissa. “Cissy, I didn’t know you got so good at baking.”

Narcissa sat down next to you, tilting her head to see her sister. “Well I am quite the talented baker. Isn’t that right, lovie?”

You flushed when Narcissa glanced over at you, fluffing up your hair. You ducked away from the hand in embarrassment, trying to hide your face.

“Oh don’t be shy, darling.” Narcissa cooed, peering at you and holding up your brownie. “Take a bite and look at mummy, you silly thing.”

You ducked your face while you took another bite, your face lighting up as you swallowed. “It’s really good! Love it.” You babbled happily, holding up the sweet treat while Narcissa laughed.

Bellatrix wiped a crumb off your mouth with the pad of her thumb, mumbling. “Such messy little thing.”

“Bumble!” You retorted, batting a hand away. “I’m not messy.” Your voice turned into a grumble; but Bellatrix’s laughter only grew.

“Honestly Bella, all you do is tease the little goose.” Narcissa added, booping your nose. “But maybe you should help mummy next time, hm?”

Bellatrix was quick to speak before you could, “Last time I swore our kitchen floor was more flour than it was tile.”

“Not fair!” You quickly argued, frowning. “Bumble is just as messy-”

“Come on you too, knock it off.” Narcissa finally cut in.

As the three of you relaxed in the warmly lit kitchen, you felt your stomach grow full and your head begin to fuzz.

Because everything with them was warm. Safe. Cosy. You hoped the feeling in your chest would never end, that you could always stay between them and feel that comforting weight.

And with them, it never would. They were your bumblebee and your mummy, and you knew that no matter what; after graduation, after a first job, after a long day, they were there.
