that one is so heavy that my regular degular thin old strap felt really not sturdy enough so....

based on the colours of teletekst, a Dutch thing where you can read the news as just text only on your tv!

So I did a thing ... I've been slowly build up my leather working skills because I got the bug... Slowly working on more and more complicated things and/or trying different techniques to hone some skills ... First big goal is to build a backpack similar to one that an amazing friend has - which has been inspiring me for about 6-7 months now. :-) Along the way, I was finally able to get my new camera (after 222 days on a waiting list) ... and so I decided to try my hand at making my very own leather strap for it ...

I'm quite please with the results ... It definitely has that "home made" vibe to it as you can see with reasonable inspection of my finishing ... but that doesn't matter to me ...

As for materials, Horween Chromexcel Leather in Black, Maine Thread, Seiwa Tokonole for the edge finishing and 7+ hours or work, including 5+ hours of hand stitching...

And the solid brass split rings are a nod back to the early days of Leica and their use of brass is making their camera bodies...

Overall I am quite happy....

It’s a crime that Feldspar doesn’t have a video camera that they use to record their adventures. I need to see footage of them trying to eat the DB jellyfish and nearly passing away. Grabbing the camera with both hands, tears in eyes, begging the viewer to never try eating a jellyfish.

He actually is more than a hint hysterical when he first realizes his legs are gone. And doesn't realize how 'small' he is at first or that he doesn't have his powers thanks to the fact he was already exhausted and such from his Wail and previous battle. Needless to say he does kind of panic when he realized that the few powers he has are limited AF.

He's actually kind of neutral towards Sebastian at first, but does end up warming up towards him. Er, it takes a tiny bit at first because he holds a grudge for carrying him everywhere, he's sure this place can't be more dangerous than other places he's been!

He's actually struggling with not having legs, seeing as the only time he's had a ghost tail, or any tail really, up until this point is in flight. And it didn't have a fin, so he's incredibly clumsy. (There are many swimming lessons in his future to help him get used to legless movement, along with a bit of hand-holding to his embarrassment)

So all in all, he could be handling it worse at the moment. Could be handling it better, but he could be handling it worse too.
