#Golly!#this is a shorter update but I wanted it to be that way. We've been in the house for a while. It's time to change some scenery!!#Chara using their game narrator voice like “golly!” and “amazing!”#Eimmet high :)) i was really hoping to be able to reference Temmie Chang here. An integral part of UT/DR!! She's awesome!#WE ARE OFFICIALLY ON Day 2 BABY #yes- there is still a little everyman easter egg as well as some other things... ;)#I tried so many new and different things for these panels. I was a little nervous implementing them. But im having a lot of fun with it!#i try to put my own artistic enjoyment above all other things :) its what I strive for.#Angle's landing day! excited for the festivities!#Chara is feeling stabby :)#loved detailing Chara's hand in the last page. When I detail the hands- just know shits getting real #I'm really happy with how I was able to redraw Toriel here. going crazyyyy at the thought of Ghost taking advantage of a reader who’s touch-starved and desperate for love, and whose life is unromantic and dull, all because he sees a trace of Soap in her after he passes away.

it could be because she looks similar to Soap or because she also possesses that pliable, complaisant trait he had. either way, Ghost is still reeling from Soap’s death. finds a perfect little bird whose day-to-day is prose-like and repetitive because she doesn’t have much going on for her. she keens at the barest hint of praise Ghost sends her way and that’s when he decides, yeah, close enough, and brings her home with him lol

Growing up w no Instagram does SOMETHING to a bitch like I really get taken aback by how second nature it is for people to whip out their phones and take pictures of the most mundane things. Not because I judge them for it but bc apart from selfies, pictures w friends, and obligatory pictures on trips I literally forget to take pictures of my life period

#I’m not the kind of girl who’ll be studying at a cafe and thinks to snap a picture of my cute latte art #I’m never somewhere and go Ohhh this would be a good angle…. Like I just don’t do that #At first the way I rationalized it is I don’t wanna stress myself out taking aesthetic pictures but now I’m like #Compared to other people I don’t rly have proof of cute little tender moments #And one day I’ll be old and decrepit and I won’t have many of these diminutive memories still #So I rly wanna change that by being more intentional ab taking photos #And maybe sharing some of them SPARINGLY bc I want it to mostly be for me #But just making it more of a priority to capture little things I’ll look back on when I’m older #I think taking more pictures is part of my 2024 resolution anyway I just haven’t implemented it thus far

so i rewatched nimona today and it was great but ive been puzzling over why on earth the director decided, when she thought ambrosius was confronting her with zero evidence beyond his faith in ballister, to pull out the actual proof of ballisters sword and kill him with it.

it seemed like the most incriminating possible choice!

and then i realized she did it with ballister's sword because she was going to frame him for ambrosius's death, too.

Theres a ton of inspiring game devs (and actual game devs) on this site and this is a message for them

Please include wheelchairs in customization. Include player characters who are in wheelchairs. I'm begging you.

There are less than a handful of playable characters in wheelchairs I can think of (and most of them are ableist haha funny characters like the guy from happy wheels)

I promise you, any extra work that needs to be done to make them playable IS worth it. I don't give a fuck if its not realistic. Most people can't fling fireballs in real life either.

Like I've seen prosthetics, I've seen glasses, when I've brought up wheelchairs to devs they say the best they can do is braces and maybe crutches or a cane. Maybe a hearing aid.

I've SEEN the amazing stuff that can be made, and I'm tired of devs whining that it's too hard. It's too late to add something that complex. Well maybe you should've thought about wheelchairs in the early stages instead of adding representation as an afterthought.

The only time we are thought of is when its a horror game or for a fucking joke.
