WASHINGTON, April 25 — Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) today released the following statement in response to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s claim yesterday that criticism of the Israeli government’s policies is antisemitic:
“No, Mr. Netanyahu. It is not antisemitic or pro-Hamas to point out that in a little over six months your extremist government has killed 34,000 Palestinians and wounded more than 77,000 – seventy percent of whom are women and children.
It is not antisemitic to point out that your bombing has completely destroyed more than 221,000 housing units in Gaza, leaving more than one million people homeless – almost half the population.
It is not antisemitic to note that your government has obliterated Gaza’s civilian infrastructure – electricity, water, and sewage.
It is not antisemitic to realize that your government has annihilated Gaza’s health care system, knocking 26 hospitals out of service and killing more than 400 health care workers.
It is not antisemitic to condemn your government’s destruction of all of Gaza’s 12 universities and 56 of its schools, with hundreds more damaged, leaving 625,000 students with no education.
It is not antisemitic to agree with virtually every humanitarian organization in saying that your government, in violation of American law, has unreasonably blocked humanitarian aid coming into Gaza, creating the conditions in which hundreds of thousands of children face malnutrition and famine.
Mr. Netanyahu. Antisemitism is a vile and disgusting form of bigotry that has done unspeakable harm to many millions of people. But, please, do not insult the intelligence of the American people by attempting to distract us from the immoral and illegal war policies of your extremist and racist government. Do not use antisemitism to deflect attention from the criminal indictment you are facing in the Israeli courts. It is not antisemitic to hold you accountable for your actions.”
—Bernie Sanders

Turkey has filed a case against Israel in the International Criminal Court.
For their ongoing genocide of the Palestinians.
"Today... we have filed a lawsuit with the International Criminal Court in The Hague against the Hitler of the 21st century of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, who must stand trial for the genocide he committed in the Gaza Strip and all crimes against humanity."
And it's not just Turkey.
Algeria has filed a case against Israel with the International Criminal Court.
With their president Abdelmadjid Tebboune saying "Where is humanity? And where is the global conscience that has become absent regarding the genocide being committed?”
Algeria's case is being backed by Colombia.
3 Palestinian organisations Al-Haq, al-Mezan, and the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights are filing their own case against Israel in the International Criminal Court.

Finally, an appropriate place where Benjamin Netanyahu, Daniel Hagari, Herzi Halevi and the rest of the IDF can claim land for themselves.

I really don't think that this whole situation is black and white.
Israeli Government is definitely at fault but that doesn't mean Hamas isn't.
Israeli government has the power to stop this yet they are treating the people of Palestine, the innocents who did nothing , as animals because of something that isn't their fault.
The Israeli Government + US government are definitely colonizers but that doesn't justify the killing and the crimes against all the Israeli civillians (especially women and children) .
At the same time even if Hamas retaliated it doesn't justify the killing of Palestinians at the hands of Israeli Government as 'Self Defence'.
The war crimes against Palestinians is not justified just because 'They attacked Israel first with terrorism'
It is terrorism but it's also apartheid.
It's always the innocents who are killed.
It's almost always the Government who is at fault.
War is Not Good For Anyone
But doesn't mean it won't happen.
Also this is a fully outside perspective on the situation, and I myself cannot speak on behalf of any of the sides.
Please pray for the civilians on both sides!
And please Stay safe!

Hamas presented a ceasefire proposal but israel doesn't accept
Proposal seen by Reuters includes exchange of hostages, Palestinian detainees
Women, children and elderly to be released in first stage
In exchange, 700-1,000 Palestinian prisoners would be freed
Israel says proposal is based on 'unrealistic demands'
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tell me again how israel cares about the hostages? Tell me how again they still trying "oh so hard" to get the hostages back?
There are currently over 8000 Palestinians in israeli jails, most of them convicted without a trial, most of them are innocent and over a 100 are serving life sentences.
Yet when hamas proposes a deal that allows ALL the children, women, elderly or ill to be released for only a fraction of the Palestinians detainees israel calls it unrealistic?
Israel doesn't care about hostages. Never has and never will. They will continue to use this as an excuse to ethnically cleanse the Palestinians.
Anyone who still supports israel is just delusional at this point.
It was never about the hostages

In a 1986 interview, Netanyhu does an amazing job describing himself 37 years later, when asked by the interviewer (William F Buckley Jr.) to define terrorism. At the time he was Israel's ambassador to the U.N.
No one can talk about terrorism better than a terrorist.

The Israeli army is just shooting anyone they think is Palestinian, much the same way that Israel is indiscriminately bombing all of Gaza, including the “safe zones” where they have directed noncombatant civilians to go right before they bomb them anyway. It’s war crimes, plain and simple.

Reminder that the Israeli government does not and never has wanted a two state solution.
Because I keep seeing the US and UK saying that this is the end goal, when it isn't.
On the 16th December 2023 Netanyahu said that he's glad he prevented the creation of a Palestinian state.
He said "You have been blaming me for almost 30 years for putting the brakes on the Oslo accords, and preventing the creation of a Palestinian state.
That is true.
I am proud that I prevented the establishment of a Palestinian state."
He says standing in occupied Palestine.
He and his government want the Palestinians to be wiped off the face of the earth and so they can take over all of Palestinian and make it Israel.
That's their plan, and it's been their plan since 1948.

Gerald Kaufman (1930-2017🙏🏼🌹🕊️), British MP, speaking from the rostrum of Parliament in 2009.
Gerald Kaufman was the son of Polish Jewish immigrants. Born in the UK, Kaufman was one of the country's most famous Jewish politicians. He was also a fervent critic of Israel, calling for sanctions against the Jewish state for its policies towards the Palestinians, and comparing Israeli soldiers to Nazis.
For years, Kaufman has been one of Britain's most outspoken critics of Israel.
In April 2002, at the start of Israel's Operation Rampart to halt the wave of suicide bombings in the country's cities, Kaufman declared Israel an "international pariah" and accused then-Prime Minister Ariel Sharon of ordering "his troops to use barbaric methods against the Palestinians", according to the BBC.
Kaufman, who was Foreign Secretary between 1987 and 1992, told the House of Commons in 2002 that it was "time to remind Sharon that the Star of David belongs to all Jews and not to his repulsive government. His actions sully the Star of David with blood."
In 2004, in an editorial published in the Guardian, he called for economic sanctions against Israel similar to those used against South Africa.
In 2009, during the war between Israel and Hamas, Operation Cast Lead, he accused Israel of exploiting Holocaust guilt to justify its actions in the Gaza Strip.
"The current Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the guilt of gentiles [non-Jews] after the murder of Jews during the Holocaust as justification for its murders of Palestinians," Kaufman had declared before Parliament.
Speaking of his personal history as the son of Jewish refugees from Poland, he had said that "my grandmother was in bed, sick, when the Nazis came to her town. A German soldier shot her in her bed. My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza."
Kaufman had compared Hamas fighters to Jewish resistance fighters in the Second World War, claiming that "Israeli army spokesman Major Leibovich was asked about Israeli murders of, at the time, 800 Palestinians. The total is now 1,000. She replied instantly that '500 of them were militants'. That's the response of a Nazi. I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been considered militants."
His opposition to Israel has persisted with age. In 2012, he had written an editorial published by the Huffington Post claiming that Israel was a "rogue state", and that the fact that Israel is a democracy "means that the Israeli electorate is complicit in its government's war crimes."
In 2015, he had told the Palestine Return Centre, a Hamas-affiliated association, that "Jewish money" was the reason why British Conservatives were pro-Israel.
