shipping is, prevalent. shipping even rpf is ingrained into tumblrs culture on every side of it if you dont like it thats a you thing, you can 'blacklist' tags so just add 'rpf' or the shipnames to them and you should be good!

driver championship:

all the drivers are against each other, there are 20 places u can end up on, and there can only be one winner. the winner is determined by who scores the most points (only top 10 fastest during a race receives points, but it’s important to get as many wins and podiums as possible during the season)

constructors championship:

both these take place at the same time, but this is when teamwork comes in. the constructors championship is based on who the fastest team is, and that’s also determined by which has the most points. they receive points from their drivers doing well in races, and then add their points together. for example, if lewis gets 18 points during a race and george gets 15, they’ve scored 33 points for the constructors championship!

the points are given out by how quick you are during a race and how fast you finish. if you’re the fastest to complete, let’s say, 52 laps for example then you get 25 points! one lap is one round around the circuit btw!

late night thoughts: volume 1

none of you know me very well and I create some of your pre-bed time scenarios, so I thought I'd give you some really really random facts about me whilst I work on my many many many drafts. If you have any questions ask below! Although there are some things I would like to keep private for privacy reasons 💀 :)

- I am fluent in multiple languages! sometimes if I'm using one language for a period of time and then switch to another, I would mix words up and it's very funny when people don't understand me.

- Usually little girls would love to be a princess or a hairdresser, right? well my little self wanted to be a (as I called it) a racecar driver...... but in normal terms: a formula one driver. I don't know what was going through my head but I was obsessed. stealing my older brothers toy cars from when he was younger and wanting a go-kart for Christmas was normal to me and I often got made fun of for it. That dream would still be ideal today but I have more practical aspirations for my future now which is very emotional for me. :( I loved Daniel Riccardo he was literally my idol (+ vettel and Alonso!!!). My obsession was so hardcore that I refused to watch princess films and play with Barbies. I received a Rapunzel doll for my birthday when I was eight and took off her dress and coloured a race suit onto her with a sharpie. It was very creative to be fair.

- every relationship and friendship (besides my brother ily smelly) I have been in ever has been toxic and tore me down, my luck is so kind to me right? don't pity me or I swear- I was little and didn't know better. THE POINT IS my online friendships worked out so much better so I value you all so so so much honestly<3

- don't laugh at me please but when I was younger I had a crippling fear of the Simpsons..........they were scary ok?

- I have a dog!

- Christian bale isn't my only celebrity crush but that's not shocking I don't think.

Jimin's heart filled with sadness as he continues to massage his boyfriend's nape, that is now too busy burying his head deep in the plastic bag as his stomach keep twisting and turning, won't stop bringing a copious amount of food he just disgests.

"You were doing fine hyung, let it all out", Jimin mutters, his free hand reaching to tucked Yoongi's silver hair that now has grown long.

Yoongi coughs, groaning as he spits thick saliva that dangling after he lets out a mouthful of brown vomit down.

" I'm sorry, Minie", Yoongi croaked out in between his effort panting for air when he finally lifts his head up. Grimacing when he sees the bag that is already half-filled with his stomach content.

Jimin frowns, reaching for tissues to dap Yoongi's wet lips and nose. The older mutters a small thank you before he leaned himself back. He's exhausted.

'What are you sorry for?"

"It was gross", Yoongi mumbled with his eyes closed. He huffs when he could feel his stomach already turned again. It seems like he will have a second round.

" Do you want water hyung? Your throat must be sore", Jimin asks, completely ignoring the nonsense apology from his boyfriend.

Yoongi hummed, taking the bottle shakily and gulp down some of it. He sighs in relief when the cool liquid hitting his burning throat. He drinks half of it before pushing it back to the younger and leaned back on his seat again.

"How are you feeling?"

Yoongi opened his eyes, shifting his position so he could lean on Jimin's shoulder then he let his eyes flutter close. Maybe with that he won't be too aware of the car movement.

"Like shit", he mumbled. " I don't understand why i get sick. I already took my dramamine", he adds.

The younger chuckled, ruffling his boyfriend's hair lovingly, he leans his head closer to Yoongi's to peck at his lips.

"Do you think we can pull over on the next stop?", Yoongi asks. His voice sounds hoarse, but still soft enough so that Jimin can hear him clearly.

Jimin frowned, " Why? Do you need something?"

Yoongi shakes his head lightly, "Think i'm going to be sick again. I still feel so nauseous Jimin-ah", he exhales shakily. " And this bag already filled"

Yoongi pressed his fist on his lips. " I don't want to puke or make another mess", he added, eyes squeezed tightly shut, his whole body shakes from side to side, hands clenching the handle of the plastic bag tightly to avoid making any sudden movements that could jostle his stomach more.

Jimin's eyes widen. His hand quickly rummaging through his bag, the dashboard and everything to find something. "Is it urgent hyung?", he asks while he still hastily rummaging every place, hoping that he would magically found a plastic bag hidden somewhere in that car.

A wet gag answered Jimin's question. " Mhm", Yoongi whimper. "I think i could hold it", he voices out. His voice was a little bit muffled as his mouth was tightly clamped. He was trying his best not to puke all over the car, his face feels sweaty because of his sweat, and he's pretty sure if he open's his mouth, it'll be full of vomit.

But curses the driver, that suddenly swaying lane as apparently, the car in front of them were doing the same. The sudden movement set Yoongi off, as he let out a new wet gag, making his body bent over.

He squeezes his eyes shut, tightens his grip on his cheeks. His breath becomes heavy with an effort to hold more of his food down.

" Minie ..", Yoongi whimpers. " Help.. I..."

Jimin curses under his breath, "I know hyung .. wait-", he stammered. He almost screams in joy when he found a crumpled plastic bag in his bag. He quickly opened it and shoves it under Yoongi's clamped mouth, taking the already soiled bag from Yoongi in his hand and tied it.

His boyfriend let out a quiet moan against the plastic bag.

It didn't take long before Jimin heard the sound of liquid rushing to fill the bag, followed by the older coughs and groans. Jimin closes his eyes. He hates seeing Yoongi being this sick.

He wrapped his arm around Yoongi's arched figure. His heart clenched when he feels the latter back jerked against his arm as he heaves more to the bag.

" Gosh, you were so sick hyung", Jimin whispers, caressing Yoongi's back softly while he holds him.

Yoongi didn't manage to muster anything as his stomach seems eager to empty everything out. Liquid after liquid keeps finding its way to back up from Yoongi's stomach, leaving him no room except for a quick gasp for air in between heaves.

His hand grips Jimin's forearm, the other gripping the plastic bag tightly.

" I'm sorry", Yoongi said quietly once his heaving is finally halted. " I didn't mean to"

" Hyung please don't apologize," Jimin interrupts Yoongi quickly with a soft smile. " You did nothing wrong."

Yoongi nods weakly, his eyes closing as he tries to calm his breathing.

" Are you okay now?", Jimin asked, his voice laced with concern.

Yoongi nodded, " Yeah, I'm good now. I feel like i'm already empty enough"

Jimin 's hand moved from where it was placed gently on Yoongi's back, and he held Yoongi's chin between his thumb and index finger and looked into the other's eyes. They were glazed and tired. Not to mention Yoongi was sweating profusely as well.

"Do you want to sleep hyung? We still have few minutes before we arrived", Jimin suggested, trying to look serious even though his expression was one of worry.

Yoongi nods tiredly, leaning his body to his initial position again, that is on Jimin's shoulder. " 'Mkay", he slurs. Exhaustion starts creeping on his body, making his eyes flutter close.

"You need to eat first when we arrived, okay? The make-up noona won't mind a couple of mins of delay. I won't let you shoot with an empty stomach"

Yoongi only gives out a slight hum in response as he slowly falls into a light slumber.

"Hyung.. wake up, we're here", Jimin soft voices sipping into Yoongi's sleepy mind. Waking him up from his quick nap. He scrunches his face. He feels groggy, dissociated, and worse. He thought his nausea was just because of motion sickness but apparently, it's still latching on him. But he shakes it off as an after effect from a round of vomiting and car movement.

" Hyung, are you sure you just have motion sickness? You look pale", Jimin chimed in as he slides his hand on Yoongi's arm. Steadying the older that look so out of it.

Maybe he still tries to wake up. Jimin thought.

"Am i?", Yoongi asks. Ruffling his hair that's messy because of the wind as they walk to the tent. He could see the other members already scattering around the snack table and some of it already got touched with makeup.

Jimin only nods. "Yeah, you're really pale, hyung. Just come inside and lie down. We will check on you later okay?"

Yoongi shakes his head, "No, I'm fine baby. Maybe my body still trying to adapt. I don't know. Dont worry too much", he bites a small smile, quite a weak one, "Let's get this shoot over and quickly go home, okay?"

Jimin frowned, " But hyung-"

" I promise i am fine, okay", Yoongi says.

Jimin was about to mutter another concern before his manager shouting from somewhere, telling them to quickly preparing and soon, make-up noona already scurrying them.

Yoongi sighs as he pulled with one of the stylists, and is seated in front of the mirror. He definitely looks pale, and to be honest. He really does not feel good. His stomach still feels like it's bloated. It's still churning every then and there.

He huffs. He can do this. Just a few hours.

The filming starts. Today they gonna shoot a few individuals, dance scenes, and teasers. They fall into a work vibe, everyone just focused on their tasks as everyone seems to have the same mission to finish the shoot quickly.

Yoongi could feel Jimin's gaze lingers on him every time they had a break or something. And he would shoot a reassuring smile when his eyes catch the latter gaze, making Jimin's cheeks redden in instant. Either it's because of him or because of the blazing heat. Who knows.

Yoongi managed to push down the horrible feeling he had earlier until their last scene. They had to do a flashmob and few dance scenes.

They have been shooting some of it outdoor. And doing that while you had to dance .. in the middle of summer with blazing heat is quite challenging.

The second takes, and Yoongi starts to feel lightheaded.

"The last take everyone", the camera director shouted. Yoongi groans.

Jimin that positioned beside him chuckles, squeezing the older arms, " Last one hyung"

The moment the camera director shouts cut, Yoongi was sure he already breaks into a cold sweat. He lower himself, steadying his body on his knees immediately when the music stopped.

He pants for air. His head is swimming. He let his mouth fall open to fasten air to fill in his lungs.

"Hyung!", Yoongi could hear Jimin calling for him, with a lot of " thank you, you've worked hard" throwing in the background.

"Hyung .. are you okay?" A worried Jimin says.

Yoongi manages to nod weakly, but it was obvious how he didn't really want to move right now. He felt like his stomach was going to leap on his throat anytime soon and he gonna falls over at how dizzy he feels.

"Hyung you need to sit", Jimin tells him.

Yoongi shakes his head, "no.. wait. i can't move", he shakily says. " 'm too dizzy" he murmurs, panting through each word.

Soon, he feels arms wrapped around his shoulder. "Let's walk slowly, okay? You seem like you're going to faint. And staying here won't do you anything good", Jimin tells him softly.

Yoongi lets his eyes slip closed. His head is spinning as if he was drinking a bottle of whiskey.

"Okay", he whispers.

The two walked slowly and carefully to the tent. Yoongi's legs feel like jelly, and the world keeps turning into shades of black. He can barely stand.

Few steps from the tent, Yoongi halts on his feet.

" Hyung?", Jimin asks. " You okay?"

Yoongi couldn't answer as his stomach lurch, he quickly bent his body forward just in time as water spraying from his mouth to the ground below. He could hear gasps from everyone near them. But he can't bring himself to care as his stomach clenched again.

It wasn't long before all water came spilling out of his mouth.

Jimin gasped in shock, his hands instinctively moving to hold Yoongi, who seemed to pass out as soon as he collapsed on his knees, still holding onto Jimin's sleeves tightly in his fist.

"Breathe hyung ..", Jimin whispered as he patted Yoongi's back. " Just breathe"

Minutes passed by, Yoongi was still puking his guts out, his head throbbing painfully, and his hands clutching on the fabric of Jimin's clothes, trying to stay upright and not collapse on himself yet.

"Jimin-ah", Yoongi wheezes out after he spits the last round. "Can we go home?", he whines, his grip around Jimin's sleeves getting tighter, "I really don't feel well-"

"Sssshh .. i know hyung. Let's get you to the car, okay?"

After that, it went like a blur. The next thing Yoongi knows is Jimin woke him up for the second time, telling him that they already reached their apartment.

He blinks repeatedly, trying to gather all his senses, taking in his surroundings.

His vision is blurry but he can tell he is lying on Jimin's bed in the dark room, covered in covers, and Jimin kneeling next to him, looking concerned. "Are you feeling better now?",

He nodded, not having any energy left to speak or talk, or do anything really. He knew his head is pounding and everything feels like it's spinning, and maybe he will throw up again, but he really wants to sleep already. "Jimin", he mumbled.

"Yes?", the younger responds gently brushing his thumbs on Yoongi's knuckles soothingly, "what is it?", he softly says.

"Stay with me... please", Yoongi whispers and reaches both his hand, palm upwards towards Jimin. Jimin was slightly taken aback for a moment before a little smirk appears on his lips, pulling the blankets covering Yoongi more closer.

"Always", Jimin says quietly as he wraps his hands around Yoongi's thin frame. As Yoongi lays comfortably on him, closing his eyes to take in his scent. Jimin can feel Yoongi breathing slowly and evenly. Feeling relaxed, he kisses his forehead and continues to stroke his hair, running his fingers lightly through his hair.

Yoongi hums. Feeling Jimin's warmth against him.

He smiles.

i made a playlist of r5's entire discography and am listening to it (in order) because there is something wrong with me. if only it had their very first ever ep on it (ready set rock ep you may have been slight garbage but i don't love you any less for it). oh god i realized i fucked up and didn't add the songs by "ross lynch and r5" from the austin & ally soundtrack. i'm already three songs into louder and they would have been between louder and say you'll stay. what do i have to do is actually one of r5's best songs and i'm pretty sure i remember ross calling it one of his favs fairly recently?? which was so valid of him. anyways. this is now an r5 song ranking. i'm bored and avoiding doing assignments. i'm going to name my top 10 r5 songs off the top of my head. source: me trying to remember every song they've ever released.

no. 1: easy love. nothing comes close. my fav song they ever made. they haven't made anything that even compares since (this is /hj. tde has some valid songs).

no. 8: f.e.e.l.g.o.o.d. this has alwayysss been one of my favs by them. since it dropped. some lore about it: the like crowd yelling that's in it they recorded live at a festival they played and i remember there being hype about this being an unreleased song when they had the crowd chanting "f-e-e-l-g-o-o-d" with no explanation. also another fun fact is that the final version of this is just a demo?? source: my slightly faulty memory remembering ross saying something about some demos being so good that you keep them as they are and it later being revealed this was the song he was talking about.

no. 9: i know you got away. sexy song. they released a vocals only version of it (that has apparently since been deleted?? i went to look for it on youtube and couldn't find it?? wtf r5) that has stuck with me ever since.

no. 10: loud. but more specifically the acoustic or live version. this was their encore song that they played to end every show. i MISS IT. it holds a special place in my heart.

ok. i will spare you and stop rambling. other honorable mentions: if you have never listened to cool girl (feat. the driver era) by new beat fund i highly recommend. it's an okay song but it was one of the first songs released after they rebranded as tde and includes ross saying motherfucker with his whole chest. i will never again feel what i felt the first time i heard that song having listened exclusively to them as r5 whose songs they couldn't curse in because they were on a disney label.

When You Love Someone - Park Jae Hyung Chpt. 1 (Part 1/2)

Here's the thing.

You hated playing the guitar. 

You were clearly a keyboard/piano person but when you heard that Jae had volunteered himself at the local music shop, you barely hesitate to put your name down on the form for the guitar lessons. It might have got something got to do with the crush you harbor on the guy. 

Your hate of the guitar was mostly because of the fact that your fingers were never flexible enough to press on the strings, how loud and gritty the sounds of an electric guitar echoes and also how there were different ways to play with different songs.

Like what on earth was plucking? 

Why are there different ways to play one instrument? 

It didn't help that there were different ways to tune a guitar. The amount of time you struggled with the tuner was making you regret the decision but as soon as Jae smiles at you and helped you out, you found yourself back in the studio, practicing yet another song on the guitar.

"Have you been practicing your chords?"

You nod, totally forgetting that he was actually asking about guitar chords and not keyboard. He gave a small chuckle and settled in front of you.

"Great, let's see it!"

The next few minutes consisted of;

"Did you tune your guitar? It sounds a little weird.." 

"That's the G chord."

"Bring that finger here and this one here..." 

"Show me A chord..... Uh... That's C chord."

"That's not even a chord."

It was amazing how Jae was never frustrated with your inability to learn the chords because your limit was approaching fast. 

Every mistake you made, you simply want to throw the guitar down and leave but Jae was always there to stop you from doing that. With his kind smile and carefree attitude, you could not stop yourself from falling for him even more. He was honestly your only motivation to learn the guitar.Your frustration was clear on your face but once he ruffles your hair, you can't help it but to come back for the next session. 

"You did great! Just need a little more practice."

Jae flashed a proud smile when you get a chord right was the highlight of the entire lesson.

"That's it for today!"

Jae clapped his hands and pats your shoulder, as if signing to you that you did a good job. Your shy smile made its appearance along with a slight blush but luckily, his attention was on the notification of his phone. He briefly read through and perked up, catching you before you leave. 

"Before I forget, here!"

He held out a shiny silver ticket out to you and grinned.

"Umm... What is this?"

"There's a gig, tomorrow at Club Eclipse. Thought that maybe it would be nice for you to see a few live performances."

You eyed the ticket for a bit before you glance up at him.

"You'll be playing?"

"Not this time but I'll be sure to invite you next time! Pinky promise!"

He stuck out his pinky, wiggling childishly to which you curled with a small giggle. Jae gave you a ruffle on your hair before looking at his watch. 

"I'll pick you up at about 7 at the cafe near school?" 

"You have a license?" 

"Only one way to find out right?" 

He winked, smiling while you tried to bite back your smile. 

You might have went all out in trying to find the perfect outfit which had Seungmin groaning in pure annoyance at the fact that you just practically dumped a bunch of clothes infront of him. The amount of times that you ran into his bedroom's toilet and came out with a new outfit had him regretting his friendship with you.

As if he could break a childhood friendship that easy.

You and Seungmin met each other at a piano recital when the two of you were younger. Ever since then, it was as if it was fated for the two of you to be friends. Both of you kept getting into the same classes, courses and school with or without planning on it. Plus, it did not help that Wonpil, Seungmin's brother, was your partner for a piano recital which made the two of you even closer.

"Are you seriously doing this at my house?"

"I need fashion advice."

You pouted, turning away from the mirror for Seungmin's view. He barely gave you a glance and scoffed.

"Stop pouting. You ain't cute."

You pouted even more at his harsh words but it was just a Seungmin thing to do so you weren't offended in the slightest. 

"Why aren't you asking Hyunjin for fashion advice? He is better than the rest of us at fashion."

"YOU'RE A GENIUS, SEUNG!"

You immediately grabbed your phone and called Hyunjin over to Seungmin's house. It didn't take long for him to arrive but not alone.

"Who invited the sunshine twins here?"

"We are here for mental support!"

"Get out of my house."

"Why do you like Jae anyways?"

Felix's question threw you to a state of flabbergast.

"Why Jae?"

Jisung added on, while Hyunjin was picking up outfits and trying to pair them together.

You sat on Seungmin's mattress much to the other's displeasure and thought about it to yourself. 

At first, it was the smile. You always thought that Jae had a cute smile with how he smiles with his eyes. He had a variety of smiles from the playful mischievous grin to the tired yet blessed smirk. It stays in your mind every time and you could not help feeling warm seeing his smile.

"Who's that?"

You asked Seungmin, who had been re-reading his script for the tenth time that day. Your dear friend was a part of the MC line up for some after school event which he was extremely nervous for which was why you, his dear friend, was there to cheer him on.

"What?"

"That blonde? I don't think I had seen him before."

"Oh, Jae?" 

You raised a brow as if trying to get him to explain more. "He was a student here, my brother's senior. They called him back to help us with the event."

Your attention went to the blonde who was joking around with some of the MCs to calm their stage nerves. The way he threw his head back to laugh caused you to smile a little.

"Cute."

Then, you fell for his personality. How friendly and welcoming he was with everyone, how thoughtful to those he held those dear and how mature and gives the best advice at times. He was like a canvas with similar yet different shades that you would only realize after looking closely.

Jae was not close to Wonpil by any means. 

It did not mean that they hated each other or anything but it is just that their friend circles never really clashed. So, Jae had no reason to protect Wonpil like he did that one time during his third recital. 

During his third recital, the seniors had Wonpil running around, forcing him to do stuff which would make him late to the recital. They went as far as to cut his formal clothes causing him to turn up with red slick back hair and blue button up which had caused a ruckus among the audience and judges for not being professional. But without a doubt, he was able to pull a performance that had the audience crying and reaching out for their tissues. 

Unfortunately, Wonpil was disqualified and was banned from joining in another recital in the event hall for not being "professional" and was reported for "harassing" the seniors that he had helped. 

That had caused you and Seungmin to fume in pure anger with how you had seen Wonpil going around to help the seniors, even going as far as to cut his practice time. 

It was the first time you saw Wonpil getting upset that he walked away. 

You and Seungmin were about to storm into the judges when Jae reached before the two of you could and provided them with evidence and eyewitnesses of the seniors bullying Wonpil and forcing him on errands. You watched in pure amazement at how the older glared the seniors down. 

When you asked why would he stand up for a total stranger, his reply would always be the same. 

"Why not?"

After, you just could not help but pay attention to him no matter where he goes. It's like your eyes would constantly be searching for him. There was just something about his presence that made you look at him in amazement. 

What do you like about Jae?

"I don't know. I just like him."

You should probably trust Hyunjin more than you did because the outfit he put together really looked good. Not only you looked good but you also feel good in the outfit. So there you were with nervous jitters waiting outside the cafe for Jae, typing at your phone furiously, trying to calm yourself down.

"Coming in?" 

Jae's voice hollered from the car as you look up from your phone. You darted into the car taking the seat next to the driver's and greeted him casually. You tried to avoid his look, considering how he actually put effort in looking good and you could barely stop yourself from combusting at the sight. 

"Looking good today."

"Thanks. You too, Jae. It's been awhile since I saw you in something other than a shirt."

"That's cause I'm usually half awake and late for work."

"Well, does that mean that you are late everyday?" 

"Hush now little one."

Laughing quietly at his words, you guys started talking about random things and before you know it, you were already there in the club.

"Nervous?" 

He asked, seeing how you hesitate after parking the car nearby. An arm over your shoulder had you calming down almost instantly. It was as if just knowing that Jae was there brought you calmer. 

"Is this the wrong time to tell you that this is my first time going to a club?" 

"You mean to tell me… you're a club fetus?!" 

You giggle at his dramatic scandalised face and playfully pushed him away. He laughed and placed his hands on your shoulder leading the way. 

"Don't worry and just stay close."
