Marie giving someone a heart attack and popping half cate's arm off for Jordan I'm screaming the second she did so instinctively she didn't even realize it she just reacted from her emotions and I love that. Also I think the reason the episodes are so short and we see a lot of romantic moments between the male form of Jordan and Marie as opposed to the female form is because they changed half the cast and I think they had already started filming ??? And Jordan was supposed to have a twin and reading the articles the story must have changed a LOT, it seems like it was supposed to be a proper college show about young adults as supes navigating that world and relationships etc and then they decided to make it a huge part of the boys story

also i knew that they had to recast some of the characters (specifically jordan,) but idk if it happened while they were filming?? if that is true (if there’s someone who can confirm or deny this 😭,) i feel like that definitely could explain why the limoreau romance arc feels kinda underdeveloped

(also, i just want to say, i’m so glad they did not go the twins route for jordan, not only bc i love jordan and everything about them and wouldn’t change them for the world, but also bc the male twin’s name was supposed to be MARK.

as in, MARK LEE. from nct. i would not be able to take him seriously, i’m sorry 😭)

but it’s super interesting that originally it WAS just supposed to be a superhero show at college and tbh, i wish they had kept that aspect. i’ve said it on here at some point, but the concept of superhero college was sooo compelling to me and we basically had that for like an episode and a half before the show got suuper plot heavy. i wish they had allowed gen v to stand on it’s own first before weaving it so deep into the boys storyline, bc it worries me that once the boys ends, it’ll pretty much mean the end for gen v too since the shows are so intrinsically linked now…

the scene right before Lockwood gives Lucy the necklace makes me absolutely insane. Lockwood has walked past the door on the landing so many times. stopped just outside and stared, barely breathing. but now he goes in, and he goes in for Lucy! he opens the door to his past. and there’s all the things he keeps locked away, all the hurt he normally can’t bear to face. but this time he doesn’t shut it away! he crosses the line, he plunges into his past—to give her something beautiful that he’s kept safe there.

Being the first girl born to a current BAU team member, Madelaine is spoilt by her aunts and uncles who love getting to see her.

One morning when Spencer doesn’t pack lunch, you figure a drive to Quantico and visit of the BAU before going to lunch would be the perfect family outing.

She’s adorably excited in the elevator to the sixth floor, bouncing on her toes in her toddler-sized converse.

She slips your grasp when the elevator doors open, dashing through the thankfully-open glass doors. She first finds Penelope in the kitchen with Morgan, and gets passed between them for hugs.

Then Rossi, Emily, and Hotch, everyone flocking to see her and talk to you. Spencer comes through the doors a moment later, immediately getting her attention. She runs over to him with her adorable toddler toddle and flings her arms around his legs before he can pick her up.

“Spencer!” She squeals into his pant leg, but it’s loud enough that everyone hears it and frowns.

“Lainey.” He tuts, picking her up and resting her on his hip.

“What, Spencer?” She repeats, addressing him by his first name. It’s much clearer that time and makes the whole team, and you, try to stifle your laughter.

He kisses her on the forehead before reminding her. “You can’t call me that.”

“But your name is Spencer, Spencer.” She defies, mischief playing in her eyes. It’s impossible not to laugh when she looks so adorable but adults finding it amusing spures her on.

“But you’re my baby so you have to call me dadda.” He informs her, trying to use his best stern dad voice.

“This has been going on for a week.” You explain to the team with an amused smile. You wish they could have seen Spencer’s mouth nearly hitting the ground the first time she called him by his name. You’re not even sure where she got it from since he’s always baby or honey to you. It does feel like his karma for teaching her how to say ‘daddy’ as her first word.

Madelaine pouts when she hears what he said, crossing her arms over her chest sassily. “I am not a baby.”

Spencer raises his eyebrows. “Well big girls call their dad’s dadda so….”

“No.” She shakes her head. “Spencer.”

He sighs dramatically, resorting to his last tactic. “Okay, call me dadda and you can have chocolate at home.” He promises.

You hit him on the arm, jokingly appalled at his bribery. “Spencer Reid, don’t bribe her.” You scold playfully.

Madelaine grins at you, a clear sign she’s up to no good before looking back at Spencer. “Yeah, Spencer Reid.”

Dear President Biden,

We come together as artists and advocates, but most importantly as human beings witnessing the devastating loss of lives and unfolding horrors in Israel and Palestine.

We ask that, as President of the United States, you call for an immediate de-escalation and ceasefire in Gaza and Israel before another life is lost. More than 5,000 people have been killed in the last week and a half – a number any person of conscience knows is catastrophic. We believe all life is sacred, no matter faith or ethnicity and we condemn the killing of Palestinian and Israeli civilians.

We urge your administration, and all world leaders, to honor all of the lives in the Holy Land and call for and facilitate a ceasefire without delay – an end to the bombing of Gaza, and the safe release of hostages. Half of Gaza’s two million residents are children, and more than two thirds are refugees and their descendants being forced to flee their homes. Humanitarian aid must be allowed to reach them.

We believe that the United States can play a vital diplomatic role in ending the suffering and we are adding our voices to those from the US Congress, UNICEF, Doctors without Borders, The International Committee of The Red Cross, and so many others. Saving lives is a moral imperative. To echo UNICEF, “Compassion — and international law — must prevail.”

As of this writing more than 6,000 bombs have been dropped on Gaza in the last 12 days — resulting in one child being killed every 15 minutes.

“Children and families in Gaza have practically run out of food, water, electricity, medicine and safe access to hospitals, following days of air strikes and cuts to all supply routes. Gaza’s sole power plant ran out of fuel Wednesday afternoon, shutting down electricity, water and wastewater treatment. Most residents can no longer get drinking water from service providers or household water through pipelines…. The humanitarian situation has reached lethal lows, and yet all reports point to further attacks. Compassion — and international law — must prevail.” – UNICEF spokesperson, James Elder

Beyond our pain and mourning for all of the people there and their loved ones around the world we are motivated by an unbending will to stand for our common humanity. We stand for freedom, justice, dignity and peace for all people – and a deep desire to stop more bloodshed.
