The Dannymay is upon us! Since the first prompt was "Insect", the worst psychiatrist in the world and her evil mosquitoes from season two snatch the illustration of the first day. Spectra was such a fun, despicable villain! Seeing some of Penny's vampire traits, it's interesting they gave her little blood sucking bugs as a weapon in the episode.

We don't know if we're gonna draw something for every day/prompt, but there's several of them it could be fun to try! >:)

Spotify Is Acting Like a Cartoon Villain

Spotify is about to start stealing from its most vulnerable artists. I guess I have something to say about that. #SpotifyStealing #IndieMusic

Over a decade ago, my friend wished I could be there to sing her baby some lullabies so I recorded some and wrote one specifically for him. Then I burned those songs onto a CD and put them in the mail. I did this for a fair number of my friends with babies for a fair number of years. Then some of the parents of those babies wished they could listen to them on Spotify and so I put them up there…

This is the most cartoon hero vs. villain dialogue I've seen in a Star Wars book. Very Zurg vs Lightyear "I will destroy you Skywalker! *evil laugh*"

Been meaning to make a drawing of my problematic favourite from my favourite show for a while now.

Was originally going to colour it, but while I was working on the line art, I thought that pencil sketch style already looked pretty good. That and with how edgy some of the lines were turning out, I thought it suited her... manic disposition pretty well!

Don't Underestimate Goofy Villains

Was reminiscing about some of my fav cartoons growing up: Phineas & Ferb and Xiaolin Showdown. Both shows have a villain who is goofy and always fails at everything. Jack Spicer in XS is a rich evil genius who practically wants to be evil to be edgy. Doofenshmirtz is the lovable villain who is quirky and has a comically tragic childhood.

At some point, these guys are so incompetent that you feel sorry for them. They have soft moments and it's easy to forget that they want to take over the world...until they do.

It's hilarious and disturbing how these lovable villains become brutal dictators in alternate timelines. It just made me realize to never underestimate people. I look back and realize that Jack Spicer was a worse overlord than Wuya and Chase Young, the two villains that Jack tried to suck up to. And as much as I love Doof, only the antics of Phineas and Ferb prevented the Tri-State area from being taken over.

Man, I miss my childhood.
