Tubbo's arms are probably the safest place within these borders.

Valentine’s Day Sneak Peak of a WIP

[Scene: The end of a lovely anniversary date.]

And Ranboo got down on one knee.

And pulled out from his back pocket a small box of unmistakable nature.

     He held it up, and opened it, and got a very wonderful thrill of delight seeing the look on Tubbo’s face, the man who was usually so averse to admitting his own emotions growing beet-red and flabbergasted.

    “Tubbo,” Ranboo asked-- god they were already married, technically, why was he so flustered and nervous? Maybe because he was still just as in love as the first time. “--Will you marry me?”

    “I--, I--, I--”, Tubbo stuttered and repeated, flustered and baffled and confused and more accurately, the perfect representation of a human loading screen. Ultimately the reaction he decided on was the one of least flusterment. “Please tell me you haven’t forgotten. We’re already married, Ranboo, we-- we eloped, this is our anniversary.”

    Ranboo laughed, full-on and filled with fondness. “I know, Tubbo, don’t worry. I could never forget you. But we didn’t have a wedding, we just eloped, so…” A playful grin spread across his face. “I’m asking again. Tubbo, will you marry me?”

    “Yes! Yes, of course, oh my god,” Tubbo replied immediately. “You freaking-- hopeless romantic--” Tubbo was looking to the side and cursing under his breath and covering his face in a desperate attempt to hide just how much he was enjoying himself. Ranboo was absolutely winning this. “I still have to put the ring on, Tubbo,” Ranboo said smugly, still knelt down, and Tubbo cursed under his breath some more but obliged, putting his arm and hand out as soon as Ranboo asked (and incidentally, using his other arm to cover his face as he turned it away. Ranboo didn’t think Tubbo had that much blood to travel to his face like that, and yet somehow.)

    Ranboo slipped the newer, much fancier ring onto Tubbo’s finger, and stood up, intentionally towering over and crowding against Tubbo despite the flush in his own face to see just how flustered his husband could get. “That’s simply not fair,” Tubbo muttered as Ranboo looked down at him. “You know exactly what you’re doing.” Ranboo conceded with a nod and a hum. “Mhm.”

    “I can’t believe I married you. I can’t believe I’m marrying you again!” Tubbo huffed, outraged that Ranboo would dare to be romantic in his direction and, worse yet, that it was working.

Methinks that C!Beeduo would be... pretty inefficient at baking. They would both know what they were doing, as they both learned a little bit about baking, (most likely from Niki), but they're not the best at baking by themselves. Ranboo has to keep fending off Tubbo from trying to taste the dough and batter and all the ingredients. (Tubbo always manages to snatch some for himself though.) They've probably burned things several times in the oven because they got distracted and forgot it was in there. But they really don't mind these setbacks, they just enjoy each other's company and just like having fun together. Whenever they actually finish a recipe, they always share it with Michael. And if it's something that would take more people to finish, they'll invite Tommy, Aimsey, and Eryn around to share it. It may not taste amazing, but you can definitely taste the love that went into it, and the love of those who baked it.

C! SFW BEEDUO SLASH FIC MASTERPOST

Have you ever wished to read some /r beeduo, but fear what the Ranboo/Tubbo tag on ao3 holds? Have you ever wished you could somehow magically filter the tag, so you'd see only the character works, with no explicit content in sight? Well, lucky reader, I might just have what you were searching for all along.

I went through the entire goddamn tag, and I manually filtered out all the sfw c! fics so you don't have to. And then I compiled everything into a spreadsheet. That's right, I am just that incredibly cool and sexy and amazing.

Things I tagged each fic with: word count, completion, angst/fluff, au/dsmp canon, "Do they kiss?"*, pet names** and additional notes if I felt anything else was worth mentioning (and there are also stars for fics that we especially liked)

*Only if Ranboo and Tubbo kissed explicitly on the lips, didn't count forehead/cheek/hand kisses or anything else of the sort

**Didn't count Boo, 'Bo and Beloved, since those are extremely common in the canon.

This took me and my discord pals many many hours, so I would be extremely grateful if you shared this as much as you could!! ♥

For what is and isn't on the list, as well as a disclaimer, keep reading.

What may be included on the list:

works by authors that also occasionally write RPF (I try to let you know of this in additional notes so you can avoid them if you wish! Check disclaimer for more info about this particular topic tho.)

violence, gore, there's also some cannibalism I think. I didn't tag any CW, but there are reminders to check the warning whenever I felt the fic warranted that.

What isn't on the list:

fics centered around sexual content and or involving explicit sexual content (past or present) (there is one about pregnancy, I noted so in the additional tags) (I also cut instances where the characters were making out...heavily.)

fics about CCs or works that were too ambiguous to be able to make a clear distinction between c! or cc!

works from authors that otherwise extremely frequently write RPF nsfw

unfinished works that were +- below 3K and seemed abandoned or just not properly built out yet (though I did this step very subjectively)

as I went on, I also started cutting out fics that didn't seem to have beeduo as their main focus, or if there were so many relationship tags I felt like you could find them from there as well (<- read as: I got frustrated and left out a lot of SBI centric fics)

shipping fics that included relationships not canon to the DSMP (for example, I cut out TNTduo but kept Puffychu. There's also some light background DNF in some of them I'm pretty sure, though I literally do not think there exists a fic involving both Dream and George without it being DNF, so hey, that's my reasoning. But if you want me to cut those ones out as well, let me know).

Disclaimer: I hadn't actually read all of the fics. Unfortunately, I am not the deity of free time. I've tried to skim almost every single one to find out whether or not it truly is sfw and about c! (but only if it wasn't made abundantly clear by the tags or author's notes, or if I got general weird vibes), and tried to add any warnings and additional notes I could come up with when there were some.

I also hadn't checked each author and whether or not they had written RPF in the past - again, I simply don't have the means for that (and also because most of them are anon or orphaned anyway), though I DID check some, and anything iffy I found about the author I included into additional notes.

I tried to sort everything to the best of my abilities, but I am only human - which is to say, if you DO find some fic that you thing doesn't belong there PLEASE dm me and I'll look into it! We are a community, helping each other is the key 🧡

If you are the author of any of the fics on the list and for some reason want them taken out, dm me and I'll delete them!

hi. I just woke up, and I just wanna say that coz of all the cute toddler c!Tommy posting from yesterday, I was blessed with an absolutely splendid dream that centered around a teeny tiny baby chommy being carried around by Beeduo while they went to look for cows. Vividly, I can recall the fact that little toddler chom was only able to say a few select words/phrases. Some of them included "moo", "Cow", "Soft" and of course "Henry." But see, he said it like "Henwy" cuz he was baby, so that just made it 10X great.

he called Dream a bitch and Tubbo killed him(Dream)

anyway the dream ended with like 50 Henrys being gathered around Tommy to sniff at him while Ranboo held him up. It was really great. Best dream I have had since technoblade stuff happened. in lieu of not having a full catalyst update today, i've decided to toss a little drabble at you guys :D i wrote this shortly after finishing ch 11 as a way of hashtag coping (11 isn't that bad guys i promise) but Yeah here u are ^_^

"Can I sleep here tonight?" Tubbo asks. He's wearing the pyjamas you gave him. He looks beautiful– tired and beautiful.

You nod– of course you do, you wouldn't give up time with him for anything else, you don't think. He means a lot to you now, and you know you don't mean much to him, but you're selfish and you'll take whatever you're offered, even if it breaks your unbeating heart.

He climbs into your bed. You help him under the covers and let him curl up next to you, head resting on your pillow, forehead pressed against your shoulder. He's so warm next to you– and you are so, so cold, and you wonder why he's choosing to be around you, of all people.

You don't let these moments pass you by; you don't take them for granted. You turn onto your side to face him and let him snuggle closer. You let him tuck his head into your chest, just below your chin, and you let yourself hold him a little. It's awkward, just like always, but he lets out a pleased hum when your hand settles, pressed lightly against the small of his back.

It's still early for you. You still have a night ahead of you, but you'd spend your whole night here if he'd let you.

Would he let you?

No, you can't get your hopes up like that. That'll be the end of you and him– but most importantly the end of you.

You would do anything for him, even if it means letting him go.

So for now, even if these moment are fleeting, you'll hold him. You'll hold him until his breaths even out and he falls asleep. You'll hold him until he's sick of your arms around his body.

"Ranboo," he whispers. You've always loved the way he says your name– the sound of it, the sight of his mouth curving around it. You think you could listen to it all day.

"Yeah?" you reply, also whispering. You worry. You don't know what he'll say, but you hope it's not the beginning to the inevitable end.

"Could you spoon me?" he asks. You're not quite sure what that means, but you don't think it's a bad thing.

"Uh..." you start, and Tubbo understands what you mean before you get the chance to ask for clarification.

"Just–" he inhales deeply through his nose, turning around on the exhale, "put your arm around me." His back is now to your front. You're not quite touching, but you want to be– but you don't, because that would be weird, probably.

You follow Tubbo's instructions anyway, tossing your arm over his side, letting your hand settle on the sheets just in front of his torso. He corrects you, pulling your hand in closer and pressing your palm flat against his chest. You can feel his heart thumping against his ribcage just beneath his skin.

"Move a bit closer, please," he adds, and his voice is so, so soft. And you do– you do in a heartbeat, shifting closer until your chest is pressed against his shoulders– until you're curling around him.

He doesn't thank you with words– he's too tired for that, you think.

He turns his head instead, just enough for you to feel his breath on your lips; your noses are nearly touching. You nearly kiss him. You don't, but you want to– you really want to, but he would hate it and you know that, so you don't.

He brushes his nose against yours in the silent 'thank you.' He pushes against you, makes your head tilt a bit, and you let him. He huffs out a small laugh and turns back around. You press your face into the back of his head, light enough to not push, but heavy enough for him to feel. He giggles.

You think you could fall in love with him one day.

You've always been the romantic type, but you've also been cursed by your own aversion to love. You've never liked it– all the bits with feelings. You've liked the idea of being held– you do like it– and right now it feels okay, but tomorrow it may not. Tomorrow you may loathe Tubbo's presence.

So today– right now– you hold him like you could fall in love with him.

-c!ranboo (who isn't half-enderman, half-??? in this au) looks like a person with half-black half-white hair, has heterochromia (red and green), has freckles, and wears a face mask (similar to cc!ranboo). they have the wings/feathers of a black-and-white warbler)

Ranboo reached out, took Tubbo's hand, and placed something in it.

Tubbo slowly opened his fingers.

There was a cookie.

"Niki wanted me to give it to you. She said she hoped you enjoy it!"

Tubbo gave a small smile.

"Thank you."

this is so LATE and I am SORRY but I had to sleep after I got sad over kitties

BUT ANYWAY! yes. they are very sweet and very special and very powerful and I need to rewatch some of those lore streams to refresh myself, but I do care them and I do see The Vision, as it were.

Now I should note that the platonic bit is just the aro in me. Unless a relationship in lore is stated to be /r I tend to just lean for the platonic/qpr side of things. Like with c!beeduo. because ye.

But in the case of slime and Q, I've personally always seen them less as lovers, and moreso as close friends and business associates that maybe da(p)bbled once or twice but never did anything too deep. In my mind c!Q is forever devoted to his fiances(even if he's angry and sad and dumb and an idiot about them), so I rarely ship him with anyone else in terms of FIRM DSMP CANON, just coz karlnapity is important to me and I want happiness for the poor little duck duck.

I think they could do well in some AU divergent fics.

I'd love to read some fluff with them being silly around the office.

The angst of Quackity holding a lover as he melts in his arms is certainly something. Something that hurts me so I don't think of it too much because ooo ahh owie.

They're really great, bascially. Don't see them as too much in canon, but in terms of chemistry and whatnot I think there's room for possibilities
