I just REALLY need to get something off my chest. This isn't about a specific person or event, just feelings that have accumulated from the bad stuff that has been going on amongst the good stuff during this campaign.

It's SO annoying to have to explain for the THOUSANDTH time that behind every account there is a person.

It's beyond frustrating to have to hold the collective internet's hands while you fuckin' teach them to take a breath, find empathy and THEN react to something.

Like sure, go off in private chats, you need to get something off your chest and that's fine. But SERIOUSLY. When you're making something public, even in tumblr tags and whatnot, remember that there are real people reading your stuff. Real people with thoughts, feelings, jobs to go to, meals to cook, houses to clean, homework to do, children to look after, relationships to maintain, mental and physicical health problems, and the list goes on and fuckin' on.

I know that this is a really complex thing to think about. It even has a word- sonder. But it is not hard to REFLECT for a moment and think "hmmmm, I wonder if there's some nuance to this". Or "maybe if I send death threats to this person who has made a mistake, they may find it 1000% harder to learn anything from that mistake"

No, again, that's not about something in particular. I've just seen it for myself alot and heard it from multiple other people that they have been insulted, degraded, stepped on, threatened, bullied etc. Mostly for being excited about a story that brought them joy, and upset that the story hasn't been allowed to continue.

Some fans HAVE made mistakes over the last two weeks, including me. Some fans will continue to make mistakes, including me. Get that into your head. People make mistakes. It's not an exceptional circumstance, it's a fucking rule.

And now I need to hold the collective internet's hands again, sit them down and explain that no, appreciating that it is a rule that people absolutley will continue to make mistakes is NOT the same as thinking that those same people can never learn from mistakes and never do the right thing.

Wayne standing there listening to Steve rant about how 'he doesn't care about kids or marriage or any of that shit' and how he's going to throttle Eddie for trying to break up with him because he thinks he's trailer trash and therefore has nothing to offer Steve in the long run.

Wayne excusing himself to get ready for bed, chuckling to himself as he realises that 'that Harrington boy' is gonna be around for a long time, and he's actually good with that.

i'm probably gonna need at least 600 for this so that's the goal i'm setting. not happy about it but i'm still disabled so working isn't exactly getting easier especially when my one option for "working from home" is being dragged right from under my feet

that said! while it's still semi-functional i can still do emergency c.omms of sorts! i was reworking my prices but guess we're here now. all will be fully shaded because i really can't be assed working out sketch & flat prices while my laptop is taking a billion years to let me type this out.
