Listed: Verity Den
Tumblr media
Verity Den plays a soft-focus, trance-state shoegaze with glimmers of Zelienople, Bark Psychosis and Movietone. The band, out of North Carolina, is comprised of Casey Proctor, Trevor Reece and Mike Wallace, all three of the DIY veterans who formed the band in early 2023. Reviewing their 2024 self-title debut, Jennifer Kelly wrote, “Though their album is enjoyable as rock, it is very clearly not just that; it pools and looms and gently probes improvisatory effected guitar zones that sit pretty far from conventional song structures.”
Casey Proctor “Chant Arabe” (Anonymous) from Suzuki — Piano School: Volume 1
youtube
I started taking Suzuki Method piano lessons when I was five years old, and “Chant Arabe” was one of the pieces in Volume 1. During my first recital, my teacher exclaimed how I connected with that piece more than the others, saying that some people can emote ominous (minor-key) music more effectively. It was an early realization that I might be one of those people, and I still enjoy listening to and writing with those tonalities.
Mahavishnu Orchestra — “Meeting of the Spirits”
youtube
Every Sunday morning for a solid five-year period when I was a kid (like 7-11), my dad would blast “Meeting of the Spirits” while making breakfast. Undoubtedly, I was influenced by all the music he listened to, but that song in particular is probably the reason I went on to listen to other prog bands from the 1970s and later bands like Meshuggah and Animals as Leaders. We weren’t a religious family but during that era we were attendants at the church of prog rock.
Young Marble Giants — Colossal Youth
youtube
The first time I heard a Young Marble Giants song it was Hole covering “Credit in the Straight World.” I didn’t “discover” that it was a YMG song until later and then finally listened to the entirety of Colossal Youth. Front to back it’s a perfect album. It has minimal instrumentation, but it’s completely engaged and never boring. Alison Statton’s lyrics are nuanced and poetic but very punk. I don’t know how to make music that sounds like that, and I haven’t heard anyone else do it.
Mikhail Kalatozov — Letter Never Sent (1959)
youtube
Letter Never Sent is my favorite film. Beyond it being one of the most beautifully shot films I’ve ever seen (Sergey Urusevsky is the cinematographer and it’s in black and white), the subject matter feels like it’s personally tailored to me in a few ways. It’s about a group of government-funded geologists who are sent to Siberia to find diamonds. Their expedition is interrupted by a forest fire that cuts off communication with rescue crews and disorients them into a survival situation. Much less dramatically… I worked for the US Forest Service for 12 years, building and maintaining trails in the front and back country, almost majored in Geology and was a certified wildland firefighter for a few years. Also, honorable mention, from the same director… Salt for Svanetia (1930) is fantastic cinema and one of the earliest ethnographic films ever made.
Trevor Reece Roedelius — Wenn Der Südwind Weht
youtube
Right before the pandemic, I wasn't playing much “rock” guitar or listening to most of my long-time go-to-records. Leaning more towards experimental, drone and synth-based music. A friend put this Roedelius record on my radar around that time and it inspired me to record some questionable but exciting stuff at home. A classic record and always there to help.
Alex Chilton — Like Flies On Sherbert
youtube
Alex Chilton & his weird friends making a mess in the studio.
Bill Daniel — Who Is Bozo Texino? (2005)
youtube
I first saw this film during a screening tour through the south around 2006. I was somewhat new to town, wandering around and only cared about making art. Highlighting old outsiders making their mark and telling stories through a grainy film collage felt new but familiar. The ethos of this film is one that I still relate to today.
Mike Wallace Allen Toussaint — “Southern Nights”
youtube
A totally transporting song, Toussaint showers you in layers of piano and keys, the percussion chirps along like crickets at night and that perfect, unhurried hook. It really captures a certain kind of feeling, that particular humidity, the sun going down over the field. It's strange though because I didn’t hear this song until I was probably 25 or something, so I didn't have a memory of listening to it as a kid or something, but like a lot of songs, it became like a lens to look back on that, maybe memories I wish were there in some way. I guess it taps this strange kind of nostalgia whose origin is hard to locate and also comes with its own load of complications. That’s a part of the Southern experience, too, in a way that's unique to this part of the country. Memory and history are omnipresent, written and rewritten. I don't even hate the Glen Campbell version of this song. That’s its own type of “Southern Night.” Sometimes it's like that. I didn’t always embrace being from the South, but nowadays I’m into it and I know that when I’m living somewhere else someday, I will finally get to have that feeling of honestly missing a place and wishing I was back home for just a night.
Grouper — “Alien Observer”
youtube
This is the first Grouper song I heard and I remember feeling just stunned by it. It has this depth of interiority and a meditative cycle that’s like breathing. I think this song really struck me because I encountered Liz Harris/Grouper at a transitional period. After the end of a long relationship, I was living for a little bit with several people in a house in Greensboro, NC called Hellraiser Haus, named because some scenes from Hellraiser 3: Hell on Earth were supposedly filmed at the church across the street. It was a show house and the people I lived with were great, but I was kind of struggling with what was next and who I was in the wake of everything kind of disintegrating. There was something so bleak and comforting in this song, I really did kind of feel like an alien, observing myself, kind of detached. A few years later I saw her play kind of a large theater in Raleigh for this festival Hopscotch, and waking up several minutes after she had finished, kind of disoriented and crunched up in the seat and thinking I just saw one of the best shows of my life.
Wong Kar-wai — In the Mood For Love (2000)
youtube
What more can be said about this movie that hasn't already? Wong Kar-wai is a master, and a really singular stylist. I never tire of watching this one, but I rarely put it on, it's just really worth savoring. It's also one where one’s feelings may change over time in relation to the basic plot points. Maybe you recognize yourself at different points or scenes than you did before, or see a new detail in a gesture or glance, like every moment’s a prism and would mean something different if it was just slightly turned. Being in a state of longing can really feel awful, but there can also be a kind of solace in there. Even once it's over, you can return to it sometimes, to remember. I mean just see it; this isn’t making any sense anymore!

Biggest Potato Chip
I received an email from Ramzi, a bioengineer outside of a Philadelphia asking what is the largest potato chip.  Per the Guinness Book of World Records the record was made by a team of food engineers employed by Proctor & Gamble, Cincinnati, Ohio, June 3 1991.
The crisp measures 25 by 14 inches and weighs 5.4 oz. It contains 920 calories, the equivalent of 80 regular Pringle's potato chips.

Speaking of Big, one of my all time favorite Saturday Night Live Skits was called the Amazing Colossal President. also known as the Pepsi Syndrome.  It's only fitting since Pepsi owns Frito-Lay.  It was a spoof on t Three Mile island Nuclear Accident and has President Jimmy Carter entering a nuclear plant to help solve the accident only to be exposed so much uranium that he becomes incredibly large.   In the middle of the skit, one of my all-time favorite comedians, Rodney Dangerfield, is brought in to explain to Mrs. Rosalynn Carter just exactly how large President Carter has become:
Tumblr media
Rosalynn Carter: Well how big is he?
Dr. Edna Casey: Well Mrs. Carter, it’s difficult to comprehend just how big he is but to give you some idea, we’ve asked comedian Rodney Dangerfield to come along today to help explain it to you. Rodney?
[ Rodney Dangerfield enters ]Rodney Dangerfield: How do you do, how are you?
Ross Denton: Rodney, can you please tell us, how big is the president?
Rodney Dangerfield: Oh, he’s a big guy, I’ll tell you that, he’s a big guy. I tell you he’s so big, I saw him sitting in the George Washington bridge dangling his feet in the water! He’s a big guy!
Rosalynn Carter: Oh my God! Jimmy! Oh God!
Rodney Dangerfield: Oh, he’s big, I’ll tell you that, boy. He’s so big that when two girls make love to him at the same time, they never meet each other! He’s a big guy, I’ll tell you!
Rosalynn Carter: Oh no! Oh Jimmy! My Jimmy!
Rodney Dangerfield: I don’t want to upset you lady, he’s big, you know what I mean? Why he could have an affair with the Lincoln Tunnel! I mean, he’s really high! He’s big, I’ll tell you! He’s a big guy!
Rosalynn Carter: No! No! No!
Ross Denton: Rodney, thank you very much. You can go.
Rodney Dangerfield: It’s my pleasure. He’s way up there, lady! you know what I mean? [ goes off, leaving Rosalynn Carter very upset ]
The entire transcript can be read here:  https://tmi.papost.org/the-pepsi-syndrome-saturday-night-live/
The skit is the longest in SNL history and follows shortly after the opening monologue.    It starts at the 8:27 mark and runs until 22:35.

Screen Media Acquires British Psychological Thriller ‘CORDELIA’ Starring Antonia Campbell-Hughes and Johnny Flynn
Screen Media, a Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment company, announced the acquisition of all North American rights to the psychological thriller Cordelia from Great Point Media, who have world distribution rights outside the UK. Directed and written by Adrian Shergold (Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman) with co-writer and star Antonia Campbell-Hughes (It Is In Us All, 3096 Tage), Cordelia also stars Johnny Flynn (Emma, Beast), Joel Fry (Yesterday, “Game of Thrones”), Michael Gambon (Harry Potter Franchise) and Catherine McCormack (Braveheart, 28 Weeks Later). The film is produced by Kevin Proctor of StudioPOW and executive produced by Andrew Boswell, Sally Hawkins, Georgina Lowe, Tania Reddin, Perry Trevers and Charlie Wood. Released earlier in the UK, the film received critical acclaim for its complicated, trauma-afflicted characters and reality-bending plot. Screen Media is planning a day-and-date release in May.
Tumblr media
“Cordelia feels betrayed,” said Director and Writer Adrian Shergold. “She’s a survivor… but that brings guilt… reality begins to blur…. What is real and what is not? Paranoia sets in, but because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean you’re wrong.”
Cordelia (Antonia Campbell-Hughes), a young woman living in London with her twin sister, meets her mysteriously alluring neighbor Frank (Johnny Flynn) for the first time but quickly becomes suspicious of his true motives. With her sister out of town for the weekend, the anxious Cordelia is all alone and consumed by her many fears. She begins to unravel and sink back into past traumas the more Frank tries to charm his way into her life.
“Reminiscent of great classic 1960s British psychological Horror with a modern female hand, Cordelia's London is preserved, sumptuous and rich,” said Antonia Campbell-Hughes. “It's a joy to share this rare gem that we manifested to an international audience of Cinema lovers.”
“CORDELIA is the kind of thriller that instantly intrigues thanks to a well-crafted atmosphere of paranoia and stunning lead performances by Antonia Campbell Hughes and Johnny Flynn,” said Screen Media in a statement. “We know this one will grip audiences and won't let go until the credits roll."
Screen Media recently acquired the psychological thriller The Good Neighbor starring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, the psychological horror film Monstrous starring Christina Ricci, the thriller The Immaculate Room starring Emile Hirsch and Kate Bosworth, Kevin Lewis’ follow up to Willy’s Wonderland, The Accursed starring Mena Suvari, Gigi Gaston’s 9 Bullets starring Lena Headey and Sam Worthington, and Philip Noyce’s Fast Charlie starring Pierce Brosnan.  Screen Media released Gold starring Zac Efron this month. Other recent releases include Manny Perez’s La Soga Salvation acquired out of the Toronto International Film Festival, Casey Tebo’s Black Friday starring Devon Sawa and Bruce Campbell, James Nunne’s One Shot starring Scott Adkins and Ryan Phillippe, and Brent Wilson’s documentary Brian Wilson: Long Promised Road.

c, f, h, L, and z for miss lyra please !!! 😁😁😁
tysm maia!! i'm sorry this took a moment💕 c answered here xx
Tumblr media
— F / FUN
i. what do they do for fun?
hunts sinners through the woods, oversees the realm of the damned ( more commonly known as the judge games ), purifies the unworthy in the face of death, seedsplains to heretics the errors of their ways,
i jest. lyra is happiest in nature, and she always has been; she loves watching the sun rise, going for walks, wading through rivers, visiting faith in the henbane, throwing open the windows and dancing to her favorite records, sitting at the firepit watching the sky at night.
ii. what is their ideal party?
sinner roasts, naturally!
in all seriousness, while lyra is an inherently social creature, she’s had a lifetime of extravagant parties and formal galas and exhilarating crowds — her life with lawrence was as a daughter of gatsby — and is fairly disillusioned; she’s happiest in small gatherings with her family & the trusted faithful, preferably outdoors with a fire.
iii. who would they have the most fun with?
her favorite companions are her sister-in-law and her husband. she loves him and his unbearable personality immensely but if he ever begins john-ing too hard she can simply climb on top of him.
iv. can they have fun while conforming to rules?
absolutely not. she did not get kicked out of every boarding school in new england and one in the original for this shit.
the actual answer is yes, easily; lyra needs very little to be happy. rules imposed by institutions or figures she holds in low esteem might have no bearing on her behavior one way or the other, but violating rules for the sake of it holds no thrill for her. ( she did intentionally violate the rules & codes of the aforementioned boarding schools, of course, but that was for the sole purpose of incurring disciplinary action or expulsion and force her parents to contend with her, even in a negative capacity ).
v. do they go out a lot?
in terms of “physically not at home,” yes — for the vast majority of her life “out” has been her primary state — but since moving to hope county the concept of going out in an “on the town” or social sense has become virtually non-existent. she still frequents the spread eagle to gather intel, but given that anyone she would actually want to attend social functions with is “unwelcome” because they “used tactics of coercion and intimidation in attempts to seize property” and “verbally tells people they’re marked” and that they’re “going to huff and puff and blow their house down” or otherwise kidnapped, drugged, tortured, or killed someone’s neighbors, no, she does not “go out” for her own personal enjoyment a lot anymore.
— H / HEAT
i. do they rather a hot or cold room?
hot! lyra will break out the furs when needed, but she prefers to wear as little clothing as possible; the heat has always suited her better.
ii. do they prefer summer or winter?
summer! it’s her favorite season, her favorite weather ( hot, clear, sunny ), and it carries all of her fondest memories & associations.
iii. do they like the snow?
she doesn't dislike it on principle, she finds it aesthetically pleasing, but her appreciation of it runs out if she actually has to contend with it ( she has never shoveled a day in her life and she does not intend to begin, thank you ). seasonally she likes it just fine; it tends to overstay its welcome with her.
iv. do they have a favorite summer activity?
avoiding the favored summer activities of hope county, mostly ( what the bleeding fuck is cornhole ). slipping into the old hot springs resort in the evenings ( to shaggy’s eternal chagrin; she managed to talk john and faith into joining her at the springs, once, but he was unwilling to voice his objections so he simply had to stand three yards away from them clutching his rifle and clenching his teeth ). sunbathing, skinny dipping, smoking on nature walks and wandering off mountain paths, sunset bonfires with the flock. evening sermons where she can freely socialize with her husband on her arm ( she never worries about her cover at the compound on the goody proctor principle ).
v. do they have a favorite winter activity?
why, yes, staying the hell inside!
as a girl her family would holiday in the mountains, but even then she wasn’t particularly inclined towards any winter sports; she can skate or ice dance but she doesn’t have any particular affinity for it and hasn’t bothered since girlhood. she finds most winter activities and attire unpleasant and physically restrictive, but she does enjoy an occasional nice brisk ramble outside through the snow. she likes sleigh rides, provided she can sit with her furs on her lap and hot cider in her hands.
mostly she’s happiest in front of a fire with warm drinks and her family.
— L / LEMONS
i. what is their favorite fruit?
raspberries & pomegranates.
ii. what is their least favorite fruit?
tomatoes xx
she dislikes bananas texturally but she doesn’t object to them as an ingredient.
iii. are there any foods they hate?
shaggy's truly horrible venison jerky.
in another life she might have eventually been vegan — she’s already preferentially pescatarian — but in this life she has yet another gutted deer tossed up on her doorstep in an offering from the faithful and a half-charred cow right behind it, so. alas.
iv. do they have any food intolerances?
shaggy's truly horrible —
not that she's encountered, no!
v. what is their favorite food?
pastries ( she favors light & flaky but will not say no to coffee cakes or sugar donuts, the latter of which she almost solely subsisted on in the summers of her childhood ), fresh fruits, sushi & seafood for heavier courses, do not tell anyone but she secretly loves casey’s greasy offerings, will miss that sinner’s burgers after the collapse, truly a shame
— Z / ZEBRA
i. what’s their favorite animal?
this is despicable; she a beloved dog, cougar, grizzly bear, and numerous judge wolves. she cannot possibly be expected to give a species preference.
ii. do they like animals?
she adores animals. ask john about the pain of his existence.
iii. cats or dogs?
she is not doing this, as i said, but numerically speaking, she’s had more canine companions in her lifetime; she grew up with golden retrievers at the fairbanks summer home.
iv. what’s their dream pet?
all of them <3
of personal pets she lacks, however, she misses horses the most; she was quite an equestrian as a girl.
v. do they have any pets at the moment?
as of the reaping, boomer, peaches, & cheeseburger are in her custody via her intervention before they could be sent to jacob, having become attached to all of them during her months spent spying on the locals. what, she’s keeping them out of resistance hands, is she not?

Verity Den—S-T (Amish)
Tumblr media
Verity Den, from North Carolina, cast a hazy, guitar-distorted spell, their music adjacent to trance-state shoegaze, but quieter and hard to pin down. If you enjoyed the cloud-bank drones of bands like Zelienople and Bark Psychosis, slow spooling altered realities like “Washer Dryer” will likely hit the spot. This cut, the first one off Verity Den’s introductory album, swirls a mix of altered guitar textures, massing in waves, then cutting back to flickering whisper. A woman’s voice cuts through shifting, incandescent layers of sound, a disembodied descant swooning through the sound. The cut sounds dreamily subdued, though it’s probably loud as fuck in the room, a lullaby and a firestorm at the same time.
The band is a trio, though footage from 2023 shows them configured in four pieces, a drummer added, perhaps, for the live performance. All three of them—Casey Proctor, Trevor Reece and Mike Wallace—were been active in a Chapel Hill experimental scene for a while before coalescing into a band early last year. Though their album is enjoyable as rock, it is very clearly not just that; it pools and looms and gently probes improvisatory, effected guitar zones that sit pretty far from conventional song structures.
The first cut is indefinite and beautiful; it adjusts time and space around you as you listen. Later cuts are more emphatic—see the rain of guitar clangor that paces “Priest Boss” or the extended feedback freakout of “Crush Meds”—but these tracks have a narcotic air. You can sink all the way into the interleaved strumming of “Tess” and fall backwards through its lapping textures. And though “Everyone Thought You Were Dead” howls and screeches with amp noise at the start, it soon settles into an enveloping meditation.
All of which is to say that Verity Den sculpts serene and hypnotic vistas out of the squall and clamor of rock instruments. You don’t so much listen as let this disc wash over you, and it feels amazing as it rises to submerge your whole self.

Ship game
Rules: Movie/TV ship questions, no repeats, answer with a gif. (I couldn’t make my own, but I’ve credited below.)
Honored to be tagged for this by the fabulous @nevertothethird and my wonderful meme partner, @lavellenchanted. Let’s talk ships!
1. First Ship ↳ Jack/Sue, Sue Thomas FBEye
This show used to air at random times on my local UPN station and I was - completely inexplicably - wild for it. My best friend and I would call each other frantically if we happened to catch it when it was on. A big part of my interest? This very chaste pair of coworkers who wanted to be something more! (Gif via @suethomasfbeye)
2. First OTP ↳ Buffy/Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Cannot tell you how completely gone I was for this ship for essentially all of high school. Was it the soulmates aspect? The Yearning™ because they couldn’t be together? Their sweetness and encouragement toward each other, the way they relied on each other despite everything? My enormous thing for David Boreanaz? (It couldn’t have been my total 😍 for the symbolism of the cross burned into Angel’s chest in 1x07 - I was not astute enough to appreciate it until later.) Regardless, I spent much of driver’s ed when I was 16 writing a full on treatise about how they were meant for each other. Still do not drive, but they’re still with me, so I think I took care of the important stuff. (Gif via @buffysummers)
3. Current Fave Ship ↳ Elizabeth/Henry, Madam Secretary
It’s not a huge surprise that I got into this show, considering my love of The West Wing and my past as a college aged Good Wife fan, but I was shocked at how absolutely wonderful this ship was. I’m always here for functional married couples, and they are a prime example of believing in each other, having complementary values, communicating, and sticking together through everything. I’m about it. (Gif via @beautifuldisastr)
4. Your Ship Since the First Minute ↳ Booth/Brennan, Bones
I purposefully picked a gif from the first Bones episode I ever watched (2x04, The Blonde in the Game) because from the second they walked through those woods arguing about the possibility of having a pig for a pet, I was gone for them - and they didn’t even get together for another four seasons. The show shifted tone in later years in a way that I wasn’t totally on board with, but at the core, their bickering and chemistry and rock-solid partnership remained a draw for me. (Gif via @becauseyoulovemebb)
5. Ship You Wish Had Been Endgame ↳ Mary/Marshall, In Plain Sight
Y’all. It makes no sense that these two didn’t end up together. I rewatched somewhat recently and liked Abigail much better this time around, but these two had a best friendship that was extremely obviously a romance, and they passed it over to stick them with random others. (Gif via @browncoatgrl221b)
6. Ship You Wish Was Canon ↳ Sam/Ainsley, The West Wing
The idea of the principled Republican doesn’t exactly carry the same meaning these days, but I’m with Aaron Sorkin: not keeping Emily Proctor on West Wing was a huge mistake. Watching these two characters walk and talk through disagreeing on nearly everything and still managing to be friends of a sort is an unexpected joy of any rewatch. (Gif via @donnajosh)
7. Ship that Most of the Fandom Hates, but You Love ↳ Rory/Logan, Gilmore Girls
I’m not completely alone in shipping them, but Jess is definitely the more popular Rory boyfriend and Logan gets a LOT of hate. And in some ways I get it, but my heart belongs to these two beautiful messes who filled my life with adorable moments of banter and affection as they learned to be in a relationship. (They were also a candidate for “different storyline” - where was my revival non-cheating media power couple, Palladinos? Where was it?????????) (Gif via @rosedatlantis)
8. You Don’t Even Watch the Show, but You Ship It ↳ Jim/Pam, The Office
Mike Schur is my guy, but The Office has always been too awkward for me to handle. Still, if I ever force myself to watch, getting to see these two will have been a big factor in the decision. They look adorable, and history has shown that I’m wild for a sweet Schur relationship! (Gif via @bymine)
9. Ship That You Wish Had a Different Storyline ↳ Dawson/Casey, Chicago Fire
Part of the reason their relationship turned out the way it did was because of behind the scenes real world stuff, but I would have absolutely loved for Dawson to stick around and for them to figure out their issues (and maybe even eventually build a family). Also for them to have gone through just a touch less Drama™! My brother was recently binging the show and as I watched over his shoulder I found that I didn’t remember about 400 fairly large obstacles and random soap opera plots they added in for them. (Gif via @jayhalsstead)
10. Fave Ship That’s Endgame ↳ Steve/Peggy, MCU
It’s gotta be them, ya know? It was in the prompt. I’ve been extremely #blessed to have a lot of endgame or at least canon ships (Ben/Leslie from Parks and Rec? Matt/Julie from Friday Night Lights? Parker/Hardison on Leverage? Logan/Veronica on Veronica Mars since they got married and lived happily ever after and nothing else? Jake/Amy from Brooklyn 99? DON/SLOAN ON THE NEWSROOM??????), but the surprise and delight of these two finding their way back to each other? Unparalleled. A joy. 10000/10. (Gif via @onscreenkisses)
I’ll tag @mediocre-mee, @sisforsammi, @nightlocktime, @thesokovianaccords, and anyone else who wants to do it!

Is there any ocs youd like to crossover with?
Honestly, a lot lmaooo but I’m too shy to ask and assume that no one cares about me or my ocs or even likes me. It’s just ocs that I love so much so the list gonna be long!
Anywaay, in the MCU oc community, I’d say your babe Lila Manning with Joanna cause I love Lila so so much. Even thought I didn’t finished the binge reading, I would die for a crossover between Q Proctor, who belongs to @cassercole, and my Joanna Michaels but idk if it would work out tbh. I also LOVE a crossover between Dom, and the genius behind her is @whittymores and Joanna. Also, I lowkey love @jamezvaldes‘s Geo Stark and just can’t stop wondering what Casey and Geo could been. I also lowkey love Malcom Hanson, who’s writer is the one and only @scarlctvitch  and just think that both of them could be cuties, but also that Colton and Malcom could be the truest brotp of all. Also, this oc belongs to Arielle too but Elena is badass and I love her.
As you know, I have an upcoming Titans ocs (if I ever succeed in finishing that fucking gifset) and so far, I’d really like to crossover with Savannah Syren (@shelleyelordi), Darcy Donovan (@perfectlystiles) and Febe (@neverbess) who looks really interesting tbh!
I really love Claire Fuller of @susiesamurai and I’m very curious about how Gabbie and Claire would get along. Also, Rosa (@moirei)) has all my attention and my love and Gabbie and her could so interesting tbh.
That the ocs I have on my mind so far, and I probably forgotten a bunch but honestly, I love all of my mutuals ocs and if you ever want a crossover, I’m here!

Mel Feller, MPA, MHR. Shares Quotes to Charge the Entrepreneurial Spirit
Tumblr media
Mel is the President/Founder of Mel Feller Seminars with Coaching for Success 360, Inc. and Mel Feller Coaching.  Mel Feller maintains offices in Texas and in Utah.
Quotes.  Entrepreneurs are fascinated with them.  They spark our creativity, motivate us to action, and inspire us to greatness. They offer us insights into the spirit behind innovation and genius. In addition, they act as fuel to the fire that burns deep within every true entrepreneur.
The quotes below are, in Mel Feller’s opinion, some of the best of the best.  They come from authors, poets, inventors, scholars, and entrepreneurs – all legends in their own rights.  So jot them down on Post-it notes and decorate your workspace. Grab red lipstick and write them in sweeping letters across your mirrors.  Pick your favorite and brand it on your…palm.  The right words at the right time can be paramount to your success, so do whatever it takes to keep inspiration nearby.

“I believe you can train yourself to become a positive thinker, but you must cultivate a desire to develop the skill of setting personal worthy and realistic goals. I am so thoroughly convinced that if we don’t set goals in our life and learn how to master the technique of living to reach our goals, we can reach a ripe old age and look back on our life only to see that we reached but a small part of our full potential. When you learn to master the principle of setting a goal, you will then be able to make a great difference in the results you attain in this life.” -M. Russell Ballard
“Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark, in the hopeless swamps of the approximate, the not quite, the not-yet, the not-at-all.   “The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and doing something. It’s as simple as that. A lot of people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week. But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer, not a dreamer.”
- Nolan Bushnell, founder of Atari and Chuck E. Cheese’s
“Innovation is the specific tool of entrepreneurs, the means by which they exploit change as an opportunity for a different business or a different service. It is capable of being presented as a discipline, capable of being learned, capable of being practiced. Entrepreneurs need to search purposefully for the sources of innovation, the changes and their symptoms that indicate opportunities for successful innovation. And they need to know and to apply the principles of successful innovation.”
