@ everyone who has weighed in on the extremely important question as to whether cardassians have eyelashes: I appreciate your input, have considered and cogitated, and am making the authorial (artistic?) decision to keep drawing them with some form of eyelashes because at this point in my artistic development its an important surrogate for indicating the 3d orientation of the eyeball

#I would get orange juice. black coffee. AND iced coffee ($3) because I love the variety of having multiple drinks #then sausage and scrambled eggs ($8). Then sauteed mushrooms ($3)....AND... hrm.. then spending the remaining $4 would be hard #I wish I could get waffles (as they are my favorite and are superior in every way compared to pancakes. donuts. etc.) but I'm not willing #to give up the other savory things just to get them. so... then maybe I could get a biscuit or english muffin? and just put jam or #honey butter or something on it so it can be my replacement 'sweet and bready' thing instead of something from the $5 row??#OR I could also just assume that having the orange juice plus iced coffee would provide enough of a 'sweet element' to the meal #(since I largely prefer savory foods. I only like a tiny bit of sweet added for variety) and thus forego any sort of #'bready' thing entirely and just get the bowl of beans/onion/tomato (I'd leave the avocado since I don't like the #texture of them really lol). THEN I'd have $1 left to get the milk or the black tea... increasing my total of random drinks..#which is always the goal of course.. as a chronic ''person who is sipping at 5 different drinks at their desk simultaneously always'' perso #OR... I could just do.. waffle. scrambled eggs. sausage. mushrooms. and black coffee and orange juice.. which is... okay variety #augh... so difficult.. As my Ideal Breakfast is like a buffet type thing or something where you have like 25 different things to choose fro #and can get a little tiny bit of everything. My eating style is very much like.. I'd rather pick at a small amount of a ton of #different things than just have a very large amount of only one or two things. Thats why I LOVE sample platter type stuff.#So it's like... augh... the ideal option would be a tiny portion of EVERYTHING actually lol...#Difficult to choose...#ANYWAY.. Also no idea why I added croissant instead of bagel. I only thought about that afterwards. I do actually like bagels.#I've only ever even had a croissant like 2 times in my entire life. Yet I've had many bagels. For some reason it stuck out in my mind more #when I was considering 'essential breakfast foods' somehow... how could I forget them... bagels my beloved...#Blame it on the hot weather... 'What in the blazes? The sun hath obliterated the concept of bagels from my miind!'#(< meant to be said in a silly overdramatic elderly wizard accent or something)#Also I don't think ''bowl of beans. onion. avocado. and tomatos.'' is necessarily a breakfast classic or something gbhjjh #but I was just trying to think of a versatile vegetable-ish side that could be full of common breakfast additions #so people could do stuff like ''oh I get the toast option and then the bowl of stuff and I put the avocado on the toast'' etc.#Like a mix and match. You could mix ingredients from different parts. You could put scrambled eggs and bacon and onion #on the bread or soemthing. etc. I just feel like something is always missing if a Full Breakfast Spread #doesnt have some sort of onions or beans or mushrooms or asparagus or spinach like... some sort of thing that isn't just eggs and meat and #bread.. you know? lol..#But then again.. I am the Sampling Plate Style Variety Lover and Tiny Portion Of Food Picker so maybe thats just a me thing.

Just so you know I’m aggressively waiting for my baby IMG motley boa (Burnt Toast) to finally shed so I can show the ‘increasing melanin gene’ in action because it’s such a cool concept that fits with this blog, and not simply because I need a valid excuse to post him and force you to see him with your eyes because I love him and you should too. I just had hot pot for the first time and I think I ate so much my body might be shutting down

SWEET pie dough mind you. for a sweet pie #so there's. that's the first thing deeply wrong with this quiche #uh also not a whole lot of dough at that so it's extremely thin and shallow #so yeah note that #recipe asked for shallots... i got green onions. good enough #my butter is unsalted so um low sodium quiche #while simultaneously high sugar quiche lol #and then it. i dunno it asked for spinach so i was like okay sure. BRO #the . like #egg mixture doesn't even. cover all the spinach. it asked for 10 oz of spinach. that's a LOT of spinach i #i didn't even use all of it but it's still a lot #but to be fair i did less eggs just cuz i was like the dough is so shallow surely i #um god anyways #also don't have heavy cream but i figured half and half is like. diluted heavy cream anyways so #well she's in the oven i guess i'll. let tumblr know how this bad boy turns out #it's 2 am and i have sooooo much hw teehee love myself yippee #crying shitting

So weird that ppl either think sparkling water/seltzer is either weird or a fad bc my grandma has been giving us seltzer since i was like 5 bc she wanted us to not drink soda. And it worked i have been drinking the shit forever. In fact i used to drink tonic water straight lol. I mean when we started drinking it there were 2 flavors as opposed to the dozens now so it probably is more if a fad thing but it definitely didn’t come outta nowhere.

#i don’t like sugary drinks much and i think this is why!!!#i have to water down juices and sodas just too sweet #but i eat candy…?#idk im still trying to figure that one out #my diet now is basically noodles; onions; cucumbers and salads with occasional beef #so the weight loss journey is not the best #but i havent GAINED anything just not lost much :(

The little primrose that I have seems to bloom sporadically all year around as long as I bring it inside and don't let it freeze #in the winter. I suspect the apple is controversial but.. I do love apples .... huzzah #actually am having applle and peanut butter snack right now as I'm writing this lol #6. Various bowls/cups/etc. that I got from a store at COMPLETELY different times like.. years apart from each other #yet at some point realized that they all mostly match in paint color and seem to be part of the same pattern #But I totally didnt make that connection until a few years ago when I was putting up dishes. I just bought them all invidually because it's #like 'oh cool! a cat' *1 year later* 'oh cool! a cat!' etc. lol.. I guess it must be a popular design if it's been around being sold that #long.#7. carne asada burrito and matcha bubble tea... oughhgh.... again one of my very rare meals where I actually go and get something..#probably my favorite meal currently. Something about the Chronic Anemia makes me crave beef burritos madly despite only having one #maybe twice a year or so ghjbhj.. plus the beans.... onions.... many of my Diet Forbidden foods... Also of course the little aishas #are there.... somehow they shall split the meal together even though it's like 10x bigger than their bodies.. they are also hungry #and vastly anemic... huzzah to them...#8. I've had this shirt for a long time but it fits very weird so I can never find a way to use it in outfits?? But I recently had #an appointment where a doctor needed to be able to look at my back and it's one of the only actual Shirts that I have (mostly i just own #long robes or tunics or jumper dress type of things that would be hard to lift up or etc. like... I dont even own a single normal 't-shirt'#or anyting aside from one giant tshirt that I sleep in in the summer lol.) So I wore this there.. love being in charge of thanksgiving dinner i taste tested the turkey and went god damn this is the worst bird ive made to date by far but no skin off my back. then dinner rolls around and people are begging me to open a restaurant

#abrahim: im sorry but the cranberry sauce was a little too spicy this year #me (agrees): thats ok barby #abrahim 20 minutes later: actually after having a little more i changed my mind it’s really good #i should use this power for evil or something #woof #guest: the bird is SO moist #me: it’s like drywall actually but thanks?#what fucking thanksgiving dinners have you people been having. jesus christ #anyway here’s a rundown of the dinner.#potato leek soup: what it says on the tin. blended to a puree. the secret ingredient is curry powder and i #dress it with a basil infused EVOO drizzle and top with crispy bacon.#turkey: i brine in an orange-apple cider vinegar-white onion-cinnamon-star anise brine for at least overnight #then cover in a compound butter of rosemary sage oregano and garlic #aromatics in the cavity #the cranberry sauce is made with orange juice star anise and cinnamon.#i also repurposed some of #the cranberry sauce this year to infuse into my candied pomelo rinds #the mashed potatoes are mashed potatoes. idk I hate cooking potatoes I didn’t do anything special there #just a fuckton of butter. it’s meant to be a canvas for the rest of the food anyway.#zayn was in charge of veg because he is a veg god. he did brussel sprouts and roasted sweet potato #and both were a highlight for lots of people. he keeps things simple too but he just knows what herbs and spices to use #he’s so so good at keeping things healthy which imo is a greater accomplishment than what i do #all of my siblings are amazing cooks #oh and for dessert I ordered a lemon lavender cake for Zayn’s birthday and picked up pumpkin and pecan pies. barby brought eggnog
