For me it would make sense? Shinichiro is a really important and impactful character but he isn't that much present in canon (= he's 'rare'). Also, learning about his true role as a former time leaper – rather than just big brother-mentor – was def unexpected (=can't see it coming)! And ofc, when you have him on your side you win against everything else. He could have been a king or an ace too, but I can understand why he wasn't made as one (aside from 'other characters were already given those' xd)

How do the 3 Windclan dark forest trainees feel about Harestar after the Kin and everything?

AFTER the Kin? Harespring was part of the whole plan to save their tails. I'm going to have Heathertail bring back tunneling-- it'll not be what it once was, but when they were apprentices, the three WindClan apprentices liked to hide out together.

Harespring is the last one of the group of three back in WindClan, currently deputy, heavily opposed to Onestar's isolationism. He watches his best friends join the Kin-- first Breezepelt, then Heathertail when the truth about Darktail's parentage comes out.

I'm still working out the logistics, but the day Breezepelt turns and defects against Darktail's planned execution of Heathertail and several others, Harespring was waiting with a tunnel of some kind. Brushblaze was one of the cats who helped them figure out some digging experiments as a kid, too.

Maybe it would be a REALLY good sendoff for Brush to collapse the tunnel behind the escapees, sacrificing his life so they can't be followed.

Even just reordering the songs in bway hadestown so that Eurydice is on stage during Why We Build The Wall and Our Lady of the Underground would improve things so much….you have the “step into my office” bit, you have Persephone react to that, then you have the song where Eurydice meets the other workers and sees what’s actually going on, then Why We Build the Wall is her having apparently given up and lost her identity like the others…..THEN at the end of Why We Build the Wall, Hades leaves the stage and the other workers turn to Eurydice and take her by the hands and smile, and they bring her to Persephone’s bar and they’re all in the chorus for Our Lady and Eurydice realizes that the people here ARE still people and they do have somewhere to talk where Hades isn’t listening (and all the lyrics to Our Lady actually make sense again lmao, ESPECIALLY “there’s a crack in the wall”)

Also I just really want to see Persephone and Eurydice interact on stage in this context….like Eurydice is a little wary bc she’s pretty sure Persephone is jealous of her, but Persephone knows what’s up and sees the new girl that Hades tricked and discarded and picks her out of the crowd during the musical interlude, and twirls her around while the rest of the cast cheers, and gives her a drink and sends her back to her seat…Eurydice stares at her like she’s entranced…idk. Just a little something that sets up how close they are in “I Raise My Cup to Him” as well as Persephone’s sympathy for Orpheus and Eurydice specifically

sometimes i like to imagine a future where i write that (y/a or adult targeted) dragon book series i desperately want to, but i know that i wouldn't be able to do it without including art in the book. every time a new important character is introduced the next page would have to be a reference / art of them to Show What They Look Like

will it also just be the exact same story of xy or?

It's just a regular story, though Liro's team and some battles will be based on my actual playthrough of the game! (I did consider a nuzlocke, but they're too limiting in what story you can tell with them)

And it wont be the exact same! I want to change some things around that'd make the plot make more sense to me and add a bit more to it! (and just in general focus on developing the characters more)

It'll start branching off more at the end of this first chaptery thing (I'm very excited for it)
