Photography is the kind of art (and it is art) where your subject creates the image with you... or rather the picture manifests itself while you record it.

With regards to post processing - yes. Personally, in the images I make, to forgo post processing is a missed opportunity. Documentation - I should say does not come first in the list of my priorities.

Hive Mind. The Overhaul arc will move entire differently from canonl. But I like the idea that with Eri's help again and through their classmates and All Might present, the whole group gets to see what Izuku at 100 % is like.

If sole miraculously found a functioning karaoke machine, what song, duet or otherwise, would the companions sing with them at the third rail?

I only chose from the songs available in the Fallout playlists (Fallout 1-4 + NV), just to narrow my choices. It is taking everything in me not to make a fic of Hancock and Sole getting absolutely obliterated and singing together.

Also, I had to set my Spotify listening to private so this didn’t bastardize my Spotify Wrapped next year. And canonlically some companions have a favorite genre, so I tried to incorporate that as well.

Cait: Good Rockin’ Tonight by Roy Brown. It’s a rock song about sex. Enough said.

Codsworth: Doin’ the Uptown Lowdown because it’s the raunchiest song he’ll allow himself to recite.

Curie: Blue Moon, specifically to Billie Holiday’s score. It reminds her that while her passion is for science, her love is for the purpose she found in being Sole’s arms.

Danse: It’s a Sin by Eddy Arnold. Danse loves country, and this one speaks to him as someone who holds brotherhood values whilst simultaneously being something his order hates.

Deacon: He chooses Civilization as an excuse to jump around the stage with Sole screaming “bongo, bongo, bongo”, but after a few more drinks he sings Ain’t That a Kick in the Head because of the liquid courage that tells him his voice would be perfect for it. And it is.

Hancock: Good Neighbor by his favorite singer, Magnolia, of course! Sole and him even convince her to perform with them.

MacCready: Right Behind You Baby by Ray Smith. It combines his love of classic rock with being Sole’s favorite sniper.

Preston: Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive. Preston is the vocals while Sole is his back-up singer.

Piper: Manhattan. Ella Fitzgerald suits her vocal range, and she’s secretly hoping that impresses Magnolia.

Nick: Happy Times by Bob Crosby. It makes half the bar tear up.

X6-88: Sole pinky-promises they won’t ask him to run errands for the Minutemen for a whole week if he performs. He sings thirty seconds of You’re Nobody Till Somebody Loves You until he gives up, but as soon as he sets the microphone down the crowd erupts in encouraging cheers, so he reluctantly continues.

sona art sona art!

little story bout this drawing : my sona canonlically sees inverted colors, and my favorite color is the blue used in the eyes, so i was thinking i should make their dyed hair the inverted color bc thats how they see. later, i was at sallys buying hair dye and i thought i'd look cool with red hair, so i got red hair dye, dyed my hair red, and after dying my hair and going back to finish the drawing i had started earlier in the day, thats when i realized. my sona had red hair now too. idk hopefully y'all enjoyed this rant btw i promise im gonna draw mcsm stuff soon but that hyperfixation disappeared once i got out of the stage of disliking my art even though i planned to make this acc mcsm... heres a cookie for listening to my ramble 🍪

October Updates

In updating the queue of Hoard-of-Dragonborn following the release of Baldur'Gate 3, you may notice in the future that there is a large amount of ship art involving The Pale Elf Astarion. This is not due to any agenda or favoritism of myself- I'm simply the messenger of what art the people of Tumblr make. And the people have spoken: they adore the dorky white vampire guy, Dragonborn enjoyers included.

(I can only imagine how much Asterion ship art has breached into Teifling and Drow blogs, if its noticable on my somewhat niche Dragonborn one)

I'll keep the queue shuffled to spread out the Astarion art though haha. I may also eventually add a Tag for the "canonl' dark urge, as they've gotten a decent amount of fanart for them.

Apologies again for not keeping up with the tagging of posts- life has been busy, and this blog is a low priority. I'm hoping I can set aside some time to update everything though in the near future.

And to round this announcement off, I'll be moving some spooky art to the front of the queue to celebrate the holloween season!

Thinking about comics lately as someone who doesn’t know much about them. But I was thinking and. Is? Caring about canon a recently new phenomenon? Because with comics there are TONS of aus and alternative storylines for the exact same characters written by different people. It’s not like the marvel films. Like yes, fanfiction obviously, but ???? When did the “canon” version of a world become the only correct way to consume content of it. Like I’ll see people getting upset and saying “BUT IT ISNT CANONl” when the WRITTER of a story says “yeah my producers wouldn’t let me do it but this was meant to happen.” Like???

I really don’t get when headcanon became like this policed thing like they have to all be super realistic and accurate to the characters but they?? Really don’t??? Let people interpret, view, and identify with a story however they want to. There’s no copyright on being creative let people live. (Side note: Obviously tumblr doesn’t care much about canon but I still kind of see this mentality so yeah)
