i usually stay quiet because i don’t like to engage in fandoms of any kind anymore, but the things i’ve been shown from iwtv twitter is concerning. idk what assad/armand fans think they’re trying to achieve by disrespecting jacob, delainey, sam, and the rest of the cast by saying armand is the sole reason anyone watches this show and that he’s the best actor on the show etc, but yall are not doing yourselves any favors. this is not tvd. this is not the cw. using assad for agenda shipping purposes because you hate sam/lestat, and reducing louis to an object or a prize to be won, and trying to knock louis/jacob out of his lead position on a show where he is the best/most nuanced written gay BLACK male character in history is disgusting and so extremely disrespectful to jacob who is literally the cutest/kindest human being ever.
this show is a team effort. everyone involved with iwtv are master class actors, writers, set designers, etc and when it comes to acting—to credit one actor for the show’s success is very off putting. (especially when you take into account delainey had only two weeks to prepare for claudia and gave the performance of a lifetime.) there are many who do not engage with this fandom because of takes like this and all this will do is put people off assad/armand which is the last thing anyone needs. cast members of color and characters of color should not be pit against each other on the ONLY show on tv right now that allows them to be great.

I’m so sorry but I think that the funniest thing they did in Top Gun Maverick was the fact that to try to beat the “Top Gun is really fucking gay” allegations they paired Mav up with a different woman this time but in doing so accidentally validated an entirely new gay ship. It’s like. Hey. Lean in real close. Hey. Mav’s got a new girlfriend this time and they’re exes with a fraught past but over the course of the movie make up and get back together, isn’t that so romantic? And then five feet away from all that shit Rooster and Hangman are just straight up saying they have an history with each other and they hold an intense rivalry before they eventually get over their differences and become friends and all the while Rooster is telling Hangman he looks good for the fiftieth fucking time that day and they keep playing romantic songs to piss each other off. The most hilarious thing is that the writers constantly use Maverick’s romances from both movies and basically parallel the only straight relationships with Rooster and Hangman’s relationship, and it’s like? Is this intentional? Is there something you want to tell us?? Because those two have STRONG hostile ex boyfriend energy if i’ve ever seen it, and if the writers want to convince me they’re straight they have another thing coming. If parallels with the only romance on screen then why no canon ex boyfriends. If parallels with both couples from both movies then why no gay. Hmm. Riddle me that Tom Cruise

The Article is questionable and presumptive but now that we're talking about it, did the timeline of "All tma creators insist the show is over and they're glad it ended -> RQ has financial troubles -> The creators of tma suddenly decide they want to keep continuing the story. for no reason 🥰🌸" not seem suspicious at all. the Kickstarter goals situation terrified me

If you ever wondered how NOT to write a song, allow me to walk you through my latest process.
First, I wrote a list of cool ideas. Cardboard instrument props, animated effects, fake blood, end of the world theming.
Then I developed on the last two ideas with some extra stuff. Change the theming up, decide on genre, come up with the vibe and certain shots, overall style.
(Now if you've been paying attention so far, you've noticed that I'm developing a music video but NOT THE ACTUAL SONG.)
Next I change the theme AGAIN, this time being the last. I finalize some ideas, but really this is just developing on everything I came up with before. So basically this is a fully-idealized music video. In here I also toss in some potential lyrics for vibes and whatnot. There is actually way way more than it sounds, I'm just being purposefully vague.
And now, FINALLY, after all that... I'm onto lyrics and tune.
Hey at least the MV's gonna go so hard. If it ever sees the light of day, that is.
