They're a 1994 Toyota Camry who's pretty scuffed, and she doesn't like to accelerate quickly, but she drives. She's also got a wasps nest in one of the side mirrors, but it's all good, they don't cause any problems :)

Everyone’s drawing their cars personified, so I just did a simple one of mine. Here’s Sandy (all pronouns)! An avid traveler and adventurer despite their old age. Thank you @marsoid for the prompt!! I’ve been working on a drawing favor for a friend, so getting to just quickly draw a character design is a dream.

Backstory on the car:

It’s a 2008 4Runner. My grandparents’ gifted the car to me when they left to live in another state. They no longer felt comfortable driving at their age, and were generous enough to give it to me when I got my drivers’ license. They were avid vagabonds and traveled constantly in this car going on several adventures around the country. I based the personification on a combination of both my grandparents, but more so my grandfather as he was the one that drove the most. He has since passed, but I think of him every time I drive. I still find little tools that were his hidden in the cracks. This car means the world to me, it was fun to finally give them a face.

theres a “draw your car as people” challenge going round by @marsoid so i drew my car as people Jimmy has a little denmark flag pin bc I have a small denmark sticker on the rear windscreen. For the t-shirt print the same; got the “ride eternal”-logo also as a small sticker. “Tokyo drift” is their fav song simply because I have the feeling that everytime I play it in their real life car counterpart, my Jimny makes an effort to let it sound as best as possible lol (the sound system straight from factory is not great imo)

Did not have good pics of my own so i used the commercial ones. Mine also features a black roof rack and black bull bar in front. And is always slightly dirty; I could plant potatoes in the sand that’s gathered in the footwell (sorry jimny lov u)

In a very important home life update: we got a high vis vest for one of our chickens

They apparently have a great unintended use of stopping hens from getting bullied, so we got one to try it out since the above hen gets excessively picked on by the others (we don't really know why).

I just want to say I have absolutely 0 sympathy whatsoever for anyone complaining about anything homeless people do. oh you saw human shit on the ground?? hmm maybe it's because THEY DONT HAVE A TOILET. oh you saw someone cleaning themselves in a public restroom? maybe because THEY DONT HAVE A FUCKING SHOWER. oh no a homeless person is living in a tent and you think it's ugly?? CRY ABOUT IT IN YOUR FUCKING HOUSE. oh my goodness homeless people sleeping on the ground and they're in your way!!!! yeah THEY DONT HAVE A BED

if seeing homeless people bothers you that much then good news! you have some choices! 1) let them all live with you in your house! 2) start pressuring your local government to stop criminalizing the homeless and start giving them financial and medical assistance! 3) shut the fuck up and die!
