my personal sonadow headcanons in no particular order bc im procrastinating on writing a research paper right now and its either do this or throw myself off the roof:

Shadow is a few inches shorter than Sonic, but ONLY if he takes his shoes off. cue many years' worth of shenanigans with Shadow doing everything in his power to avoid going barefoot in Sonic's presence because he knows if Sonic finds out he'll never hear the end of it (hes right)

AAAAAAH I'm actually so flattered rn like, I don't think I have been asked this before??! I'm just going to take your ask literally, and attempt to explain how I render! Okay okay bear with me, I'm going to try my best to go over what happens behind the scenes🗣🗣Putting my teacher hat on, I hope this makes sense and is helpful!

Okay... we are gonna go ahead and spoil one of the art pieces I'm working on! The first part of it, at least!

First: My idea! This usually happens if I hear a really good song or have a scenario in my head that just needs to be drawn so I don't forget, and then I just throw up a sketch! Doesn't have to be perfect or pretty, just my ideas on where characters should be, or what pose, what facial expressions I'm going for, etc.!

(Facial expressions aside for this one because Sonic looks so goofy on the top left right there lololol)

Next would be finding out what color scheme I want to use for the drawing. So, I throw together some colors and decide if that's the feel I'm looking for! Color can convey alot about a certain mood/tone you're going for in an art piece, so I kinda go with what I think looks good and what will reach the vibe I felt when imagining it! I find myself using warmer colors more often because those colors give me that folk-like, forest fall tone I love! Once you have certain colors you like, just throw them together until it looks good to you and gets you closer to that vibe you want!

Like here, I'm going for a warm, yet tragic, "melancholy" feel? I heard the song "Little Pistol" by Mother Mother again recently, and the whole song felt tragic, yet powerful and meaningful (such a good song, check it out if you would like!). I wanted to convey sonadow like that too! A scenario where Sonic found Shadow instead of Eggman after he fell to earth, where Shadow is surrounded by old trees and long grass; the environment kind of grew around him and embraced him in a gentle kind of way. (I also just really like nature environments with big trees so I tend to project that in my art herherh☝️)

Usually, I do a sketch, then a cleaner lineart sketch above that layer, and then I color. But here, I switched it around and did color under the sketch layer before I cleaned it up. I wanted to make sure the colors were what I wanted them to be! It's really up to the beholder: what colors do you like? Where would they be good in your eyes? And the pen you use to color/draw definitely has a role to play in it too! I use very grainy brushes; brushes that are not too harsh on each other so they mesh nicely. Example! vv

I find it easier to draw when my pens are messier; I feel less restricted and can be more expressive! So, once you have pens you like and colors you enjoy adding, then it's time to start chipping away and molding the art to your vision! A lot of trial and error, that's for sure,,

When I render, it's done using either the brush I used for the grainy lineart, or it's another brush meant for color blending/texture. In this case, it was another brush that blends/creates color! For example, if I put red on orange, it makes brown (sometimes, lol) It doesn't make just one color when I use it, as I aim for all sorts of colors in my art! I go over the sketches and fix anything that looks weird and clean up using colors I already planned out on top of the sketch layer. Like here, I removed the guidelines for Shadow's big head and cleaned up his white fur! I also decided that the grass needed to be more defined, so I went to work there. I also added some blue to his muzzle to create a very faint greenish shading, deciding that it needed something more!

I also don't really have a structure for creating new layers. If I feel like starting a new layer to add more rendering, I do! Some drawings have 5 layers, some have 47!)

So really, it's all about what you like as an artist! More shading, go for it! Some blue here? Yes please! Not enough red here? Let's add some!

Here is the almost finished final product, I changed his ear tuft to make it look neater, added more blue to the orange grass to add depth, some small sketchy lineart for definition, and alot of other colors in different spots to give it that messy, painting-like vibe! I made Shadow's nose smaller, and colored over the Sonic scetch using both the lineart pen I use and color blending brushes!

And that's usually how I render! By going layer by layer on what I feel like I need to add to the drawing, and alot of it is trusting the process! Hopefully all that made some sense, and you can find really good Ibispaintx brush QR codes out there if you aren't vibing with the default pens! I also found drawing to be much more fun when I bought a stylus! Sometimes changing your method/approach makes it more fun and engaging, at least for me!

i feel like shadow had formed an attraction to sonic around the time of them turning super to defeat the biolizard, even though he didn't know it at the time. how sonic carried himself, his silent confidence and strength, and just the raw energy he had captivated shadow in ways he didn't understand.

but in terms of actually falling in love, i've always considered it to be in much less dangerous moments, more of the mundane, slow kind, like going for a walk together or sitting under a tree. i think shadow would realize, in those times, how much sonic actually means to him.

( personally, i think '06 would have one of those times where they just sit down and take everything in )

for sonic, it's a gradual thing. at first, he's simply interested in getting to know shadow and understanding him more, but respects that shadow might not want that ( he does ), so keeps his distance.

i get why people have it so sonic initiates their friendship, but i feel like shadow would, too. because he wants to know and understand sonic as well.

overtime, sonic learns about shadow's past, what he likes, what he doesn't like, and shadow gets to learn the same ( though, strangely, it's a little harder to get out of the blue hedgehog than he expected ), and they form a connection that maybe no one else but them can fully understand.

and it's only when that connection is formed that sonic develops feelings for shadow and falls in love, too.

i personally don't have the idea they're rivals post-SA2, since i think it defeats the whole point of shadow realizing what being the ultimate lifeform actually is and how he sees sonic, and the point of them setting aside their egos to protect the things that matter.

( that and, honestly, the fandom has kinda made them being rivals a sour note for me. for a lot of reasons. )

so, all and all, my personal hc of sonadow ( in most of the games // media ) is that they're enemies to allies to friends to best friends to lovers, includes shadow simping. slow burn, baby.

So this is for one of the AOSTH Sonadow AU (The one I posted about earlier) and I had a train of thought of ‘what if Scratch and Grounder took advantage of Sonic being in love with Shadow?’ And that’s where I went down a rabbit hole of Scratch and Grounder (for one singular episode(?)) trying to capture sonic in the beginning, and after failing, they pay more attention to how Sonic is enamored with Shadow. So, they decide to order Shadow to w with Sonic and act interested so they can set up and capture sonic with traps (“Ya like him anyways! Should be easy for ya!”)

Shadow thinks it’s stupid but agrees to do it anyways. And so, when Sonic is running along earlier and Shadow bumps into him, Sonic is about to make some remark when Shadow starts awkwardly flirting with him. Sonic is into it and finds it cute and they then proceed to go on a little date. Shadow kinda feels bad because yeah, he likes sonic but he’s technically deceiving him into falling into traps so that he can capture him. However, somehow at every turn, Sonic avoids said traps. How?

because Sonic knows it’s just a scheme. He saw how uncomfortable Shadow looked when flirting with him. How awkward it was. And what made it more obvious was Scratch and Grounder in the background snickering. It was so obvious to Sonic. But nonetheless, Sonic also loves shadow so he decides to take him out for a fun little date

at the end of said thing, Shadow feels bad so he confesses to this all being a ruse and Sonic’s like ��I know’ and Shadow is shocked. He is demanding how Sonic knows and Sonic’s like ‘It was kinda obvious.’. Shadow is embarrassed and Sonic is snickering.

Shadow asks sonic why he allowed this to continue for so long if he knew it was just a ruse, and Sonic goes ‘Well, it seems like your feelings are more genuine than a ruse goes’. Sonic then gives Shadow some flowers, kisses his hand and runs off saying ‘Cya, slow moe!’ While Shadow is just kinda flustered and standing there. (They still aren’t officially dating cause Shadow’s loyalty still lies In Eggman)

Scratch and Grounder proceed to tattle that Shadow went on a date with Sonic. Robotnik is furious until Shadow tells Robotnik it was Scratch and Grounder’s idea. Robotnik’s anger shifts to them and it ends with Shadow Just staring at the flowers

Anyways, that’s it for my idea. I might make art on this later.

Sonadow pacific rim AU

Some shit my gf and I came up with on a long road trip in an attempt to distract me from how bad I had to pee

Tails is both newt and Herman, he lied about it age to get the job and joined when he was like 16, he’s now 21 but has a permanent baby face and is never allowed into bars.

Sonic is known for having solo piloted a jaeger for a little bit but no one has any details on how that happened. He can also drift well with anyone in a practice run of a drift mostly because he’s kinda playing around, but when he gets serious he thinks too fast for anyone to keep up with. Except for shadow.

Now I’m a monster fucker, so inline with the black arms part of shadow, pacific rim shadow will have gotten kiju blue poisoning and then experimented on by some G.U.N. Parallel and now he’s ass has some kiju powers. He’s good at training new recruits and he and Sonic have the same practice fight with the bo staff moment that Raleigh and mako have. Unfortunately due to the trauma and the “‘keep everyone at arms length” disease that shadow has a hard time in the drift. Sonic ends up being compatible with him because Sonic is also compartmentalizing the fuck out of his own back story so like hell he’s gonna get nosey with shadows. He only cares about who shadow is right now.

Shadow right now is also carrying some secrets and /those/ Sonic will pry in to with reckless and wild abandon.

Through the drift he stars picking up on the alien parts of shadow and since shadow won’t tell him he goes to tails. Tails has been curious about drifting with a kiju brain and Sonic is just Icarus-coded enough to give it a try. Low and behold the alien vibes that he gets in the drift with shadow are the same as the kiju brain, but he can’t accurately report to tails the data that tails wants so now the three of them are on a mission to visit hanable chow (played by rouge) in Hong Kong and get a more in tact brain so tails can do the drift.

While stumbling through the streets of Hong Kong shadow and Sonic chill at a bar and attempt a heart to heart about the alien shit. (Shadow still doesn’t know that Sonic has started putting the pieces together and while Sonic still doesn’t want to pry about the past he’s having trouble finding a way to not bring it up as he questions the now)

Enter Sonic’s original drift partner.

In the original Raleigh has a brother, in the AU this character can either be played by manic or scourge (or silver is you want but I’m going with scourge). Originally on decently good terms scourge and Sonic were drift partners, during one particular attack scourge got assumedly eaten by the kiju. Sonic believes his brother died, meanwhile scourge is taken back to the precursors (kiju over lords) and they winter soldier his ass. Scourge is sent back to earth, decently unaware of what all the kiju did to him or why they sent him back to earth, all he knows is now he’s got these sick ass powers and a burning need to kill Sonic.

They meet at the bar and Sonic starts having a very reasonable panic attack. A fight breaks out. Sonic is NOT giving it his all because he does low key blame himself for what happened and he really would just like to talk to his brother again. Sonic goes down. Shadow steps in. The last thing Sonic sees before he blacks out is shadow glowing in the same way scourge is as he takes over the fight.

This could be an alright start with that. "Fine. I guess I'll tell you." Sonic gives him a small smile at that. Shadow tries not to think about the reaction he feels in his stomach seeing it, and decides to tell the story.

Before reading - I guess this is set in a little au that I'm still trying to figure out. (Because this was originally intended to be a scene in a longer fic I'm planning to write)

So for now, this is set in Shadow's room, after him and Sonic started to get to know eachother more after working out a tense rivalry.

(I apologise for any poor spelling here, English isn't my first language and I didn't put too much effort into this one)

"Wait- Shads... is that blood?! Are you bleeding?" Sonic frantically asked, as he pointed towards Shadow's eyes, there was a red smear of... something, just above them.

"What? Oh. That's just my eyeliner. It probably smeared." Shadow shrugged, with annoyance in his voice. He hated whenever that happened.

Sonic's expression changed to a surprised one. "That's eyeliner?! Huh, I had always thought it was just like, the colour of your fur. But now that I do take a good look at it... it is a bit shiny... indeed kinda different from the red in your quills." Sonic tilted his head sideways, inspecting the red lines around his eyes.

"Hah. Well, I guess it's just not that noticeable." Shadow stated, tearing his eyes away from Sonic's blown open eyes and raised eyebrows. He tried to ignore the way he still felt his gaze on him.

"Why do you wear it, though?" Sonic tilted his head to the side.

Apparently, Shadow made a face at that question because Sonic immediately starts rapidly apologising. "No- I mean like... It's not like I think it doesn't suit you- In my honest opinion it even looks good on you- uhm..." Sonic swallowed. "And I don't mean that you're like- that it's stupid, or something. It's just-"

"It's fine, Sonic." Shadow cuts off his rapid rambling. Sonic shuts his mouth and looks attentively at him, as if waiting for Shadow to continue.

The black hedgehog sighs. He really wasn't particularly keen on sharing stories from his past, but he supposes it's time to allow himself to share more of himself with others. This could be an alright start with that. "Fine. I guess I'll tell you." Sonic gives him a small smile at that. Shadow tries not to think about the reaction he feels in his stomach seeing it, and decides to tell the story.

"Whenever Maria got ready for school, or special events, or anything, really. I would always accompany her in anything she did. Through almost all the steps of her routine, I would be by her side, just... watching. We didn't necessarily have to talk or anything, I would just be there, be present. It was comforting." Shadow brings his gaze up from where they previously rested on his shoes, to meet Sonic's eyes. He sees that Sonic has a unique expression on his face, like he's actually interested in what he's telling him.

Shadow then remembers he still needed to continue. "But anyways- that's besides the point." He brings his gaze elsewhere. "She would usually do her makeup at the bathroom sink. She usually didn't do much... she often just did something basic, for things such as school. But for parties or special events, she would use some extra products. I would always just watch attentively at whatever she was applying to her face. The first time I saw her do a more... complicated look, I was a bit confused when she started tracing her eyeline with some red pencil. It seemed she noticed my puzzled face and chuckled at it. She then asked me if I wanted to try some. And because I liked being included, I agreed to it... It felt funny feeling the rather cold liquid of the eyeliner seeping through my fur. After she was done, I looked in the mirror and inspected the finished product. It wasn't bad... I quite liked the look of it, actually."

Shadow looked around the room, not daring to make eye contact with Sonic, for some reason.

"As I was inspecting the newly drawn lines around my eyes, she giggled and said that it suited me. So, whenever she would do her eyeliner, she would also put it on me. After every time, I would look in the mirror and notice she improved her skills with it again, the lines being done more neatly each time. She eventually even taught me how to do it myself. I didn't wear it often back then, when she was still..." Shadow trailed off, not wanting to say the thing he hated most, the thing that brought him the most pain.

In his peripheral vision, he saw Sonic nod and turn his head a tad to the side in understanding. Shadow swallowed and looked up at him again. "And well, after I lost her, I found some red eyeliner in a drug store and took it with me. I still remembered how to apply it. When I first saw myself with that same eyeliner again, it brought me back to all the times I sat on that cold kitchen sink with her." He let out a soft chuckle to himself. "Well... I haven't stopped wearing it since, as you can tell."

"Hm. She's right, it does look neat on you. Even if it didn't look as profesional back then." Sonic quirked a smile.

"Right, thanks." Shadow replied dryly.

MAJOR SPOILERS FOR SONIC MOVIE 3 (if you haven’t seen it yet look away now)

Here are my thoughts on the movie:

Okay so that opening was PERFECTION!! I absolutely love how they immediately hit us with the Maria flashbacks, this film didn’t pull any punches with Shadow and Maria’s relationship (and especially the tragedy)

Tom and Sonic visiting the old cave melted my heart. I’m very glad they mentioned Sonic loosing Longclaw again, I was slightly worried they weren’t going to fully address it. I especially love how they re-address it later in the film to help Sonic connect with Shadow, because both of them have experienced loss.

I completely lost my mind when Sonic said “Talk about a low budget flight, no food or movies! We’re outta here!!” I wasn’t expecting that line to be included but HOLY SHIT HE SAID THE THING!!! I swear I almost did the Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the screen meme in the cinema 🫵

I wasn’t expecting to see Shadow watch telenovelas, but here we are

FUCKING CALLED IT!!! Tom got hurt by Shadow!! That entire scene of Sonic shaking Tom’s unconscious body, and Shadow having flashbacks to Maria’s death, I loved it!! It was an especially great way to show Shadow beginning to realize that what he’s doing is wrong, that the path of vengeance only leads to more pain.

SPEAKING OF PAIN—

I almost cried when they showed Shadow and Maria together. It made my heart hurt so much, they really did a good job hitting all of us in the feels and laying it on thick with the tragedy. They were so happy together! Seeing Shadow smiling, dancing, just having fun with Maria, only to have it all taken away…

I’m not sure how I feel yet about the changes they made to the backstory. I definitely think they fit for the movie universe, but some of it caught me off guard. Shadow being an alien instead of man-made, and erasing Maria’s illness. Idk, I think it makes sense for this universe but I’m unsure if I completely like the changes or not :/ (they’re definitely not bad, just different)

Okay but that scene of Shadow and Sonic on the moon just talking it out, connecting, sharing their pain, it was all perfect. Oh yeah also….WTF HAPPENED TO THE MASTER EMERALD?! After Sonic and Shadow finish using it we never see the chaos emeralds again! Did they fall to earth?! Did the ones Shadow use get blown up?! I imagine not. We never see Knuckles say anything, nor any of the characters for that matter. Maybe that’s a problem for the next film *shrugs*

Yes, they’re making Sonic 4. I wasn’t entirely expecting them to give us two characters instead of one like they did for the last two movies. I had honestly placed my bets on Amy being revealed and lo and behold, I was right!!(ngl I knew Silver was a long shot but I can dream). Metal Sonic as well is pretty exciting! No clue who would’ve built him since it seems Robotnik/Eggman is DEAD dead fr this time. Maybe Stone? I’m not sure tho. The fact that there were multiple Metal Sonic’s has me thinking the big bad of Sonic 4 is gonna use an army of them, which is very cool!

I just…..this movie is everything I wanted and more. It was genuinely worth the wait. I think that’s all I wanted to say in this post so uh…bye! 👋

Alrighty, to start, I wanna say that I loved the movie. The fight scenes were awesome and I could DEF tell that Jim Carrey had fun in his role xD

However, I will say that there were several moments that made me audibly cringe. There was many a cringe

I don't understand how Sonic is able to breathe in space. Even when he has his power taken away from him, he is still perfectly capable of breathing and having a whole heart to heart with Shadow on the moon. I could chalk it up to it being that Mobians can breathe in space, but Tails can't breathe in space. He had to hold his breathe and passed out from the lack of oxygen. Also the fact that Sonic has nearly drowned before, but has no problem breathing in space really bothers me

The vibe between Gerald and Ivo was... almost sexual?? In a way??? There were a couple scenes where I thought they might kiss. It was really weird, some of the moments they had

Also I feel really bad for Stone. All he wanted was to be gay and he never got to

Another thing: Amy's design. THEY FUCKED IT UP. Metal Sonic looks awesome but THEY FUCKED UP HER DESIGN. Idk wtf is up with her little fur spike things on the front of her head, but it just reminds me of Asta from Black Clover. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited she's in, but I hope they tweak her design

Also they just cut off a chunk of the moon and they're gonna act like there's no consequences???

Ima be honest, I was kinda disappointed with Keanu Reeves' voice acting for Shadow. Every time Keanu spoke, it sounded like he was using his head voice, which made all his speaking lines sound kinda low effort and forced

I REALLY hope we get Super Tails soon, cuz I wanna see the little cape. Also he'd be unstoppable and I wanna see how the movie will handle that

once she was in the make GUN kinda screwed up in her designing progress which resulted in her having a lot of species mixed into her appearance

fun fact: the reason she is brown is because that was the favorite color of the guy in charge of designing her

luckily the poor girl got rescued by sonic when she was sent out onto her first mission (she was 4 at that time)

the black arms DNA in shadow his DNA got through to her

she has a demon form that is kinda like her super form but ya know still demon

During the earlier stages of the baby times, Shadow was much more tired and often was very protective of baby. So heres a little doodle of him sleeping and protecting the baby in bed.

After a few months of recovery, Shadow went back to his usual awake self, though it was kinda funny seeing him sleeping more than Sonic does (who sleeps alot!).

Oldies Au (Blazamy) Doodle #3

Flare had a lot of problems growing up, but throughout all of them, she was always feirce and determined to overcome them!

That trait is still present even as a baby. Here she is taking her first steps, never giving up despite all the challenges and falls.

Also, because it took so long for this to happen, Blaze and Amy were so surprised and happy that Blaze started crying (and then immediatley called Silver to tell him what happened. ) Amy got the zoomies and couldnt help but jump around, cheer and celebrate.

Bonus:

As characters get older, their colors get more desaturated overtime. So babies are the most saturated, whilst elders or older adults are very greyed out. When it comes to black and white colored characters, same thing applies (white turns greyer/ darker. Black turns greyer/lighter).

The only exception to the saturation rule, would be the super forms. As that remains glowy and bright.

Oh, and Meridiana (also known as Baby) get his "stripes" as he grows up. Similarly, Greybell gets his little "glow-ring" patterns and horns, as he grows as well. This goes for powers as well.

Though unlike Greybell, Meri and Flare got the quick trait, so their powers activated earlier, and Greybell got it very late. (Much to the parents dismay as babies can barely* control their powers. Think of baby sonic crashing into walls, or baby blaze burning her stuff toys, you get the idea.)

yknow I complain at least once a month about not being able to find any non-toxic mephilver but maybe I should actually be yapping about that instead of complaining and doing nothing

somehow, it took me this long for my dumb ass to realise that maybe part of the reason there's none of it is because I'm either the only one or one of very few whose imagination is geared towards it right now. To that end... I should probably do some yappin' on how I see it working. (This is assuming it's reciprocated lol 😂 this ship has enough angsty writers already as im preeeetty sure I've pointed out). Anyway I'm not coherent enough to write a post so this is gonna be a little weirdly written but hey we ball.

ok, so in a story sense- at least for the games- there's two ways I see this happening. The first is a divergent 06 in which Mephiles and Silver get more time to interact and it's a tentative allies to friends to lovers situation. This kind of a route would likely have Silver figuring out what's up with Meph and the real situation behind all the fuckery everyone's pulling, and steers him off the murder path and onto a better ending that would theoretically lead to ally meph and/or a reunited Solaris. (Technically making the ship Solaris/Silver, but since Mephiles is the mind and heart, there's not much of a difference in that regard.) essentially, a canon divergence where Silver figures out Mephiles is lying, steers him onto a different path, and they friends-to-lovers their way into ship territory.

The other pathway is a little more complicated, but it's one I've been toying with. This is post-06, and deals with the idea that Silver goes back to the White Space somehow (either via the Time Stones, any leftover power from the Time Eater Eggman has, or some other way) and gets Meph out of there himself. This pathway requires Silver remembering 06, knowing Mephiles is in the White Space, and having the emotional maturity to look back on it and realise Mephiles' punishment is too harsh for his goals. Whether he knows that Iblis is (probably) sealed in Blaze is up to you, he might he might not. Regardless, this path changes Meph a bit- being sealed in the White Space for 5 years at a minimum (probably idk how the timeline works) fucks you up major, so you have a bit (a lot) of slow-burn-heal-arc shit to do before anything starts happening. From there, though, I see it as a warm slow roommates-to-lovers type beat where they're both just kinda trying to live their lives amid time being fucked up and evil and a disaster every five minutes.

Obviously you can also work with it in other AUs or just disregard story entirely and create small sweet pockets of story where they're together and fuck the logistics, which is essentially what I do 90% of the time. It works pretty well with modern AUs in my experience, and serves as a cute sister ship to Sonadow!

Dynamic-wise, which is probably what I should've led with but here we are, I like to think of a fluffy version of the ship as being very soft and comfortable with each other. They're on their guard pretty much 100% of the time, so the moments they get alone with each other are that time to drop it and relax. Between Silver having to save the future all the time and Mephiles trying to find Iblis and reunite, they're both stressed a lot, so they lean on each other. I like to think they go on adventures together...

I wrote once in a document for an au that Silver has a lot of love to give and Mephiles needs to be given a lot, which is the best way I can describe the dynamic simply. To extend on that and explain it a little more, Silver gives a lot of love obviously. He takes less than he gives, but he'll take his boyfriend's love with just as much care as he gives his own. Mephiles, on the other hand, is more subtle. He takes all the love Silver gives, but he shows reciprocation in all the small ways that are hard to notice if you're not Silver himself. He gives less than he takes by nature, but when he does give it's always exactly what Silver needs and he knows it. They're a very synergetic pair, if that makes any sense. The type to cuddle up and take naps together.

There's a lot of room for headcanon, too- I mess with the idea a lot that Mephiles radiates heat (he's still a part of the sun god) and that leads to some fun conclusions. Alternatively, there's also room for some angst (because Chaos forbid I follow my own rules on a post). Anyone else seen that dynamic of a god falling in love with a mortal and struggling with the implications and the fact that they're not supposed to fall for mortals but here they are? Yeah. That's fuckin DELICIOUS when it's applied to a split god like Mephiles who's technically supposed to be spending his time looking for Iblis and reuniting instead of falling for someone he doesn't think he deserves. Especially if you apply the idea that he's mentally assumed his life is on hold until he finds Iblis (that is not how it works) and now he's in love by accident.

Anyway yeah that's uh. That's my rambling. 👍 If anyone has other ideas for fluffy mephilver do tell

Fav song hmm.. I’m someone who can listen to pretty much anything but I listen to a lot of 80’s music.

I also really like Tove lo, her songs are super catchy ✨ lately I’ve listened to «Cannons» and «Gunship» a lot too. But if I have to choose one song that means something to me it would maybe be… «Don’t Want to Feel it All» by White lies.

Choosing a fav song from the Sonic franchise is super hard because there’s so many good ones 😭 If there’s one that comes to mind that might surprise some, it’s the biolizard boss song «supporting me». I’m not sure why but that one just gives me so much feels, ya know?

and to answer your question i’m going to warn you this is going to be kinda long because i’m gonna use this post as an excuse to show my 3D models that aren’t awful (sorry lol).

i actually use two different programs, both for different purposes, but you don’t need to get both, it really depends on which kind of modeling you want to do.

1) the first is called Nomad Sculpt on the iPad, you do have to pay for it unfortunately but it’s definitely one of the best modeling apps for the iPad. i know Blender is free but my computer is really old and doesn’t run the program very well, and at this point i’ve already gotten used to nomad sculpt.

anyway tho, i use it for art-related things like the obvious 3D models, but recently i’ve been playing around with just making scenes to use as references for my drawings. they’re not anything impressive, most of the time i actually use it to make little figurines to print and turn into earrings/little friends that sit in my room just for fun.

i’m gonna show this first bc they look cooler once they’re printed and colored (also you can tell i printed mini crowley and aziraphale when my sonadow hyperfixation started bc i never actually painted crowley) (he’s just kinda sitting there oops).

the little red guys are actually my favorite bugs (goliath beetles), i made them about a year ago but i still wear them like every day.

and here’s what they look like in the app, it’s a little intimidating but once you get used to it it’s actually kinda fun just playing around and seeing what you can do.

2) the second program i use is Shapr3D (also for the iPad, but i think they made an update where you can run it on windows/mac). you also have to pay for this as a subscription which sucks, i’m only able to use it since the engineering program i’m in pays for it.

Shapr3D is one of the many CAD software programs out there, but it’s nice bc it’s very beginner friendly and very easy to use. CAD is mainly for architecture/engineering but i honestly think more 3D artists should give it a try. it’s really nice once you get the hang of it and (i’m probably biased bc i’m a student) i honestly prefer it over just normal modeling software because i feel like you can be a lot more creative with it.

right now for my engineering class, our semester final is to design and present something that’s functional, and we can either explain the math behind it or just 3D print it and demonstrate how it works, and i’m making a functional mini model of “the rack” trap from Saw III (i’m not psychotic i swear i’ve just had a Saw hyperfixation for 5 years).

i’m definitely gonna post it when it’s finished just bc i’m already excited with how it’s turning out, but for now here’s a couple at-home projects i’ve done:

(above) i have a bunch of wet liners and i designed a stackable holder thingy with bolts between the shelves and a little cute star screw to fasten it at the top.

(above) i also made a few rotating brush holders at home (bc the ones that actually rotate are like $40 for some reason) by buying a set of small sphere bearings at home depot for like $5 (that’s what those little metal things are inside the third one, i took it apart bc i don’t know how to put a video and a picture in the same post) (just pretend they’re spinning rn).

so I had an idea for an au where (since Shadow is immortal and ageless) he ends up saving Silver from death and raises him. Later when the future starts going to shit Silver goes back in time to save it (even though Shadow doesn't rlly want him to). Silver gives up on trying though because he's tried literally everything to fix the future but nothing's working. So Shadow has to go back into the past with him although he had been avoiding it. He was hoping Silver could do it on his own bc he doesn't want to go back to the past and see his past self (since he's changed and kinda hates his old self) and his old friends/lover (Sonadow?) again. Since he watched them die of old age (it hurt him a lotwtt) But he ends up having to go back and has like a whole breakdown.

But idk just a random thought what do u think? (I also don't know if this was already done lmao)

I thought of similar ideas but I never had the justification to actually engage w it in the past (pun unintended). Might do something with this idea tho lol
