Okay can I ask, very nicely, pretty please can I ask you to elaborate on why you think Yuma is schizo-spec? 👀
Okay so tbh I mostly see him like that because he's Just Like Me Fr and the highest honor I can bestow upon my little blorbos is my mental illness.
BUT! There's also something so relatable about his entire situation with Shinigami and his paranoia and also, drawing from Makoto, his routines and fixations on random strange things. They've also both got some speech and communication issues, using strange synonyms and examples- disorganized speech 100%. He probably isn't schizospec but he is to ME and that's all that matters
(Also to expand on the Shinigami bit I always relate to medias where a fella can see ghosts or creatures and people think/will think they're crazy if they say anything about it. Paranorman, Death Note, etc)

What are your sexuality headcanons for all your superhero faves?
Oh my god do you know how many superhero favs I have
The OG, first in my heart, first in my tags, Buffy Summers: bisexual. End of story thank you
Willow Rosenberg is also bisexual tho whether she's a superhero I guess is more up to debate. One of the biggest cases of bisexual erasure in the history of television, in this essay I will
Actually warning you most of these are going to be bisexual
Peter Parker? Bisexual. Literally always. There has never been a straight Peter Parker the media is lying to you
Mary Jane Watson? Bisexual
Tim Drake? Bisexual (obviously as this is canon but it needs to be stated)
Matt Murdock? Bisexual
As are all his friends so Elektra, Foggy, Karen, etc, all bisexual
(I am working off the show for daredevil characters I'll get to the comics I swear I promise!!! I've read two whole issues that's progress right)
Gwen Stacy, in any and all iterations? Bisexual. ESPECIALLY Spider-Gwen/Ghost Spider but also 616 and 617 and tasm!Gwen
Emjay I believe is canonically a lesbian but it might be up to audience interpretation. Either way I can also see her as bisexual
Dick Grayson is bisexual, obviously
Roy Harper is also bisexual
Kory is bisexual
Actually there has yet to be a teen titans member who isn't bisexual
Except for Bart who's gray ace biromantic
Kon is bisexual, obviously, following this path
So is Cassie
(I've been reliably secondhand headcanoned that Cissie's a lesbian but a. she wasn't a teen titan b. I've read very little YJ)
Deadpool is omni or pan! That's different!
We've gone over this before and we'll go over it again: Jason Todd is aroace, maybe demi aroace. Maybe even demi aroace and gay
Murderdock is gay
Clark Kent is heterosexual, actually. He's biromantic tho
More importantly he's lois-sexual
Lois is bisexual tho
Smallville!Oliver Queen specifically is also bisexual because a. I love him and this is the highest honor I can bestow upon him and b. He like everyone else on that goddamn show was also in love with Clark
Actually now I need a Smallville!Clark/Lois/Oliver threesome fic. Something to think about
Magneto is, and I know this is going to be a big surprise to all of you, bisexual
Stephanie Brown is bisexual
Cassandra Cain is an ace lesbian
Diana (WW) is another canonically bisexual character but everyone's too big of a coward to write her a female love interest. It's worse than Wade he just got his first non binary love interest and he's only been around for 32 years
Idk I'm probably leaving someone important off just assume they're bisexual unless they're canonically queer in which case I respect that. Unless it was bisexual erasure in which case they're once again bisexual

The Tuttle Story: "Books to Span the East and West"
Many people are surprised to learn that the world's largest publisher of books on Asia had its humble beginnings in the tiny American state of Vermont. The company's founder, Charles E. Tuttle, belonged to a New England family steeped in publishing. Immediately after WW II, Tuttle served in Tokyo under General Douglas MacArthur and was tasked with reviving the Japanese publishing industry. He later founded the Charles E. Tuttle Publishing Company, which thrives today as one of the world's leading independent publishers. Though a westerner, Tuttle was hugely instrumental in bringing a knowledge of Japan and Asia to a world hungry for information about the East. By the time of his death in 1993, Tuttle had published over 6,000 books on Asian culture, history and art—a legacy honored by the Japanese emperor with the "Order of the Sacred Treasure," the highest tribute Japan can bestow upon a non-Japanese. “With a backlist of 1,500 titles, Tuttle Publishing is more active today than at any time in its past—inspired by Charles Tuttle's core mission to publish fine books to span the East and West and provide a greater understanding of each.”
Excerpt From: Yoel Hoffmann. “Japanese Death Poems: Written by Zen Monks and Haiku Poets on the Verge of Death.” Apple Books. Interesting Tuttle humble beginning story, yet the irony I had since 2007 still lingers, about the print is dead, publishing struggles in the new age of tech since Amazon Kindle. The News Media struggles to compete with all this digital platform. 2007 was the wake up call when the recession hits Australia, right after my graduation. Lots of publishing company collapsed and forcefully laid of its workers.
Last weekend I went over to BBW Big Bad Wolf book sales of the year, most of the visitors are book enthusiast obviously but the range of the book is not much, import book are leftovers, the Indonesian book are just not interesting enough. The only biggest range was the children section, selling along with the toys. This year some Indonesia bookstores has closed their offline stores (Book & Beyond, Gunung Agung end of this year) due to bankruptcy and big sales is the only time for book lovers to buy at bargain price. Only 3 bookstores has left in Jakarta alone (Kinokuniya, Periplus, Gramedia). I wonder what will be the fate of printed books and bookstores in the near future? Where book has its expired date when we don't know how to take care of them. Today just got a second hand book that has been yellowish and fungi mould from second hand book online store. Hope all the book out there has a second life. Burn after reading.

Mind Control
Part One
Brainwashing is a commitment and investment of time and effort, so i see it as the highest honor an Alpha can bestow upon a fag like me. It’s hard to think i am worth that kind of sustained attention. But then, it occurs to me that perhaps my low assessment of myself is more than just humility. Could it be i’ve already plummeted down the rabbit hole, and that this brief elucidation is only possible because i’m looking up from where i’ve fallen instead of down into the abyss?
My mind is no longer able to hold onto such thoughts for long, and they quickly weaken as the strengthening stream of hot piss draws me back. My lips form a gentle seal around Daddy's flaccid shaft as i quickly swallow the first mouthful. My hands are equally reverential as i hold onto the back of His hairy thighs for connection and comfort. Although i’ve momentarily closed my eyes, i can still feel his cold aloofness. He doesn’t touch me or speak to me as i struggle not to choke or spill a drop.
Even though this is the first time i’ve done this, i needed no instruction or command. He’d sipped His coffee as though i wasn’t even there when i’d carefully pulled His cock through the slit of His boxers. Had i acted on instinct? Intuition? Or had something triggered me to obey a command i don’t remember receiving?
It takes expertise and patience to uncover and then manipulate someone’s vulnerabilities and core beliefs - although, perhaps not as much when that someone voluntarily exposes their inner thoughts and desires across social media. He seems to know exactly when to use words, physical dominance, humiliation, pain, and pleasure in ways that reinforce my gross inferiority, and thus my perpetual gratefulness for anything He gives me.
i can’t say that i know when exactly it happened, that moment when i stopped thinking for myself. i vaguely remember a time when i thought it was all just a game, something i could easily extricate myself from. Now, i’ve lost track of time and days, of eating, using the bathroom, or showering. Pleasing Him is the only thing that matters.
He has the power to make memories disappear or return with a single word. And as He finishes, i hear the word that floods my mind with awareness that i’ve been living off His cum and piss for a week now, and nothing more. And as i gasp in shock, another word from above me ushers in visions of Men surrounding me and brutally using me, one after another, filling my cunt to overflowing as Daddy watches from a comfortable recliner nearby.
i remember who i am, what i’ve lost, and what i’ve left behind and i start to cry. i stare up at Him in horror. He lifts my chin to get a good look at my tear-stained face and smiles. “You’re so beautiful when you’re broken.” And then with a word, i feel a white, warm calm envelope me once more. i give no resistance as He leads me on my knees, pulling me by the hair to a room i’ve come to associate with pain. i shudder and whimper quietly in excited anticipation. Daddy’s broken little princess.

Prince Harry And Meghan Markle's New Royal Titles Have Ties To This Anti-Slavery Supporter
Wow, they're in great company.
Prince Harry and actress Meghan Markle are officially married. People have wondered what their royal titles would be in the United Kingdom. Well, the wait is over, as now we all know.
Prince Harry will be known as His Royal Highness The Duke of Sussex, Earl of Dumbarton and Baron Kilkeel. Meghan will be known forever as Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex, according to the royal collection.
She's the first person to hold the title, CNN reports. But she's in great company.
Behind every royal title, there's a story and meaning attached to it. The only other person to have the title of Duke of Sussex was Prince Augustus Frederick, son of King George III and Queen Charlotte.
Frederick was a passionate anti-slavery campaigner and an advocate for Catholics and Jews. This title was bestowed upon him in 1801.
As the son of what many consider England's first black royal, Queen Charlotte, Frederick's title being passed along to Prince Harry holds extreme historic significance.
The Queen chose their titles prior to Saturday's royal wedding. She chose from the customary titles of duke, marquess, earl, viscount or baron and women titles of duchess, marchioness, countess, viscountess, and baroness. To be a named a duke is the highest honor. Typically, family members hold the title of duke or duchess.

He was the only surviving son of George III who did not pursue an army or navy career. He was known for his liberal views, which included reform of Parliament, abolition of the slave trade, Catholic emancipation, and the removal of existing civil restrictions on Jews and dissenters

Six Very Black Moments From The Royal Wedding That Had Us All Shook
We had no idea it would be this black.
For months now, we have impatiently waited for the royal wedding to unfold before us. Prince Harry and American actress Meghan Markle's highly anticipated union was expected to be historic in many ways.
But once the big day was upon us we were all shook from the bountiful display of blackness. Beautiful black people showed up and showed out as the world watched. Here are six of the blackest moments from Saturday’s royal wedding.
Bishop Michael Curry brought down the house.
The Chicago-born bishop electrified hundreds of attendees at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Curry turned the historically white church on its head by preaching with soul and about the power of love.
“We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way, “ he said in his sermon.
He stood in front of the royal family with pride and grace, reminding them of the horrors of slavery while also telling the world that survivors used their love for God to withstand hell.
“I’m talking about some power. Real power,” he continued. “Power to change the world. If you don’t believe me, well, there were some old slaves in America’s antebellum South who explained the dynamic power of love and why it has the power to transform.”
A black choir sang like angels
An award-winning choir of beautiful black Brits led by director Karen Gibson filled the chapel with the sounds of a black church on Easter Sunday.
This 19-year-old cellist was the epitome of black excellence
Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason was personally invited by Markle to perform at the wedding. And, man, he did not disappoint.
A black princess was on hand to show love
Hailing from the South African nation of Lesotho, Prince Seeiso and Princess Mabereng were at the royal wedding rooting for the happy couple.
Meghan's mom showed up looking as unapologetically black as possible
Doria Markle did not hide the things that made her black. She wore locs and a nose ring with absolute pride.
Black celebs showed up and showed out in their finest threads
Actor Idris Elba and his partner Nayiana Garth and tennis superstar Serena Williams showed up in stunning royal attire.
Also, Oprah Winfrey was in attendance, too, because... duh!

Bishop Michael Curry Discusses Slavery And MLK In Royal Wedding Sermon, Gets Priceless Reactions From Royal Family
His sermon about love was a message for the world to hear.
Bishop Michael Curry was without a doubt one of the standout moments of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's grandiose royal wedding.
Curry's bold sermon Saturday set social media ablaze for its passionate words and unapologetic blackness, which likely left the royal family a little shook, too.
Invoking the words of civil rights icon, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Curry preached in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle about the importance of love in all things that we do.
“Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm; for love is strong as death, passion fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a raging flame. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can floods drown it," he said to the royal wedding attendees. “We must discover the power of love, the redemptive power of love. And when we do that, we will be able to make of this old world a new world. Love is the only way.”
The Chicago native, who rose up the ranks as a preacher to become the leader of the Episcopal Church in the United States, took the royals, Hollywood celebrities, and politicians off guard when he went on to mention slavery in his sermon as well.
“I’m talking about some power. Real power,” he continued. “Power to change the world. If you don’t believe me, well, there were some old slaves in America’s antebellum South who explained the dynamic power of love and why it has the power to transform. They explained it this way: They sang a spiritual, even in the midst of their captivity. It’s one that says there is a balm in Gilead, a healing balm — something that can make things right. There is a balm in Gilead to make the wounded whole.”
There was definitely no avoiding the looks on the royal wedding guests' faces upon this unexpected portion of Curry's speech.
The English played an instrumental role in the slave trade. The wealth that the British royal family enjoys today likely comes from the revenue made by enslaved West Africans toiling away in the New World for free. Curry's sermon reminded the chapel that those slaves' faith — their love for God — kept them alive.
Twitter took notice of how important Curry's words were at this moment, too.
Source: https://blavity.com/bishop-michael-curry-discusses-slavery-and-mlk-in-royal-wedding-sermon-gets-priceless-reactions-from-royal-family
-
Comments:
"Bishop Curry is looking at Harry like "Act right" & now Stand By Me? Meghan just told the world who her people are no matter what. This is gorgeous #RoyalWedding"
"A black reverend preaching to British royalty about the resilience of faith during slavery is 10000000% not what I thought I was waking up for, the royal wedding is good."
"In 1619, the first captive Africans arrived in the British colony of Jamestown, Virginia. 399 years later, a descendant of African-American slaves and sharecroppers from North Carolina and Alabama delivered the sermon at a British #RoyalWedding."
After his words rang throughout the chapel, the Kingdom Choir full of black Brits sang a rendition of Ben E. King's 'Stand By Me.'"

Three Steps to Identify Trending Content
A typical day in the life of a content marketer is somewhat like this: get into work, log in, grab a cup of coffee and, on a good day, get straight down to business to create top trending content that grabs thousands of eyeballs. On a bad day, you’ll often find us tearing out our hair, trying to figure out what makes for content that people actually want to read. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
The trick is to take off your marketing hat and think like a consumer while brainstorming for relevant content. This seems counter-intuitive, but if you take a step back, you’ll see that people really want to read about things they care about or more often than not: top trending topics. That is the (not so) secret behind creating content that converts.
Then there’s the small matter of finding content that’s relevant to your industry—and the near-constant influx of content on every social channel doesn’t always help matters. So, what do you do? More importantly, how do you ride the wave of a top trending topic before it starts trending? We all know serious content production can’t really happen overnight. In this blog, I’ll share three easy steps to identify trending content.
Step 1: Use Your Audience
The first step is to find out where your audience hangs out. Is it Reddit? Is it Twitter? Imgur? While looking for top trending content, it’s essential to bring all the knowledge you have about your audience to the table and use every bit of it. That’s what Asos did for their Winter 2012 campaign which won them a —one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon advertisers and marketers—and additionally, a cool £5m in sales. They were well aware that the process of “getting ready” was a big deal for their target audience and they harnessed this fact to draft a highly successful campaign.
We can’t all be Asos, but we definitely know where to look for information that can help us formulate campaigns that do wonders for our business.
There are several free social media monitoring tools online that you can use to find ideas for content such as Google Trends, RiteTag, and TweetDeck. At Talkwalker, we use our very own Free Social Search tool to identify trending topics that have the potential of becoming the next big thing for our target audience.
Let’s take a look at another brand, Anastasia Beverly Hills for example. This makeup brand has an outstanding social authority and a bunch of top trending hashtags for the makeup/cosmetics category. If I’m looking to find the next prominent hashtag or marketing campaign, I can do a quick search on my own hashtag, in this case: #anastasiabeverlyhills.
I can scroll down to related topics and identify a couple of emerging hashtags—in this case, #wakeupandmakeup and #makeupartist—and draft my next marketing campaign based on my findings. I can also target Instagram as my primary marketing channel because 97.5% of my social activity is happening there.
Voila! I have now outsourced my content brainstorming to my audience.
Step 2: Stay Relevant, Stay (Top) Trending
The most important thing to keep in mind when drafting a piece of content is relevance. It’s vital to understand the difference between what customers want to read and what we, as marketers, think they want to read. Lines get blurry after several rounds of editing which in the end produces content that doesn’t add value to the readers’ lives and most definitely doesn’t make it to the top trending category. Most readers really just want to read content that is useful—something they can apply in their daily lives or even better, their   Airbnb understood this and used it in their brilliant #livethere campaign from last year. They leveraged the fact that the millennial traveler doesn’t just want to tick things off their bucket lists—they want to experience a place like a local when they visit it.
Thus, Airbnb Experiences was born.
Note that Airbnb didn’t launch Experiences until last year—illustrating that timing (and relevance) really is everything.
Step 3: Keep it Simple
Content should be easily digestible. Period. You want to make sure that people don’t have to re-read sentences and paragraphs to make sense of what you’re trying to say. It works even better if you’re able to present your information in a relatable and humorous manner. You want your readers to be nodding along to your content as they read it because that’s what’s going to ensure that they keep reading till the end, and click on that CTA button you strategically placed. For a good example of this, take a page out of Kissmetrics’ book—not only is their blog content informative, but it’s also easy to understand and is genuinely useful for anyone who wants to learn more about marketing. They leverage the importance of segmenting and targeting your audience. Their content flows like a conversation, and unless you’re very, very sleepy, chances are you won’t stop reading, even though it’s long.
For an example of keeping it simple, that relates back to my first example for Anastasia Beverly Hills, something along the lines of a 2-3 minute #wakeupandmakeup brow challenge for make-up artists would be a good option.
Once you’ve figured out what the next big viral wave and top trending topic(s) could be and have designed your content and campaigns around it, it’s vital that you keep riding it until it dies down. This means outreach and influencer marketing should be added to your strategy as well. After all, content is only as good as the number of eyeballs it grabs, and a little help from influencers combined with lots of tracking and analysis doesn’t hurt.
Ultimately, good content and a high converting blog boil down to just two things: identifying top trending topics that your readers are talking about (or are likely to talk about shortly) and delivering crisp, informative content that resonates with them.
Do you have a formula for identifying trending topics? I’d love to hear in the comments below.
