the user walked into my office lookin' for a post involvin' a writing prompt, resultin' in a user respondin' with a story about toddlers during the end of the world. now, i ain't seen this one before, but i was determined to track it down.

tragically, searchin' the author's username on tumblr came up blank, so i thought that was just a dead end. i decided to chase down the original writing prompt post by searchin' on their blog for "daycare worker" and managed to find it pretty quick. scrollin' through the reblogs, i quickly realized that the author in question had simply changed their username, so i quickly found the original post

A Rose For Your Heart- Pt.6

He couldn't comprehend that she didn't hate him as he stumbled around his baton to make it extend. He jumped onto the rooftop thankfully when it did, to see that she hadn't left.

She was there, standing 5 feet away from him, her hands still clasped behind her back, her eyes shining like sapphire's in the moonlight. He took a moment to appreciate the way the street lights illuminated her figure like a halo, her dark pigtails that rested on her shoulders, knowing this might be the last chance he got.

"Kitty?" She whispered, and he realised he'd drifted off as he was hurled back to Earth.

"Uh-" he mumbled, unable to figure out what to say, "sorry, I just-"

He was cut off, when she thrust something forward, the little secret she'd been hiding behind her back since he saw her, and he realised, with a start, that it was a rose.

A red rose.

He realised they were standing on the edge of the roof, clearly in sight of the Parisians gathered below. He realised they had all quieted down, waiting for him to stop staring with his mouth slightly open at the rose and actually do something.

And he realised, he realised so many things that he felt overwhelmed. He realised that maybe him being a senti didn't matter, as long as he had her. He realised maybe he could heal from all this trauma if he was with her. And he realised, he realised that she didn't hate him. She loved him, and the thought made his cheeks pink to match hers.

He looked up slowly, meeting her eyes that were bashfully looking at him, waiting for him to take it. He reached out, hesitantly, before gently taking hold of the stem with his fingers. Her hand brushed his as she let go, and her cheeks reddened.

He felt so overwhelmed that he did the only thing he could think of. He pulled her into a warm embrace that she gladly returned.

But it wasn't enough. He was aching to do something more, something he wasn't sure if he would be allowed to.

He pulled away gently, meeting her gaze. "M'lady...I-"

But she beat him to it, pulling him towards her and gently placing her lips on his, making fireworks go off in his brain. She ran her fingers through his hair as he pulled her towards her by the waist, enjoying her warmth.

And he realised that, as long as she was here, he wanted nothing to change.

The next mid drabble will be the drabble where Hyejun is born!!! oOF it's gonna be such a funny floofy drabble of the mid babies welcoming their baby hyejun into the world <333

Now this is where i get a little tied up. my next projects would be a yoongi knight!au along with jungkook's part of the high-class series, but i'm also heavily contemplating dabbling back into a taehyung christmas-themed pwp for the holidays! heheh i can't wait to write everythingfneonoa

Yes, hello! I am back, and I am also drafting chapters again!

Life ebbs and flows through varying levels of crazy for me. And motivation can be fleeting. But yeah! Life has calmed down for now, so here I am again lol!

I've been on Tumblr since like 2013/2014 so at this point I might go on random hiatuses but I don't think I'm ever really going to go anywhere.
