Oh hey, I have an AU, I forgot about that (lie)

I've had a similar idea in my head for a month now. It wasn't possible to do it last month, but no problem. May would make more sense. I did something with this little guy for 414 last year, and I wanted to do something with him again. April 14th of this year would not be possible, but May 14th or 15th? Oh yes. These dates are better because it was between these two (actually it was the 14th I think, but I consider both dates) days that I created this guy above! Consider this drawing a celebration made for…well, me. Of course, he wasn't created with the design above in mind. His original, main design is quite different from this alternative (and less original) iteration. The drawing above shows his current situation in the "current" moments of the RTTS AU.

His creation, which dates back to 2020, was the result of some Bendy-related thoughts of mine intersecting on the day. These being about new things in canon lore that came out at the time (plus speculation about this new information), a theory that at the time I started to understand better (which maybe based on the drawing, you probably know which theory I'm talking about ) and a funny bug found in one of the games (do you remember Ghost Bendy by any chance?) And then,boom. I created Atlas. I remember at the time I was thinking of other names for him because Atlas was just a codename that I had in mind to refer to him while I thought of a definitive name for the guy. But the codename ended up sticking. Plus, Atlas is a cool name and I wanted to give an OC that name.

Even though some details changed over time, I think I eventually managed to solidify his place in the AU. Not that his story is 100% thought out and completed. Hell, my AUs that I have are still not 100% thought out either, so what to expect from their characters. But I think that, currently, I have at least decided on the general idea of his place and purpose in RTTS, and I am happy with what I have come up with.

I don't know when the next time will be that I will show him again. In general, showing things from my AUs is not and probably will never be my strong point lol. But I'd like to draw him again eventually. So uhhhhhhhhhhh, one day. When that "one day" will be, it's up to you to decide

ZIMPAI SHIZPOST STORY PART 4: ZOOM PINNING FOR DOBBLE

(I WROTE TOO MUCH DIALOGUE IN THIS ONE 😭)

“…With the help of his vile mechanical servants, he plotted to destroy everything we have. Everything we are…”

The big-headed boy monologued as usual.

“Didn’t you already say all these things before?” Gaz raised an eyebrow, actually curious about what happened to her brother for once.

Dib ignored her and continued.

“And then…”

A dramatic pause.

That was when Dib-chan fell to the floor, hitting the ground with his noodle arms and ugly sobbing with his usual sparkling anime tears.

“MY ZIMPAI VANISHHHEEEDD!! NOoOOooOoOoOOo!!”

“Dude, it’s been only like- a day or something,” Gaz sighed.

“WAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!”

The purple/pinkish/magenta/(WHATEVER U THINK HER HAIR COLOR IS) haired girl backed away with a concerned and disgusted look on her face and then finally decided to ignore her weird brother’s yapping like how she always did.

Of course, Dib didn’t notice his sister leaving and continued bawling his eyes out on the floor, trying to figure out what he did wrong to drive his Zimpai away.

“Is it the letter I gave him?! Wait no- I didn’t even give it to him at all! I just smacked it at his bald green head and took it back! I guess it was just some plot device to help me make the scene more dramatic and romantic,” Dib thought to himself out loud.

Meanwhile, the said Zimpai was in his base, trying to figure out something too. That something was the love loathe he felt for that crazy dorky glasses wearing boy of his dreams nightmares…

“COMPUTER! RESEARCH THIS INFERIOR FEELING SQUIRMING AROUND IN MY GLORIOUS IRKEN SELF!!” Zim yelled while trying not to think too much about the boy.

The computer groaned and obliged. The results were all about crushes and how to get them to like you back. Zim was shocked. The miGhTY and PoWeRFuL invader?! HAVING A CRUSH!?

…Maaaybe Zim actually always knew about this whole ‘love’ thing. Maybe he was just always in denial. Maybe he actually loves-

“UGH NO! IT’S NOT LIKE I LIKE THAT FOOL DIB OR ANYTHING!”

“Uhhh I didn’t say anything, master…” Computer groaned again, rolling his nonexistent eyes.

“SILENCEEEE! I NEED TO THIIIINK!!”

“Ughhh just go to that human already or something,”

Zim perked up and grinned. “That’s IT! I MUST CONFRONT THAT WORM BABY ABOUT THE CURSE HE GAVE ME! I’M A GENIUS!!”

This time, the computer didn’t even bother to respond as there was no use. Besides, the Irken was already on his way outside, grabbing the same plot device letter thing Dib-chan used, gracefully maRcHING his way to Dib’s house…

Meet Trapeze! A big elaborate joke character for a small spin-off story for my story: Breakout Civilisation!

Having been experimented on- once the security breach occured Trapeze took any chance to escape the laboratory.... Amongst the chaos and desperation to escape, they would find Grayson and letting out all their Rage- would maul him to death as revenge for the horrible things he's done. (horray!!)

Trapeze would manage to escape the labs and would run to a carnival to stay in hiding. Fortunately for her, a circus crew would find her and take her under their wing!

Now Trapeze learns to channel her Rage and uses her ability to transform into a Cassowary as a means to entertain audiences! Not only bringing entertainment but managing to find some comfort in herself... Maybe being half-human/half-animal had its perks that she could take advantage of.

Sometimes a person follows me on Letterboxd (a movie tracking and reviewing site/app) and I'm absolutely baffled by why they would do so.

Here's a list of some of the things that made me go O.o

Movies they didn't like that I really really love (4.5+/5 stars): Knives Out, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-verse, Deadpool, Birds of Prey, Midsommer, THE Suicide Squad, Friday the 13th,

Movies that they're meh about that I love tremendously (4.5+/5 stars): Pearl, Scream, Batman Returns.

It doesn't even look like they watch shitty horror.

I rate movies by how much I enjoy them which means a lot of shitty horror movies get 3 stars. In fact, of the last 10 movies I logged and rated, only one 1 movie got below 3 stars. 5 of them are shitty horror movies. And two of them are just outright weird (The Lighthouse and The Timekeepers of Eternity).

Like, I just don't get it. Why are you here, following me? What of my last 10 ratings made you decide to follow me when we have such different tastes in movies? I desperately want to know the answer to these questions.

I had someone ask me when the next chapter of The Flower Of the Commonwealth is coming out on Tumblr- and uh….. Yeah I’ve just moved it all to AO3 where there are four more chapters added from last time I posted and I redid all the old ones. (Spanish lessons incoming)

Using this as an audio reference for the posts I'm making, but to summarize:

Yuri starts out mad.

Yuri tries to calm himself down with a deep breath to ask for details instead of going through it angry.

Flynn doesn't say "like a good knight" in the sense of putting himself down. He simply says "as a knight" (the tl here doesn't use that, but with that included it's basically along the lines of "even though I had doubts, as a knight, I was determined to follow my orders").

Once Yuri has answers he calms down significantly.

Yuri uses " 'ttaku", which is a shortened down version of "mattaku" (Yuri often shortens words and speaks very casually), which in this particular situation basically would mean "geez", or "good grief". In this manner, it's expressive of exasperation/frustration/etc.

Yuri never mentions that "Flynn told him what to do" like the dub does (because in fact Flynn did not ever tell Yuri what to do. He only gave Sodia and his other knights orders. He expressed his own desire to take responsibility, but never told Yuri and his friends what to do).

At this point you can tell the anger has gone out of him and that he's calmed down, now that Flynn is approaching this with admission and responsibility.

Sodia is asking that Flynn returns as soon as possible (I believe this was a general translation error).

Flynn's thank you to Yuri is tonally much more heartfelt.

Yuri's response and gratefulness at Flynn coming back to himself is tonally much more heartfelt, relieved and sincere.
