Man Im so happy with this one !!! I kinda fought for my life cos this is a different rendering style to what I usually do ! The heatstroke persist and so do I, so I'm glad I worked early on that one ! Imma get started on tomorrows submission !

Campfire fest day 6: space station

When I was thinking about what I wanted to draw for this, I thought about what hatchling must have felt when they realized the Sun station wasn’t the source of the loop, and all I could think about was just the disappointment and the despair in knowing that they would have to start all over on their theory. When I reached the Sun station I was sure it was the end of the game, but it wasn’t.. so yeah, this it’s kinda meant to be a moment of disappointment and sorrow, but the warm vibes of the sun station made it a little hard to show.

Idaea’s skeleton also just makes me so sad. Sometimes I like to just stand next to him and spend my last moments by him so he doesn’t have to be alone this time

Tw (?) injury and just angst lmfao

So, last day of the campfire fest ( @outerwilds-events ) and I decided to go full on angst, notes and some extras below ::) vv

Talking with cobalt has definitely affected me huh

ANYWAYS what happened to slates lazy eye. What if slate got Injured in general. And feldspar was oh so worried. Because what if something happened to slate and they couldn't complete their dream of going to space ect. Along with me thinking that feldspar would naturally be someone that would worry a lot about the well being of others in such situations

Then I have some tragic irony in hopes to make something resembling fluff, I am sorry. God this game has a lot of eye related things huh

Lastly, The thrill chasers! What if feldspar got injured one time they were doing stupid stuff with slate. And slate felt bad because they felt like they caused this. Took felds to their house and tried to take care of them. Nobody could know about this, and nobody could know about slate worrying so much about someone else

On other news, I'm starting two big projects one of which isn't angst for once (wow) so yea, I swear not as much angst anymore </3

Sad the campfire fest is over though, had so much fun. Looking forward to this next year too!! Auuu <\3

i got a fic idea literally yesterday so i'll just write it later if i decide i want to actually do it, but i didn't have time to before today ended so i just decided to do art based on this idea anyways.

time loop hardly counts as spoilers but it's important to me that people don't get that spoiler

don't ask how hatchling would be able to make sap wine in the time loop, my explanation is that uhmm actually the loop will be a full day and uhh they didn't make it properly to save time. yeah, yeah that... makes sense. idk i just need porphy to have that extraterrestrial sapwine. i'll bend the rules to give them that

Well, Campfire Fest was an absolute blast. We had 18 participants and 65 submissions. This is a huge accomplishment that all of you made together! Thanks again to everyone who participated, it wouldn't have been such a great event without you. Major kudos to @noofl, @poisonhemloc, and @sawyer-is-eepy for submitting something for every day of the fest week during fest!

Outer Wilds Art for Campfire Fest

So, I haven't been able to do each individual prompt for Campfire Fest (by @outerwilds-events), but these artworks I have pretty much encapsulate all of them - and even though I did them a few years ago, I feel like these are some of my best works ever, so I wanted to show them to you! Behold, my Outer Wilds card deck!

Done on cardstock with colored pencil and alcohol marker, each of these cards represents a specific character and card suit in the Outer Wilds game. I never got around to finishing it because I switched to digital art, but maybe someday I'll make these digital and create the whole set! The suit and symbol each character is wasn't really chosen for any specific reason for most of them.

In rows (going from left to right) the characters are:

Gabbro (King of Diamonds), Porphy (2 of Diamonds), Esker (Ace of Hearts), Hal (3 of Diamonds), Gossan (10 of Clubs), Mica (Ace of Spades), Feldspar (King of Spades), Chert (2 of Clubs), Riebeck (King of Hearts), The Hatchling (Joker), Slate (Jack of Spades), and Solanum (Queen of Clubs)!

Day 2′s prompt is something I discussed for like a nano second with @cobaltbluesu but instead of making something coherent it all just melted as ooey-gooey fluffness in my brain. But yknow, maybe that’s the kind of feldslate content we need right now, so I vetoed angst just this once
