A choral + rap song explaining the social upheaval of the Industrial Revolution as a backdrop to the campy goodness of the 1880s vampire-hunting story of the first arc of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Pure musical goodness. XD

蛍の光 (Hotaru no Hikari), a Japanized version of Auld Lang Syne. I associate it with Dimple from mp100 for... reasons.

(some) Saiki k characters watching mob psycho 100

Kaidou: he would watch it and like it a lot, especially the fight scenes. Has merch and his favorite character is Ritsu (he swears he understands him #emocore). He once told Saiki he would like to be an esper and Saiki was like: . Unimpressed. and offended. Plays the intros to hype himself up alone in his room bc THEYRE BANGERS.

Saiki: He would act like it's whatever but he enjoys it a lot. He read the manga before the third season aired so he knows what happens but has been trying to avoid people from finding out bc he wants everyone to experience it spoiler-free and I think that's beautiful. Lowkey wants to be friends with Mob because he's quiet too and a good kid (wants him to introduce him to stim toys to help him deal w his emotions). Doesn't like Reigen much bc he's so EXTRA and sees how he wants to take advantage of Mob but grows on him when he sees Reigen does care abt Mob and how he makes the rat man a better person. Rolls his eyes at Mob when he gets nervous around girls bc "they're corrupting him, that's not him. Stop polluting his mind, he only wants to play with cats and drink milk" (that's so funny to me). He applauds Reigen for being -surprisingly- the only one with a brain cell when a middle schooler has to fight a 40 y/o man bc it is pathetic.

Aren: he has cried watching this show at least TWICE, okay?? believe me. Was introduced by Shun and he thinks the show changed his life for the better (don't we all). Likes how Mob has changed the people around him and he's one of those people who would beat the crap out of you if you say something mean abt the style of the manga/anime or disrespect Mob and I love him for that. Likes the Onigawara arc and his growth bc he reminds him of himself (both punks who got friends and became less better ppl). Wanted to beat the shit out of Reigen during the separation arc but after he saw the rat's real (and empty) life he thinks he's pathetic. Still cried during the "I've known all along, the truth about my master is..." bc he's human. "Shun, there's no way Teru is straight. Look at him, how he looks at Mob. This is crushing on your best friend 101, believe me, I know about this" He sees Teru's true colors, and even though he doesn't ship TeruMob necessarily, he still thinks Teru has a big crush on Mob (which I thought everyone already knew but ok).

Nendou: "that flying fart is funny" "why's that guy naked". That's all.

Hairo: HE'S A FAN OF THE BODY IMPROVING CLUB LADS, he is an honorary member at this point. Just watched the show for them and loves Mob, always proud of him for giving his best.

1. Purson Soi 🎺 Mairimashita! Iruma-kun

i think this one was obvious afdsgbg. i just love him sm, and the fact that you can see little snippets of him from the beginning of the series is fantastic and you never know where he's lurking is just so cool. he's so relatable and just a really well written character (every character in mairuma is well-written i love mairuma sm)

2. Kageyama Shigeo 🌻 Mob Psycho 100

one of my favorite characters in mp100 it was hard to choose but i ultimately decided on mob! related to him so much i cried multiple times while watching the series (never skipped the opening it's such a banger). he's so nice and cool, and so damn relatable. he's got his funny moments too, despite being a strong psychic/esper he just wants to live his life regularly and not thinking himself as above others. this series is 100% fantastic, if you want a new anime to watch or manga to read, 100% recommend

3. Agatsuma Zenitsu ⚡ Demon Slayer

honestly i was so annoyed at him and his crying but realized: "Oh i relate to him" so that was a crisis /lh. but yeah i can see how his crying and whining can get annoying and get many fans to dislike him, but seeing his backstory, experiences, and just basic personality remove the crying. i'll be crying every day if i were him too. he's just so cool and awesome, he gets confidence whenever he falls asleep but when he wakes up his self esteem and confidence plummets, he only knows one breathing form but he mastered it to the T!

4. Akane Aoi ⏳ Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun

akane aoi! idk why but he's just really cool, part supernatural, clock keeper of the present. his 'love' for aoi is more of an obsession with her. his entire character revolves around her, and that's gotta spark some identity crisis within himself some day, i love it.

(lemon yamabuki is a close runner-up though i need more content of lemon)

5. Furuichi Takayuki Beelzebub

oooo boy this series is an old one but i still love it with all my heart. furuichi takayuki! best friend of tatsumi oga! the tactician/general of the delinquent school, ishiyama high! he's known as the 'Perverted' character and gets beat up for it a l o t in canon but i love how its not his ONLY defining trait, they also handled the pervert issue in my favorite arc in the manga and showed how one-dimensional and shallow the characters see him. he's so well-written and fleshed out and his entire character is *chef's kiss* i love him so much and can go in an entire rant about him but this is long enough.

6. Cheslock 🎻 Black Butler

he gave me so much gender envy when i first saw him. please he's so cool and despite his punk aesthetic he's a musical genius i cant wait to see him get animated. he's actually a side character but honestly i dont care i just love that he exists but is chronically underrated please-

7. Jun'ichiro Tanizaki ❄️ Bungo Stray Dogs

ok first up- his relationship with his sister is 100% WEIRD, there is a chance that theyre not actually related but it's still quite weird to do romantic acts with someone you openly call a sibling. disregarding that, tanizaki is a force to be reckoned with ngl, he's scary when he needs to be, his ability is strong and the way he utilizes it is amazing. he looks so harmless but he can actually kill you. i want his sweater right there it looks comfortable especially with the long sleeves i can hide my hands in as well

8. Zuko 🔥 Avatar: the Last Airbender

need i explain more. he's ZUKO. the ORIGINAL bad guy gets redemption arc, but done 100% RIGHT. they gave him a tragic backstory, stubborn and determined personality, funny personality and memorable quotes, and the most memorable hair journey. flameo hotman.

9. Anthony J Crowley 😈 Good Omens

i love him sm, he's so funny and cool, radiates sm gender envy too and i want to steal his entire closet. despite being a demon he's undeniably not Evil, he causes mischief efficiently, and i love efficiency.

10. Barbatos ☕ Obey Me

i don't know why he's my favorite he just is. he's so nice and kind in-game, he's efficient, competent, charming, i love him sm. he can basically do everything, a walking tea encyclopedia, likes heavy metal, and greatly dislikes rats. he can also control time and timelines?? so cool why dont people like barbatos more

we're binging mob psycho 100 season 3 for new years and i honestly cant believe i forgot how high quality and just...GOOD this show is. its so wholesome and has such a great message even in the first ep of this season. like it really warms my heart and every episode is such a banger animation and story wise

2, a song you like with a number in the title: two songs that not only have numbers in the title but are about counting! first is 74 by itoki hana. i like this one a lot for the story it tells... i won't say anything else. another one: 99 from mob psycho 100. gotta rep my mp100 roots... this song is a good message wrapped in a banger song

11, a song you never get tired of: ooh ive got lots of these... gotta limit myself. melty land nightmare grows on me more everytime i listen to it (the project sekai version is also good). lots of songs from the crane wives (love them) are like this for me too, my favorite ones are curses, the moon will sing, tongues & teeth, and i talk in my sleep. curses wasn't much to me first listen but quickly became one of my favorite songs the winner though is white space from omori (not the piano version it gives me a headache) not because its one of my favorite songs but just bc its so simple i feel like i could actually listen to it forever. it means everything is also like this but because its so raw with emotion.

the character design in mp100 is great a lot of the time, i keep seeing side characters w like banger designs i want their gender or they look cool as hell etc, but like, i dont know how to feel about shous design. It’s not bad, he just looks like a Beyblade Burst character

the rlly cool thing abt s3s intro is the intensity of it. like it ramps up like crazy and u can rlly tell how grand it is and how it was made for an equally grand story, mobs name is also only mentioned a few times i think(?) so its also like a if u didnt know it was a mob psycho song it would still be a very banger intro song . which i mean is like, even out of the context of the story its very very cool while without the context of mp100 the other two intros wouldnt rlly make sense (cuz ppl would be like who tf is mob why r they counting up etc etc) and uhhh yeah basically this fucks and uh i love the animation for it too they rlly went wild with the visuals with this one. also listenin to the instrumental is making me feel like a shonen protagonist
