it is all chaos and entropy. the thing is that the chaos and entropy make it beautiful and lovely.

yes, it's true that nature and the universe are uncaring and unspecific, and that is terrifying. i have lived through some of the unfairness - i got born like this, with my body caving into itself, with this ironic love of dance when i sometimes can't stand up for longer than 15 minutes. i am a poet with hands that are slowly shutting down - i can't hold a pen some days. recently i found a dead bird on our front porch. she had no visible injuries. she had just died, the way things die sometimes.

it is also true that nature and the universe are uncaring and unspecific, and that is wonderful. the sheer happenstance that makes rain turn into a rainbow. the impossible coincidence of finding your best friend. i have made so many mistakes and i have let myself down and i have harmed other people by accident. nature moves anyway. on the worst day of my life she delivers me an orange juice sunset, as if she is saying try again tomorrow.

how vast and unknowing the universe! how small we are! isn't that lovely. the universe has given us flowers and harp strings and the shape of clouds. how massive our lives are in comparison to a grasshopper. the world so bright, still undiscovered. even after 30 years of being on this earth, i learned about a new type of animal today: the dhole.

chance echoing in my life like a harmony between two people talking. do you think you and i, living in different worlds but connected through the internet - do you think we've ever seen the same butterfly? they migrate thousands of miles. it's possible, right?

how beautiful the ways we fill the vastness of space. i love that when large amounts of people are applauding in a room, they all start clapping at the same time. i love that the ocean reminds us of our mother's heartbeat. i love that out of all the colors, chlorophyll chose green. i love the coincidences. i love the places where science says i don't know, but it just happens.

"the universe doesn't care about you!" oh, i know. that's okay. i care about the universe. i will put my big stupid heart out into it and watch the universe feast on it. it is not painful. it is strange - the more love you pour into the unfeeling world, the more it feels the world loves you in return. i know it's confirmation bias. i think i'm okay if my proof of kindness is just my own body and my own spirit.

i buried the bird from our porch deep in the woods. that same day, an old friend reaches out to me and says i miss you. wherever you go, no matter how bad it gets - you try to do good.

#iasip #mac macdonald #s3e11 dennis looks like a registered sex offender #just rewatched this episode. god it's so good definitely in my top 10 overall in the show #the dinner scene my forever beloved i hold you close to my heart. it's so insanely satisfying from a writing perspective.#the way it all ties together and even though it's a scene about a dinner being fucking ruined and its got these #relatively high emotional stakes its so so. neatly written that it ends up feeling cathartic? in a way #idk what im saying man that scene's just really good #something about mac and charlie's scheme and motivations clashing with their parents' (and franks)#and them being kind of forced to reckon with the fact that their parents are real people with their owns wants and needs #(especially mac charlie ends up using this to his advantage and kind of betraying mac ig)#also a scene that emotional ending with a shot of charlie going Ohh and the seed has been planted is wild.#also mac being so worried about the fact that the vibe might be off... DO YOU WANT FLAT AMBIANCE???#he just wants things to be normal!! he just wants a normal nice dinner party and normal parents who are together and happy and love eo!!#also there's a motif that shows up repeatedly of him wanting to seem like a good dinner host lol just kind of noticed that idk #maybe reading into this too much but god the theme of him so often being in denial of reality in order to #live up to certain societal standards and achieve normalness.#this is kind of the first (and imo one of the best) episodes with a plot line about mac's relationships with his parents #and their family dynamic in general which i find so so fascinating.#also i think this is the only time (except for the christmas video) where we see mac's parents together.#on a lighter note ig the dinner scene has so many other great quotes... charlies so funny in it #the man doesnt blink mom the man doesnt blink!!#the charmac in this episode was so excellent in general. the car scene where they freak out and become convinced luthers going to kill them.#YOU DONT DO THAT! i want to know about differences between dalish clans. does vallaslin vary at all between different clans? what about ones that live in wildly different climates? are there dalish clans that don't live primarily in forests, but wander in mountains or deserts?

also god my expectations were skewed so hard because i got the other speedrun achievement solely by accident because i play games like i dont want to be there. like i am DESPERATE to escape and i can only do so by finishing and there's a bomb set to explode in 10 milliseconds. but suddenly i try to do this shit on purpose and OOHHH-

The Infamous Stream (LN4)

Summary: When Max streams and the chat goes wild for Lando and Y/n’s sappy love

Warnings: really nothing yall have at it (except for like one minor insinuation to sex? But its literally like two words tbh)

"Don't mind Y/n and Lando behind me. They fell asleep on my bed after being here for an hour." Max's voice cut through Y/n's unconscious state. Slowly, her mind noted Lando's chest against her forehead and his arms wrapped securely around her. His chest rose and fell at a slow pace and his lips rested right at the top of her head, slightly kissing her hair. If it wasn't for his hands refusing to let her go and the warmth that radiated off his body, Y/n would have gotten up and out of her sleeping position once her brain comprehended that Max wasn't speaking to himself, but to his chat on his stream. With his hoodie engulfing her body, she snuggled further into her boyfriend and tightened her arms around his neck.

"When they wake up, I'm going to tell them about all of you in here going crazy for boyfriend Lando." Max's booming laugh seemed to wake the boy in Y/n's arms as his arms around her tightened and the pressure of his lips against her head lessened.

Seeming to think she was still asleep, Lando whispered, "Quiet down, Max. You're gonna wake her up."

From her position against his chest, Y/n groggily murmured, "No, I'm awake."

Lando's hand came up to cradle the back of her head as she moved to look up at him, "How did we even fall asleep?" Her eyebrows furrowed together and Lando smiled down at her, finding her adorable moments after she had woken up from a nap.

Max chuckled, "Maybe because my bed is so comfortable."

Lando's eyes met Max's over Y/n's head, watching as the chat absolutely blew up over the couple, "No way, Y/n's bed is way more comfortable. She has one of those memory foam mattresses and everything."

"And how would you know that?" Max wiggled his eyebrows at the couple as Y/n blushed and stuffed her face back into Lando's chest.

Lando groaned as his head pulled back, "You wanker."

Finally, Y/n decided it was time to end the cuddling session that was being broadcast to thousands, so she pulled away from her boyfriend and hopped off the bed. However, she couldn't escape from the room quick enough seeing as Max ushered her and Lando over.

"Come on, you guys have got to see these comments." With Lando getting up from the bed and Max's hand hastily waving her face, Y/n took a closer look at the words rapidly appearing on the screen.

Other comments continued to come in, but Y/n could only read a few. Each of them made her smile as fans talked about how happy Lando looked to be with her. The couple had decided early on that they would keep the majority of their time together private and to themselves, so Y/n could gather that the lovey-dovey moment everyone just witnessed was something entirely foreign. She wouldn't mention that Lando was an incredibly clingy boyfriend who always wanted to be near her or touching her whenever they were in close vicinity to one another and she definitely wouldn't mention that usually their cuddling sessions turned not-so-innocent after an hour or two. All she could do was smile up at the man who was already staring at her like she hung the stars and the moon just for him.

All of a sudden, Lando was hysterically laughing beside her as he pointed to a comment that was quickly disappearing behind all the other chats being sent in. Luckily, she was able to read the words before they were lost and when she did, she couldn't help but join her boyfriend in his hysterics.

It was a sweet comment and Y/n was grateful the two weren't being bombarded by hateful remarks like some of the other drivers on the grid had to go through when they went public. One of the reasons why Lando had been so hesitant to announce her identity to the rest of the F1 world was because of all the potential hate she could get. However, after years together they realized they couldn't just keep it all a secret when they were likely to get married and live out the rest of their days together.

As if to cut through her overwhelming thoughts, Lando's hand came to rest around her waist as he smiled down at her and said, "I have no rizz. I really don't know how I got so lucky."

How to explain to people I care for how special they are to me without being creepy 😔

#miranda talking shit #Like dude... If youre one of the 3 people i want to be bothered by... Youre so fucking special #If youre one of the 3 people i can hold eye contact with for more than two seconds per conversation youre so amazing #If youre one of the 2 people i can talk to for hours without feeling social/mental fatigue... Youre top tier #Like i likr a lot of people but there are so few who i can say do not tire me or i am very truly comfortable with #And i wish i could make them understand how big of a deal it is for me... For me that is so special. I dont have many people like that #I have people i can allow to bother me and will be okay with it but only a couple i genuinely want them to bother me #Text me call me talk to me whenever i love you and am not ever bothered by you and i always have time for you #Fabian is definitely one and i think he doesnt get it bc we have gone through many periods of weeks where we talk daily #Sometimes we dont for weeks at all. But hes one of the rare people i can feel ... Im not fatigued by.#I love many people but most will take different amounts of social energy from me. Some more than others so i really have to be in the right #Place to be able to handle them. So when i find the people who i dont get that with who i can just be around and talk with without feeling #The fatigue im... I wish i could explain how truly special they are to me. Everyone and everything tire me but you #And oliver is one out of 3 people (my mom being one and Linnéa friend since we were 13 is another) who i can look in the eyes #For many times for long periods and i dont feel .. Uneasy. Like thats actually amazing. The privilege and/or superpower you have is huge #Idk what it is with oliver. Idk i know i like him but the fact im so comfortable is wild. #eso #elder scrolls online #the fact it tool this to make me realize why the past two dlc add ons have been free #to sell the chapter...you only got the rewards if you got the chapter so the chapter sold...#so its a not a matter of worrying if the chapter will sell at launch because its okay of it fails #we can quickly fix up the dlc and add hooks to malnipulate people into buying it later #even though theyre silencing comments Im glad the community is being more outspoken #if we dont shut up i want to believe we can have a good game again #personally...i think when the original loremaster retired the new team got nervous and thus has tried to play it safe with greymoor #and that crashed and burned and has made the recovery horrible #blackwood was fantastic but thw trust was broken and a lot of players didnt want to put the same amount of money and energy into the #new chapter because greymoor was HYPED like crazy and so the let down was soul crushing #made worse by them totally disconnecting to anyone who didnt agree or praise the chapter #which led to infandom tension between people who liked it and who didnt #the devs just made a huge mistake and its still costing them and they arent doing themselves any favors #spending money for advertising and big names for voice acting wont save you it only wastes money #money that could be spent towards hiring in maybe new blood with new ideas #the game was good before because it didnt care about pissing off the main core tes community it just went WILD with its content #and we loved it #keep being outspoken like this #i want a stable fun game back with promising new chapters and dlc #im not giving up
