i do love how silver & blaze just keep showing up together all across random sonic media. by all accounts, their first meeting after 06 was (checks notes) sonic colors ds (the superior colors version) so they just happened to meet at an amusement park and stayed friends since

rlly feels like. friends of circumstance? they wont seek each other out but when both of them meet as part of sonic shenanigans (or just to play hockey) they both have that "yoooo it's you! how have you been!" moment and hit it off again instantly

maybe there's also solidarity in it. neither of them usually spends time in this time/dimension so they have an equal chance to have no clue what the fuck is going on

Monday, Monday, Monday ...

I think Mr B's morning visage just about sums up the past week! ;-D

Well. What can I say? It's been a bit of a roller coaster and I'm all for getting off the ride at the minute. At least my hand is back and functioning, which is a big 'phew!' of happiness for me. :-) The drugs they put me on came with the usual variety of side effects ... nausea, stomach pain, the weirdest extremes of poopage I could possibly have wished for and the wildest of dreams. I just about managed to stay the course and I sincerely hope I never have to take that particular pill cocktail ever again. Still ... big plus ... tetanus avoided! :-)

Alongside my 'worst ferry in the world' medicated ride, there were further developments for poor little Smallest Dog. Despite having taken her to the vet the previous week, her symptoms were getting worse ... and the 'doggy discussion' certainly hadn't assisted. Rushed her to the vet last Friday morning (driving was fun to say the least ... ever tried it one handed? A non driving friend was the only person available to help, so they were the ones changing gear each time I shouted for them to do so ... fun, fun, fun!?! ;-)) Anyway, she ended up staying two nights at the vets on a drip. Turns out she has pancreatitis and an enlarged heart, poor little sod. Picked her up yesterday and she looks surprisingly well ... so fingers crossed she continues to be OK. The amount of meds between us, we can rattle together! ;-D

And here I am on a sunny, sunny Bank Holiday on the Emerald Isle, listening to Midlands 103 which, as ever, is stuck in the time warp, time loop of the 1980s. Still enjoying the novelty of being able to use my left hand, and watching in delight as it tickers across the keyboard. Now ... all I have to do is manage to stay awake (Smallest Dog had me up at 5.50am) ... nodding off could result in me getting my nose stuck between the G and H keys again.

I was part of a volunteer cat rescue group, and we all took a field trip to the abandoned Six Flags in New Orleans. Me and 3 friends tried getting on top of a roller coaster, but my mom showed up and yelled at us so we all left the park.
