Its a post order 66 stars wars fic. I think there's two in the series? But the premise is that padme gives birth on the way to mustfar so she and obi ean go on the run and meet up with Rex and ahsoka. Everybody is having a bad time in their grief and lashing out at obi wan who slowly stops talking. Eventually obi wan goes off on a solo mission and ends up rescuing Cody and a few other clones. They continued to go off on missions together and continue to save more clones. Eventually everybody starts to heal and make up.

Curious how people say that Palpatine & Anakin should have been kept apart because a politician wanting to mentor a teenager should be suspicious, but the same isn't said about Padme & Ahsoka.

I'm observing that Anakin wasn't allowed a solo mission until he was 19, but Yoda let Ahsoka accompany Padme to Alderaan alone at age ~14, and Anakin let Padme borrow her long enough to go to the Separatist capital at about ~15.

So maybe the Jedi were more protective of Anakin than many of us tend to assume.

Although Rex is very awkward and introverted, there is a vibrant side of him that few see. He tends to hide it from people he knows because he doesn’t like to express venerable parts of himself to people close enough to hurt him even if unintentionally, he doesn’t know how to let himself change with people or tell them he’s changed or let the personal parts of himself bleed into the façade he puts up in professional settings and he’s a little embarrassed of it. But anyway, his brothers think Rex is serious and boring and shy, but that’s because Rex never takes them with him on his escapades. Rex likes hole in the wall bars filled with unruly characters and weed smoke. He likes putting on a little nail polish, eye liner, body shimmer and temporary hair dye when he goes out. He breaks out the secret civi clothes he and Padme picked out and it’s a killer outfit. He has a pair of ripped skinny jeans, a loose fitting crop top and a light leather jacket to match. He has a ton of piercings he hardly wears for safety reasons he puts in just for these occasions. He dances with strangers and smokes like he doesn’t need lungs. He gets into drinking competitions with people at the bar and wins every time. Not to mention he’s always getting with people at the end of the night (mans I’d polyamorous and PULLS). And in those in between hours of the early morning he washes all his makeup off in a bathroom, changes and takes everything of his secret self off and ticks it back away in its secret place, gets a Power Nap in and wakes up bright eyes and bushy tailed giving out orders 2 hours later.

"luke/leia is more like their father/mother" "what are you talking about you're ignoring this obvious trait of padme/anakin" guys it's not one or the other. padme and anakin BOTH had stubborn streaks with strong ideals, and BOTH had a softness to them. anakin and padme were so alike in so many ways, and that's so much of what certainly drew them together. had padme just been the waify interpretation, anakin surely wouldn't have fallen so deeply. were anakin simply a chaotic rebel, padme wouldn't have wanted to spend her life with him! in terms of passing down personality traits, what makes luke luke and leia leia can be found in both parents in fairly equal measure. some traits are just more predominant than others on a surface level.
