at long last! it’s here! my piece for @gf10yearslaterzine!

i go more and more complicated with each zine i work on lol, but i’m really proud of how this all came out ;v; later on i’ll make a bonus post showing each full photograph and letter without any overlap, but for now enjoy a few closeup snapshots of some of my fave sections (featuring cameos from me and my pals playing dd&md in the background ;D)

i’m so honored to have been part of this zine, and can’t wait to see everyone’s pieces in print! ❤️

My Medieval 12th century inspired art book zine "If All The World Were Mine!" Is now available to order! Thanks everyone who signed up to my notification list, and bought it at the show! I had a great time sharing it with everyone hehe.

I have a tier for just the zine itself, as well as for a full-package deal with prints (Sacral Anointment and Blood of the Vassals!) and Melusine + Bestiary stickers.

The zine is 52 pages, in full color, and has a collection of my favorite pieces from the past couple years, including some of my nsfw arts. There are a couple of new illustrations I haven’t yet shared publicly, so can’t wait for everyone to see them!

Is there gonna be a lot of bottom/sub Dick for the nsfw add on? Cause I'm not the biggest fan of that dynamic. Like I don't mind ig but I like top/Dom Dick/bottom/sub Jason.

This isn't something we can answer at this time, since the contributors are still in the planning stage! We do have contributors with a mix of preferences, so nothing is guaranteed. We will publish a list of fic previews before pre-orders, so that potential buyers will know whether or not the add-on will align with their likes.

USD or another currency? It significantly impacts my spending power

With a total of 183 orders and nearly $8k raised, you all can truly take credit for making souyo zine a success! The mods and contributors have been blown away every day by your incredible support. Everyone who talked about, shared posts, promoted, or bought the zine: thank you so much💛💛

Now some housekeeping: The zine will move straight away into production; as mentioned on our store, the zines are being printed locally and are estimated to take ~2 weeks to produce with no down time for shipping to mod cat. The first batch of merch is currently already being manufactured to further cut down on shipping delays, and we will be ordering a second batch after totals are calculated to fully cover demand.

Digital zines will not be emailed until shipping out physical products is underway. Depending on production, we may have leftover sales, and the profit from these would also be donated to charity.

Once all production and shipping has been finalized we will release the budget chart for full transparency. At that time we can also announce the grand total of your charity donation after all production costs.

When we started EEP, we didn’t want to see more stories from the same mold everyone’s used to, but instead invite female-forward, LGBTQ+, and underserved youth audiences into a universe created just for you. 

EEP lead characters are pioneering young women from diverse backgrounds who save the day with their brilliance, talent, and knack for perseverance against all odds — heroes in every sense. And EEP stories are found in unexpected places like scripted podcasts and digital comics. EEP Universe is exciting, inspiring, representative, and unlike anything else in heroic fiction; a home for the stories we need but haven’t seen yet. 

LETHAL LIT: A TIG TORRES MYSTERY was the first scripted podcast for teens, starring a Latina teen detective whose determination, book smarts, and observational skill clears her family name, catches a killer, and puts her in a spotlight that’s further explored in Season 2 and a tie-in novel series from Scholastic. 

Our full-cast audio adventures with immersive sound design continued with the political thriller DAUGHTERS OF DC, the dreamlike horror story SEE YOU IN YOUR NIGHTMARES, and the time travel comedy NICKI FIX’S TIME MIX, all complete and streaming now on your favorite podcast platform. 

EEP started as a comics-making studio and our creators are pulled from the world of comics and graphic novels, so we were especially proud of our young adult graphic novel series THE CURIE SOCIETY published by MIT Press! It’s steeped in real-world science, secret societies, and action-packed missions around the world to stop bad guys, with an all-female team of young hero scientists. 

We also partner with WEBTOON and Tapas on the webcomics HOUSE OF SLAY, featuring real-world fashion icons who fight against bigotry and hate, and FREE HEXEL, a sci-fi series starring a dimension-hopping pop star with an original soundtrack and music video collection. There’s so much more to come from EEP Universe and we can’t wait to share our next stories with you.

Hello all! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday.

First, a big thanks to everyone who has followed us on this Dungeon Year Design Journal journey. As of this writing, the free digital version has been downloaded 2,700 times and people are starting to post pictures of their journals printed off in their three ring binder. It is so exciting to see what you’re all making - keep them coming!

We are excited to announce that we will launch a crowdfunding campaign on January 3rd, 2023 to get the journals printed!

And today we finalized the details to offer the journals worldwide.

The digital version will remain free, but we wanted to get physical journals in the hands of those who want them. They will be wire-o bound so they lay flat. Inside is 70lb uncoated paper for a solid feel that won’t let ink or colors bleed through to the other side.

We are keeping the campaign low risk, so no stretch goals, but we are offering two journal formats: The full-sized journal and a condensed weekly journal.

We will make an announcement here when the campaign launches, but we also recommend signing up on the campaign page to make sure you get all the updates we post there.

Recently, we stumbled upon a Dungeon23 Helper Project on itchio by Hexed Press, and we think it’s really cool, so definitely check it out.

What’s next after the Journal?

The Dungeon Year Design Journal is our first steps into crowdfunding, but it was also a surprise project for us. We have two other projects in the works as we speak:

In February, we are partnering with Milk Toast Studio to launch a crowdfunding campaign as part of Zine Month to make letterpressed GMless player aid cards. A high-quality pack of 12 cards that helps players drive the story in GMless games such as Wanderhome, Sleepaway, and even Banda’s Grove. We are finalizing the artwork for the cards now and can’t wait to start showing off more details.

Then, we are still working on getting final touches on Banda’s Grove complete, including building a legacy campaign book that can sit in the middle of your table. This supplement can house all the details of your adventures in the Grove all in one place that everyone contributes to - a living legacy of the adventures you have together. We are targeting a launch in April/May.

With Banda’s Grove, we are also doing our own Dungeon Year project! A Mega Grove: A massive convergence of campgrounds from across the universe. 52 planar fragments, each with 7 unique details: encounters, NPCs, buildings, creatures, and more. We will release the Mega Grove slowly over time for free. If you’d like to help us make the Mega Grove, or just watch its creation first hand, join our discord server where we’ll work with the community to bring it to life.

Introducing Comic Artist Iguana!

Full interview below:

Q: Please tell us about yourself!

A: I'm an iguana doing art.

Q: Who is your favorite Persona 4 character and why?

A: Yu Narukami (unbelievable). I like him because he's so pure and lovely and so silly that it makes me wanna scream and scratch him against a wall with love.

Q: Which Persona 4 characters do you find challenging to draw and why?

A: The funky student, honestly I have months of wanting to do something with him but I still haven't figured what I can do with him, I mean I really love him and I don't want to put my dirty hands over him. Or maybe I do…

Q: What are your favorite Persona 4 ships?

A: Yu x absolutely everyone (except Nanako for obvious reasons). When it comes to him I just think there’s never enough love/sex for him.

Q: Which Arcana do you see yourself as?

A: The Fool. Even if this wasn’t an Arcana given to any specific character, it represents a journey where "the fool" has a lack of knowledge and journeys through life with ignorance (which isn’t always a bad thing). It doesn't define their path since we are all in a constant search of whatever is lost in our lives, waiting for a resolution, so I do like to think about myself as being represented by the Fool Arcana.

Q: What's your favorite trope?

A: Male pregnancy (Omegaverse, MPreg, etc.), succubus/incubus and use of poisons and drugs to increase sexual activity, hehe… I have a lot of favorite tropes so I can’t choose only one lol

Q: Do you have a favorite Persona?

A: By appearance? Setanta. By utility? Melchizedek. I'm not saying that Setanta is not useful i just like him for how he looks djdkj

Q: What made you want to become an artist?

A: I’ve been drawing since I discovered I have hands (3 years old) and I've been doing it to vent and draw everything I can 

Q: How did you get into the Persona series?

A: My boyfriend started the game so he made the mistake of recommending it to me, since September of 2021 I've been obsessed and only breathing for Persona content and he's already tired of seeing Persona-related penises in my drawings (I won't stop anyways).

Q: What would you like to accomplish with your contribution to AOA zine?

A: I want to contribute everything I can to the fandom and for me, being part of this project makes me want to give the people more Persona 4 penises. My current mission is to add more visibility to some of the more forgotten characters, hehe.

Here’s my full piece, based on SD Perry’s novel, using the remake designs😭💕

The theme was ‘someplace safe’, and I struggled with it, wanting to do something more dramatic! I figured…Carlos said he’d get her someplace safe, and he does it several times by putting himself between her and the Nemesis, particularly in the novel, so I went to it for inspiration💖

“Carlos!”

Jill leaned over him, her gaze darting back and forth between him and part of the tower he couldn’t see, the grenade launcher still clutched in her hands. The Nemesis had stopped roaring; between that and the sudden, brutal silencing of the bells, Carlos could hear something thumping heavily on the ground, followed by the crumble of powdering rock in a slow, even rhythm. Crunch. Crunch

It’s coming, it jumped off the roof and it’s coming —

“Run,” Carlos said, and he saw that she understood, a second before she kicked off, that she had no other choice. Boots kicking the ground away, she left him alone as fast as she could.
