Get money easily
AnyDayCash.com was created to help consumers access money without hassle and wasted time.
We understand emergencies exist that may require access to cash. That’s why we simplified the process of finding a lender or lending partner to get the money you need. You no longer have to visit dozens of websites, fill out numerous requests or stand in line at a local store. We are not a lender or lending partner, but submitting your information through our secure online form will help us connect you with one of our participating lenders and lending partners in our network. The lenders and lending partners we work with are willing to help you get the cash you need. Each lender or lending partner in our network has made the approval process quick and easy, usually with a loan agreement that you can review and sign online.
We look forward to helping you with your personal lending needs.

Sweat beads down your back, the trickle of it slower than the clock ticking above your head. Time seems to slow as you sit on a carpet that hasn’t been steam cleaned since the 80s and push yourself against the wall, eyes glued to the open vault.
It had happened so fast and yet now, it’s like it can’t be over fast enough. Each second that ticks by feels like it takes a year. You cannot hear the chatter of the men inside the vault, but their harsh whispers raise goosebumps on your skin.
At least they haven’t noticed you. Not that you would do much, anyway. You have no intention of going over to push the alarm by the door, too afraid to alert the armed man who stands just outside the vault room on the other side, and far too underpaid to risk your life for a financial institution.
For a moment, you wish it were you robbing the damned bank. Maybe you could pay off the student loans on your degree you’re not using and run the heating in your apartment during the winter instead of bundling up in several layers.
Your momentary lapse of delusion passes as the men rush out of the vault, duffles in hand. They’re all dressed in red, black masks covering their faces with shapes on them. You’re vaguely aware that the costume belongs to some sort of show you saw online, but you can’t place them.
Perhaps you’ll watch it now.
“Hurry up,” one of the men barks toward the vault. There had been three inside, but only two came out. “Grab the last and let’s go. Two minutes left.”
They’re gone in an instant. Your eyes dart back to the vault where you can hear the last person inside. Glancing at the clock, you watch the seconds tick by.
Ten seconds. Fifteen. Thirty. A minute.
A man dressed in a red suit, hood pulled over his head comes out of the vault. As he slugs it shut with one arm, the bag on his shoulder droops, spilling the contents inside out onto the floor. Bands of cash fall out, thudding around his feet. He swears loudly and bends over, back slipping more to drop cash on the ground.
In his frustration, he crouches and tips the mask up a fraction, shielding his face from the camera above but not from you, huddled on the floor a few feet away.
Your heart skips. The thief is beautiful. Dark eyes focused on his task, a wide nose that fits perfectly on a symmetrical face with high cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and a pursed mouth. There’s a flush in his face from the heat, the tip of his nose an endearing shade of rose.
As if sensing your gaze, his head snaps up. You cower against the wall, realizing now that you’ve seen his face, you’ve doomed yourself. He stalls completely, gloved hand hovering over the cash, eyes boring into you. He arches a brow as if to ask you a question and you respond by shaking your head.
The thief gives you a cocky grin, nodding before he finishes picking up the money and tossing it into the bag. He looks at you again, a smirk on full display before he winks and pulls the mask back down. “Good girl,” he purrs. “I like that.”
Despite the situation, your stomach flips. He stands and rushes out, lingering by the door for a second longer to stare at you through the black mask. You can’t see his face, but you know you’ll never forget it, pretty as an angel, dangerous as a devil.
When the group is gone, you wait in silence, only the pumping of your heart to keep you company. When the cops come and ply you with questions all you can do is shake your head repeatedly.
I was too scared. I can’t remember.
-
I was too scared. I can’t remember.
It is the same thing you tell investigators for nearly two months. Just when you think they won’t keep asking what the man looked like, they finally drop it, handing over the robbery details to the FBI. They were at least a little less callous, caring a little less about how many questions you answered.
If you had to guess, your unimpressive financial situation even after the robbery was significant enough that you weren’t involved with the robbery.
It’s hard not to wish you had been. The straw in your mouth belongs to a drink that is far too expensive for you to not wince and it barely tastes like anything. At this rate, you know you won’t get a buzz. You’d love alcohol to take the edge off of the loud club music or loosen you up a bit, but you’re resigned to being sober for the rest of your friend's birthday.
Around you is a gaggle of men and women, both people you know and new faces trying to pick up your friends. Anyone trying to hit on you has already decided you’re far too grumpy to waste time on, most of their backs facing you as people shout over the music about working in finance.
You wonder if they also rob banks in their spare time. It makes you grin, thinking fondly about the thief once again. You do that a lot.
Sipping the drink, you glance at your phone. It’s been an hour since you arrived, but you’re wondering if enough time has reasonably passed to excuse yourself. Tomorrow is one of your few days off and you intend to spend it lounging on the couch watching TV instead of nursing a headache.
Someone slides into the space at the bar next to you. You don’t glance up at them, spinning your skinny cocktail straw absently as you stare at the melted ice of your Long Island iced tea. You hoped that once it melted it would turn into a second drink, but it hasn’t. Cold, bitter water it is, then.
“Why the long face?” You frown at the vaguely familiar voice and glance up, freezing.
Mr. Bank Robber looks down at you, cocking his head to the side with a wolfish grin. Your mouth pops open in surprise, leaning back a little as you drink him in. This close, he is far more beautiful than you remember, the edges and shadows of his face like a carefully painted fresco. Michelangelo could hardly be talented enough to capture this.
“You,” you whisper, his grin spreading further.
“Have we met?” he leans on the bar, dressed in all black. You eye the three-piece suit and the glinting diamonds in the cuff links. His clothes are far finer than anything anyone else is wearing and when you breathe in sharply, you smell a hint of woody cologne. His dark hair is slicked back and you catch the dainty hoop earrings in his lobes. You like the juxtaposition.
“You know we have.” He tongues the inside of his cheek, turning his head to order with the bartender. His eyes stray to you, raising a brow. You supply him with your answer, “A long island.”
The bartender nods, momentarily stupefied by the heistman’s beauty before walking over to the POS, tapping the screen with the speed and aggression unique to bartenders.
“Kind of a shitty club,” he mentions, looking around over the top of your head. Sweat clings to your lower back, your mouth growing dry as you watch colors splash on his face. “Your face is too pretty for a place like this.”
“Is that so?”
“Mhmm.” The bartender puts the drinks on the counter and the man gives him cash, signaling to keep the change. The bartender raises a brow but says nothing, taking the money as he goes. “What’s your name?”
“You probably already know it.” He cocks his head to the side. “I’m sure you looked me up to see if I was a threat or watched me to see what I’d do.”
“You watch too many heist movies.”
“Maybe I watch just enough.”
He laughs at that and your lips twitch. It’s rich, making his face intimidating as he gives you a wide smile and shakes his head. “Alright, maybe you’re right.”
“Can I know your name?”
“For the right price.”
“My silence was a pretty petty, no?”
He bites his bottom lip, eyes dipping down and back up. You sip your drink, feeling a flush of warmth unfurl in your body, most notably between your legs. “I like you.”
“You have to like me. I know your secret.”
Leaning forward, he ducks down so that he’s murmuring into your ear, hot breath ghosting your skin and making you tremble. “Want to hear more?” Your eyelids flutter as he waits, skin buzzing at his sudden proximity. You nod, feeling lightheaded. “My name is Taehyung. Want to get out of here?”
-
“Fuck,” Taehyung growls, hands skimming your bare sides. You can’t keep still under his gaze, hips squirming and fingers twisting in the sheets. His mouth is swollen and covered in your spit, his eyes blown as a large hand scrapes down to your thigh where he gives you a good slap. “I knew you were a good girl.”
A moan trips out of your mouth. Your thigh stings where he slapped you but he soothes it with the easy back-and-forth motion of his hand, his fingers digging into your flesh. Taehyung is a man starved, having littered your body with harsh kisses and bites, nearly breaking the skin.
You don’t care. You’re feverish for him, room spinning as you sprawl on his soft sheets in a hotel room that is far nicer than anything you’ve ever been in. You burn up like a star, core raging as Taehyung leans back down, pressing your naked thighs open for him as he sucks the skin of your chest between his teeth.
Everything aches. You want him so bad that you feel a cry come out of your mouth, lips wobbling as he laughs against your skin, sinking lower and lower, mouth loud as he sucks at your skin, tongue brushing over the sting of his teeth.
“Does my good girl need her pussy eaten?” Taehyung rasps, looking up at you where he kneels between your legs. “Is that why you’re crying, hmm?”
Taehyung looks like something out of a thriller. His eyes are dark and hungry, his shadowed face becoming some sort of demon of lust. He’s what you would imagine a dark god. A bacchanal devil, a creature made for sin.
All you can do is nod in response, feeling Taehyung’s vicious grip on your thighs as he presses you further, your muscles stretching. The strain feels good, as does the slow drip of your cunt down the curve of your ass mixed with his breath.
“So messy,” he murmurs, leaning forward and blowing cool air on your sticky folds. You squirm, the sensation sending you into overdrive as you twist your head to the side, eyes squeezed shut. He’s barely done a thing and you’re worked up more than you can ever recall. “Pretty.”
The slow, soft press of Taehyung’s tongue through your pussy makes you sag. It’s the relief that you so desperately needed, eyes rolling back as he circles your clit and drags his tongue back down. Taehyung is slow as he eats you out, tongue savoring every drop you can give him.
He taps your thigh, drawing your attention to him. He smirks as his tongue dips into your entrance, dragging back up to swirl around your throbbing bud a few times.
It’s impossible to tear your eyes away once you’re watching. Taehyung keeps his razor-sharp gaze on you, bringing his mouth fully to your cunt as he sucks eagerly. There is a rhythm to the curl of his tongue and the sharp suck of his lips, the wet smack of his ministrations driving you crazy.
“Mmm,” he hums, pressing his face in further. He’s messy with it, his jaw and nose covered in shiny slick. He laughs throatily when your back comes off the bed, thighs shaking. “Such a good pussy, just like I knew it would be.”
It feels too hot in the room. Your breaths are coming in too fast and there’s nothing you can do to catch it, Taehyung working you up to a frenzied, frenetic orgasm. You can feel your heartbeat in your ears, pumping so hard that you think you might need to stop.
And then you break.
Your body seizes as you come, a scream ripping through your mouth as Taehyung slurps hungrily at your mess, spurred by your release. You can’t stop shaking as he dives in, unwilling to stop until you’re babbling, nearly lifeless as the orgasm teeters into overstimulation.
Only then does Taehyung pull his mouth away, trailing wet, cum-spit kisses on your inner thigh, nipping your thigh here and there.
“Think you can take more?” he asks, slurring his words against your thigh. “Think you can take my cock.”
You nod eagerly, hand letting go of the sheets and reaching toward him. “Yes.”
“Mmm good. I’m about to bust.” He bites your knee. “And I don’t mean a bank, this time.”

Hidden Lies (1)
Tumblr media
Pairing: Unknown x Reader
Warning: Violence, Crime, Almost Assault
Word Count: 4.9k
A/N: This is a remake of Poisonous Lies. Some parts may be familiar, and that would be why. I hope you enjoy!! Let me know who you think she'll connect more with!
This morning you woke up, listening to the sounds of birds chirping, the sun shining through your window, and feeling like it was going to be a great day.
“YN.” Your mom yells. It was too early and you were trying to wake up peacefully. “Y/N!” She calls out again, but this time it's more of a screech.
You groan loudly, folding your pillow over your ears, wanting to enjoy a little bit of time without her yelling at you. The sound of her shrieking voice was coming closer every second, until it was practically right in your ear.
Your eyes are still closed as you feel your blanket being ripped off your body, your mom cursing at you.
“Wake the fuck up!” She yells. “Don't you hear me yelling for you? I have shit to do, I cannot keep waking you up in the mornings! damn, you're going to make us both late”
You were 22 years old and you still live with your mother. This life you had was sad, although it was your fault. This technically was your choice. You had decided to drop out of school and go home to help your mom out after your dad was sentenced to 10 years in prison for a lengthy list of crimes, although well it wasn't his fault, it also was at the same time.
Your father had lost his job, and instead of telling your mother and them trying to figure it out, he went and got a loan from some people involved in crime that he most definitely should have not gone to. He didn't think about the fact that he would have had to pay that money back, plus interest. And when the time came for them to collect he didn't have it. So he was recruited for odd jobs until he had paid everything back, he didn't get very far though. His last job ended up being a sting operation and he was charged with trafficking drugs, intent to sell, attempted kidnapping, attempted human trafficking and a few other things. He wouldn't tell them why he did it, he didn't want things to get any worse, even though you weren't sure if they could or not. It wasn't his finest moment, he was trying to help his family even if it was the worst way possible. He was a good man and a good dad. Your father was a man who would do anything for his family, especially to protect them, and that’s exactly why he did what he did and now he was suffering the consequences of his own actions.
“I swear to god, YN.” Your mom yells as she grabs your arm, trying to pull you out of bed. “If you don't get your ass up in the next 30 seconds, I'm going to lose my mind! Your train leaves in 45 minutes and if you dont get ready and leave in 10 minutes then you're not going to be able to see your dad.” She sighs. “It’s his birthday, remember.”
Shit. You quickly bolt up in bed, scrambling to get out of your bed. You were rushing around your room grabbing whatever looked the cleanest on your floor before heading to your bathroom, slamming the door in the process.
Your mom sighs loudly before she leaves your room so you can rush around and get ready. You knew it was hard for her, not having your dad around, and you were sometimes difficult but you were trying. You felt guilty, especially since she wasn't able to go on the visit today, her shitty boss wouldn't let her have the time off. It had only been a year since he’d been locked up and you, mom and your brother had faced some very hard times. The three of you have been barely surviving paying the bills, mortgage, car, gas, groceries as well as trying to pay back your dad's loan in cash, rather than jobs similar to what your dad did.
Your mom was working 2 jobs, you and your brother both working full time, and all your money went towards everything needing to be paid, rarely leaving you much of anything left over but the three of you made it work, you always figured it out. You would do whatever you needed to do.
You're running down the stairs, trying to put your hair into a semi decent bun and forfeiting any makeup.
“You ready?” Your mom asks, car keys in her hand.
“Yeah, just let me grab my bag.” you breathe. You run into the kitchen, snatching your purse from the counter before you head back to the front door that's left wide open. You roll your eyes heading out the door, closing it behind you before sliding into the passenger seat of the car the three of you shared.
Your mom doesn't say a word to you on the ride to the train station. You hold your train ticket in your hand as she pulls in front of the station. “Please tell him happy birthday from me and that I love him.” she whispers as you're getting out of the car.
You give her a half smile. “I will mom.” You say, getting out of the car and closing the door. It doesn't take you long to navigate your way through the station, you’ve been making this trip a few times a month. You tried to see him as much as you could but between work, work and work, you never had a ton of time. You picked a seat on the train, setting your bag down in the seat beside you. You just made it on time, seconds later you were on your way and you couldn't wait to see your dad.
You stood in line, waiting to have your bag checked and to go through the x-ray machine. When that was all clear you headed to the front desk, showing your ID and filling out paperwork before you could even go into the room and wait for him. You sit down, your stomach is twisting with nerves. You weren't sure why, this was like any other visit you had been on.
“LN, YN.” You hear. “You can head in now.” the guard finishes, pointing towards a visitation room. The door buzzes open and you see your dad immediately, sitting in the back, in the middle of the room. His fingers were locked together with his head down. It felt like it had been forever since you had last seen him. “Dad.” you sniffle and his head shoots up, a smile spreads across his face so quickly as he stands up from his chair. You walk towards him, his arms are wide open, waiting to embrace you. You crash into his chest, wrapping your arms around him as he does you, holding you tightly. You missed his hugs, and the safeness you felt from him. You couldn't remember the last time you had felt safe.
You both let go, tears brimming in your eyes as you both sit down across from each other.
“Happy birthday dad.” you smile. He reaches out to grab your hand, whispering a small thank you while his head hangs low. “Mom also wishes you a happy birthday, and she says that she loves you.” You tell him, but you knew he already knew that.
“I know,” he smiles. “I'm assuming that she had to work today?” he asks.
You nod your head.
“She tried to get the time off but you know Dave, he’s a dick and wouldn't even let her have the morning off.” you tell him.
But again, you knew he already knew that. Dave and your dad had been friends for years, but after your dad was sentenced the man acted as if he never knew him and was never friends with him. Your eyes wander around the room, as if anything would be different since the last time you were here. Your dad begins telling you a story, something funny that had happened the other day. You were listening, but you couldn't help but let your eyes wander.
You looked out into the common room, as you were scanning the room, your eyes landed on someone. A man, a very handsome dark haired, angry looking man staring directly at you. You tried to look away from him, but it's like you were locked in with him. He was so captivating you honestly didn't even want to look away, but you do, not before he smiles at you slightly, giving you a small wink.
You’re brought out of your trance by your dad clearing his throat before continuing on with his story. You catch the end of it, laughing along with him even though you didn't really hear the rest of it. “Tell me about everything. What’s going on with you? How is your brother?” he asks. Before you can answer the lights of the prison flicker, the alarm blares as the red siren lights up the room on beat with the alarms.
“What’s happening?” you yell over the loud sounds. You were feeling a little panicked but before your dad could say anything you both hear yelling. You looked at the commotion in the common room, which was only separated from the visiting room by one large metal door. You glanced around, seeing the other visitors watching what was happening but no one was reacting to anything.
“I'm sure the guards will get it sorted, fights break out all the time. No need to worry.” Your dad tells you, trying to reassure you.
You couldn't help but worry. You watched as more and more fights were beginning to break out between prisoners, prisoners and guards. You watched in horror, as the prisoners seemingly took the guards down more easily then they should have been able too. Your eyes were darting to every window that you could see and watched guard after guard collapse, inmates grabbing the guns or batons, a cluster of inmates slamming guards into the windows, shaking what is supposed to be bullet proof glass.
Seconds later a fight in the visiting room breaks out after an inmate bashes a guard's head against the table. You're panicking now, other visitors are screaming, leaving their tables trying to escape, some pounding on the door, begging the guards to let them out.
The inmates from the common room begin trying to shoot the windows, or trying to pry open the doors into the visiting room.
The doors were buzzed open letting the guards from the front now rush in from one side to try and calm the situation but instead they let the inmates rush through the other doors into the room where you and your dad were. He had taken you to the corner of the room, standing in front of you to protect you. You peek out from behind him, the two of you watching in horror as blood and tears are spilled, the cries and pleas from visitors are yelled out as the inmates attack anyone in their way, including those who were just trying to visit their loved ones.
Your heart is pounding so loud, you can hear it in your ears. You feel weak, light headed. Your adrenaline hasn't kicked in yet. Your stomach is churning at all of the blood. Your father grabs your hand pulling you with him through another open door, and hopefully to safety. As soon as the two of you make it into another room, you're confronted by three large men.
“Look.” Your dad begins. “We don't want any trouble. I'm just trying to keep my daughter safe.”
The man in front smiles, but even his smile is terrifying.
“What a good dad you are. But don't worry.” He says. “We'll take her from here. I'll personally keep her safe.” He finishes, licking his lips.
“No thank you.” your dad says. “We're just going to go.” You grip onto your dads orange jumpsuit.
“Dad.” You whisper. He can hear the fear in your voice.
He runs forward, punching the man, pushing him into the two men behind him. “Run YN! Run!” He screams as the men grab him, taking him elsewhere. You try to run for the door but you're grabbed, pulled back and pushed against the wall. The man who had been talking to your father stood inches from your face. You could see the evil in his eyes as he eyed you up. You can feel his breath on your neck as he moves closer towards you.
You look both ways, trying to find your way to escape. There's only one other door besides the one you came through and you're pretty sure it's locked. Fear jolts through your body as you try and think of anything you could possibly say or do to get yourself out of this situation but you know that there is nothing you can do, except try and fight.
“Get away from me!” you yell, putting your hands on his chest and pushing as hard as you can.
"Don't fucking do that.” He snaps, shoving you against the wall. He raises his hand as he gets closer to you, his finger tracing your face. You squeeze your eyes shut, tears rolling down your cheeks and you let out a scream, as loud as you could. You switched between yelling "help me." And screaming, hoping someone would come for you.
The man slaps his hand over your mouth, angrily. "Why would you do that, don't you like me?" He asks. "It's been a long fucking time since we've been this close to a woman." He chuckles. You can feel his body pressing against you. You try to focus on anything else, but all you can hear is the sound of him breathing and the screams and cries of the ones caught in the riot.
Just as you were about to give up, you feel a release. You can no longer feel his body pressing against you, you can hear yelling much closer. You open your eyes and see a dark haired man, and a familiar other dark haired man pulling the men away from you. Within seconds the man who wanted to attack you was down on the floor, and the two men who saved you grabbed your hands, pulling you out of the room and away from the chaos.
Where was your dad? Was he okay?
The three of you ran down a hallway, the alarms are still blaring, you can just barely hear police sirens from outside.
The two men had no idea where to go, everywhere you looked there was violence, inmates with weapons and minimal guards that were alive.
"Hey!" You hear from down the hall. You all turn around and see the man that had you pinned against the wall. Anger suddenly fuels you, wondering where your dad was.
“What did you do to my dad!?” You scream. The man stops walking, a grin spreads across his face. “Don't worry, he's just fine. Now you two.” He says, pointing to the two men who were still holding onto you. “You don't get to take what's not yours.” He frowns. “I want her back.” He yells down the hall. The two men who had taken your father appear behind him.
“Fuck.” One says. they turn around, pulling you in a different direction. You were turning corner after corner until one of them found an unlocked door. He opens it, quickly pulling you inside before slamming it shut. Your body is shaking, you can't help but sob. You never in a million years expected today to turn out how it has.
Both the men quickly jump into action, grabbing whatever heavy pieces of furniture they can find to shove against the door. You watch them, still feeling just pure shock.
"I'm sorry." You whisper. You weren't even entirely sure what you were sorry about but it felt appropriate in the moment.
They both stop covering the door, staring at you. “Sorry for what?” One asks.
“I.. I'm not sure. But you're in this mess now because of me.” You sigh.
“We're in this because we didn't want to see an innocent woman get taken advantage of by some fucked up men. You didn't start it.” He says.
“What's your name?” The other asks.
"Y/N." You sniffle.
“I’m Wooyoung, and this is San.”
“Nice to meet you both. And thank you. I truly don't know what would have happened if you guys didn't save me.”
“It's nothing.” San says, giving you a half smile. He could not stop staring at you, just like when you were in the visiting room with your dad and he had caught your eye.
Before you could say anything back, the knob to the door started to shake. There's pounding at the door, and that's when you hear it.
“Y/N.” your dad calls. “Y/N please let me in. They're coming.” He cries. “Please.”
You run to the door, trying your best to move everything they had put against the door.
“Y/N stop.” Wooyoung yells, trying to pull you away.
“Please!” You cry. “Please help me. That's my dad, we need to let him in.”
San and Wooyoung loom at each other. They both know this is a bad idea but knew that there would be no chance of you letting up.
“Whatever happens?” San says. Wooyoung nods his head.
“Whatever happens.”
The two men help you pull the large filing cabinet, desk and other heavy things away from the door. You unlock the deadbolt, ripping the door open, the smile on your face falling immediately.
“I'm sorry Y/N. I'm so sorry.” He cries. He's pushed inside the room by the three men from before. He trips, falling to the floor with a thud. You wanted to go to him but the man has a gun now and it's pointed directly at you.
“You two aren't very good at hiding.” He chuckles.
“Eric, you don't have to do this.” Wooyoung says, his hands up as he inches towards you.
“Fuck you, Woo. You'd be the fucking same if you were locked in the hole for months at a time.” Eric snaps. “And now I have a chance for something real and you two are trying to ruin it for me.”
“I'm telling you not to fucking do this.” San snaps. He can see Eric eyeing you up, your dad laying on the floor, one of Eric's men's feet pinning him down.
“You think I'm gonna listen to you?” Eric laughs. “Just enjoy the show.” He says, grabbing onto Your wrists. Wooyoung and San try to lurch forward but they're stopped by the other two, flashing their knives. Eric pushes you against the wall, pulling you back towards him. He pulls you to the ground, climbing on top of you, straddling you. The gun is still shoved in your face. You say nothing, tears just stream down your face. Your eyes dart in-between San and Wooyoung as you silently plead for one of them to do something. To help you.
Eric rips open your shirt, exposing your bra. You look away, seeing Wooyoung and San nod towards each other. They both lunge for the men, knocking them down. Your dad scrambles to his feet taking over for San, as he runs for Eric, who was too in his own world with you to hear anything else. San tackles him, causing Eric to let go of the gun, it slides across the floor. Eric scrambles beneath San as he delivers hit after hit.
“Everybody get on the fucking ground.” You hear. Smoke bombs thrown into the room. Guards in full tactical gear flood inside, guns at the ready. San gets off of Eric, all of them men laying on the floor. “Hands on your head.” They yell.
You do as you're told. “We have a hostage located.” They go to you first, helping you up. You're coughing loudly as they guide you out of the room, into another one to be treated. They'd finally gotten everything settled down and started getting inmates back into their cells, or medical treatment.
“You took a fucking hostage, the warden is deciding your punishment.” A guard snaps at Wooyoung and San as they escort them past the room you're in. You push the nurse away, running out of the room.
“Wait!” You yell. “They didn't take me hostage. They saved me from him.” You say, pointing to Eric. “He tried to.. he tried to...” You cry. “They protected me from him and I'll forever be grateful.” you finish. You walk over to the two handcuffed men, wrapping your arms around both of them, until they're both escorted off. Both of them looking over their shoulders, giving you a smile and a wink.
Once you were checked out by the nurse and cleared to go, you were led out to the front where your mom was waiting for you. You sobbed into her shoulder as she hugged you tightly, apologizing to you profusely. She grabbed your hand, pulling you out to the car. you look back at the prison as she drives away, silently thanking Wooyoung and San for saving you. You'd have to find some way to properly thank them sometime.
“Do you want to tell me what happened?” Your mom asks.
“Dad and I were talking when fights broke out. Inmates were attacking guards and other inmates.” You sigh. “They opened the doors to the visitation room to let guards in but inmates rushed in.. one gut I guess had his sights set on me.”
“Dad protected you right?” Your mom asks.
“He tried. But there were 3 of them and one of him.. they took him away. And I was alone.” You look over at your mom, she has tears in her eyes as she listens to you. “But then two men rushed in and grabbed me, helped me escape. Took me to a room and barricaded the door.”
“They didn't hurt you did they?” She whispers.
“No mom, they didn't. Dad started banging on the door.. they helped me move everything and open the door but the bad guy was there with him, they pushed him in.. the guy tried to.. r..” you pause. Your mom looks horrified. “He didn't. Wooyoung and San tackled him and then the guards came in.”
“That was extremely lucky that they were there for you.” She sighs. “I'm so sorry baby.”
“It's not your fault mom. You didn't know that was going to happen.” You say. “No one could have predicted that would happen.”
The rest of the way you drive home in silence. You really want to just go to bed. Luckily you didn't have to work today so you could do just that. As you walked in the house, your brother Jaehyun rushed to you, hugging you tightly. “I'm so glad you're okay.” He says, squeezes you even harder.
“I won't be if you squeeze me anymore, you're gonna suffocate me.” You half chuckle, half panic. He lets you go, patting your back before heading back to the living room.
“Do you want some lunch?” Your mom asks. You raise an eyebrow. You had assumed she would have had to go back to work.
“Don't you have to go back to work?” You ask. She looks at the ground.
“Uh, well.. Dave said if I left to go to you, I wouldn't have a job. It's not worth it if he won't let me go to my child who was in the middle of a prison riot. Don't worry, I'll find something else.” She smiles.
Fuck Dave. You went up to your room, crawled in your bed and quickly fell asleep. The day was exhausting and you were still shook a week later. It was the week after the riot, and you had been answering everyone's questions about what happened, what it was like the guys who saved you. It was the talk of the town still but you were tired of talking about it. You were ready to forget about it now, which is why you agreed so fast when your friend Hwasa asked you to go out that night. There was a newish club that was apparently very exclusive and the two of you wanted in. You got ready in a hurry, doing your makeup and your hair the best you could. You slipped on your favorite club dress as well as shoes and headed for the front door.
“I'm going out, bye!” You yell, slamming the door behind you. You run down the driveway heading to Hwasa's car.
The drive to the club is long. When you finally see it, you're mesmerized. It's bigger than you imagined, the bright sign outside reads Ateez. You were so excited. The line was extremely long, and as you walked up to the bouncer he shooed you to the back of the line. It seemed like you were never going to get in.
After about twenty minutes, you noticed a man staring at you that was walking the line, he walked past you, before backing up to look at you again.
“L/N Y/N?” He asks, eyeing you up and down.
“Yes?” You respond, staring at the handsome man.
“Come with me.” He says, motioning for you and Hwasa to follow him. You and Hwasa look at each other, she shrugs her shoulders, following the man and dragging you along behind. He stops at the bouncer, pointing to you. “L/N Y/N. Add her to the list. VIP.” He finishes, bringing you both inside. What the hell did you do to get this sort of treatment?
The two of you walk behind the man, following him really without any questions. You pass what looks like the main bar, the dance floor and head up some stairs. The rope is removed from the hook, letting the three of you into the VIP area.
“You can stay here if you'd like. Your drinks are all on the house, whatever you'd like. If you need anything, my name is Mingi, don't hesitate to ask.” He says.
“Um, I do have a question.” You say, slightly raising your hand. “How? Um, why? And um what?” You say.
Mingi chuckles. “You helped my brothers out, by not adding time to their sentences. They both could have gotten a lot more time after that riot. But they didn't, because of you. So from now on, if you are in trouble or need anything, you have 8 men who will happily help you out.” He says. “Well 6 for now, until San and Woo get out.”
“All I did was tell the truth.” You say.
“There's a lot of women out there who would have lied, knowing who those two are.” He says.
“Also, You're related to them?” You ask, ignoring what he said before. You were too busy trying to stop your mouth from hanging down.
“Well.. in a sense.” He laughs. “Enjoy your night.” He finishes before leaving the room.
“What the hell!” Hwasa shouts, heading over to your private bar. She orders multiple drinks and shots for each of you to be brought to your table. As you two sit there, listening to the music the DJ is playing, drinking and just having a good time you see five men walk into the room. They stop, staring at you. As they walk over they introduce themselves.
“Y/N.” One smiles. “I'm Seonghwa, this is Yeosang, Yunho, Jongho and Hongjoong.” He says pointing to each extremely handsome man.
“Nice to meet you.” You smile back, waving at them all while hiccuping in the process.
“Thank you for what you did for Woo and San.” Seonghwa says.
“Like I said to Mingi, I was just telling the truth. I didn't want them to get into trouble for saving me.” You explain.
“If you need anything, and I mean anything, don't hesitate to call.” He says, sliding you a piece of paper. Written down are 8 phone numbers for you. This was honestly fucking surreal. Who knew this could happen for simply telling the truth?
The men walk away and Hwasa stares at you in disbelief. “I almost wish it was me that day.” She laughs. “Let's go dance!” She says, trying to pull you up.
“Let me just tidy these glasses.” You slur, stacking all the cups and shot glasses to bring back to the bartender. He laughs as you place them on the bar, and thanks you through his chuckles.
You let Hwasa drag you down the stairs to the dance floor, immediately sliding her hands all over your body as you dance closely. The two of you always preferred to dance together, but sometimes if you were into it you'd dance with men.  This time you were too into dancing with Hwasa, you didn't want any men to disturb you. You turned around, grinding your ass into her as you looked around the club. You glanced up at the balcony and saw six men leaning on the railing, all their eyes staring directly at you. Why did you feel like your life was going to get a lot more interesting?

Last night, a fuckin miracle happened
Tonight, at midnight, a payment is going into my credit debt that will completely eliminate it, and last night, $2000 was sent from my account to my friend Nemo to finalize paying him back for his loan that got me out of debt 4 years ago.
Tonight, at midnight, I will be debt free.
This is thanks to two donors, who donated a total of $8000 within 14 minutes of one another, wishing me a debt-free escape from California.
I have been attempting to contact them. I got in contact with one of the two, who donated $1000, and he's a complete bro and I fucking love the guy, gonna make him some pixel art as a thank you.
The other, she seems to have no means of being contacted that she left with the payment, and I can only hope she sees this.
I want to let her know how life-changing her $7000 donation is, and reward her as well with a pixel art piece.
I will also be asking both of these donors, assuming I can get in contact with the second one there, if they'd like to design characters for Melodi to be permanently immortalized in the game, even if just to give me names to give characters I design myself.
AND THERE'S A SECOND BIT OF NEWS.
Not only am I debt free, but I now have enough surplus of cash to print and ship Full Service Playing Cards Series 4.
It's been 2 years, and the guest artists have changed slightly due to some falling-outs I've had and opinions of me having changed. I also already raffled off the refunded guest-character slot from someone who didn't want to be in the deck anymore and wanted a refund.
I am redoing 100% of my art for the deck, and will be ordering the decks and personally mailing them out to the list of crowdfunders that I've been holding onto for the past 2 years.
I will be, before shipping, e-mailing every single backer of the original crowdfund and asking them if their shipping addresses have changed.
That's all!
Thank you so much, you two, this is literally life changing.
It's time to make good on this and never let this shit happen again.

//Hi again.
So, the walls in our old place finally got fixed like a week before Christmas, but we continued to live in chaos bc we were convinced 2x that we were going to be able to buy a house, so we weren't really trying to settle in.
I did a 2 month long depression treatment that involved driving 30-45 minutes out every weekday to get my head strapped into a machine that tapped on it really loudly for 20 minutes. All I got was a complete absence of free time and an increase in headaches. Also worth noting that I was still living in a tarped up home for the entirety of the treatment, so the effectiveness of the treatments may have been compromised.
Due to a combination of switching from opening to closing shifts in order to make it to the aforementioned treatments, which apparently left me with lower seniority, and scheduling being the hot messes they've always been, I ended up being subjected to a dramatic increase in physical and emotional stimuli. I did not comprehend this extra overstimulation until it was too late, much like one likely wouldn't notice their pipes were leaking if their house had already been caught in a flood. All I knew was that I ended up calling out a lot more, and because I was trying to look good for a home loan, I ended up using all my vacation time to pay myself out. I had been planning to ask for a vacation at the beginning of the year just to give my mind a break for a bit, but honestly, who knows if that actually would've done anything at this point.
Thanks to the bitchiest seller's agent in existence, the house my mom and I should be living in right now got to sit on the market for months longer waiting for a cash offer bc apparently an FHA loan with underwriter's approval for over asking wasn't fancy enough to be trusted to close. Our home-owning dreams unfortunately hit a massive roadblock when the new year started, bc my mom finally had to file her last round of taxes, which decreased any loan we might qualify for to basically nothing in our state.
With the threads my mental health was hanging on by having snapped several times over by now, I finally went on medical leave in February. It just seemed pointless continuing to pretend I was in working condition given all the shifts, meals, and meds I continued to skip. Almost a month in, my mom found a new rental opportunity for us, and we started packing to move out.
April's our first month in this new place. I'm nowhere near being unpacked, and I don't know how I'm going to be when I have to go back to work (which is farther now) until I can quit sometime soon, hopefully. However, I am seeing some progress in my depressive symptoms, and I'm mostly healed from the injuries I sustained during the move-in process. Anyway, I'm obviously not in a stable enough place to completely end my hiatus, but I would like to write a bit on here again, so if that sounds fun and you're willing to be patient with replies in the meantime, hit me up, I guess?

the most famous restaurant supply store in manhattan
restaurant supply store au. natasha romanoff* x reader meet-cute. featuring clint, kate, and steve.
i love each and every coffee shop/florist/bookstore au on this website, but why does no one ever write a reader au set in that little restaurant supply store you walk past but never enter???
*nat doesnt come in until the end of the fic but it still counts.
Writing a resume is hard, you admit to yourself, when your current employer could only name his restaurant supply store, located on Canal Street, “Canal Street Restaurant Supply”. Not even a “the” for even an ounce of distinction. Take, for example, “The Ohio State”, “The Metropolitan Museum of Art”, or “The Way You Will Never Pay Off Your Student Loans”. Something with a bit of je ne sais quoi.
Anyways, the dingy pseudo-warehouse you work in has little to offer beyond minimum wage. You can’t even use your very generous five-percent employee discount because, well, if you owned your own restaurant, why would you be working here? On the bright side, though, the shop rarely gets customers. At least, not during the afternoon shift. Most customers pick up their goods in the morning before their restaurants open. The shelves of pots, pans, and teapots collect dust as you surreptitiously mark up your latest resume draft with a red pen.
“Oi, shouldn’t you be dusting the shelves, English?” calls out a voice from the basement. The basement is where they store the big crates of pots of pans that aren’t in the big crates on the shop floor. The basement also houses your boss’s office.
Jimmy, your boss, calls you English because 1) you severely overpaid for a bachelor’s degree in English at NYU and 2) unlike your Chinese-American coworkers, you can only speak your native English.
“I just dusted yesterday!” you shout back. Capping your pen, you slide your redlined resume under a stack of handwritten invoices next to the cash register.
“You should dust every day,” he responds. His neatly brushed black-grey hair pokes its way out of the stacks of bowls lining the shelves. “This place attracts dust like my son attracts unsuitable boyfriends.”
“I think Kevin’s suitors are quite nice,” you say, in defense of your friend.
“Tsk,” Jimmy replies, “Nice to look at maybe. Why can’t he choose someone with a job? Or a nice family?”
You grab the Swiffer from under the desk and get to dusting the teapots, “I don’t know, Mr. Jimmy. Jobs are overrated, I think. Look, I’m dusting a teapot.”
He pauses and straightens the collar of his shirt. “And you dust the teapot very well.”
You nod.
Jimmy clears his throat, “I have to go deliver this shipment of dining plates to a customer this afternoon. Will you be okay here for a few hours while I’m gone?”
You make a point of turning your head and surveying the empty store. You nod.
“Good. Good,” Jimmy says. “Kevin will be by after his shift at the office.”
“Sounds good, Mr. Jimmy.”
“Call me if you need anything!”
You shake your head gently as Jimmy leaves with a heaving crate of plates in his arms. Ever since the Battle of New York, Jimmy has had an irrational fear of the Hulk tearing up his humble restaurant supply store. But things have been calm in this part of the city for years. You think your boss is a bit silly.
You yelp as a spatula nearly misses your head by a few inches. Eyes wide, you look behind you at the metal spatula, vibrating with the impact of impaling your favorite lucky cat statue. Its waving arm had dislocated from its cat-body.
Well, at least it isn’t the Hulk?
Let’s rewind a bit. Not even five minutes after Jimmy left with his delivery, the front door slammed open again. Thinking it was your boss, you poked your head out to look and immediately regretted it. A group of guys, wearing peculiar red tracksuits sped towards you, yelling indecipherable commands. You didn’t even have time to scream before they grabbed you and snarled in your face.
“Where are they?!” one demanded.
“Yeah, bro,” another echoed, “We know that brat is here somewhere.”
“Who the fuck are you talking about?” you yelped, kicking your legs futilely at them.
“The Bishop bitch!” one unhelpfully clarified.
You continued to wriggle helplessly in their grip.
"Wait, bro," one grunted, "Are we on Catherine Street right now?"
You stopped struggling.
The other tracksuit let you go.
"No, bro. The sign says Canal Street," said the first guy.
"Yeah. How do you not know what street you're on, bro? Not very New York of you…"
"Lay off, bro!" exclaimed the confused one, "...I'm from Michigan, bro."
What the fu-
"Hands in air, tracksuits!" yelled a different, younger voice. A girl?
All three bad guys turned towards the new faces. It was a young woman, wearing a lot of purple, and holding… a bow? Next to her, an older blonde man sighed deeply and reached for his utility belt.
From the purple tights and do-gooder attitude of the girl, you clocked the duo as good guys. Avengers? Whatever, you took the moment of distraction to run out of the grasp of the tracksuits.
Luckily for you, they didn't pay you any attention. You managed to escape behind the counter and cower in the space under the register. Unluckily for Jimmy and Canal Street Restaurant Supply, you could hear all of the inventory crashing to the ground and shattering into tiny pieces. You heard the sound of the bad guys grunting in pain and the thwp thwp of arrows finding their marks.
Now, there's a spatula embedded in a poor plastic cat statue. You feel yourself shaking. You duck your head down again and dissociate, probably, while the fighting continues.
Eventually though, sirens come blaring towards you. The only other sound you hear is whispering between the heroes and the pained groans of the, presumably, incapacitated bad guys.
"Hey…" comes the voice of the purple girl, "are you okay? You can come out now."
You warily grab the edge of the counter and pull yourself up. The shop is completely fucked. Porcelain shattered into glitter on the ground. Pans pelleted with arrows. A guy holding his thigh, a puddle of red… Fuck-
The last thing you hear before you black out is a gruff, "Aw no!"
You come to with a jerk. The first thing you hear is your pounding heartbeat echoing in your head. Wait. No, it's coming from around you. A heartbeat monitor. You snap your eyes open and a blinding light glares at you. Your eyes snap shut. You're in a hospital?
"Hey, hey," soothes a raspy voice. It's familiar. "You're okay."
You open your eyes, slowly this time. The light above your bed has been dimmed. You hear your heartbeat slow down.
You turn your head towards the voice, ignoring the throbbing in your skull. A pretty redhead smiles at you.
What the hell is Natasha Romanoff doing in your room?
"Oh, so you do recognize the Avengers," the spy muses, "Clint will be livid. I love it."
Whoops, were you talking out loud??
Natasha Romanoff - The Black Widow - grins at you.
Your hands fly to cover your traitorous mouth. You shut your eyes again in embarrassment. The heartbeat monitor audibly speeds up. You groan loudly, in pain. And in mortification.
"Kill me now," you mutter into your palms.
Warm hands take your hands in hers. You freeze, but Natasha gently peels your palms from your mouth.
"Can't do that, darling. Steve would not approve."
She's teasing you. You nearly pass out, again, at the thought of Steve Rogers knowing who you are anyways.
You slowly sit up, and the other woman helpfully places a pillow behind your back. You thank her and ask, "Is Captain America here?"
"Oh, she knows about Captain America, too."
Despite your hospitalized, traumatized, and increasingly flustered state, you manage to roll your eyes, "Of course I know about Captain America. You can tell Clint Barton he just needs a better marketer, if he wants more attention."
Natasha laughs, looking at you with a fond smile. "I can't say we go looking for attention in this line of work."
You shake your head dumbly. She laughs again and you feel your breath catch. Actually wait-
The infamous Black Widow barely has time to shove a pan under your chin before you lose the contents of your stomach. And the last of your dignity.
At that moment, Steve Rogers sticks his head into the room, but immediately backs away at the scene. "I'll, uh, give you two ladies another few minutes then…"
You groan. What a terrible day.
Natasha Romanoff pats your back and hands you a tissue.
Well, you suppose, it could be worse.
Your phone lights up with a call. It's Jimmy.

this season will be an absolute clusterfuck in the midfield. olmo, gundogan, fermin, pedri, gavi, fdj, torre, casado, bernal and MORE. lmao at least 2 need to leave
torre and fermin should be sold, especially fermin since we’ll be able to get some good cash for him. 6-7 players for 1 position is insanity. we need 2-3 max in case of injuries, but any more and they’ll start stabbing each other in the back for minutes
I think Torre will leave on loan again especially with Olmo's signing but I really don't see fermin leaving and I don't want him too

27 Tammuz 5784 (1-2 August 2024)
The centuries of the crusades were brutal for the Jewish population of Christian Europe, as both the Catholic Church and civil government whipped up a frenzy of xenophobia and antisemitism to promote their so-called holy wars in eretz yisroel and surrounding lands. Many of the central myths of European antisemitism, from that of the Jewish moneylender to the blood libel were developed in this era, and Christian monarchies often sought to fill their treasuries and boost their popularity and their favor with the church by forcibly expelling Jewish residents and seizing their property. When Jews were permitted to settle it was under onerous restrictions and exploitative taxation.
Between 4958 and 5155, the Jews of France were forcibly expelled four times, with the third expulsion taking place on the 27th of Tammuz 5082.
The first expulsion was announced near Pesach, and went into effect on the 24th of Tammuz 4958. The crown seized Jewish property and converted Frances’s synagogues into Catholic churches. When Jews were permitted to return, it was as serfs of the crown, with incredibly limited legal rights and freedom of movement. Despite Jewish moneylending (which was the result of legal prohibitions on Jewish involvement in numerous other trades) forming one of the French crown’s claimed justifications for their expulsion, the restrictions based on Jewish return to France even more deeply restricted Jews from engaging in other professions and very clearly tied their permission to return to the crown’s ability to extort revenue from Jewish banking activity.
While suffering significant discrimination, the Jews of France were at least not forced into exile for just over a century following their return from exile in 4958. Then, in 5066, the king of France ordered the entire Jewish population arrested and expelled on the 10th of Av. This was again a blatant cash-grab. Not only did the royal treasury once again seize Jewish property upon their expulsion, the crown claimed the right to collect all outstanding debts owed by his other subjects to Jewish moneylenders, insisting on repayment of loans that had been made by the very people he had forced out of his realm. A year later, he would repeat this successful strategy of extortion against the Knights Templar, arresting them on charges every bit as spurious as those he had leveled against his Jewish subjects and seizing the order’s wealth to fill his coffers.
This time the exile of the Jews lasted only nine years before another monarch, desperate for loans, allowed the Jews of France to return. But the return lasted only seven years before the third expulsion on the 27th of Tammuz 5082. The fourth expulsion, in 5155, was maintained for over two hundred years.
Now, France has the third largest Jewish population in the world, after Israel and the United States. But the legacy of antisemitism remains. French gentiles have not fully reckoned with the ways in which antisemitism still shapes French society.
The 27th of Tammuz this year is also Erev Shabbat. Shabbat HaMalka will join us eighteen minutes prior to sunset as we light the candles and welcome her. May you feel the peace of Shabbat.

The claim that commuting to the office is good for the economy is friggin dumb. When I worked remotely, I was going stir crazy. I wanted to go to the city to shop or just get the fuck outta my house for once.
You know what I wanna do when not working remotely? Spend as little time in the city as humanly possible. The traffic is so miserable on my way home I don't even want to take the 5 seconds to stop at a drive thru, because even if it's quick it's still 5 more seconds I'm not at home.
"but what about lunch? What if you forget lunch at home?" Then I fuckin starve for the day. I have 30 minutes for lunch. If you think I can drive even a quarter mile and back, with time to spare to actually eat, you've lost your mind. Thanks to an insane amount of red lights, it takes at least TWENTY FUCKING MINUTES just to go 2 miles. The only places within walking distance are liquor stores, cash loan places, and whatever the hell this is
Tumblr media
What's the lunch special? I don't know. I don't want to find out because food poisoning isn't worth a $3.25 meal. No name to this place that could give a clue, no name on Google, no other signs. So yeah. Nowheres getting my money just because I'm in the city for work.

more kiyoshi teppei au headcannons
pt.2
kiyoshi and hyuuga work at a cafe
y/n student of law and foreign affairs rushes in the cafe one day trying to cash in a coupon for a free coffee
kiyoshi hasn't seen her before and the cafe mostly has regulars. he notices that she's dishevelled, tired, on the brink of crying. and on top of that, the coupon has expired weeks ago. he kinda feels sorry. so, he pays for her coffee instead and gives it to her anyway, though he does stuff a small note in the cup holder that says "your coupon was expired, but I paid for your coffee. couldn't take that away from you"
he doesn't see her for a few days after this incident. hyuuga scolds him for wasting his money on that coffee, he's already struggling with his student loans while working part-time. kiyoshi dismisses it. says he felt her dire need for one small victory
y/n is with hanamiya, working on her assignments and research, but she's still kept that cup with the holder and the note in it. she feels super guilty about it. and wants nothing but to go back to that cafe and pay him back. but, her workload is too much.
though, a week later, she finds a small time frame at night and goes to the cafe. she doesn't see kiyoshi, but still asks for a coffee from hyuuga. she sits near a window, hoping to see him. but, he doesn't show up. minutes later, she pays for the coffee and hesitates to pay for the one before seeing as kiyoshi wasn't there to recognise it. so, she leaves, thinking she'll pay the next time she comes here
she decides to take a smoke in the alley next to the cafe and surprisingly, bumps into kiyoshi, who's holding a tray of cat litter. turns out he's been feeding some cats that stay near the garbage bin behind the cafe. she gathers herself and finally says hello
kiyoshi recognises her instantly. she still has that same tired look as before. she hands him the money for the previous coffee and thanks him for what he did the other day. he waves it off. but takes the money
he invites her in but she tells him that she was sitting there all along and has to leave. he tells her to come to the cafe anytime she needs a coffee. or a working coupon. they have a little chat and she asks him if they're open late at night. kiyoshi says yes. until midnight.
y/n asks him if she could sit there and work seeing as the cafe wifi is better than that of her dorm room. kiyoshi gladly agrees. she thanks him again and leaves. kiyoshi sorta likes that he could meet her and talked to her
coming back, he finds hyuuga cleaning the last of the tables. kiyoshi asks him if he needs help. hyuuga tells him no. (idk why tf I'm mentioning this). the two head off after a while, after locking the cafe up. they share an apartment, so they walk home together. kiyoshi thinks about y/n coming to the cafe often and feels happier
