Wow the judges were super harsh on the synchro scores for women’s 10m diving. Some of these I’m like the synchro was basically perfect and then they only get like 7s like how much more synchronized can you expect them to get damn

Hello knitters and fibre witches!

The wonderful Canadian fibre witch ash alberg of Sunflower Knit is putting out a new book soon called Sanctuary. Sanctuary is a collection of 8 knitting patterns, 1 quilt pattern, 13 food and drink recipes, and 8 self care rituals. It's also very much centred on the concepts of queer love and friendship. What they've put out so far looks incredible and I'm excited for it to become published (locally in Winnipeg too!)

However, the crowd funding is going a bit slow. They have four days left, with only about 50% of their $18000 goal backed. Ash has stated that the bare minimum to fund the book and get it printed is $13000, but the additional 5000 is important because it covers some of the unpaid work they have done to make this book the beautiful rose coloured tome that it is destined to be.

I really believe that this project deserves to be completed, and some of the perks you can choose to go along with the book include all natural yarn packs hand dyed by ash, a material kit you can use to create the quilt pattern in Sanctuary, handmade body care kit, and more!

I'll reblog with the indiegogo link (curse you tumblr seo). Be aware that even if the campaign doesn't reach its goal, you will still end up with your copy of sanctuary if you order one, because ash WILL find a way, it just will be a longer process than planned. I hope this post gains them some extra traction!
