Jazz's "Apology Tour" ramble
Episode was trash, let's go.
First off, the whole "Fuck Blitzo" party is so stupid to me, like you're telling me this 30-something year old man had intimate relationships with ALL these demons and HE was the sole thing that ruined ALL of them?
And how did Verosika even find out about Stolas? Like I know Ozzie's happened, but how'd she hear about their "breakup" (they weren't together but whatever, show)?
Why the FUCK does Verosika care about Stolas being an uwu sad victim of mean old Blitzo aside from everyone being written to want to huff Stolas' sad boi farts?
Why is no one trying to kill Stolas like in Loo Loo Land, like suddenly we're just cool with the oppressive racist now (who am I kidding, the rank system doesn't exist anymore unless the "meanie supremacist" characters bring it up I guess)?
Don't think I'm trying to be "Blitzo's#1Bitch69" or anything, but Season 2 is just so gross in how they've written him. Either he's the big bully meanie for hating his abuser, or they've had him commit the most out of pocket atrocities (like possibly SAing Stolas since he was technically drunk or the circus incident or the shit he pulled with Verosika because what the fuck kinda trauma makes you steal someone credit card for horse riding lessons???) that they just gloss over because fuck having Blitzo actually progress normally or Stolas taking actual responsibility for his own actions, let's just speed through everything so it's back to Stolitz City, don't think about the implications. I just can't stand itttt, I still like and pity Blitz to an extent but his writing is killing meeee
Stolas, stop whimpering about being wanted YOU HAVE A KID WHO HAS STILL NOT APPEARED SINCE SEEING STARS WHERE IS SHE?
Am I really hearing that people are hating the dude flirting with Stolas like come on yall STOLITZ IS NOT OFFICIAL YET CHILL
I've honestly started skipping through episodes, like I can't fucking listen to "WAHHHHH BLITZO I WANT YOU TO WANT ME" for the millionth time, I wish this episode could've just been Blitzo and Verosika facing their issues or something I just don't wanna see this owl loser act like a victim anymoreeee
Man really said "when have I ever been condescending?" SEASON ONE???? How about every time you grab his face and call him out of his name and watch him be shot at while demanding he come over one a month? Oh, but when Blitz starts doing it back it's "Oh I'm uncomfortable ooOoOoo stop it Blitz hnnghhh I don't like it :C :C :C", like whatever man.
The Striker comment was dumb and wrong but that's because Stolas is dumb and wrong
Honestly I feel like I'm repeating the same points I and others have made in the past so all imma say is, I hope Octavia and Stella are enjoying their off-screen and better written adventures together. I'm gonna draw some AU stuff now to give my eyes something better to look at.
OH I forgot to talk about Verosika, uh, she was there? I honestly think she should just get over herself at this point, idk when she and Blitz broke up but what the fuck is it about this clown that she was so enamored over where she's this hurt? I can get being mad about her credit card and Blitz being a lazy partner but if that's the case, I fail to see how they got to a point where she got his name tatted on her arm. Idk it's weird
The Mayweather shit or whatever her name is was pointless and made no sense, like "I want you to kill this woman who made me attempt to kill her and myself but now we're dating" like? Hey Vivzie if yall can callback to that why can't yall call back to Stolas being a creep huh?
EDIT: They really made that fuckass "it's hell" excuse canon, huh? Like, it doesn't even make sense in the context of Blitz saying that, like people say "it's hell" because Biblically speaking, it's where those who truly oppose God in order to live a life of wickedness go as just punishment. Blitz the equivalent of a regular guy in Hell unlike the Hazbin characters, he shouldn't understand that there's a better alternative to Hell because he's not human and never had any opportunity to learn about Heaven or God (unless it's just in their DNA or something idk who knows with this show)

Haikyuu boys n cuddles ──☆*:・゚
Team ! karasuno
Characters: Hinata, Kageyama, Tsukishima, Yamaguchi, Nishinoya, Daichi, Sugawara, Tanaka
Tumblr media
Hinata✿
He will do anything to spend all day with you cuddling but bro has places to be yk
But he still tries to cuddle as much as possible even in public. If he’s on break and your there he will cuddle up to you in front of everyone, he don’t care! Unless your the one cuddling up to him then he will start blushinggg
But mostly y’all cuddle at one of your houses. He’s so awake and hyper that he can’t stay still but two minutes into the cuddle sesh he’s gone. He drools all over you but you don’t care, and you’ll gladly kiss him awake when it’s time to go
He mainly clings onto your side, like he just clamps himself onto your waist or arm and will just stay there! He also likes being held by you but that’s only for special occasions
Kageyama✿
He doesn’t beg and whine for cuddles but he will be pissed if he doesn’t get cuddles when he wants. He expects you to read his mind; “how was I supposed to know you wanted to cuddle you didn’t say anything?” “I DONT KNOW!”
But once he does get them he is very pleased with himself, he feel like he wins since he didn’t have to ask even though he was pouting the whole day which is basically the same-
He normally big spoons you while his face is like (¬◡¬). If you catch a glimpse of his dumb smirk you tease him which makes him hide in your hair instead~
He’s scared of cuddling anywhere public in any way- he wants cuddles to be private and special! He like just being with you and no one else ok!
Tsukishima✿
He thinks he’s so smart trying to make cuddling ‘your idea’ even though you didn’t even say anything at all. Like random he just walks up to you; “fineee since you wanna whine so much I guess we could cuddle.” You didn’t even say anything before he spoke up he was just to shy to admit he wanted to cuddle
He big spoons you but what he really loves is resting his head on your chest and wrapping his arms around you, You play with his hair and call him ‘your baby’ and at that point he doesn’t even try to stop it. He will deny it later tho👍
The only cuddling he really does PDA wise is letting you rest on him. He doesn’t care abt all the teasing his gunna get if your tired he doesn’t care he will be a pillow. Again he will deny it later even though there were witnesses
Yamaguchi✿
Never will he ever ask to cuddle, it’s way too embarrassing to ask you he’d rather just curl into a ball on top of you and wait for you to acknowledge him, he always lays on top of you even if he’s bigger or smaller than you he doesn’t care. He draws shapes on your arms while he waits for attention, he also likes when you pat his head-
Once you finally engage with him he was just start TALKINGG, about anything! When he’s comfortable he talks! About his day n such and sometimes he goes “oh do you wanna say something? No? Ok…blah blah blahhh” you don’t mind his yapping at all though
If you try hugging him in public or pulling him in he will just look away timidly and softly push off, hopeing no one sees his red face~
Nishinoya✿
He tries cuddling you literally everywhere. He can’t go one second without a cuddle- he could be in the middle of shopping or something and he will just stop, turn around and cling onto you, then after a minute he will get off and act like nothing happened
If you guys r just hanging out at your house and y’all decide to cuddle uhm, your going to have to pick the position cuz he can not make up his mind- honestly he just sprawls out and let’s you do whatever, normally you just hold him which he’s chill with
Also if you don’t give him nose kisses or play with his hair while cuddling he’s gunna be madddd!
Daichi✿
He gives you hugs n love but cuddling is rare but when it does happen it lasts HOURS. Like 4 full hours I’m being Fr. He holds you close to his chest and just stays there, he doesn’t even fall asleep he’s fully awake and he remembers every moment!
He waits all day for you both to have free time so you could just talk and cuddle and he will get impatient in you take too long, he’s been waiting all day ofc he’s gunna get impatient; “y/n hurry up!!!” “Be PATIENT!” “UGHHH”
When y’all cuddle he always hides his face in your hair or neck and he gets cold like really easily so when he starts getting a little cold he tightens his arms around you hoping for you to bring warmth to him
Sugawara✿
He is obsessed with cuddles but if he asked for them all the time he would feel like he’s bothering you, WHICH HES NOT!
He tries to figure out if your busy in any way ; “sooo y/n, you doing anything?” “Uhm no?” “Cool…cool…” “…do you wanna cuddle~!” “Yeah” you can tell what he wants without him having to ask which he loves
He cuddles by tucking under your chin and basically hiding in the neck, when you cuddle it’s nap time for him so you have a sleeping boy hiding in your neck while softly snoring, you comment about his snoring later and he got embarrassed 😔
Tanaka✿
He normally only cuddles late at night when he’s still hype asf and needs to calm down, so he just throws himself onto you-
He obviously uses your chest as a pillow so he wraps his hands round your waist as well, you could feel him nuzzling into your chest while he whispers something about you being so hot (as usual)
On a serious note he finds is so cute when you drag your thumb over his cheeks in an attempt to calm him down, he always grabs your hand and kisses it before actually calming down.
This should NOT have taken this long but I had shit to do forgive me😋
Btw: not proof read cuz I’m lazy🤞

Yay!
Tumblr media
(yandere! sweetheart x gn! reader)
You've seen him around. Seen how he talks, how he acts. And you're certain of one thing.
He's not what he looks to be.
Others might say you're paranoid or something, say you're just jealous of him and how everyone seems to adore him. But you really aren't. You just... You're just scared of him.
You're sure of it. It's his whole vibe and aura. It fucking creeps you out and you just can't understand why no one else can feel that. But you suppose it's because he looks like just another guy who's awfully sweet.
His eyes, lips, they all tell a different story as compared to the eerie vibe he gives off. Normally the eyes would be able to tell if he was just acting but... Even his eyes show that he's just a sweetheart.
You've rethought your opinions on him several times. Maybe you're just mistaken. Perhaps you're thinking too much about it.
But no matter how hard you've tried to see him in a positive light, your stomach churns with an indescribable fear. And your gut has never once lied to you.
Which is why you're currently trying to leave this scary situation which your best friend has put you in. She had brought you out to eat for a hangout and out of nowhere, this guy popped out and your friend invited him to join you two without caring about your opinion. You really wanted to punt her after she did that.
Anyways, she's in the toilet right now which means that you're left alone with him.
You didn't know what to say. You honestly just wanted to avoid him if you could. But he seemed to have other ideas.
"So! What have you been up to? I've been volunteering and helping around town, planting flowers and accompanying old granny-"
You tune out his words, staring at him with a slightly unnerved expression. Shit, he really does look like your average cute guy who's just a sweetheart. You can't help but feel bad about ignoring him but... even now, you're on edge. How could this be? You don't even sense any malicious intent but you're worried?
"Hey! Are you not listening?"
You snap out of your daze, blinking several times as you gulp nervously.
"Ah... apologies. I was just... tired, yeah."
"Hm..."
He hums, still smiling at you as he props his hands on the table and rests his chin on them. You figut the urge to look away from him as he stares holes into your skull. Shit, when is your friend going to return? You can't handle this anymore...
"Say, darling, do I scare you that much?"
He suddenly mumbles, catching you off guard by the petname and his words. What? He knew that he scared you?
"I knew that you were different. That you could see something others couldn't. Which is why I was interested in the first place. But it really hurts me to see you blatantly ignoring me more and more each day."
He complains, pouting at you as he continues to stare straight into your soul. You feel a shiver run down your spine as your mouth runs dry. Wait what? What is going on? Why did he say that? He knew? Darling? Did he like you?! What the hell?
"You're really special to me. I really don't want you to be scared of me."
He reaches one of his hands out and places it above your trembling ones. He smiles warmly, though you can't help but feel chilled by the action. Damn boy! Stop! You don't like this!
"W-what are you-"
"I am completely in love with you. And I apologize about my... condition that has scared you."
He admits, cheeks flushed as he continues to stare at you, eyes unblinking. You have no response to him. Who knew that the town sweetheart that scared the shit out of you had fallen for you? And condition? Oh shit, was he like, a devil or something?
You gulp nervously, lower lip trembling as you freeze in your seat. Cold sweat decorates your forehead as you pray for your friend to hurry her ass up.
"Ah... I had planned to just take you, you know? But I don't want you to be too frightened of me... It hurts. Truly."
He sighs before removing his hand away from yours, looking at the direction in which your friend was walking from. Thank god! What was she even doing for so long?! She was gone for five full minutes, damn!
"Your friend is back, let's cheer up a bit, hm?"
He chuckles lightly, stirring his coffee as he finally breaks the prolonged eye contact which made you feel naked. Whew, finally that was over. You felt molested by him even though all he did was say some creepy shit.
But... condition. Hm... You'd need to do more research about him. Maybe then you could finally understand why you felt so unnderved by this guy.
And perhaps even try to get rid of the constant stress in your mind. Which would be him, obviously.
He seemed to know so much about you yet you know almost nothing about him. This was really not an optimal position for you.
"Haha! Did you see a ghost or something? You look scared as shit!"
Your friend jokes, taking her seat beside you as she goes back to eating her cake.
Yeah, she was right. You did just see a ghost. And this ghost was sitting right at the table together with you two.
Damn it, this was really the worst.

CHOI SEUNGCHEOL
Despite Seungcheol being cute and sweet around you most of the time, he’s not so chill anymore when he sees you being all over another guy. He perfectly knows that he’s your best friend, perfectly knows that you want both of them to get along well because that’s why you asked him to come with you to this café, but he couldn’t help glaring at the other guy like he committed the worst crimes ever. Cheol tried his best to remain respectful and answer your best friend's questions, but he couldn’t help feeling a little jealous at watching you laugh with someone else about things he had no clue about. This would make him realize how bad he wanted to be with you, and how dumb it was of him to try and act as if he was not smitten by you. After this meeting during which he spent the whole time staring at the guy, he would plan the perfect confession to tell you how he feels about you and to not have to support this anymore.
YOON JEONGHAN
As usual, Jeonghan will act like a little shit. When you told him you wanted to plan a game night with him and your best friend so they could meet, he knew it was his chance to be insufferable. And he was the most annoying the whole night : cheating at every game and pretending to have done nothing, teasing your best friend for being a loser, and being the cheeky bastard he is. Deep down, he just felt like he was too late to confess to you about his crush, seeing how close and comfortable you seemed to be with this other guy. And it was only the worst side of him telling him to take some kind of revenge by being very irritating. Though Jeonghan would feel bad when you left and told him that he could’ve been nicer to your best friend. The last thing he wanted was to make you feel like he didn’t care about you and your emotions. It would take him a few hours of deep thinking before he sent you the longest text ever to explain his behavior and thus confess.
HONG JOSHUA
Not being a very jealous person, Joshua didn’t expect the rush of anger that came with running into you and your best friend at the mall. There was seemingly nothing to be jealous about, you were just acting like a normal person being close and affectionate with their best friend. He was perfectly aware of that, but still, he felt like the third wheel while walking with the two of you. When he would try to talk to you, the other guy would always open his mouth and Joshua was getting really annoyed. Finally, your best friend left, leaving you with a pouty Joshua. You would ask him what’s wrong, and why he didn’t make an effort to get along with your best friend. And even if Joshua had been planning to confess for some time, trying to think about the most romantic way to do it, seeing another guy looking at you with the same lovestruck gaze he stared at you with was his last straw. He would tell you all about his feelings on the spot and pray inside that will not reject him.
MOON JUNHUI
He really holds his heart on his sleeve, so it’s not difficult to notice whether he’s happy or angry. Thus when you presented your long distance best friend that you hadn’t seen in a long time to him and his members, you could see how annoyed he was by the other guy's presence. You had every right to be all over someone you hadn’t seen in over a year, yes, but Jun felt a little bad anyway. You two had grown closer and closer, and he really thought that you had something special going on, that it was starting to be a little more than a casual friendship on your side too. But when he was seeing how you were acting around your best friend, he was not so sure anymore that you could maybe reciprocate his feelings. You were never so touchy with him, never so affectionate, never so flirty or straightforward. You would obviously notice how bothered and mostly sad Jun seemed to be the entire night but he kept saying that everything was okay, and he would end up leaving earlier because he could not stand the sight anymore. He would doubt a little but in the end, his friends will convince him to confess before it’s too late.
KWON SOONYOUNG
He would think that he’s sleek, but frankly, even you could see that he was jealous of the bond between you and your best friend. You would often bring him with you for your friendly gathering because you didn’t want him to spend his weekends alone and he was getting along well with everyone. Everyone except Soonyoung who couldn’t seem to appreciate him. In all honesty, your best friend was a cool guy, but Soonyoung didn’t want to befriend the guy who could probably steal his crush if he tried. This would get to the point that you would get in a fight with him about it, clearly not pleased that he didn’t make any effort to try and talk with your best friend. Your argument would be really bad, and you would both ignore each other for a week or two, too proud to admit that both of you had some parts to take in the fight. Soonyoung will eventually come back to you, practically begging on his knees to let him back in your life and accidentally confessing along the way of his monologue.
JEON WONWOO
Wonwoo is not one to get jealous easily, especially since you’re only his crush and not his partner, he has nothing to say in who you’re talking to and how you act with these same people. So to be honest, he’s not really jealous of the relationship you have with your best friend, but more of the way this guy is able to openly express his interest in you, always finding a way to compliment you and flirt with you without it making you uncomfortable. Which is precisely what Wonwoo is struggling to do, not knowing if saying that he finds you incredibly pretty in this or that outfit is off limits for “just friends”. Is it different because your bestie has no real attraction towards you and Wonwoo is genuinely trying to show you that he could treat you right ? Probably. But still, he’ll stay more quiet everytime your best friend is with you. You would assume that’s because he doesn’t feel too comfortable with people he doesn’t know much the first few times, and Wonwoo would take care that you don’t discover the real reason while taking mental notes of how to try and show you that he wants more as subtly as possible.
LEE JIHOON
Since he’s always trying to remember the most insignificant details about you and what you like, he would take pride in knowing things that your best friend doesn’t. He would never say it out loud obviously, but still, the discreet smirk on his face would give it away. When you go out at a coffee shop, your best friend always has to ask you what you want when Jihoon simply brings you your usual because he got your order memorized. While your best friend always has to ask you what you want or need for your birthday, Jihoon always knows exactly what to gift you and he never misses. But every time you told him about the things you did alone with the guy, or what you had planned with him for the weekends, he felt a little jealous. At this point, he thinks you’re either not interested in him or that you’re just very dense and oblivious to all the subtle things he does to show his interest in you. You have so much partner privileges and he’s not even your boyfriend. Yet. Because it would take him only a few more times of your best friend missing on what you really like to rush and finish the song he wanted to confess to you with.
LEE SEOKMIN
He doesn’t hide his jealousy well at all, everyone who knows him a little bit is able to tell that he doesn’t like your best friend. He thinks that the guy is not handsome, not interesting and not even funny. Well, not as much as him at least. That is a lie because deep down, he can’t help but wonder if you really like this guy more than him. So Seokmin will try to take as much space as possible, talking louder and making a lot more jokes than usual so that your attention would be on him and not on your best friend. He’s always a little extra on a daily basis, but when your best friend is here too, he’s even more outgoing, to the point he becomes a little annoying. But the only way he has to be more interesting than your best friend is by doing all this, or so he thought. When you told him that it was in fact a little disrespectful for the other guy and that you didn’t understand why he could not try to befriend him when he was usually the sweetest, Seokmin felt like an idiot and apologized immediately, cheeks burning and trying to come up with an excuse. His crush is as well hidden as his jealousy (that is to say, not at all), so you’re only waiting for him to finally confess.
KIM MINGYU
Another one who’s painfully obvious but he wouldn’t make a big deal of it in front of you, simply pouting and getting a lot quieter than he usually is. He will get so sulky, everytime he finds you laughing more at your best friend's jokes than at his. But he finds you so cute that he can’t stay mad at you for too long and he ends up liking the other guy because he’s obviously not mean nor annoying, Mingyu just can’t bear the thought of him snatching your attention away. And if he would of course never say a word about it to you directly, he will definitely complain about your best friend to some of his members, going on and on about why he can’t make up the fact that you like this guy more than him and that he can’t stand to hear you two joke around about things he doesn’t know about. Mingyu’s members would end up telling you to please do something about the situation because they can’t spend another two hours listening to why you should go out with him and not your best friend. He would be so shy when you address the issue with him, trying to deny it despite his red cheeks. But it’s okay because he’s very cute.
XU MINGHAO
He's pretty level-headed so it's not easy to get him to feel jealousy. And if it ever happens, Minghao knows that this emotion is not rational because firstly, you told him time and time how much you loved your relationship with your best friend and didn't want it to change, and secondly, you were not his partner - yet - so he had no right to be jealous. Of course, he doesn't doubt your intentions and what you told him, but he can't help but be suspicious about how your best friend perceives you. Because the guy looks at you the same way Minghao does : with fondness, like you were his entire world. And that was the whole problem. Because Minghao had tried to give you some hints here and there for a few months, just to test the water and you seemed not to have pushed him away so he was happy. But seeing the way you did the same thing with your bestie when you had explicitly told him you didn't have any feelings for him got him worried. Maybe you didn't really like him in the end, maybe you were just trying to be kind and not hurt him ? So rather than being jealous, he would be anxious. It's probably what would give him the little push he needed to finally confess to you.
BOO SEUNGKWAN
I think he would try - and notice how I insist on try - to stay calm and collected because from an outside point of view, there is nothing wrong going on. But from his point of view, your best friend is clearly being too touchy and Seungkwan feels jealous even if he denies it. Because the nasty looks he gives your best friend everytime he hangs out with you kinda gives it away. He’s so obvious but won’t say a word about the real reason. Seungkwan will instead pretend it’s because he doesn’t get along with your best friend and dislikes him. He can’t stop himself from making snarky remarks, or mocking him under the guise of it being a joke. And he would have continued like that if you hadn’t told him one time that you were kinda sad that he didn’t like one of the most important people in your life. Seungkwan would feel bad and make an effort to at least tolerate the guy and be a little less mean but the side eyes everytime he did or said something he found embarrassing didn’t go away. He would certainly not be able to put up with this situation for long, and after another time of him not being nice to your best friend, you would have a silly fight during which he will confess. And magically, he was all gentle and friendly to your bestie after you became his partner.
CHWE HANSOL
Hansol and you immediately clicked when you were introduced to each other, never going through the awkward stage of a friendship. So when you told him how, on the contrary, you stayed pretty long in this uncomfortable situation with your best friend before getting very close to each other, he felt kind of superior to the other guy, like his bond with you was much more real and valid. Hansol didn’t really know where all these feelings were coming from, nor why he felt so upset seeing you hug and be touchy with someone that was not him. Not that both of you were particularly physically affectionate, but you often had a hand on his arm when you talked, or you placed your head on his shoulder when you were watching a movie, or you held on to him or his jacket to not get lost when walking through crowded spaces. And Hansol thought that these moments were special, that he was special in a sense. This wouldn’t really be jealousy, but much more disappointment because he would think he read the signs wrong and start to cancel plans if he knows your best friend will be here. He would however decide to confess or at least do something to sort this problem when you told him that you were sad he was distancing himself from you.
LEE CHAN
Even if his crush on you is pretty obvious, his jealousy would not be so visible. Chan would choose to befriend your bestie instead because you know what they say : keep your friends close and your enemies even closer. So he’ll play the kind and fun guy around him, just to see how your best friend acts with you. And he’s clearly not having it, not loving at all the fact that he always touches you and tries to get closer to you. Sometimes, it even seems like you don’t even want him to touch you and swat his hands away but he always comes back pretending it’s a joke, playfully fighting. But Chan doesn’t need to be an expert in relationships to understand that this is clearly not okay, and he can’t help thinking that he would never do that to you, that he will always respect your consent. He’s also pretty sure that you have a thing for him too so he’s not going to put up with the situation for too long. Until then, he’ll subtly make comments or do things to make you understand his intentions more and to signal to your best friend that he’s not going to take you away from him anymore.

Welcome back, Sara!!! For a fluffy Mike idea, maybe just a cozy rainy day spent at home with Mike and Abby? Like watching movies with cups of hot cocoa under a mountain of blankets, and all that jazz
Hi Logan ☺️☺️☺️ thanks for sending this in. I’m always afraid of writing fluff fics bc like everyone wants the smut, but it’s reassuring to have this put in lol
it’s a sunday and mike just so happens to have the day off. he’s been working long and hard hours and you convinced him to take the day off. you and abby are so excited; you two planned the whole day from the moment you woke up to the time it was time for abby to sleep. unfortunately, it’s rainy and a sudden wind chill swept through. none of you need to get sick and mike didn’t want to make making abby carry an umbrella, so you make the quick decision to stay in. abby’s a little disappointed, but you try to make up for it.
the first thing you and mike do in the morning is make a fort with abby. and not just a little four corners fort. no, she makes you cover the entire living room with blankets. even the tv was included! you and mike are dragged into some play-pretend games. for a lot of them mike’s forced to play some sort of villan.
“why can’t i play the hero, abby?” mike frowns. “because that’s her job!” abby points to you.
mike gives you a look and you shrug. “abby’s the director here. cant fight with the boss.”
mike rolls his eyes, wanting to get out of the humid blankets and sleep, but he knows how happy this makes abby. and even though abby is making him play the bad guy, he knows she means it out of love and he also loves getting to spend as much time with abby as he can. watching you act is pretty cute as well.
once abby gets bored of playing in her fort — which is like 3 hours later — she decides she wants to watch a movie.
“let’s clean up first, yeah?” mike suggests. “no! let’s keep the fort up to watch the movie!” abby says.
“abby, no. we had our fun with the fort. it’s time to turn the house back to normal,” mike says. “please say we can keep the fort up!” abby pouts as she looks up at you.
mike gives you a warning look, but you can’t say no to abby. “let’s just keep the fort up for the movie, yeah?”
abby squeals and wiggles back into the fort. mike glares at you. “she’s never going to want to take it down.”
“she will when it’s time for bed, which is hours away.” you step closer to him, gently putting your hand on his shoulder. “how about i pop some popcorn — the real stuff on the stove — and i make us some hot coca, okay?”
well, who was mike to turn down stove-popped popcorn and hot cocoa. he felt like a little kid again. it doesn’t help that you and abby’s pouty faces were ganging up on him. he sighs in defeat and nods, crossing his arms around his chest.
“fine, but after the movie, we will clean all this up, okay?”
“of course,” you nod. you turn to abby who is lit up with excitement. “can i pick the movie?”
“yep! do you want any popcorn?” you ask her. “yes. can you put m&ms in mine?” she asks. “you got it, babe,” you answer.
you three settle in the fort, abby laying on her stomach right in front of the tv. she chose “Lady and The Tramp”, which was one of her more enjoyable movie choices.
“mike, you’re kind of like the tramp,” abby comments, popping a handful of popcorn and m&ms into her mouth.
you begin to laugh but cover it up with a cough when mike shoots you a glare. “abby, that’s not very nice.”
“he knows it’s true,” she says, kicking her feet up and dangling them in the air. “And you’re like Lady.”
you glance at mike, a small smile on your face. you lean into him, your nose brushing against the scruff on his cheek. “i think what she’s trying to say is that we are perfect for each other.”
the tips of his ears turn pink. he wraps his arm around you, pulling you in so your head rests on his shoulder. “she could’ve said it differently, though.”
you giggle, “nah, i think it’s accurate.” he rolls his eyes, but there’s no denying the smile on his face and twinkle in his eye.
mike ends up falling asleep towards the end of the movie. his head rests on your chest, both arms around your waist to hold you close. your hands are in his hair, massaging his scalp while the credits roll.
“why is he so tired all the time?” abby pouts. “he works a lot,” you say. “but i’m sure he’ll wake up soon. why don’t you help me clean the fort up?”
“do i have to?” abby frowns. “i think mike would appreciate that,” you say.
“ugh, fine. but only if we can have pancakes for dinner.”
you grin and nod, “you got it.”
mike wakes up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes. he twists and turns on the floor, the sizzle of bacon him bringing him into consciousness. he begins to open his eyes, his back beginning to ache from sleeping on the floor. he hears some giggling coming from the kitchen, sitting himself up on his elbow and peering over the couch. you’re at the stove, a spatula in your hand. abby’s sitting at the table, crayons littering the wood.
“look who’s up!” you exclaim. mike groans softly as he sits up, using the couch as a crutch to stand up. “i’m sorry i fell asleep. between the rain and the pillows —”
“shush,” you cut him off. he walks over to you, wrapping an arm around your waist, his fingers tracing sliver of skin on the small of your back that’s exposed. “i ruined our day.”
“no, you didn’t. right, abs?” you turn to her. “you did snore a lot, but you didn’t,” she says. you smile at mike, “see? all is well.”
“smells good.” he mumbles as he wraps both arms around your waist, placing his chin onto your shoulder.
“me or the food?” you glance at him with a teasing smile. he takes a not-so-nonchalant inhale of your skin. “both,” he answers.
“ew!” abby grimaces behind you two. you and mike both laugh and he presses a kiss to your cheek before pulling away. he brings some plates and silverware out, sitting across from abby and waiting for the food.
mike stares as you two discuss abby’s drawing. he can’t wipe the smiles off of his face. his life was never perfect and he knew it was never going to be, but if he could just keep this — keep you two — he would then be able to call it perfect.
“mike,” abby says with a little pout. “what’s up?” he asks.
“do you have to go back to work tomorrow?” she asks. “i do, but you also have to go back to school,” he states.
“i don’t want to,” she says. mike sighs, the calmness from his body fleeting. “you don’t have a choice, abby. i’m sorry.”
“i… i just mean… i want this day to last forever.”
his eyes widen and glance up at you. you’re rubbing her back soothingly, giving him an encouraging smile.
“maybe we can do something special for dinner again tomorrow,” you suggest. “we can watch a movie and even eat dinner on the couch.”
abby’s face lights up and she nods. “okay! can i pick the movie again?”
“only if you don’t compare me to a dog again,” mike says. abby giggles and puts a forkful of pancakes in her mouth before speaking again. “we’ll see,” she quips.
mike looks back at you, placing his hand inside of yours on the table. your feet slides up his calf, your eyes soft as you look over his face. his heart warms and for the first time in a while, he feels at peace.

boyfriend drabbles (pt.15)
Tumblr media
pairing: jungkook x oc
summary: the one where jungkook almost gets into a fight with a guy for you
word count: 1k+
boyfriend drabbles masterlist!
You’re watching Jungkook happily chatting away with Mingyu, ordering another beer from the bar.
Normally you would tell your boyfriend whenever you had felt uncomfortable or uneasy in any situation, Jungkook was always there to protect you and made you feel ten times better.
But now, despite the fact that there was a man sitting afar and staring uncomfortably long at you, you couldn’t help but feel immense guilt in even thinking about asking your boyfriend to leave the club with you.
Jungkook had been putting off hanging around with his friends for a really long time, they always made plans on days that clashed with you and Jungkook’s dates. But even with telling him to go with his friends instead and that you could rearrange the date, your boyfriend was too much of a sweetheart to do so.
Jungkook had always brushed it off and said that there was always a next time to hang out with his friends, and that he preferred to hang out with you even more, but he had practically waited a whole month to simply hang out with Mingyu and the rest of his friends.
“Hi Jagi,” The voice coming from behind you jolts you from your daze, as you turn behind to meet a very concerned Jungkook.
“Hi baby,”
You try your best to force a smile on your face despite wanting to curl up into his arms and ask him to drive you home.
“Wanna head home? You seem tired, we can go back and watch a movie together,” He brushes the hair away from your face, tucking it behind your ear as he pecks your lips.
Jungkook is too much of a sweetheart, you think.
“It’s okay baby, I’m enjoying myself here, go back to your friends, when you want to leave just come here, ‘kay?”
Your boyfriend frowns, as if he can see right through you.
“Are you sure? I want to go home when you want to go home jagi,” He holds both your hands and caresses them.
“Baby I’m fine, go on,” You laugh, nudging him to walk back to his friends as he blows you a dramatic kiss.
You decide to sit at the bar, letting yourself stray away from the loud noise from people dancing with the music.
“Hey pretty,”
Your head whips up in surprise as you’re met with the same guy, smirking oddly at you as you internally cringe.
“I have a boyfriend, sorry,” You smile apologetically at him, presuming he had only good intentions with you.
“So? I can take you home pretty girl, probably satisfy you better than your boyfriend does” He laughs, making you frown and scoot your chair away from him.
What the hell.
“No thanks, I think I’m good,” You swat away his hand that inches near your seat.
“Why not, I’m probably much better than your boyfriend, bet he isn’t as jacked up as I am,”
That makes you cringe both externally and internally, goosebumps forming at your skin.
“Get the fuck away from my girlfriend,”
There’s a tattooed hand grabbing the guy’s shirt, your boyfriend’s face contorting into an angry, and very unfriendly expression.
Much different to what he was like to you a good twenty minutes ago.
“Chill, chill sorry bro,”
The guy raises his hands, looking so-not-jacked as compared to Jungkook’s tall and muscular figure that hovers above the man.
“Don’t call me bro, you disrespected my girlfriend, fucking asshole,”
Jungkook pushes the man away, releasing his grip on the shirt.
You’re expecting a very angry Jungkook to turn and face you,
Instead he has the biggest bambi eyes, hands grabbing yours as he worriedly searches you for any wounds or bruises.
“Jagi, did he do anything, are you okay?” Jungkook’s thumb brushes against your cheek, it’s as if he was a totally different person from how he was acting now.
“Kook I’m fine, he didn’t touch me, just made me a little uncomfortable,”
You grab onto his hand still searching, affirming that you were in fact not hurt, thanks to Jungkook coming to your rescue before anything escalated.
“Why didn’t you come and tell me, I would’ve protected you sooner Jagi-ah,”
You feel a pang in your chest. You feel guilty for not telling him, he seemed genuinely hurt, probably used to you always coming to him no matter how small or big the situation was.
But at the same time you knew you would have felt just as guilty if you had called him and stripped him off of his time with his friends.
“Jagi, you can tell me anything, y'know?”
Jungkook can see right through you.
“M’sorry baby, I felt so bad because you always canceled on your friends for me, didn’t want to deprive you of the one time you had a chance,”
You’re fiddling with your fingers as you look down at your lap.
“I knew something was up, even before that,” Jungkook raises your gaze with a finger under your chin.
“Jagi, if you want to go back, I would just as much love to spend time with you, probably even more than staying here for the rest of the night,”
You might cry from how sweet Jungkook was being.
You hum in response, then pecking his lips.
Jungkook’s smile is quite literally radiating, from the glow of the lights in the club and probably you being too in love with him.
“Let’s go back ‘kay? We’re watching Barbie in bed,” Jungkook grabs your hand and leads you to the entrance.
Thank goodness for your boyfriend, you wouldn’t know what to do without the man.

I am having a goddamn nightmare of a time writing the university au (mostly because I have a shit ton of work to do…for my university…lol) so have some headcanons about the most toxic couple you’ve ever met. mdni under the cut
They’re like the definition of a situationship. They’re dating in every aspect except by name
At first she does try to sleep with other guys like she did before König but that doesn’t last long, because nobody else is as good as him. She will never admit this outside of the bedroom
Meanwhile he literally calls her his girlfriend behind her back
She’s emotionally unavailable toxic, he’s obsessive and possessive toxic
König enjoys the pursuit and just thinks it’s normal for women to be difficult like this. I would say “poor König” but he has a bad habit of picking her up and carrying her places against her will so he’s not that poor
She likes to tell herself she has no attachment to him, but she loves the ego boost he gives her by acting like a lovestruck puppy and following her everywhere. She’s also secretly into him being controlling
She does have her moments of genuinely caring about him, though. She brought him lunch once and he looked at her like she hung the moon the whole day. Her excuse was that she just happened to get/make an extra portion, but she did, in fact, get him a portion on purpose
She basically lives with him after a certain point. Her roommates barely see her anymore since she only comes and goes from her old place to get things. He constantly threatens to change the locks on her, but they both know it’s an empty threat. He much prefers to punish her in sexy ways
She'll just be minding her own business talking to a classmate or perhaps flirting with someone when König will come up behind her and put his arms around her. If she was just talking to someone she'll pat his face before attempting to shoo him off. If she was flirting with someone, she wrenches him off her and storms off in a huff (whoever she was talking to has definitely fled from König's evil eye by that point)
They don't really fight, they just have spats because König is endlessly amused by her anger and she is unable to stay mad at him for long. The one time they had a real fight was nasty, and they didn't talk for days afterwards
She's usually quite a chill, go with the flow person (because if she allowed herself too much stress or anxiety at once it would destroy her), but König brings out the spitfire in her
In equal measure, König is a bit of the shy and quiet giant type, but she brings out the brat tamer in him. They alternate balancing each other out
It's kind of easy to look at them and go "why are they still doing this to themselves" but when they get along (i.e. he's behaving himself and she's not pretending not to know him) they're as functional as any other couple
This definitely goes without saying: the nastiest most bed-breaking sex. They fuck like they’re trying to murder each other
I know it's a pet peeve of many people when they say the reader is ooooo so small and delicate next to the cod men, and I tend to agree. However, unless you are also nearly seven feet tall and built like an olympic swimmer, I'm just gonna say you're smaller than König
That being said, he LOVES using his size against her. Picking her up, bending her over things, bending her in half (mating press, his beloved)
If he wants her to stay, she'll stay. He'll have one hand on her throat pinning her down, the other keeping her open to slam into her
This brat will look him dead in the eye and ask "is that all you've got?", which obviously makes him lose his mind in the best way
She definitely has more experience than he does, which actually works out in his favor: him getting better at fucking really just means he's getting better at fucking her
They're so goddamn nasty they've definitely fucked in semi-public places because she teased him to the point of madness and he popped a boner so hard it was painful
Oh, the dirty talk. König is such a gentleman outside of the bedroom, but the degradation that comes out of him while he's fucking her is toe-curling. A lot of "nobody else can fuck you like this" and "all you're good for is taking me in your tight little hole"
He growls??? I don't know if y'all have heard his voicelines in German but he snarls at her when he's trying to teach her a lesson and it turns her into putty
This post is dedicated to @kneelingshadowsalome, who is waiting for this fic so patiently and is my shining beacon of motivation at this point lol

Hannigram AU which starts with them as boyfriends already (hear me out folks) but neither of them know about the others darker desires.
Will has no idea that Hannibal is out there killing and eating people and Hannibal has no idea that Will is a little freak who would happily do that as some kind of foreplay.
Anyway we see Will working the cannibal case (basically trying to hunt down his own boyfriend) and Hannibal offers advice over dinner. It’s cute, domestic and we love that for them.
Anyway, out of nowhere this copycat appears and seems to be leaving some form of clues or messages at every scene (ya know symbolism) and Will is put on the case. The thing is Hannibal takes a little look at the file to be helpful and is intrigued because why not and know thy enemy and all that shit.
After a while though Hannibal starts to think that the killer is flirting with Will and he understandably gets pissed, he starts insisting on helping and shows up at crime scenes trying to act all chill about it.
It gets to the point that Hannibal is convinced there’s some asshole out there as obsessed with his boyfriend as he is, and obviously that’s not okay so he breaks into Will’s house and starts going through the case files.
He works out the most recent clue and uses it to track down wherever the killer might be and he shows up just in time to see Will killing some guy.
Turns out Will worked out who Hannibal was at some point (maybe follow the same trajectory of season one minus him actively dying and being a suspect) and decided instead of being normal and telling Hannibal (to be fair how does one bring that up in conversation) and just starts leaving declarations of love for Hannibal.
The whole time it was for Hannibal and he didn’t even realise and thought that someone was going to lure away his boyfriend.
And then they run away to Italy and get married. The end.
I don’t know if there’s something like that anywhere, let me know if there is because I would read the shit out of it. I would write this but I think I would be completely out of my depth and would ruin it.

chaotic, my heart is off time
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
a certain dare leads jisung to discover he may not be as straight as he thinks he is or: felix is really pretty and jisung is confused
pairing: jilix (jisung × felix)
wc: 12.2k
content: college au, fluff, smut, a little angst, they are both awkward cuties tbh, alcohol, passing mention of drugged drink. slight inexperience, extremely platonic handjobs between bros, switch!felix kinda?, sub!jisung semi-awakening, jisung has a lot of feelings that scare him, depictions of anxiety/minor panic attack, sexuality crisis, includes texting screenshots (mainly at the end)
[also read on ao3]
It's all Hyunjin's fault, really.
Jisung has nothing else to blame except his innate stupidity and the one too many drinks he had downed that are making him act even more stupid, if that's even possible.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. This whole thing is just so stupid.
That's the only thought in his head as he wanders the house of whichever classmate is hosting this party (probably one of Chan's friends, he knows everyone), searching for someone who would be down to let him give them a handjob without it being awkward or weird.
He should've known truth or dare was a terrible idea.
“Hm… I dare you to give someone a handjob,” Hyunjin had said with a smirk. “It can be anyone at the party.”
Jisung blinked. “Are you serious?”
“Dead serious.”
“But how will you even know, like…”
“I'll know,” he said simply, and gave him an unsettling look like he knew something Jisung didn't.
And that was it. Jisung was pushed out of the room, practically sent to the wolves to complete the dare before midnight. He felt like a fucked up rendition of Cinderella or something.
A handjob? Really, Hyunjin? Jisung doesn't even swing that way and yet he can't find it in himself to back down from the dare. He knows it's a problem, his inability to admit defeat when faced with a challenge. Not to say that the alcohol buzzing through his system isn't playing a part as well. It definitely is.
Jisung lightly slaps himself and mentally tells himself to get a grip, dude. It's just a handjob between bros. A totally chill and normal endeavor! He doesn't know why he's making such a big deal out of it (he's definitely done weirder things before) but something about the idea is making a weird nervous feeling creep through his system.
It's fine. It's literally not a big deal. I'm sure the guys wouldn't even mind getting jerked off, he tells himself as he continues looking around (definitely not stalling) from the corner he's found himself nestled in. Ultimately, he decides that in order to have the least awkward situation possible he should try to find someone he's friends with rather than a random stranger. He goes through his list of friends he's comfortable with.
Chan? No. God, no. Jisung cringes immediately after thinking it. Chan's like a friend, brother, and parental figure all in one to Jisung. Even if he might agree to help, Jisung does not even want to entertain the thought any longer. He shudders.
Changbin? Uh… maybe? He was there at the truth or dare game so he already knows the situation. But he was also giving Hyunjin googly eyes the entire time so maybe not. Blegh.
Minho? Jisung thinks this is probably his best bet. Worst case, his hyung will laugh at his situation and turn him down kindly. But he trusts Minho to not let it become awkward between them either way.
Still, he should probably think through his other options. Obviously not Hyunjin… Jeongin? Even though he knows he's not, Jisung still sees him as a pure, innocent kid, he can't help it. Something about it just inherently feels wrong, he's like his little brother. Absolutely not.
So then, Seungmin? Honestly Jisung isn't totally averse to the idea… but Seungmin is his roommate and he would never be able to escape if things become awkward. So, no.
He doesn't know how long he's been standing there, probably looking pretty creepy he suddenly realizes, when a hand snaps in front of his face.
He blinks. When he looks up he sees a mildly annoyed Seungmin staring at him. Speak of the fucking devil.
"That was my drink, you know."
Oh. Jisung looks down at the drink he's holding—huh, when did he grab that?—and looks back up at Seungmin with an apologetic expression.
"I was wondering where this came from, sorry Min."
Seungmin waves it off. "That's so like you to just pick up any drink. You're lucky it was mine and not, like, some random person's." He pauses. "Or drugged."
Jisung laughs nervously. "Yeah uh, you're right, I'll be more careful." He straightens up. "Thank you for sacrificing your drink for the greater good," he says solemnly with a bow.
Seungmin rolls his eyes. "Yeah sure, anytime." He pauses. "Are.. you alright though? You've been standing here spaced out for a while but you usually love to go around annoying everyone. I would know, unfortunately." Another small roll of his eyes, then tilting his head to the side, he offers a light smile. "If you want we can go home and just watch Netflix or something?"
Of course Seungmin can tell something's up. Jisung isn't always the most comfortable in larger social gatherings with people outside his immediate friend circle. He much prefers to stay in his room and binge watch YouTube videos until he passes out, something his roommate is well aware of. Jisung appreciates the concern even if that isn't the current cause of his worries.
Still, he doesn't really want to bother Seungmin with his current predicament. "Aww, is my little Minnie worried about me~? I knew you cared about meee!" Jisung drawls, draping himself slightly over the taller boy in a messy embrace.
"Shut up, oh my god you're so annoying." Seungmin pushes him away but Jisung doesn't miss the slight pull at the corners of his mouth. "Anyway, I was serious. I was gonna go bother Old Man Chan but if you wanna leave that's cool too. You seemed really out of it earlier. Just staring at this thing like it would give you life's secrets." He grabs the can from Jisung's hand and grimaces after taking a sip, muttering something about alcohol ruining the perfectly good taste of lemonade before handing it back to Jisung.
While the offer to just bail on the party and his dare is tempting, Jisung doesn't want to give up like that. His pride and dignity are on the line here. "Oh uh, I mean, it's nothing really. Just another one of Hyunjin's weird dares, I can handle it. But thanks Seungie."
He tries to give a reassuring smile but it must have come off a bit nervous anyway because Seungmin gives him a cut-the-crap look. "Okaay, but still, you never get this worked up over his dares. What did he say to do this time? I'm sure it can't be worse than that time you licked—"
Jisung's eyes widen and he immediately slaps a hand over the taller boy's mouth. "Oh my god Seungmin, we don't talk about that. That was quite possibly the worst thing I've ever done." He groans at the memory.
Seungmin laughs and pushes his hand away. "Yeah that was pretty bad. So? It can't be as bad as that right?"
Jisung bites his lip, damn it, he was hoping Seungmin would drop it. He doesn't even know why he's getting so in his head about the dare, he's sure Minho or one of the others will be fine with it once he explains the situation. What's a brojob between bros, right? Right?
Shit, Seungmin is still waiting for an answer. Should he just tell him? He's comfortable enough with him that it wouldn't be that weird. But.. he just can't bring himself to. "Hmm… I don't know. I mean it's a little weird but at least I won't have to do this one in front of other people. No public embarrassment this time if that's what you were hoping for," he says around a grin that thankfully comes naturally.
Seungmin frowns and opens his mouth to say something when he's waved over by a smiling Jeongin. He smiles back, then turns back to Jisung, who doesn't fail to notice the light dusting of pink on his cheeks. Oh? He's definitely gonna tease Seungmin for that later. "Alright, well if you're sure you're okay I'll leave you to it but you're telling me all about this later. And if it's really that bad then don't do it, okay? Hyunjin wouldn't force you to do anything if you really don't want to."
“I know… thanks,” Jising smiles genuinely. “Uh—completely unrelated—have you seen Minho hyung anywhere?”
Seungmin raises an eyebrow but shakes his head. “I heard from Chan that he left already. Something about his cats he said. Why?”
Jisung's heart sinks. There goes his only real hope. “No reason…” he shakes his head and puts on a smile again. “Um, I think your boyfriend's waiting.” He points to Jeongin with a small smirk.
Seungmin's ears turn scarlet as he sees who Jisung is pointing to. His head snaps back wildly. “My what— we're not—”
Jisung puts his hands up in surrender. “Okay, my bad, my bad… I didn't say anything.”
Seungmin narrows his eyes. “No, you didn't. Bye!” And he runs off in Jeongin's direction, leaving Jisung alone with his—well really Seungmin's—drink.
Jisung leans back into his corner, thoughts going rampant. Minho, his only saving grace, already left. What does he do now!? Obviously he knows Hyunjin would never force him into doing the dare if he's really uncomfortable, but that doesn't mean Jisung wouldn't be embarrassed for not being able to! And it's not that he doesn't want to, he's just… worried. Worried that it'll be too weird and awkward and Jisung really doesn't want to mess up any of his friendships. Not to mention his… limited experience. Sure, he has some experience with girls but with a guy? Obviously not. What if he's like, really, really bad??
Whatever! If Jisung is anything, he's not a coward. In a sudden rush of adrenaline, he tips his head back, downs the rest of Seungmin's drink, and seeing as all his friends are out of the question, he decides to walk over to the first male specimen he lays his eyes on. What could go wrong?
Oh. Of course everything could go wrong. He realizes his grave mistake when he notices the unmistakable head of blond hair in his vision. Felix. Pretty boy and literal innocent ball of sunshine.
Felix had recently transferred from Australia, and while he was super friendly whenever they talked, they weren't incredibly close. Not that Jisung doesn't want to be, it just takes him a while to warm up to new people. And they only share one class together. Still, they do talk a lot in that class, and he probably hasn't gotten comfortable with someone that fast since Minho hyung, Jisung realizes with some surprise.
But that wasn't the issue. From what he could tell (from a few truth or dare rounds from previous parties), Felix became really shy whenever the topic was even slightly sexual. He definitely wouldn't want to go along with Jisung's dare, and would probably be uncomfortable even talking about it. The last thing Jisung wants is to make anyone uncomfortable, least of all Felix.
He moves to turn around but it seems the blond has already noticed him approaching by the way he breaks out into a smile and waves. Jisung silently curses his dumb impulsiveness as he continues making his way to the other boy. It's fine. He can just act normal, talk with Felix for a bit and then go find someone else.
But when he arrives and sees Felix up close, Jisung's mind goes blank. With truly striking timing, the single brain cell he'd been clinging to all night decides to abandon him and he just stares for a few seconds.
Finally, his brain decides to award him a single staggering thought: Oh, he looks really pretty.
Felix looks back at him, bright smile still reaching his eyes, which are shimmery and lightly lined with eyeliner. And oh, Jisung is just standing here like an idiot, which he is, but god, he's really been acting more idiotic than usual.
"Uh, hey Felix!" he says and cracks a hesitant smile.
"Yo, my twin! What's up?"
Jisung laughs and immediately relaxes a little. They had found out that their birthdays are only one day apart during a lame icebreaker in class. "Just… wanted to say hi. How're you liking the party? It's only, what, your second or third one here? Chan's parties are always the best."
"It's cool! And yeah, Chris—I mean, Chan hyung's like totally awesome. At first I was intimidated by him but when I found out he's a fellow Aussie I almost cried on the spot. I definitely wouldn't have adjusted as well if not for him." Felix looks away and smiles to himself, to Jisung's relief. He was admittedly having a hard time maintaining eye contact with Felix's bright eyes constantly glittering up at him.
“I know what you mean. He's saved my life more than once.” Jisung chuckles. Then he figures he should escape before he inevitably makes a fool of himself. “Uhh, anyway I just wanted to check in and say hi but I guess I'll get going…”
“So soon? I was thinking of checking in with you actually.”
Jisung blinks. “You… sorry?”
“You've just been standing over there for the past twenty minutes or so", Felix points to the corner Jisung was lurking in earlier. "Even I know that's kinda uncharacteristic of you. I was getting worried. And then you just came speeding towards me like a man on a mission."
“You were watching me that whole time!?” Jisung all but shrieks.
“Ah, um…” Felix rubs his neck. “Not the whole time but… yeah.” He shrugs, “Sorry, is that weird? I was just worried about you.”
Jisung feels his heart swell from the kindness of this boy he's not even incredibly close with. He should make an effort to talk to him more often outside of class. “No it's… it's nothing. We were playing truth or dare and Hyunjin gave me a pretty strange dare so I've just been, y'know, thinking about how to get out of it I guess." He laughs and shrugs.
Felix hums. "Is it as bad as when Hyunjin made you lick the—"
Jisung's mouth drops open and he instinctively covers Felix's mouth with his hand. "Oh my god, Felix! How do you even know about that!?"
Felix shrugs. "Your friends seem to love telling embarrassing stories about you." Jisung feels him laugh under his hand, and his face warms when he realizes where that hand still is. He quickly pulls it back and instead uses it to bury his head in, partly to hide the red on his face and partly because he, quite simply, would like the ground to open up and swallow him whole.
The universe wouldn't be so kind as to grant him that though. Jisung would have gladly spent the next thirty minutes reliving embarrassing moments in his life (unfortunately there is no shortage of these) and wanting to die but the sound of Felix giggling tempts him to peek between his fingers.
"Don't worry, they haven't told me much else," Felix says, the teasing smile remaining on his face. "But I do know about when you publicly asked Ryujin out only for her to tell you she's a lesbian—"
"Whoa, hey!" Jisung retorts, his hands now up in the air. "Yeah, that was embarrassing but it wasn't that bad! How was I supposed to know she's not into guys? Well, okay, maybe it's pretty obvious and I'm just a dumbass but still!" Jisung pouts. "Can we not talk about my failed attempts at romance anymore?"
Felix laughs. "Sure, you never told me what crazy dare you got from Hyunjin this time,” he tilts his head curiously.
Damn, Jisung almost forgot about why he's in this situation in the first place: that stupid dare that's making his mind run in circles. “Haha, well, it’s… it's nothing.” He says oh-so eloquently.
Felix pouts. “I'm so curious now. Can’t you tell me, please?”
Jisung's heart stutters a bit at the way the other's lip juts out. Cute. “I-It's just…” he sighs. How is he supposed to say no to that face? “Um.. he dared me to… to give someone here a… a handjob…?” It comes out like a question for some reason.
Felix's eyes widen. “Oh.” He pauses and Jisung feels like he already messed things up. He's just about to change the subject when Felix speaks again. “Were you… gonna ask me..? Is that why you came up to me?” he asks hesitantly.
Jisung waves his hands around frantically. “No! No, I mean—” He cringes. “Kind of..? I kind of wasn't thinking and just went to the first person I saw, but when I recognized you I changed my mind, I swear!”
For some reason, this only makes Felix look sad. “You didn't want to because it was me..?” he asks quietly.
“I-I mean—it's just, you're—...”
“I'm what, Jisung..?” Felix looks hurt.
Jisung doesn't know what to do. He thought he was being considerate of Felix by not wanting to do this with him but Felix seems upset?? God, what did he do!?
“N-No, it's not you, I mean, it's not that I don't like you! I just figured you'd be uncomfortable or something so…”
“Oh.” Thankfully, Felix seems slightly placated. “W-Well, I'm not, so…”
Jisung blinks. “Um, you're not.. What do you mean…” he laughs nervously.
“I'm not uncomfortable. I'll let you… if you want… I don't, um, mind.”
Jisungs mouth falls open and he gapes at Felix. Surely, he misheard. “A-Are you serious?”
“Mhm…” Felix nods, his face pink.
“Um.” Jisung blinks rapidly as his brain practically short circuits at what Felix is saying. He's okay with it?! Jisung swears he must be losing his mind. This is a dream, right? There's no way he would actually agree to this. His brain suddenly conjures up images of what it would be like to touch Felix in that way. Oh my god.
Unsure if Felix notices Jisung's brain melting out of his skull, he's snapped back to reality when he hears Felix hesitantly ask, “Do you not want to..?”
“No! I mean, yes? I mean, it's just a little weird, you know? But you'd be doing me a favor I guess, so… yeah. Um, if you're sure you're okay with it?” Jisung swallows.
Felix's lips turn up slightly and he nods, effectively quelling the anxiety that had been bubbling up in Jisung's stomach. And, wow, he must be more tipsy than he thought because suddenly he thinks Felix looks even more beautiful than before.
Jisung's heart stutters inexplicably again. He nods. “Okay, let's um, go somewhere?” He grabs Felix's hand.
The two of them find an empty bedroom and Jisung locks the door behind them as they walk in.
Jisung shuffles onto the bed somewhat awkwardly, Felix joining him slowly. They sit like that for a few seconds and Jisung notices Felix fidgeting with his hands slightly.
Jisung decides to break the silence. "Um." Felix lifts his head. "You know you don't have to do this right? Like, really, really don't have to," he laughs nervously.
Felix nods, "Yeah I... I know, thanks." He gives a soft smile. "I guess I'm just a little nervous? I don't know."
Jisung bites his lip. "Have you ever..?"
Felix looks back down at his hands. “Um… a few times back in Australia but, like, not that far."
“Oh okay. You always seem so shy about the topic so I thought..”
Felix blushes slightly. “I went to a catholic school, so I'm just.. not used to talking about it so openly I guess,” he shrugs.
"Well, if it makes you feel better, I've never done this before,” Jisung admits. Felix looks up in what looks like shock. "I mean—! I mean, never with a guy. I'm uh, y'know, I'm straight."
Felix blinks for a second. He nods slowly.
"Anyway! It's not a big deal right? Are—are you sure you're still okay with this?"
“Um.. if you are.”
“Yeah, well, I'm not really the one with a choice here..” Jisung laughs.
Felix frowns. “Of course you have a choice. Why would your friend dare you to do this anyway if you're straight?? That's kinda weird.”
“Is it..? I feel like it's… I mean, it's not really a big deal. Just a brojob between bros. It doesn't have to be weird, right?”
“A bro—...” Felix coughs out a laugh. “R-Right. If you're sure.”
Jisung nods. “Yeah. Are you?
Felix nods as well.
"Okay, should I just, um," Jisung shifts so he's closer to Felix and reaches for the other's thigh. He's kind of at an odd angle though, so, without thinking much about it, he swings a leg over Felix so he's sitting in the other's lap.
Felix just stares up at him with wide eyes. Shit, did he make things too weird? "Uh.. is this okay?"
Felix blinks and clears his throat. "Yeah. You can, um, start. I'll tell you if I want you to stop," he says quietly.
"Okay," Jisung whispers, afraid to break whatever strange atmosphere has settled around the two of them.
He tried to sound confident earlier but god, he doesn't know what the hell he's doing. Unable to bear looking into Felix's eyes any longer, Jisung looks down and slowly, hesitantly slides his hand up Felix's leg and presses against the front of his jeans.
Felix lets out a huff of air so Jisung does it again, working over Felix's jeans until he's breathing heavily and Jisung can feel a more prominent bulge under his fingers.
"Um should—can I take these off?"
Felix lets out a shaky breath. "Yeah."
Jisung undoes the button and pulls down the zipper almost painstakingly slowly. He can feel the younger's eyes on him but he refuses to meet them. Once it's fully unzipped, Felix shifts and lifts his hips up so Jisung can pull his pants and boxers down.
And oh my god. Jisung didn't think that he would literally ever think this about another guy's dick but it looks almost... pretty? He just stares for a few moments, unsure of how to proceed when his head feels fuzzy with radio static.
Felix shifts nervously under Jisung's gaze. "Jisung..." It's almost a whine and fuck, since when did Felix sound that pretty? He swears his name has never sounded prettier on someone else's lips.
But shit, right, Felix is right in front of him, Jisung is basically on top of him, and he's waiting for Jisung to touch him.
So he does.
As soon as he wraps his fingers around Felix and starts to move, the younger shudders and sighs quietly. Having literally no other experience, Jisung just tries to do what does on himself. He slides his hand up and down slowly, and when he swipes his thumb over the tip, Felix lets out a little moan that prompts Jisung to look at his face for the first time since they started. And oh.
Felix's eyes have fluttered shut and his eyebrows are slightly furrowed. He's flushed, mouth hanging slightly open as he draws in shallow breaths. Jisung doesn't know what to do besides stare and keep moving his hand as he tries to commit the image in front of him to memory.
Felix bites his lip and grips the sheets when Jisung goes over the head again and holy shit, he's leaking so much. Jisung doesn't really know what he's doing but he supposes he's doing it right by the way Felix is breathing heavily through his nose, lips pressed shut. Jisung wishes he wouldn't try to be quiet.
"Felix." He looks up, and fuck, Jisung didn't think this through because now Felix is looking at him, eyes dark and heavy, and Jisung hears static again.
"Yeah? Ahh—" He moans before pressing his lips and eyes shut again.
Fuck.
"Don't—don't cover your noises."
Felix looks at him with an unreadable expression that makes him think he overstepped for a second, but then he slowly nods and complies, letting out more and more of those pretty little sounds that are making Jisung lose his mind.
On one particular stroke Felix tips his head back and cries, "Fuck, Jisung, please.."
Jisung seriously thinks he might pass out. "You're so pretty."
Felix shivers and whimpers, eyes shut tightly and Jisung literally has no clue what possessed him to say that but after seeing Felix's reaction he sure isn't planning on stopping any time soon.
"So pretty." A little noise from the back of Felix's throat. He feels like he's under a spell, words just falling out of his mouth. "S-So beautiful like this, making the prettiest sounds. Baby..."
Felix gasps into Jisung's chest, cock twitching as he lets out an embarrassed keening noise. One of his hands comes up to grasp Jisung's arm for leverage.
Until now, the hand not on Felix's cock has been just sitting on the bed, so Jisung tentatively brings it to Felix's waist. And holy fuck his waist is so small but at the same time Jisung could feel well defined abs through his shirt and how is Felix even real?
He hesitantly slips his hand under the hem of Felix's shirt, who gasps at the sudden skin contact.
"Is this okay?"
Felix nods and Jisung feels his breath catch when a small hand covers his own, guiding it further along his torso in a silent plea to keep going.
He continues to explore the expanse of Felix's body in awe as the younger drops his hand to grip at Jisung's thigh instead. He's panting heavily and letting soft moans and whimpers slip past his lips with every drag of Jisung's hands along his cock or abdomen.
Jisung trails the hand on Felix's chest higher until he slowly, experimentally brushes over his nipple. Felix arches his back into Jisung's hand and his head tips back as he moans so fucking low in his throat it really shouldn't be possible.
Jisung watches Felix shake under him as he rubs his thumb in circles over the nub before moving to the other one. He starts letting out desperate little whines, the stark contrast from his low moans leaving Jisung's head reeling.
"Fuck, fuck, I can't—m'gonna—"
Jisung takes it as a sign to redouble his efforts, stroking faster until Felix is gasping, "please please, Jisung, please," and it's all Jisung can do to stare dumbly as he moans and cums in streaks of white that slide down Jisung's hand. He works him through it, pulling his hands away once the younger's breathing has calmed down a bit.
For several seconds, they just sit there, sharing heavy breaths. Unable to meet the other's eyes, Jisung stares at his hand, covered in Felix's release. He almost wants to lick it which—okay, what the fuck. He isn't going to think about where that thought came from right now.
He takes a deep breath and grabs a tissue from the nightstand.
Felix does the same. Jisung finishes wiping his hand and looks up to see that Felix is also cleaned up, and after pulling his pants back up he hides his face in his hands.
Jisung's heart sinks. He ruined everything didn't he? "Um.. are you okay? I'm so sorry if I made you uncomfortable—"
Felix's head lifts up, eyes wide. "No! No, I mean, wouldn't it have been more uncomfortable for you? I'm just embarrassed," he says, cheeks red and looking to the side.
"Huh?? Why are you embarrassed?" Jisung says incredulously. If anyone should be embarrassed, it's Jisung for getting so wrapped up in the dare. Saying all those things to Felix, telling him to not be quiet, calling him baby?? He feels like he's on fire from embarrassment, hot and flushed all over.
"What do you mean? You're not the one who was just begging like a little bitch. Fuck, I'm so sorry." He drops his head back into his hands.
Jisung taps his chin thoughtfully. "You have a praise kink," he says observantly.
Felix flushes and gasps. "I do not! " He lunges forward and Jisung's not entirely sure what happened but suddenly he's on his back and Felix is on top of him and it feels good and he moans when the other boy presses into him, what the fuck?
What the fuck.
Felix stares down at him with wide eyes and Jisung's positive he's bright red right now. What the fuck, he's hard? Just from touching Felix? This was absolutely not part of the plan. What the fuck. He closes his eyes and desperately wishes for the soft bed covers to consume him so he would never have to face Felix or anyone ever again.
Alas, he hesitantly opens his eyes and Felix is still hovering on top of him. Why, why, why hasn't he moved yet? Jisung can't even try to run away. There's truly no escape, he'll just have to face this hell that he created for himself.
Right when he opens his mouth to sputter out an apology or something, he isn't really sure, Felix moves against him again and it just feels so good and Jisung fucking moans again.
Felix inhales sharply. "Sorry, oh my god I shouldn't have— Are you—? Fuck— Do you want me to like… Like I wouldn't mind if— Since y'know... But should I stop?" he stutters.
Jisung doesn't know what stupid sex hormones he's drunk on, or maybe he's still feeling tipsy from the lemonade earlier because he's struck with the vague and inexplicable urge to kiss the boy on top of him.
Or maybe that's just the effect Felix has on him.
"Kiss me..?" He mumbles and subsequently watches Felix's eyes widen along with his own. He slaps his hand over his mouth in horror.
"No wait, fuck, I didn't mean to say that, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so stupid—"
Now Felix's hand is the one to cover Jisung's stupid mouth and he squeezes his eyes shut both in embarrassment and a weird surge of arousal at the feeling of having his mouth covered which he is not going to think about right now.
"I.. can do that… if you really want me to?" Felix says while looking back and forth between Jisung's eyes, like he's searching for something.
Jisung's brain short circuits and he barely registers nodding or saying yes but he must have because it's all too fast how Felix is leaning down and their faces are inches apart and all Jisung can think about is how soft and pretty the other boy's lips look and is it normal to be thinking that—?
Felix kisses him sweetly, almost a little too sweetly considering the situation, and Jisung parts his lips instinctively. The kiss deepens quickly and Jisung gasps against the other's mouth when his thigh presses against the front of Jisung's pants.
"Is this okay still?" Felix asks gently. He looks so fucking ethereal above him like this it makes Jisung want to cry.
He nods. "Please don't stop."
Felix inhales shakily and nods before leaning back down, this time his lips attaching to Jisung's neck as his leg presses back against him.
Jisung can't help the noise that escapes him, he feels floaty already with just being touched through his clothes like this.
“You can.. pretend I'm a girl or something,” Felix whispers as his mouth travels down his neck. Right. Right, that's probably why Jisung is feeling this way. Felix is so pretty, almost like a girl and he must be getting confused, it's only natural, right? But for some reason Jisung really really doesn't want to imagine Felix as a girl.
“I-Is that what you did with me?” Jisung asks through a gasp as Felix bites his neck.
“Um, well, I'm bi so..” he looks up bashfully.
“Oh. Right, okay.” So Jisung's the only one who's weird here for enjoying this. Cool. He's not left much time to dwell on it because Felix's hand starts snaking down to press over Jisung's clothed dick, which at this point is embarrassingly hard and straining against his pants.
Felix toys with the button and raises his head, meeting Jisung's eyes to ask for permission. Jisung gives a little nod, nervousness and excitement bubbling together as Felix undoes the button and zipper and finally, finally, touches him for real.
Jisung hadn't realized he'd been waiting for so long.
His head falls back when Felix touches him and he's barely even doing anything yet but it feels unreal. He has the fleeting thought that maybe this is exiting platonic brojob territory and becoming something he's entirely unequipped to deal with. Maybe even since the kiss, or when he called Felix pretty, but he doesn't have the mental capacity to think too hard about it right now or even care. All his thoughts fly out the window when Felix's mouth finds his own again.
"Need you to stay quiet for me, I think I hear people outside," Felix murmurs against his lips, his voice impossibly low. Jisung hadn't even noticed he was making sounds.
"Don't want anyone else hearing you like this," Felix continues, muffling Jisung's moans with his mouth as he keeps moving his hand up and down his length slowly. Where the hell did he learn to talk like that?! The increasingly deep timbre of his voice was not doing Jisung's sanity any favors.
Felix must deem the hallway clear now because he removes his mouth from Jisung's, and Jisung is back to moaning abashedly.
“D-Does it feel good?” Felix asks, as if he's unsure of himself. Jisung squeezes his eyes shut. Is it not obvious from the way he's reacting?
“I just—wanna make sure I'm doing okay.”
“It feels—oh god—really good.”
Felix grins shyly. “Yeah?”
Jisung brings a hand up to cover his mouth and nods. He can feel himself getting close embarrassingly fast. He starts to whine and his hips stutter a bit into Felix's hand. “Please..”
Felix leans down and presses his lips to Jisung's throat again. He bites down, not enough to leave a mark but it feels dizzyingly good nonetheless. Jisung's never had someone overpower him like this before. He feels completely at Felix's mercy. It makes him shiver.
“Jisungie, you're so…” Felix murmurs into his skin, lips trailing along his collarbone.
Jisungie. His heart wobbles at the nickname and he can't help but whine. Felix is driving him insane. “Felix I think I'm—aahh, Felix, Lix..”
He pulls away from Jisung's neck with a smack. “Yeah, Sungie?”
“C-Can you—..” he looks at Felix's lips pleadingly.
Felix immediately presses his lips to his in a passionate kiss. Jisung moans into it and before he can properly warn Felix or anything, he's cumming with a high pitched keen. If he were more aware of himself he'd be embarrassed by the noise but as it is he can't even feel his legs properly. He shakes as Felix brings him down from his high. Then they just stay there, breathing heavily against each other's mouths.
Felix moves first, taking a deep breath before leaning up and away from Jisung. He peers down at him with bated breath. Jisung just lays there, hair fanning out around him. He feels sluggish, entirely spent and he stares back at Felix like a real angel descended from heaven. He seriously wouldn't be surprised if he actually were.
His trance is broken by Felix's voice, “Are you okay?”
Jisung blinks as he registers the words. He nods and slowly sits up. Felix offers him a small smile.
Once they've cleaned up, the euphoric feeling in Jisung's gut starts slowly transforming into a deep rooted anxiety that crawls its way up his spine. Fuck. What did they just do? What the fuck is happening to him? He feels himself shrinking away from the other boy instinctually, but he catches himself and clears his throat, attempting to straighten up.
“Um.. are we bros now?” He tries to joke, but his laugh sounds forced even to him.
Felix's lip quirks up for a second but he looks at him carefully. “Is that what you want? To be bros?”
Jisung opens his mouth to say something like of course bro or yeah what else? But his throat closes up. A sudden, inexplicable feeling of fear creeps into his gut.
“Jisung?”
He feels like he's suffocating, almost choking on air as he tries to get words out. “I— I don't know what... what I want. I'm so confused right now, I…”
“Hey, it's okay—”
“N-No! No, it's not. I'm sorry, I can't—” He shakes his head and leans away from Felix. He can't shake the sinking feeling that something is very, very wrong with him. How could he let this whole thing happen? Why is he feeling like this? He feels like a fraud of himself. He doesn't know what to do, he can't even process his feelings. He just knows he needs to get away from here, now.
He stands up quickly. Felix reaches for him but he's already crossing the room in long strides. As he twists the doorknob, he glances back to see Felix sitting with a hurt and confused expression before he shuts the door behind him.
Fuck. Jisung still can't breathe. He feels like it's only getting worse now that he's out in the open where people could see him. At least the hallway is currently empty, and he stumbles down it, not sure where he's going but just needing to get away.
He staggers into an empty room. At least, he thought it was empty, but as he crosses the doorway he's met with a pair of familiar eyes on a head of long blond hair.
“Hyunjin,” he says wobbly.
Hyunjin's eyes go wide when he sees the shaky state Jisung is in. “Jisung? What's wrong?”
That's when Jisung breaks down. Tears start streaming down his cheeks in rivulets. “I h-hate you! Why'd you make me do that??”
“Whoa, hey…” Hyunjin reaches for him and pulls Jisung to sit beside him. “I'm so sorry, Sung… Please calm down and tell me what's going on?”
“The dare, you idiot. I did your stupid dare!”
Understanding and a flash of regret click in Hyunjin's eyes. “...Ah.”
“Everything was fine. Now everything is.. I don't even know.” Jisung cries, pressing his hands into his eyes.
Hyunjin rubs his back soothingly. “Okay, shh, let's calm down first… So you did the dare? Can I ask who you did it with?”
Jisung sniffs as he tries to calm his breathing. “It was F-Felix.”
“Fe-lix?” Hyunjin repeats. “The kid from Australia?” Jisung nods. “Oh, Jisung…”
“I-It's your fault! You dared me, and then you were all like ‘I'll know if you don't do it’. What the hell!”
“God, I'm sorry Jisung. I wasn't thinking… I was just being dramatic, I'm not omniscient. How would I know if you did it or not?”
“I don't know, you just…”
Hyunjin sighs. “Okay, let's relax. First, did he hurt you? I'll kick his beautiful, angelic ass if he did anything to you.”
Jisung cracks a smile in spite of himself and shakes his head.
Hyunjin's face softens. “Then what happened..?”
“I… I don't know, he made me so… confused..”
One of Hyunjin's eyebrows lifts. “...He made you confused,” he deadpans.
“Like… like…” Jisung grips his hair. “God! I don't even know! Am I normal? I don't feel normal. I think something's wrong with me. I.. I don't understand what's happening.”
Hyunjin wipes the tears on his cheeks. “Why do you think something’s wrong with you?” he asks gently.
“Th-there's— I— I think I liked it too much,” Jisung whispers.
“You liked what? …touching Felix?”
Jisung cringes. “Y-Yes, which is so weird already, but then he— you don't understand, he also— touched m-me, and I liked it, so much, like— which is so weird— it scares the shit out of me— I a-asked him to kiss me, like, like a psychopath or something, he probably thought I was so creepy b-but he was so nice and so pretty and… I don't know what to do… Hyunjin I feel like I'm— like this isn't normal.”
Hyunjin just presses his lips together and nods, encouraging Jisung to continue.
“Like… like… he's a guy. Like yeah, he's objectively pretty but he's… he said to pretend he was a girl but I didn't, I don't think I even wanted to, but, like, I'm—I'm straight, right? I mean… I mean, yeah, it's not like I suddenly— I like girls! I know I like girls so why… like I shouldn't enjoy t-touching another guy right? That's…” Jisung shakes his head with wide, teary eyes. “I'm not like, gay.”
Hyunjin winces but he looks at him with something akin to pity. “Ouch dude, you know I'm gay, right? You're not… broken or anything, I promise this is normal Jisung.”
Jisung sighs into his hands. “Fuck. I know. God, I-I’m sorry, I didn't mean it like that… I just mean like.. there's no way I'm… like shouldn't I have known by now? I'm not, like a teenager anymore. I just.. I like… girls… it doesn't make sense, why is this happening now?”
“It's okay, you can still like girls, you can like both. Even if you don't, that's still okay. Okay? It's not… there's not a predefined time when you realize this stuff. Some people live their whole lives in denial. This is normal. You're normal.”
Jisung nods. “R-Right, of course I can still like girls. So, maybe I'm like… bisexual or something? But honestly I've never—” He presses his fingers against his eyelids. “I mean, I don't think— but maybe? N-No I've never... But it's not like I see Felix as a girl, I mean, I touched his dick a-and he— his voice is like… crazy, I don't even know— B-But I've definitely never liked boys before so how would I suddenly—?”
Hyunjin rubs his shoulders. “It's okay. You don't have to figure it all out right now. Take your time. I'm here for you, okay?”
“I'm scared, Hyunjin,” he whispers.
Hyunjin's face breaks and he sighs. “I know. I'm sorry. I think I gave you that dare so you'd have an awakening or something but that was stupid. I didn't think… I hate seeing you like this.”
“Wha—... huh?? So you knew I'm maybe not super straight even before this?!”
Hyunjin bites his lip. “I didn't really know. I just had a feeling. And honestly, I wasn't expecting you to actually do it.”
Jisung's jaw drops, momentarily forgetting his anxiety. “You weren't expecting me to— Hyunjin! How could you think so low of me!”
“Okay, sorry! I shouldn't have dared you to do that knowing you'd be crazy enough to actually do it.” Jisung hits his arm. “It was more just to get you thinking about it!”
“You're crazy.”
“I'm smart. My gaydar is never wrong,” he taps the side of his head. “And I clocked you the day we met but you said you were straight... I was probably too tipsy earlier and figured I'd test you a little. That's all. I'm really sorry. I feel terrible for causing you this much stress.”
Jisung sighs. “It's okay. I just can't believe— how did you know? None of this makes sense…”
Hyunjin shrugs. “Like I said… I'm smart.” Jisung hits him again. “Okay, okay! But maybe this is good? Learning things about yourself?”
Jisung swallows. “Right… learning things…” he sighs. “I just—I screwed it up with him didn't I? I ran away. I just left him there.”
“You didn't screw it up. You're literally having a full blown identity crisis! He'll understand if you explain it to him.”
“But, what if he doesn't want to listen, or he already hates me, or… you should've seen his face when I left, oh god, I'm a horrible person—”
“Shh. Jisung. Do you like him?”
Jisung's face burns. “T-That's— I don't—”
“I mean, do you care about him? As a friend?”
“Of course,” Jisung pouts.
“Then you should talk to him. I wouldn't be surprised if he's still here. Just explain what happened, that you're going through a lot but you don't hate him. Right?”
Jisung nods. “Right, I—You're right. I don't want him to think that I find him gross or something, oh my god.”
“He's probably just confused too. Don't worry. Do you want me to come with you?”
“No, I… I think I'm okay now. Thanks though.” He stands up and touches his face. “D-Do I look like I've been crying?”
Hyunjin smiles sympathetically. “A little, but he'll understand. Go before he leaves!”
Jisung nods and runs for the door. He pauses there and turns around.
“Hyunjin?”
“Hm?”
“I'm sorry for yelling at you.”
He waves him off. “It's okay, I kind of deserved it I think. We're good, okay? Now, go!”
Jisung doesn't need to be told twice. He's out the door in seconds and practically sprinting his way back to the room he left Felix in.
“...God, it's so hard being right all of the time,” Hyunjin sighs.
Felix isn't there.
The room is empty. Felix isn't here.
Oh god. What if he already left and he's avoiding him and Jisung will never be able to talk to him and Felix will think he hates him and—
He takes a deep breath. He shouldn't jump to conclusions. He has Felix's number, he should just text him. He pulls out his phone.
Tumblr media
He paces around the room as he waits for his phone to light up. After a few minutes of nothing he sends a couple more messages and sighs. Maybe Felix is still at the party somewhere? Should he look for him?
Yeah, he decides, he needs to talk to Felix and make sure he's okay. Make sure they're okay. He can't stand the thought that Felix might think he hates him. It couldn't be farther from the truth.
Jisung paces out of the room and begins scouring every room for the familiar head of blond hair. But he's nowhere to be seen. Jisung tries not to cry. He's just about to loop around to where he started when he's stopped by a hand on his shoulder. He jumps. Felix?
“Jisung? Are you okay?” No, of course it's not. Jisung turns to face the familiar voice.
“Seungmin,” he breathes shakily.
Seungmin gently places both hands on Jisung's shoulders. “What happened? You look frantic. What's going on?”
That's it. Jisung breaks down in tears. Again. He hates crying in front of another one of his friends but he can't help himself right now.
Seungmin looks alarmed. “Did someone do something? Are you hurt?” Jisung shakes his head. Seungmin sighs in relief. Then, his eyebrows draw together. “Wait, does this have to do with that dare?”
Jisung hesitates, before nodding.
Seungmin exhales. “Okay, we're leaving, okay? You can tell me about it on the way home if you want. Or not, but I don't think this place is very conducive to your wellbeing right now.”
Jisung nods and lets Seungmin guide him through the halls and crowds until they're outside. And he's right. As soon as he steps out of the claustrophobic walls he feels like he can breathe easier again. He sighs and wipes the last of the tears off his face.
Seungmin lets go of his hand. “You feeling better?” he asks.
“Yeah. Thanks, I.. guess I needed to get out of there.”
Oh, right. He should text Felix and let him know he's leaving, just in case he really is still at the party somewhere. He pulls out his phone. Seungmin looks at him, a question clearly painted on his face, but he stays quiet.
Tumblr media
Jisung sighs after hitting send and stuffs his phone in his pocket again. Seungmin looks at him searchingly. “What happened…?”
Jisung bites his lip. His immediate instinct is deflect, deflect, deflect, but he really should tell Seungmin. He deserves to know. Jisung explains the whole situation on the way back to their dorm, from the dare to his conversation with Felix, to his panic in the aftermath and talk with Hyunjin. Seungmin listens quietly, intently. Jisung leaves out the details of what actually happened with Felix, but it's hopefully enough for Seungmin to get the picture.
When Jisung finally finishes, Seungmin blows out a long puff of air, his cheeks puffing up. “Wow. I don't even… Damn. That's crazy.”
Jisung leans his head back and groans with his hands over his face. “I know. What do I even do now?”
“Flee the country.” Seungmin says matter of factly. Jisung huffs out a laugh. “Sorry. I'm shit at giving advice. But I know Felix. He doesn't seem like the type of person who wouldn't at least hear you out, you know? Don't stress too much.”
“Then why is he ignoring me??” Jisung frowns.
“There's so many possibilities, dude. He might be feeling equally as overwhelmed right now or his phone could be dead or he might just not have checked yet. It hasn't even been that long. Give him time.” Seungmin, ever the voice of reason.
“Yeah… yeah, you're right. I'm just—I don't know. I don't even know.”
“I'm always right.” Seungmin, ever the voice of arrogance. “It'll be fine, Jisung.”
“Okay… Just know, if you're wrong I will come crying to you.”
Seungmin's lips curl up. “I'm always right. But okay, sure.” He pauses. “Honestly, I'm surprised you even did the dare, I even gave you an easy escape and everything.”
Jisung lets out a loud sigh. “I don't even know, man. Maybe a part of me, like, wanted to… I'm so confused about everything to be honest.”
Seungmin hums. “This is kind of life altering shit you're going through. You're handling it pretty well, all things considered.”
Jisung's looks at him, lips forming an ‘o’. “You think?”
He nods, “I think I'd have broken down or something by now if it were me.”
“I'm—well, I'm trying not to. I guess I went through most of the whole breakdown freakout thing with Hyunjin. I'm just trying not to think about it too hard right now I guess.”
“That's fair. Don't rush it. Uh, and I'm here if you ever wanna... talk or whatever,” Seungmin waves his hand around.
Jisung smiles. “Thanks, Min. Seriously.”
“Yeah, yeah…” he says but he mirrors his smile.
The next morning, Jisung wakes up feeling more refreshed than he expected. He doesn't feel great, but at least he doesn't feel like his whole life and everything he thought he knew about himself is turning upside down like yesterday. That's something.
As much as he was glued to his phone last night, waiting for a message from Felix, he doesn't want to check his phone right now, scared of what he might (or might not) see. Everything feels more real now, outside of the illusionary haze of last night, and he's just not ready to face anything yet.
Instead, he busies himself with mindless tasks, like brushing his teeth and pouring a bowl of his favorite hangover cereal. He's not even hungover, he didn't drink that much, but he just needs that extra emotional support right now. It helps, he thinks.
Eventually, he has to face reality. His phone looms at him from his bedside table, facedown but glaring at him. Jisung sighs and reluctantly picks it up.
He cringes a little when he sees the multiple notifications from his messenger app. There's a text from Seungmin saying he's out studying with a friend but to let him know if he needs anything. Studying the morning after a party? Nerd. But Jisung smiles at the kind gesture and types out a quick reply saying thanks but he'll be fine.
And.. there's a little number by Felix's contact name too. He doesn't even want to open it. He wants to crawl back into bed and hide for the rest of the day. He wishes this had all happened yesterday when he was still in the moment and running on adrenaline.
But this is a good thing! Felix isn't ignoring him. This is good. Jisung takes a deep breath and clicks into the message.
Tumblr media
He breathes out slowly. Okay.. Felix doesn't seem angry? He wants to meet up at least. Or what if he's just waiting until they're in person to unleash everything and tell Jisung to never talk to him again? God, he can't tell.
He doesn't want to respond. Okay, no, he needs to respond. He's the one who texted first anyway. Fuck, this is scary though.
He takes another deep breath to steady himself before carefully typing out a reply.
Tumblr media
Jisung's heart races when Felix's reply comes in within only a couple minutes. Thank god Felix doesn't seem creeped out at coming over. Jisung quickly agrees to the time and texts Felix his dorm and room number.
Then he waits. After sufficiently freaking out for an hour, stress cleaning and everything, Jisung hears a knock at the front door. Oh fuck. He's so not ready.
Regardless, he trudges over to the door. He takes a deep breath before unlocking and opening the door.
Felix is standing there, bundled up for the chilly weather in a jacket but also sporting a pair of loose ripped jeans, which Jisung thinks is pretty contradictory. How are you gonna put so many layers on and then just have holes in your pants? How does that make sense? One hole above the knee is large enough that Jisung can literally see the outline of Felix's thigh.
“Um… hi…” Jisung's eyes snap up. Wait, what was he even doing just now? He wasn't like… checking Felix out or something, right? No, that's absurd. Felix's torn up pants are absurd, and that's all he was thinking. About his pants. His jeans.
“Hi,” Jisung replies awkwardly. Why is this so awkward? They haven't even said anything yet. God. “Sorry, um, come in?” He gestures and holds the door open.
Felix murmurs a soft “thanks” as he cautiously steps inside and looks around a bit.
“Um, thanks for coming…” Jisung starts. “Seungmin— my roommate isn't here right now. But we can go to my room if you want?”
Felix's eyes suddenly light up. “Seungmin? Kim Seungmin? Tall, funny, braces?”
Jisung blinks. “Yeah, what? You know him? Wait, you think he's funny?” He wrinkles his nose.
“Yeah! Well, maybe at my own expense… We're partners in this cooking class I'm taking.”
Jisung starts walking and leads Felix in the direction of his room as his eyebrows furrow. “A cooking—? No way. Seungmin can't cook.”
Felix giggles. “Oh, I know. I swear it's actually contagious or something because suddenly I start forgetting basic things like how to use a mixer just by being near him. I think it's a curse.”
Jisung laughs, eternally grateful for the lighthearted shift in the atmosphere, the tense and awkward air dissipating. Talking with Felix is just like that, so easy. “Yeah, I keep him out of our kitchen for his own good. I had no idea he was taking a cooking class though, what the hell?”
Felix hums. “Maybe he's trying to improve?”
“Or he's just trying to cause chaos. And from what you said, it seems like it's working.” Jisung shakes his head as they step into his room.
“Maybe…” Felix mumbles, but his focus has shifted elsewhere. He takes in Jisung's room, seeming to observe every visible corner: anime posters on the wall and an acoustic guitar in the corner and the stuffed animals on his bed. Jisung blushes, suddenly grateful for his stress-induced tidying of every nook and cranny. He hadn't realized how intimate it can be letting someone new into his space like this. This is Felix's first time in his room.
Felix. In his room. Why does it feel weird?
It doesn't, does it? Jisung is the only one making it weird. It's not weird for friends to hang out in each other's rooms. That's literally extremely normal. But still… Jisung usually waits until he's way closer with people before letting them in his room. He can't place the anxious feeling swirling in his gut.
“I like your room,” Felix says softly. “It's like how I imagined.”
“W-What does that mean??”
“It's a compliment! It's very you.”
“Okay well… thanks,” Jisung mumbles. Has Felix really imagined his room before? How close are they that Felix knows enough about Jisung to think it's very him? He pushes the thoughts aside.
“So…” He sighs. Here comes the awkward again. But he can't avoid this forever. “Can we talk?”
Felix nods. “…‘Course,” he says, leaning against the bed slightly. Jisung motions for him to sit down on it and follows suit, since there isn't much else seating in his room. “If you want to!” he stutters out but Felix just smiles and sits down on the bed. On Jisung's bed. Okay, cool, this is fine.
They face each other. “So….” Jisung starts, looking down at his hands in his lap. “I just wanted to apologize. I mean, I feel like we were acting pretty normal just now, and I'm really grateful for that, but you still deserve like, I don't know, an explanation? Or something? So yeah.”
Felix nods silently.
Jisung takes that as his cue to continue. “Right, so, yesterday, it was a dare, right? That wasn't a lie. Me and Hyunjin actually like, talked about it afterwards and we're cool by the way. Just in case you thought—well, I don't know. I don't know what I'm saying. Um…” He takes a deep breath. “I mean, you were really nice about the whole thing and then I just left… kind of suddenly. That was really mean. I… I mean, you looked hurt too. Which, like, fair. That was a dick move. Um…”
Felix's voice is gentle, “Okay, hey, I get it, I'm not actually mad—”
Jisung finally looks up. “But you should be. Y-You're not mad? I would be mad. I mean, maybe not mad but confused? Frustrated? I— I kind of feel like it came across like I was… using you or something. I don't know. But that's not… Honestly I'm just really confused right now because—”
“Stop.”
Jisung blinks. “What?”
“Stop, I… I want to apologize too.”
“For what?!”
“For agreeing to it! I shouldn't have cus I…” He shakes his head. “And I kind of pushed you to tell me about the dare. You didn't seem comfortable. And I definitely should've stopped when you said you're straight... I-I was selfish.”
“Selfish?” Jisung repeats. “What?”
Felix sighs. “I agreed cus I was being selfish… Just, selfish reasons. I shouldn't have.”
“What does that even…? Dude, you're not selfish, if anyone is it's me for basically roping you into doing that for me and then leaving you high and dry like…”
Felix shakes his head. “That's not… you don't get it. I am selfish. Even being here right now… Selfish. Stupid.”
Jisung can't even begin to comprehend how that makes sense. “What…?”
“Jisung… Fuck, fine — I-I like you.”
“You like me?” Jisung mimics.
“…Yeah.”
Then it clicks. “Wait, oh. You like… like, like me?”
“...Well, that's good. I was worried it was super obvious for no reason.”
Jisungs mouth must be hanging open. “I... Are you serious?”
Felix laughs nervously. “Does it seem like I'm joking?”
“N-No but… I don't know. Oh my god. Shut up, I'm freaking out.”
“I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything, I know you're straight—”
“That's the thing. I'm not— Just, just, wait a second, oh my god. Oh my god.”
“Jisung…” Felix bites his lip. “I'm sorry, we can just pretend I never said that and go back to normal, please, I promise.”
Jisung puts his hands over his face. “No, shut up… shut up, just wait a second, please. Please just wait.”
Jisung can't see him but Felix at least goes quiet and Jisung can think. He breathes for a few seconds. In and out. In and out.
“…I think I like you too. Like, like like you… so much. Like way more than just bros. But I don't know what that fucking means.”
Jisung's heart is beating out of his chest. He hears a catch of breath. Silence. Then a soft whispered, “What do you mean Jisung, are you sure?”
“Yes, I mean, no, but— I feel something, and this isn't normal, so—”
He feels gentle fingers pulling at his wrists. “Jisung, look at me.” He lets Felix pull his hands down off of his face, which he's sure must be burning red. “It's okay. I don't want you to like… pity me or something. I'm really okay even if you don't like me like that.”
Jisung shakes his head. “N-No, I'm not pitying you Felix, I swear. I really, really—” He swallows. “Even like, your hands just on my wrists right now, making me feel like— I- I don't know,” he breathes.
Felix immediately drops his wrists. “I'm sorry,” he says genuinely.
But that's not what Jisung wanted. “No! I liked it.” He reaches for Felix's hands and interlaces his fingers in his, immediately setting off butterflies in his stomach. “I like this..”
Felix swallows and squeezes his hand a little. “But anyone can like holding hands with anyone, that doesn't mean—”
“But it's not just that. We— Felix, we kissed. I… asked you to kiss me. Did you forget that? And we did… m-more obviously. I liked it.” The more Jisung tries to explain to Felix the more he feels like he's understanding and accepting his own feelings. “That's why I ran away. I was so… confused and.. and scared I guess, cus.. I've never felt… with a guy.”
“I didn't forget,” Felix whispers. “I believe you. I know it's scary. I-I went through it too. Just— Are you sure? I really… I don't wanna get my hopes up if…”
“Can I kiss you?” Jisung blurts out. “Then I'll be sure. I… You can definitely say no.”
Felix closes his eyes and looks to be in some kind of mental anguish for a few seconds. “Yes, okay…” he breathes.
Jisung squeezes the other's hand, still interlaced with his own. He leans in a little. “A-Are you sure?” he asks quietly.
“Yes, yes, please…” Felix says under his breath while leaning in a little as well. That's all Jisung needs before he's closing his eyes and swooping in to close the distance between them.
It's like magic. Right at the moment their lips press Jisung has his answer. His stomach flips and it feels so different from last night where he was letting Felix have control. He keeps it going for a little longer, not really moving his lips but just pressing into the kiss for a few more seconds, relishing in the way it feels.
When he finally pulls away, Felix's eyes are closed, forehead drawn in as if he's the one going through a crisis right now.
“Felix?”
“What? Please don't say you were wrong. I mean… I mean, of course that's fine but—”
“Felix. I liked it… Oh wait, so I actually like you? Oh my god—”
Felix's eyes fly open. “You really…? You're serious?”
Jisung nods, eyes equally as wide as his.
“Are you sure? Yesterday I can get over, but this feels too real. I don't think I can handle if— I mean, god, sorry, I know you're figuring things out but—”
“Yes. Well, I— I'm still confused about other things but… I'm pretty sure—I mean this feels pretty much exactly like when I have a crush on a girl. So..?”
“Okay. Okay, sorry. It's not that I don't believe you, I just—I really wasn't prepared for this. But I get it, really.” He takes a deep breath in and out. “So you… you really like me? Really, really?”
Jisung nods shyly. “Um.. really, really. I think more than I realized.”
Felix blushes. “Right, so… I mean, I don't want to be too forward but..? And maybe you're not ready and that's totally okay. But do you wanna..? I mean if we both like each other then… doesn't it make sense if we…”
Jisung squeezes his hand encouragingly. “What are you trying to say?”
“I'm saying—and again, you can say no if this is too fast—but I'm saying… Do you want to… try being my boyfriend…?” He peeks up at Jisung nervously.
Jisung's heart stutters in his chest. He doesn't really have to think about his answer. Even if his brain is telling him it's a little scary, his heart is giving him an answer clear as day. “Yes, y-yes, I want that… to be your… boyfriend.”
Felix flashes a shy, relieved smile. “Yeah?”
“Y-Yeah. Oh my god, a boyfriend. You're my boyfriend? I have a boyfriend?” Jisung presses his hands against the sides of his face, squishing his cheeks.
Felix giggles a little. “Mhm, that's okay right? It feels okay?”
“Yes, I like it, it's a little weird but I really like how that sounds. A boyfriend. My boyfriend.”
Felix blushes. “Ah, stop saying it like that, it's embarrassing…”
Jisung shakes his head. “Can I kiss you again?”
Felix smiles and responds in the form of crashing their lips together. Jisung gasps. It's more intense than the one they previously shared but still very sweet and gentle. Felix's lips are so soft.
Jisung tilts his head to deepen the kiss. “I like you so much,” he mumbles against Felix's mouth between kisses. “Maybe for a while… I always… wanted you to like me… tried to impress you…”
Felix makes a quiet sound and suddenly Jisung feels wetness on his cheeks. “Are you…? Felix?” Jisung pulls away, and sure enough, there are tears pooling under Felix's eyes. Jisung looks at him with concern. “What's wrong?”
Felix ducks his head but smiles, and it's enough to quell Jisung's worries that he did something wrong. “S-Sorry—God, this is embarrassing. I-I don't know why I'm crying. I'm really happy, I promise.”
“Okay. Don't worry about it.” Jisung gently grabs Felix's face and wipes the tears from his cheeks. As he presses the skin below his eyes, an array of tiny dots start appearing, speckling his face. Jisung furrows his eyebrows. “Huh—? Do you have freckles..?”
The skin under his fingers turns pink and Felix squirms his head out of his grasp. “Nooo…”
Jisung gently grabs his face again. “No, let me see, please.” He swipes his thumbs along the other's cheeks, smudging more makeup away.
Felix sighs and seems to relent. “I don't like them…” he mutters.
Jisung is appalled. “Are you serious? Why not?”
Felix shrugs. “I dunno, just looks.. messy? And no one else here has them,” he says with a frown.
Jisung shakes his head. “They're so pretty. You're so pretty. How could you hide these? God, it's like everything little thing about you is so pretty, how is that even possible??”
“Stoooop,” Felix giggles, blushing bright red now. “They're not.. I'm not…”
“You are. You literally turned me gay or something,” he jokes. “That has to count for something.”
Felix laughs, but then his expression turns more serious. “Did I really—? I mean, you think you're gay?”
“Uh—No, I just said that. I don't know. I'm still so fucking confused,” Jisung tries to laugh it off nervously.
Felix nods. “If you wanna talk about it… no pressure of course, but I kind of went through something similar so… just, I'm here for you.”
“Thank you,” Jisung whispers. “Well, I-I think I've been trying not to think about it too much. It's scary,” he admits.
“I know. You're really brave, you know Jisung? It took me like, months—years even?—before I understood and accepted myself.”
“Yeah, but I'm sure that was years ago, right? Why is this happening to me now? Like… I've always liked girls. I don't think that's… yeah, I definitely still like girls. That's all fine. But I've literally never liked boys until now?” Jisung sighs. “Well—maybe—maybe not. I've been thinking, and like, I guess there were guys that I… really admired and… I really wanted them to like me too. To think I'm cool or funny or something. And like, yeah, I felt nervous around them, but I just kind of thought they were intimidating. But maybe…? Is that..? Were those crushes?”
Felix grabs his hand and squeezes it gently. “Maybe. It kind of sounds like it.” He pauses. “Even if they weren't, and I'm the first guy you like, that's okay too. Honestly, that would be hella flattering,” he smiles. “I don't think sexuality is like... It isn't such a rigid thing. It can be more fluid for some people, you know? It's not just black and white. If your feelings are real then that's all that matters, yeah?”
“Y-Yeah. It's just weird. I'm like so past that stage. Why didn't teenage me figure this out?” He huffs out a laugh.
“There's no set timeline for this stuff. It happens differently for everyone, right? And if you don't want to think about it right now you don't have to. You can just like whoever feels natural for you. No need to think about what box you fit into or anything like that.”
“I think I just like you,” Jisung whispers.
Felix's lips quirk up. “Yeah? That's so cute.”
Jisung is sure his face goes red. “Sh-shut up…”
“Never,” Felix grins. “No, but it's okay. You don't have to label yourself, now or ever. You don't have to be gay, or straight, or bi, or... or anything in between. You can just… be, and that's enough.”
Jisung feels tears prick his eyes. He really has no clue why he's getting emotional over this, but somehow Felix is saying exactly what he didn't know he needed to hear. “Okay, but what about Felixsexual?” He jokes.
“Pfft— then I'm Jisungsexual, okay?”
Jisung's heart feels lighter than it's ever been. He giggles. “Okay.”
After calming down, and both their tears are wiped away, the two of them spend a couple hours just talking and cuddling, making up for what feels like so much lost time. Seriously, why didn't they become closer friends sooner? Jisung mentally kicks himself for not being more proactive in befriending him. They click so well. Jisung is so glad Felix seems to love skinship as much as he does, they both initiate it easily and it just instantly feels natural. So easy, just like everything between them.
Eventually, they move to the living room to watch something. After only just a few minutes of scrolling through Netflix, the front door opens. Jisung looks up.
“Oh, hey Seungmin. How was your study sesh?”
“Hey. Uh, fine. Is this a bad time…?” Seungmin asks, glancing at Felix and looking at Jisung curiously.
“No, it's a great time. Seungmin, say hi to my, uh, boyfriend..?” Jisung falters saying that to someone else for the first time and it comes out like a question.
Seungmin doesn't seem to notice, or if he does, he doesn't care. “Oh, so you worked it out? I'm glad. Congrats.” He turns to Felix. “I'm Seungmin.”
Felix laughs. “Dude, I'm insulted. I thought we were mates? Does being stove partners mean nothing to people these days?”
Seungmin cracks a smile. “I don't know what you're talking about.”
Jisung jumps up in his seat. “Oh yeah! Seungmin, you're taking a freaking cooking class? Who are you??”
Seungmin shrugs. “I had extra space in my schedule.”
Felix sighs. “I wish I had extra space. I would take another class with Jisung.”
“Aww, what?” Jisung looks at him fondly.
“Seriously. Why do we only have one class together? How am I gonna handle that now that we're together?”
Jisung giggles. “If you had extra time wouldn't it be better to just spend time together and not take an extra class, silly?”
“Oh yeah, I guess. Are you sure you'd be okay with that Sungie?” Felix grins and nuzzles his head into Jisung's shoulder, cuddling into him playfully.
Sungie? Oh, Jisung's done for. He giggles again and kicks his feet (like a fucking schoolgirl or something, embarassing). “Only if you promise to binge watch my favorite animes. And make cookies with me!”
Seungmin makes a gagging sound. “...Ugh, I take back everything I said. You two together are more energy than I can reasonably tolerate. Goodbye.” He throws his hand up in a wave and starts walking to his room. He pauses in his doorway and turns around. “Oh and please for the love of god, no funny business when I'm here. I'm happy for you but not that happy.”
Jisung turns red and he hears Felix choke on air. “Seungmin!”
“What? You already did stuff and you weren't even dating yet. I can't trust you guys.”
Jisung throws a cushion at him. “Didn't you say bye already? Bye!!”
Seungmin rolls his eyes and throws up a peace sign before turning around and closing his door.
Jisung glances at Felix, who's equally as red-faced. They stare at each other for a few seconds before both breaking out into giggles.
Yeah, Jisung thinks he'll be alright.

What if a teen reader ACCIDENTALLY came out to the TF2 mercenaries? "came out" meaning generally queer in sexuality. the teen would be worried and anxious afterward because they don't want the mercs to hate them for it. (this is based on myself as a girl-loving girl but it can be written for any gender)
you ask, you finally receive. Might start cutting requests down. idk, I feel like writing for some reason. Who knows how long that's gonna last, though.
also, REQUESTS ARE OPEN, just be aware that i might not get it out for a long, long time because motivation works weirdly😇
Mercs with a queer reader (PART 1)
Scout, Engineer, Medic
Warnings : fear of being rejected, swearing, a couple of hcs, medic is his own warning
Tumblr media
Being queer is hard. And being able to not tell anyone (if you're like me and wanna live comfortably) is hard too.
The way they find out is if you got really cosy with them, and I'm talking being invited to Engie's barbecues, Spy letting you smoke one of his fancy ass cigars, and Scout tossing balls to you and acting like an older brother towards you kind of cosy.
So, one day, you accidentally let it slip during a conversation at dinner, having gotten way too comfortable.
Everyone except Medic and Spy was there, choosing to skip to do "work" instead. Your words quieted the whole damn room.
Whatever you did next is up to you. Whether you took it on proudly and kept eating or walked off to your bedroom to cry, up to you.
Reactions
Scout
Scout's unfamiliar with queer people. He didn't know any, and he wasn't taught anything about them.
He is especially unfamiliar with queer men. If you are a queer man, he'd be asking you all the time when he first finds out:
"How don't you find her hot? Or her? Do you find 'dat asshole, Spy hot? Is 'dat how dis works???"
Not with the intention of being slightly offensive, though. Just curious because he kind of struggles to wrap his head around the fact you're queer.
He always had a feeling that you weren't straight as a line, though. He hung around you a lot, even if you were annoyed by him, because he kind of wanted to finally be an older brother because he's always been the youngest.
So this is all a learning experience for him.
He'd definitely stay quiet for a little while, scaring you, before he randomly approaches you the next day.
"So... you like, what... in ta' ladies/dudes?"
(If you like girls, he'd definitely be the guy to say, "Holy shit, me too!" As a way to bond)
"Yeah."
"That's cool... that's cool... wanna talk about it more, or do you wanna go play ball?"
"Play ball."
"Let's go play ball, 'den."
Nothing changes about your relationship. Although he does occasionally ask if someone is your type or not, wanting to learn more about you. But in the end, as long as you still wanna hang around with him, he'll be chill.
Engineer
Unlike Scout, he is educated in queer people. He knows a couple, and he thinks they're pretty cool. Medic is also out to him because he's definitely gay (and trans because I like it that way)
Absolutely nothing changes with Engineer. He doesn't treat you any different or ask you any questions, just continues as normal, but encourages you to talk to him about things because he's definitely experienced it himself.
"You know, you could'a told me that earlier. I wouldn't have judged ya'. I've roamed around that area myself a little too."
"YOU WHAT?!?"
He just likes to get out there and try random shit. He looks like a boring guy, but he's way deeper than the southern merc on the surface.
Just talk to him :(
Medic
He wasn't there when you accidentally came out. He was finishing up an experiment on some organs.
When someone does tell him about it, though, he can't care less because he's queer too.
He also transed his gender. It's not my problem, it's yours now.
Definitely did his own top surgery ngl. Madman. Also discovered how to extract testosterone from sources and synthetically make it. Officially, a pioneer in trans healthcare. Hit him up if you want sum.
He treats you normally because he really doesn't give a fuck. He basically comes out to you as well, though:
"So you don't care."
"Nope."
"Why...?"
"What do you think Heavy and I do while we are working together... and the rest of you are eating?"
"..."
"Wait a minute... wait a... oh."
"Ja."
"HOW ARE STILL ALIVE?! 😭"
Definitely in love with his unofficial soul mate, the Heavy weapons guy.
I'm gonna do parts to this, actually. I'll make a part 2 and a part 3 another day that is even more random. I just need a break cause this is just a little bit lengthy. Ty got reading and sorry if it isn't exactly what you wanted 💀. I focused it a lot on the mercs instead of readers' anxiety.

____________
You were sitting on the ground of the walk-in, fingers getting colder, digging into the sleeves of your thick knit sweater. The one Richie called you crazy for wearing in the kitchen, but also one of the last pieces of physical comfort you had left.
Life was… rough, and you were currently struggling to find housing. You just spent your last bit of money on last night's stay in a motel room downtown. You were hoping you could pull through and figure something out by the end of the day… but that time was now, and you had nothing.
You tried to collect your thoughts, breathing hard and freaking out a little bit. Your nerves were getting the better of you, and you had been nothing but filled with tension the whole day.
You breathed in and out, slowly letting your body relax, and your fingers loosen their grip. You looked at the ground intensely, almost studying it, to remind yourself where you were. And to remember that the world wasn’t actually ending, it was just your life! Just yours!
Don’t worry! At least the restaurant is okay!
Even that was an overstatement.
You felt yourself finally come back to the moment.
“Alright well just don’t put it on the stove again Fak! It’s not fuckin rocket science- Oh,” Richie's voice was booming even before he opened the door.
He had snapped you out of your tranquil state immediately, and you could already feel yourself tensing up again. Being around people and trying to act like everything was normal and okay all day was very hard. Especially around Rich. The guy you almost desperately wished to be close to.
The fear was pungent though, you didn’t want to be a burden on anyone, especially on him. You feared getting tangled up with him in any way would only make life more painfully complicated.
These thoughts and feelings did not cross your mind though when you were actually around him in the kitchen, and you got to talk to him and watch him ‘work’, as you fought back the carnal urge to violently makeout with him.
It was far too easy to be comfortable around him, it was only after your shift everyday that you reminded yourself you were not in the position for a relationship.
If he even liked you-
“Hey, uh, what are ya doin' on the floor?” you were back to reality again, and Richie was looking down at you, one arm on the door and the other at his side.
You looked up at him with the most honest and unintended look of pure dread on your face, eyes sad and fearful. His own expression dropped.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?” he lowered his voice and knelt down to look you in the eyes, face to face.
You furrowed your brows and smiled in adoration. His words were somehow instantly comforting.
You shook your head, “It’s nothing. I’m just tired,”
He didn’t look convinced, instead he went to place a hand on your shoulder, his palm was warm in the chill.
“You sure you're ‘aright? You can tell me, ya know? Promise I won’t tell Mr. Crazy Chef,” he joked, referring to Carmy, and you let out a huff.
“Did you spill a giant jar of pickles or somethin?”
“Ha ha,” you said sarcastically, a half smile escaping your somber expression. Though, it didn’t last long.
Richie dropped to your level on the floor, sitting next to you.
You shook your head again, looking down.
“Its just been a long day,” you hesitated, but Richie just waited.
“Things have been… hard,” you let your words out with an exhale, your arms and legs becoming a bit less stiff.
“Home troubles?”
“Yeah,” you half whispered, fiddling with your fingers as that last bit of tension escaped you.
“Yeah… I get it,” he said with a sigh, and he let his head lean on the wall.
You sat there in silence for a second, the humming of the freezer accompanying your barely audible breaths.
“I take it you don’t wanna go back huh?” he asked you, turning his head to look at you.
You furrowed your brows and looked at him puzzled.
“Back home, I mean,” he clarified.
Oh
You put it together he assumed your home life wasn’t very good. Which technically it wasn’t, just not in the way he expected.
Obviously, you hadn’t alluded to anything else.
You nodded, barely mumbling another yeah, as to not embarrass yourself, though you could feel yourself getting there.
You leaned back against the metal shelf, tilting your head back and running your fingers by your scalp.
You half smiled at him, afraid to look into his eyes for too long or you might get lost in them.
“You know you can stay with me if you want?”
“What?” you blurted.
“If yur really not feelin like… goin back tonight, you can crash at mine. I got plenty o’ room,”
“Are you serious?”
“Course I am, I’m not an asshole,”
“Well…” you grinned and looked at him cheekily.
“Shush, I aint no fuckin asshole aright? I can be nice,” he expressed with his hands, signature of a pointed Richie opinion.
“Yeah like now?” you joked, your arms hooked around your knees as you leaned forward again.
“You don’t have to come over if you don't wanna-”
“I do,”
Richie stopped and looked at you, surprised and… relieved by your answer?
“I do, want to,”
He opened his mouth to say something, but the longer he looked at you it seemed he couldn’t come up with anything. He smiled a little bit instead, a pleasant sight. His cheeks just a bit pink.
“Well, then we better get goin’, it’s ‘bouta be closing and I don’t recommend staying overtime,”
He popped up from the floor, lending his hand for you to grab and propel you up.
“I already work overtime, Richie,” you reminded him as he brought you to your feet.
“Right uh, I really should get Carm to pay you more for that,”
“You should,” you said, nodding a bit and just barely smiling, it seemed to be something neither of you could stop doing.
“Consider it out of my paycheck. A little catch up in your check for this week. I’ll get Carm to fix it tomorrow, promise,”
You nodded, then looked down, grateful but also a bit guilty. Anything out of Richie's pocket could basically be considered right out of the restaurant. Richie seemed to catch your worried look.
“You ‘aright?” he let a hand rest on your shoulder, leaning over to get a look at you.
You nodded, sheepishly, but Richie just held onto your other shoulder.
“You sure?” you made eye contact, and willed yourself to reassure him.
“Yeah,” you nodded, and he let go.
“Kay, let’s get outta here,” he sighed, opening the door to the giant fridge.
“I promise you won’t regret this. I've got a nice 50 inch flatscreen, the most shining bathroom you’ve ever seen, and a pretty damn good bed,” He said, his eyes bright still but his face smug, until he caught your expression and dropped his own.
“That’s not what I uh…,”
“What’s goin on here cuz?” Carmy rounded the corner,
“Nothin, we’re just headin out,”
“We?” He looked at Richie, incredulous.
“Y/n was uh-”
“I’m staying at Richie's tonight. Just a temporary thing, my parents are having some friends and relatives over right now and I’m not really into opening the can o’ worms that is my life and career at the family function,” you chuckled nervously. You thought of the lie quicker than you were proud of, but knew it might resonate with Carm.
“Yeah no, that's… fine. Yeah, I uh, I understand,” he paused, ”I get it,”
He looked you both up and down, and it was only then that you noticed you were standing so close together your arms were touching. In the time the conversation started, neither of you made an effort to move away from the other.
His brows raised, “Have fun you two,” he smirked and turned to leave.
“Very funny, Carm. Fuck you too!” Richie called after him,
“Hope your playdate goes well!” he called back, just barely audible.
“What a dick,” Richie mumbled.
Remove the word ‘play’ from that sentence and the prospect of your staying over completely changed. Though you wondered, if the word 'play' really insinuated anything else, if not… other activities that could happen at a potential hangout. Was the word ‘play’ in ‘playdate’ in the context of two adults being around one another really any more appropriate than just simply saying date?
“Don’t listen to him,” Richie assured you, blue eyes wide and totally in your face.
You snapped out of zoning out, eyes flitting from the spot on Richie's neck where they rested.
“Sure,” you said half mindlessly, nodding your head and scrunching your nose.
“We are just two coworkers, who are going to one person's apartment, where we will do regular coworker things,” Richie stressed, as you two made your way to the back door, expressing it all with his hands and arms.
“Mhm mhm,” you nodded your head again, walking quickly, but not forgetting to swipe your bag of stuff from off the floor by the lockers.
“Like… sleeping,” he exclaimed a little too loudly, and you both paused in the doorway as soon as he said it.
“That keeps coming out wrong, doesn’t it?” he looked down, and then up at you, smiling a little bit.
He needed to stop doing that, it was starting to become addicting to watch.
“Yeah, it does,” you said with a sympathetic look of worry and also amusement.
“Yeah,” he flattened his mouth, his hands landing on his hips.
“I think maybe you should just stop talking about it for a bit,” you suggested.
“Yeah you're right, you're right. It’s a little weird huh?” he looked side to side, then down at the ground again, scratching his neck.
“I mean, not weird. Just a little, odd,”
“Just a little?” he looked up, smile growing on his face and cheeks still very pink.
“Just a little!” you chimed, and it looked like his eyes were smiling before his lips could.
“Yeah… good on ya babe. I should keep my mouth shut more often”
“Maybe not, completely shut?”
“Ah,”
“But just… mostly, shut,” you let your mouth curl into a smile.
“Right. Like a ventriloquist,” he offered, smiling back, a bit bashful.
“Yes, like a ventriloquist. Exactly,” you grinned and rubbed the space between your brows, he laughed a little.
You laughed as well, just barely, air escaping your nose and mouth. You exhaled, and let your smile fade with his. You both paused, eyes meeting in the comforting silence. Richie's mouth parted, before he clicked his tongue.
“My uh, my car is just at the end of the lot,” he grinned,
“Right yes, lets go to that,”
“As you wish,” he swayed his hand out in front of him.
You simply smiled, and walked past him down the step to outside. He stopped before he could even walk forward.
“Wait, hold up. I gotta get my jacket… I’ll be right back,”
“Yeah, sure,”
He turned towards the lockers but promptly turned right back around.
“Do you need anything? You got all your stuff?”
“Yep! It’s just my bag,”
“Okay, alright, cool,”
He disappeared down the hall, and you turned to face the cold, all too familiar with the chill on your skin. You watched your breath in the air, as you exhaled, trying to slow the rising tempo of your heart. You hoped Richie's place was warm. You hoped he was warm.
“Alright!” you jumped a bit, but met him with kind eyes.
“Let's get this show on the road,”

gerald is spitting straight out facts abt kyle LOL
ok i loved how s20 rlly explored gerald & kyle’s dynamic and how much of a strained relationship they have and how gerald is closer to ike & likes him more and understands him better than kyle. it makes sense tho that gerald & ike would have a special bond with each other bc they’re the more laid back and chill ones of the family compared to kyle & sheila LOL. and bc they’re both guys too which s20 rlly explored when gerald kept having all those one on one talks with ike to talk abt guy humor and shit. it’s obvious gerald can’t have these kinds of talks with kyle and talk abt fucked up gross shit bc kyle is just gonna get all upset and be a huge drama queen as usual. so i feel like this is def part of the reason why kyle is so fucked up bc he feels neglected af by BOTH his parents and misunderstood & unloved since he’s his dad’s least fav child. i also feel like that’s the whole reason behind why kyle is so damn preachy all the time and constantly has to yell at everyone and force his beliefs on them bc he feels like no one is listening to him or cares bc it’s shown his parents ignore him A LOT, unlike cartman’s mom who gives him wayyy too much attention and smothers him. cartman & kyle are both narcissists who constantly crave validation but for different reasons. cartman thinks everything is all about him bc he gets TOO MUCH attention and always gets his way wheras kyle thinks everything is abt him bc he’s a total victim who feels like NOTHING goes his way and no one acknowledges him. but also the fact that kyle doesn’t even act like a normal boy and is gay af and has a lot of feminine qualities by getting all overly sensitive and worrying abt dumb shit like a girl does is prob a HUGE reason why he doesn’t connect with gerald as much as ike does. and i def think this is a HUGE reason why kyle is in the closet and doesn’t wanna admit he’s gay LOL. gerald prob makes kyle feel like he’s not the son he wanted and he doesn’t like how kyle can’t act like a normal dude and laugh abt dumb shit. i feel like gerald might be homophobic af which was shown in “mr garrison’s fancy new vagina” how he had a problem with lgbt shit when he didn’t like mr garrison having a sex change. and then sheila gets on his ass lecturing him abt how being trans is perfectly fine and he should be more tolerant. so that’s why i feel like sheila would def be the way more accepting parent abt kyle being gay than gerald (AND it’s been shown she gets along well with cartman too). so yeah it makes sense kyle wouldn’t wanna come out as gay if his dad doesn’t like it and basically shuns him for all of the gay qualities he already has LOL. that’s also why i feel like kyle overcompensates by acting all aggressive and feisty af all the time (and of course hiding being gay would make someone rlly pissy and irritable too), it’s his way of trying to seem more tough and maculine than he rlly is bc he’s embarrassed abt the side of himself that’s rlly just soft and nurturing af. but at the same time i feel like kyle still has a closer relationship with gerald than sheila (which could also be a BIG reason he’s in the closet bc he cares abt gerald’s opinion the most as the parent he looks up to more) bc he’s not as crazy and off the wall as her LOL. even tho kyle is way more similar to his mom than his dad i feel like kyle still tries his best to be more like his dad and model after him bc he knows damn well his mom is just a fat bitch whom no one should be like even tho he won’t admit it and gets mad whenever anyone points it out.

✰ synopsis : your older brother finds you with a guy and well there could be various outcomes
✰ word count : 1.4k+ words
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
౨₊ৎ chan
i feel like chan would be the chill bro
like he loves you, he does but he doesn't want to seem as those cliché annoying brothers so he'll act normal
BUT if the guy ever makes you cry, chan's on his way to the guy's house along with his members
chan would absolutely hate it when you cry because of a guy
he'll not give you space thinking you need a shoulder to cry on and would lay beside you and distract you by playing video games or simply talking to each other
he would find himself getting a bit sad when you're on the phone texting someone but would try to brush it off
everytime a guy even looks at you in a weird way he would glare at them
he even created a whole powerpoint with points and body language of guys. basically mentioning each and every single detail to keep you away from those toxic guys
being the eldest kid, he felt like he has responsibility to look after the younger ones
and he does that everytime. without failure.
౨₊ৎ minho
the moment he sees you with a guy outside the convenient store he would literally have to double take a look
his sister, HIS younger sister with a GUY ???
oh he is so going to tease the hell out of you
he would click a good amount of pictures and smirk like a devil
later on he would confront you about it and blackmail you saying he'll tell it to mom
would make you do every single work assigned to him
and the moment you hesitate he is almost about to fake call mom
would make kissing noises and hand gestures each time you're about to go on a date or facetiming the guy
but when he sees that you unhappy, he's going to have a little chat with the guy
let's say that it did not end well at all
would realize his mistake and mumble sorry everytime he sees you
would do anything to make you forgive him
though his ways were a bit more violent, he knew that the guy anyway didn't deserve you
and that minho is always right with his instincts
౨₊ৎ changbin
the type of brother to literally interrogate the guy
would ask the guy if he works out and if he says no, changbin would throw you a disappointed look telling you could do better
would scold you both and explain about sex education, embarassing the hell out of you
he loves it sm although !
but at the same time he can't help but think of how fast you grew up
would also help you with your outfits
he has the guy warned to drop you home safely and before 9 !!
if the guy ever hurts you, don't worry. changbin has your back
he's also the brother who would feel a bit awkward on how to approach you so he would just quietly sit by your side, watching your favorite movies with you
i swear the moment he sees you laugh it's like he can breathe normally now
he promised himself to never let you cry over a guy again !! must protect
౨₊ৎ hyunjin
the type of brother who would judge the guy and his choice of fashion
would fake gag loudly whenever he sees you blushing and would roll his eyes the moment he sees the guy's face
"please don’t tell me that frog is my future brother in-law"
would constantly spy on you both to figure out what you were both upto
the moment you two break up he would hit you with that "i told you" but when he realizes you don't even react, he would literally let you cry in his arms
would send you a sad playlist to help you let it all out
would sneakily take your phone, get the guy's number and would block him on all socials before sending an annonymous text to the guy
would make goofy faces while dancing just to make you laugh
would let you do his skincare for a month if it means he gets to see you move on from that asshole
౨₊ৎ han
the brother who's jealous that he's still single
would glare whenever you both show pda in front of him
so damn annoyed (x 100)
but at the same time he'll keep an eye on the two of you, especially the guy
the moment you two break up he's gonna be so relieved but ! the realization would hit him and he would walk up to your room and talk to you for hours, helping you get it all out
out of rage he would even write a few diss tracks for the guy and make you listen to it
the moment you start vibing or screaming out the lyrics he would feel like he won in life
the other members know about and would let him pull a taylor swift knowing very well that the guy deserves it
han would probably even post the song online and would anonymously troll the guy
what's a revenge without some fun?
౨₊ৎ felix
brother? no! he's your 4lifer
knows every single gossip of your college and your friends
so it's no surprise that he was the first person that go to know you were dating someone
will most likely start thirdwheeling on your dates
he would even invite the guy over to watch a match
and the moment you break out the news that you both broke up he's literally gonna be even sadder than you
would sigh out loud on purpose and hug you tightly mumbling that he was good company
but the moment you tell him it was the guy's fault, felix would switch up real quick
would throw insults and say speeches on how the guy was a dumbhead and all
jokes apart, he would actually feel guilty for mentioning the guy in front of you and would apologize to you and swears that he'll be careful from now
who needs guys when you have brothers like him?
౨₊ৎ seungmin
he IS the bully
would laugh mockingly at you both and make memes saying how he finds couples cringey
would literally yell out embarrassing things about you to the guy
would even show your baby pictures and snicker
there is no way in hell that he could get a better opportunity of revenge !!
but honestly he's gonna share the gossip that you're dating with the other members just so they can't keep flirting with you
he has grown kinda annoyed
he still can't digest the fact that people find his sister pretty
although, he thinks you are but he loves irritating the hell out of you
being seungmin's sister, he shouldn't expect any less from you
you would fake cry making him panic because if mom finds out it's over !!
and when you cry for a guy, that guy is over
seungmin is very protective when you get sad because of someone else
he would frown and his arms would find your sides, bringing you in his embrace since he knows how much you love his hugs
you're like his little star and he would absolutely feel his heart shatter seeing you sad
౨₊ৎ jeongin
the type of brother who would hate it when you started dating his best friend
would roll his eyes when you take his best friend/ your boyfriend away from him
it was irritating the heck out of him
how dare YOU date HIS friend?
but later on he kind of got used to it
and when the two of you break up it's like time stops for jeongin
not only did you lose your boyfriend, but jeongin lost his best friend in a way too
hurting jeongin's sister was a bad bad move
and poor jeongin felt helpless seeing you looks so miserable for a cheater like that guy
he would take you out to arcades or take you boxing because it's his way of taking his anger out and maybe it might help you as well?
little tmi, it actually did
you could feel yourself healing and getting over that guy and jeongin could feel his sister's crazy antics returnings
so suddenly he felt like he regretted it when you barge in his room wiggle your eyebrows for no reason
he's no less either. he would run behind you like a monkey and tackle you to the ground before tickling you hard
it's weird, how in many ways the annoying part of jeongin shows just how caring he is
Tumblr media
hey anon hope you liked this >< i changed the ending to angst although because i love angst (guilty) 🙏🙏

Tumblr media
“Let’s go,” Billy thumped on her door, looking rather irritated as Max kept bouncing around on her heels next to him. She was rambling about something, some video game that she had beat the high score of the other day. Kim put her makeup brush down, looking at her reflection again, “You know it’s like almost a hundred degrees out there, right?” He said, watching as she put mascara on.
“I didn’t know you watched the news,” Kim remarked playfully, watching how his blue eyes twinkled. She stood from her vanity and headed towards the doorway, “Did you tell mom we were going?” Kim turned to look at Max who was trying to drag Billy forward. Their dynamic had definitely changed within the past few days.
“No, I think she’s getting ready for their date.” Max turned away. In other words, she didn’t want to go in there and deal with Neil. Not that Kim could blame her. If she was Max, she wouldn’t want to be anywhere near him either. Kim double checked to make sure she had her cash in her pocket before she nodded.
“I’ll go tell her we’re going; I’ll meet you out in the car.” Kim smiled softly, meeting Billy’s observing eye. His thumb flicked against her elbow, soft enough that she almost missed it. His smile faded back to annoyance as Max shrugged him forward.
“I’m going!” He huffed and Kim suspected that his arrogance was all forced. She figured that he was probably enjoying Max’s company as much as she was enjoying his. Kim took a hesitant step into her mom’s bedroom, knocking softly before walking in.
“Hey,” Susan turned, pausing as she placed large green earrings on. Kim smiled nervously, but soon felt herself relax as she noticed Neil wasn’t around, “Are you guys leaving? Make sure and watch Max, okay?” Kim nodded, feeling a bit uncertain as she glanced at her mother’s form.
“Are you going to be, okay?” Kim asked unsure, looking up at her mother worried. She didn’t bother answering her questions about watching Max. She had been doing that for a long time. Susan sighed, straightening out her hair as she nodded. Kim still didn’t like that her mother would be alone with Neil for so long.
“It’s fine, honey. We’re going to work on our marriage,” Susan smiled sweetly. Her cheek was already back to normal, but the memory was still fresh in Kim’s mind, “Thank you for looking out for me.” Susan wrapped her up gently and Kim felt like a little girl again. She sighed softly, resting her chin against her mother's shoulder.
“I just don’t want you to get hurt,” Kim admitted softly, “I worry about you.” Her mother swayed them back and forth for a second. Kim lingered in her touch, not quite ready to let her go. She didn’t like the thought of her being alone with Neil for the whole night. She didn’t trust him.
“I’m fine,” Susan pulled away softly, holding onto Kim’s small shoulders as she looked up at her daughter, “Don’t worry about me. Make sure you have fun tonight, at least try and act like a kid. It’s okay to do all of the stuff you’re too nervous to do.” Kim blinked at her mom, feeling a bit uncertain as she listened to her words. She looked into her mom’s hazel eyes, not quite knowing what she should think. She wasn’t sure if she was allowed to do those things with Neil acting the way that he did.
“Susan, are you almost ready?” His voice sent chills down her back as he entered back into their bedroom. Kim felt her smile fading as she stared ahead at her mother. Susan’s cheek was still discolored, not quite bruised but it didn’t match the rest of her skin tone. Susan pulled her eyes away, smiling brightly as she nodded towards the older man behind them. Kim didn’t want to, but she turned slowly to face him. She resisted the urge to grip her mother’s hand tightly like she was still a small child.
The tension turned as Neil entered the room, looking at the two of them with a prying curiosity. Kim shifted away from her mother, forcing a smile like there was nothing wrong. His whole demeanor left her feeling uncomfortable, especially since his outburst the other day. She didn’t know what he expected of her, but she felt as if it was different from what her mother wanted from her. Maybe she was partially scared he really would spank her like he had threatened.
“Shouldn’t you be leaving? Billy and Max are waiting.” If he was trying to sound nice, he failed at it. His tone was nothing but cruel and cold as he monitored Kim. She shifted uncomfortably, suddenly wondering if her clothing was too short. She nodded quickly, glancing back at her mother before facing him again.
“I was just saying bye,” She pushed her hair behind her ear, giving her mother a soft smile again. Susan nodded, giving her daughter an encouraging look like everything was okay, “I’ll get going then.” She began to step forward, but Neil remained planted in his spot.
“I just need to finish up my makeup really quick,” Susan spoke up quickly, glancing away from Neil. Kim watched her, knowing she was referring to her cheek, “I’ll be out in just a second.” She turned and made her way to the master bathroom. Kim faltered for a moment, not wanting to be left alone in a room with him. He waited until Susan was almost to the bathroom before he spoke up again.
“I don’t get a hug?” The question was tense, his blue eyes cold as he watched her. Kim fought the urge to fidget. She glanced towards her mother, watching as she closed the bathroom door behind her. She truly felt alone now. From the first day they met Neil had tried to commit the idea that he was a hugger. Kim was just never comfortable hugging him and she especially wasn’t keen on the idea after he threatened to smack her. She felt her lips twitching awkwardly as she took a step forward. She didn’t know a way to avoid it without him blowing up into a fit of anger. She didn’t want her mom to get hit again.
“Course.” She exhaled softly, remembering that this wasn’t any different than any of the other times he had forced his hands around her. She felt stiff as she wrapped her arms around his torso, doing her best to keep her face from touching his shirt. He squeezed her in his arms, pulling her closer to his chest. He was cold and stony, nothing paternal seemed to linger underneath him. She tried to pull away, only to be brought back against him. He gripped her wrist tightly.
“You’re not going to see any boys tonight, are you?” He whispered cruelly in her ear. She stared down at where he was gripping her wrist, she tried to twist away but he held onto her tightly. She felt a sickening feeling growing in her stomach as she finally found the courage to look up at him and shake her head no. She couldn’t form any words, too afraid to say the wrong thing. He released her then, dropping her hand as quickly as he had gripped a hold of her.
She looked away from him, beginning to move around him as he stayed put in his position. He was planted in the doorway and even with as skinny as she still was, part of her still brushed against him as she tried to make her way out. She felt her heart slowdown in fear as she quickly moved past him.
“Kimberly?” He spoke up again and she winced before turning to face him, “I’m serious. I don’t want to see you around that boy.” He was staring at her harshly. She looked back nervously, wondering what he would do if he knew that the boy was his son and not the one that showed up with roses. She didn’t like feeling like she had to walk on eggshells around him, like one misstep and he would crack into a fit of rage. She was truly afraid of him as she nodded in agreement to his words.
“Yes, sir.” She breathed out after a moment, finally finding her strength to speak to him. She didn’t think she was irrational to be afraid of him when she had seen exactly what he could do. She rushed down the steps before he could say anything else to her. She made haste, holding onto the wooden railing as she raced towards Billy’s car.
“Bout time,” Billy grumbled, flicking away his cigarette as she slid into the leather seat. The hot leather burned against her bare thighs as she quickly buckled up, “What took you so long?” He turned towards her curiously, but she quickly shook her head, brushing off his question. She didn’t want to think about holding onto his dad any more than what she had to. She could happily pretend that it never happened. She wiggled her wrist around, trying to ignore the prickling feeling around her skin.
“I’m so excited,” Max gushed out after a few awkward seconds. Kim was still trying to catch her breath and keep her heart from racing so hard, “Lucas said they have those spinning cup rides. Do you remember riding those?” Max asked, sitting forward to look at her sister. Kim rubbed her clammy hands against her thighs before she spoke up.
“Those are kind of fun. Daddy used to spin us so fast,” Kim smiled at the memory, before reaching forward and gripping onto the dashboard. Max jolted forward as the car skidded to a near halt, “What was that?” Kim looked towards Billy’s flushed expression. He shifted in his seat, adjusting his foot away from the brake pedal as he brought his car back to a steady motion.
“I thought I saw something.” He muttered as he looked away from the redhead. Kim looked back to meet Max’s astonished features. Billy huffed something under his breath before he turned his loud music up to die out the complaints from the two girls. Kim watched the irritable look grow on his face before he reached for another cigarette.
“Anyways,” Max spoke up over the loud music, “I can’t wait to go on all the rides. Oh, and see the fireworks. That’ll be fun too.” Max rambled on over the loud music. Kim turned in her chair as best as she could with her seatbelt on so she could watch the younger girl. Even though Kim didn’t really care for fair rides she was glad her sister was at least going to have fun.
“Yeah, Addi said there was supposed to be a lot of fireworks.” Kim told her sister, looking away from Billy’s gaze as they spoke towards each other. Her friend had told her she had been there, but she’d be going with Eddie. She was happy for her but had grown a bit jealous that she had someone else. Kim still felt like she wanted a boyfriend.
“Tell your friend to hurry,” Billy grumbled, sparing a glance back at Max as they pulled into the dirt driveway. Kim fidgeted forward nervously and turned down the music to Billy’s protest. She didn’t care right now. She didn’t want Hopper to have another reason to be upset with them. She wondered if he even knew that Billy would be the one driving his daughter to the Fun Fair.
“Is Will coming?” Kim asked as Max stepped out of the car. She paused in her steps for a moment as she shook her head no, her red hair flying in the hot wind.
“I think he’s going to meet with the others later.” Max rushed out before she was making her way up to the front door. Kim watched amused, glad that her little sister was finally making friends. She had the best luck out of all of them in Hawkins so far.
“Good, I don’t want any more shitbirds in my car.” Billy grumbled as he took a long drag from his cigarette. Kim shook her head, rolling her eyes playfully as Max quickly came back with El. The other girl smiled shyly before sitting in the backseat. Kim suddenly hoped that Billy had taken his time to clean back there when she noticed Hopper following behind quickly. She felt herself sliding down in her seat as if she could hide away from him. He looked just as intense as he did the other day, even with his police uniform off.
Kim shook away his comment, knowing that it was all an act. He really didn’t seem too bothered by Max and her friends. Well, he didn’t anymore. It seemed to her like he was trying to change. That, or she was seeing him in a different light. She turned away at the sight of Max leading El back to the car. Kim waved back towards the small brunette girl.
“Thanks for driving me,” El slid into the backseat with Max, a large grin painted on her face, “I’m so excited.” She gushed as she sat forward with Max. Kim turned to Billy.
“It’s all thanks to Billy, otherwise we’d be walking.” Kim admitted. It wasn’t fully true. She was sure if he hadn’t volunteered, he would’ve at least been forced to drive them. She was glad he came willingly. It made her excited that she would be around him so much for the next few hours. She missed him more than she wanted to admit.
“Sure,” Billy muttered as he began to back out of the driveway. He halted when he noticed the chief of police making his way towards them, “What does he want?” Billy grumbled to no one in general. Kim could feel her pulse quickening in nerves. She was hoping to avoid seeing Hopper for the rest of her life. She suddenly wished she had picked the backseat and one of the younger girls was sitting up here. He made his way towards them quickly as Billy slowly rolled down Kim’s side of the window.
“He’s so embarrassing,” El whimpered as she held her head between her hands. Hopper leaned against the car, bending low again until his elbows were against the window, “Dad I’m fine!” El protested, exhaling loudly.
Kim was busy playing with her fingers, glancing back and forth between the Chief of Police and Billy. Billy still seemed calm as Hopper seemed to stare into his soul, “If she’s back any later than midnight, exactly, I’m drug testing all of you.” Kim felt herself stiffening in the seat, even though she had no plans to smoke tonight.
“Yes, sir,” Billy replied dryly. Kim forced out a smile, still feeling uncertain under Hopper’s watchful eye, “She’ll come back in one piece.” Hopper stared at him curiously, his blue eyes hardening. Kim could feel her heart thumping hard as he analyzed the blonde boy.
“What happened to your nose?” Hopper’s voice wasn’t as stern suddenly. Kim turned to face Billy, feeling her heartbeat pick up again as she looked at his stunned face. It was so small, just a faint fading bruise to the left side of his nose that dipped towards his eye. She wasn’t sure how Hopper caught it with Billy’s shades on. The car suddenly went quiet, the only sound was Billy’s music filling inside the car.
“It’s a bruise,” Billy said simply, seeming to recollect himself after a second. Hopper turned to look at Kim, but she kept her lips pressed tightly together. She wouldn’t say anything against Neil, not in front of Billy. Their relationship was too complicated for her to step into, “It’s fine.” Billy didn’t offer an explanation.
“Dad, we’re going to be late.” El whined in the backseat. Kim was glad for the interruption. It seemed to bring Hopper’s gaze away from Billy as he looked towards the two girls in the backseat.
“Fine, but I don’t want you running off. You're going to stay with Kim, understand?” Kim watched the older man speak, recognizing a hint of delight in his tone. Despite sounding so protective, he still wanted his daughter to have fun. It brought a small smile to Kim’s face.
“I already told you yes before,” El sounded exasperated as she spoke, “Can we please go now?” Kim glanced at her in the rearview mirror, looking at the excitement that traced her features. Kim resisted the urge to look at Billy, wanting to assure herself that he was alright. Hopper seemed to be suspicious of the boy for a lot of things.
“Midnight.” He patted the side of the car before he was standing straight again. Billy waved him off, taking his time to pull out of the driveway. Kim looked in the side mirror, noticing how Hopper was still watching them even as they drove off. She was still all too aware of how Hopper seemed to be watching the two. She didn’t like it.
“I’m sorry about him,” El mumbled, sounding bashful as she spoke. Kim glanced over towards Billy, noticing how he was cracking a grin, “He loves to embarrass me.” Billy shook his head.
“It’s fine. He’s worried about you, it’s no big deal.” He always sounded so soft when he spoke towards El. Kim wondered if it was the same way he spoke to the kids learning how to swim. He scratched at the side of his face, near his bruise and she was curious if he was becoming more aware of the mark on his face. She turned from him, looking out the window as they approached the Fun Fair. She was surprised to see how such a small town could afford so much.
“Don’t be running off,” Billy grumbled as he finally found a parking spot. They were hours early before any fireworks were supposed to go off, but it seemed as if everyone else had the same idea. It did look like fun, “I’m not chasing you shits around.” El giggled when he cursed, and Kim looked back to see Max rolling her eyes. Kim stepped out into the hot air, the sun already beating down on her from the high spot in the sky.
“We won’t,” Max grumbled in a similar Billy fashion as she got out of the car. She took her friend's hand and walked ahead, putting a distance between them and Billy, “See you inside!” Kim turned to look at Billy curiously as the two young girls took off. He lit up another cigarette as she turned to look at Kim with a smirk on his face.
“You have to pay to get in, they’ll be waiting for us at the front gate,” He promised as they walked through the makeshift parking lot. Kim always thought she enjoyed nature, but that was before they moved somewhere where she constantly feared she’d step on a snake. She kept her eyes near the ground as she moved, “We can take as long as we want.”
“You’re evil,” She told him playfully, their arms brushing against each other as they walked, “She’s not going to want to leave tonight.” Kim told Billy, knowing that Max would stay here forever if she could. Billy shrugged, blowing out a large cloud of smoke.
“She can walk home then. El will listen to me though.” He took his time as he walked, and Kim was sure it was so he could purposely piss off Max. She shook her head, shadowing his movements as he moved. The closer they got to the front gates the louder she could hear children screaming and laughing. She really hoped she hadn’t dragged him along to something completely childish.
“I think she has a crush on you,” Kim admitted, thinking it was cute, “That’s why she’s always giggling around you.” Billy scoffed but she knew the truth behind her words. She figured that she would probably also have a crush on him had their parents never married. She wouldn’t ever admit that to him.
“Billy,” Max whined as she walked towards him and grabbed a hold of his hand, “Please come on, I wanna go inside!” She must’ve got tired of waiting as she dragged on her older brother’s hand. Kim half expected him to shrug the younger girl off but was surprised to watch his pace quicken as he walked with her. She felt her eyebrows raising as she jogged to keep up with them.
They made it to the back of the line, but Max still kept a hold of Billy’s hand as she ushered El back over towards them. Kim looked at Billy amused, who looked rather uncomfortable at the moment. She was more curious than ever to know what he was feeling at the moment. Six months ago, she would’ve never believed anyone had they told her they’d all be here in this situation at the moment. It seemed like it was a lifetime ago, like they had all been different people then.
“Hey, it says you can’t smoke past this point.” Max pointed towards the sign, sending Billy an amused look. He sighed, taking one last drag of his cigarette before he was tossing it aside. Kim was slightly worried if he could go that long without smoking but figured there would be a section he could wander off towards.
“How many?” They stepped up towards the front and Kim began to shift, trying to remember which pocket she had stuffed her cash into. Billy stepped up first while she dug around and began to pull out her dollar bills.
Billy glanced back at them as he pulled his wallet out, “There’s four of us,” He spoke gruffly as he pulled his money out. Kim felt her eyebrow raising in surprise. She didn’t mean for him to pay for her, she had brought her own money for a reason. El and Max stepped up forward to get a stamp on their hands. Billy motioned her forward and Kim stuck her pale hand out, looking at how red the ink looked against her skin, “Let’s go.” He nudged Kim forward softly, making her draw her eyes away from his expression. She wanted to thank him but found herself growing quiet as they walked inside the big, sparkly archway.
She walked faster, trying to keep up with the two younger girls as they raced around. She found herself drawn to the different activity booths filled with a multitude of different prizes. Screaming and laughter surrounded them as they walked forwards. Kim felt her eyes drifting towards the large Ferris wheel as the smell of sweetened fried foods and buttery popcorn drifted across her nose.
“There’s Lucas,” El drew out the letters in his name slowly and Max pushed her friend hard. Kim bumped into her, reaching out to steady her as the young brunette giggled, “Let’s go say hi!” She took Max’s hand and dragged her ahead of them. Kim glanced at Billy, noting the irritation curling around his eyebrows.
“Wait, I agreed to watch Max. Not all of these other kids,” Billy grumbled as him and Kim walked to the same pace. There was a big distance between the two of them and Kim figured he was just as worried about people being suspicious, “It’s like being at work all over again.”
“Only you’re not getting paid,” Kim teased him, a light smile playing on her features. He huffed but a smile against his features. She liked that he looked less upset than from earlier, “I’m sure they’ll run off with their group here in a little bit.”
“Just as long as they don’t do anything dumb,” She watched as Billy’s eyes glanced around the different areas as they stood near a sitting area as El and Max joined their other friend, “Pretty sure Hopper will arrest me.” He muttered under his breath. Kim hesitated for a moment.
“Does he know about Neil?” She asked softly, glancing up towards the blue-eyed boy. He stiffened as he dragged his fingertips along the wooden table. She waited for him to speak, understanding if he didn’t want to talk about it.
“Yeah, he’s suspicious of him.” Billy left it at that, but it felt like it was more than enough for Kim. He hadn’t snapped at her or tried to change the topic right away, it was something. Kim glanced away, noticing a nearby sign as a thrilling sensation grew inside of her.
“Billy!” Suddenly Kim was a small child again, bouncing on her feet as she pointed excitedly, “They have cows! Real ones!” She felt overly giddy as she pushed past the crowd to look. She had seen cows pretty much every day since they had moved here, but they were never close enough for her to touch. He lingered behind her a bit, sending her an odd look.
“Pretty sure you see these every day.” He grumbled softly as he stuck his hands in his pockets. She was shaking her head quickly to dismiss his claim. She had completely forgotten about the two younger teens they were supposed to be watching. She was too enthralled with being able to touch the animals in front of them as she wandered away.
“No, those are dairy cows. These are Highland cows! See how fluffy they are and the horns?” She was bouncing as she walked closer towards the gate, half tempted to push the little kids out of the way. She felt like she hadn’t been excited for something this much before. Billy stood behind her, peaking over her shoulder curiously.
“So like the ones they use to make burgers?” She swirled her head around and sent the blonde boy an annoyed look. He smiled at her cheerful smile, looking amused with her reaction. She elbowed him softly as they stepped further in line.
“They’re cute,” She defended herself, feeling overjoyed as they took a step closer, “Hi, baby,” She cooed towards the large cow standing in front of her. She gently reached out and pushed the long locks of tan hair from his eyes and let her hands linger softly around his neck. She was trying not to jitter with excitement as she rubbed the soft fur of his neck.
“That’s Angus.” A taller man with a thick beard and a farmer's tan smiles towards Kim. She nodded, turning to look at where Billy was snorting. She felt her lips curling into a smile as she glanced back. A squeal left her mouth when rough, wet tongue slid across her hand. Billy’s lips curled up in disgust.
“It’s not that bad,” She told him gleefully as she continued to pet Angus, “Feel.” She took a hold of his hand with her clean one and began rob help him put the brown fur. Billy was stiff against her touch, looking uncomfortable for a few seconds before he finally relaxed.
“He’s soft,” He grumbled as he slowly let his large fingers curl into the soft fur. Kim nodded in agreement, looking at how gentle he was touching him. She watched as his blue eyes widened when Angus stuck his large rough tongue out and licked around Billy’s palm, “Fuck that’s nasty.” He cursed, rubbing his hand across his jeans to clean it. She laughed softly.
“He gave you a kiss,” Kim replied playfully, letting her finger linger against Angus’s wet nose for a soft second before they were moving on down the line. She wished she was able to bring him home, she figured she’d never be lonely if she had a cow living in her room, “It’s really sweet.” She told him again, noticing the disgust that was still written across his features as he continually wiped his hands across his pants. She stared at the goats in front of them. They were cute, not as cute as the cows, but smelly. She decided that she’d rather not have the smell of them lingering on her hand.
“Holy shit,” Billy looked further down the line, staring, “What is that?” Kim turned curiously, stepping on her tippy toes to look over parents with their kids. She felt her eyebrows furrow as she turned back to look at his surprised expression.
“The miniature pony?” She asked slowly, not quite seeing what was out of the ordinary. She looked towards the golden boy, noting the astonishment in his blue eyes.
“Is it a baby?” He asked curiously. She bit her lip, trying to hide her smile and failing. She thought he looked so cute being intrigued by an animal. She shook her head.
“No, it's a mini one. They stay like this size forever,” She explained, watching how he seemed drawn to the small animal, “Come on.” She stuck her hand out before withdrawing it quickly. She hadn’t meant to reach for his hand. She played it off as she stepped around the chickens and made their way towards the end. Billy was following her closely behind.
Maybe he wasn’t a cat person, maybe he was a horse guy.
“Woah,” He breathed out as they stopped in front of the miniature pony. Kim grinned, reaching her hand out softly as she began to pet the soft fur, “I didn’t know they could be this little.” Kim almost giggled, thinking that Billy was acting adorable.
“I haven’t really seen one this small before either,” She admitted. His fingers touched against the wooden railing that separated them from the animals. She took a leap of faith and took a hold of his hand gently before pulling his hand forward to touch the small horse, “His name is Sebastian.” She told him, reading off the name plaque. Billy’s large fingers curled softly around the pony’s soft hair.
“My mom took me horseback riding a long time ago. I was too afraid to sit up there myself, they seemed so big at the time,” Billy told her softly. She glanced over at him, losing herself in his bright eyes and soft freckles, “She always liked horses.” He was silent for a moment, and she watched as remorse settled upon his hard features. It was like he noticed her watching, the look of sadness was gone as soon as it appeared. The usual irritation settled upon him as he pulled his hand away.
“My mom left my dad after he forgot us at a carnival, he was so drunk he couldn’t remember which one we were at,” Kim admitted. She had been ten at the time, Max was around six. She could still remember sitting out near a park bench for hours until Susan finally found them. Billy looked at her curiously, “He was good to us, he just wasn’t a good dad. At the time I blamed my mom for a lot of it, I think I really hurt her too. I’m seeing more and more that he just never really cared about us in that way.” It hurt to say, to admit that her dad could be so careless. He was. With her growing older she could see more of why her mom left him when she did. She didn’t know how her mom had stayed with him for so long. He was still her dad though; she still loved him.
“No offense, but he sounds like a shit dad,” Billy grumbled, kicking his foot softly against a tuft of dirt. He stepped up to the fountain and began to scrub his hands. Kim followed suit. As cute as Angus had been, she didn’t want to be eating his tongue germs later on. Kim nodded, heading back in the direction they had come from, “Has he called since?” She felt the base of her neck heating up a bit as she remembered how he had been there to comfort her.
“No,” She hated to say it, feeling pathetic that she couldn’t even get her father to pay attention to her, “He hasn’t called or written. Nothing.” She tried not to get too into her emotions as she glanced at Billy’s worrisome expression. She forced a smile, letting him know that she wasn’t going to break down into tears here.
“You and Max deserve better than that,” Billy told her honestly. She scanned through the crowd, searching for the younger redhead. She was sure that they didn’t wander off very far. Billy still hadn’t given them any money for any of the games. Kim liked that he wasn’t suggesting that Neil was better. She’d rather have an absent dad than an abusive one, “There they are.” He pointed past a few of the vendors, where the three teens were waiting in a line. El caught their eye and waved them over.
“Looks like she found the teacups,” Kim spoke up as they walked over to join them. She felt bittersweet suddenly as they joined them in line, “Have you been on anything yet?” Max shook her head no.
“We tried to look for you guys, but you disappeared,” Max remarked, shoving her hands into her pockets as she spoke, “We thought we’d get in line while we waited for you to reappear.” Kim smiled at her younger sister a bit sheepishly.
“She had to go pet the animals,” Billy teased her, nudging Kim’s shoulder softly. She pretended to scoff and roll her eyes, but she was smiling widely. She was fully admitting to the crime, she had been the one to wander away, “I think she was trying to steal the cow.” Max looked between the two of them curiously and Kim felt herself slowly stepping away from Billy. She played it off, pulling her hair into a scrunchie.
“Are we all getting on then?” Kim glanced at the three teens, unsure if they were wanting her and Billy to join them or not. Lucas nodded enthusiastically at the same time Max shouted yes. El was smiling, looking like she was just happy to be there.
“The more people the better, it makes it spin faster.” He explained as they took a step forward onto the cups. The ride operator pointed them to a golden cup with pink swirls decorating it. Kim followed shortly behind them, smiling back at Billy who was watching unsure.
“What do you do on this one?” Billy asked as they settled into the small teacup. Kim sat next to El, who sat next to Max who was keeping a fair distance between her and Lucas. Kim thought it was cute. Billy’s leg pressed hard against hers as they all squeezed in together. She thought he almost looked silly sitting in such a girly cup.
“So the ride spins you around in like an oval, but you pull on this to make you spin inside the cup super-fast.” She tried to explain as she pressed her fingers down on the yellow, metal circle in the middle of all of them. She set her feet on the bottom railing, trying to give them all a little more wiggle room. Max and Lucas joined their hands on top of hers.
“It’s really fun,” Lucas spoke up before darting his eyes away from Billy. He looked like he still wasn’t sure if he was allowed to speak to him, “It’s one of my favorites.” He glanced back to the shorter redhead, a warm smile placed on his lips. Billy watched him for a minute, his eyes twinkling.
“Okay, go! Go!” Max commanded as the operator gave them all clear. It was hard to build up a rhythm at first, all of their hands awkwardly clambering on top of each other as they all tried to pull the circular handle around. El was giggling, trying to find a place for her hands as they all spun in awkward, harsh circles. Kim could feel her forearms beginning to scream in protest from the ache that was growing from pulling on it so hard.
Billy placed two of his large hands-on opposite ends and gave it a hard push. The motion sent Kim jolting back into her seat, her eyes widening at how fast they had just moved. El was nearly on her lap, laughing so hard that she was beginning to hiccup. Max screamed in delight, keeping her hands on top of the wheel to try and keep up with his motions. Billy took over with ease, spinning them around faster and faster until even sound blurred past Kim’s ears.
“Oh my god!” She couldn’t tell if it was Lucas or Max that had yelled, only that it came from that direction. Billy was laughing, a genuine laugh like he was actually having fun. He was so strong that he was easily spinning them around in ease. Kim suddenly wished there were seatbelts in the ride, as Billy only seemed to move them faster. She couldn’t remember her father ever spinning her and Max this fast. She burst into nervous giggles, clutching onto El for dear life.
Soon, Kim became pressed into a tight sandwich with her sister and her two friends. The four of them were screaming with laughter as they clung to each other. Kim could feel her stomach rising into her chest and feared she may go flying from the teacup from how fast Billy was spinning them. The whole time he bore an amused smirk, looking unbothered.
Their teacup was the last one to finish spinning, taking far longer than anyone else as their speed slowed. Kim watched as trees, lights, and different shops that were once blurred into one object were becoming into different shapes. Kim’s whole world was spinning as she glanced back at Billy, their eyes meeting slowly.
“Again!” Lucas demanded as the teacup finally came to a slow stop. Everything was still spinning as she blinked, trying to focus as Lucas’s words rang in her ears. She turned her head at the same time El did, knocking her chin into her forehead.
“No!” Kim shook her head quickly as she rubbed her chin, wincing at the pain that coursed through her jaw, “No way, I’ll puke.” She admitted, still feeling like the Earth was spinning when she pulled herself away from the other three teens. Billy was laughing at their dizzy reactions but still wobbling himself as he stepped off of the ride. He took a hold of Kim’s hand to help her down and as quick as he noticed what he did he was letting go of her and helping the two younger girls down. She flexed her fingers, feeling the burning sensation travel up her hand.
Max swayed for a moment before catching her surroundings, “That was awesome.” Max grinned, looking up at her older brother in amazement. Lucas was stumbling next to her, a goofy expression written over his features.
“That was pretty fun,” Billy smirked as they followed the three younger teens, “You really don’t want to do it again?” Something about his tone sounded hopeful and she felt her decision swaying. She wanted to do more things with him, even if it left her feeling like she was drunk.
“Maybe later,” She replied almost shyly as she glanced towards him, ignoring how their bare skin was rubbing against each other, “Once I can see straight again.” She teased watching the way his lips curled into a genuine smile. She could feel her heart racing, liking how he seemed to appear happy for once.
“We should go get on another ride,” Max was bouncing forward, leading them on as they followed. Kim wasn’t a fan of too many rides, her fear of heights liked to keep her as close to the ground as possible. She looked at Billy who was wearing a goofy grin, “Oh, let’s do this one!” Kim followed a bit slower, still trying to stay balanced on her feet as she turned to look at Billy.
“What?” She asked Billy. He reached forward, pushing her hair out of her face. She felt her face burning and tried not to stare at him for too long. She didn’t want anyone to think anything suspicious of them. There were already too many eyes on them.
“Your hair is just crazy,” He said as he observed her wild hair. She quickly pulled it down and began to fix it up over her head again. He chuckled, “I didn't say it looked bad.” She shook her head, still feeling a bit dizzy as she walked with him.
“Crazy sounds bad to me.” She smiled playfully at him. It took her a second to realize how close she was to him before she took a couple steps to the side. She looked at the large Ferris wheel they were approaching, her nerves clenching up tightly as she realized what ride they wanted to get onto next.
“This is supposed to be the tallest one in Indiana, they borrowed it,” Lucas rambled excitedly, craning his head to look up at it, “We’ve gotta get on it at least once.” He turned to the other two girls his age and they mirrored his enthusiasm. Kim had heard exactly what she needed to hear for her to decide that this ride was not for her. No way would she willingly sit up that high in the sky.
“I’m not getting in that thing,” Kim protested as Billy and Max shifted them further in the line. Lucas beamed up at her, his fingers linked with Max’s, “There’s no way. I’m leaving.” Billy held his arm out to keep her from backing up any further. She glared at him.
“It’ll be over before you know it,” He persisted as she shot him a look. She didn’t care how fast it would be over with, she didn’t want to willingly climb to her death, “Come on, it’ll be fun.” He tried to encourage her. El nudged her forward, a gleeful smile painted on her lips.
“It’s almost our turn anyways. Don’t be such a wimp.” Max teased her. Kim thought about snapping back that she had no problem being a wimp as long as she didn’t get caged onto this machine. Lucas shifted Max forward as they took their spots on the empty ride. Kim felt her heart pumping in her chest and anxiety clenching around her as she stared up and up until she saw the top of the ferris wheel.
“You can hold my hand,” Billy whispered low enough so that no one could hear him, “I promise it’s not that bad.” She sighed, still not relaxing but nodding as she gave into his promise. If she fell to her death, he’d be the first person she’d haunt. The couple stepped off of their seats and Billy made his way forward. She felt her feet lingering in her steps before she finally followed him, briefly thinking about running away and not dealing with it.
She sat close to Billy, practically on his lap but too afraid to rest at the end of the cart in case it toppled over. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her heart as the ride attendant stepped up and buckled them in. She gripped at the leather, tightening it and earning a groan from Billy.
“I’m not falling out,” She told him, and he looked at her peculiarly while wincing from how tight the belt was around his waist. He shifted, his arm rested behind her shoulders so he wasn’t pressed up against her so tightly, “I can’t believe you forced me on this.” Their cart moved forwards and up into the air and she felt the wind whooshing her stomach up into her chest. She bit down on her lip hand, trying to erase her nerves. Billy’s free hand reached across her lap and took her small hand in his large one. She tried to focus on the feeling of their skin burning together rather than the sensation of being lifted into the air.
“I would catch you,” Billy chuckled as he rubbed his thumb across her hand softly. She could feel his rings against her fingers, “It won’t fall anyways. I mean, look at this view. Think of how you would’ve missed this.” He looked out dramatically. She peaked her eyes across the cart, noting that he was right. Everything did look a lot prettier this high in the sky. She could see the moon beginning to shine brighter as the last of the sun dipped beyond the trails in a blanket of orange and pink. The breeze danced between the trees, rustling the leaves as it carried its way towards them. She gripped his hand tighter when their cart shook.
“I think I’m going to be sick,” She muttered, urging her stomach to calm down. She did not like the feeling of being so high up in the air, no matter how pretty it looked. Billy laughed, tracing his hand against her shoulder, “It’s not funny.”
“That’s not why I’m laughing,” He smiled softly, “I’m just thinking about how my mom used to take me to the fair.” Her mind stopped racing as she glanced over towards him, drinking in the words that he was saying. She thought it was odd that he was speaking so much of his mother today. First it was the horse, now it was fair rides. She had just assumed that he had never been before from the way he hadn’t mentioned anything.
“Did you like these death traps?” She questioned, a small smile playing on her face as she watched as the sunset lit up his features. She thought that this looked like where he belonged, with the warm sun decorating his features. He smiled as he faced her.
“Yeah, I find them relaxing. I could stay up here all day.” She wanted to rest her head against his shoulder, to curl up and listen to him talking. She was so intrigued with him. She inhaled again when they were pushed higher into the sky. Billy chuckled, rubbing his thumb in circles around her hand. She felt herself smiling sweetly at him.
Kim had to admit that he was right about the view. The last of the sun's pretty colors were finally dipping underneath the hill as the moon took its place. She suddenly thought of how tragic it must be for the moon to never fully experience how pretty, warm and bright the sun was. It was surrounded by stars but constantly missed out on the bright golden orb that would hang in the sky. She turned to look at Billy again, noticing how he still seemed to be golden and warm even as the night air settled around them. Her eyes traced over his pink lips, towards his sloped nose and freckled cheeks. She lingered against his soft eyes that were surrounded by thick eyelashes as he looked out below them. He curled his eyebrow up as he turned to her, waiting for her to speak.
“Nothing,” She spit out quickly, feeling her cheeks growing warm. She wasn’t sure how she would explain that she was comparing him to the sun, “It’s not that bad.” She muttered as she looked down towards her shoes. He squeezed her hand softly, not saying anything as the ride began to move again. She could still feel her heart hammering, but she was no longer worried about her fear of heights, no. She was worried about a different feeling that was brewing inside of her.
“See, nothing to be afraid of,” They were at the very top now, sitting there almost peacefully as the crowds of people below them began to fade away. She was convinced there was still plenty to be afraid of, but it wasn’t nearly as bad as what it was before. Her heart was still beating fast, and her face was warm as she turned to him again. He hadn’t dressed fancy at all, a simple pair of jeans and a white t-shirt. That was it. Yet, she still thought that he looked better than anyone here. Better than the movie stars she’d see on screen or the models that graced her book covers, “Why are you so speechless?” He questioned, looking at her uncertain. She opened her mouth and closed it again.
“Just,” She exhaled deeply, letting all of the air leave her lungs before she filled them anew, “Thinking. I’m just thinking about a lot of things.” They were so close and most of that had been her fault from how tightly she had pulled the seatbelt around them. Still, he wasn’t making any effort to pull away as his blue eyes raked over her flushed features.
“Penny for your thoughts?” He flipped a coin playfully in his hand, his other arm still resting behind her shoulder. He cocked a grin as he watched her, and she battled herself on what would be the appropriate thing to say. She wanted to believe that he was fighting with his feelings just as deeply as she was, but she knew it wasn’t true. She was the only one that was lost within herself at the moment. He had known that before. She wouldn’t be the reason everything came crashing around them again, not when this had been so nice.
“I’ve thought about applying to colleges in California,” She said quickly, changing the subject quickly. Billy’s eyebrows furrowed like he hadn’t been expecting her to say that, “But I don’t want to leave-,” You, I don’t want to leave you. She wanted to say, instead she took another deep breath, “My family. I don’t want to be so far away from everyone.” It felt less personal, but she still wasn’t happy with her answer. She felt as if there were a million different ways, she could express herself that he didn’t understand.
“There’s these things called phones,” Billy chuckled after a minute, playing with the hair that was touching the base of neck. It erupted her skin into goosebumps, “Y’know and you can call people whenever you want.” He teased her softly. She forced a smile.
“You don’t understand. None of my friends back home have spoken to me since we moved. I have one really good friend here. I just, I don’t want to be lonely again.” She admitted, clasping her hands together on her lap as they began their descent backwards towards the ground. Billy thought for a minute.
“Being lonely sucks, but I’m sure you’d make new friends. Meet someone.” He spoke up after a moment, his blue eyes lingering across her lips. She wondered if he wanted to kiss her as badly as she wanted to kiss him.
“I don’t know if my guy is in California anymore.” She admitted softly, glancing out towards the line that was waiting as people began to get unloaded. She could see the back of her sister’s head now. They would be getting out next. Billy reached across her gently, slowly unhooking her belt as he freed them.
“You’ll find him,” He pressed his large thumb against her nose, squishing it softly, “You’re still young. There’s no rush.” She knew she was young, but she still felt as if she had lost out so much of her youth from maturing so fast. She thought of her mom's words.
She didn’t have time to reply as they were rushed out of the cart, trying to fill it quickly with another couple before they wasted too much time. Kim hopped down the side of the steps, joining her sister and her friends, “You know you guys don’t have to wait for us, right?” She asked, looking at how the three teens were looking at each other mischievously. Usually, they had run off by now.
“See, it’s interesting you say that because -,” Lucas began to speak as he glanced over at Max. She extended her hand slowly.
“We’re hungry. And Thirsty. Also, we're very broke.” Kim scoffed, glancing to look back at Billy who was staring at the three of them amused. Max was supposed to bring the money from her savings but had obviously neglected to do so.
“One drink and one foot item,” Billy told them, glancing around at the booths, “You might have to share drinks. Little shits.” He muttered as the three of them took off, most likely looking for the most expensive items they could find.
You haven’t even lost your temper once,” Kim applauded him as they followed the three teens, “And you haven’t smoked. This is like a new record.” She teased as they walked past groups of families. Some of the people in this crowd she could faintly recognize, most of them looking like they went to school with her. She wasn’t sure of their names. Billy grunted, his shoulder brushing against hers.
“Don’t remind me. It’s torture,” He teased as they caught up to the teens. They were stopped in front of a stall that smelt of grease and salty French fries. Kim could feel her stomach twisting as she began to think of how she really was hungry, “What do you shits want?” He grumbled as he reached for his wallet again. She wasn’t sure how he was able to pay so easily for all of them. Perhaps, he was better at saving his money than what she was. They listed off their orders and Kim faltered as Billy turned to face her.
“Corn dog,” She pointed to the item on the menu. Billy raised an eyebrow, but she shoved it off, “Oh and a cherry coke?” She asked sweetly. She felt bad, she really didn’t mean for him to pay for everything. However, she wasn’t going to fight him for as long as he was being nice and offering.
He mumbled something under his breath before he was ordering everything for them, glancing back every so often to make sure that he had gotten it correct. She could feel her heart thumping as she crossed her arms and waited to the side with her sister and her friends, “I didn’t know Billy was this cool.” Lucas admitted. Kim smiled softly, making sure to remember to tell the older boy what Lucas had said later.
“He’s not cool,” Max corrected him, “He’s just being weird.” Kim watched as Max shrugged it off. She seemed keen on admitting that nothing had changed between the two of them. She didn’t think that Max should be upset with herself that she had cried over him.
“I’m not carrying all of this,” Billy looked over his shoulder to look at them. The three teens rushed forward first, grabbing their items. El took an extra second to linger next to him and thank him again. Kim was still smiling when she stepped up and took her plate, “There’s your weird corn dog.” She gaped as she followed him.
“How are corn dogs weird?” Billy sat across from Max, hooking his long legs inside the table. She looked down at the greasy burger he had on his plate. He shrugged, ripping open a ketchup packet with his teeth.
“They’re just gross,” He spoke up as he took a large bite from his burger. She felt her eyebrows furrowing as she looked down at the golden corn dog sitting perfectly on a basket of hot fries, “And weird.” He shrugged at her.
“You can’t tell me this doesn’t look delicious,” She paraded her corn dog up high as she rested her elbows on the table. She thought it was beautifully golden, thick and juicy. Just the way she liked it. She waved it in his face playfully as he laughed, motioning over her shoulder.
“I think one of the cows got out,” She turned away for a moment, looking for what he was speaking of when he made his move. She felt the arm that was holding her corn dog shift and she turned in horror, looking at the giant bite he had taken from it, “Hm, not terrible I guess.” He responded as he chewed it slowly like he was savoring the taste.
“Are you serious?” She felt her eyes narrowing as she watched him. He grinned, shrugging his shoulders as he chewed on her corndog.
“You said it was delicious, I thought it was an invitation,” Max giggled from across the table, her arm brushing against Lucas’s arm softly. Kim grumbled, fumbling with a packet of ketchup as she stared at the giant bite out of her food, “Here, why don’t you try this? I think it’s Angus’s little brother.” He teased as he held his burger up. She gasped.
“Don’t bring Angus into this,” She teased as she put three packets of ketchup onto the top of her corndog. He stared at it for a moment, “This is a perfectly healthy amount of ketchup. Don’t judge.” She brushed him off as she ate off what was left.
“Whose Angus?” El asked, tilting her head confused. Kim fought the grin on her lips as she chewed, Billy snorted softly and shook his head. Max looked towards the brunette girl.
“Don’t worry about it, they’re idiots,” Max shook her head as she spoke, “You know what this would really taste good with? Funnel Cake.” She shot a look towards her older sister, knowing she couldn’t ever resist the sweet treats.
“Don’t look at me,” Billy grumbled, “That was already way too expensive.” Kim sipped on her drink slyly, thinking about it. It had been a long time since she had any funnel cake. She started to stand, grabbing her corn dog with her.
“I’ll be right back.” She smiled sweetly, watching how Billy looked towards her betrayed.
“You had money this whole time?” He shouted after her, but she made her way towards the food vendors with haste, a smile sticking to her face the whole time. She didn’t think it was possible to be around Billy this long and actually have fun with him. It was like he was different.
“Can I get one funnel cake?” She stepped forward, pulling her cash out, “Extra powdered sugar too.” She felt her cheeks redden a bit at the request. She quickly put her change away, stepping back as she waited.
She glanced around, feeling her stomach beginning to shrink and her smile fade as she noticed a freckled boy coming into view. She felt herself shifting, trying to hide away so he wouldn’t notice her. That feeling quickly faded away when another girl came into view, her fingers interlocked with his.
Kim found herself sighing in relief as she turned and watched them dump the powdered sugar onto her hot bread. She felt thankful seeing Tommy with someone else. She hoped that he could truly leave her alone now. She didn’t want to be mean; she just wasn’t interested, and he wasn’t worth the hassle that followed.
“Thank you,” She smiled kindly at the worker as she took a hold of the hot plate. She began to trek back towards the tables, holding it cautiously so she didn’t spill it everywhere. That would be her luck.
“Where’d Lucas and Billy go?” Kim asked as she reapproached the two girls with a plate of funnel cake. She really wasn’t sure if she could eat much more but it smelt that good. Max huffed and then pointed her fork towards her left. Kim set the plate down and glanced over, looking at how the two boys were playing a basketball game.
“They’re bonding.” El spoke in a soft, sweet way as she pressed her enclosed against her cheeks and pretended to swoon against Max. The younger redhead heated up in flames, mumbling under her breath as she stabbed her fork into the funnel cake. Kim giggled, wondering if she looked the same way when she got embarrassed.
“That’s nice,” She teased as she ripped off a small corner of cake before sliding it along the powdered sugar, wiping up as much of the powdered sugar as she could before placing it on her tongue. It melted in her mouth in a strange sensation of warmth and sugary sweetness, “Maybe Lucas will win you a stuffed animal.” She spoke slyly, watching how Max’s blue eyes shot up towards her accusingly.
“Are you jealous that I have a boyfriend?” Max had always been a spitfire, using her words first before she thought of how they may affect the other person. The mood turned sour as Kim felt her smile drop, all of the playfulness leaving her. She should’ve known better than to tease her, knowing how much it bothered her little sister. She gulped down the bitter food in her mouth, trying to act like the words didn’t bother her. She knew they shouldn’t, that Max didn’t really mean what she was saying. But it still hit that sensitive spot in her heart. Her younger sister always seemed to be more experienced than what she was.
El nudged the younger redhead, shooting her a disapproving look as their conversation turned quiet, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean that.” Max muttered out after a second, taking another bite of the funnel cake. Kim suddenly wasn’t hungry anymore, but she nodded along, not wanting to ruin the atmosphere anymore.
“Look what I won,” Lucas held up the grumpy, blue care bear. His expression was less than happy, “I wanted the baseball glove.” He sat back down next to the girls, almost defeated. Kim thought about rubbing it in her little sister’s face that he hadn’t even offered her the stuffed animal but stayed quiet. She didn’t need to fight back.
“You okay?” Billy slid into the table next to Kim, looking at her questionably. She smiled back stiffly, nodding as she motioned towards the funnel cake that the three teenagers were now devouring.
“Did you try it? It’s pretty good.” She changed the subject, too embarrassed to admit what she was upset about. Billy watched her curiously for a second before he shrugged.
“I’m not crazy about funnel cake. I like spicy stuff.” He nudged her thigh with his knee as he spoke, a small grin placing against the corner of his lips. She laughed softly, rolling her eyes.
“You also said you didn’t like corn dogs, but you ate like half of mine,” She exaggerated as she nibbled on her fries. His blue eyes watched her amused, “You didn’t win anything?” He shook his head no.
“I was giving him pointers.” Billy responded blandly. Kim tilted her head as she watched him, still desperately wishing she could understand what he was thinking.
“About the game or about Max?” She asked quietly. He gave her his answer in the form of a mischievous grin. If that was the case, they had truly come a long way from where they had once been a few months ago. She liked this Billy better.
“Is it okay if we go look for our friends now?” Max spoke up after a few minutes. Kim glanced towards Billy but shrugged her own shoulders. She thought that there was more than enough to keep the teens occupied. She didn’t have reason to believe that they would leave the fairgrounds.
“Just meet back at the entrance after the fireworks, around 11. I don’t want to go to jail because of your dad.” Billy teased El softly. Kim watched how her cheeks flared up into pink splotches. Max rose first, throwing her trash away.
“Sure, see you!” Max was off quickly, leaving the other two teens to scramble to throw away their own trash as they hurried to follow her. Kim sat, facing Billy as she crossed her legs over the bench and sucked on her straw.
“What do you want to do?” She asked him, not really feeling like living through her sister tonight. Billy grinned widely, his eyes lingering against her lips.
“Nothing appropriate,” He chuckled softly, swinging his leg over the bench seat so he could face her as well, “We could try out luck at some of the games?” He asked, tilting his head as he waited for her reaction.
“You don’t want to ride anything else?” She asked him slowly, not wanting to spoil his fun for the night. His lips curled into a smirk, his eyes lingering over her form.
“Not any of these rides,” His eyes drifted down towards her cleavage and back at her reddened features, “Do you want to try and play a game?” She ignored his previous comment and nodded, trying to keep cool.
“I’m probably not going to win anything but sure,” She stood up after him, following his long strides. Their hands brushed against each other gently as they walked. Kim glanced down, noticing how he flexed his fingers as he pulled away from her, “Do you want to do the ring toss?” She motioned towards one of the stalls. She looked back suddenly, noticing how Billy had stopped and looked panicked. She looked at him concerned.
“Oh shit, shit, shit,” Billy cursed, glancing around wildly while Kim turned to him alarmed. He ducked away, hiding to the side of one of the booths. She stared at him, watching as he tried to swat her away, “I’m not here.” She wasn’t sure what he was meaning until she looked at the brunette girl barreling towards her.
Tina approached Kim, looking unsure for a moment before she took another step forward. Kim looked around awkwardly, unsure of what she had to offer for the shorter brunette. Tina shoved her hands into her pink shorts. Kim’s smile felt frozen as she realized Tina wasn’t speaking, “Yes?” She questioned slowly, rubbing her arm.
“Did you say something to Billy?” Tina was forcing a smile on her face, but Kim could tell how distraught she looked, “He just hasn’t been answering my calls. I thought things were going so well the other night.” Tina replied pitifully. Kim fidgeted with her fingers, still not used to having to let girls down for Billy.
“Why would I say anything to him?” Kim looked towards the other girl awkwardly. Kim knew that she really did have a big reason that Billy wasn’t seeing her anymore. The other girl didn’t need to know that. Tina frowned, watching her intensely.
“Could you just tell him that I’ve tried to call? I just want to know what I did wrong.” Kim nodded, doing her best to look sincere. She was sure Billy was behind the booth listening in on their conversation, but even if he wasn’t she wouldn’t tell him. She still didn’t like Tina.
“Sure, um, have a good night,” Kim took a step back, pretending to be interested in a menu from a food vendor. She waited until Tina walked away again, she glanced at where Billy had been hiding as he stepped out sheepishly, “That was cold.” She told him, shaking her head.
“Sorry about that, I did try and talk to her by the way,” Billy motioned Kim in the opposite direction, most likely trying to separate himself from Tina as much as possible, “She said she wouldn’t take no for an answer.” Kim tried not to snort. She felt like she had already warned Billy about that.
“Yeah, well she hasn’t been the first one that’s asked about you,” Kim teased, their shoulders brushing against each other again as they walked, “You have no idea how many girls have asked me for advice on how to get into your bed.” Billy cracked a smile, looking at her.
“Did you scare them off?” He teased softly, his blue eyes lingering against the different gaming stands. Kim thought that he was probably looking for another basketball one or one that dealt with sports. She wondered what he would do now that he was out of school, and he was no longer playing any sports. It seemed to be the one thing that he actually enjoyed with school.
“Ha, real funny,” She shook her head watching as Billy stopped at a pick a duck stand. She stood close to him, looking down at the different colored rubber ducks swimming in the small plastic pool, “Are you any good at this?” She asked as he handed a dollar towards the worker. He shrugged.
“Never done it before. Which one do you think?” He turned to face her. She felt her eyes lingering against his features for a moment before she leaned forward to get a good look at the ducks. Her hand brushed against his gently again and she felt her whole hand catch on fire.
“What’s your favorite color?” She asked suddenly, looking at the different colored ducks that were in the water. It felt odd that she had been with him so long and didn’t know the simple things about him.
“Blue, I guess.” He spoke after a second. She could feel his eyes lingering on the side of her face as she looked into the water. She examined the different ducks swimming around, figuring that she probably had her father's luck when it came to gambling. She tried anyways.
“Do that one, no the other one,” She told him, pointing towards one of the blue ducks floating on the outer edge from the rest of the ducks. It was gently bumping into a pink one as it moved in the pool. Billy reached forward, picking it up as he looked at the green dot on the bottom of it, “Oh cool, what did you win?” Billy shrugged, showing it off to the worker.
“Congrats,” The worker pushed a cold can of Coke towards Billy. Kim watched how Billy looked a bit irritated but took it nonetheless, “Come again!” The worker yelled as they turned away. Billy grumbled and popped the cap off before taking a big swig. He handed the bottle to Kim, and she was glad for the cold drink when the air just seemed to be getting hotter.
“That was a waste of time,” Billy spoke up after a second. She shrugged, feeling a bit pleased that he had asked for her opinion, and she had found something else out about him, “What do you want to try?”
“What about that one?” She pointed towards the booth that held four high top chairs. There were multiple bullseye targets that were held up high in the booth. It was one of the games that Max loved to play. She was always a lot better at using the fake guns to hit the target than Kim was.
“Sure,” Billy headed that way, “You’re burning me out of my money, Red.” He teased as he pulled his wallet out. She gulped hard, feeling bad as she began to rummage for her cash again.
“I can pay for it,” She insisted as they stepped forward, waiting for four younger kids to finish their turns. Billy shrugged her off, “No really. I feel bad.” He grinned at her, still shaking his head no.
“I didn’t mean for you to feel bad. I was just teasing you,” He nudged her softly with his shoulder. She shifted a bit on her feet, smiling up at him and watching to make sure that he really meant what he said, “Are you wanting another stuffed animal?” He asked as his eyes lingered against the plushies that were hanging inside of the booth. Kim bit her lip as she smiled.
“That wasn’t my purpose of picking this stand” She told him slowly, “But I do love stuffed animals.” She concluded, looking quite proud as she thought about her collection of stuffed animals she had already. Billy turned towards her amused.
“You’d use that one?” He motioned towards the giant, fat teddy hanging up that she was sure was the size of Max. She glanced at him, a bit excited.
“He looks like he would be comfortable to nap on,” She told him as he slid the money towards the next worker, “I don’t think he’d fit in my room though.” She admitted, thinking of how tiny her room was already. She was slightly worried about what Neil would say if she appeared with such a large stuffed animal anyways.
“You’re something else,” Billy spoke softly as he sat down at the last seat. She sat next to him, holding the gun up playfully while he shook his head at her. She wondered how much more of her he could take before he got bored. She wasn’t sure that they had actually hung out in this way for this long before, “I like it.” He sent her a sly wink as he got himself into position. She paused for a moment, trying not to search deeper for what his words may have meant.
Kim found out she was still bad at her aiming skills. She did manage to knock a few of the targets down but it was nothing special. She glanced towards Billy, watching as he knocked down every target he aimed at, “That was mine.” She whined as he knocked one of hers down. He laughed.
“Then you should’ve hit it,” He teased, continuing to strike down all of the targets as soon as they popped back up. She scoffed, trying to adjust her hold on the toy gun as she aimed it again. Just like sports, her hand eye coordination sucked when it came to situations like this, “Ooh, well nice try.” He grinned at her, leaning over to read her low score.
“Shut up,” She grumbled as she stood up from the seat, “I tried my best, that’s all that matters.” She reminded herself as they made their way to the prize table. She had still achieved enough to win a small prize.
“Whatever you say, Red.” She glared at him from the nickname that seemed to be sticking. He only looked proud of himself as they waited for the kids in front of them to claim their prizes. She peeped forward, trying to get a good look at what prizes they had hidden.
“I want the blue scrunchie I guess,” Kim leaned over as she looked into the bowl of small prizes, “Oh and the snickers bar.” She smiled up at the worker as he handed them towards her. She slid the scrunchie over her wrist and held onto her chocolate bar. Billy looked at her amused, but she shrugged, holding onto his Coke bottle while he examined the prizes.
“That one,” He spoke up and she looked over her shoulder as she worked on opening her candy bar, “Thanks.” Kim took a bite of her candy bar as she watched the rush of kids go past them. She was sure it was almost time for the fireworks to set off. She turned to Billy, looking at the stuffed Highland Cow in his hands.
“For the memory of Angus,” He grinned as he held it out towards her. She felt her heart thumping in her chest roughly as she swallowed the rest of the chocolate hard in her mouth. She felt the smile erupt on her face as she looked at his bashful reaction, “There wasn’t anything else. I don’t like stuffed animals.” He said quickly.
She stayed quiet, taking the stuffed animal gently from his hands. Her fingers brushed against his and she paused for a moment before she slid the scrunchie off of her wrist and onto his. He looked up at her, raising an eyebrow.
“Now we’re even,” She replied sweetly, looking up at him proudly as she held the stuffed animal to her side. She felt her heart racing at the cheerful expression that spread upon his golden features. She thought of how rare it was to see him like this, how badly she wanted to see him looking like this more often, “You don’t actually have to use it.” She replied quickly, unsure if it would be too girlish for him.
“No, I love it. Thank you,” He grinned as he watched her expression turn to glee, “I’ll use it all the time.” He chuckled softly. Her hand lingered near his wrist where she had put the scrunchie on him. She felt her hand beginning to move to press against his, wanting to intertwine their fingers together.
“Kim?” She was drawn away, snapping her hand quickly to her side as her friend approached. Addi smiled as she stepped forward, the shorter girl hugging the redhead. Eddie lingered behind, looking excited as he held a bag of popcorn in his hand.
“Hey,” Kim breathed out quickly, glancing at Billy worried for a moment before she looked at her friend’s dark eyes again, “I tried to look for you earlier.” Kim responded nervously. She was lying, but she didn’t think it would matter. She had thought that they had mentioned meeting up at some point. She had become too enthralled with Billy.
“Oh my god, it’s so busy here,” Addi spoke up as Billy began to walk away. Kim was worried he was leaving her completely but found a small relief as he approached Eddie. She wondered if they only talked about drugs or if they actually had anything in common, “I didn’t expect it to be so packed I guess.” Kim nodded at her friend, completely agreeing with her. She really hadn't paid that much attention to the crowd, too busy enjoying her time with Billy.
“I didn’t either,” Kim admitted but the usual large crowds hadn’t bothered her quite so much tonight, “It’s been fun though. I got this.” She held up the stuffed cow proudly. She didn’t mention that she hadn’t been the one to technically win it. Addi was quiet for a moment, like she already knew how she had achieved the stuffed animal.
“You’re hanging out with Billy quite a bit.” Addi observed, her dark eyes lingering against her friend's sheepish expression. Kim glanced back at the older boy, noticing he was talking casually with Eddie about something. She knew it was wrong, but she felt herself indulging in fantasies where she was able to go on double dates with him and her friend.
“He’s my ride,” Kim started to defend herself, “Plus I can’t always be your third wheel.” Kim teased but began to feel bad as her friend's expression turned to worry. Still, it was better to make her feel guilty than to be suspicious of the two of them.
“Oh, Kim, I'm not trying to abandon you. I didn’t know you felt that way. I’m so sorry.” Addi rushes out, looking at her sincerely. Kim didn’t mean it in a serious manner but figured anything would do to get the topic off of Billy.
“I’m just not used to sharing you with someone else,” She joked again as she ran her fingers along her freckled arm. She kept the stuffed cow close to her chest, “I’m just teasing you anyways.” She smiled but her friend still looked worried.
“You know, we could do fun things as couples if you got a boyfriend,” Addi nudged her playfully, “I still think we need to work on Steve.” Kim sighed softly, before shaking her head no.
“I think that ship has already sailed. I appreciate you trying though,” Kim admitted softly, “I’ll get a boyfriend eventually, I just don’t need one right now.” She glanced back towards Billy, watching how his blue eyes met hers. She felt her heart beginning to beat faster and she tried not to think about how handsome he looked at the moment. Addi looked like she was going to be stubborn for a moment but then quickly nodded her head in agreement.
“Okay, but don’t be a stranger. Let’s plan a slumber party?” Kim nodded in agreement, feeling a bit excited. She always liked going to her friend's house. She never felt as if she had to walk on eggshells while she was there.
“I probably can’t this week,” Kim sighed softly as she remembered Neil’s bonding suggestion, “We’re going camping or something dumb like that.” Addi looked a bit amused but nodded.
“Some time when you get back then. Promise?” She held out her pinky and Kim quickly interlocked hers as well. It would be nice to have a night away from Neil and everything that had happened since. Eddie and Billy made their way back over.
“Always a pleasure, Kim,” Eddie nodded towards her before pulling his girlfriend back in his arms. Kim wished for nothing more than to be able to do the same thing with Billy, “You ready?” He asked Addi, placing a kiss against her cheek. The tanned girl nodded, waving towards her friend.
“Don’t forget about me!” Kim teased as they walked away. Billy stepped near her, a soft smile pressing against his lips.
“I’m gonna go smoke, you want to join?” He was already fumbling with his pack of cigarettes as he spoke. She wasn’t particularly fond of being trapped along the stinky smoke but nodded along anyways. She didn’t want to be left all alone either.
“Yeah, did you find out where you go?” He shrugged but snaked his way behind one of the booths. She followed him confused, stepping out into a small empty clearing. He lit his cigarette quickly and she could tell the crowd and bustling of people had finally reached his limit.
“I think this will work.” He shrugged, looking around for a moment. Smoke tumbled free from his lips as he smoked. She hated how badly it smelt but couldn’t deny that he looked good doing it.
“I think Addi was suspicious.” She blurted out suddenly, thinking about what her friend had said a few minutes ago. She had hinted at them hanging out a lot and really didn’t know if that was classified as being suspicious or not. It was enough for her worried mind as she watched the older boy's reaction.
“Is she suspicious or are you overreacting?” He took a large drag of his cigarette as he stared at the red head. She picked at her cotton candy. There were fresh freckles aligned on her hair and cheeks, her face red from the heat and sun. She was sure she looked like a strawberry.
“You always think I’m overreacting,” She tried not to sound whiny, “Addi is my best friend. I know her. She’s suspicious.” Kim tried to convince him, looking into his blue eyes seriously in hopes that he would actually listen to her this time.
“What do you suggest then?” Billy spoke after a moment, his hard eyes softening as he looked at the worried girl. She was thankful he wasn’t brushing her off.
“I think,” She sighed softly, “That being exclusive isn’t the best idea right now. I mean- I’m not saying you have to fuck other people but, maybe we do need to be seen with others.” She admitted slowly, not liking the idea herself. She knew he would have no problem finding a date. Maybe as long as it looked like he was still seeing other people everything would be okay.
“So you want me to go on dates now?” He questioned, looking at her unsure. She felt her cheeks growing redder and more wished her hair wasn’t up on her head so she could hide her face, “You got upset last time.” She wanted to argue that it was because he was seeing Tina but kept quiet.
“I know,” She sounded bashful as she spoke, “But I also don’t want us to get caught.” She spoke slowly, unsure of her own words. She didn’t want to feel so possessive of Billy, but she was. She couldn’t understand why she wanted him all to herself.
“You’re not going to bitch about it?” He looked down at his hands while he smoked. She frowned, clutching the stuffed animal to her chest again, feeling a bit defensive of herself.
“I don’t bitch about things,” She responded weakly as she straightened her shoulders up. He glanced at her amused, “I just don’t understand why you should see terrible people.” He was quiet for a moment, like he was actually considering it. He shrugged his shoulders softly.
“So, you think I should ask Heather out?” She could feel her heart dropping lower in her stomach as he brought up the pretty brunette. She paused for a minute, swallowing a rock in her throat as she nodded.
“If that’s who you want to ask out. She seems nice.” She tried to force the bitter tone out of her voice as she spoke. She couldn’t be mad; she was the one to suggest it. There were too many people who were suspicious of them at the moment. This was for the best, she tried to convince herself.
“Hm,” Billy grunted, nodding his head as he put his cigarette out, “I guess so. You’re not going to find someone else?” Kim smiled meekly. He knew well enough that there wasn't anyone who was interested in her, and he wouldn't approve of them either way. She was scared of what Neil would say now anyways.
“Probably not, your dad was scary the other day,” She admitted as she rubbed her hand over arm, “I don’t really want to get in trouble again.” She watched as Billy frowned, taking her scabbed hand in his. He looked it over for a minute.
“I’ll think about it,” He said after a moment of thinking to himself, “There’s not anyone I want to see right now.” He shrugged as he blew out smoke towards her. She smiled, despite the terrible smell of his cigarette as her hand lingered in his. She savored the feeling of their skin together, how warm she felt at the moment just standing there with him.
“I just don’t want to hold you back or anything,” She told him quickly, beginning to let his hand go. He looked at her curiously, tilting his head as he put his cigarette out. She glanced over at the sound of a child crying loudly nearby. He stepped towards her, and she glanced at his eyes, suddenly feeling like he was towering over her, “Billy.” She warned as her pulse quickened in her neck from how close he was standing to her.
“You’re not holding me back if there’s no one else I want to be with,” He grinned as his hands rested against her hips softly. She bit her lip, feeling his touch travel through her body as she glanced up at him nervously. He didn’t seem bothered at the fact that anyone could pull the curtain back from the booth and see them like this. She didn’t need anyone else breathing down their backs. She was sure nothing good would come if anyone found out, “Why are you pulling away?” He sounded serious as he watched her with those blue eyes, she had become so accustomed to.
“Billy,” Kim’s hands rested against his chest softly, trying to push her away from him as gently as she could, “There’s so many people here. We can’t.” He looked at her, giving her a challenge as he stepped closer to her. She gasped as her back hit against the hard stall wall. She glanced around nervously.
“No one’s on this side, no one can see,” He told her gently as he rubbed her sides with his large hands, “Just relax a bit. Have some fun.” Her heart was hammering in her chest as she stared up at him. She wanted to do this badly, but the thought of how disappointed her mother seemed in her the other night kept drawing her away.
“Someone might see.” She responded weakly as he loomed in closer to her. She could see his light freckles that decorated his cheeks from this position, the way his left eye had just a small amount of green in them. His right arm hooked around her waist, pulling her flush against him as he cupped her squishy cheek.
“I don’t hear anyone. Do you?” He questioned her as he tilted his head. She watched the way his blonde curls touched his shoulder. She pulled her eyes away to the right of her, checking the empty field and tall trees that stood near them. To her left, was the back of the fair booths. They were mainly covered by wooden stands and cheap tarps. She shook her head, looking at him again, “No one will know if we have a quick kiss.” He encouraged her, tilting her chin up to look at him. She met his intense gaze, fearing she would see a small, scared little girl reflecting in his eyes.
“Billy-,” She started, still not assured that they were really safe. They were still in public. He took control, dipping his lips onto hers to cut off her voice of reason. He moved his lips against hers slowly, sucking on her bottom lip gently and with care. Her whole body grew warm from where he was touching, spreading across her like a wildfire. She broke down and allowed herself to be open to him, his fingers pulled against the fabric of her shirt gently.
His hands traced over her bare skin, sending shivers down her back as she sighed out softly at the feeling of being held on by him. His tongue slid inside of her mouth, rubbing against her own as he rubbed soft circles into her skin. She felt a moan leave her mouth as he pressed her up against him and she could feel his bulge against her thigh. She tried to clear her lust filled thoughts and remember where they were, but it was hard to. He tasted so good, felt so warm towards her.
“Let’s go somewhere.” Billy muttered as they pulled away. She stared at his pink, plump lips that were still wet. She could feel her heart thumping hard against her ribcage as she thought about her little sister. She had been given strict orders to make sure that she didn't run off on her own. Now, here Kim was trying to leave her behind. It was an odd feeling.
“What about Max?” She questioned him, not wanting to get in trouble for leaving the younger girl behind. She also didn’t want Hopper to actually do something that would get Billy in trouble with Neil. He slid her hands up the back of her shirt softly.
“We’re just going somewhere to watch the fireworks, she’ll be fine,” She must’ve looked unconvinced because he pulled his hands away from her back and cupped her soft cheeks again, “I promise. She’s hanging out with her friends right now. We’ll find her after the fireworks.” He promised, placing a gentle kiss against her lips. She thought for a moment before nodding. It was worth the risk.
“Come on,” He reached his hand out towards her and as badly as she wanted to take it, she couldn’t. She smiled bashfully and walked near him instead. There may not be anyone near them at the moment but that didn’t mean someone could see. She was already worried about their kiss. There were too many people out and about for them to not be careful, “Let’s stop by my car first.” He muttered softly, shaking away her actions. He paused by a booth as they began to exit, pulling out two glasses of Coke before swiftly walking away. She stared at him horrified.
“You have to pay for those.” She whispered towards him harshly, glancing over her shoulder in worry. No one seemed to notice but she sped her pace up a bit faster just in case. He chuckled, glancing over her as he shook his head.
“No one’s going to notice.” He handed her a bottle, which she took hesitantly. She held the cold glass bottle in her palm and tried not to think about being caught with it as they made their way out the exit. She was sure she would cry and plead innocence if they were caught. No one seemed to notice, but her heart was still racing from the idea of being caught.
She walked out towards the familiar Camaro, noticing how everyone was walking inside the Fun Fair except for them. She was unsure of where he was leading her. She didn’t want to wander too far away from Max in case she needed something. He reached for his keys, popping the trunk open.
“Here,” Billy opened the trunk, allowing for her to place the stuffed cow in there. She handed it towards him, holding their drinks in her hands as he dipped into the trunk. He exchanged the cow for a bright red blanket with the 49ers symbol on the middle of it. She watched him curiously as he shut the trunk, “Let’s go.” She followed behind him, glancing back and forth between him and the ground cautiously.
“Where’s it at?” She was already out of breath as she followed him up a steep hill. She could feel the sweat beginning to form at the base of her neck and on her forehead. Her legs were straining as she struggled to keep up with his effortless pacing.
“It’s just up here. We’ll get the best view, I promise.” She inhaled deeply, trying to fill her lungs as she nodded with whatever he said. She thought that she may need to start exercising a bit more with how badly she was struggling to keep up with him.
They finally stepped into a flat clearing, not completely surrounded by trees. She looked around at the hot tufts of grass that brushed against her ankles. She wondered if he had been up here before. It really was beautiful. There was a slight breeze from how high up they were, and the Ferris wheel seemed to be small in this position. She glanced up at the stars before she looked back at him.
“You’re right,” She finally caught her breath, getting her heart rate back to normal as he examined the ground around them. She found herself growing anxious again as she looked back at the grass, hoping there wasn’t any hidden snakes, “What are you doing?” She asked him after a second.
He glanced up at her, smiling as he unwrapped his blanket, “Finding a good spot,” He must’ve been happy with where he was as he sat the blanket down, unfolding it dramatically. She walked over slowly, setting their drinks down near the blanket. Her heart was thumping as she watched him sit down, patting the spot next to him so she could join him, "Are you still on your period?" Billy questioned, not looking bothered if she was. She shook her head no quickly, thinking about how hard it would be to clean up the mess this time if she was.
“We’re not too far away, are we?” She questioned him, sitting far enough away so that they weren’t touching. He gave her a look, pulling at the back of her thighs so that she was pulled closer towards him. She giggled softly, her back resting against the blanket as he positioned himself between her legs. He bent down, looking at her with dilated blue eyes.
He was rough, his hands touching everywhere he could as he pressed her up against the ground. She was holding onto him just as tightly, trying to keep up to the motion of his lips as he squeezed her breasts. She squealed from the sudden sensation, and he took no time in diving into her mouth with his tongue. It was sloppy, the mixture of their kiss was coating the side of her lips.
She urged for the cool Earth against her skin to wake her up, to pull her away from his trance. It was like she was only pulled deeper towards him as her fingers found his golden curls. She traced her hand through them softly, earning a soft groan from him in response.
“You’ve been ignoring me,” He peppered kisses across the side of her lips, down to her chin, “All night I’ve tried to touch you and you keep pushing away.” He accused, his words shooting straight to her heart and filling her stomach with guilt. She didn’t think she had been doing it all night.
“If someone sees-,” She started only for him to kiss her again. He was swallowing her words, like he could erase them from her memory and make her think of things his way. He thought she was overreacting; she was sure of it.
“Can I not hold my little sister's hand?” He pulled away, both hands cupping her face softly. His elbows were near her shoulders, hovering his weight on top of her. She felt her whole-body lighting on fire, and it wasn’t from the heat outside. He was so close to her. She looked up at him surprised at the question.
“What?” She felt her eyebrow raising high on her face as she looked up at his gleaming face. She resisted the urge to move her hand up and cup the side of his face.
“Max was holding my hand earlier, why can’t you?” He asked, looking at her with genuine curiosity. His fingers caressed her reddened, freckled skin softly. She watched him for a moment, thinking there was a large difference between her and Max.
“Max sees you as a brother,” She said slowly, “I don’t.” It felt weird admitting, but it was true. He had told her not to worry about labels, but she still wished there was something to classify them as. Other than being deranged, of course. He chuckled and she watched the way his nose scrunched up with his movements.
“Okay, but nobody else has to know that. If anyone that we know sees I’m sure that’s all they’re assuming.” He told her earnestly. She smiled in regret, thinking of all the people she had been adamant on convincing that her and Billy weren’t siblings. Still, she thought it was different for someone as young as Max to hold her brother’s hand than for her. She wasn’t that much younger than Billy, only about a year.
“I’ll try,” She smiled as his thumb began to trace over her plump lips, “I just get so worried.” He nodded in agreement, dipping back down to place a kiss against her lips again. She tried to memorize the curve of his lips, worried she might forget them some day. She savored the taste of him on her tongue. She never thought she would like the taste of cigarettes, it was bitter, but it was nice. It was Billy.
“I know,” His hands shifted away from her face. He sat up next to her, pulling at the buttons on her jeans. She looked at him nervously, “There’s no one around. Look.” He motioned towards the quiet trees and lonely stars hanging in the sky. She sat up a bit, positioning herself back on the blanket as she looked over the hill. The Fun Fair looked far away from here as she began to feel her guard lowering.
“Alright,” She lifted her hips as he pulled her shorts and panties down with one careful swoop. She felt her face reddening as she looked around again. She felt utterly exposed up here on the hill, out in nature with nowhere to hide, “Billy.” She giggled watching as he struggled to pull his own jeans off of his thick thighs. She smirked, thinking it was what he deserved for always wearing such tight jeans. She took a second to admire him before she pulled her eyes away and removed her shirt and bra. She kicked her shoes off next, carefully folding her socks into them so she wouldn’t lose them later on.
“C’mere,” He scooted onto the blanket after he removed his shirt and she found herself having a hard time focusing on what he was saying with how good she thought he looked at the moment. He took her hand gently as he helped her straddle his lap, “Wanna watch you ride me.” He told her, sounding excited as he pumped himself slowly. She glanced between their legs, having no idea how he always managed to be so hard all the time.
“Okay,” She breathed out softly, rocking her hips forward at the sensation of the tip of his cock tapping against her clit softly. He held onto her hip with one hand as he used the other to push into her. She took a moment to adjust, still feeling a slight burn from this position before she settled down on top of him. She closed her eyes softly, rocking her hips forward as she felt the jolts of electricity spread inside of her, “It feels so good.” She told him quietly between her moans as she moved slowly. She shifted a bit, moving so that the tops of her feet were planted against his large thighs and no longer on the rough blanket.
“Fuck,” He breathed out as his rubbed her hips softly, “Been wanting to do this all night.” He groaned, snapping his hips up hard. She squealed softly, leaning forward at the sensation of him brushing against the bundle of nerves inside of her. She moaned as she moved softly, holding onto his chest for support. He pulled his hands away for a moment, only to pull her scrunchie from her hair and let her red locks caress down her shoulders and back. He rested his hands back against her waist as he dragged her wet cunt along his thick cock.
She glanced down at the golden boy underneath her, fully savoring the sight of him underneath her. His eyes were shut tightly, brows furrowed in pleasure as soft, sinful sounds left his parted lips. She could feel his abdominal muscles flexing underneath her touch as her hands roamed softly over his tanned skin. His fingers tightened around her hips as he brought her back down along his cock, grinding his hips up to meet hers.
“Oh,” She felt her eyes drifting shut at the sensation. Her whole body was warm from their heat, and she could feel the sweat beginning to form along her back as she started to move quicker, “Love your cock so much.” She mumbled desperately, not wanting the feeling of being intertwined with him to ever fade.
"You can be loud," He promised, rubbing the bundle of nerves between her legs as she moved her hips to the rhythm she wanted. He was meeting her halfway, snapping his cock up forward into her as he was fully indulging into his pleasure. Seeing him in so much pleasure tightened her stomach even more, sending a warm feeling throughout her body that ended between her legs. She was gasping as he rocked her forward, "No one will hear. You're doing so damn good." He promised, biting down on his lip as he stared up at her with twinkling eyes.
A loud squeal left her mouth and she jumped, nearly falling on top of him at the large erupting sounds that took place in the sky. She looked down, noticing how his eyes were snapped wide open as well. She turned, feeling her heart still racing as she stared up into the sky where they had lit the fireworks. She giggled softly, watching how pretty the colors looked in the night. Billy’s hands trembled softly against her skin as he held onto her.
She paused her movements, despite being fully aware of how stuffed she felt at the moment with his throbbing cock inside of her fluttering walls. She stared at the sky, watching as the yellow lights flickered in the sky and popped, “It’s pretty.” She spoke out loud, entranced for a moment as the sky once again lit up in a pop of red and blue. Billy’s fingers traced at her soft sides, squeezing softly as he stared up at her.
“Beautiful,” She looked down at him, her hair caressing her face from where he had pulled it down. She watched as the colors flickered across his features, displaying his bright eyes all while he drank her in. She was glad her face was already flushed as she tried not to focus on the meaning of his words. He pushed his hips up softly into her wet cunt, “So fucking tight.” He told her, one of his hands reaching between her legs to rub her clit. She moaned softly, feeling her legs trembling as she began to move again.
She cried out, her sounds dying out from the loud bang of the fireworks erupting into the sky. She moved against him in pleasure, enjoying the curve of his cock pressing against her bundle of nerves. He grunted underneath her, gripping her hips tightly as he helped her move. She could feel herself dripping onto his hardened cock as she moved desperately, soaking in the feeling of them becoming one.
“More,” She pleaded as she leaned down on him further, rolling her hips more desperately as he pushed her down on his cock harder. He was thrusting up to meet her movements, his balls hitting against her skin with each harsh movement. The sound of them echoed quietly into the dark night, “Need more.” She could feel the familiar tightening of her stomach muscles as her high began to grow. He rolled his thumb against her wet clit, using his other hand to press her down on him harder.
“Need more of my cock, baby?” He sat up a bit, grinding his hips up into her wet heat. She gaped in awe, looking down between her legs to watch his cock press into her repeatedly. She clung to him, afraid to let go as she began to near her end, “Such a greedy cock slut.” He smacked her butt harshly at the same time another loud boom was set off in the air behind her. She panted, a small laugh leaving her lips as she nodded.
“Just for you,” She moaned again as he dipped his head towards his chest, licking his warm tongue across her hardened nipples. He flicked them softly with his tongue before sucking softly. She moved her hips harshly, rolling him in deeper as she chased her high, “S’close.” She breathed out harshly, tangling a hand into his blonde curls. She was drenched, chasing her high as he throbbed inside of her. She felt her toes curl in awe as she came down hard around him, trembling as she cried out.
“S’okay baby,” He breathed out raspy, snapping into her harshly. He clawed at her hips, bottoming out inside of her as he came with a rough groan. She rested her cheek against his for a moment, rolling her eyes back at his warm liquid that filled her, “You did so good.” He breathed hard against her cheek, nudging her with his nose so she’d face him. She tried to catch her breath but was still quickly when he indulged her with a quick, lingering kiss. She could feel her legs burning as she went to shift them, to better position herself before she was falling back. She squealed softly, looking up at the bright stars as the Earth seemed to be moving fast underneath her.
She was still shaking around him when he wrapped her in his arms, shifting completely so that he was sitting up and her back was resting on the blanket between his legs. A soft moan left her mouth at the feeling of him pulling his softening dick from between her. She could feel the mixture of them beginning to pool out before he scooped it back in with his fingers.
“See,” He was breathing hard as he looked down at her. He moved his hands across her thighs, touching her as much as he could, “I told you we’d get the best show.” His grin formed after hers did. His eyes lingering on her lips as she attempted to catch her breath. He scooted forward, his fingers cupping her soft boobs and earning a giggle from her.
“Except now I’m all sweaty,” She made a playful face, liking how she felt as she laid between him. He leaned down over her, pressing another gentle kiss against her plump lips, “You might have to carry me down the hill.” She told him playfully, watching how amused he looked at the moment. She tried not to think about where his fingers had been when he pushed them into her mouth. She sucked around them softly, licking off the taste of their mixture. He curled his fingers around her teeth, pulling her jaw open wide for a moment before he spit in her mouth. It took her by surprise, but she swallowed it just the same. Her heart thumped hard in her chest again, liking the proud look on his face.
“Sounds like a deal to me.” He glanced back up at the sky, and she stared at the red and orange that highlighted over his features as more fireworks went off. She didn’t care about the night sky anymore; she was too entranced with watching how pretty he looked at the moment. It was more thrilling than any light show.
“When’s your birthday?” She wasn’t sure why she suddenly thought of it. She couldn’t remember having a party for him since their parents had forced them all together, it made her curious. Neil and Susan had thrown parties for them, she even had a big one for her sixteenth birthday. She couldn't remember one party for him, and it made her nervous. He looked down at her intrigued.
“March.” He said simply, looking away as he looked back up into the night sky. She felt her heart hit her stomach as realization sat in that his birthday had already passed by. She felt a terrible amount of guilt filling inside of her, hoping that he didn't think that she didn't care enough to know. She would've done something for him had she known.
“Billy,” Kim cried, pushing up from the blanket as she stared at him, “Your birthday was in March, and you said nothing?” He looked up at her confused, like this was no big deal. Like it was something he was used to. Her legs were bent on top of his and she felt frantic as she sat close by him.
“Dads never made it a big deal before. You were the only one that got me something for Christmas.” Kim felt baffled as she stared at him, wondering how he could be so casual in a moment like this. She thought about how hurt she would be if no one knew her birthday. She felt terrible all over, feeling like she needed to redeem herself for not paying close enough attention to him.
“I got you a pack of cigarettes,” She spoke slowly, pressing her hands against his chest, “That’s not a real gift! Why didn’t you say anything? I could’ve thrown you a little party!” Billy grumbled, looking away from her eyes and staring at the patch of grass next to them. She cupped his face gently, the same way he had done to her a hundred times.
“Just never been a big deal.” He looked defensive as he watched her. She frowned softly as her eyes traced the freckles along his cheeks. She didn’t want him to be upset. It made her realize how lucky she was that she didn’t have to grow up with Neil. She leaned forward and kissed him softly, not sure if she wanted to know all that he had gone through. She hoped he would have a better future, that didn't reflect on his past.
“I’ll make it up to you,” She smiled sweetly at him, pushing his sweaty curls out of his face. He made a face, looking like he wasn’t pleased with that, “It won’t be overboard, I promise.” She watched how he still didn’t seem so happy with her answer. She didn’t care. He deserved to have at least one good birthday. She'd do something for him, she just had to figure out what.
He grumbled under his breath, seeming like he could care less if anyone ever did anything on his birthdays. She knew it wasn’t fair though. It was just another way for Neil to punish him. She thought about hugging him suddenly but remembered his boundaries as she traced the curve of his face in her hands. She rubbed his skin softly, looking at how it turned white for a few seconds before she moved her fingers away again. She kept doing the same movements, watching at how his head rested in her hands.
“We should get back,” He said after a moment as he rested his fingertips on top of her knees. He smiled softly, looking like he was relaxing under her touch. She liked how smooth his skin felt under her fingertips, “Before Hopper does lock me up.” That snapped Kim out of her gentle movements as she looked at him worried.
“What time is it?” She questioned, beginning to pull away as she slid her panties around her ankles. He shifted behind her, reaching for his own pile of clothes. She glanced over as he turned his wrist to look at his watch. She wondered if he would like a new watch. Her mind began to wander as she started to create a mental list of different things that Billy would like.
“Just barely eleven. We still have time,” She watched him struggle to pull his jeans over his hips, a smile hinting on her lips as he ended up having to jump a few times to get them over his backside, “What?” He grunted out, watching her giggle as she began to fasten her bra. She shook her head.
“Nothing,” She turned, smiling towards the empty trees as she finished dressing herself. The fireworks were beginning to slow, signaling the end of the show as she finished sliding on her socks and shoes, “Just glad we came up here.” She changed the subject. He raised an eyebrow, sitting behind her and pulling her red hair over her shoulder. He nuzzled his chin into the crook of her neck, squishing his face next to hers.
“You sure you weren’t laughing at me?” He asked seriously. From the corner of her eye, she could see how his blue eyes were darting towards her. She cracked a grin but denied it all the same.
“I would never, ever laugh at you,” She told him earnestly. Her heart began to race as she slowly leaned back against him, resting her back against his hard chest. She felt him stiffen for a moment and she began to prepare to pull away from him. He leaned in closer, tucking his feet under her legs and wrapping his strong arms across her waist. Her body lit up in flames at the desire of finally being held by him. She rested comfortably, watching the fireworks light up the sky again, “Can we watch the rest of the fireworks?” She asked him nervously. He leaned backwards for a second, grabbing their drinks before he settled back into position behind her. He shrugged.
“Sure, I think Hopper is all bark anyways,” She shook her head, disagreeing with his opinion but keeping quiet. He popped her soda can open for her and she took it graciously, the back of her throat feeling dry in the muggy air. It wasn’t as cold as what it had been, but she accepted it all the same, “Don’t worry, we’ll get El there in time.” She nodded in agreement, watching the different colors flash across the sky.
“Do you think this would’ve happened in California?” She asked suddenly, thinking about how he had brought up the small wedding ceremony the other day during their intimate moment. She tried not to flush as she thought about his words, but she could feel the tingling feeling growing between her legs again.
“Us?” He turned to her, watching how she was neglecting to look at him. She was partially afraid of what his answer would be, but she was curious all the same, “I think that would’ve been up to you.” She looked away from the bright blue lights in the sky and met his eyes confused.
“Up to me?” She waited for him to confirm. He chuckled, licking his tongue across his teeth. She wasn't sure that she liked that answer. She didn't understand how it would've been her choice
“I thought I made it pretty clear this would’ve happened a long time ago had you paid enough attention,” He tugged on her hair softly, looking quite proud of himself, “You were too naive to notice anything that I was insinuating.” She stared at him, floored for a moment.
“You never tried anything,” She defended herself, “I would’ve noticed. You were always with other girls. You never hinted at anything.” She rushed out, trying to think back for one single memory where he had acted interested in her. He smirked at her, showing off his shiny white teeth. She felt her eyes furrowing as she continued to try and deny his actions. She was sure she would've known.
“I did, you just never caught on. Until you saw my cock anyways,” He seemed proud of himself as she pulled her hands to hide her face, groaning as she felt the blood pumping against her flushed cheeks, “Awe, don’t be so shy.” He cupped her chin softly, pulling her face back so he could kiss the corner of her lips repeatedly. She mimicked his grumble, too embarrassed to kiss back.
“You’re terrible,” She whined out softly as she squirmed in his arms. His laugh vibrated across her cheek as he pulled his lips away to get a good look at her, “I think you say things just to embarrass me.” She admitted, he squeezed her sides softly.
“Sometimes, but not right now,” The night grew quiet around them, Kim could faintly hear the sound of applause and people cheering. She figured that must’ve been the last of the fireworks. She watched as the smoke curled in the air, the smell blowing over them. As much as she missed California, she had to admit that the stars were a lot brighter out here. She felt that there were four times as many stars here as there had been in California, “We should go.” He tapped her thigh softly, drawing her out of her thoughts.
“Okay,” She cautiously held onto her drink as she stood up. He did so after her, picking up the blanket lazily and tossing it over his shoulder. He handed her his empty drink and she looked at him confused, “I thought you wanted me to carry you back?” She looked at him enthused, nodding her head eagerly. He bent over a bit as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders, his large hands gripped the back of her thighs as he hoisted her up. She laughed softly, adjusting the glass bottles in one hand as she held onto him. His blonde curls tickled against her lips and cheek as a soft breeze hit them.
“Please don’t fall,” She told him seriously as he began to make his way down the hill. She squealed softly when he bounced her in the air before keeping up his steady pace, “Billy!” She held onto him tightly, not quite enjoying the angle that they were heading in as he walked them down the hill. She thought about how badly it would hurt the both of them if they tumbled down the hill.
“I’m not going to fall,” He laughed, grunting as he adjusted her in his arms again. She felt like protesting, thinking that it was very likely that they would end up tumbling down the hill. Her chin rested against his shoulder as he made it to the bottom and headed towards his car. Once they were out of the thicket of trees, she noticed the crowd of people making their way towards their cars, “It’s fine, they won’t think anything weird if you don’t.” He mumbled softly as if he could read her mind. Still, she moved her head away from his so she could act like they weren’t so intimate.
“Do you think Max is still inside?” She asked him, having an easier time at looking through the crowd of people as he held her so high in the air. She didn’t see the fiery redhead nearby and figured she must’ve been lingering inside with her friends. Billy squeezed her right thigh softly, motioning towards a ruddy brown car sitting near the bottom of the gravel parking lot. She noticed her sister then, surrounded by all of her friends and Steve. Steve was there too. Kim held onto Billy awkwardly, not wanting to see the brunette boy again.
“You wanna go get her?” Billy asked as she slowly set Kim down on the ground. She held the glass bottles towards her chest and shook her head no. She didn’t know how to explain how awkward it would be to walk up to the group of them and ask for Max to come along.
“Can you just drive up?” She quickly grabbed the stuffed cow he’d won her from the trunk as he tossed the blanket back in. He waited a moment so he could light up a cigarette and shrugged.
“Sure,” He didn’t seem too bothered by that and she was glad for that. She slid into the leather seats and was thankful when he turned the AC on first. She accepted the cooling feeling against her hot, sweaty skin as she buckled up, “You too shy to see Pretty Boy or something?” She exhaled softly.
“More like too embarrassed,” Kim admitted, a bit sheepish. She was still humiliated as she thought about how she had tried to kiss him. Billy turned to her, smirking a bit and she wondered if he was thinking the same thing, “I’m pretty sure he really hates me now.”
“He’s dumb,” Billy grumbled as he backed up slowly. She fixed her hair back up over her head, trying to get the back of her neck to cool down. She couldn’t wait to get home and take a hot shower. She watched as Max’s crowd of friends slowly peered into view, “Come on shitbirds, otherwise you're walking.” Billy blew smoke out towards the two younger girls. Kim caught Robin’s blue eyes before quickly turning away, she didn't really feel like talking at the moment. She fiddled with her fingers, hoping Steve wasn't looking at her.
“Yeah, we’ve been waiting for you,” Max looked at him annoyed, nudging El towards the car. Max quickly slipped inside while El lingered near Billy’s door, looking towards her friend for support, “Oh, is it okay if Will rides back with us? We lost Jonathan somewhere.” Max admitted. Billy huffed loudly but nodded, swaying his hands dramatically towards them.
“Just hurry.” He blew out another cloud of smirk and licked his tongue across his teeth. She fought the urge to nudge him, noticing the cocky grin he was shooting Steve. Kim rarely met any of Max’s friends, but she thought that Will might be her favorite. She felt that she could relate to how quiet and withdrawn he was from everyone else. He slid in awkwardly between the two girls, shooting Kim a soft wave which she returned.
“Thanks.” Will muttered softly, rubbing his hand over his arm as the two girls next to him began to talk over him. Kim could vaguely hear something about vomiting and decided she had enough of that conversation as she turned back to watch the dark night swooping past them as Billy drove. Her eyes lingered against the blue scrunchie that was still on his wrist.
“Where did you two go?” Max asked suddenly, scooting her way up to press her cheek against the back of Billy’s chair. He scoffed softly but reached his hand back to swat at her foot to make her stop. Max waited a second before doing it again.
“What do you mean? We were there watching fireworks.” He replied casually as he put his cigarette out. Kim glanced at him in relief, unsure of what lie she would’ve been able to think of. She glanced in the rearview mirror, noticing Max’s eyes narrowing.
“We didn’t see you.” She accused, looking between the two of them curiously. Kim turned to face her, a smile playing on her features.
“You were looking for us? That’s so sweet.” She teased her, reaching around to pinch her cheek softly. Kim felt her eyes widening as she licked the side of her hand, causing her to snap her hand away quickly. She wiped her wet hand against her shorts, making a sound of disgust as she felt her features wrinkling from the feeling.
“Yeah, only because we thought you forgot about us.” Max sat back in her chair, glaring at her friends who were smiling at her. Billy surprised her when he spoke up.
“We wouldn’t forget about you,” Kim was surprised at how sweet he sounded, “We wouldn’t be allowed to.” He mumbled the second part under his breath, but loud enough for her to hear. She frowned softly as she rested back in her seat, thinking about what Neil would do if he knew that they snuck away without the younger girl.
The three in the back settled into a conversation as Billy drove his way out of town, back towards where Hopper would be waiting for them. She glanced at the time on the radio, noticing they still had fifteen minutes before El had to be home. Kim grinned as Billy pulled down the dirt road.
“You timed that well.” She admitted, watching as he turned to grin at her. She felt her eyes lingering against his smile, liking the way his face seemed to light up. She wished he’d smile this way more often.
“Have a good night,” Billy glanced back at the two teens who were tumbling out of the car. They both sent a small wave before they were rushing inside towards the house. Billy waited until they were both inside before he began to reverse, “Maybe he’ll get off my back now.” He grumbled in reference to Hopper. Max leaned forward curiously.
“What did you do?” She tried to be sly as she asked. He smirked, shaking his head as he ignored her question. She rolled her eyes before falling back against the seat dramatically and crossing her arms.
“Did you win anything?” Kim asked her, wanting to know how her night had gone. The younger redhead shook her head, but looked excited as she began to recount her night. Kim felt her eyebrows furrowing at the mention of Robin and Steve joining them. She wasn’t quite sure how two people her age could get along so well with a group of kids their age.
“I thought El dumped Mike?” Kim asked when Max paused to catch her breath. Max exhaled dramatically as Billy glanced over at Kim.
“Why’d she dump him?” He questioned. Kim thought for a moment, trying to remember what they had told her a few days ago. She shrugged her shoulders softly when she couldn't remember the answer. She was almost afraid to ask Max, not wanting to irritate the younger girl for not remembering.
“He’s a liar and he’s so controlling over her,” Max huffed, “He’s just annoying.” Kim looked back at her amused but didn’t say anything. She felt her eyes growing heavy, feeling the day finally beginning to catch up with her. She felt a relief fill her as their familiar street came into view.
“Try and be quiet.” Billy muttered as he parked his car. Neil’s was already neatly parked and by how dark the house was she was sure he was already asleep. She felt an odd chill settle over her. She hadn’t thought of what Neil had done earlier until the house came back into view. The less she saw of him the better.
Max was the first one out and was already making her way up the hill. Kim stood, grabbing her stuffed animal as she walked with Billy. She wasn’t aware of how sticky and wet she felt until now and really hoped she didn’t look as nasty as what she felt as he kept in pace with her.
“Did you have a good time?” He asked after a minute, holding the porch door open for her. She stepped in quickly, following Max inside as she nodded. She turned to look at his curious features.
“I had a lot of fun,” She slipped her shoes off, stepping aside so he could do the same, “Did you have fun?” She was a bit nervous. She was sure he could’ve been doing a lot of different things instead of hanging around her. She hated feeling like she needed to impress him.
“Loads,” He grinned at her, “Next time we’re getting on more rides.” He glanced over, making sure Max was in her room before he delivered a harsh smack to Kim’s backside. She yelped, the sound of his hand hitting her bottom echoing in the dark room. She shot him a look.
“That was mean,” She turned to walk to her room, trying to act like she didn’t have a big grin on her face, “I call the shower first.” She turned to tell him before she entered her room. She turned her light on, heading towards her bed first as she removed another teddy bear from her pillows. She sat her new stuffed cow by the previous one he had won for her. She smiled at the small collection that was beginning to grow as she picked up her pajamas and reached for her hanging towel.
“Billy,” Kim spoke up softly, looking up to see the blonde boy shutting her bedroom door behind him, “You shouldn’t be in here.” She whispered out, worried that Neil could still be awake. He grinned at her, stepping closer to her frozen figure.
So, what?” Billy teased as he wrapped his hands around her waist, “I take you out, buy you food, watch fireworks with you,” He paused for a moment, leaning forward to lick at her cheek, “Fuck that tight little pussy so good and I still don’t get a goodnight kiss?” Flames licked at her face as she stared at him stunned.
“What?” She giggled nervously, clutching her towel and pajamas towards her chest. He grinned at her, still pressing her up against him.
“A goodnight kiss,” He repeated, swaying her softly in his arms. Her heart was thumping so hard in her chest that it was hurting. She stared up at him with a goofy smile, feeling shy with the way he was watching her, “I think I’m owed one.” He replied cockily. She shifted on her feet nervously.
“Okay,” She glanced up at him, still feeling shy as he peered down at her. She stood cautiously on her tippy toes, rising to his height as she pressed her lips against the corner of his mouth, “Better?” She was unsure how he was wanting her to kiss him. He tsked.
“Awe come on, is that all I deserve?” His hands tickled against the side of her waist. She wasn’t sure why she felt so nervous at the moment. She moved her hand that wasn’t holding her clothing around his shoulders. She leaned in softly, pressing her lips against his slowly. It was sweet, gentle as he held her close to him. She felt like he was breathing life back into her as his lips pressed against hers tenderly.
They were like magnets being drawn together as she pushed herself up closer against him. She could feel her heart thumping to the beat of his, like they were slowly becoming one body. She didn’t care about breathing; all she could focus on was how badly she needed him in her arms. He pulled away first, much to her dismay as he rested his forehead against hers gently.
“Have a good night.” He whispered finally. She found herself lingering in his arms, absorbing as much of his skin on hers as what was possible. She didn’t want him to leave. She wanted him to join her, to stay the night in her bed. She exhaled softly, nodding as she tried to control her thoughts as she remembered where they were.
“You too.” Her breathing felt stalled as he pulled away from her. He opened the door, leaving her alone in her quiet room. She felt a grin forming on her lips as she pressed her fingertips across the curve of her mouth, promising to remember what it felt like to have his against hers.

People Are Strange (ROTTMNT VAMPIRE AU)
OMG, IM GONNA THROW UP SO MICH INFO ON YOU GUYS IM SO SORRY BUT VAMPIRES ARE ON THE BRAIN AND THEY MAKE ME DO THINGS
A TAD bit inspired off of Lost Boys, so it's got that 80s cliche/grunge to it - also @m0nster-fluffer TOTALLY didn't encourage or inspire me to finally write all this stuff out... Totally not 👀
This is inspired by a Roleplay idea I came up with... But was never able to act out so I'm glad I was able to write some if the stuff down!
BASICALLY... It's just like the brothers and MAYBE April (but I think she'll just be a normal human they let tag along, and maybe she does some of their... Hunting for them) are vampires, usually come out late at parties or do their own thing, riding around on motorcycles, being nuisance to many, and threats to others.
I feel if it were a scenario, it'd probably go one (or your whole group, depends on if you want your character to already know the guys or not) of the Roleplayers moves into this small secluded town where all this happens, and somehow gets wrapped up in meeting the four weirdos + April, and then starts discovering the creepy and spooky blah blah ect.
The Hamato Brothers are something no one wants to be around with, cause eventually, you go missing. You get lost. Never to be found, it's kind of difficult when their very... Persuasive.
Basic twist/plot for this whole thing: Everyone in this town but you know the guys are vampires. You and your family have no clue until you find out why the people of this town don't want you to leave, try to keep you trapped in this so called, happy, campy, little peace of heaven off somewhere deep in the woods. You're new meat- new faces. New prey.
The guys had started getting more relentless and more brash toward the townsfolk until you showed up... They can't just give you up that easy.
(And my rant about what I think the guys would be like HEE)
Raphael Raph is one of the more docile of his brothers, he isn't as peer pressuring or over energetic as his other three, usually he's like that big brother 'come on, leave em alone' energy if he can see someone getting stressed over his brothers trying to get them to jump like- twenty feet from the beach pillars. But, as much as he seems like a chill dude, his vampirism is... Different. When he's mad, he isn't afraid to let you know. He can get aggressive and almost animalistic, a LOT of 'accidents' involving people can be from Raphs... Temper-tantrums.
Any vampire powers? Yes! The guy is a total brute, and it's not just for show. He could lift two trucks with both hands with absolute ease if he wanted to.
Leonardo Oh yikes, one of the brothers that a LOT of people tend to be persuaded by. Leo has the tendency to make some of the riskier decisions and ideas of the group, just to see how freaked out they can get new comers, what makes em run away screaming. It makes it more enjoyable for him. He loves- and I mean LOVES a chase once in a while, even if it spreads out into an entire week, he doesn't stop, as long as your in his town, his territory, you can't escape him or his brothers.
Leo's vampirism is one of the MANY faults and reasons the brothers have almost been caught. The guy pushes and tests limits like the little ass he is and waits to see what happens. Raphs killed people, sure, but Leo's killed people, critters, and he tends to leave them on people's doorsteps just to freak them out- especially if they've pissed him off. Or he's... Taken a liking to you.
His actions have gotten him locked up in the Church by the people a few times. And even though he continues to do it, he HATES getting chained up cause he's stuck their for a damn week, and all his brothers do is ridicule, taunt, or scold him. Any vampire powers? Yes! Leo's got some kind of... Trance inducing powers - it isn't like it is in shows or movies. It's a lot more... Subtle than that. It's he can make his point or voice sound more alluding, more conniving, and it almost feels like you can't refuse the guy.
Donatello. The lesser known of the vampire brothers, Donnie is extremely quiet and keeps to himself. And not in a shy way, this guy's seemingly resting bitch-face/death glare looks like he's looking directly through you and into your deepest darkest fears. He probably is.
But once you get to know him - as rare as it is unless he decides you're worth his time, he's still pretty blunt and cold, and he's almost cruel in some way. You can see some dark joy behind his eyes watching you get scared or squirm under his cold arm over your shoulder.
He doesn't seem like it, but he's got that persuasion and slight bloodlust that his twin Leo has. He just more collected about it. He tends to be the one who doesn't cause much of the missing accidents, (he's much more intelligent to clean and hide a crime scene, please, the man isn't a reckless idiot like his brothers.) But the one or two he's done are because someone pissed him off. The someone is his twin. Those two get in nasty- and I don't put it lightly when I say NASTY fights. Ranging from verbal to physical, it's rare that they actually get along so much so that they barely even talk to each other cause it ends in yelling or biting and scratching.
Any vampire powers? Yes! Same as his twin, maybe he dpes it more with that smolder or look he has rather than his voice, but it still gets the job done.
Michelangelo
And finally, the youngest of the Hamatos, Mikey. Of course, don't let that fool you. This vampire tends to be the most welcoming of newcomers out if all his brothers, while he's eerily sweet and calm, it does the trick to put people's minds at ease and get them to join their little rag-tag group.
He's usually the one you'd go to if you feel on edge about everything, him and Raph being more docile to newcomers before they decide to pounce.
While he gives on the laid-back persona... Don't get him mad or threaten his brothers. It'd like a whole new creature from the deepest darkest part of your soul is unleashed if you get on this vampires nerves.
And he's fast. They all are. Don't get me wrong, but the stealth this guy has sneaking and sprinting through woods. You're not gonna escape.
Any vampire powers? Yes! Super speed and levitation! The levitation is usually on his part - meaning he's the one floating around a few feet of ground and picking things up of the floor a few feet away from him. But he can pick people up if he decides he's too tired or annoyed to chase.
